I really have to give credit where credit is due and we had a really nice time. The rooms are a nice size, very clean, there were plenty of staff members present- I never felt that they were struggling to keep staff. The events ran smoothly, everyone was friendly, and did I say clean? They even opened the amusement park for e hours for us which was a total bonus and completely unexpected. We went for the sleepover series so I felt we got a great value overall. I have a gluten allergy and they did make me a special dinner each night (the food could use some improvement though) but overall they get 5 stars and I highly recommend a visit!
Booked a two-day vacation package for about $1,000. We read about all the reviews saying how crowded it is during the weekends, so we chose to check in on a Friday. There was barely any wait for the rides. We get to go on the rides that my daughter likes multiple times. There are definitely more people on Saturday, but it wasnt bad. My daughter still gets to go on some of the rides she likes multiple times. The food wasnt bad. My wife is picky, and she likes their brisket. But $27 is just a little overpriced. We had a great time, but we just feel that everything here is overpriced.
It is a fun place for both adults and kids. I wish there are more big trees around the park so I can escape the bright sunshine. But overall it is a fun place to visit. If you can bring your own food, it will saves you a lot of time to wait on line to buy food. If you get in early, go all the way to the end of the park first. Play the rides at the end of the park first and work you way out back to the entrance, that will save you time wait on line for the rides because everyone is waiting on line for the rides near the entrance when they get in.
I took my 7 year old, Although some parts of the park is still under construction, The park is super cute and fun. The park is small and you should be able to experience the entire park in just 1 day, but the ride operators are horrible. Each line we stood in was for at least an hour, even short line rides, simply because the transitions between rides are smoothly and the ride operators have absolutely no experience. For example: Sesame place is way more crowded and lines move way quicker. I’ve been to many parks much bigger and was able to explore the park in 1 day. I’d recommend going for 1 day just for the experience but I’d rather spend money on a more organized park that my kid can actually enjoy. This park can be explored in 1 day, no need to stay at the hotel it isn’t a 2 day park.
Myself, my two young children, and my parents stayed the weekend 3/4/22 - 3/6/22 for the sleep over series. Over all we were very pleased with everything. My children had an amazing time and that is all that matters. Checking in was easy and a staff member was right there asking if they could help with our bags. Every staff member we passed or spoke to was so nice and helpful. They were enthusiastic and helped make the stay magical for the kids. The elevators were awesome and the kids absolutely loved the little dance party 🥳. The room (pirate theme) was awesome and we all enjoyed the treasure hunt! Friday night the fire alarm went off at 1 AM and Saturday it went off at 6 AM. Although this was a little inconvenient I was very impressed with the staff. Staff members were located in the halls and at all doors leading to the stairs. They did an amazing job keeping guests calm and directing people where to go. It was nice to see that they were all able to stay calm and make sure everyone is calm, safe, and out of the building. I was upset to see other guests getting nasty to the employees because it was not their fault 😤. Also this is a new hotel there is going to be some kinks in the systems!! I spent my money and as a single mother I dont have much but being inconvenienced for 1 hour out of your stay doesnt mean the whole trip was wasted. This stay was amazing and they even opened the park to us for a little and the kids were so excited to get on some rides!! This was a very successful trip.. Great job Legoland and thank you for everything!
We loved Legoland! The New York location opened in 2021 so it’s new and clean. We brought our four year old which was the perfect age to visit. We visited on a Wednesday to beat the crowds. We got day passes and stayed the entire day. The rides are really fun but not too overwhelming. The staff from the parking crew to the restaurants and cleaning workers were all so friendly and polite. It’s so worth taking your kids here for a memorable experience. I recommend buying tickets in advance for a small discount than at the gate.
Great park fun rides for young children. I recommend that the youngest child be at least 3 feet tall to truly enjoy a good amount of rides. I would recommend the park owners to install cool down zones particularly on the long winding walk paths, take inspiration from universal. Add more shade, fans even water sprinklers. Food is what can be expected of an amusement park. Not bad.
Had a really nice time! Only 4 instead of 5 because no microwaves in the rooms. Really need that. Please add! Rest was well run and comfortable rooms. Very nice and helpful staff. Also park seriously needs more shade! We went on a Friday in early June with little to no wait times on most rides so that was good!Note for families with little ones - you cant hold your baby on your lap on rides made for young ones. We were sitting on a bench seat on the merry go round with a gate to get into it and 17 month old could not sit on our lap - you can hold babies on you lap on rides safe and made for children at Disney -so whats up legoland??
We had such high hopes for the park. We’ve been looking forward to going for months. However you can tell the park is new and can’t handle the crowds. Rides kept breaking down or having technical glitches causing them to close for extended periods of time. This made wait times on the rest of the rides go up drastically. I would also suggest the park is really meant for kids under 8. Kids will age out of the rides and excitement quicker than you’d expect. The food was pretty decent but majorly overpriced for what you get. The best restaurant hands down was the barbecue. We got the three meat combo and shared it with our whole family. We bought the refillable cup, which sounds like a good deal. However most of the refill stations are closed throughout the park making it so you can’t get the free refills they advertised except the one location at the front. There was one staff interaction that was majorly positive from our whole visit. I wish I could remember their name because they were so kind and made us feel welcome at the park. 10/5 stars to the staff talking with my kid about bearded dragons. The rest of the staff were rude. One staff member kicked only us out of sitting in the shade but allowing others to do so. Another staff member scared my kid so bad they cried. The Miniland with Lego models of different parts of the United States was the highlight of the whole park. There were some sections with buttons to make things move. But there were quite a few buttons already broken. For a park so new there are growing pains that shouldn’t be happening this early in the park’s life which makes me think this Legoland won’t last very long. I can at least say we’ve been even if we won’t ever be back, will urge our friends to go elsewhere, and we didn’t enjoy it the way we had hoped.
Great place for families to enjoy for the entire day. The price per person is pretty high so I would suggest looking for coupons before buying. In addition, they do allow you to take light snacks along with water. I highly recommend bringing light snacks with you since there are only a handful of options for Muslims to eat there and even fries are made within shared oil as Chicken. Also, the parking is about $27 as well which is not included in the ticket. Be ready to wait hours on a line for almost every ride. Highly recommend given you have a good deal on tickets...
