Brooklyn Ave location. They destroyed my breast with the mammogram exam. They never warned me of these possibilities. My breast has no life, so if you still have plump breast do not go there for a mammogram. 4 days later I am holding my breast up and still having pain. With the amount of pressure they use, and number of pictures they take, youll most likely have a abnormality, as there practice is ensuring that you do. Do your research, its life changing... in a very negative way. And no one can help you.
My experience here during a particularly difficult health crisis has left me feeling at peace. The costumer service on the phone, front desk staff, and radiologists are courteous and patient. In addition, the facility is spotless, and the care in ensuring our safety there during this pandemic is evident. Thank you for setting my mind at ease at this time.
I had an appointment set for a month - scheduled on November 16th and set for December 17th because that was the only day when I dont have classes and could go in for an ultrasound. 2 days before my appointment they tell me I have to reschedule, and the earliest appointment at this location is 2 WEEKS FROM NOW. ON DECEMBER 29TH. Now they got me an appointment at a much farther location for 5 days later than originally scheduled, Im going to have to travel much farther. And wait longer after already anxiously waiting a month. The person on the phone could only apologize for my inconvenience, when really I am scared going through a health crisis and not being taken care of or listened to.
The service is always superb. I am always seen in a timely fashion. I had another procedure that I needed to make an appointment for. The beautiful Asian doll looked for an availability for today for me so I can do both procedures while I was there. Thank you so much for everything.
I am at LHR Now - today 12/31/21 & upon entering the clerks at windows #1 & 3 are just a turn off- JUST RUDE & abrupt. Neither of the 2 raises their head to even acknowledge you when you say good morning. I suggest you put those 2 at the back to clean or file papers. We all provide a service & has to be serviced at some point so CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY at any establishment. Omggggg. Management needs to fix this ASAP please. Clerks are the frontline & fave to any business & when their welcome is not welcoming, that business gets a horrible review like I’m doing now. We need to DO BETTER BLACK SISTERS👍🏾
A star because the front desk person was nice, if misinformed. Another because the techs are pleasant. I had an appointment...I arrived early with a pre check-in complete, then waited. And waited. I waited in the crowded waiting room for over two hours, worrying about Covid as this is in our high case community. I was then told I may not be able to get what my doctor ordered (just misinformation, i had my script and got what was ordered but had to advocate.) Then waited more in another crowded waiting room in a gown with my things in my lap with three other people. One took her mask off to talk in the phone, another to eat, next to me. Staff said nothing. The ultrasound tech then came in, after 20 more minutes, with her mask below her nose. After 3.5 hours I finally left, hopefully without a case of Covid.....
I have always had great experiences going to and having imagery done at Lenox Hill Radiology. Wait time has never been an issue. I mostly book my appointments for early in the morning when I have the day off . They make it easy and offer the convenience of having to confirm your appointment online for all who are able to do so. From moment of check in at the front desk to getting the test (s) done, I have only met upon all well trained, courteous and professional staff members! Lenox Hill is the only radiology center where I will continue to have my tests done!
Had an appointment of which they rescheduled, they sent me a car for the new date, I got there, front desk personnel was pokite & professional. I waited all but 5 min, got seen, git my cat scan. The technician was very professional, informative & nice. I was done & they sent me back home via the car service. It was my first time going to that facility & I will go back.
Had an appointment time. I completed all the documents online before coming and still had to wait 2 hours. Went to inquire of the hold up a few times and they said they were behind schedule, but two hours with an appointment? Thats not acceptable. The staff was nice and polite. The place was clean, but limited seating had people waiting outside
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The most incompetent staff I have ever encountered, more so far a healthcare facility.I had an appointment via referral for today and when I got there they said I lacked insurance authorization and couldn’t give me the procedure, I left and called my DR who said authorization wasn’t needed and was noted on the referral they had received, I then called back Lenox Hill and they also confirmed that it said on my referral no authorization was needed and it was plain as day to see that, so the Clerk who helped me in window 1 lied to my face as she said she read the referral and it said nothing about authorization. This is along with the reception staff who were being vile to the patients there’s and saying nasty things about them behind the counter. I have zero faith in this “business” and can never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away! There are better places in Brooklyn that will take your insurance!
