Generally the service and food are fantastic. Tonight was a totally different story, apparently new kitchen staff! Our server Cheryl was fantastic as usual but the turn around time was awful. One hour twenty five minutes for our appetizers then another 35 minutes for the meal! Cheryl was very apologetic and did her best to keep us happy. Won’t be back for a while!
We were a party of 8 celebrating my daughters birthday with her grown children. The restaurant was busy but our waitress, Samantha Michelle was wonderful. She was efficient, pleasant, and took care of us to the T. The other helpers were just as efficient. The food was plentiful and done perfectly and delicious. We will certainly be going back there very soon.
We like to dine at Leibro’s whenever visiting family in this area. Always great service and delicious food. Probably the best Italian food I’ve ever tasted. I usually get the chicken Parmesan ($21) A little expensive, but well worth it. Casual, cozy dining area and usually a waiting list on weekend nights.
Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal the food was outstanding I had lobster ravioli exquisite. My friend had a fish fry my other friend had a salad with two meatballs on top which was new and absolutely delicious he said the sauce was extremely delicious and were talking about two true Italians that gave eaten at a number of Italian Restaurants. It was the first time they ate which I suggested we go and again outstanding, delicious everything was fantastic.Love everything ❤
The barmaid was spectacular. The food has gone way down hill and now they charge 50 cents per take out box it was 95.00 for 2 for take out. 2x of wings, chicken with cream and a side of broccoli. The spaghetti we both felt was unedible totally not what we are used to from them.
Eggplant Parm and Chicken Parm were phenomenal! Huge portions, tomato basil cream sauce was really well balanced. Service was very speedy and servers are so nice and attentive. Highly recommend the house salad dressing. Cant wait to come back to try out more menu items next time!
Went for lunch here last week. Husband had cheese raviolis, I had open face turkey and mashed potatoes, off the lunch menu. Great portions for lunch, plenty to fill you up but not so much that you need doggie bag. Food was really good service quick and friendly. Husband had peanut butter tart for dessert. Soooo good. He wasnt thrilled to share when I asked for a bite!
I work at Health System Services and was asked to order lunch as a nice treat for the employees, Tina in the catering department was accommodating and helpful every step of the way. All the food was individually wrapped and packaged is single portions ready to grab and go. The presentation of the food was above and beyond what anyone expected. The food was equally as good as it was looked. We have 35 people at Health System Services office currently and Tina made ordering lunch a breeze. There was plenty of food to go around and had leftovers for people to take home. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful job Tina and the Lebros Team did to meet our needs for an office lunch that everyone could enjoy. I received high praises from co-workers regarding the delicious spread of food. I will highly recommend to any who ask. I will also be using them in the future for my own personal catering needs!
Ordered food with my friends to go. The lady on the phone was very, very nice. You do get a good amount of food/portions. My pasta primavera was delicious and I greatly enjoyed the alfredo sauce (5 stars on that sauce). In regards to the food the only feedback from our dinner that was negative was that the tomato sauce really didnt taste that good (like bland tomato paste). Also, when we picked up the food, the smell walking in was like a bad fart even through our masks. Otherwise, lovely place. The rest of our meal was good.
The best steamed clams ever. My guess they were steamed in garlic butter and parmesan cheese. Our server seemed to have too many tables to pay any attention to us. Never asked if we wanted a second drink until we got her attention. Other people who were seated after us and received food before us. Our food was luke warm which leads me to believe it was sitting in the kitchen for awhile. Brittany who was NOT our server picked up the slack. Thank you Brittany. We had Veal parmigiana and veal francaise, both of which were very good just not popping hot. Well go back but request Brittany as our server. Was glad to see the restaurant was busy. Glad they survived Covid.