All i can say is my son had a nice time. The park is amazing super cute, i wasn’t expecting too much because the reviews but imGlad i took my chance and did it. Love the park super clean and staff super kind.I recommend to bring snacks and drinks they are not cheap and not the best taste i tried the burger which i didn’t like. But after that all was perfect. Thank you for making my son feel special it was his birthday.
I took my three children to meet their cousins at LEGOLAND as a special treat. After spending almost $400 between tickets, parking and food, I can honestly say that this was the most miserable entertainment experience my family has had in a long time. We arrived at 11am and left at 4pm. During that time we waited in lines the entire time and only rode ONE ride. The lines were incredibly long, topping out at 70 minutes. After waiting for nearly an hour at the Ninjago ride, the ride broke and we were never able to get on. In addition to my kids and being 7.5 months pregnant, we were with six cousins ranging in age from 5-12 years old. After the ride closed and we waited another obscene amount of time for the roller coaster, I asked staff for suggestions as to how to get my family on rides after having waited so long. I was told to purchase the special reserve and ride pass. This pass costs $55 extra a person. Additionally, the food took over an hour from the time of ordering to receiving. I’ve been to Disney parks many times and even at peak times of the year, I’ve never had an experience like I did today at LEGOLAND. Save your money and your patience. Find somewhere else to go with your family.
Wish the ride attendants were more thoughtful about getting guests on & off the rides quicker. The Carousel ride attendant kept everyone waiting while she had a conversation with some other staff members. Seemed like she was oblivious to the waiting children eager to get on the carousel. Its as if some of the staff members have never been guests at a theme park. We have been to many theme parks and would appreciate some RESPECT and CONSIDERATION for our time. The Carousel should have at least 4 staff members that can help guests with getting on & off the ride quickly.
The wait for each ride was about an hour. No water misters while waiting in the heat. The park had one or two rides that the kids were interested in. All other rides were for like kids 5 and under. We arrive at 10:30 and are leaving before 4 pm. The best part of the park was the Lego sculptures. No water rides. Minimum shaded areas.
Fun for kids, but the lines are awful and made so much worse by the broken rides. Been there twice, and the same machines have been partially broken from the very start of the day (the roller coaster, fire truck, rope climb, and more) which means they’re not repairing after the guests leave. The ride operators are also incredibly inefficient, taking a very very long time to change over riders. Expect to add 30 - 60 minutes to any “expected wait times” listed on the app.To be clear, I visited once over a major holiday and once over a regular day. Same very long wait times. Also, do not buy the fast pass! It’s a complete rip off, doesn’t get riders on much faster than regular riders given the long wait times due to broken seats on rides. The Lego Experience is wonderful, where newly everything in the park is Lego themed and the buildings look like they’re put together by giant Lego pieces.Kids will love the place, but will hate the wait times of up to 2.5 hours for a 45 second ride. (The junior roller coaster).
If you plan to go, buy discount tickets for $46.79. Do not buy tickets at the door unless you want to pay $90. Parking is $27. Kids loved it. It really is for ages 2-10. Food wasnt too overpriced. They dont have a lot to do there. There are some areas still closed. I would have given it a 5 if there was more to do. The few rides they had were fun for the kids. Some rides were closed for no apparent reason. They did have some really cool things made out of Legos.
Great theme park for young children (age 8 and under) as the rides are short and small scaled. Excellent theme park initially but has since become quite crowded so expect long wait times for all rides. Layout was not made to handle high headcounts especially to accommodate the draw from when the hotel opened. Early arrival recommended.
Went here for our sons 3rd birthday and he is still talking about it days later! Great for younger kids there was a lot of rides he could ride. There is a height requirement for some rides. We got a hot dog which was surprisingly good and tried the apple fries which were delicious! Bring water and sunscreen!
Be aware the staff loading the rides work with zero urgency. With all seriousness at least one individual seemed not to be able to grasp basic math. Ride held 24, he counted after every group before admitting the next group. 0 riders on, lets 3 in then went up counted 3 and came back, lets 2 more in... counts 5 then back to let a other 2-3 in.Once they get proper staff and a bit more mature itll be a great place but between staffing challenges for everyone and being a young park it was almost unbearable at times especially with a 6 year old that cant sit still.Food was much better than expected and overall my daughter LOVED it.
We had the best day today! We were a group of 4 adults and 6 kids. Mobile food ordering was so fast and convenient! Definitely do it. Longest wait for rides was probably 20 minutes… we arrived 10 minutes prior to opening and walked on ninjago and dragon coaster. I lost my sunglasses two day prior in the castle area, Adrianna from dragon coaster said she saw them and they went to guest services. Delilah at guest services remembered seeing them went to the back and came out with them. They were expensive and I can’t believe they found their way back to me! I am so happy!
So, were from California visiting my in-laws. I have never been to Legoland until we visited New York. Overall, super friendly staff, clean, roomy, not over crowded, good weather. This is a 5 star park. Im giving a 4 star because the water fountains were down 😔 and the pizza buffet didnt have dessert. Id recommend this park. I did have tons of fun like I was 7 years old 💯👏🏾🥳
It was a great experience to visit Legoland with kids. Most of the adventures recommended for kids from 36 inches. Its too funny, but attraction time is usually less than when you are preparing to start and after you finish 😁.Also Legoland doesnt accept cash anywhere. Be prepared to pay by card only. When you become hungry be ready to order food by phone in case you can complete the 3-4 pages of your personal data. You can choose only junk food for a high price. We can complete almost all of the attractions on weekday. Early bird gets the worm.Parking fee $27 you require to pay before exit.
A great place to visit for the day. My 9 year old daughter loved the whole thing, we started from open to close. My only criticism is the prices for everything was much higher then expecte(food, snacks, drinks and extras) The food was good and people were friendly, the whole park was clean and safe. It is definitely a place I would recommend to for a family. The park is a perfect size to be able to hit all the attractions in one visit.
The hours of the park make it difficult to truly enjoy (10-6). We came on a day that was classified as “a little busy”, and each ride was 40-60 minutes. That means we were only truly guaranteed to get on 8 rides IF we didn’t take time for a lunch break, and IF we didn’t explore the non-ride attractions. The kids had fun, but I thought it was a lot of money for what we got out of our visit.
