Wonderful experience at Lia Honda. I went in to buy my first car so I wasnt too sure what to expect. I am very happy to have dealt with Michael Tolliver. He was very helpful, professional, and answered all my questions. He went the extra mile and answered all my texts throughout the weekend. Amazing service, pleasant experience, and wonderful venue. I went in looking for what I seen Online at their website !-Was greeted by a nice sales person A.J Esemplare ,Very Nice & Personable ! He, was very understanding,friendly & understood my price range & etc ! His Customer service was great ! - Went to a few other dealerships but ended up back at this one because the environment was great. Helping me with my Honda also was Robert Schneider he was very friendly & understanding & broke down everything I needed to know which was awesome ! -These two employees were great !
Yesterday I went to Lia Honda to BUY** not look at a car and test drive it and come back later.I was ready to BUY. I was treated terribly by the associate there names AJ and his manager as well. At first I was given a price over the phone by Irene ( she did not notate it in the system) long story short she gave me the wrong price. mind you the price she gave me was listed on LIA OF BREWSTERS website for what she quoted me. This dealer ship is selling there cars 1200 over there listed prices on there website. Its robbery. ALSO, I was called a liar by AJ and had to force him to get his manager involved as he told me the manager wouldnt not do anything better. Once the manager was involved he smooth talked me into believing he would help me. i had gotten a better trade value from friendly Honda and wanted to purchase from brewster ( even after being accused of lying) I was looking for a match on my trade in. The manager told me to go where they offered me that amount for my trade in .. so he pushed me out the door. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER. Horrible customer service! who pushes customers out the door ?! Basically saying they dont need my business. Listen I dont need to buy a car so I WILL NOT give you my business. Friendly Honda is where I will buy all my cars. Dont wast your time with these people they are crooks. AJ even said to me .. well I have to make money on the car so we can give you too much ridiculous.
This dealer seemed great at first. Our sales rep seemed very nice, however, when we found a scratch on the car we were told it would be fixed. This dealership lied and never brought the car over to be fixed and serviced. When asked about it, they finally told us that the kids who move the cars in the lot will sometimes do work if the service center is busy. Well we were told to bring it to the service center and the manager said our car had never been brought in. The salesman was also very rude when confronted that he had lied about the car being fixed. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
My overall experience with Barry Weiss at Lia Honda Brewster was very pleasant. It was my fourth vehicle purchase and by far the best. From the beginning to the end was nothing , but top notch service. I would recommend Barry and Lia to anyone in my inner circle hands down.

I had a great experience at the dealership working with Chris Larson. He was very informative and assisted with my many questions. He was not aggressive (as some sales people can be) and got me great price for a car. Each staff person that I interacted with was pleasant to speak to and seemed to genuinely want to help me find my perfect car. I rate this place a 1 for the fact that zero is not an option. I researched the car online on their company website. This 2017 Honda Accord was supposedly a certified car. My sales rep was Chris Larson and he assured me that he would go above and beyond to make sure I got good deal on a great car. I even put a deposit on the car (just to highlight how serious I was about buying). Upon arriving to the store, Chris didnt even offer for me to see or test drive the car. Rather he wanted to jump right into signing the papers. I asked to look at the car and he complied. We went outside to look at it, and after one basic walk around I realized what kind of dealer and dealership I was dealing with. The rear passenger door had clearly been damaged and it had a terrible paint job. When I asked Chris about it, first he told me its a used car and I should expect some wear and tear. He also said the carfax is clean.. I told him to ignore the report for just a moment and look at the car, does that look like a clean carfax.Thereafter, he raised his voice at me and asked do I want the car or not. Then he tried to negotiate just 500 dollars off the car over damage that was clearly much more than that. I asked him why be couldnt he be straight with me over the phone and tell me about the car. His response he never looked at that side of the car. So much for going above and beyond when he couldnt do something as basic as a generic walk around the car, something I believe any consumer would do. It took a conversation with the General manager who clearly took the blame, called that certified car unacceptable and refunded my deposit. All in all, maybe your experience wasnt like this or wont be like this. But I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A CERTIFIED VEHICLE AT LIA HONDA BREWSTER. That same day I went to Mt Kisco Honda and bought a beautiful accord that we love. Hope this review helps.
My salesman Michael Deleon was fantastic, energetic, positive attitude with a warm smile right from the start. I explained my situation and he hopped right on the task to see what he could do to accommodate what my familys needs were. Working as a team with Robert Schneider the finance manager which by the way was another amazing experience. These two gentlemen were able to secure a rate that beat my original approval by 4% and made sure I felt I was getting what I needed before signing. The whole process took only days and my family and I love our new CRV. Thank you Brewster Honda and the wonderful staff, definitely will be back for my next car and will tell my friends and family to visit you guys!