Over a 2 1/2 hour wait!!!! Zero respect for anyone’s time, no disclosure when checking in that they are running behind, the reason for the delay or to expect a long wait time. People have lives, jobs, sitters, kids, pets, plans etc. so showing decency for that and allowing people to change the appointment or make alternate arrangements is common courtesy. Why make an appointment for a specific time if you’re not seen till 2 1/2 hours later. PACKED waiting room, not enough chairs for the elderly to sit and no care if everyone is in a full room for hours during times of Covid. Horrible experience!
The Brooklyn Avenue office seems to be extra busy. The two times I had to go there I spent my entire morning there! Unacceptable!!! If I have a morning appointment I shouldn’t be leaving the office after 12. This is frustrating…I’ve never experienced this in any of the other locations. The office is clean. The staff is very pleasant. The time spent especially during Covid needs to be worked on.
My experience here today was very nice. from the front door they greeted you with having my temperature taken and signing in . There was a bit of a wait, as it was very busy. However, once my name was called I was out of there within a half an hour and I had an MRI done . The customer service it was AWESOME. the cleanliness of this location is immaculate. Even the seating was social distance friendly, having plastic in between the seats that were 6 ft apart already. Very very nice today.
Please dont come here for your needs especially if you are in an uncomfortable state. I personally will never use them again and I suggest you all dont either particularly the Brooklyn Ave location. There is no need for an appointment as they dont respect appointment times. Be prepared to waste about 3hrs of your day just waiting. You would with think with Covid still going around that they would have better and more organized procedures. However this is a money based business and that is definitely their first priority to get paid. So they will over book have you wating hours in an overcrowded wait room with very limited seating to the amount of money oh I mean people they book. Its disgusting how they operate and put people in harms way with the over booking and over crowd of this place.
They were very nice and polite. I was met at the door and told to use the automatic hand sanitizer. My pen to sign came from a clean pen in and I was informed to place it in the dirty bin for sanitizing right when I finished signing in.Even though I had a wait for 1hour and 20 minutes before my procedure everyone was courteous and right on point. I loved the service there.
Scheduled an appointment and completed all the on-line check- in process and it still took 2 hours to be seen by a technician for a mammogram. What’s the purpose of all the technology to expedite an appointment when you still won’t be seen (until after you complain about the wait time) since it was 2 hours after your scheduled appointment. The facility is clean and has all the necessary precautions for COVID. However, their scheduling department needs help.
My appt was @ 12:15. I did as requested to fill everything out online..I got here at 11:50. Not sure of other people appt but I saw three people come in and they was seen. I didnt get checked in until 12:37. It is 1:00 pm and I still didnt see anyone. Why give an appointment and dont keep the time. Or you should make an announcement that we are extremely busy so your wait time is a little longer. I was called at 1:06 test took 20 min. I was finished by 1:27 pm. The good thing was is that technician was very nice.
I greatly appreciate their dedication to ensuring a clean environment especially during this pandemic. Upon arrival I was prompted to sanitize my hands then sign in. I then had to sit & wait to be called up. Only patients were allowed in, no family or friends, I respect that. Grateful for the care I received by my tech and front desk personnel.
I had to wait an hour (after my appointment time) to be seen. However, when I told a receptionist that I had to pick my kids up from the school bus they did put me next in line for the X-ray. And the X-ray staff were extremely friendly and efficient. So, on the whole, Id say it was a relatively positive experience besides the long wait.
The staff is excellent, courteous and helpfulThe place is clean, covid protocol is adhered to. I really appreciated that. I was disappointed with the disparity between appointment time and the time you are actually seen. There must be a way to correct this. It is not client friendly to tell someone to reach at least 15 minutes before their appointment and then have them wait over 2 1/2 hours before you are called Then to add salt to the wound, have them sit for over 30 minutes inside before being called in for your mammogram. Unacceptable. It took me getting up to leave before someone got me from the outside waiting area to the inside waiting area. Let me reiterate. I have no issues with the staff, they are great. Its the system. What is the average time for a mammogram to be completed? Taking in account the ones that can be difficult. Stagger the appointments based on that data. Its best to have less people come and stay than have more people come and leave. Not good for your reputation. Thanks for letting me vouce my displeasure.