I took my 3y.o son to Legoland today. He had a wonderful time. The park is good but it is not finished yet. As is it is huge. There are a lot of attractions and a lot to do. We went on a Monday and the place was not packed. Unfortunately, the lines were still pretty long. Each ride is fairly small and in my opinion it does not have enough capacity. I m not sure what happens on a crowded weekend.
Just ending our Legoland weekend. We used the Legoland vacation package. We spent way too much money. They charged us $400 a night for a hotel that if we were to get a room tonight would be $100. It said we would get free parking and we never did. This is my warning if you are going to go through Legoland look yourself first as you might spend way more than you need to.I would have given Legoland more stars if I didnt feel like we over payed. The park was fun, lines were long. But our daughter did enjoy herself. Not sure we would come back but glad she had fun.
Everyone was very nice, friendly and helpful. Park was very clean. Recommend more signage on the drive in about purchasing parking. We saw a lot of cars stuck at exit gate. Also need signs on the drive in about deer crossing. We had a deer on the road on the way out we didnt expect. If possible, adding umbrellas to benches; need more shade. Kids had a great time. Rides were age appropriate and fun. We hope to go back.
This park was beautifully made. The Lego displays are magnificent. But the rest of the experience was pretty terrible. This is probably the most inefficient amusement park I have ever been to. How does a ride line with no more than 40-50 people in it take 75 minutes? Most rides only had one person operating and managing the line. The turnover for lines took forever. Exiting the park is a nightmare. Payment should really be collected at entrance so people could just leave in a timely manner. The park closes at 6pm. 7:15pm and we are STILL in line to exit the parking lot! Ridiculous.
My son had a blast, i had a blast. I went on a weekday and the lines were not bad like SeaWorld. I wish the food we had was better. I ordered the orange chicken with rice, it made me nauseous. I should had just stick to chicken tenders and fries. The workers there are so friendly and helpful. Just follow the rules :)
I am writing to commend Thomas and Israel of your security staff. They made our visit pleasant from the moment we entered your hotel. They assisted us with a wheelchair for my husband and brought him down to the park where we picked up a scooter. We were able to have a wonderful stress free visit to the park with our six grandchildren. At the end of the day, they came back to bring him back to the hotel. They were extremely helpful and made our visit the best ever!
My kids definitely enjoyed themselves and the staff was great! The only issue we had was the king bedding not being changed after I informed them after housekeeping came that morning the linen was dirty with hair and some black residue.Breakfast: included.Breakfast was great! They served something for everyone (literally)! If youre vegan you will still be able to eat. French toast, oatmeal, bacon (turkey included though they could cook it better), pancakes, cereals, pastries, fruit, didnt notice any veggies.Room servicePhenomenal outside of the sheet situation. When you book multiple days you get unlimited bottled water, hot chocolate and juice boxes.PoolWe unfortunately didnt get to visit the pool. Between the pool and park hours it was a bit frustrating navigating and deciding which to do first and when.ParkThe park is a must. Definitely get There as soon as it opens as it closes at 6 PM. Trust me youll need all eight hours to get through the park and some. We will be going back to finish the lower half of the park! I also Recommend starting at the bottom of the park as there seems to be much more to do down there opposed to the top of the park.Extras•Nightly dance party and story time•Daily workshops at The hotel and the park. We did do one at the hotel but prefer the park being that the Instructors come dressed up.• Daily treasure each night, though I highly suggest they at more than two treasures as people stay more than two nights. My kids receive the same Lego items in two days in a row.
It’s a family friendly theme park, especially for younger kids (12 and below). Rides in general are gentle. The park itself opened in May 2021 but somehow some of the rides were experiencing problems—— equipment malfunctions resulting less than full capacity. 1/3 of the disco cups were out of service already. Plenty of food and drink choices. Overall a good getaway place for families with small kids.
I thought the place was fantastic for a 6 year old, but the water park was not built yet it does not look like its going to be done this summer like it says on some of the advertising. The sticker shock is real, to get a photo youre already paying an upfront charge of $25, but if you plan to do other photos you tell them you got something else and they will make it a cheaper price. It doesnt look like they advertise the price of parking which is $25, unless say you order in advance. The only other way youre going to know the parking is that much is when youre exiting you have to pay or show a QR code. I feel thats a little disingenuous to not let you know these upfront costs.I live in the area so its crazy that you cant get the ability to be dropped off with the parking price. I thought I would only spend a couple of hours there but I ended up spending most of the day. If youre staying at the hotel there is pretty good eateries outside of the area there seeing as how the sticker price at the park is expensive. However if youre traveling from out of town you already have these prices in mind so you might as well enjoy it with your family. The mini City that they made was so awesome that I would love to see if they make more.
I went here over the weekend with my kids and they really enjoyed it. My oldest daughter was very upset she lost her toy unicorn and one of the employees named Rose helped her and even gave my daughter her mini figure which she thought was so cool! We later went on the ninjago ride where the employee Dawn there helped us, showed us what to do, the best way to use our ninja skills and showed us her best ninja skills my son thought it was hilarious! Even though these interactions were brief, they still really made my kids happy. We also all loved the apple fries and taking pics with the characters. Can not wait to bring them back when the splash pad opens!
Update-My husband was able to get help with our tickets. Kristen from Guest Services was so efficient, and she even gave us some extra perks for the hard time. Though we have an issue getting into my husbands email now to retrieve the new registration I am sure Kristen or someone else will get back to me and send us the information. It is good to see that they want to provide a good customer service experience and make up for the unfortunate situation we had at the park.As soon as we are able to get help with our tickets, I will change my experience. Here is why I am giving this place a 1 Star. They have no customer service number, and when they answer your emails it takes 10 days. Seriously!! This is terrible! We have been trying to enter the park with our tickets and reschedule a day and today we got turned away without any help. We drove 2 hours only to be turned away with our children because the park was too crowded. When we asked If we could reschedule for tomorrow they told us no to just show up.What happens when we show up tomorrow, will we have to go home with two disappointed children who have been looking forward to this for months now? You guys have to do better for your customers this is unacceptable.
