Delivery was great and very easy to schedule with only a days notice. Mulch looks great and driver was professional. He even made sure to ask for a rake to remove every last bit from the bed. Will definitely use for future mulch and other landscaping material needs.

The driver was prompt helpful and friendly. He dumped the wood as contracted, exactly where I asked. The wood was clean and aged and the count was exactly what I ordered. The price was competitive for the winter months and I couldn’t be more satisfied.

LI mulch was fantastic!! It was the cheapest around and the mulch was beautiful. To make it even better, they delivered the next day on a Saturday!! I am now able to do everything this weekend that I wanted before I have to go back to work. Recommend 100%!!
Everyone I have talked to was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. The pricing was the best I was able to find for mulch, they were 24% less than another price from someone that I was a repeat client of, well no more. The price was all in - no hidden additional fees. Delivery was fast and as promsed. The driver was friendly and professional.The mulch looks great and while Ive delt with companies that promise a great price and then when the mulch comes its cheap looking and you know you have been shorted. All I can say is that they definitely did not send a light shipment, in fact it looks a big on the heavy side. The most impotant thing is it does not stink to the high heavens like another company who is in Coram who I will not mention.One of the many things that impressed me was the driver removed a pole from his truck after the dump and started removing the mulch that was stuck to the sides and floors as well as in the crease of the bed. That for me is a first.You wont go wrong using this local company.
I was referred to this company couldn’t be happier. I called for a few questions all answered. The gentleman that answered was kind, attentiveness and professional. I was blow away with the same day service and the color of the mulch is beautiful! So glad I went with cocoa brown. Will definitely use this company every time for mulch!

Being a business owner i recognized the professionalism,punctuality,communication,with Li Firewood and mulch.Having 27yards of mulch spread out throughout my property these men worked extremely hard but most of all they were as neat as can be.I was nervous when they were spreading mulch around the entire pool area,needless to say there wasnt a spec of dirt that went into the pool..I highly recomend this company .Great pricing also..
Ordered 2 cords of seasoned wood most is not seasoned and if it is its water logged. UpdateOwner called me back yesterday seemed like a nice guy said he would do what he could to make things right. Said would was seasoned just probably water logged do to storing.

BEWARE, BEWARE. I should have not accepted this delivery after it was dumped on the driveway but I did. I ordered seasoned wood for my home fireplace, 1/2 cord. What I received was a mix of huge blocks of wood that have to be split, hunks and pieces of scrape wood. The wood was damp and dirty. Some of the wood was seasoned but at least 1/3 was not. I tested by knocking two pieces of wood together to hear if their was a thud or a nice cracking sound. The pictures show the stacked wood and two containers with the scrape wood. This wood was delivered an August 6th, 2020. I will never order again
Best prices around! I have been using them for years. Mulch is always rich and healthy. I have also used them for dirt fill and top soil. Delivery was fast!

The site was easy to use to purchase mulch. The price was fair. The delivery was on time and the driver was kind. He placed the mulch exactly where we requested.
After several calls to arrange a firewood delivery, the people at this place promised it was seasoned firewood. I asked repeatedly for them to give me their word. It was clearly not seasoned. I called them after a week and they said “oh it rained you have to let it dry back out”. After receiving the wood I stored it in a dry spot w airflow, covered from the elements. Here we are 4 months later with disgusting wood ruining my fireplace. Don’t trust this place at least w their firewood.
Ordered Fire Wood on their website. It was easy and straight forward. Received a call from the office shortly after to confirm all details. Even called to deliver early because it was scheduled to rain on my scheduled delivery day. Made it so I could get the delivery and stack it before the bad weather hit. Great service. I recommend and would use them again.
I would highly recommend LI Firewood and mulch. I used the online chat and they responded right away. They actually delivered the wood the next day at 7am with a polite and very happy gentleman. Very happy.

Very unhappy. Specifically asked if there would be a lot of dirt with the wood. I was told the wood is screened and there will be a lot of kindling but not dirt or rocks... literally EVERY piece of wood is covered in dirt .. some pieces look liked they were stored in mud. I had almost an entire wheelbarrow full of dirt and rocks. This company should be embarrassed. I was also told this is seasoned wood. Yeah... then stored in water. I will never deal with them again . Worst part was that I skipped substantially less cost of wood from other companies because I was skeptical of 150 a cord... so paid 282 with tax and got just as ripped off. I will NEVER reccomended.
Bob was amazing, he helped me out choosing wood for my fireplace. When I had a concern he didn’t hesitate to send me more wood. I highly recommend this crew for anything you need. There professionalism is amazing!