Horrible. They waiting until the last minute to tell me that I cant do my test because my doctors office didnt get back to them. The man/lady at the door had an attitude and they scream out peoples name in the middle of the lobby like some auction show. All the receptionists are loud and ghetto and you can hear then ke keing while they supposedly help patients. A very low class establishment.
Had an appointment today for an MRI. Get there on time sitting way as usual then they call my name to say that the MRI technician is not in today. I asked him do you call patients to let them know if a technician is not going to be in today? Receptionist said unfortunately we do not offer that another receptionist joins the conversation and stated that the technician called out early this morning. I said is that is not helping me please leave me alone and I will reschedule. This place should have some type of mechanism when a technician calls out they let patients know so patient can reschedule their day8/5/2021-So I get a response from Lenox Hill to contact them and long behold the number not in service
I give the techs 5 stars but front desk staff gets no stars. I scheduled 4 exams for same day. Only 3 were done because they claim I didnt have the 4th appt yet I ckd in & completed all forms online prior to exams. I was given another appt which when I arrived to that appt I was in the system for a wrong exam yet they claim they called me prior to appt to tell me they dont do mammos on Sat anymore. So why was it scheduled & why did system have me for a bone density instead (how contradicting is that?????).... SMH I will never go to this facility again. Talk about screw ups.
Terrible experiencie, terrible customer service, i come yesterday for mammogram and im waiting for 3 hrs and no body see me, im back today at 10am and still pass 2 hrs and still here sitdown and not body care about nothing, dont use this location, people work here its not friendly and waiting time is terrible, my 2 worst day i have in my life, please dont come to this location Brooklyn ave
One star for cleanliness... and friendliness of most of the staff.Arrived today at 1215 (forms pre-submitted)for a 1230 appointment.Wasnt called up to give ID until 130p.Wasnt called into get my tests until 330p.Left at 420p. Was called on the phone to come back because they forgot to image something.Wasnt out of there until after 5p...FOR A 1230P APPOINTMENT!There was no ability to social distance. At one point there were 50 people in the waiting room. Everyone had to wait 2 hours or more for their appointments. Everyone was agitated. Some people had to reschedule due to work/obligations. At least one person left because they felt unsafe as someone was coughing incessantly without a mask. It is not acceptable to overschedule during a pandemic forcing patients to be indoors with strangers for hours. It was cold and raining so no one waited outside.Doctor had the audacity to say oh that happens in a doctors office. No it doesnt. 5 hours is not normal. Thats dysfunction. And clearly the techs were overworked, I heard them complaining about it. And as a result, I was told to leave prematurely. There was no one in-house to speak to about this.My entire day was completely ruined. Had to cancel a meeting and other plans because the whole experience was so exhausting.
I would give this place zero stars if possible. Ive been coming to lenox hill radiology for over 20 years. This is my first time at this facility and I instantly regretted coming here. The place is packed. Zero communication. My appointment was 90 minutes ago and nobody has said anything to me since I signed in. I even did a virtual check In ... nothing. Looks like an all day event. I Will never come back here.
This establishment followed many COVID protocols. Dividers for staff and patients, sanitizer as well as clearly set out clean pens. The staff in the front communicated well, were organised and efficient. The lab technician could have done a better job with patient interaction. This was not my first mammogram, but I still needed directives. She lacked communication, it might have been a long day for her.
The minute you walk in you are immediately speaking to rude and unprofessional clerks who speak to you in a disrespectful manner. I was scheduled for a virtual colonoscopy for 11 45 am and was told by cleRk that there are more than 1 person scheduled the same tomorrow me. I would recommend people boycotting this office. I believe that they should be train by the staff at 9 Bond street, which is a better office.
I know during this pandemic of COVID-19 any exam room or waiting room makes you nervous. The wait was an hour but the staff was worth it. Professional, polite, courteous. They kept up with hand sanitizer, asking if you are ok, saying sorry for the wait. Acknowledging you. They took the edge off the visit and being around people. Thank you for your service.