Park is definitely suited to younger aged kid. My 9 year old was less than impressed and he loves legos. Lines are terrible long and rides are supper short. We have waited in lines for 6 hours for 6 rides that lasted a total of maybe 10 minutes. If your child is over 5-7, dont waste your money! Only reason its not a one star is the mini land of New York City and other areas was very nice.
We stayed in October of 2021. The hotel rooms were great however every item of food we had was awful and not worth it. Food was disgusting compared to the FL resort. The breakfast buffet food was basic and mostly overcooked. The dinner was served cold and had a weird taste to it. We also waited about an hour for it to be served. The kitchen was way behind. The parks were great after you got in. Getting in was a pain. If you pay for tickets online then you should be able to just go up and get them scanned to go into the park. Instead you had to wait in lines and most lines were slow and had problems getting people in.I feel the park could also do with more signage or staff directing people. For example the doors to the Palace Cinema were locked and many people walked up trying to get in. But they were locked because they were between shows. There were no signs to relay that or staff to tell people. Same with the Breakfast Buffet. They want you to seat yourself but no signs to say that. There were many people standing waiting to be seated.Overall it was a good stay but small things needed to be improved upon. They need to rethink their food options completely.
What more can be said about Legoland NY? Its perfect for Lego fans. Its targeted to kids 3 -14 years of age. The BBQ restaurant had very tasty food albeit price (as theme park food always is) expect 45min or longer waits for all rides. Kids had a total blast. On sunny days Id suggest bring an umbrella because youll be under the sun a LOT. Will def go back.
Went for the latest Sleepover Series to celebrate our daughters 8th birthday. There were several activities for the kids as well as a play place, building stations, arcade, little Lego shop, and a bar for the adults. While it is a little expensive for an overnight trip, both buffets were included with our stay and the themed hotel was a really unique experience.Theyve also taken some suggestions from the reviews here regarding the buffet like double lines for dinner, and servers bringing your drinks, etc.Overall we enjoyed our stay and once the pool/splash area is open it will add value to the price tag. We do plan on coming back next year once everything is up and running! Thank you!
My 5 and 6 year old had a great time. Due to the holiday there were a lot of people there, but LegoLand is huge. Plenty of room and so many things to do and see. My kids loved the huge models of many cities. They loved the pirate playground and all the rides. The staff were very nice, every employee we encountered were so nice. I recommend the speed pass, we got to the head of the line on all the rides with it. My kids cant wait to go again.
My children love every minute of the stay at the hotel. The dancing dj was great & the story telling in the lobby area was awesome. The park was great, people was very friendly. Lots of walking everywhere. Not too crazy about the food & the high prices. This place is for children not older than 12 or so, but my children who are 8 & 5 love everything about it! Will go back before they get older! 😊
Every time we go, we have a great time! Our kids love the open play areas, Ninjago, the Dragon Coaster and Pirates the most! The regular drink containers are fairly priced compared to other amusement parks as well. When we’ve had questions, we have found attendants are helpful. Managers have been terrific as well, especially Matt/Matty Hunter, who answered many questions my kids had - they are super curious about Legoland and was great with them! Although they have motorized scooters for rent, I’d love to see them put in something on the hill to make it more feasible for older or physically challenged guests. For instance, I have older relatives that would love to join us. They don’t normally require a scooter and the rental is a bit pricey. A friend can do a lot of walking, but uphill can be too much on their knees. They don’t want to use a scooter just for the tail end of the day. If there was a shuttle/extended golf cart running for assistance throughout the day with stops in each section, or something like that, more visitors could truly enjoy the experience. Overall, we are looking forward to seeing what new experiences Legoland offers over time. Have a bricktastic day!
This place will drive you mad. Soft drinks are $6 but you can barely even find them on a hot day. They had no ice cream. 2 of the rides were having issues. Water rides were not in season yet even though it was hot out.Not a lot of options to eat and even the few they have I would not recommend to anyone I like. Prices are outrageous for prison style food. No thanks.
Very cool theme park and had a fantastic time with my family and friends. Lots of cool rides, great for kids. My 1 & 3 year olds had a blast! Factory ride was actually pretty impressive and lots of fun, better than expected. The park is super clean and the staff were all very friendly, the ones in the build and test spot and builders guild were really great and seemed to enjoy interacting with the kids and showing them how to build. Also felt very safe, everywhere I looked I saw security and EMTs walking around. Food is okay, the true standout were the apple fries, other than that it just standard theme park food, feel like they need more standout/creative options. We went on a Saturday so I’m sure it was busier, but it seems as though the load and unload procedures for the rides are very inefficient and cause such a delay, they need to improve on this. All in all, great, fun place and I look forward to going back
Fantastic for kids. Our 4 year old loved it.Get ready for alot of walking, we did almost 18k steps. Our 4 year old spend most of the time in her stroller, it would have been impossible for her to walk this much. Not much shade either in between attractions, today was mid 70s, I can see this being very tough for grandparents especially on hot days.
I went w 4 kids, 3 to 7. Kids had fun. That is most important. Checked the box. I would say ride wait times are way too long. 30 min plus….. Not enough rides for the amount of people. Maybe w water park opening in the summer it will be better. Staff is inefficient, takes too long in between the rides. They however, ver pleasant. Not worth the $90 ticket IMO.
I was very excited when I arrived and was very disappointed when I had left. The food was way overpriced and wasnt all that great. Staff in the hotel took about an hour just to get us in our room. Hardly anything to do in the hotel but the rooms are definitely one of the best rooms in hotel history. Loved that kids got legos in the room to play with and had there own personal room with their own personal TV. There was no phone in the room and the google assistant wasnt helpful to contact the front desk which was one of major flaws in the room. Unfortunately they are VERY understaffed and slightly unhelpful. The pool which was advertised as open on the website was closed for no reason, looked clean and ready. Even had someone cleaning the pool every so often. The people at the front desk werent the best, and people had started to yell at them due to them not having enough towels for people, but tons of washcloths and even then, they made false promises to the people about getting them towels and/or their room cleaned. Cleaning crew didnt clean our room even when we put out the sign saying we wanted it cleaned. The walk to the park was a very long walk.Half the rides in the park were closed and staff had even said they were understaffed and overworked. One ride was open one day but closed the next, which was unfortunate. The lines were horrible and it took nearly 30 min just to get halfway though the line, and the ride was short and not worth the wait.I went during the summer and havent been back since, I do hope stuff has gotten better here because otherwise, it was a decent trip, just not worth the money.
