I hired The Law offices of Mindin and Mindin because i was having problems with my unreasonable landlord. Hired The Law offices of Mindin and Mindin to modify the child support owed by my childs father.He recently finished his medical residency and started making significantly more money but refused to pay any more than he did before. He kept giving us the runaround about his student loans and cost of living , but completely ignored our childs necessities, child care etc. Mr. Mindin came in and increased his monthly payments by a lot! 2022-04-27Mr. Mindin was able to get me 50% custody of my son. No weekend visit nonsense. I have my son for entire weeks and just the same amount of time as his mother and thats all the matter. Its been a very rocky road and mentally, emotionally challenging on me.... Lastly, he did not rip me off. He was very generous with my legal fees.

2022-05-17I am so thankful I found this attorney to handle a sensitive subject for me; it was so lovely to find someone that can put themselves in your shoes with your best interests. Being a paralegal myself, I can confidently say that Leon Mindin and his staff get the job done. Yes, there were times when we were under a time crunch with lots of back and forth emails that took over a week to finalize everything, but it means that Leon must be popular & in demand given all the amazing things I learned with him. He did help me reach my deadline before flying out of town, and opposing counsel was not easy to deal with (he helped me plow through 30 pages of a document that would typically be 10-15 pages). It was nice that he gave me additional legal advice outside this document for other future events in a partnership. The best part is his services are affordable with no hidden charges or fees and consultation is free, and he sends you documents with tracked changes so you can remember where you last left off. It was also nice to not be stuck on the phone with more-so email communications so he could work with my whacky schedule. I would definitely recommend this attorney for all matrimonial matters and would continue to use him in the future!

2022-06-15Never pay upfront unless you are 100% certain on the services needed. They may end up just not responding anymore leaving you with the Ethics section of the NYC bar or suing them... In my case I needed a prenup and Leon Mindin suggested to pay in full upfront as he would raise prices soon. He emphasized that in case of doubt his reputation is what matters to him most. Well, I ended up not getting married and when asking (several times) for a partial reimbursement he would turn silent and is not responding anymore. So I end up with a boiler plate prenup draft (@Leon: You never sent that 2nd draft!) which I could have downloaded from public sources and adjust myself. So much about the reputation.

2021-07-03I felt like communication was top notch, for example, Mr. mindin always gave me the opportunity to read through drafts before submitting motions and that made me feel like I was always in the loop and was able to make changes in a collaborative manner with my attorney. With Leon I always felt that he respected and valued my opinion. Unfortunately for me I actually dealt with 2 attorneys prior to this firm and I can speak to the fact that others did not give me this much attention as a client. I will make sure to recommend this firm to others who are dealing with a family law matter.

He never let a question or concern slip by and always made sure to answer me, sometimes even after hours.Transparency: Leon never painted me an unrealistic picture of what to expect. From the very beginning he told me likely outcomes (both in my favor and against) and this is his shining feature! I never felt like anyone was stringing me along to make money off my case. He didn’t suggest to file bogus motions like my ex’s attorney. I felt strongly represented during each of my hearings. There was even money left over on retainer which I got refunded.I truly appreciate the firm’s dedication to me as a client. I felt important during each conversation and hearing. I want to do my part and both thank and recommend this firm for their hard work on my case!

2020-02-25Was recommended to Leon through a friend when my fiancé and I wanted to prepare a prenuptial agreement. I was Leons client: he was very thorough with outlining our document, patient as we gathered the necessary information, communicative through calls, emails and an in-person meeting, and efficient with finalizing our paperwork. 2021-03-22I was pretty happy with Leon Mindins legal advice but I was very much unhappy with him neither responding promptly to my communications nor acknowledging them or providing me with any specific expectation when I would receive his attention. He also failed to provide me any info about my balance with respect to billing for nearly five (5) months. I would have appreciated candor about his inability to do any of those things, but he never offered any; just empty promises.

2021-07-02I was new to united states of America, my husband brutally separated me after a year I got in here, for help I went to this attorney leon mindin , he took all my money but I got denied for the removal of conditional green card status, because he missed my first interview , he didnt notice me of having first interview then he send me straight to eoir court interview and he did not show up there as well. Then he told me this case is out of his expertise. He is a fraud. Don not waste your money on this attorney.