Eventhoug Lenox Hill was crowded upon arrival, the staff at the door was very courteous & professional. The clerk behind the desk was also very helpful by leaving her post to assist me re a situation that only the radiologist could give an answer. The radiologist was also pleasant, professional, giving me time to make the right decisions
My experience today was very good. The receptionist that process me was very polite.I was a walk-in client, but my wait time for a Saturday was great, only 2hrs45mins. I expected it to be longer than that. The 2 techs that did the procedure were on POINT! Fritz and Andrea were very professional and theirbedside manner was EXCELLENT! I appreciated the way they treated me, with kindness and respect!👍👍👍
Staff was very nice and helpful. Technician was top notch and informative...Waiting room was a bit too crowded for my liking 30 people at 9am...social distance sceens were a plus...They may want to have someone wipe seats down periodically since there is a high volume of traffic.
Beware: This facility is unsafe. A radiology technician at their Brooklyn facility put me into the MRI machine wearing a face mask with a metal wire, which caused grade one burns to my face. After speaking with the staff, I learned the technician didn’t follow protocol and failed to ask me the proper pre-screening questions. I would NOT recommend this facility to my family or friends.
I was happy to be able to be seen today after making the appointment a bit earlier. I was called to be seen at my appointment time of 10:30 am. My technician, Joseph, was very professional and even had heated gel. The procedure went smoothly and I was on my way within 1/2 hour. There even was a parking space outside. I hope the results are as positive as the procedure.
The wait to get registered was over an hour...If my appointment was at 10:30am. I arrive at 10:10am. My name gets called to register after 11:30am, I don’t get called for my MRI or CT Scan until minutes to 12:20pm.I don’t get a phone call or text message letting me know that they are running behind and I will not be seen at my appointment time... However, I get a text message suggesting that I arrive 30 minutes early. Why?These people don’t have any respect for your time. Why do you think I have hours to wait, when I have an appointment? What’s the reason for the appointment? Also, they have very small lockers that can only hold a small bag. I had to carry my clothes and coat into the testing room, and I had 2 test to take...Also, no music while taking an MRI? It’s 2018!
The staff is extremely supportive accommodating and passionate. Upon entering the facility it was noted that the facility had everything in place to ensure that patients felt safe because of the amenities that were in place to protect and prevent germs and viruses. For example the seating was arranged as per the six feet guideline, also all who entered the facility had to wear a mask or some form of face covering, the floor was immaculately cleaned. It was also noticeable that there were two containers with pens that were well labeled Sanitized and Used .
The location of this office is perfect for me. I got there in 10 minutes versus the hour and a half it takes to get to the Manhattan office. The reception staff were very professional and efficient and the technologists were kind and encouraging in doing their difficult tasks. When a patient goes for a test, he/she is usually very tense but the attitude of these professionals relaxed you so that the experience was not as frightening or painful as you thought it would be. Ive already recommended this office to my friends.
Due to the amount of people there when I arrived for my 1130 appointment, being called to the front desk to complete my paperwork took a little time. (This place takes walk ins for X-rays and there were at least 20 people waiting upon my arrival). Once I was tended to at the front desk, things flowed quickly and smoothly. My technician courteously explained the procedure and it was completed expeditiously (Sonogram). I was out of their office within 90 minutes.
I came in anxious about my MRI and Hangry as hell. There was a mix-up with my appointment, but it was quickly resolved. The man at the front desk (with the dreads) gets a special thanks. He intuitively picked upon how anxious I was and told jokes. I felt a little more at ease. Shortly after that, I got the work done. I was asked if I was comfortable and had walk through about how the procedure will go. Again I was floored by the amazing and attentive staff.
It was my second time having a mammogram and u was extremely nervous because I had a horrible experience the first time...I had a conversation with the tech and she was so nice and comforting. I told her I only want her to do my mammogram from now on.....Ms. Joanne thank you so much..
I got a message to give them a call and when there was a follow up call Mrs. John was very informative and helpful. She gave me options and was very clear about my next steps. What started out as a concern after talking with her I felt informed and ready to move forward. Im relieved she was so kind to me. Overall a positive experience.
