Earnest Walton was friendly and also did a good job explaining everything they did and what services will be needed soon. The service was speedy, considering there was a special that day on services. I love that there is an area there that has a place I can work while I wait and it’s quiet. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is always very friendly. The only bad thing is the temptation to buy a new Honda when I’m there LOL
Steve Smith listens and is very knowledgeable about what my concerns were and how to meet them. The work was completed correctly and promptly. I really appreciated the whole service experience and the excellence of the whole service team. Need help or a question answered...with confidence I just call Steve Smith in the service department.
I always bring my cars to Lia Honda because of the great service they provide. While there are many good service advisers at Lia, my regular adviser is Joe WIley. Hes dependable and knowledgeable about my cars history and needs. I highly recommend both Joe and Lia Honda.
The service was a basic 5000-mile checkup which included oil and filter change as well as tire rotation and general check of all fluids. An annual inspection was also completed. Steve Smith has been our advisor for many years and consistently offers high quality, complete, knowledgeable, friendly and professional services. I always ask for Steve directly and highly recommend him to anyone needing service at Lia Honda in Albany. Thanks Steve as always!!
Joe Calabucci took care of my scheduled appointment. He let me know I had a credit that I could use toward my visit. He apologized ahead of time that they were busy and it may be a bit since I was going to wait. Within an hour, they had everything done and the car washed waiting for me. He checked on me while I was waiting. He was friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end of my appointment.
Shawn Herald was my service agent. He checked me in for my appointment and gave me the estimate of both cost and time. I waited in the customer lounge and my service was done just ahead of schedule and slightly under the estimate. I would return to Lia Honda and Shawn Herald as my service agent again.I got great service at a great price!
I took my vehicle in for the annual NYS inspection. My service was performed by Joe Calabucci. As always, I was treated with the utmost professionalism & respect. I truly appreciate Joe & the service team at LIA Honda, & take my car there for all its service needs.

2012 Ridge line , RT , 134,000 miles.Preventative maintenance (replace radiator) scheduled for 7AM In the door at 7 and met by Wes (Harrington) the service rep. I was given a time and cost estimate. Both were close to actual time / cost and were acceptable. Based on past experience at Lia I used them instead of two other dealers that were closer to home. As with ALL dealers, the labor cost per hour is high and Honda parts are not cheap but I need this Ridgeline to last another 10 years or more.
The car would not show the seats and steering wheel were heating up, using the remote starter. Steve Smith investigated the issue, found the answers and explained the problem to us in words we could understand. He was very polite and easy to talk to.
Wes Harrington was the gentleman who helped me service my vehicle. Always professional. Very detailed and let me know of additional issues that were detected during the 360 inspection. Great service! Will be going here as long as I own a Honda. Keep up the great work.
I went to Lia because my low tire light was on for a week. The tech filled the tires but the light came back on. He reset the computer, and all is well.

Joe Calabucci greeted me the moment I arrived for my oil change. He was friendly, personable, courteous and knowledgeable. My Accord had 30,000 miles so at his and Hondas recommendation I asked that transmission and brake fluid be replaced. I explained that I was scheduled for a doctors appointment and he assured me the car would be ready in time despite the added service. Joe was true to his word, all service was completed, the car was washed and off I went to continue my busy day.
I didn’t have an appointment but was in need of a battery so I drove into the service department at 4:50 pm. The place was immaculate . I was immediately greeted by a technician and I explained my situation. I expected to make an appointment for the next day since they closed in 10 minutes. The technician called another coworker over to replace the battery and then escorted me to the check out to pay the bill. I pulled away from the dealership at 4:57 with a brand new battery. I know it was a simple fix but I really appreciated the service and professional attitude of all the staff I encountered. Lia Honda Rocks! I will definitely be back!

Came in for tire repair and also had an oil change done. Joe Wiley was service rep and was efficient and straightforward; clearly explained service covered by my plan. Process was east and smooth.
Had an issue going back to early summer with the AC on my 2016 Civic. It made a funny sound when it was on. Another local dealer said there was nothing wrong. At Lia the problem was diagnosed as a bad compressor. The compressor along with the AC line was replaced, under warranty, and the problem was resolved. Glad I got a second opinion. Now the AC is running like new. Many thanks to Joe, the service advisor, for pursuing the issue. Thank You!

Over priced... I bought my car here and went in for a 30k mile service.... This is the only place I get my car serviced since Im sure its genuine parts plus this is where I bought my car... The parts were $180. .. not bad but the services rendered for a 70 mins job cost $550 totalling $730

I came in to have my rear brakes replaced. Turned out I didnt need them replaced. They were cleaned-up and reassembled, and my tires were rotated free of charge. 2022-03-25I brought my car in and as always Stephen Smith took care of it. He fixed a leaking valve, made sure the air pressure was good, and the tires were aligned. While sitting in my car he noticed my sunroof was making a funny noise. He replaced the motor and now it is working great. I really appreciate how thorough Stephen is. He listens to my concerns and explains everything in a way I can understand. I appreciate you accommodating my schedule Stephen and also making time to fit me in. You are the BEST! I only bring my CR-V to Lia Honda Albany and only for Stephen Smith to look at it. I appreciate all the help of the technicians and customer service at Lia Honda Albany.

Joe got an appointment scheduled in a short time due to my son returning to college. Again it was a great experience and I will continue to go to Joe for any other issues/appointments. He was more than happy to help me understand how to manage my dash notifications. Joe worked hard throughout the time I spent there, respecting my time by updating me on the process of my service. Due to staffing shortages, the wait was longer than usual. Joe thanked me for my patience by offering no charge for this visit. 2022-05-05I had a really positive experience with my service at Lia. Ernie Walton did an excellent job, offering a 5000 mile multipoint inspection special along with an oil change. He even gave me a discount for the tire rotation (free on Fridays) which was a nice surprise! I will definitely return for future service, and would happily refer Lia to friends and family.

2022-05-05Wes did what he could to knock down the $3,000 price tag of everything i needed done (new side view mirror, new all season tires, all new brakes, oil change, etc). Hefty price but drives like dream now. Wes was courteous and gave me regular checkups throughout the day. Good stuff.

2022-01-22I went in for an oil change and ended up needing brakes. I worked with Joe Wiley. He was excellent and went above and beyond. He gave me discounts wherever he could and even cleaned my windows when I mentioned they were filthy. Definitely hope to get him again.
