Leos Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria in other cities:
Worst pizza and service I’ve ever experienced. Called two pizzas in and it was a mess the cheese stuck to the box the sauce completely separated. Called in saying we will bring the pizza back they said no we are closed and that a manager will call me the next day for a refund. 44$ for the pizza and no one touched it.
I was very disappointed. We ordered a few different things to go. Everything was wrong like the person taking the order didnt listen or care. The chicken Parm was smothered in too much sauce and the chicken was overcooked. We asked for no onions, we got onions. They brought the wrong dessert, etc. Needless to say we will never get food from there again. Sals, which is right down the road is fantastic. Great food and great service!!!
We ordered a margherita pizza which is our favorite. We were in the neighborhood and ordered one from Leos for the first and last time. It was very bitter because it was seasoned with raw garlic like the kind that comes chopped out of a jar or tube. It wasnt even spread evenly but placed in clumps. The basil did not look or taste fresh. First time I tossed a pizza.
The food was great and plentiful. The service was slow But we were told the owner had a family event and took most of waitstaff. The second string did great. Telling us that was fine and we understood. One girl was training her aunt to waitress. You guys did great. It was busy. Its nice to eat and not be rushed.Id recommend it and we will be going back.
Came in for family dinner this evening. It was my first time there. We shared two antipasto appetizers and each had different entrees. The antipasto was good. Fresh mozzarella, olives, artichokes, dried parmesan, roasted red peppers, prosciutto. The steaks that were ordered were EXTREMELY small and in my opinion not worth the money. The sautéed spinach was delicious. The pasta dish was tasty and a HUGE portion. Definitely enough for 2-3 meals. The garlic bread was delicious. The service was horrible. We waited for 45 minutes to order our meals. If one of us didnt get up from the table for some kind of assistance, we would have walked out. And the restaurant was not that busy. Not sure what the total amount was because someone else paid. Not sure Id go back.
We moved to Wappingers Falls a year and a half ago and as most people know finding a great pizza place is a top priority. This one is as solid as they come. Pretty robust menu and everything has been very good. Try their chicken bacon ranch pizza, the Hudson Valley salad, and the honey mango habanero wings. They have even gone off menu to make us grilled chicken Caesar salad pizzas. Friendly staff and fast delivery. Catering has been excellent as well.
I moved to the area about a month ago from NYC, where great Italian Restaurants were NOT hard to find. I asked around for the best Italian restaurant in the area. Overwhelming it was Leos, and I decided to give it a shot. Im glad I did, Im hooked. Ive tried multiple items on the menu, and have not been disappointed. The pizza makes me feel like Im back home. Glad to have a place like this near my new home!!!
If I could give 0 I would. Been coming here for years with my family, got a slice and some tomato and mozzarella last night and the slice was like cardboard with cheese and the tomato and mozzarella had a hair in it. NEVER AGAIN. Also upon return to the restaurant was only refunded for the 2 items not even the entirety of my order.
We always order in delivery from Leo’s in Wappingers Falls. The food is delicious, portions are large, the staff is always so sweet on the phone, I’ve never had an order come incorrect. Food arrives HOT & if they are having a busy night & delivery will be a wait ; they always let you know. Desserts are just as amazing! I highly recommend Leo’s!
Very disappointed this evening. I placed an order for delivery waited almost an hour and chicken wings were done boneless, not what I ordered. Called and after 10 minutes got resolve but the guy came to deliver the right stuff and asked for the wrong stuff!!! We didnt touch it but if they are taking food back during Covid19....taking a break!
I visited for lunch today. Wanted to order two slices one with chicken cutlet and one with meatball. Apparently you can only get what they have made in the display case. They said they are way too busy to make custom slices during lunch. Are you kidding me? Hey I gave Leos a chance to be my new favorite pizzeria but I think Ill still be going up to Wappingers Falls to Joe Cristianos instead. Theyre a lot more friendly and theyll do anything you want no matter how busy they are. And frankly I think their Pizza is about 20 times better
Takeout: Pizza 🍕 is always delicious. Crisp thin crust and oh so tasty sauce. Alsovery delicious subs. Eggplant, chicken parmesan, sausage, and the special with balsamic vinegar.. yum!!! Dine in: eggplant parmesan and rollatini were delicious. My husband had lasagna which was also awesome. Excellent wine selection as well. Excellent wine, food and price!!!