Had the seafood stew special, was very good, plenty of shrimp and scallops, wife had the lebros chicken with sauteed spinach and cheese, very tasty. our waitress was awesome and attentive. was with 5 others and she was able to split the checks. Had a blues band start up part way through dinner, very nice
First time there today, when you enter the restaurant the smells from the kitchen make your mouth water. The menu is extensive and great selection and variety, prices are very reasonable. My husband and I both ordered the roast beef sandwich on a toasted baguette with french fries, it was outrageously delicious. Our waitress was delightful, she had a lot of tables and was really hopping but maintained a great smile and thanked us for our visit.I can’t wait to return, Lebro’s Restaurant will definitely be our first choice.
Excellent food. Messed up our takeout order and would not accommodate at all. I am a vegetarian and my food was covered in meatballs. Also received the wrong salad dressing. I checked my receipt and everything was as I requested and they kept telling me I was wrong when I called to complain.
Such a nice local restaurant that gives you that hometown feel. The waitress was very nice and helpful with her recommendations. Food was delicious, loved the homemade salad dressing! Will definitely be going back on y next trip to Buffalo, so much better than all the chain restaurants near the UB campus.
Wife and I went to Lebros for dinner last night. It was a busy night, but we were seated within 15 minutes. The tables are fairly close together which creates a noisy atmosphere. Conversation is a little difficult. We hadnt been here in several years, but past visits were always great. Im sorry to say, that quality has gone down in that time. Our service was quick, but not attentive. We were never offered drink refills. We both had the homemade lasagna. It was rather bland with little flavor. The sauce was okay, the meat was boring. We each had different soups for appetizers, neither was above average. There are better choices in the area. I doubt we will return.
Went on a Friday night and got there early, around 4:30 and it was already busy but we got a table. My wife and I both had pasta dishes. She had the carbonara and I had linguine with white clam sauce. Both there very good though I thought mine had too much brooth on the bowl as when I was done there was a good cups worth in the bowl.My main suggestion though is the place needs to update their kitchen exhaust system. Seems they offer a $9.99 fish fry special till 5 (hence it being busy early) but the whole restaurant smelled of fried fish and so do you and your clothes when you leave the place.
Ordered the Basic Burger with cheese and bacon. Not sure what kind of meat they use, but it didnt look, smell or taste like meat (ground beef). The bacon wasnt even cooked enough. I ordered the burger well done, however, it was quite pink. Fries looked undesirable as well. In fact, I couldnt even finish it, and overnight I became sick from it. Will not order again.
Great place for lunch. The Cobb salad i had was good sized and came with a decent amount of chicken for the price. My friend had the Mediterranean salad which actually looked better than my salad, so may try the next time. We split a small pizza on the lunch menu which was unbelievable. It was cooked just right and had a subtle sweetness to it that went perfectly with the spinach, mushrooms and other toppings. Loved it.
A fantastic italian restaurant where everything is made from scratch. Ive had the chicken parmesan, the eggplant parmesan, and the meat ravioli in my recent visits. Ive had the same wonderful woman as my server every time and shes just amazing. The house dressing is absolutely to die for and everything comes piping hot to the table. If youre looking for authentic italian food at a moderate price and excellent service I highly recommend this restaurant, you wont be disappointed.
The food was good as was the service. Nothing too special or mind blowing just your classic Italian family food and large portions. I had the famous fish fillet which was definitely good but nothing out of the ordinary if you ask me. Everybody there was very friendly, a member of my party had a problem with her food and they quickly replaced it without hesitation and didnt charge for it. Since they handled it so well I not only havent counted it against them, but I wont specifically mention the problem (which was minor, believe me).
Excellent house Italian dressing. We had the chicken parm and carbonara. Huge portions, delicious sauce. I chose my dessert as a second pineapple martini! Strong 💪 drinks! My partner had the PB chocolate tarte. (that I stole a bite of and it was so worth it!). Our waitress was down to earth and a treat to be served by. Well be going back!
