Anybody that talks bad about Shawn doesn’t know what they’re talking about. He was very professional and did wonders for me. But the most thing I was impressed with was his knowledge of the legal system. He’s not only a man of his word, but actually cares about whatever situation you’re in. After seeing him in action, as of today and whatever legal needs I require, he’s the only lawyer I will ever call. Again, anyone that puts this guy down has NO clue how many bad and dishonest lawyers that are out there. I highly recommend his services. I only wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars. Great person and a GREAT lawyer.

Shawn was recommended to me by a friend and he has represented me twice on traffic related violations and each time has surpassed my expectations. Each time he was able to reduce charges to fair settlements. He also got it done without my presence so I didn’t need to miss work. He is worth every penny.
I gave a 2 star because he did see me the same day.I couldnt really tell you if he earns a 5 star review to be honest or of he is even knowledgable or hardworking .He yawned the whole time I was there he seemed not at all interested in anything I had to say. I rushed there to see him for his counsel and I felt i had more anxiety leaving. I think he nearly fell asleep on me . I honestly got the yea, yea,(yawn),next side of him. So Im assuming he was tired. That said not sure about him as a go to lawyer ,but I can say he broke the world record if there ever was one in yawning .
Shawn is extremely detailed and helped me understand my case. He worked very hard which lead to the positive outcome I was looking for!
If you are in search of a crook then you hire him. He is just a lowlife who took my money and did nothing and refused to pay back my retainer. After several time going back-and-forth I had to take him to court and finally The judge ordered him to give me my full refund. It took me a whole year to get my hard-working money back from this thief.
I am so grateful for Shawn R. kassman and the awsome out come of what really was a disastrous event for me!! Just an all-round Nice caring Man and excellent lawyer.. Thanks again Shawn..

Shawn has a character of selflessness which shows in how he walks you through your taxes.He was more than capable to handle the changes of my career and employment status from W2 to 1099 which was forced by the pandemic. He processed my taxes with ease which lifted so much stress and worry I had put on myself. He knows his craft and has mastered it so well, despite any economic climate change.Thankful to have been connected to this firm three years ago and why throw away my keys if I found them. I highly recommend the services, and forever grateful.

2021-07-07I had to find an attorney to deal with an aggrivated harrassment 2nd degree charge, and he spent a good deal of time speaking to me about the way it works. 2021-03-16I had a long-neglected traffic ticket, for which I had been supposed to make a personal appearance at the Central Islip Courthouse, over an hours drive from where I live, and it was majorly stressing me out. One call to Shawn Kassman, and by the next day it was resolved. Shawn also went above and beyond his professional obligation to take care of other aspects of the case that would have required my making a round trip to Islip. I most likely wouldnt have been able to reach as favorable an outcome if I had handled it myself, and when you add in the time and travel (and stress) that I saved, Shawns reasonable fee was more than worth it. I unreservedly reccomend Shawn, and if I ever find myself in a similar predicament, he will be the first person I call.
