I made an appointment with Mike to get my radiator installed. I asked what the cost would be, he says we charge $80 an hour, it could take 1,2,3 hours, it depends how long it takes, idk. Looking back, that was my first sign I shouldn’t have gone here. Any reputable shop should be able to tell me how long a repair will take in order to give an accurate estimate. Most repair shops use a labor calculator to do this. I drop the car off and asked to use the restroom and I was told there wasn’t a restroom for customers. Second sign I should’ve left bc Even most gas stations will let you use the bathroom if you buy somethingI get a call later that my car is ready, it’s $300 and its cash only. When I advised I wasn’t told only cash, he said “well cash helps us with our payroll. If you use a card it’s a 4% fee plus tax.” I know most places will waive the tax if you pay cash but I’m paying $300 and you can’t pay the $3 credit card transaction fee? Even a corner store deli will waive the card fee if you spend $5-10. Again, poor customer service. If shop policy is cash only or 4% card fee then all of that should be stated before the repair is started so customers can be prepared. What if I had no cash? When I arrived to pickup the guy at the counter immediately asked how much cash I had. Third sign. why are we discussing how much cash I have and we haven’t even discussed the repair. Tell me what you’ve done, show me the breakdown of cost…why is your concern how I’m paying as soon as I walk in? he had the car for about 3 hours and I was quoted $80/hour that’s $240. I had previously gotten quotes for $268 and $250 so $300 wasn’t a far fetched price. I just wanted to see the summary breakdown like most reputable repair shops give you. Instead of directly answering my question, he tells me they gave me a good price, did me a favor, they even did extra work. Then he proceeds to ask google what the cost is to replace a radiator on my make and model car. He shows me his phone and says it could’ve been $1300-$1500 job but they did me a favor by only charging $300. Then the mechanic comes out and tells me he changed the radiator, and the “extra work” he did: tightened the bolts on my fender that were loose. I also asked him to look at the fender clips to see if they could be repaired bc it looked like they were broken and he said he was able to zip tie one but not the other. I appreciate him tightening the bolts but unless it costs $60 to tighten bolts, I’m still not understanding the additional charges. I purchased the radiator, 2 gallons of coolant, we used my old condenser so all I needed was the radiator installed. there’s no way a simple radiator install is $1300-$1500 if I’m bringing you the radiator. But let’s entertain this idea of for arguments purposes. if it was supposed to be $1300-1500 to install a radiator then why would you charge me $1,000 LESS? We all appreciate a good savings but As a business owner, that makes no sense. If I couldnt afford it I wouldn’t have scheduled the repair. I just want to know exactly what I’m paying for and most shops are very transparent about this but from the beginning this shop wasn’t. I just bought my car into Nissan for diagnosis last week bc I had a steering issue. They said I needed to replace my lower steering knuckle. I asked how much the part was and they said $323, with labor $564. There was no hesitation, they didn’t say idk it could be 1 or 2 or 3 hours. They didn’t say $180 on the phone and increase it to $200 when I came in. be honest and honor the same pricing you quote on the phone in person. It’s only $60 but it’s the dishonesty in pricing guised as “doing me a favor” that frustrated me . Since no one could explain the charges to me, I did not sign the receipt for the $72 and I immediately called my bank when I left and told them everything. I disputed the $60 charge, sent photos, my phone records and my receipt and they opened an investigation. The install work was good but everything else about this experience was poor.

I took my vehicle to get service, they did not complete my keyless entry and they did not complete my remote starter, plus they couldnt hook up my radio properly, I will never recommend ANYONE to this place... When Eddie owned that place , he had good service and finished EVERY part of my vehicle with no problem. I WISH Eddie had that place BACK

Level up auto is filled with people who are compassionate and go out of their way to work with their customers on what they want and what they need. Not only that, but their quality and knowledge is beyond what I expected. I have purchased a car , purchased rims, got tints done , brakes done , and more. They also ordered accessories for my car to spice it up like I wanted. I was even able to finance the rims I wanted! And the owner traveled to get my rims for me so I can have them the very next day instead of waiting. I appreciate their service and genuine characteristics. Thank you level up Auto ! I will be back !

Had a really great experience at LevelUp auto. I dropped off my fiancé’s truck to get tints done. They gave us the BEST price in town. After I dropped the truck off todo the tints it was done within 3 hours and they even delivered the truck back to me at my job. I normally don’t go to places on Main Street just because I get nervous but LevelUp auto is great and I will always recommend and bring my vehicles there. Great customer service!!!

Salute to the techs at level up!!!! I needed some tint work done on a 2008 honda fit and the hooked it up! The price was right for me, it only took about 1hr & 45 mins, and they turned my car from a fish bowl into a whip i could feel comfortable in. Definitely recommend them to everyone in need of anything repair or custom related. Thanks again fellas i will be returning to have more work done💯

I had a incident with these people about a job they done ,they give a price then did the job wrong, putting something i didnt wanted ,when i specifically told him what i wanted. try to work something with them asking them to refund me a least 30% and they refuse making up excuses sayin that it took them more time that what they told me to get the job done , sayin that they do me favor charging me only $250 WHEN THEY TOLD ME IT WILL ONLY TAKE 2 HRS. they keep my car for 4 hrs . how is that my fault, and on top of that they put the wrong product . try to be polite and ask just for 30% money back but no . poor costumer satisfaction , clearly they learn something from the people who own the shop before them ..

If you drive a Benz (or any car that basically runs on computer such as bmw , Tesla’s or other HIGH END vehicles) & want a new system.... don’t bother with these young guys. They claim they know what they’re doing to over charge you for computer bypassing to only have a system fail on u 3-4 months later. At that point they’ll tell you it’s your fault & that if they had anything to do with it; the system would’ve failed in “2-3 days”........... anyone who knows how a system works will tell u; if you get a system put in you’ll know over 90 days if it was done correctly top to bottom. (This is the point and reason behind a 90 day warranty) Paid over $700 for an installation with speakers, amp, and radio - thought I was getting a deal because at first they were talking about over $1200 to install & bypass the computer. Should’ve known with the hard price drop I was going to run into problems. The install was ultimately thrown together just enough to produce sound and because the computer programming was set incorrectly I ran into heavy problems. Also ALWAYS PAY THEM WITH CARD TO KEEP THE BANKS INVOLVED . DO NOT PAY THEM WITH CASH BECAUSE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG YOU ARE SOL (these guys are sneaky, they’ll tell you your card declined & will threaten u with police all so you can bring them cash and they can protect their a*%) GOOD LUCK

Did me a huge solid, checking my engine when it went wonky on a road trip. Ran a diagnostic, and gave me solid advice, all on the fly. Chris is a good guy.

Got an amp and speakers installed for $250 last month (not bad) but then found out later they used improper wires, 10V when I specified 12V, and the speakers kept cutting off. I replaced it myself and had no problems. Now one of my subs isn’t working at all. Called to set up something, They hung up on me after explaining. Poor customer service. Really disappointing and unprofessional to say the least.
