I’ve been taking my King Charles cavalier here for quarterly grooming and I’m never disappointed. Kind and attentive staff. Highly recommend
Sadly I have to update my review. We been happily brining our dog to this location. However, today wasn’t a good experience for my dog nor myself. When we picked her up the person at the register said they no longer take cards, which we found strange since we always pay with a card. When we asked why, no explanation was given… however shortly since we said we didn’t have cash, the card was taken and they said “this is the LAST time! Next time bring cash!”…. During this visit we also noticed prices keep magically changing. One time it was cheaper, the next day overly priced. We will not be returning to a place where they make you feel like they are doing the services for free. Thank you but no thank you! Customer service needs work.Amazing services! My dog always leaves happy and smelling great 😊
Injured my friend’s cat, as multiple people are reporting. His cat was taken to this location to be groomed and then injured. Had to be taken to the ER
My friends took their pets to be groomed and received horrible service with them hurting the pets too. If I could I would give them 0 stars
The best grooming for my doodle! They leave him looking like a superstar, honestly the best grooming my dog has ever had in his 4 years of life. They also have the best selections of quality pet food I’ve ever seen in one place. I’m so happy I found this beautiful pet boutique. You will never find a more caring group of women to take care of your babies. Thank you ladies!
Beautiful dog boutique! I went to pick up a birthday cake for my Shiba Inu. He loved it! The shop is clean with great displays of product. They also offer grooming, boarding and daycare. The owner is very nice and helpful. Great place to shop and support a small business.
Truly exceptional - We went to many groomers but my bedlington terrier has never looked better since we started coming here. No where else is even close. 100% recommend.

I’ve been taking my yorkie Benji for over 4 years for dog grooming, boarding and day care. My Benji has some health issues including food sensitivity. The owner and her staff truly care about the dogs and provide superior care and services. I’ve gone to Europe on several occasions with peace of mind knowing that they love & care for my fur baby just as much as I do. Prior to Le Pitou my pup was traumatized after a grooming and had stomach issues. My Benji loves the staff and comes out completely relaxed and impeccably groomed. I highly recommend this facility. They are top notch, professional and truly love animals
The owner Martha was very professional and nice. The groomer did great job.
Let me start by saying i love supporting small businesses. But this place needs to be investigated On how they treat animals. I had the worst experience here that i am traumatized taking my baby to any groomer now. The way groomers shake and pulls on the doggys leg to “cut better “ can be done gently not aggressive like these people do it. Please don’t bring your dog here !!!

If you value your time and money do not give it to this business! It took the owner two weeks to refund my money for a service that couldn’t be completed. For two weeks there was no contact or assurance that I would have my money refunded after she explicitly guaranteed I would be refunded for covid related reasons. Then when I finally got within reach of the owner she was very callous and rude without even apologizing for the horrible communication and hung up before I could finish speaking to assure she had my information to process the refund. Extremely unprofessional way to run a business. I don’t generally like to give bad reviews because I give people the benefit of the doubt and I am very understanding about others personal issues but she was extremely rude to me and I don’t appreciate rudeness. I would give 0 stars if I could.
Fantastic. My long hair Manx cat was treated like the royalty he knows he is. Le Pitou is absolutely spotless, the environment is totally relaxed and mellow, just the kind of place one can entrust their precious dog or kitty. to. Alexandra and her staff obviously truly love animals and everything about the place confirmed my first impression. Today was my first time. Roscoe and myself will be regular customers.
Please do not go here! Extremely unprofessional! Cut my dog and refused to take accountability. Instead proceeded to be rude and blame me. HORRIBLE! Dog food is old and overpriced. The only reason anyone comes here is because they are the only shop around. Again if you care about your pet do not take them here.

Le Pitou is a gem . Luxurious boutique for pets with friendly and professional women who run it and operate in the best possible way !My exceptions were surpassed . My miniature poodle turned into a model for a pet add :) they made me happy , spent 4 hours working on him because he was severely mottled . Instead of shaving they spent the time and effort to shape , groom and transformed him into an adorable teddy bear alike .What a pleasurable experience for us . Thank you Alexandra for you care and love for animals . Keep it up 👍🏻
Come to this lovely establishment with your furry family member. We dropped off my parents senior shih tzu and the owner and groomer were very loving and hecwas so happy. Extremely knowledgeable and the shop is well organized and welcoming. We will definitely be regulars.

