I had an MRI appointment for my mother at 1:20 pm, Fordham (410 E 189 th street, Bronx), they said to be there before 20 minutes otherwise it might be canceled. We did that, reached at 1 pm and we had to wait 2 hours to complete the MRI. Every time I asked after waiting 1 hour how long more I might have to wait and they keep saying me we are next, it took 15-20 minutes to complete the MRI for my mother and they keep lying to us. I took few hours off from work and finally couldn’t go back to my work as I did not know how many hours could take to finish. I know nothing gonna happen in future, they probably do the same thing Super frustrated. Still decided to share my experience🤬Let me know what more details you need to know from me?
I had an ultrasound scheduled for 1:00pm and made sure to arrive early for check in (around 12:30). Around 1:10pm noticed that some people that arrived later than me were getting called before me.Around 1:30 I asked the ladies working the front desk, if everything was ok with my appointment since I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes and more people that were arriving after were being called. Their response was, “an elderly man is being seen and Josh likes to take his time on the elderly “.Another 25 minutes passes with no signs of the wait ending, I approached the front desk again, but the ladies treated me as if I was just being impatient. (I’ve waited 1.5 hrs at this point and 1hr after my appointment time).I was so appalled that I asked to reschedule elsewhere, but they scrambled to find numbers to offer me to a call center. As a result, I just walked out to the front desk ladies pleasure.0/10
Very disappointed. I had an appointment for 11:25 so I got there at 11:00 because I had to drink 32oz of water before the test and on an empty stomach. It was 12:20 and I was still waiting with a full bladder. I asked the front desk when was I going to be seen so she said that I was scheduled for 1:15. I then showed her the confirmation email I got from them which clearly said 11:25am appointment time. Not only did I get seen late but it also made me late for work. I believable.
Disappointed and a bit disgusted... they didnt allow my fiancé, the father-to-be inside of the scan room. He missed the opportunity to hear his first childs heartbeat. Hes the FATHER of the unborn child, he is vaccinated and COVID negative. I get safety protocols, but you cant ignore how valuable a support person is to a pregnant woman... And denying a father the right to experience prenatal visits? Get it together. Find a way to ensure that a support person can attend while still upholding health protocols.
They were efficient and took me on time. The place was also very clean. They should inform the other patients that people are taken at their appointment time and for different procedures. The other patients there apparently took offense to my existence and thought I was called out of turn. Just because I have blue eyes doesnt mean I cant speak Spanish.
One of the receptionists who I spoke to talked down to me and treated me rudely other patients in the clinic were complaining about the hours they’ve been waiting and not being called in ! Please don’t hire people if they have attitude problems !!!THAT NEGATIVE ENERGY AFFECTS THE PATIENTS AND HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT THE CLINIC !!
I came in for a monogram I made sure to arrive 20 minutes before for check in.the front desk was very professional and made sure to communicate with my gynecologists office for paper that was needed. The waiting room was getting crowded and someone came out to check in and ask me if I had any questions about my exam and made sure everyone had a place to sit. . I was seen ten minutes after my appointment time.My radiologist was professional and informative. The only feed back is their restroom wasnt kept well at all. For the amount of patients that use the bathroom it should be clean often.
Came here for an ultrasound scheduled at 4PM. They said to come 20 minutes before. I arrived at 3:30PM. I waited until 5PM before the staff started inquiring about how long I have to wait. They close at 5:30PM. Completely forgot about me. Then they later explained that I will be the last patient seen. Why would I have an appointment at 4PM to be seen at 5:30PM. I called out of work for this appointment. Do not recommend this place.
I was assisted by the manager Jasmine Rodriguez. Her customer service was phenomenal. I have never had such a smooth joyful experience at a doctors appointment. She was so professional, welcoming and informative. She was able to assist me with all my needs and extremely attentive to myself as well as every other patient at her facility. Her organization and professionalism was amazing. I would certainly recommend anyone to the site and continue to be seen at this location thanks to jasmine!