Took delivery of fully seasoned firewood. Had some concerns about the quality of wood that I received. Happy to report that Bob the owner immediately called me back and addressed those concerns. Honestly explained how his firewood is processed and seasoned. Looked to do anything he could to make sure that I’m satisfied with the product- especially when I look to start using firewood in November. Thank you and I look forward to ordering from you again.
This place is the worst. I ordered semi-seasoned firewood from them. I have a few complaints actually. First, they told me they would call me before coming. They didnt, and decided to just show up and dump a pile of wood 2 feet behind my tenants car in the driveway. So instead of stacking the wood over 3-4 days I had to spend hours doing it that day so she could use her car. I called them and they said they would send there guys back to help... Never sent anyone. They are liars. Also, the wood is terrible! Nothing like the pictures online. Ill post a picture of the online wood, then mine. It doesnt burn at all. Its a waste of wood, and a waste if money. (picture with the huge pile of wood is from their site, then its an up close picture of my wood, then a picture of where they dumped it behind the car)

Im going to give them another try when I am ready for my next delivery. This was my first time using LI firewood and Mulch for firewood. I ordered semi seasoned. Most of the wood needs to be re-split I would say about 3/4 of the pile. There are massive splits in there that definitely wont fit in my stove. The online ordering was convenient though. Just not sure if I would try again.

I ordered from LI firewood and mulch for my last big delivery. I got two cords as it was cheaper then, so I stocked up! In that ordered I did receive some larger stumps that had to be discarded. This time when I ordered I had asked for as little stumps as possible, as I know some companies cannot help that. Let me tell you!!! They got my order so perfect I stacked/stored every piece. We have tons of kindling and pieces that will do well for cold nights when we damp the stove. This company is really great and did verify that I still wanted the order even if some stumps might be included. The wood is well seasoned and I will probably always use this company for future purchases.
Other then reschedule of original delivery to a different day it all went smoothly. The young man did a very nice neat job of stacking wood but the size of the pieces was slightly more varied then promised. He did however separate them for me so I can have them split into more usable pieces. Very good service

We are so happy with our recent order of seasoned firewood. In the past, from other providers, weve gotten mud covered semi-seasoned wood for a higher price so we have been skeptical to order anywhere, but LI Firewood provided great product, a good price, and very timely and friendly delivery. We will order again!
Conveniently placed order with sales associate via text message, was very helpful and informative. Ordered 1/2 cord of kiln dried wood, it was delivered the same day. Very little scraps/chunks after stacking the logs. I have also purchased bagged kiln dried wood from them in the past. The bagged wood overall was slightly cleaner (less dirty in appearance) but I was informed prior to delivery the bags are hand picked to be that way and come at a higher price for that reason.
I am extremely pleased with the service. Ordered late the night before and had my delivery first thing the next morning. Will definitely be using them in the future.

Finally found a firewood supplier that delivers a full cord. Ordered 2 cords it was delivered when it was scheduled as promised. Actual content was a little over 2 cords. I was told it would be over but I was skeptical but I was assured they would deliver more if it was short. Ive been told that before but no one has ever come back as promised &no one has ever delivered a full 128 cubic ft cord either. I will definitely be buying from them again.

This is wood is supposed to be seasoned, its not. I ordered a cord of wood in September. I had asked if it was seasoned. I was assured that it was. In fact the woman on the other end said it was seasoned for over 10 months. Well, this wood does not burn well. It is a pissing, hissing mess of unseasoned wood. As soon as the kindling burns off, the fire goes out.You would would think that a place that specifically mentioned Firewood in their business name would be a reliable source of firewood...they are not. Save your self the aggrivation and buy it from someone else.