Overall, I had a great experience with this dealership. Id been looking for used Honda CR-Vs for weeks and was just about to give up on my search - it was too difficult to find a relatively newer model with low mileage at a reasonable price. Fortunately, I stumbled upon one at Brewster Honda that fit all three criteria. It was in near-perfect condition, and any small problems were completely fixed in a timely manner. I thought something had to be wrong with the car - how could the price possibly be that good? - but I brought it to my mechanic, who confirmed that the car was in fantastic shape.This was my first car purchase, and it could not have gone more smoothly. I worked with Jon Saba, who was incredibly helpful when it came to answering my numerous questions and making sure every single document was in order. Let me tell you - I get pretty picky when Im signing papers, so Ill read every word and ask a million questions before I put my name on anything (not to mention all the copies I want afterwards). Jon couldnt have been more patient, and his great sense of humor made the whole process so much less stressful.All in all, I worked with great people and ended up with an awesome car that Im absolutely in love with - and saved a ton of money as well. Couldnt be happier with my decision!!
What a terrible experience! They reminded me of all the negative stereotypes of car dealerships of (I thought) times past. The salesperson Chris was rude and condescending. We walked out and bought a car from Mount Kisco Honda within an hour. The contrast in how we were treated could not have been more stark.
If your goal is to buy a car they have some. If you expect anything more go elsewhere. Ive purchased approx 15 vehicles over the years. First time with this dealership. Once youve decided to but they are done with you. A couple days after purchasing the vehicle I recd and email thanking me for bringing it in for service. The next day I received an email saying the vehicle needed and oil change. I have received repeats of this same email several times. Not sure if they cant figure out email how can they be counted on to service the car? When my license plates arrived they sent an email and when I responded asking if the could put some screws with the plates since none were with the car the reply was See your sales person...or code for not my job or we arent customer service friendly or able to solve easy issues or get off my email or just get your plates and find your own screws.Update to this! I just recd a letter from Honda stating that the dealer is holding an event today and that they must my vehicle (which I just bought 2 weeks ago) so I can upgrade. The crazy part is that they are offering $2k less than I just paid 2 weeks ago. So lets see....sell for $2k less and buy another...?! Cant make this madness up.
Came here to lease a Honda and met with Alma and she was literally the best cars salesperson I’ve ever encountered. She got me the exact vehicle I wanted within 3 days of me going in, and even offered to return my lease for me when she saw I was in a time crunch. She made sure my car was set up and answered any questions/concerns very enthusiastically. I honestly couldn’t have been happier with her and my car. Really great experience!

I had the best experience at Brewster Honda. NO pressure, knowledgeable staff and an easy going atmosphere. Everyone was very helpful, especially my salesman Mike De Leon. He went over everything with me and got me a super price on my new 2015 CR-V. I didnt have to wait hours in the dealership like other dealerships I have experienced in the past. I already owned a Honda Civic and was perfectly happy to buy another one as my current 2008 Honda, with 150,000 miles on it, had served me well. However, I felt compelled to look around, just to satisfy my curiosity. When I went to Brewster Honda it was only to see what kind of a deal they would give me so I could compare it to other automakers that I was planning on looking at. I explained this to Will, the manager, and he gave me such an incredible price on a new Civic, and more than I expected for my trade-in, that I never looked elsewhere, I bought the car that very day. Honestly, he made it so that I could not walk away from what he offered.And, to make the experience even better, when I went to pick up my new car two days later, I had forgotten to bring the title for my trade-in. I couldnt believe my stupidity! But Mike Goldberg, the sales representative, made this a non-issue. We completed the sale, I drove home in my new car that night, and Mike followed me home and took the title from me so that I did not have to return to the dealer. What service!! Obviously, I love Hondas--my new Civic is even better than my old one!--but the service that I received at Brewster Honda was amazing! I have been telling everyone I know about the great deal and the awesome staff at your dealership. Thanks so much!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - STAY AWAY FOR LIFE! My family took me there to pick up his brand new car and we were treated so disrespectful by the manager. We left without signing the deal and he purchased the same car, same options from another dealer at lower price and lower financing rate. I was really surprise at the way the manager spoke, the tone of his voice and his body language. This dealer deserve 0 star rating. I recall many years ago, I took my dad there to dropped off his car for his scheduled service. For the entire day, no one bother to follow up with us until I call to check on the status in the afternoon. I was told his car will be ready by a certain time. We got there and realized no one has worked on the car. We just picked up the car and went to another repair shop. Obviously all these years, this readership has not improve. I will not advise anyone I know to this dealership after the verbal abuse I witnessed.