I am really glad that I used Lenox Hill Radiology/Fordham location. The staff is pleasant, professional, and I did NOT have to wait more than 5-10 minutes after I arrived. I appreciate the service they provide and how quickly they get the job done. They practice all of the safety measures to make sure their clients are safe from covid
Im giving no stars. For my first time going, it was a disaster. They had me waiting 3 hours for a simple xray. There were other patients waiting for xrays too and they just kept telling us when wr asked over and over, we were next. The staff walks around, looks at you, and cant even out of respect ask if you need anything or just to tell you that you will be seen soon. We had to start complaining and leaving to be taken into account. I pay copay and they took that real quick, but not to do your study.I will never go back to them... I wouldnt recommend either. I had the most stressful wait ive ever had my entire life, no lie. Thanks but no thanks.
I called to make an appointment with the call center. I was told when doing an X-ray there is no need to make an appointment.Walk in before 5:30pm closure and get your X-ray done. This is so not true I went to the office on Fordham Road. I was told X-ray services closes off at 2pm. I got to the office at 2:15 pm 4/17/2021. And was given this information. This is extremely poor customer service. The customer service agent at the office says the call center does this all this time. Totally unacceptable they need to fix this problem so another customer doesn’t have to face this situation.
My treatment at Lenox Hill radiology was absolutely professional and fabolous!!!!! I didnt have to wait long and it was full. Clarissa did my sonogram and has the most blessed bed side manner. She was gentle yet firm, professional yet comforting such a beautiful spirit. Thank you Clarissa you go girl!!!!! We need more people like you in the healthcare field.....your education and hard work paid off you rock! Also the young lady who did my intake and mammogram were beautiful and professional as well... Alll you ladies rock out thank you for your kindness and hospitality.
The staff was polite and friendly. The service was quick and efficient. The offices were clean and neat. I was in and out of there. I had a hard time finding the place. I almost gave up looking for it but Im glad I didnt. Thank you for a comfortable experience. Btw, its located a block behind the old Sears building.
I’m just lost how appointments can be made and when the patient is there, their not able to do the appointment because it gets cancelled. Cancelled because you guys didn’t do what you were supposed to do correctly. After that, you guys just wanted to rush my girlfriend out of the facility giving her every excuse in the book. Absolutely a shame the way you guys handled this situation. If people don’t like their jobs, they shouldn’t be doing them.
Talk about professionalism! As long as they get your correct insurance information, they could careless what else they get wrong lol. I gave them my Id, insurance and referral, all containing the right information. They misspelled my name, failed to enter correct contact information and assumed my ethnicity based on my skin color. With so many errors upfront, I hope they’re a little more professional with the X-ray. Wish me luck!!! Ps: long wait time on weekend walk-in even when only two patients are waiting! Took an over an hour to be seen. UPDATE: When they called me to do X-ray they asked uncomfortable that should not been asked had they or any tech read the Doctor’s order I gave them which contain my correct contact, demographics and doctor’s order - reading seems optional at their Fordham’s location.
I waited to long to be called when I was inside. I went there at 1:30pm and came out at 6:pm andOn top of it all I didn’t eat all day. For my test I couldn’t eat anything until I would be done with my test. So I would be going back there again. There was one lady who works In the front desk she was nice to give me something to snack on when I am done with my test. With all that I could not eat until I got home to my Daughters..
Warm and friendly staff. clean environment. bathroom was extremely clean and fresh. was asked if i were comfortable during the procedure. i did not wait too long before i was seen. on my way got i was actually told good bye and to have a good weekend . that was a nice personal touch. over all s great place. yes i would definitely recommend this facility
This review is for the Fordham location. On my first visit, I had to wait over 2 hours. Apparently, they had forgotten about me. Then the mri tech rushed me into the machine without even asking me if I was comfortable or in any pain? I lasted all of 5 minutes. I mean, not even knowing the first thing about mri procedures, I would assume that would be an important question to ask.On my second visit, I had a different mri tech and I made sure to let her know when I was comfortable. The procedure on my left shoulder took around 25 minutes.Overall, my experience was unfavorable. Whether it was the incessant gossiping from the front desk or the lack of care and empathy from the back, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
That was my 1st time at the Bronx location, due to the virus I went to this location because close to where I live. The staff were very nice. They had the chairs socially distance, mask & sanitizer. Even took my temperature. So it made me feel good that I didnt have a fever, Im a high risk because I have asthma. That you for your service. Stay safe.