Wonderful experience! The food was so good and a lot of it! Our service was so perfect. She never forgot us and after each course, she was there with the next. And it got extremely busy after we sat down. Not your mamas meatball was fantastic!Well be back, and hope we get the same chef and waitress!
Love to eat great prepared fresh food then be sure to stop in soon. For a two decades we have loved the food as have the many friends we have entertained. Parking is ample and well lighted The staff are knowledgeable and will tell you about menu items. Try the 9 item sample platter and you will discover numerous favorites for your next visit
I went with my mother and my wife . the live music wad good. But the food was some of the worst food Ive had at any restaurant. My wife and my mother had spaghetti it was very bland the meatballs are horrible. I had pasta with alfredo sauce it wasnt bad but it definitely did not taste homemade it seems like a pasta was just out of a freezer bag and they poured alfredo sauce out of a jar , now I dont know if thats true but thats what it tasted like. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant for food. If youre just going to listen to some live music and have a few drinks then it would be fine.
The hostess put us in the most undesirable table and walked away without saying anything. The dining area smells like bad sewer and you only get two small meatballs for a whole order of spaghetti and meatballs. It seems that they don’t take kindly to interracial couples at their business. We definitely felt the coldness. NEVER GO there!
Service is friendly and reasonably fast, salads and soups are fantastic. The pasta is homemade and is something to remember! The creamy tomato basil sauce and their house dressing are also fantastic, and if you like stuffed hot peppers, this is a good place to get them--served with bread and red sauce, of course.....Chicken Milanese and $6 lunch specials are also great!
The restaurant business is a rapidly changing industry which keeps me interested in finding the best places to eat. I am sad to say that this, I’m sure, once great Italian restaurant is failing to alter its menu and style with the industry. At the bottom of the menus there is a little strip that shows off an award from 1997. 22 years was your last award rightfully so. The service was very friendly and excellent but the meal I had was not as pleasant. The menu was so big that I had settled for a fish FRY because I could not decide between all the unappetizing options. You may be wondering why I used all caps on the word fry, it’s because when my fish arrived at my table it was breaded not battered like almost any other fish fry is. I was immediately disappointed when I saw it then I bit into it it was dry, rubbery, tasted like it had been frozen quite a few times and just tasted plain out bland and old. Don’t even get me started on how many options there were for chicken and veal one option was baked fish and they don’t tell you on the menu what kind of fish it is. The chef, manager, and owner should all go out to eat at places like olivers and jt’s urban Italian to see what an Italian restaurant should be like nowadays. The standards have clearly dropped since 1997 and it shows!
From the second we walked in we could smell some horrific smell of the sewer. Smelled like the sanitation sewer was backing up. Could smell it at our table as well. Asked the server for a straw for my water, was told they only give straws to kids. The food is great which is too bad because it was hard to enjoy over the bathroom stench.
This was my first time at Lebros restaurant. They dont take reservations for only two people but we were seated right away. The restaurant is in a big blue house. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered veal francaise with spaghetti and salad. My son had veal parm with fries and salad. It was delicious. I liked this place very much.
Weve heard good things and had been there once many years ago.We were all sick after. All had different meals. All 4 of us had bad bellys for that night and the next day. 2 of the 4 vomitted that night. We cant make a correlation except that we all ate there.Beside that, the service was slow at the beginning. It got better. The waitress was nice/kind. The prices are ok - 1/2 portion was small for 9ish dollars. We arent going back -- it was only thing we could pinpoint to all being sick after.
Love this restaurant, everytime my family visits me while Im at school we head here! Just minutes from UBs North campus with a nice family atmosphere and great food! Very well priced for what you get and awesome service too! Favourites are the spinach salad, meatballs, ravioli, and meat sauce. They have great sauce here and the pumpkin ravioli special is to die for!! Great daily deals as well! Love this place 10/10! Well done!