I had to find a new groomer due to not having a car anymore. The lady who answered the phone was so nice and pleasant and got me an appointment the same day! Also the groomer did an amazing job with my Shihtzu. Would recommend and ill be back!Update: After months of going here, I had a total miserable experience. We had Henri tropical storm and it was pouring rain. I walked 20 mins to get there with a toddler and a dog. When I dropped my dog off, I asked her what time the place closes since I was hoping the rain would ease up and also because my son would need a nap. She goes No, u come when we call you! just like that with a tone. I was stunned but tried not to let it bother me that much. 2 hrs later, I went to pick him up and as usual gave her my card for payment. She said they dont accept cards anymore and it would be cash only from now on. I asked her why and she couldnt give me a reason..She was so rude too in how she said it. At this point I was DONE - soaking wet and she charged me $20 more cause he was matted. umm - no he wasnt because I always check for that so I dont get ripped off. I took the dog and didnt leave a tip and will not be returning because that was the worst customer service - EVER!!
This place is the best place to go for grooming your pet! They do a wonderful job.The boarding is also excellent. The ladies who work here truly are animal lovers. They take good care of your dog/pet. I have been coming here many years and have never been disappointed. Put your care in them!

Careful and loving groomers. The shop is great, allowing your pet to calm down before grooming. They also carry so many wonderful pet supplies and their store cat is so friendly. Love bringing my pet there.

My Morki Billie has been going her since she was born. Shes now 9 years old. This place is like family the grooming is always gorgeous, and they take really great care of your pets!
I took my dog to this grooming place and he couldnt walk for a week. The groomer cut his nails extremely short. All his nails were bleeding. I called and she said its okay he will be fine Calls us back if something goes wrong. Extremely upset. The groomers dont have the experience or patience ..

I have my dog groomed here and they do a great job. The staff and owner are sweet to people and their pets. Also have a large amount of pet foods, treats, toys, medications, and other supplies.
This place is ridiculous. They charge $20-30 more than any other groomer Ive ever used, change their prices EVERY time I go there, and after receiving my dog back from them, I found that they had cut his hair/shaved him down in multiple places when all I asked for is a bath. WHO THE HELL DOES THAT WITHOUT ASKING!?!?! Not to mention hes a border collie - THEY DONT GET HAIRCUTS. I will literally never set foot in this place again and I would recommend you stay away as well.

Did this place buy reviews for 5 stars?the owner gives you quote based on how you look. I asked about daycare inquiry in person and received a different price than on the phone, both times with description of the dog.My neighbor told me when they asked for a quote, the owner responded, how much do you want to pay? What kind of business is this?
Worst place to take your dog,My dog died right after getting a Grooming. Was miss treated and services are the worst at this place. Theyre not animals lovers and dont care. I know few peoples in my neighborhood having the same problem.If you really love your pet please dont take it there, mine died after a Grooming session.
I called and tried to reschedule and the owner was extremely rude over the phone. She was not allowing me to speak because she kept on talking over me telling me “what I should and shouldn’t do”. I was even trying to apologize for the inconvenience but she was constantly speaking over me and yelling over I had to hang up on her because she had a disgusting attitude. That is not the way you speak to a customer! I definitely will not be going back!

Bad place,expensive and liar to mi in my face the groomer put glue silicone ,I call for explanation why!??? She told me is normal,I meet with the owner Days later and told me ,we never put glue to any dog!I cant believe she liar in my face,the groomer put glue silicone for attach bow in the head of my puppy, well ,I nevercomeback . I learned (you tube)groomer i doing my self, i save money and my babies no more trauma .
I cant believe they want to charge $125 for a cats grooming it is ridiculous, it is almost twice the price every other place has. And they even said that the price could increase depending on my cats behavior.
First time poodle baby didn’t have to get shaved to the skin. It’s expensive $100 worth it The people are friendly

Love love love Lepitou. I take my shi-tzus there for grooming and sometimes for short-term boarding. Lady and Alexandra are very sweet and accommodate us whenever we visit. I just wish they were closer to where we live- but its still worth it! -Chris Maliarakis
Lol just don’t go.Simple comparison:Here - a wash, half dried, no paw trimming, no nothing, 100+$Other places I go to - a wash, trimming, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, 44$(not even talking abt difference in their facilities)Learnt my lesson with cash ;))))
My dog has been going here for a year now . Hes so scared he pees himself as soon as he sees the door. And a few months ago he had trauma to he eyes . ( bloody eyes ) . Dont recommend they should be put out of buisness

This place is awful. The gave my dog the worst hair cut and lost her collar. They gave it to another dog. When I called to see if the lady returned it the person who answers the phone kept telling me to call back. It been 4 days
Thorough and friendly groomers in a wonderful little shop. The shop is full of toys and supplies for your pet in a warm and calm environment.