My experience at Lenox Hill Radiology was not very pleasant. I was scheduled for a 4:30 appointment but was not seen by a technician until approximately 5:30 or possibly almost 6:00. It is very unfair to purposefully have people waste their valuable time all because the service you provide is vital to health. Please try to schedule patients in ratio to technicians.
Came for a 1215 appointment and am out by 1:26 PM. Not bad. That to the lady sitting at window 2 very professional. The waiting area in the front smell like urine and coffee cups and napkinson the floor. When to the back to another waiting area and change my clothe that need some work. It very dusty in the changing room they need a better system with those ribs. Are have someone to check the rooms. The walls are very nasty
During this covid pandemic there are a few things they should iron out before arriving at the facility. After waiting 2 weeks after my doctor referred me for a sonogram, they called my doctor while I was here, they called my insurance, and then they had me fill out a new patient application, all in all to tell me my dictor shouldve ordered a mammogram first in order to receive a sonogram. Then after waiting a hour tell me my insurance wasnt accepted. Also they requested lab work they sent me a link via email to send to them which I did with no problem I just wish they would have been more thorough before having me drive there and wait to be turned away. Just because insurance doesnt cover it doesnt mean I cant afford to pay for the test to be done, that was never asked. The facility was very clean, the social distancing measure were great, very easy process.
Lenox Hill Radiology is the worst imaging center. They are worst than Northwell. All locations are mismanaged. Their call centers are completely useless. There are 1hr delays by phone for appts. confirmations, or to speak with a human being. How can you make an appointment for an MRI ( with contrast) and they neglect to inform patients NOT to eat 4 hrs before the test.We got here early and had to sit an extra unecessary hour.HIRE the old Doshi employees and have your workforce work from home if they lack babysitters!!!This is actually 0 stars!!!!
Even the wait time was longer than usual when you go to radiology, the service was really good.Everyone worked professional , place is clean. But my main reason for this review is one special person on the staff.Elsie Costa. She is a site manager at this location. She just was the one of the clerks who checked me in when I arrived. We just spoke a little and I asked her how much longer it will be, I needed to leave soon. After I was done, she saw me leaving and asked if I got the results of my test. When I told her that it will take 3 business days and I was worried, she just ran to the radiologist to ask if my results were ok. She new it was my birthday and with the weekend coming up, my results will take longer. She came back with thank god normal results and told me to celebrate my bday without worries.I just want to say, that that maid my day!!!!So I just want to say , that I wish that world would have more people like Elsie. It’s a small gesture, but it’s huge!!!!! I was overwhelmed!Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I gave this place a 3 star rating simply because it was very clean and the receptionists were very friendly. I went for an ultrasound and I arrived there at 1:10 for a 1:50 appointment (car service drops you off early). I was told to sign in which I did and that I would be called. So I sat and waited to be called. I had to have a full bladder for this procedure and shortly after I got there it was full. I was called to register after 2. I thought that after explaining to the receptionist that I was literally about to pop that I would be seen shortly but it took at least another half hour before I was sent in and at that point I couldnt wait any longer so I went to use the bathroom. I explained it to the technician when I went in for the ultrasound so hopefully my results came out good. But as another person said everything would be great but the wait time even when you have an appointment is ridiculous.
The receptionist repeatedly mispronounced my name although I corrected her. Patients were not called to the exam room in the order or appearance. I arrived at 12:45 pm for a 1:30pm but actually did not see a technician until 2:05 pm. After seeing the technician I was asked to wait in a back waiting room for a doctor to review the pictures. The room was quite filthy. Which I took pictures of. Very good unsanitary. Will not have my exams there again.
The imaging technicians are great. The phone operators needs in service, they are very nasty ! Belittling, crass. I spoke to a young man recently and he was not pleasant , I encountered the same problem with this same guy.The Supervisors dont care , they dont return call ... they are not problem resolving uncaring people for their profession.I cant recommend them presently.