Worse hamburger ever... I said med-well.. it was burnt and the fries were burnt cold and greasy... I am on a gluten-free diet because of my allergy to wheat so there really wasnt anything that I could eat at this restaurant. Only went out with family as in a short reunion... not impressed at all with the restaurant dont like the layout. Didnt like the smell of the food no I would never go there again
Home town Italian restaurant that is award winning. Small bar with good Happy hour food. Fast pace eatery that has a smokey adult feel. Fairly priced and fast service takes the edge off of eat it and beat it small dining room. Turn around is the name of the game so be ready to order.Im a Thursday calamari in spicy sauce guy but several veal dishes are hard to turn down.Close to the 990 and adequate parking.
Maybe it was what I ordered but I wasnt impressed. I got the Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The meat was so dry. Not at all what I was hoping for. Also, I was there with a group and we were put into the front area and it was super loud. Sound seemed to carry worse in that room than in other areas of the restaurant.
The house dressing is amazing, take a bottle home. FREE happy hour chicken wings. The fish fry is crispy with italian breadcrumbs, is fairly light and very unique. Cheap, fast, super family friendly. My bro lebro I love you bro. Bro, keep up the good work going on 20 years plus.
First time at Lebros. I had their breaded fish fry w/fries, slaw. Ordered a dinner salad to start. Giving only 3 stars. The house dressing is delicous, but the fish fry had no flavor at all! Even the lemon slices didnt help & the Cole slaw was bland, not rea k ly a slaw sauce on it. Very disappointed in the fish fry. But I did see pasta dishes being served that looked fabulous. Place was nice & wait staff very friendly. We decided we would come back again, only to try a pasta dish. Hopefully I can post a better rating..
Every meal has been excellent. From fish fry, veal/chicken parm, fried chicken, chicken in the basket, veal cutlet, calamari, mussels, clams casino, spaghetti, soups salad, etc., etc.. Well made drinks. And the best waitresses in the industry.. My favorite place for a good meal........
A very quaint and historic family run italian restaurant located inside a house. Can be easy to miss if you dont know what youre looking for. I had the $6 dollar lunch deal thats dine in only. Got the Chicken Milanese with arugula salad. The arugula was very flavorful, tossed with plenty of dressing and parmesan cheese. The grape tomatoes were fresh and plump. The chicken was freshly fried and also very moist, albeit a bit small but an awesome deal for $6 dollars.I also got an eggplant parm entree to go with their special house meat sauce with a side of italian vegetables (stir fried chicory). Their entrees come with bread, soup/salad and a choice of side. I got the minestrone soup but they forgot to pack that in so I didnt get to try it.The eggplant parm was just okay, there was a lot of breading and barely any sauce. I will be coming back for their lunch specials in the future though. They also home make their pasta fresh, which is pretty awesome.
When the food is good its great. But its wildly inconsistent. Ive been going here for most of my life. And it was my go to Italian restaurant, but I dont think Ill be returning anytime soon. Ive sent things back more times here than at any restaurant, which I HATE doing.
Our office had lunch catered from this restaurant a little over a week ago. We had received Chicken Picata and roasted vegetables along with individual dessert pieces and pop. The chicken was under cooked yet somehow dry at the same time. It seriously lacked flavor as it seemed the kitchen staff broiled a pan of chicken breasts and sent them on their way as is. No sauce, no salt, no flavor! The vegetables left a lot to the imagination as far as taste goes. They were slimy and went perfectly with the chicken as they has absolutely no flavor to them as well. Apparently ol Lebro cooks from a no-sodium menu. The dessert--which was almost too small to even see, was decent but a mouse wouldve wanted more after finishing a piece of the cheesecake. If you decide to order from this place, make sure you enjoy bread and butter because it is the only thing there to fill you up. Not wanting to be rude and seem ungrateful for the lunch provided, most of us had to sneak out of the office to get some real food during break! After much conversation about this awful meal a few co-workers and I decided to look up the menu and see how much this disaster of a meal would cost. OUTRAGEOUS- is the only word that comes to mind. Some poor soul dropped almost 200$ on this catastrophe. I also found it hilarious that Lebros charges 1$ PER FORK. What a mess. I have never been to the actual dining establishment, but after this horror I have decided that I never will.