2022-02-06Gigi LOVES going to Le Pitou. Regardless of the reason, is it getting more wet food, to get a hair cut or to stay there for couple of days in the day care. She is always happy to be with the staff! I dont know how they do it but my dog just loves them! I would recommend their services to everybody! They treat your pets as they are their own! The food selection is really good (all of treats, wet & dry food). A lot of colorful leashes, collars and stylish Jackets and sweaters. If you love your pet you will love it here!

2022-04-15This is by far the best pet store in the forest hills area. The owner is so kind and involved with her customers that a lot of us go just to visit her. Her knowledge of animals and products helped my Russian blue cat beat a urinary track infection. She also introduced me to the best dog food and supplies for my beautiful red Fox lab pup. Even with inflation she still has better products and full shelves unlike big box pet stores. Thank you for taking such good care of my pet family. My wife and I appreciate you and will continue to be loyal costumers!

2022-08-14Needed a new groomer and couldn’t have been more happier with my choice. Potato is my sweet orange sable Pomeranian who has an unruly coat no matter how much I brush it- it grows wild! They did a great job shaping him to perfection!

2022-07-02A vet visit cost me $260, 7 days my dog had to take medication because my dog got an ear infection because they fail to sanitize the tool they used to clean and pluck the fur out of my dogs ear. $97 for grooming. I dont know why these types of businesses are so careless with our beloved animals. Will not go back ever. And further more stop telling people you know how to groom all dogs to a clients liking. YOU HAVE NO CLUE!!

2022-03-27I have been coming here for a few months now with my Maltese. The owner is friendly and making an appointment is easy. I get the full package and not only is the grooming staff professional, but my pup always comes out looking amazing! They also offer daycare and boarding.

2022-07-07My first time and my last. Long story short the owner was very nasty to my son. He asked to see the dog before paying. This seems to be something that they dont do, he didnt ask to leave with the dog, just to see it. I was outside unable to park, so my son ran in for me. Did they think he was going to see the dog, grab him and make a run for it? The lady there was very rude to him and me. As if he asked her for something so grand. ..They can keep their business....never returning.

2022-08-18Was just in there today, what can I not say about this place that gets 1 star if I could give no stars I would, for rudeness, hovering over the customer like if u were stealing their over priced dog clothes, the one lady behind the counter came to give me a price on the 2 different size K9 backpacks as there are no prices on anything in the store, making up prices according to the class if ppl that walk in. I was interested in buying both of them. The clerk was so nasty n rude throw her hands in the air n quoted me for Trainer back pack $99 n $160 for the large k9 backpack...PPL LET ME TELL YOU THAT ITS MUCH MUCH MUCH CHEAPER BUYING DIRECTLY FROM K9 SPORTS the Trainer backpack $49.99 no matter what size u need for your dog.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF WITH AN ATTITUDE!!!!

2022-08-21I have been with Le Pitou for years! They groom my senior dog with the utmost care. My pup comes out with a youthful pep in her step looking gorgeous. The groomers are kind and patient highly professional people. The cost of the grooming is well worth it, and the owner Alexandra treats my dog as if she were her own. Le pitou is my dogs happy place I highly recommend checking them out. In addition it’s rather disconcerting to see a local FOOD guide give a poor review there are opinions and then there are facts. My experience of Alexandra has in the many years of doing business with her a business woman of integrity. She runs an extremely tight ship there. Yes, her store is high end, so if you’re looking for quality yes you will pay for that or not. I find the two bad reviews from local guides unjust as well as a trashy way to express their truth. I’ve tried so many groomers and never have I come across a biz owner who actually cares as much as she. I suggest, local guides to think before you write and clearly you are the minority, subjectively as well as viciously representative of no one but each other