I expected better my appointment was at 12:30 I got there at 11:30 I sat down and waited to be called none called me by 1:30 I went and ask this black women she was rude and said it’s 2:30 thank goodness for this latina she is amazing she apologize and was very kind she took me in the test took 7 minutes I thank God for her. She made my day
Kevin was gracious, kind, professional and efficient. A super plus to him and he represents the company in the highest manner. Kudos to him and the mammogram technician who was also excellent. Much thanks for appealing setting and professional staff. Outstanding service was offered to me. Thank you so much
I have been going to Lenox Hill Radiology even before they became Lenox. Their approach to patrons is very friendly, systematic, and compassionate....from the initial person who accepts your documents, the person who directs your seating while you wait, and the person who eventually performs your procedure. They make you feel that you matter 💯 percent.
From the time I walked in at the Brooklyn ave location, I was greeted by a friendly smile. The receptionist were all very polite. Waiting time was extremely quick. Mario who does the Mri there is really the best. He was extremely pleasant and very understanding. Now I wish I worked with him thats how good he was. First time there. I highly recommend that location
Nice and clean place. Got task done by just walking in within 2h. Good professional staff. Technologists were very polite. Perhaps location for generous drinks could be more exposed. Hiden behind wall . Sign for free coffee/tea and water need to be posted. Not many patients know that. Thanks
Worst experience. Unprofessional. Unorganized. Do not come to LHR Radiology. The Brooklyn Avenue location lost my CD from another radiology facilty for comparison and did not send my doctor my report of the mammogram I had with them. I decided I had enough of chasing them down for 2 months of unanswered calls. I called my old radiologist and told them I wanted to go back to them. They only needed my report and images from LHR. When I went in person to pick up a CD from my recent visit with LHR, they told me their CD was not printing. I actually told the receptionist the burner was down. While I was waiting for my copy, I checked and someone else had left a review about the CD burner being down.Dont bother speaking to a manager. LHR and the management team does not care about your health and well being. That was made obviously clear when they lost my CD and promised to have the other radiologist FedEx my report. NEVER HAPPENED. I would have respected LHR if they would have been honest. Over crowded. Over booked. Unhelpful receptionists and long waits. Dont bother to ask me to contact you about my experience. It was horrible.I never want to be subjected to your facility again.
Staff was very professional and kind, especially in light of the crisis going on within our community. The only complaint I have was that I was told to have a full bladder and not empty it, upon arrival I waited for over an half hour and had to inform the front desk that I was waiting with a very full bladder, in which then I was seen in the next five minutes.
I arrived 15 minutes early at 3:45pm For scheduled mammogram at 4pm. Waited over an hour. At 5pm some staff began leaving for the day. I went to inquire about my appointment. At 5:15pm I was called and rushed to back to prep for mammogram. Technician who was friendly was also rushing. The squeeze on the breast hurt more than any previous mammogram. I think I will try another center for next
I took my elderly father for Xrays of his spine. From the woman who greeted us and took our temperature at the door, to the woman behind the desk handing the paperwork, to the X-ray technician, everyone was professional, courteous and caring. The Xray tech, seeing the pain he was in and his age, was quick and considerate. All protective measures were in place but there were no handtowe m s in the ladies room to wipe your hands or use to open the door. Fortunately, there was sanitizer available to use after walking out.The only issue there is parking so be aware of that should you need to go.
I went on a Sunday and it was completely empty and clean. The workers were very professional and displayed great customer service! Only problem is that I was there for an MRI which was in a separate trailer and my appointment was at 3PM but they had someone else in the machine and I had to wait until 4PM. Other than that, I would go back here for my imaging needs.
Please your service at the desk was very professional, office ambiance professional, came for a pelvic sonogram was told to consume 4 bottles of water, I informed the tech that I have a weak bladder was left waiting 55 minutes, so I had to go to the bathroom to prevent from soiling myself. The whole procedure became futile, I now must reschedule all of my appointments that was contingent on these test results, and I am now told the earliest appointment is two weeks from today on a Sunday. Thank you for the consideration shown.
Staff and technicians friendly, but communication could be better. They asked me to arrive by 7:45a for an 8:00a appointment. The waiting room was open and about 4-5 of us were waiting. No one showed up behind the counter to work until after 8:00. I filled in the required paperwork and sat down to wait. Around 9:00 or 9:15, I went to find out when they might be ready for me. The nice gentleman at the counter told me there was a problem with the MRI machine and he was waiting to find out if it was going to work of if they would have to reschedule me. Finally, around 9:30, they said it was working and they could do the MRI.So, I waited around for over an hour before anyone told me the machine was giving them some trouble and the only reason I found out was because I asked.Once they took me in, everything went fine.