Good service terrible food. Gave this place a try to twice. First time ordered the chicken parmesan was super watery the mozzarella must have been low fat or something because the cheese had a weird consistency. the chicken was strange it didnt even seem like it was real chicken. it was awkwardly tender almost seemed like I was eating tofu chicken or something. This time I tried the haddock fish fry. The fish was gooey and just had a really weird texture with no firmness whatsoever. I couldnt even finish it so I sent it back and just got some spaghetti. the staff is great there really good with your children but unfortunately there food recipes are not very good.
Two words, HOMEMADE SAUCE! The food is DELICIOUS! Large portions, great selection of entrées from pasta, sandwiches, salads, and the desserts are hands down...sinful.My husband and I went recently and ordered the garlic cheese bread as an appetizer. We both order whole pasta dishes. He got the Baked Lasagna and I got the Crab Ravioli w/ Creamy Tomato Sauce which come w/ either soup or salad. Their house dressing is so creamy and rich, a golden poppyseed, youll want to dip everything in it. We also got two glasses of wine and our bill was around 60ish after tip. A couple could eat well between 25-50 at this place. You will have to-go boxes, I promise. My only complaint is the dining rooms are quite snug, but candle lit and very intimate. ITS A MUST, if you love Italian food!
If you work in a Drs office you probably know you get the same dried up chicken and ravioli that is horrible. Now imagine what its like working in a office for 16 yrs and getting the same crappy lunch from Labros from the same drug reps FOR 16YRS. Heres a word of advice CHANGE YOUR DAMN MENU FOR DRUG REPS STOP OFFERING THEM THE EASIEST CRAP FOR YOU TO MAKE JUST TO GET IT OUT THE DOOR AND MAKE A BUCK. ITS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

2022-01-29While traveling we are always looking for the local gem. This was it, packed parking lot. We were able to get seated right away, bonus, by the friendly staff. The waitress was quick to take drink orders and answer questions. The house salad dressing was amazing! The homemade pasta was very good, but the sauce lost me. The famous meat sauce had lots of meat for sure, but was very sweet. Different style than what Im use to at home. For me, not enough flavor, seemed to be missing the garlic, onion and spice. The spaghetti Parm was just melted cheese over the pasta. They were expecting something different. Italian is different all over, like in Italy, this was just not my cup. I do recommend trying it for yourself!

2022-05-23Staff was super friendly but the food was definitely below par especially for the price. Honestly, the chicken smelled like dog food and all the food that my family got looked like something I could cook at home but better. I ended up taking the chicken home thinking that it mightve been me. But I just bit into it and it was completely pink in the middle. PINK. Im just wondering what would have happened if I ate my food in the restaurant how sick I would have been. Towards the end of our mean the restaurant started to smell reallllyyyy bad like i almost threw up a couple time and had to leave. Definitely not worth your money go somewhere else.

2021-12-24Beware of the Daily Specials. Some only apply to eating at the bar! Got charged full price for wings when they were only 75¢ at the bar. 8 feet away! Most nights Service is spotty and chaotic at best. Poor floor management. Also, most of the entrees are overrated and expensive. Wont go back.Look elsewhere for better food and value...

2021-12-07Not sure what happened but I had a terrible experience here. Getting seated (party of 4) took about 10 mins which is typical for a Saturday night but when we got to out section there were only 2 other tables seated and 6 open tables in the area. We got our drinks fairly quick then 3 other tables got seated and took about another 10 minutes to order after food was placed it was an additional half hour+ to get a burger, a salad and a hot Cappacola sandwich. My wife got about halfway though her salad when she found a long dark colored hair in her salad, Which then made her and myself lose our appetites. Not sure i would eat here again.