My first time using this company and they were awesome!!! I ordered 5 yards of black mulch and had their staff put down the mulch in front and backyard. They were professional, quick and friendly. Afterwards they cleaned up all the areas where mulch spilled onto driveway and patio.I used to order from Got Mulch, but not anymore. I called them, and had 2 cords of seasoned wood delivered to my house within an hour.. some needs to be re-split but its expected.. the wood was dirty but seasoned.. I will take dirt over green wood any day... definitely got a new firewood service, thank you and I have to say .. Outstanding service!!

Ive been getting my fire wood from LI Firewood for a few years now because the wood is actually seasoned. A lot of places advertise seasoned wood, but it is not! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they come on time. Any questions or concerns you may have are easily answered. The owner will even personally handle any issues and I feel he always has the customers best interest at heart.
Update : I received a delivery of 1 cord seasoned wood extremely muddy due to rain , I was upset at first but...The Owner sent me another batch of wood to fix the problem and now Im happy with this purchase now .Thanks for making this better. I will try kiln-dried next from you soon.
All hard wood and all uniform in size. No dirt or other junk mixed in ( as mentioned in their ad ) delivery was professional and on time. Price was about average but they go the extra mile to screen it to remove the dirt and no one else that as far as I know. I will definitely be using them again.
LI Firewood & Mulch were awesome. My Son was doing his Eagle Scout Project and Tyler and Bobby were very helpful. Delivery was ontime and dumped perfectly. They have the best prices and selection.
Not seasoned 10-12 months like the web site said, more like 6 months. Delivery guy dropped the wood so my gate wouldn’t close and just left it open. Didn’t tell us and my dogs got out.
Company is very responsive. Wood is seasoned and prices are fair. They also have the option to have the wood stacked at an additional charge. My only complaint is some of the wood maybe 5% is to big and needs to be split again to fit in the stove and burn correctly.

Could not be happier!! These guys are the best! Not only were they friendly and patient when they gave me an education on firewood, but they had it to me the next day! Super fair prices, but seriously - nothing beats the outstanding customer service!
Beware when you order firewood from these guys. I ordered a cord of wood. I was asked if I wanted seasonly dry or semi dry wood. The dry wood was 275.00 a cord, semi was I think about 75 dollars cheaper. I specifically ordered dry seasoned wood. The didnt stack so they would dump it on the driveway. I agreed. After delivery I paid 275.00 plus even a tip. I started to move and stack the wood. After a few days I realized this wood was freshly cut and wouldnt burn, not to mention a lot of pieces were so big they wouldnt fit in my fireplace. The best part was they left over 250 pounds of wood garbage on my driveway 6 construction bags full of rocks, concrete pieces and wood stuff. I cannot use this wood this year. I contacted Bobby W, (OWNER) he responded to me by asking me what town. After that, no respond. So, I have a cord of wood that is wet, I was overcharged for something I did not ask for (WET WOOD). All I wanted was apology, and maybe I will take care of you next time, I would have been satisfied.I will report them to the BBB as well.

I am rather disappointed with the quality of wood I received. I was expecting clean seasoned and proportionally chopped wood. The wood I received was very muddy and some of it in large chunks. Very disappointing.
Ill know more and be able to leave a more true review once i attempt to burn my cord of Long Island Sound driftwood. Im waiting for a rain storm to wash the mud covered wood to see what it actually looks like.***EDIT***I used some of the wood in question today. To be fair, IT BURNED BEAUTIFULLY. Dirty or not, it was usable. I will purchase from them again!!!

After receiving the wood delivery I wasnt all to happy with the quality of the pieces I recieved. Their customer service is top notch and they were able to rectify the issue pretty hassle free.

Bought 2 cords and asked specifically to not be sold bad wood..... I got ant infested wood, rotten wood,Almost 10% of delivery is unusable scrap or wood knotted so much it can’t be split by hand. I have a pile of wood “chunks” that are unusable and not what I was promised. Even after explaining the difficulty I’ve had in the past getting good fire wood these guys delivered scraps...At least 25% of this load will be returned.Don’t waste you money.