I had my referral faxed in this morning, get to the clinic, apparently they never received it. Called my doctor 15 times, finally got told they DID send it, and all in all, I had to wait over 3 hours for a four minute scan. If you wanna get out before your day is gone, make sure that referral is in hand.
Updated Review: The management team reached out to me since my previous review and let me say this, I have been blown away by their customer service and timely response in resolving my last incident. I returned to Lenox Hill Radiology, but another location - Ralph Avenue. The management team assisted me all the way and ensured that my previous experience was not repeated. I will leave a separate review for the Ralph Avenue location. Thanks Liz for stepping in and keeping me as a customer. Thanks for everything you do!
I visited this Facility today to get my sons finger xrayed. The wait time was was average. I left home at 1:15pm and got there around 1:45pm, because we walked. So I was glad about that. It didnt cost me in terms of transportation to get there. The reception area needs a little bit more of enthusiasm in dealing with the public. The technician who did the xray was friendly. They requested that I leave the room because I would have been exposed to the radiology. I would have preferred to stay in the room, as long as I was given protective gear. There is a coffee station there, but it isnt kid friendly. They only had coffee, creamer, sugar and black tea. I hope they add chocolate.Overall, my experience wasnt bad and I got what I need to get down did.
I waited over two hours for my MRI. My appointment was at 2:00 pm. I got there at 1:35. I was finally called close to 3:45 pm if not later. This is my 3rd or 4th time here. I keep hoping they would get better; but no such luck so far. MRI machine was also broken. Had to go outside to the van. LHR should be ashamed. This is really unacceptable service. There may also be a training issue. Intake workers never look happy. They dont know how to greet the patients. If this facility was not walking distance from my home, I would go elsewhere. Unfortunately, I have to go back tomorrow to complete my MRI. One positive note: The technician was friendly and accommodating. As a matter of fact, the other technicians on previous visits were also friendly. The appearance of the facility is good and somewhat modern. It is too bad that the service does not match the appearance of the facility.
I had a pleasant experience at Lenox Hill Radiology. The time spent was minimal, I was met by Mario who performed the MRI. He was welcoming and pleasant-he even gave me good suggestions on how to position my knees at home in order to reduce pressure. The MRI went quick fast due to Marios politeness. I will definitely return for Mario for a MRI.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service. I went to the Brooklyn Avenue location in Brooklyn, NY for a mamogram, I was registered had my rest and was out the door in 1 hour. Best service ever..i have been going to thia location before the change of ownership and it use to take about 2 hours for the same service.
This place has fon down hill since it is as taken over from Doshi. First, I made an appointment for a mammogram, informed the scheduler I can not locate my referral and asked if I can still have the test done with h giving my doctor’s information, she told me come in I should be able to get the test done. I arrived at the Brooklyn Ave location, presented my insurance and ID card to the person sitting at he front desk after I was called. He rudely toss the cards back at me... disgusting unprofessional behavior. When asked for the referral, I explained I could not locate it but the person who made the appointment explained that I should still come to get the test done. I asked to speak to the supervisor considering I’m being given conflicting information...no response from this poorly trained person at the front desk. I asked again, he stated he is the supervisor without even looking up.Lenox Hill, if you want to keep your good name, hire people with at least average intelligence and train them very well. Medioricy and subpar performance is not acceptable. Unprofessionalism and poor social skills of workers, especially those on the front end dealing with patients will send you deep in the ground fast. Never have I ever had such a horrible experience at Doshi. The people were clear and accurate in their communications, highly professional in their behavior and performs at a very high level of social awareness and intelligence. This front desk person working this Sunday morning is a detriment to your business..
I had a great technician for my chest X-ray. The technician that did my dvt dopler reading for both legs was unprofessional and felt the need to tell me I need to loose weight. I thought that her statement or opinion was unprofessional, in the sense that she doesn’t know me. She has no idea what I have been through and is not a medical doctor that I came in to see for medical advice. I was a little disappointed in her choice of words. Though I handled it with kindness the next patient may not be as nice.