Great sales, finance, and service staff. Always willing to help in any way. Seamless new car purchase. Car was prepped and ready when I arrived. Paperwork was ready for signing. Salesman walked me through the features and helped set up blue tooth communication with my phone and all of the other great features. I purchased a 2013 Honda CR-V EX-L with some additional mods and everything was completed and ready. Beautiful car and great purchase experience. I recommend Brewster Honda to all who ask.
I am actually closer to other Honda dealerships, but I deliberately go the extra miles to Lia Honda in Brewster because it has always been an enjoyable experience and Barry Weiss is a pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable in all the Honda products, he makes it fun to buy or lease a car. He is able to gauge the clients level of expertise, and hell spend time to make sure the buyer / lessor understands the various terms of the purchase and the features of the new vehicle. You leave feeling that the car is the right fit for you. During my recent purchase, he took the time to go step me through my personalized settings worksheet. He also provided hands-on demos outside the dealership facility (nice and new) and he pointed me to a great video site which provides education on how to use all the features that the car offers. He was on time and ready for me. I was in and out before I knew it --- I was not rushed at all --- he spent the right amount of time with me and he constantly stressed that he is just a phone call or email away, in the event I had questions now or in the future. I have not had to contact him yet, he was that thorough.
Great working with Barry Weiss. No hassles. We had just left Danbury Honda after a lackluster interaction with a sales rep there and decided to go back to Lia Brewster where we bought out previous car. Easy. Used Costco pricing for a guaranteed low price and we started the paperwork that day. 2 days later we picked up our car with no fuss. I am a real PIA when it comes to car buying, but I would happily recommend Lia Brewster to anyone.

I was highly impressed with the layout of the new service facility and very happy for the people of Lia Honda for their success. The appearance and layout of the new building conveys a professional and efficient operation.One thing I love about the staff at Lia Honda of Brewster Service is that there is never a hidden agenda when it comes to discussing items that need servicing on the car. We went to Lia Honda in Brewster to look for a used car. We were greeted immediately by someone who brought us to Chris Larson. I usually dont enjoy the experience of dealing with a salesman but this was different. Chris listened to our needs and came up with a few cars that all met our criteria. He never gave us a hard sell or pressured us to make a decision. From start to finish he got us into a great Honda within a few hours. Ryan Anderson was the product specialist who got us a great rate with our loan. Both were very friendly. We will be looking for another car soon and we will definitely go back to Chris. So I visited this dealer on a whim after being disappointed at another dealership. Within minutes of walking in I was in a Pilot on a test drive with a beautiful sales lady Alma Paredes, who also help me with my insurance. Alma and the sales manager Will was very nice, honest and knowledge on their products and the price was reasonable.Loved the customer service, and even though I had to visit multiple times due to work time constraints I got my new car in no time. Once I made my preferences they got the car immediately & Im thrilled with my overall experience. Thank you for the awesome experience... Barry Weiss at Lia Honda Brewster made selecting and buying a car a very enjoyable experience. In a few hours he helped me select, finance, and drive out with the car I wanted. I never felt rushed or pressured and he took time to explain the car in great detail and he answered all of my questions. I would never buy a car without a recommendation from a friend so when Robert Schneider at Brewster Honda was recommeded as a salesman, I was eager to meet him. Along with his trusty salesman colleague, Jorge Taylor, I was easily placed in a new 2017 CR-V with a couple of newer amenities like heated seats and moon roof. At least something good came of the horrible accident! I was immediately given a price that beat all of the True Car prices I had received and was glad to make the trek up from Brooklyn once again. Jorge was a wonderful teacher of all the new computerized features and an overall nice guy. Hope I dont need these guys for another 10-15 years but I hope theyll still be there when I need them!
Purchased a 2019 Honda CR-V Touring model 2/28/19. This purchase at Lia Honda of Brewster was a much more agreeable new car buying experience that in the past. We did quiet a bit of price/availability/feature shopping on line beforehand and started the conversation with a particular vehicle/price in mind. Although our final price benefited slightly from using the USAA buying service (nearly identical to many other buying services such as Costco, etc), the main difference was in the professional handling and diligent followup by our Lia sales associate, George Taylor. We especially appreciated George Taylors listening skills, his ability to get answers to some of our hard questions and, what matters most, assuring consistent paperwork, pricing numbers to the end of the transaction.The vehicle was delivered immaculately prepared, all options ordered professionally installed and a full tank of gas.I would buy another new Honda from George Taylor and the Lia Honda organization when the time comes in a few years and wish George continuing success in pleasing new customers in the future.
