The atmosphere here is great! I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped inside. Staff was delightful and knowledgeable. The young man (sorry I can’t recall your name) that did my prescreen was funny and thorough. Dr. Patel is awesome and kind. To wrap up my visit, Nicole was on point with helping me select the perfect glasses for me. Felt like we were long lost friends, she’s super cool 😎. Would definitely recommend coming here!
Experience was positive and all staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I felt very confident with Dr. Nicholls who gave me a comprehensive exam. She explained her findings and what they meant in a way I could understand them. I would definitely recommend.

Best glasses experience ever, I need to shout out the fine folks who helped make it so wonderful! I was greeted by Erin who helped me pick out wonderful new frames, Meagan who was very polite and informative went through all the necessary eye procedures, Doctor Nicholls was equally as polite and informative, and finally Nicole who helped measure my new frames and even adjusted my old ones! Im very satisfied and from now on will recommend all my friends and family come to this location for their glasses!
I appreciated the honesty and integrity of staff-I went in to have new glasses tightened -staff member saw a flaw with my lenses...ordered new lenses and it’s important to know I pay out of pocket for glasses and sunglasses-tri-focal: no insurance...the cost is extremely high! But to have staff that care what I work hard for and purchase -should be excellent quality !!!EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!Thank you for caring about my hard earn money and the quality of your products...
The staff there is very friendly and go above and beyond to help you. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism! The store was clean and inviting and they accepted my insurance, when their competitors did not! Their prices are a little high but the service, comfort and atmosphere are well worth the price you pay.
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at this new location in Marshalls Plaza. Doctor Nicholls was polite, informative, professional, and she made me feel at ease from beginning to end. All of the staff were extremely courteous and the store itself was big, beautiful, and exceptionally clean! Im so happy to be able to relocate and become a patient at this new location!
I am from out of town and needed to check my cornea because I wear special lenses and I was in total discomfort. The staff at lens crafters was able to take me in and made sure all was ok with my eyes. Great Doctor and staff!!
Dr Nichols and Tara were professional and informative. It is clear that LensCrafters as an organization, and the professionals it employs, are dedicated to their customers vision needs. I learned much more about my eyes and the options for correcting my vision from LensCrafters than from other vision care providers. Im glad I found them, and highly recommend the team at the Dewitt store.
Dr. Bajaj and the team were great! Everyone was super friendly and easy to work with. They all cared about getting me the best deals and best products for my vision needs. The new office is beautiful. Would definitely recommend!
I wish I could remember everyones names but I saw many different people this month at a few different visits! I ordered glasses and contact lenses for my son and myself and each appointment had the same quality! I choose to drive an hour to this store and prefer it over the other two in Syracuse because of their selection but most importantly, their service. Very accommodating people here and Dr. Bajaj was fantastic and very knowledgeable!

This will be a long review but if you read to the end it should answer any questions about Lens Crafters. I was a mess, walking around in a blurr with 2 pairs of eye glasses on for 2 years. It was terrible...headaches, dizzieness etc. My buddy was calling me six eyes (not funny) and this happened due to the inept retailers of corrective eye wear in the area and that includes the last private office (expert Optometrist) I visisted that fitted me with a pair of what actually were reading glasses, when I need just the opposite, telling me Ill do what I can to help you prior to dispensing the prescription glasses to me, HUH !!! I ended up putting my nephews glasses over mine on a hunch (to add magnification) and just kinda gave up. Then some one suggested I call Lens Crafters.......On the phone TARA made great suggestions that I ultimately used regarding advanced eye wear. CRAIG (mngr. in training) greeted me kindly at the door. MEGHYN pre-tested me and answered a lot of questions. DR. NICHOLLS expertly examined me with the latest equipment, explaining my condition and prescribed precisely CORRECT lenses. NICOLE (Optician) so knowledgeable, helped me choose suitable frames and lens type which resulted at my fitting with the best clarity of vision I have had in many years, if not ever... Its hard to express how much Lens Crafters has helped me, I can only say thank you. Yes you should shop at Lens Crafters I wouldnt go any where else. James :) PS: And btw pricing was in line actually very reasonable for my progressive HD lenses with transition and Titanium frames... I love these glasses and will be purchasing another (back up) pair soon.