My kid loved it! The prizes are pretty easy to win. They have all sections of different themes which was cool. Staff was impeccable, food was pricey but that’s expected at any theme park. The Lego structures were impressive. My only gripe is the rides. We had to wait over an hour for most so if you have smaller children we all know kids don’t have the patience to wait lol they do offer like a speed pass for rides but it was like $55 a person which is almost the equivalent of a park pass. Besides that, we had an awesome day.
The line waits were insane. The rides literally last 4 min and I wait in lines for over a hour. The next thing is exiting the park. Complete nightmare. They should have a separate exit line for season pass holders so they dont have to wait. It should also be mandated that you have to pay for parking when you purchase the tickets. Half of the people dont know how to use the machines and it took forever to get out. I think the longer they are open and the all of the building gets done it will be better. They also should have signs in the rows of the parking lot so you know where you park.
I took my nine year old and five year old. Honestly I think it’s more suited for younger children. There was one roller coaster that my oldest loved and I thought was pretty fast for a kids ride, other than that I’d say it’s more for toddlers or 4 and under. The bigger kids seem to be over it after a few rides. Good place to check out though plenty of walking around you have to do so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. I visited the bbq place near the entrance and I must say the food was very good. I’m actually surprised how good it was (although expensive). Overall I wouldn’t bring the older kids back maybe to the hotel but that’s about it.
The rides are great and often fun for younger kids but dull for children 13+. I would definitely recommend going if you have small children. The staff are also great and extremely helpful; never hesitating to help your family. The park itself is a little bit on the smaller side of amusement parks but still plenty of fun for small children.
We got complementary tickets to visit Legoland NY when we went last November, so we decided to go on Easter Sunday. The lines were a long but wasnt too bad. The park has improved quite a bit since November, with added stairs in miniland. The new water park section is coming in the summer so it will have more activities for the kiddos to enjoy! We will definitely be back again soon!
Its good to have a theme park in upstate NY but if you have the option to go to LEGOLAND Florida instead of this then do it. Although the park is big and have a plenty of rides, its nothing compared to Floridas one.In Florida it took us four days to do all rides. At this park all rides can be done in half a day! So we didnt really enjoyed it after exploring the Floridas one.Oh, make sure you try Grannys fries! Its only offered at the theme parks and its so yummy.
Stayed for a weekend and overall loved it. The energy and fun is everywhere! The castle and lego sculptures were great. On the negative side the hotel pool was way too crowded and the bottom of the pool was tearing up our toes. Wish there were more places to hangout then just the lobby as the lobby was very loud and hectic. The rooms could also do with more storage spots there is just open shelves and nothing in the bathroom besides the counter top and half was taken up by the towels. We had a great time at the park my kids enjoyed trading minatures with the staff. We also had minimal wait times for most rides. The food was a bit lacking but for a theme park not surprising. Wish the food stalls had not closed before the park closed as we were looking for a snack on the way out and missed our opportunity. The staff across the whole resort is amazing and customer service was top notch!
We traveled from West central NJ and it was worth it!!!We had a very excellent amazing good time at this Legoland went there for the first time with our entire family and had a blast. There was only one downside they have very horrible food selection I wouldnt even call it food selection but other than that kids loved it we had fun also.It would be very cool if they had those big giant turkey 🍗 🦃 🦵 lol like the ones in Disney Florida.Highly recommend this Legoland to everyone.
We just visited Legoland NY because we were looking for a close resort. The rooms were immaculate and had plenty of room for myself and grandchildren. Despite the freezing temperatures, they notified us that they would be opening some of the rides in the top park to hotel guests which was not expected! Everyone was friendly. Food was okay but wish they had more choices for my picky eaters. That being said, we had a great time!
Went for the first time on fathers day with my 3 year old son. Had a great time and he was able to do all but 2 rides due to him being tall for his age Rides were fun but long wait times of 20 mins to over an hour on certain rides. I would recommend for families with older kids like 6+ to get the full enjoyment or if you have a child that is 36 or close to it to be able to go on must the rides. All in all was there for over 7 hours and definitely got my moneys worth in enjoyment and standing in lines lol. Would definitely go again when eater park opens in August. We had the most fun in Pirate Land and each world had a playground for toddlers to run and play on.
Great experience for my kids aged 6 & 9. Had a blast. Went during the weekday. Food parking and gifts were expensive, to be expected at amusement park.Pros:Found b1g1 coupons onlineMuch larger park than expectedKids had a blastEmployees were scooping and washing Legos regularly in the bins.Good balance of rides and play spacesRides were a good level for my kids (not quite thrill rides)The employees throughout the park were incredibly friendlyThe food was better than expected for amusement park food.Hotel is so close to the park.Fun features all around the parkCons:Tried to book the hotel and were unable to get any nights at all this summer.Hard to get from one land to another. Lots of windy roads and people walking on the grass to get there quicker.Long waits for ridesCustomer service unable to assist when I had a challenge.Park only open from 10am-6pm in June. We wish they were open later.A lot of miniland features were broken. Its too bad, that area is so cool!Rides are so short compared to the long wait times.
OVER RATED.TERRIBLE FOOD.The arcade is tiny only claw games. This place is a color and lights show, looks awesome and fun but not that much to offer. The food is expensive and taste flavorless. The craziest thing is that the amusement park is only open from 10am-6pm so by the time we traveled to get there, check in, and put our bags in the room its already closing time. It would be nice if they advertised they closed at 6. The nicest thing was the room and it had a scavenger hunt for a code to the treasure chest, which was cute. The staff is nice and the lego sculptures were great.
My wife and I took our 4/8 yo children to Legoland Resort in Goshen, Ny. The amusement park was closed because of the time of year but we all still had an amazing time. The hotel is set up perfectly and the Lego theme is everywhere. Disco music plays every time you enter the elevator and it’s always good time. The best part is the customer service we received from RAY and his team in the restaurant. He was engaging, personable and kind. He made us feel like guests not just customers. The food was pretty good and the bar had all you could want.
