Great drinks. Pleasant garden, at least when not too crowded. (Dont come for the food)
I really love this bar. The cocktails are reasonably priced for the area, and they have a number of beers on tap and in bottles. Also the dumplings are INCREDIBLE. There isnt a TON of space but they do have a backyard area so if the weather is nice that isnt a problem.
Ive been here with close friends, acquaintances, and dates, and it never fails to deliver. They have a selection of about 15 beers on tap (many of which are Brooklyn-brewed) and the cocktails are always great as well. However, the best thing about this place is definitely the ambiance -- floor to ceiling wood paneling, nice warm lighting, and a chill, romantic back room if youre looking for a more intimate experience. One of the best bars in Bushwick for conversation/ambiance!
I was so pleasantly surprised by the sweetness of the bartender, The ambience, and the affordability is this place. The happy hour drink special was simple and cheap without any headache-inducing sugar filler, which is rare. The best part: the outside seating is a gut-punch of charm and comfort that really transports tipplers to where they want to be.

Stumbled into this bar by chance, or perhaps fate. My party took seats at the bar, where we remained planted for several hours in conversation with the bar tenders, other patrons, and ourselves. We ended up blowing off our prior-arranged plans for the night across town rather than abandon the comfort we found here. Strong pours at an agreeable price, if you still need further convincing after those words of praise.
Really good vibes here. Was visiting Brooklyn and stumbled upon this place. Great drinks and staff, everyone attending helped create a great experience. You can also charge your phone at the bar, which is nice when youre using your phone a lot in a new city.
Best bar in the hood, hands down! First, the bartenders are all great: friendly, fun, easy going, and serving up super good cocktails. Second, this place is super cozy, homey, and always filled with good folks having a good time. Third, its all about that vintage sound system! Vintage EPI 100s pumping good tunes. So if you dig sound, come give a listen here. Forth, get their dumplings! Delicious. Finally, say hi to Evan for me if hes behind the bar. Heart of gold that guy has.
This seemed like a great place to bring a date.The decor is out of this world, makes you feel like you are in an ark or some kind of wooden capsule. Very rustic. Very chic.Also - the place is not terribly expensiveA word of caution : it is cash only so come prepared or eat the ATM fee.Bathrooms are very clean.
Tasty burger, comes with a bag of chips for 12 bucks. Plugs for phones under the bar. Nice bartenders. Kitchen open til 2 am which is great
Walked past here randomly and decided to go in for glass and wine and dumplings. It was a great discovery. Cozy backyard and super friendly staff, and the dumplings were delicious. If I lived over here Id definitely come here on the reg.
Good drinks, friendly bartender and there is a taco pop-up that served the best vegan tacos (it was on a Tuesday).
There are bars and there are bars. This spot is definately the latter. The pours are generous, the bartenders are friendly, and the clientele is slightly more attractive than any other spot in Brooklyn. Watch out, before you know it you too may become a regular.
Really love this place. Owners definitely put a lot of thought into all the details and it all works. Cozy, nicely designed space with decent sized back yard. Menu is limited but everything I have had there has been really tasty.

Probably my favorite neighborhood bar in Bushwick. Very cozy and chill, definitely makes for a good date spot! They also have bar shack, and cocktail selection is pretty solid!
Great happy hour special and good beer selection, especially cozy in the back with the heater on and wifi for a laptop if nobodys around. And the bar has usb charging points so I can just chill alone on my phone with a drink

Preface: I had accidentally dropped my wallet in the Uber over and was waiting for the driver to come back (20-30minutes). When I went up to the bouncer I explained what happened and politely asked to just stand next to him because it was pouring rain outside. Rather than being remotely understanding, he refused to let me do so and told me to go outside (as it continued to pour rain). Such a horribly experience right off the bat. Will never go back or send a dime there. :(

Very good cocktails and beer list (although quite short there is something for everyone) - the staff is always nice and helpful! I love the decor, it is very unusual. In the background a small room with tables - quieter than the bar area. And a great backyard with benches and a few small tables. Definitely one of my favorite bars!
Great selection of Brooklyn and NY beers. Friendly bartender and wide choice of cocktails. Special atmosphere and unique interior. Good place for a drink or to sit with a group of friends. It is recommended to sit at the bar or in the garden. Nice visitors and not touristy.
Good tacos!Although I gringaron my tacos with lettuce, tomato and cream. The tacos were delicious! I know that next time I will tell the person in taking the order onion and cilantro no more. And the lemon!Super recommended the place.

2022-06-01My favorite bar in Bushwick. Cozy and warm vibes with a backroom and backyard as well, the cocktails are strong but skillfully mixed. True cocktail lovers, this place lets you satisfy at a really reasonable price point.

2022-03-05This was my Cheers of Bushwick when I lived in the neighborhood. I even worked a summer barbacking between jobs. I always have a good time here and a great conversation with at least one stranger!

2016-07-23Really nice ambiance, they always play great music, friendly staff, and they have a good selection of mostly local brews. My girlfriend and I love to go for happy hour and sit in their backyard patio in the summer time. We always have a great time.Also the dumplings are great, a little pricey for what you get but really tasty. I hear the cocktails are tasty as well but I havent tried many.