The wait was entirely too long. My appointment was for 10:15 and I was finally called in about an hour later. The woman that did my Mammogram unfortunately, I don’t recall her name. However, she was very unprofessional and disconnected. I feel that she barely made contact with any woman that she saw. We are getting Mammogram and sonograms done. In order to find out if we are sickly or not. Hopefully not. There was no greeting, no warmth just a very cold environment and cold demeanor. The woman that did my Sonogram was very hospitable and pleasant. A middle aged African American woman. She was attentive towards all of us and often asked if we were okay, cold, needed the rest room etc. she explained the next step in the process which no one had done before. So I definitely appreciated that. Overall I stayed there for about 3 hours.
Honestly This place was a very good experience, even without appoinment service was so quick and efficient. Staff very professional, always will be people who said something wrong or different but, if you do the things the way the told you to do so it will be a great experience.
Let me start by saying it was very easy to get to because there were several buses and a subway near. However I would not recommend driving unless you are willing to park in a garage. The office was Clean and Spacious. The front desk was helpful and kind. The wait was not long at all and there was water and tissue available. I would recommend this location.
I have been to the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Now The Bronx site and they all treat us fantastic. I truly love this place and they way my husband and I have always been taken cared of. I didnt put five stars because in Brooklyn we only had maybe two incidents. Other than that I will only come here for radiology needs. Thank you all for caring and not just taking it as a job.
Friendly and helpful staff. Have gotten imaging done twice here now and have no complaints. For my second scan which was an MRI I was scheduled for 2:30pm and they actually called me 2 hours earlier to ask me if I would be willing to do it earlier since then had an open slot. Highly recommend this facility!
The staff were attentive, respectful, and communicative but overall professional and friendly. Even though it took too long to get . They did gave a logical explanation which it help me to take it easy. I had a long and stressful but speaking with them in the front desk was definitely calming and pleasant.
I had a 9:30 appointment, I got there around 9:40I was called to check in 10:50 to sign in.The receptionist took information called another office for information to be fax. I sat there until 12:45I ask what was going on. She said she is still waiting for the paperwork to be fax to her. So I decided to called the office myself. Then she said the paperwork is here but she doesn’t want it like that. Anyway she is going to take it. I sat there until 1:45 and I wasn’t called to the front deck. Then I’m told they are going to called me in around 4:00 pm. Now this is by for the worst time management business place ever. For a procedure that should take 20min
I liked that everyone that assisted me at this office was very professional. The technician was helpful and he explained everything. This site offered a clean, spacious environment. I would use this service again. I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a radiology facility with extended hours.
The receptionists are rude and dont have that bedside manner personality. They dont even acknowledge you when youre in their face with an appointment. They have these little attitudes which they bring into work. The bathroom did not have toilet paper. This facility is very unprofessional with immigrants who work there that barely speak English or understand and that act like they are not at work. The technologist was informative about what he was doing and how I was going to feel with injections etc. Other than that the whole experience there was highly disappointing.
My appointment was after the normal 9 to 5; at 7PM. At this hour, the waiting area was pretty much empty and I was seen right away. The receptionist answered all my questions and the MRI Technician was attentive and patient. I think Ill schedule all future appointments at this location and after normal hours from now on.
The staff at this location were very professional. From the time I walked in I was acknowledged and greeted, there was a coffee stand available for patients to help themselves. The technicians were also professional and very respectful, as I forgot a personal item and received a call from the office notifying that my item has been found.
Amazing radiology technician. Everyone was friendly and gracious. There were a couple communication issues around paperwork but they were resolved quickly. I was even educated by the tech so I have better information for my next MRI. I wish I had been warned about the elevator being out, I wouldve brought a cane to help on the stairs.
It was a late appointment (8/21/18 @9pm) so there was only 2 men there... They were so sweet, I was nervous & they engaged in conversation to ease the gitters... They were both very polite & professional. The ONLY thing I could possibly complain about is the elevator was not working & by the time I reached the top I was in tears from the pain. Thank you guys for the experience! I wish I could remember their names 💁
Good service and staff very helpful and knowlegable of service rendured at every juncture. Appears to be a popular medical unit so the wait was a little lengthy for an xray walk in only but overall it was a good experience. Hopefully the results will be sent in a timely manner and they will have a customer forever.
