Large, cavernous, multi level parking garage about a 5 minute walk to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Parked here for 2 3/4 hours to visit the site, total price was $44.00. This isnt valet parking, you receive a ticket upon entrance, drive up the winding ramps and find a spot. Had to drive up to Level 3 to find a parking spot, mid day Friday.. Kind of dark in the garage, could be better lit and more and clearer exit signage, imo. You pay at an automated machine in the lobby, which at first wasnt functioning very well. Had to tell the attendant that it was malfunctioning, i.e. not reading my cc. He told me to swipe it in and out really fast. Could of been signage telling ppl of the issue so youre not trying over and over. There is an attendant on site in the lobby if you encounter any problems, which we did with the machine (minor).
Didnt have a choice, I was driving around the blocks looking for a parking spot it was a mission impossible, ended up parked my car here , Saturday parking is $24 for up to 12 hours, flat rate!I suggest you to park it there if you want a piece of mind walk around the city.
I had to get my car towed from here, which wasnt the fault of the garage, but I do have a gripe with the staff who were there at the time of the towing.I went downstairs to speak with the only employee on duty in the office to ask him what the procedure to get my car towed would look like. I found the kiosk completely unattended, so I waited. After few of minutes, a man standing across the garage (who could clearly see me) finished his cigarette and came over to speak with me. He mumbled a few words after I explained the situation and told me to tell him when the truck arrived.I returned to the office about an hour later to find it empty again, the same man was smoking a cigarette outside. I approached him and told him the truck was coming in a few minutes. He shrugged, said something along the lines of my shift done. not my problem. new person and walked away with the office still unattended.Fast forward an hour-and-a-half, I explained the situation with the next staff to arrive, the tow truck driver is now trying to leave the garage with a validated ticket that was supposed to get his vehicle and my car out. It doesnt. There is only one exit from the garage wide enough to accommodate a tow truck and towed car, which is clearly the exit we needed to use. At the ground-level this is effectively a totally different building from the building with the staff in it. The office in this part of the building was unstaffed, so I need to walk five minutes to get back to the office area to tell the man at the kiosk that his validated ticket wasnt working and was asking us to pay.The man didnt believe me and thought we dont know how to operate a parking garage exit machine (who even knows what theyre actually called). He came over to put the ticket into the machine himself and was surprised to discover that we werent lying and actually knew how to operate it.At this point maybe 30 minutes had passed since we got to the exit gates and a line of cars trying to exit formed behind the tow truck. The staff member asked the tow truck driver to back up and said he couldnt open the gate from here and returned to the main building to print a new validated ticket for us.In total the process to get towed was 6 hours with 2 of those hours spent just trying to get out of the garage. The parking situation was okay, but the people there were completely unhelpful and unprofessional.
The garage was easily accessible and there were plenty of spots available even on the second floor (the first floor is for reserved parking) on a Friday night. The ramps might seem tight, but if you are careful enough you will have no problems. There are elevators and restrooms in the building. All the employees I met were helpful, even had a somewhat longer conversation with one of them. 24/7 and self-park, no valet is stealing from your car here. Use any of the parking apps for low prices!
The roof is higher than it states when you drive in. 66 max clearance is what it states upon entry. My truck is 65 minus the ladder rack and it would not fit in a Boston Parking garage with a stated 66 max clearance. It fit in this garage with an inch to spare.. I was super gassed that they underrated the max height. Some friendly advice, take the wifes car to NYC leave the huge pickups at home.. NYC is not crew cab friendly and you will struggle to find a parking spot.... no joke
Horrible experience when parking at location and paying via spothero or park whiz. They claim you just need to be out in 10 mins and the camera will automatically capture the plates and open. When you are there within 5 mins the gates don’t open, you press the assistance button multiple times and try to get there attention, no help. Until the 10 mins have passed. Then they try to scan you and charge you 20 dollars for going over. This is ridiculous and obviously a shady scam they are attempting to pull.
This Parking Garage which is located on Greenwich St in Lower Manhattan, has both pros and cons in my opinion. And for a parking garage located in Lower Manhattan I feel like the restriction list is QUITE extensive. Way too extensive and detailed for me to give it a 5 star rating, that is for sure. First off, there are NO in or out privileges. So lets say I make a three weeks reservation from March 3rd to March 24th (21 days), I wouldnt be able to take my car out for a spin, or say grocery shopping, or wherever I would have to go during that given three week period, and bring my car back, although I have made a reservation for my particular parking spot for three weeks. Extremely corny in my opinion. Also I understand totally the need for the 24 Hour in Advance Cancellation Policy, but I have a feeling lets say they filled up the lot on accident on their own and THEY had to cancel say 3 hours before your scheduled to start your reservation, I feel like even though it was totally their fault they would still charge you as if you didnt cancel on time, even though they are canceling. I bet they have a loophole or some other kind of policy where they wouldnt cancel they would tell you you can wait right outside the lot until a spot opens, and you could be out there for days, untill someone takes their car and leaves to open a spot, and lets say you dont agree to that, boom, your breaking 24 hour cancellation notice policy and you still pay, which lets say your doing a 3 week trip like I mentioned before, that would cost you a pretty penny. If I was leaving NYC for 3 weeks starting March 3rd, and I wanted to leave my car here, if I got it there for 8 am on March 3rd and returned on March 24th at 7pm it would run me an estimated $1,080 dollars. Which is QUITE the charge. Especially if that loop holes exists. also if you lose your ticket while your out in your travel and come back without the ticket but can easily prove identity and ownership of vehicle and parking policy, they would charge you $46 everyday that you had your car there extra because you lost your ticket. Which is WAY too much. Extra $966 for a 3 week trip. No thanks. That alone gets your establishment 2 stars my friends. Would never park here.