You must have an appointment for certain procedures and walk -ins are allowed. That is wonderful. The staff have been wonderful, informative and have good customer service approach. The problem is with telephones . No business can continue to be thriving and successful if THE PHONE IS NOT ANSWERED.
I made an appt for an X-ray for 330pm ,get here for my appt after struggling to get here because of the snow ,to be told ,the tech leaves at 3pm this week ,but the call center still can book people for X-ray up to 4:15 ,this location is extremely unprofessional,I will never come to this location again and I highly advise people to seek other facilities if you care about your time or effort because this location surely doesn’t...
The person who performed my last sonogram on4/2/19 was very hostile and did not want to do it she stated their doctors wants sonogram once a year I explained to her this is what my doctor wants based on my medical condition. I was not rude or disrespectful to her. She wrote a negative comment in my report that was sent to my doctor to cover herself, didn’t she think I will get a copy from my doctor.
I give them four stars because of comfort and peace and they work very fast but unfortunately the lady that checked me in had my MRI wrong.so I couldnt get done what I suppose too anyway she fixed her mistake and I had to go back again to do it over # hint four stars
This place is the worst, ever since Lenox hill took over they cant seem to get things together. I scheduled my appointment online to find out after an hour of waiting to be registered that they dont take online appointments anymore. So they offered to still see me be Id have to wait until everyone else was seen. I showed them my confirmation. They yelled at me that the website should notify people of the changes. Smdh!!!
Ive been there before but yesterday was not good I waited over an hour and a half and people who came after me went in and when I went to ask why its like they wasnt aware I was still waiting. The lady said your appointment was cancelled come to find out it was some mix up...very disappointed .

2022-06-23They all were very professional; friendly & respectful!! I was Informed of possibly a longer waiting period due to a larger amt of clients for Xrays. Plus I also had a referral for an Annual Bone density.test. I informed them of my being prepared for a longer wait period.Truthfully, to me, it really wasnt a longer waiting time. When I was called, the Technician performed them all back to back.It was all completed quickly!!I was pleased with the outcome!!

2022-07-07I went here to get a mammogram and I was dreading the appointment. Just thinking of what I have to do makes me ill. The technician was wonderful. She was very patient and understanding. I felt good after the test was over. They were very good with the scheduling. I was out in a flash.

2022-05-26Treated Royal, I was. Got there early. Signed in, U kept to my scheduled time, tho I read there wd b no more X-rays taken. However mine were honored and I am grateful..I saw a bit of a difficult patient asking for an exclusive mask, that she may pull out herself, i saw reception agent keep calm cool collective passed it , a probable bad glitch , in flying colors. Shows me ppl eere well trained in accomodating ppl. Nice.

2022-06-03No matter what kind of appointment it is the staff is always kind n just realized today because I had a appointment at mill basin I was running late I got there at 2:55 but they didn’t call me to the counter till 3:30 so the lady tells me your very late I said yeah my baby sitter was late so as she was looking in the computer she was saying I dunno if I hve a space to fit u in n I said I’ll wait it’s ok. She proceeded to keep tapping away at the computer she was looking for a spot immediately for me only thing was it was at another location which is also only 15 minutes from my house for 4:30 I said where she told n I said ok np that’s fine I’ll go right now and thank you for doing that I appreciate that.Concluding they are always humbling because being there is not something anyone wants to do, the outcomes can be good bad or a repeat of what you already hve dealt withSo again thank ladies n gents I do appreciate you n thank you!!!!!

2022-01-06Everyone I met here was pleasant and helpful. HOWEVER they were closed on Monday 1/3 due to staffing shortages and not one of their correspondences thought to mention that. So when I trudged an hour and 15 minutes down there to pick up medicine, the location was closed, without even a reason why posted on the metal gate blocking the front door. So I had to go all the way back home and come all the way back at 8am the next day to pick up the medicine (because I had to start taking it right away) and then back AGAIN on Wednesday for the actual procedure. Not my idea of a fun way to spend a total of 7 or so hours.