Horrible experinece will never again walk into this location. Had a 2pm appointment I arrived 30mins prior to do my paper work and was treated as if I was a walk in and told I had to wait 2-3 hours which is ridiculous what is the point of having an appointment. Patient service was horrible as well they need to train the staff better and the supervisor. The environment looks disgusting like its a free clinic and the building looks abandond when you first walk in than go to a disgusting basement. I would not recommend anyone to there. I was so upset and disgusted I walked right out without having anything done 1 star is overrated for this location.
Horrible, horrible experience. Period. The patient I was with had an appointment at 3.30pm and I was there with my patient at 2.59pm. We signed in and we were told to wait till we hear our names but by 4pm, we didnt hear anything. I went to the front desk to ask them the reason of the delay and they said that they only have one machine, there was a delay and a lot of other things that didnt just match up at all. Then, around 5pm, they told me that my appointment delayed to 7.40pm!!!! I was just surprised and pissed off at the same time but I HAD to do fulfill my appointment anyways, otherwise it wouldnt be good for the patient to move the appointment to another day.Long story short, please DO NOT have your tests performed here. I thought first that this was maybe one day-out-of-the-blue thing but after I saw all the other reviews, I was sure that it was not me- a lot of people suffered as well. Stay away!!!
I arrived about 45 minutes early to my 12:00pm appointment for a mammogram & still ended up waiting over two hours. Worst of all, it was the most painful mammogram I’ve had so far, I was sore long after I was done. It was a bad experience & probably will have my next mammogram elsewhere.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. My appt was at 3:45pm, I arrived early at 3pm.By 5pm I was still not seen. I asked reception what the hold up was and was told that I had several patients ahead of me. I took my documentation and left. Do not give these people your money. I told the receptionist that this was ridiculous and he nodded and proceeded to give me my documentation. No apology. It seems like this is a normal and daily occurrence at this place and the other reviews confirm this. Do not go here! Ask your MDs and NPs not to refer you here. If you do not come here, they lose money and it will force them to evaluate their service and staff to keep their patients. Hit them where it hurts, their pockets, and force them to give our community better service!
There was no elevator working so everyone had to walk a flight of stairs in and out, including people with walkers There were enough flies in the waiting room to be annoying, even well into autumn. There is serious overbooking and my friend and I waited over two hours to be called in. When my friend questioned the wait she was asked if she had a job. After over 80 years working in health care between the two of us, we both found that very disturbing.
Horrible don’t ever go there for any imaging appts. Unprofessional. Dirty. The receptionist were yelling out personal health info about clients and the X-ray tech was rude as hell when I asked him for a female tech. He tried to make me change my mind and I felt really uncomfortable with him. Never again ZERO STARS if I could.
First the entrance looks like an abandoned building!! Front desk personnel barely speaks English! I completed all the forms plus spoke to (Tech) about my having prior total knee replacement just to be told after 60 minutes unable to get MRI on my knee!! Then Im given information to go somewhere else which they have know knowledge of location. Totally dissatisfied with services rendered.
Staff is very slow. My appointment was at 2:30pm and I was here before time and its 4:30 and I was still waiting. I was seen after 5pm. The staff are slower than turtles. Its so sad how you need to waiting so long for a 5-10 minutes MRI or X-RAY. Dont come here, schedule else where!!!!!