The perfect place to park to visit the World Trade/9-11 Memorial/Oculus area and only a few blocks walk. And the only garage in the area where you drive in, get a ticket, and park where you like. It’s all self service. There are elevators and bathrooms to use, and the spaces are generously sized. Most garages in NYC, you drive in, and have to hand your car to a valet, and they park it. You’re not allowed in the garage. So this is the perfect place to come back and forth to drop souvenirs off, change clothes, or just rest a little at your vehicle. Max charge for 24 hours was $42.
Great parking garage located by the entrance to the battery tunnel in Manhattan. Self parking which is rare in Manhattan. Prices are good too. If you get there early enough for the early bird special rate and park on the roof there is a discount. Always plenty of parking available
Easy to park in lot once I got there, but they don’t make it easy for you to get in. No one was in front directing traffic so I couldn’t get in and I ended up going to BK because I couldn’t change lanes in. Need to make it better because that was annoying or at least provide directions on your website about where to enter. Too complicated for that reason so probably wouldn’t go back unless they fix that.
I generally look for 3 things in the places I frequent:Service - this is a self service garage.Offering - there are three types of offerings in this garage. On the first floor you have reserved spaces. On the second floor you have reserved spots which are accessible via your keycard. The rest of the garage is parking first-come first-serve.Atmosphere - this garage is very well lit and is very safe.I hope you found this review helpful.
Reasonable rates and relatively safe with active security patrols through the garage. GPS gets a little messed up due to its location so pay attention to the signs as it can become a bit difficult to find the entrance. Once your in though its easy to find ample parking. Great spot for parking for the 9/11 memorial or battery park.
Their payment system is messed up, if you are planning to park in this spot make sure you pay in the way out otherwise you will end up paying twice. The employees are the worse, they will not assist you at all. I wish there are negative stars, I will give them negative 100 stars.
I have a weird admiration for parking structures, and boy let me tell you this one does not disappoint. Great neon sign, scary hairpin ramps, and beautiful yet ugly exterior. I hear it is pretty expensive to park here. Head up to the roof for early bird specials and some great views of NY Harbor
Nice and close to Battery Park. We parked here and got to the park within about 10 minutes or less of walking. We were taking the ferry to the Statue of Liberty at 8am and we were able to find a spot on the 2nd level, although it was pretty full for being so early. Its pretty expensive parking, but its for the convenience. We also walked to the 9/11 Memorial site after the Statue of Liberty. The garage is in a great location to see these sites.
I had to go in before 8:00 AM on Saturday 28th Sep for an IELTS exam at Manhattan Language-26 Broadway, as this was their recommended parking. The LAZ parking usually opens at 8:00 AM, but the #manager(An Old Guy) of the battery park asked me to pay an extra $20 just because of my urgency and need to be able to park before 15 mins as my exam reporting was at 8:00AM!The parking was supposed to be #$18.50 for Saturday and this guy charged me #$40 inspite of me requesting him to charge as per the fees mentioned on their parking garage display boards. If the old and elderly people do such things, how can you expect the younger generations to treat them with respect and follow their lead.....?- It was a complete mess before my exam, and to my surprise the writing module was about the same topic- “Do you think old people are a burden to the society across the world?”As a man in my early 30’s ..., what do you think my response would have been like.....?An open #Money RipOff as soon as you see a non citizen, isn’t the solution for survival in US!- Think wisely before you act✌️!
2.5⛤The building/structure lacks SIGNAGE to let its patrons know where to go retrieve their vehicles after certain hours. Been a problem forever; their customers tend to walk into the entrance to a Highway which leads into the Battery Tunnel that goes to Brooklyn. Its a safety issue that has never been addressed by the people that run this place.
They have terrible customer service, if you are in New York and are going to park dont choose here because they only accept the printed ticket. When we arrived we tried to explain that we had already paid online and we didnt have a printer but they said we had to have it printed. And for that reason we had to pay another 15 dollars.
This is probably the only self parking garage in NYC. Tight spots and narrow ramps add to the experience of parking downtown by WTC Memorial, Wall Street, Battery Park and the Statue of Liberty Ferry & Ellis Island. Take a ticket on entry and pay using the ticket in the office before leaving. About $38 per day as of this date. Caution, the 7th floor (roof) is only for monthly passes. If you try to go to that floor, you will get stuck.
Very large self park garage conveniently located by 9/11 memorial. Pedestrian entrance we used closed between time we parked and returned (closed at 5:00 PM) making it a complicated to find the car from the only open entrance. Car and open entrance were in separate buildings connected by a over pass on one floor only, which was not clearly communicated via signs.
Horrible garage. Every time I go there its nightmare. Last week I parked near the corner of west & morris st. - I took the elevator down & walked out and over a bridge. when I got back all the doors and entrances were closed (they close them @ 9pm). It literally took me 40 mins to find my car. never again