The food is mediocre . The prices are $$$$ and do not reflect t the value you receive small portions as well. Owner not at all friendly nor staff. They act like their restaurant is 5 star its a pizza place that also serves mediocre entrees for to much money! This is a family owned business I have heard the elder / father who started the busineses was a kind man and the food was delicious back when he was in command. The current son/ owner needs to park his big fancy Mercedes not in front of the front entrance so that the handicapped and our elders folks can park near the front door for easy access. In my opinion do not waste your money or time to eat at this establishment. Mama Teresas Restaurant in New Windsor is a fabulous place to eat. Homemade pasta sauce you name it and it does not come out of a can. Food portions are huge seriously enough for two servings and my husband can consume alot of food but never not once at Mama Teresas . I am not an employee or owner of MT I am a satisfied consumer spreading the word and just trying to give tips within a 8-9 mile radius that one can enjoy a great Italian meal. Happy Eating!!!
Avoid this restaurant!! I made arrangements to have dinner at Leos to accommodate 25 out of town guests. The owner called me the morning of the event and told me they were not prepared to serve us. This was very clearly due to poor communication between himself and his staff. This man was rude, belligerent, and sarcastic to me on the phone. He took no responsibility for his inability to accommodate my party. He misquoted prices to me and told me it was MY responsibility to know that I needed to sign a contract in advance. Thankfully I was able to make arrangements at another local restaurant where we were served cheerfully and professionally. I will be sure to share my unfortunate experience with friends who dine out in the Fishkill/Beacon area. Not even 1 star.
Bought a pie. They didnt let it sit cheese and sauce everywhere. You must let hot pizza sit. I dont care how it sat in my car. Anywhere else you go they let their pizza pies sit. Then Ive went there to buy a pizza slice, was skipped by the cashier and not even asked if Im being helped. Bad service
As soon as we walked in we had the experience of stepping into an elegant, upscale dining area coupled with with two large tvs sitting over the bar with college football. My girlfriend and I loved it because we wanted fine dining and yet the informal pleasure of watching sports at the bar. The tvs were visible from where we were sitting so we got to enjoy the intimate experience of personal conversation and good food without the loud noise of a normal bar with tvs blairing. The service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive to us. We started out with garlic bread and had the tomato, basil and mozzarella as our appetizer. The portions were perfect size for two people to split and it was delicious. With the attentiveness of the waitress, she knew exactly when to come clear our plates and gave us just enough breathing time to digest before bringing out our salads which the house dressing was amazing. For the main course, I had the chicken and spinach canneloni which came out in a large portion. I was only able to eat half but it was hard for me to stop eating because it was so good! My gf had the chicken sorrentino which was also a very large portion that she could only eat half of as well which she describe as Uhhmazing. Needless to say, we both have lunch for tomorrow :-)I followed that up with a cup of coffee and as a treat on the house for my gfs birthday, the manager brought her a cordial of grand marnier which she also described as strong yet uhhhmazing and rich. The coffee (which im not big on coffee) was so good I asked him what kind of coffee it was and he gave me a small sample of the grinds to take home with me.Overall, the atmosphere was nice and the food and service was absolutely phenomenal and we look forward to returning for dinner again. Thank you Leos for a wonderful experience.
He doesnt even deserve a star. The manager of this restaurant is unbelievably rude and arrogant. His behavior was extremely unprofessional as he claimed my tip of $.28 was gay. It was offensive to my sister who is struggling with her sexuality. I would never give another dime to support this horrible restaurant. The chicken parm was not authentic Italian food, it was simply chicken fingers and cheese and sauce. It tasted grotesque.
The food was okay, absolutely nothing to brag about. The service is horrible and rude, I never comment or review negatively, sometimes people have bad days but these people are horrible, not helpful, irritable and I will never spend a dime there again after my last attempt to order food. Theyre lame, Id rather go the extra distance for better food and great customer service than waste my time and money on their mediocre left out pizza and bad service, youve been warned ;)
I have been a customer for some time now an I have never had a problem until today: I called to place a order from my cell phone:I misunderstood the boy on the phone and for some reason we got disconnected: a little bit later I called from my home phone so we wouldnt be disconnected: I ordered my chicken parm dinner: after I hung up I realized the price was different from 2 nights ago: same order: so I called back well this boy simply told me if I wanted to cancel my order I could: I said no I want my order just want to know why the price was 3 dollars more: he was very angry and told me sorry we cant deliver to you and hung up on me::wow: if this is the way you treat loyal customers: I feel very sorry for your business: I did nothing wrong and I am in the food business I know better: very sad:
This is the 2nd time I call to place an order, and have received horrible customer service both times. When I asked for his name he told me Jimmy Romano. This guy had the worst attitude I have ever dealt with at an establishment. How is someone like this still working here? I am never going to this place again and do not recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the horrible customer service and go to another pizzeria.