This is mainly a kid’s resort so I didn’t expect much. We lined for rides twice and every time it was supposed to be our turn, the ride broke down and we had to wait it out or leave. Some food places also didn’t accept cash but nowadays, that could just be normal. Thought this was going to be a fun experience for kids but ended up waiting hours in lines and riding only one ride so far.
Staying at the hotel for a single night, heading to the park in the AM. Reception Staff was friendly and helpful. Kids are very excited to be here. Bar staff is lacking, waited 40 minutes without being addressed/served. Bar wasn’t busy at all. Had reservations at Brick Restaurant after 8PM, see photo for “medium” burger. Clearly served burger tartar instead. If you plan to stay and eat, get the family style salad and jumbo pizza.
It was a lot of fun. I liked the fact that the theme park is pretty much in one loop which makes it hard to get lost. At the end of each ride is a seperate gift shop which does have different items for each one. We went on a rainy day so there were no lines and we were able to do the whole park with all rides in about 4 hours.
Had free tickets from a friend otherwise think its overpriced. Really cool place though. Not many rides and 2nd half of the park is all walking uphill might be a issue for some. Adults charged as much as kids even though they cant ride much all. Stores on about every ride. Water refill is appreciated though and your allowed to bring your own food which is nice. Parking payment is horrendous. Poor system. Just about every person needed help getting QR codes to scan right from the terminals.
Had a nice time with the crew but boy was it hot and 😎☀️... highly recommended hats, cooling towels, sunglasses and sunblock for hot days. There is a good amount of walking needed to get around the park. landscape is hilly and can be steep at parts. Recommend checking website for disabled and elderly patrons by looking at wheelchairs available for rent at an additional fee.Little to no shade to be found around the park. This was made evident when families had to share the few shaded areas during COVID-19. Bring sunblock!!!Another area for improvement is signage. There was lack of signage between attractions other than the main road and the stairs that cut from the top to bottom of the park.Signage between exhibits should be made clearer on floor and posts. There is also no signage on the Lego exhibits themselves this is unlike the Legoland in Orlando, Florida which provides details about the build letting you know how many Legos and workers hours were put into creating these master builds!Parts of the park are still under construction and a water park that was much needed was still not open but will offer some much needed relief during the upcoming summer season. No sprinklers or misters to be found anywhere around the park including fans for lines for patrons and own park staff. Heat exhaustion was evident in both children and adults. The park does offer water fountains with water bottle refill throughout the park. The 4D Movie Theater offered relief with water splashing and wind blowing effects.... even though the movie was not working with the 3D glasses it offered a nice break from the walk and cool down for the family. Most food stands are outdoors and offer limited seating options. The pizza buffet was air conditioned and offered needed shade.Prices were reasonable. Check out website to buy parking, drinks and souvenirs ahead of time.
I visited the theme park last year without staying at the hotel and my kids did like it. We decided to book a couple weeks ago with a hotel stay and I had issues during the checkout. I didnt see the trip protection or bypassed it because it kept reloading the page. Not even sure what the cost is for this protection, but their customer service doesnt care that there was an issue. I had an unexpected surgery and just wanted to change the date of our stay. I just booked it two weeks ago and just wanted to change the dates so this was my first time actually speaking to someone. We were going at the end of June so this was by no means a last minute cancellation. They were rude and didnt care, and you can see that they are trained to say sorry we cant do anything for you if you didnt add the trip protection. I see that others that even had the trip protection still had to pay something if they wanted to cancel. This is bad business and I will be reporting them to the better Business bureau, and I will put out a press release regarding their policy and their culture. Its extremely expensive to begin with for what they offer and the lack of caring for potential reoccurring customers is mind blowing to me.
What was good: clean, friendly, not super crowded. What needs improvement: customer service is anemic at best, welcome window in the park is tinted so there is no way to know if there is someone there to assist. Purchasing a park ticket allows for leaving and re-entry but, the parking pass disallows re-entry. So, youd have to pay another parking fee to leave and return with your car.
Not many rides, lines can take a long time to move at most rides, lots of walking and hills and super hot in the summer due to no shading. Good thing about the park is the food is decently priced and good. Not worth the trip from NYC, would rather spend the day at a Lego discovery center.
I wouldn’t recommend staying at the hotel. We didn’t get a very good experience and it is very expensive for what you get. We have waited more than an hour to get our food. We paid for early check-in to get a chance to enjoy the hotel a little more, the staff was rude, no information provided on the activities offered like workshops or animations we missed that part. Pool cabanas are additional charges. At the park they closed the pirate section in front of us at 5:30pm because of a “private event” and we paid full price, this is not acceptable. They are offering a pass to cut the line for a fee which create additional waiting time for those who don’t take it. The price for this pass is very high like almost 100$/pers. They also closed cinema 4D so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy that part too. Overall the kids had fun but the price is way too high for what you get especially when they close some parts and it’s not as big as other famous parks for the same cost.
My husband and I took our son here for his birthday. While my son did have a good time I doubt we would ever return. The maintenance on any of the equipment just wasnt there. Half of the interactive things for kids to play with were broken despite the park being brand new prior to Covid. Prices are outrageous. Its essentially an overpriced permanent carnival. Its much too expensive for what they offer. The only upside was going on a weekday before school is out so not much of a wait for rides and the staff was extremely friendly.
This was a decent experience. It is obviously geared to younger children and my kids did have a good time. However, it is a wildly slow and unorganized process to board and ride the rides. It is not efficient at all, with only one person manning a few of the rides, making the process move even slower. Also when the wait for a ride is 30 minutes, its extremely frustrating that there is a fast pass option for an additional cost! Work a little harder in moving people along, there shouldnt even be this option in a park this small.Everything is non-contact pay and you must order food using a QR code reader. Also annoying if youre a family that chooses to pay cash for an outing like this. Food was mediocre at best and way overpriced.
Hotel stay was fine, kids enjoyed but dont ever go if snowing. They do not plow the road which is a hill and dont care if you get stuck in your vehicle. We went on Saturday during a known storm and they did not plow the road at all which was up a hill. My car ended up sliding down the hill and was left stranded with 3 young kids for over an hour before a plow truck came. When greeted inside no one cared at all about the traumatic experience for the kids being stuck in the car. Do Better!