Don’t waste your money! Should have read the reviews before ordering... ordered a cord of seasoned wood, most of which is unusable and all of which was not seasoned. They delivered it in the rain (even after assuring me they would change the delivery date/time if it rained) so the wood was soaking wet upon delivery. The truck was uncovered and exposed to the rain for the 40minute drive here, for the hour it took the guy to unload and then he did not cover it even though the cover was sitting next to the rack. We covered it as soon as we noticed and still the wood is moldy and soaking wet even days after the fact. Most of the wood we will not be able to burn. Extremely disappointed. Will not use this company again.
Had black mulch delivered. Driver put it exactly where I wanted it and the mulch is great looking. The color is nice and deep and the consistency is really nice. Will order from them again!

Message I wrote to them on their website message board- Feb 3rd.Just got this delivery. I have been using you guys since we moved in 7 years ago. Really hard to light this firewood. Im using up all my kindling to keep these logs lit. I want to know if your yard has any fully seasoned firewood that can be delivered. Or a refund of the last delivery. Im not trying to be rude, I just rely on my wood stove during the winter and its frustrating to put this much time and energy keeping it lit. Christopher S.No answer via email or call. Really dont recommend them. Taking advantage of customers, especially in winter, and not responding to messages is final nail in coffin. We will be using someone else unless they do the right thing.
After receiving my order from this place, they asked me to write a review. I gave them 2 stars because the delivery was quick and easy, but the firewood is clearly not seasoned AT ALL despite paying extra for wood described as seasoned for 10-12 months. They posted the review to their web-site as a 5 star review and only posted the part about the delivery being smooth. What a joke. These folks are obviously scammers. Stay away. I won’t be able to burn the wood they gave me for months
The customer service was great. Called them on Monday made my order and had it delivered the next day. No wait and the wood is clean and ready to burn.
Fair price, easy online ordering and quick delivery. They delivered the wood in 1 day but I received less than my purchase. It took a another 10 days and multiple follow-ups to have them deliver the remainder.
The price and service was great. They where very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that I ordered the 15 dollar a yard brown wood chips thinking they would last that color the summer, only to have them fade out about a week or so later. Little disappointed in that.

I just got my delivery not only was the driver nice but he was aware of his surroundings. I have low hanging phone lines and he carefully maneuvered his truck to get in. The firewood was fully seasoned and the sizes were perfect stacking sizes. I highly recommend Long Island firewood.

I ordered a cord of seasoned through the Li Firewood and Mulch website and had a great experience. I was able to live chat with someone who was able to give me a good deal on wood, delivery and stacking. They delivered on Saturday and I burned the wood that night. Very pleased with the wood and the customer service. 10/10.

I ordered a cord of seasoned firewood and the order taker said they would call when they would deliver the firewood. They showed up with no phone call about 5 days later. They delivered a short cord of clearly unseasoned wood as I am staring at two logs that will not light after 30 minutes on hot coals. I have a moisture meter so I checked muliple pieces of wood and they are all over 20% moisture.I did get a bill adjustment as far as the short cord but did receive any discount for unseasoned wood. There are also alot of shorts and scrap. I very disappointed with this company. The only good thing were the delivery guys.
Technically delivered the wood we ordered, stacked it and then it immediately fell over the same day. After MANY calls asking for them to come back and fix their work, were completely ignored and had to stack ourselves after paying for stacking. Will never use (or recommend) again.
I Called them up and they were here within three hours with two cords of wood right before this major storm that’s coming for 2022!
I had a few yards of rca delivered. The gentleman that scheduled the delivery was very polite and set up delivery for the following day. The driver was also very friendly and professional. He was on time and unloaded the rca exactly where we needed it.
I was skeptical about ordering from Li Firewood and Mulch- reason being the reviews. However, I spoke to the owner, Bob, who made me feel confident that I would be getting what I want. The people who said that wood was wet I’m sure were not aware that the wood is stored outside. Once I put a tarp over it and let it sit for 2 weeks it was perfect (I also ordered semi seasoned so I figured that would be the case!) Great customer service... great product. Would definitely recommend to my neighbors and will sure order from them again.