Didnt like item that was bought due to the fact it was completely something different. (Apparently they make it different) Instead of arguing with me about how they do things and how long and the difference I felt I should of just been offered to change item...But instead got a item no one cares to eat and a very rude employee on the phone. Last thing on his mind was to please this customer.....Lesson learned ask whats inside the item....
Ordered a salad, a slice of plain pizza and two sodas, it hadnt arrived after an hour, so I called it asked about the status of my order from an hour ago and the guy who picked up the phone was rude and try to argue that 55 minutes wasnt quite an hour! I didnt get my order until over an hour and ten minutes after I ordered it.
Being a moron isnt easy but when people like the manager act the way they do, it doesnt help. The food isnt even good and its not even Italian. Im just gonna say that this is a paragraph for my thesis in the art of criticism. The restaurant is anyTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL BUT THE FOOD IS EVEN WORSE. Sorry for caps, caps lock was on. Ill start with my fifth birthday. I got a dog for my birthday. I loved it so much. But then i got hit by a drunk driver. And you sell alcoholic beverages so it was your fault. I smoked a blunt that day, I had to take my mind off of the fact that a drunk guy killed my dog.The next day my mommy could smell the weed on me. She got the belt out and whipped my bum bum twenty times.
Of the 3 times we have ordered from here they have messed up the order every time. The first time, they were busy so we chalked it up to that. The two other times, there was no reason for it. All three orders were placed online so there should be no confusion about what we ordered.
This is my first review, like ever.. but honestly this is my way of putting my experience out there. leos food wasnt all it was chatted up to be but i wouldnt have minded if the manager or boss or owner spoke out to me and my friends(idk which one it was).. He was extremely rude, and ive never been so disgusted. the girls i was with were young, like 12 and 13 and this man was calling them disgusting, trashy, and just white trash. the fact that someone would say that to young girls or even anyone is just beyond disrespectful.. One of the girls put a quarter and a penny in the tip jar just cus, and than he looked in the jar and said thats gay and you bitches are cheap. i personally felt attacked and i cant imagine what effect he left on those girls being spoken to by a 30 or 40 year old man.i really have no words other than i will never spend a penny, or walk through that door again.
Ordered one thing a Greek chicken salad I walk out and look at the food and no chicken so I go back in and tell them there is no chicken he tells me thats not what I ordered I told him that I said three words Greek chicken salad and he gives me an attitude instead of saying sorry and getting me the chicken then the cook comes out from the back drinking a corona beer maybe if you do your drinking after work you might be able too get one lousy order right idiots

2022-01-22Regular customer orders a Lg pie half chicken cutlet / onion and ham. Patiently waited for it. Told the staff to take there time no rush. I never knew what under cooked pizza was until now. Very disappointed threw the pizza right in the trash. My toddler was so upset- and the staff apologize and suggested to bring it back. It was 7pm it wasn’t even worth it at this point. But since they didn’t even suggest a voucher or discount for the trouble I took a picture to show them that this was NOT edible. Not cool. The pizza was sticky ! So gross. Will not order in the future.

2022-02-15One of the top quality Italian family run pizzeria and restaurant In the area. My favorite pizza was the margarita, grandma, and Sicilian pies. If you’re feeling in the mood for a nice dinner out the dinning area is excellent with a fantastic dinner menu and the bartender is always spot on with drink recommendations! Must go!

2022-02-04I think Im officially done with Leos! I just get sick and tired of the packer of delivery food leaving things out of my order. Then, I have to call. Someone in my family has to go without. Tonight, it was the bread! Someone was supposed to come back but NEVER did. When you order a dinner for $20, you expect to receive everything. THAT was just one item, my order was $80. I told my family to find some other place for our weekly splurge who will appreciate our business. We stayed at the party too long. BTW, I can tell canned mushrooms from fresh mushrooms in the Chicken Marsala. They are not the Ristorante they used to be.

2016-08-07Excellent service, waitress was very attentive to our party of 4. Great value. Portions are larger than most (a small pizza will easily feed 2). Tasty food.