Do not come here unless you dont have anything else to do,they gave an appointment for 11 am and it was 2 pm and is was still waiting, very poor costumer service and sad thing is they dont even care about bad reviews because people still go there not me saying this is by one of their own employees :-/
I got there about 10:15am and was seen by registration about 15 mins later and was told it would be about a 20 min wait after I registered, it wasnt until about 1:20pm until my daughter was seen and it pissed me off because I had to pay the meter, I will never go back to this site again, they are not punctual at all, if I could rate it zero stars thats what I would give them

2022-04-17I have been coming to this facility for many years- for mammograms, ultrasounds and MRI’s. And I am VERY happy with the service and care at this location.I highly recommend you call the office the week of your appointment to ensure that all insurance authorizations have been approved. And it’s best to have a copy of the referral needed for the procedure. Sometimes doctors’ faxes don’t go through as expected, and you want to avoid any and all types of issues on the actual date of your appointment.Fill out the required forms via text before your appointment date. This will save you a LOT of time in the office- and you will be seen more quickly. In terms of the clinic- it is clean and well organized. And the staff is very friendly.I am claustrophobic, and yet, I’ve been able to have MRI’s of my cervical spine and lumbar spine completed at this facility successfully. The MRI technician… I never got his name… but he is SO kind, warm and reassuring. He’d make sure I was comfortable, felt safe and was ready before he’d begin the MRI. It takes about 10 minutes and you’re done.If you’re afraid of the MRI machine, too, just hold on to the bulb that he hands you to squeeze should you ever panic or begin to feel uncomfortable. He will quickly stop the procedure and come check on you. Thank God I’ve never had to use it. I close my eyes as soon as the bed begins to pull into the machine, and I keep them closed. There’s nothing to look at in there anyway. 😋 During that time, amidst all the loud banging and clanking- I talk to God. I sing my favorite songs (in my head). I think about what I want to buy myself as a gift for following through with this appointment. Anything that keeps me calm. Before I get a chance to start overthinking and feeling scared in there, the time is up. And we’re done.I’ve had Stand Up MRI’s done at other locations and they take way longer than they do here.I HIGHLY recommend getting your MRI’s done at Lenox Hill Radiology. And when you’re done, you too, can reward yourself by going shopping at one (or more) of the many shops nearby. 🎉. You deserve it!!!Wheelchair accessible and elevator available. Covid-19 health guidelines followed.

2022-03-30Wow, this was ny first time visiting Lenox Radiology. The service is first class. As soon as u arrive they have 3 secretaries assisting people. So it made the process so much quicker. Once in the room, I had the most friendliest and well prepared radiologist and her assistant assist me. I would highly recommend this location for any radiology needs.

2022-05-31My MRI technician was wonderful. However, my first encounter with the “customer service” representative at the window did not sparkle. She was very apathetic. Less than helpful is the nice way I would describe her. Arrive early —this place was PACKED.

2022-03-21Worst service possible, in terms of calling for any questions or simply to talk to someone. You would have to wait a significant amount of time for someone to pick up your call, and if youre lucky enough for someone to pick up a call, and request to answer specific questions, for example, I had my patient scheduled for transportation, I had 2 reps who put me on hold back to back for 20 mins each, thus losing valuable time for both me and my patient. I feel that they are not organized at all, and extremely disappointed with them.

2022-06-01Today was my first time going to get a mrl on my left ankle. I got there early the reception was very nice and were patient with me. They called me fast and the nurses were well trained and prepared to handle patient who never had a mrl before. It wasnt that bad because the nurse made me feel comfortable and I just relaxed and did everything she told me to do thank you God bless.

2022-06-14Horrible customer service. I arrived 30 min early and front desk denied to see me because the technician had left which I didnt believe, mind you I had a scheduled appointment months in advance so they knew I was coming for service. I confirmed my appointment the day before and not one courtesy call was made to inform me they couldnt see me for whatever reason. I spent money taking a taxi because I was in pain and all the front desk girl said that was not her problem! Worse customer service experience ever! Please provide training for your front desk staff because its horrible. Would definetly not recommend!

2022-06-22Very bad service , I scheduled an appointment months ago, and I tried to reschedule for sooner appt , they said no availability. I confirmed the appt through their website, I took the day off from work to attend to appt and they told me same day , because I called to make sure the time , that my appt was cancelled and they rescheduled for another day without even informing me. The lady on the phone did not give me any other options, like I do not have the right to make a decision. I do not recommend this location to any one.

2022-06-21I had an appointment scheduled for 3 months ago. I called to see if I was on the schedule for today. Call center is saying someone rescheduled it for Sept 19, ridiculous. I had a biopsy done at the beginning of the year. I havent seen anyone ever since my biopsy, no one email me or called me stating it was rescheduled. No good. Tried speaking to someone but they couldnt take me yelling at them. Telling me I am not here to argue and hung up the phone, not caring for my health at all, shame on u lenox hill radiology. Due to no techniques available!!!!!!!