I used the website and useful online chat with Christy to inquire about the firewood they offer, and this proved a great experience. Not only were all my questions answered to my satisfaction, but I was able to place my first order of a cord of semi-seasoned firewood through the chat, and received delivery on the same Saturday within two hours!! When Don pulled up with the order, he was polite and respectful, and carefully unloaded the firewood as directed. The firewood was clean, free of debris, and exactly what I expected. I had used several other firewood services prior to discovering LI Firewood, and was always disappointed in their product and services. I have finally found the best source I could ask for and will continue to place orders through LI Firewood!
Beware!! This company is terrible! Beware !! BewareHad an ordered delivered from this company yesterday, for 250.00 for a cord , delivered. It was supposed to be fully seasoned wood. What we received was far from that, first the pieces were not cut up, they were wet and not seasoned at all, most of the pieces were freshly cut.. we even received pieces that were cut telephone poles. After calling the company to voice are concerns, and to receive a new cord he told us he wasn’t going to a dam thing , he told me that his company is worth 3 million dollars and he doesn’t care to lose a few customers. This company is a complete joke, don’t waste your time or your money , the wood doesn’t burn, and if you do burn this wood it will destroy your burner !! Please please look elsewhere
Ordered a cord of seasoned firewood. Ordering was easy. Delivery was quick.Unfortunately the wood is wet and a mess and will not light. I don’t think I will be able to use it for a few months at least.The price was good but not worth it if it doesn’t burn. Would not order again.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered a cord of SEASONED firewood and I got tree trunks that looked like they were cut down the day before they were delivered. Even worse, almost all the logs were full of mud. They don’t burn at all. Complete waste of money and time. This place is a joke! Go ANYWHERE else.

Terrible wood. I ordered and paid for a cord of SEASONED wood and got wood that looks like it was just dug up from a dirt pile. Filthy and not close to being seasoned.
I would give no stars if I could. Ordered a full cord, went over how I heat my house with a wood stove, pieces need to be short and I need seasoned wood. None of the above which was promised was delivered. Massive hunks of wood, more than half of it I had to split with my hand ax... the many long 2’ pieces with my chain saw. Honestly I have never, ever been so disappointed in 15 years of getting firewood. And I question, whether the person cutting the wood had ever 1. Cut wood or 2. Made a fire.And it doesn’t burn! It hisses, and is not seasoned

Received 12 yards of topsoil. The product was of very good quality. It was screened and there was no clay. I ordered the product on a Thursday and it was promptly delivered on time Saturday. I am confidently going to reorder with them to finish off my lawn.

What I should post here is a picture of the smoke in my house. The owner and delivery man could not be nicer, the product could not be worse. Ordered seasoned firewood. I excitedly ran out, collected logs only to be smoked out of my house. A call to Bob was placed and it was agreed after he gave excuse after excuse that he come and swap it out for kiln dried wood. We paid the difference and had the same experience. NEVER AGAIN! I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchase. I will never mind paying top dollar for quality. My home was completely renovated three years ago. It now needs to be painted and my housekeeper had to scrub soot off my cabinets and furniture. Never again. Money is the least of my concerns. Do not do this to your home. The wood is wet and dirty. Never again.

The sales guy and the delivery were fine. The PROBLEM is the quality of the wood. I have a wood-burning stove that eats logs smaller than 18.I was looking for seasoned hardwood that was around 18. The friendly guy, on the phone, from LI Firewood And Mulch promised that most of the pieces would be seasoned and fall into that size range.What I got instead was: muddy logs that were soaked to the bone. At least a 1/3 were light, pithy and pure fluff, the other 1/3 was covered with mud and soaked. And a fair number of logs were huge and will never fit.To be fair to LI Firewood And Mulch, half the load was decent, useable hardwood. The other half will be reserved for beach parties and very expensive outdoor heating, not for heating my home. ;-)I would not recommend this seller as he did not stand by his product, or honor a proposed partial refund based on my pictures and complaints.A delivered chord cost: $240.

It has been a week and the wood is still soaked and moldy. We left it in the sun durning the day and covered it at night. Will not be ordering from them again. The wood will not burn in our stove

Long Island Firewood Review - I recently ordered a full cord of firewood from LI Firewood and Mulch and want to express my disappointment in the quality of firewood I received as well as the quantity I received. My cord was only 2 feet wide, 4 feet high, and 6 feet long. As opposed to 4 4 8. I would have been way more disappointed had the wood I purchased not been wet to the core. The logs dont burn at all.I ended up having to move everything into our shed so it can spend the next 12 months drying out. I do not recommend LI Firewood & Mulch.
I’m not one to complain much or leave reviews but buyer beware... I had a Horrible experience ordered 5 yards of “TOP SOIL” what I got delivered was pure DIRT, sticks and rocks !!!! I know I asked for topsoil but I got land fill unbelievable. Now I don’t know what to do with all this DIRT. Have to pay again. Not an honest company...find another place to purchase your needs.

