Now... Im not vegan, but this is definitely something to try out if you want to try some guilt free food that tastes good. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. They have different Soup of the days (tomato, zucchini, broccoli, butternut squash, black bean, and carrot)... Ive tried all of them, and honestly I love all of them.. (tomato, black bean and broccoli are my favs though... Shhhh, dont tell the other veggies soups!) The Tibetan Mama is still my fav, hands down! I would highly recommend their Full Therapy ( 3 half portion prescription bowls, so that you get to try a little bit of everything), and do try some of their organic wine ($24 any bowl and a glass all inclusive) after 5pm! Now, if you are feeling adventurous, and know exactly what you want, they also have the Do it yourself option where you can create your own bowl. They have 4 locations around the city, they also have delivery apps or pick up options. The Pasta Bolo and Chili Sin Carne are also highly recommended for those wanting something more traditional. Of all locations, I must say that Lexington Ave is my personal favorite. Its more cozy and intimate. The staff are super friendly and its clean! They dont do reservations, but this cafeteria styled restaurant is a must see! Also be sure to try out their Wicked Drinks (Dark and stormy my fav), or their desert options (omega 3 brownie and chocolate chia mud are my personal favs!). You wont regret it!
Wow wow wow! Been looking at this spot everyday for the past 4 months and wondering about it. Perhaps the cleanest amd healthiest restaurant in Murray hill. Beautifully decorated & super friendly and helpful staff. Everything, absolutely everything looks, smells & so far tastes delicious! Cannot wait to be back & try the rests of the meals and amazing desserts. Vegan heaven, never tasted better!
I ordered on the phone and picked up. Anderson took my order and was there to greet me upon my arrival. The space is lovely, airy and graceful. Anderson and his colleague were friendly and helpful. I had a Visa gift card that was giving us some trouble. Anderson was so patient, and finally was able to make it work. The food was delicious. I had the chili and my son had the Tibetan Mama bowl. We split the Botanical Salad. Everything tasted so good!! The chili tasted like beef chili. The salad was fresh with lots of veggies, and the saffron aioli dressing had just the right amount of bite. If you want clean, healthy delicious tasting vegan food, try this place out. You and your tummy will be happy you did.
Sorry not impressed again. The settings are pleasant and clean; I had to sit outside, there were fruit flies. The staff was strange but friendly. I ordered the chilli sin carne. Brown rice, quinoa, some veggies, chilli and vegan sour cream. The only issue, you dont have to be from New Mexico to know it had nothing to do with chilli. It was beans in tomato sauce. Kinda bummed out.
Beautiful interior decor, lovely place to sit for lunch. Manager politely describes the menu when you step up to order. All items look fresh and vibrant. Food plated for each order quickly but with attention. Well priced for vegan food in the neighborhood! Recommend the special soup and half bowl.
Le Botaniste is an absolute gem. The food is fantastic, the staff is incredible and friendly (Wanderson and Alexa are amazing), and its a great value as the food is nearly 100% organic. Our household favorites are the Tibetan Mama, the Botanical Salad and the Vegetable Tajine.I really cant speak highly enough about this place.
Incredible! First full day trip back to my office in Manhattan and I searched for vegan options that were open near my office and found this place. Had the most delicious and healthy meal. Highly recommend for vegans and anyone who appreciates tasty food. Beautiful space too! Can’t wait to return
Im so disappointed about this place. The staff is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. There was a guy with a mustache serving soup. He didnt help my sister to make a choice of soup because he knows nothing about the food he serves. When I started ordering he just ignored me and took the order from the person who was after me. So I believe he doesnt have any customer service skills and knows nothing about customer service. Im so disappointed. There is no excuse for such behavior.
Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner at Le Botaniste. We wanted something that delicious, unique, satisfying and healthy and they delivered the whole package. The atmosphere was bright and inviting and the staff was helpful and courteous. The food could convert and non-vegan to the “green side.” The food was organic, flavorful and fresh. with each bite I wanted more!
Nice plant-based spot. I had the young coconut ceviche, which was delicious. I also had the summer roll which might not be the prettiest one around, but it was tasty and full of a lot of stuff that I don’t remember:) Both the ceviche and the summer roll were in the “Bites” section of the menu, but if you want a light lunch, any of them on their own would be enough. Not too expensive and really nice food and settings.
Healthy and tasty, but very expensive, lunch place in Midtown. If ordering online from their site MAKE SURE you’re ordering from correct location (they have more than 1 in manhattan). The site is not that clear. I ended up ordering from UES location and was screwed out of lunch when I went to Midtown location to pick up. Hopefully they donate orders like this to the homeless. Otherwise I threw away $15+ on a Tibetan Mama bowl for nothing...
Normally l would give this place 5 stars - but their new location at 43rd and Third needs to be tweaked - they were low on greens - just a bunch of soggy cucumbers- and the portion of Butternut Squash was half the size of the one I got yesterday at the Lexington Avenue location- Also the front door weighs about 50 pounds- way too heavy- Honestly I love this place- hope they get their act together!
Without doubt an exceptional place. His motto is let food be medicine, that sums it up. 99% organic food (plant based). Everything is spectacular, seriously. From the decoration, apothecary type, transformed into kitchen. The attention is supreme. The quality of the food is really amazing, I am not exaggerating. The price is also excellent, with 12 dollars you go very well fed, light, and without eating junk! I recommended it to several friends and they were fascinated. I went to Sohos too and everything stays the same as this one.

2022-06-09Walked in, it’s self-serving so just go up to the counter and order. It’s not very big but decent size to stop by for lunch or a quick bite. Not vegan but love how fresh and tasty the food is! I got the Tibetan Mama bowl with the omega 3 brownie. Brownie was a little dry and nothing special but still good. The bowl was delicious and I’ll definitely be back to try more or even make up my own! They have wine bottles on the table that have water in them.A charming little space!

2022-01-17Had an excellent experience at Le Botaniste! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and felt welcomed into the restaurant. I got the Tibetan Mama bowl which was delicious and perfect for a cold day. Everything was super fresh. The ambiance delightful. A great nicer casual place to take friends who are vegan or just enjoy some good food.

2022-05-31The food was well made and very filling. Glad to eat something so healthy. In the vegan world its easy to consume a lot of processed food. This is all whole foods. Loved it!

2022-04-19Delicious Vegan food! And I’m not even vegan.I have visited as often as I could just to enjoy the flavor and the bonus heathy feeling after. The Pasta Bolo (a vegan bolognese) is an amazing start for any first time visits.I can’t say enough just how much I genuinely enjoy their options. It’s a quick service style where you can use a reusable bowl or take out one of their compostable bowls.

2022-07-30To be honest I did not liked the food but my family loved. What no one liked was the way the cashier treated us. “Concept”, vegetarian, environment friendly and etc but with a disrespectful treatment to the costumer. Doesn’t make any sense

2022-03-08This restaurant looks elegant and nice but the food I found was not that great. I ordered the Vegetable Tajin thinking I was going to be eating Moroccan Tajin but instead I ate overcooked vegetable soup over couscous. I could not taste any Moroccan spices in it at all. I was very disappointed with this dish. There is a restroom inside but it is locked with a coded lock, so its for customers only. The food is pre prepared and sits inside large 8 qt stock pots on warmers. They top off my bowl with fresh bean sprouts and shredded carrots.I was rather dissapointed with the dish I ordered. They do sell wine here, by the glass.