2022-03-08Use this garage every time I come to the city and stay at the Fairfield just a couple blocks away. A little pricey, but worth it for the extra protection of a garage and staff on site. Never had any bad experience with staff. They have always been very helpful.

2022-05-17This place ripped me off last night. Their time clocks were off by 6 minutes. I pulled in at 6:03pm and clocked me at 5:57pm. A difference of $20 in price. I showed this their attendant on duty and their manager and they refused to believe it even when displaying the discrepancy on several cell phones. If you have to use this rip off joint in the evening park their well after 6pm

2022-01-31When I rent cars I use this parking lot so I wont get towed or ticketed with the confusing parking signs on the street. Very well lit for the most part. Doesnt seen to be any security overnight, only thing Id have to point out bad.

2021-12-19Worst parking garage experience ever! The young black gentlemen working there came out of his booth to scream at my for pulling over to the side to ask him a question. We go up park and everything was fine. Then leaving the garage was super annoying with the app I had to re-park and find the office to show them my phone. Do Better guys! It’s a parking garage not a space ship.

2019-03-24Spacious facility, restroom on site. Cheapest parking in the NYC. There are two elevators, so youll need to know which one you park close by. One denotes with B. The pay station is next to the elevator without B. You have to use the entrance on the back (Greenwich St). Use West->Rector->Greenwich. If you use the direction by selecting the garage from the map, dont turn right to the tunnel when the Google GPS tells you, doing so will lead you to Brooklyn (I ended in Brooklyn twice). Keep going straight and turn right onto Rector. The parking is very close to many Metro lines.

2022-05-10Overpriced and they charge extra for vehicles that they believe are oversized. There are no rules on what constitutes an oversized vehicle so expect to pay an additional 15 to 20 dollars.

2019-09-12For the memorial, they host lights that are spectular and really look like they are reaching the skies far above. I would recommend walking close to see it rather than from the world trade center or further away since the lights look much more intense up close

2021-12-02This place is like a maze and the folks who works here is not very helpful if you cant find your car, but if you do drive into lower Manhattan, this is a good option. This is a self park lot and they have an early bird option if you entered by 10am I believe (do check their website). If you need hourly parking, its like 27 bux for 2 hours. I slightly went over and ended up paying the max which came out to 44 dollars so do plan accordingly as the extra 20 minutes might cost you a few pretty penny.

2021-12-12Great garage for self-parking. There were plenty spots available on a Saturday afternoon and it was in a great location. Clean restrooms were available for use as well.