Hotel and park were exceptionally clean. For having only one restaurant option at the hotel, food choices were lacking and not that good - also very pricey. The lego stores and attractions at the park were all great. There were virtually no wait times on either day we attended the park, so I’m not sure why everyone always complains about waiting. Also, park staff needs to do a better job at keeping unattended a$$clown teenagers off of rides that are clearly not meant for them. My little daughter was exposed to just about every curse word there is while we waited in line for Merlin. Eventually had to say something myself to shut them up.
Whole stay was a complete disaster. From providing false information and not caring you spent your hard worked money. Food was barely edible. We stayed for 3 night (couldnt get a refund) and it was a huge run around. Over packed. Kids got trampled over during events. Highly dont recommend. If you choose a vacation go to another hotel and wait for the park to open!!! Stay safe!
Relating specifically to the theme park, displeased with the cost of food. Example? A $10 plain hot dog. Utterly outrageous. You can (and will) kill a good percentage of your park time waiting on line for rides and attractions. The fact that the park closes at 6:30p only exacerbates the wasted time issue. Some rides had only one attendant doing all the work- checking equipment and seat belts, then back to the booth to operate the ride. This is also killing your actual time spent on rides/entertainment. We wanted to like this place but overall the value return on money spent isnt there.
Kids absolutely loved the sleep over series. The dinner food was not very good. Breakfast was ok. It was very busy. Long lines, and food couldn’t seem to keep up with the lines. The food at the bar was better. But a hard pass on the artichoke dip at the bar.We were there for the holiday weekend, way too many kids to participate in any of the hotel hosted activities. However special access to the park made up for all resort shortcomings.Be prepared to spend a lot at the gift shops and at the hotel bar.Unfortunately did not offer room service.
The rooms are awesome and super child friendly. The in room amenities are nice as well. Getting in touch with the front desk is not easy without texting the number that you only see on the sleeping TV. The buffet is mostly kid friendly food. Plates were not the cleanest. The few activities were packed. Good enough for one night.
The park has a great concept and thelego displays are pretty cool but the lines were the slowest lines Ive ever been in and the rides were extremely short in duration. It was 45 to 60 minutes wait time per approx 2 minute ride. When I got out I was thinking is that it? It was 200 dollars for 2 tickets (one adult/one child) plus parking. Because of the high expense and little we got out of it, we likely wont return. One and done!
Staff are friendly and courteous. The lines for rides are long but not because there are many people but because poor management. The onboarding process of each ride is horrible and the most time limiting step. They could have reduce the lines at least by half if they do a better job.
We had a great time there! We went on Memorial Day, but the wait was not bad at all. The park was big, so we did not really feel too crowded except for the busy afternoon hours at around 1-3 pm. Lots of rides in each section, but definitely check the height requirements before you get on the line. Their staffs were very friendly, however, they did check height very careful and they would send you out if the kid was not tall enough. We were stuck at the Factory Ride for like 10 minutes, but they offered a fast pass to return to the same ride or another ride of our choice on the same day. The longest line we waited on was about 30 minutes wait. Given it was a federal holiday, the wait time was much better than what we expected. Our favorite rides were the Nanjago The Ride, Splash Battle and Driving School. Food and drink were pricy inside, so get the souvenir cup for free refills or bring your own bottle. There were many water stations inside to refill water. Parking was a surprised though. Nowhere nearby the entrance indicated the parking fee when entering the parking lot, but the staffs were standing at each lane to collect $27+ parking fee on the way out. Overall it was a great experience for my 3 lego lovers.
At arrival the park looks small, once you are in there is so much to do. Parking is organized and fast, check out is even faster. We visited on a monday, the park was empty compared to a weekend and that was perfect for my little ones. The park is enjoyable for children and adults.
Three stars just for wait times on rides and food being over cooked but nothing you can do about it place gets PACKED. Want cheaper pricing for weekend tickets go to arestravel.com was suspicious of the site but risked it and bought tickets make sure you reserve with Lego land which was free also buy your parking ticket online save yourself the hassle of a line to leave definitely go EARLY if you want to enjoy the whole park and they don’t accept cash so take a card you don’t mind using. Great time for kids adults have to make the best of it lol 4d shows rides were great and fun for all !
LEGOLAND is a nice place to visit, but I dont see repeat visits in our future. The miniland model area is very cool, but the rest of the park struggles to hold attention. Food is mostly overpriced, even for an amusement park. A hot dog will cost you $10+. And the parking fee is $25 plus tax at a place so remote, that it literally leaves you with no other options. We love LEGO, but I think well stick to their Discovery Centers for day trips instead.
The 5 main rides were closed most of day for different maintenance issues. The app would report rides open when they were closed.Staff is made of seasonal students with no training. The park is spread along large portion of lawn, so you have to walk long distance for no reason..there is no shade at all.So pretty poor experience in general.I do not recommend going and would never go back .
The rides people working very very slowly not faster. Whole day u can take ride only 4 to 5 , only for line it’s take too much time for 1 ride, if u take the ride u can’t do other things or can’t see very well, cinema is very fun & also adventure ride. Mini land also good. Waisting of money it’s better to go six flag.

2022-05-01We had a great time with my 8 and 11yo. Rides are not overwhelming but just right for them. If you can make it early, no wait. We didnt wait for the first two rides at all since we came before the opening time. Otherwise, the waiting time was about 10-25 minutes for most rides, but some can be very long. We noticed those with a long wait were running in an inefficient way. It could be improved there. Other than that, we had a fun time. Also all the staff members were super nice and friendly! We felt very welcomed! Overall, it was much better than I expected. It is worth visiting if you are around the area.

2022-04-21We had an awesome time! I have boys aged 4-14, and all of them had a great time. Staff at the park were wonderful, and the park itself was very clean, including the many bathrooms with multiple family bathrooms at each. The park is fairly new and is still under construction in some places. At its current state, you can probably see and do everything in the park within a day and a half. The most common issue we had was some rides did break down while we were there. Safety did appear to be a priority, as when a ride did break down, staff performed multiple safety checks and test runs before they started letting folks ride again. Food choices were limited and somewhat expensive. Highly recommend the taco and hotdog stands for the best food at the best price. There were also water bottle fill stations around the park. The parking lot was well managed, with multiple staff directing drivers to keep things moving. No markers or signs to remember where you parked, so pay attention. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend Legoland NY.