2022-05-04This was the worst wood delivery I have ever received. I ordered and paid for 7 cords and barely received 5 cords. There was so much debris, little scraps, and dirt that I had to fill my pick up truck 3 times and bring it to the the town landfill to discard. The wood is advertised at 18” average length but that is a lie because almost all the pieces are 16” and under. In addition, the wood ranges from skinny to so large that it needs to be split several times before stacking.The owner is too busy coming up with calculations that have no relevance to the amount of wood that was delivered, instead of offering a resolution. At the end of the day, I did not receive even close to the amount I paid for. I would never order wood from them again, or recommend them in good faith to anyone I know. Pure junk and a complete waste of time and money.

2022-01-22Ordered a cord of wood that was delivered completely covered in mud that would need to be cleaned before bringing it in my house. Gave the company a chance at making things right before posting a review and was told that all of their wood was like that and it’s normal. I’ve gotten wood from many other suppliers before and never had to clean the wood before being able to use it.I can understand some dirt and grime, it’s firewood, not carpentry lumber but this was obviously from a dirt lot, loaded with a bucket loader from the bottom of a dirty pile.Very disappointed, I’m a business owner that lives and dies by customer service, I guess these guys don’t. Go elsewhere for your firewood needsUpdate: after reading some other reviews this is obviously a recurring problem.Update part 2: that’s terrific that you offered me some clean kiln dried wood but I would still have to clean up all of the other wood that I paid for to bring it into my house. You told me that it was kept on concrete, which based on your own pictures of your facility it’s kept in the mud, not on concrete. Are you actually blaming me for ordering wood after rain and snow? Based on other reviews this is not a new problem.

2021-11-07We received our delivery of wood yesterday, and it was seasoned and delivered on the date/time requested. The company called to confirm delivery that morning and the driver made it down our narrow driveway without incident. We ordered a full cord and some of the pieces were larger than expected, but nothing an ax cant fix. Thanks LI Firewood and Mulch!

2022-01-22We ordered a cord of seasoned firewood, it showed up full of dirt and mud making it much harder to burn than expected. Not pleased for the price we paid for wood that should be 12+ month seasoned.Update: After speaking with Rob, we are updating our review from 2 to 5 stars. Rob offered a few different avenues to address our concerns with the delivery and really took the time to answer our questions and explain options. To my wife and I, this is top level customer service and it is clear that LI Firewoods number one priority is customer satisfaction. Within a couple hours, the company delivered on our agreed resolution and we will without question be repeat customers at LI Firewood and Mulch.

2022-05-06I order 3 loads of different materials for a morning delivery before 12p. The material was seems good but it didn’t start arriving until after 2pm and I didn’t receive the 3rd load at all until the next day. I was told it was a 15$ delivery charge on each load, but when I purchased the material off the website it only had a one time 15$ delivery charge. It would have been good business to at least waive that second and third fee since it wasn’t a point of sale charge. Unfortunately I will probably be purchasing material from another business with customer service and quality material as their main concerns not one or the other.

2021-10-11Received my order Sept. 13th I stacked it and covered it with good quality rack covers. Was really concerned about the quality but stacked it and covered it. I decided to remove some wood from the rack so I could burn outside and noticed the wood is very dirty compared to my prior company and it looks like there is white mold all over the wood. I am very concerned about burning this wood in my fireplace around my two young ones and feel stuck with all this wood. I tried reaching out but nothing. Does anyone feel as though this wood is safe? I have wood leftover from last year (Different dealer) and it still looks way cleaner than this wood. Any comments would be appreciated...Updated 10/11... Owner reached out and offered to pick up the wood. Could not replace it due to all of his wood being the same, but thats OK. Giving only 3 stars due to loosing out on $75 delivery fee for a problem that was not my fault at all, but happy I didnt take a loss on the whole $200. Take this info as a customer and do what you will with it...