Would not recommend. The only reason I went in was because it was the place that precipitated with my insurance. The entire time I was there all they wanted to do was upsell. Dictated as to what I was going to do instead of asking
I went in to ask about the price of the eye exam. As I was talking about my past Lasik eye surgery and my need for an eye exam because my eyes are getting worse, the woman with the long brown hair just ignored me halfway as I was speaking to answer the phone. She proceeded to have a conversation on the phone without telling me to hold on or telling the person on the phone she’s speaking to a customer right now. I left immediately. Terrible service. I don’t recommend anyone coming here. I strongly recommend anyone planning to come here to go to another vision place. I went to visionworks instead.
Never again! The doctor was very nice but got my prescription wrong (twice)! This gave me terrible headaches. The billing department overcharged me but by the time they admitted doing so, it had already exceeded 90 days, so they could not reimburse me. There is a reason why this place is empty.

My family and I love the doctors and Ruth here, there is just one person who I cringe if we have to deal with. I dont know what his name is, but he is older, bald, and wears glasses. He is most often rude and dismissive. I have had to ask when we go in for our receipts to be sent to our insurance company so our flexible spending account doesnt get canceled, unfortunately I dont have a fax machine. Whenever Ive had to ask him hes always so rude about, especially if I ask over the phone. Im really sorry that this is such an I convenience for you, but oh well....get over it. THANK YOU RUTH for being so understanding and extremely accommodating; you and the Drs are why well be back.

My frames were reasonably priced and but I thought the remaining prices were extreme. Other than that service and friendly reps were thumbs up.
I have gotten my glasses here for the last 15 years. I have looked at Americas Best, Walmart, and the other lensCrafters in Destiny and nothing beats their selection and customer service. Really.

2022-02-05My 95-year-old Mom (deaf, living in a nursing home, not very mobile) broke her glasses recently. We glued them together but were living on borrowed time. The eye doctor agreed to let us use her old prescription.It was a bit of an ordeal getting the prescription, along with permission to use the expired one, to the store. Their fax machine didnt work (after several tries) so eventually I had to drive the Rx over, and then have them call to check with the eye doctor. But when that was taken care of, we were ready.We showed up with my Mom in a wheelchair. The gentleman who assisted us was great - extremely helpful. He selected some frames to try, and all of them looked really good. We chose a pair, and he got us set up right away. Well go back to pick them up in about 2 weeks.The glasses cost $300, which was ok for plain bifocals. I was relieved they did not cost more. I docked them one star because of the fax machine. I would give the optician 5 stars for his help. And the glasses look great. Looking forward to picking them up.

All questions answered regarding changes in my vision and possible solutions were answered by Dr. Nicholls in a way that I understood them.The entire staff was welcoming and helpful with my insurance and making certain my glasses were a perfect fit for me.I left with a skip in my step. 2022-05-23The store has great selection, great eye exams, and perhaps the best technician in the country in Cosmo. Took the time I needed to help with a troublesome issue and had me laughing with him by the time it was resolved. That is the best feeling as a customer.

2021-11-14Had an excellent experience. I bought my glasses elsewhere online and then slept on them funny so they were crooked. Went in here and not only did Bill adjust the crookedness in about a minute, he noticed and fixed a problem with the earpieces that had been bugging me more than I realized and wouldn’t have thought to ask about until he brought it up. Friendly, fast, professional, knowledgeable, and skilled! Will definitely be back.

2021-06-25Came in for a quick adjustment to frames I had bought online. Place was busy but they managed to take care of me quickly. Friendly and expert service. Frames feel great. New store is bright and tidy. I might even get my next pair here…nice to have the face to face service!