2022-04-25First off the staff was super polite, very helpful and eager to answer questions. The rooms were cleans and super fun for the kids,. The food was what it was expensive amusement park high school cafeteria grade meals. Now for the park. It was really well done rides were fun. Only if you could get on them every ride had an hour wait so you can really only do 6 or so rides a day which is terrible. Ride operators moved at turtle pace so in order for us to fully enjoy the park we had to spend an extra $400 on reserve a ride. If you have the money get it only way the park is enjoyable we did one with one day without. Paying extra for parking ridiculous, get rid of that. The 4D movies were amazing dont miss these. I dont think we will ever go back due to the ride issues its not worth over $2000 we spent to go much rather do something different.

2022-05-21UPDATED 5/21:I had provided my contact information in the email to Legoland and right as I was pulling into their parking lot they called. The agent was super helpful. I did end up taking an unexpected day off from work because my wife was sick and we could not reschedule the tickets online. This new way of working without direct phone support is frustrating. My son had a wonderful time and its an amazing place for kids. There is so much to do and they are adding even more. We stayed the entire day until they closed. I asked my son what his favorite part was and he said all of it!Original 5/20Good luck if you run into an issue and need to call to talk with someone! Only support is via email with the basic responseOur Model Citizens are actively responding to emails and guests should receive a response within 7-10 business days.I event tried calling the resort...waited a very long long time and no help.Buyer Beware before purchasing tickets...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

2022-05-14Park is great if you have kids between 5-10yrs. Rides are new but sadly they have few cars/seats on each. They really must expand and add more cars to handle guests esp on holiday weekends. The crew was serious about safety but but were slow to operate in some cases. Though we went on a weekend after all spring break ended, we still had to wait longer. However, all rides had shaded wait areas so someone has done good thinking when designing the rides. Lowest point for the experience is the food and beverages. As everyone else has mentioned its superlatively pricey with few options. The miniature monuments area is the underdog, you only appreciate once you are up close to it. Another useless area where you feel undue advantage being taken is parking. I clearly dont see any reason to pay $25. We didnt get to experience the hotel/lodging on this trip. That said, I like how the park has a new feel to itself. While they have tried to create a new theme park, they have miles to go to deliver an experience like Disney parks do. Worth a visit at least once, a day trip is sufficient to cover all rides, but if you are going on a long holiday, might want to check-in in their hotel a night prior !

2022-06-11I was a little hesitant on booking this trip after reading some of the mixed reviews but I can honestly say our experience was amazing and I have no regrets! My son (9y) had the best time of his life! The hotel was unbelievable decorated in all things Lego and fabulous! The pool was open, the food was great, all the little touches and details were phenomenal. Even though the park was a lot of walking on hills - it didn’t even matter. I just wish I didn’t buy the Reserve & Ride because we didn’t even need it. There were no lines on a Saturday in June! Has a great mix of rides for all ages and lord did we spend money on souvenirs! But great mix of items that we can’t buy at home and the prices on Lego products themselves were normal pricing. The Lego sets were not overinflated.

2022-05-29The park is new/clean and easy to walk. However, it was not a good experience as each ride took at least one hour+ of waiting time. There was one ride that took us two hours + to get on. So even though we got there 11:30 and left when park is about to close. We were only able yo manage to get on 4/5 rides total.Couple of issues noted:1) some stations were only filling up customers from express line, I can understand express line has priority; but letting all the riders from express line each time is very unfair to the rest of the customers the regular line.2) like others have mentioned, very inefficient way of running the ride. Some station should have at least two staffs, when there is only one employee, the person is scanning/checking in everyone at the express line, then check in customers from regular line, then check all the seat belt; then go to the office and turn on the ride, finally the person has to manually release everyone from their seats). The actual ride is 2 minutes and under, but takes at least 30 minutes, because it is so inefficiently ran.Even for food, it takes at least half hour, etc. of wait time and is overpriced. This whole experience just consists of endless waiting in line. Will not be returning. They should really looking into cutting the wait time, including selling fewer tickets and put more staffs and improve how rides are ran.

2022-06-26Very cute park for younger children. My almost 5 year old loves it here and always has a blast. The staff is mostly friendly and the rides are well done. Went in early June and they still had no date for opening of the splash park area. It’s pretty overpriced for a day trip but I’ve seen plenty of advertisements with coupons to get a kid free with an adult ticket.

2022-04-23The rides seem very safe and checked thoroughly and regularly, but sadly that’s the only positive thing about this park at this point. The park is very poorly managed as per wait times. So you don’t die or get injured physically on the rides, but there’s a good chance you leave this park emotionally injured. I’m right now on a line for a ride that the app said the wait time is 15 minutes but it’s been 1 hour and we’re still waiting. The new reserve and ride thing for $100 is a pure humiliation of everyone who doesn’t pay it, which is most of the people at this point. We randomly get an army of people on that line which means waiting several several more minutes.I hope they can do better. We will not come back or renew our membership unless we read a couple of good reviews that indicate something has changed.UPDATE: a nice representative asked us about our day. We complained and she kindly gave us a pass for 1 ride. That act of kindness made our day 🙂 she also explained that spring break period is making things difficult for them. I still take one star away so they try to make things better. At the very least fix the app to not disappoint people like this.

2022-04-23First time going and it was so much. Im a nurse and I traveled with my clients family and a coworker. The kids really loved everything. The lines for certain rides were pretty long so we didnt get to get on those but the ones we did get on they really enjoyed. The food was reasonably priced and was really good. Nice variety of food in the different locations Brick City, Lego City, Pirates. There is a little something for everyone. You can actually purchase beer in the Pirates section. Something to know in advance you have to place mobile orders at the food stands but not at the restaurants. They are building a water park that will be open this summer so plan a visit then. Parking was only $27. Last but not least the Lego store was great. Grabbed a nice set for my husband and son to do together and a Harry Potter set for myself. Didnt spend too much. I definitely recommend going. Maybe book a stay at the Legoland Hotel which is right next to the park.