I have been dealing with Lia Honda of Brewster for approximately ten years. They are a highly efficient dealership and extremely efficient. In my opinion, they have the best vehicles on the market. My Honda CRV is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I will continue to buy Honda vehicles as long as I am on this earth. In addition to their great vehicles, their Service Dept. is exceptional. They always take pride in their work. My thanks to Kira Bueti for taking care of my needs.
My purchases with Brewster Honda have been an absolute JOY! I purchased my 2008 Honda Accord EX-L from Luke in 2012 and he gave me the best deal and really fought to make sure I walked out with a smile. This month, I decided to purchase another vehicle and saw it was available at Brewster Honda. I called to find out Luke was promoted to a management position. However, through him I was able to meet another great guy by the name of Jon Saba who reminded me why I returned to purchase my next vehicle from Brewster Honda. Jon cooperated with my mother and I and gave me the BEST price on my vehicle. I picked my vehicle up this week and he made sure everything was in impeccable condition for me. Jon went as far as cutting my car mats and helping me install my babys car seat :-). Jon has a wonderful sense of humor and will go above and beyond to make his customer satisfied. I look forward to working with Brewster Honda in the future when I look for a new vehicle.P.S.Jon also made a great impression on my mother who is very hard to please, especially when it comes to car salesmen. I went for a problem of my car not starting whoever I got to help me tried to tell me to take my car back to where I got the battery without even looking at my car at all. They were not even a technician. Then she came out and said it’s NOT the battery. Well duh lady I told you that when I came in. Overpriced service!! From the quote I was given it was outrageous. The only reason why I’m giving 2 stars is because they didn’t charge me, but I didn’t have my car fixed, they only looked at it. I was very disappointed.
First of all ignore all of the fake five star reviews, you can identify them by how phony they sound. My experience at Brewster Honda was the absolute WORST car buying experience ever. Actually the worst experience Ive ever had for purchasing anything. Ive purchased new cars at 3 different local dealerships over the years with extremely pleasant experiences. My wife and I test drove one vehicle with Horace. After negotiating a deal and waiting for four hours we began signing papers for a NEW Honda. The sales manager walked over and said oh, by the way, there are a couple of scratches on the hood, probably from a cat. If you bring it back well buff them out. He was down right lying to me. A cat? Was I born yesterday? If they could have been buffed out they would have when they detailed it. Besides why should a customer have the clear coat removed from a NEW car in order to remove scratches? My wife and I went outside to look at the scratches. The car had scratches spread all over the entire hood and some on the roof. Deep scratches that were white on a black car. Along with other marks. My wife and I were so taken back that they would try to pawn off a damaged car as new and wait for us to be signing papers to try and pressure us too take it. We were beyond shocked, insulted and disappointed. I had to have them put my plates back onto my trade in and I had to call my insurance myself to put my insurance back on it and cancel the deal. We spent 4 hours there and Horace had the nerve to tell my wife that it wasted his time as well! I still have yet to receive my $500 deposit back after a week. I left a message and no one called me back about it. I had to file a complaint with my credit card company. If you want to avoid some shady people and a possible nightmare experience avoid at all costs.
My experience with Lia Honda was outstanding. The staff was professional and courteous but most of all, the were friendly and welcoming despite the fact that their entire showroom and main property is under renovation and must work out of a temporary location across the street.Salesman, Dan Salamone, got us the best price in the area, had just what we were looking for and made our new car ready with no heavy handed sales push.I recommend Lia Honda and am looking forward to working with them again.Tim HughesBrewster NY
Recently leased a CRV at Lia Honda Brewster thru the Costco buying program and the whole process was excellent. Mike Deleon was our salesperson and was absolutely awesome. This is now the 2nd Honda I have leased thru Mike and I have absolutely no complaints. There were no surprises anywhere during the process. Mike located the model we wanted and it was delivered the next day. A fair price was given for our trade in without us having to negotiate. I highly recommend Mike for anybody looking to buy or lease a Honda.
I purchased a new 2013 Accord LX a few weeks ago from Brewster Honda and had a great experience. My salesman Jon was very helpful and did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable. He was very knowledgeable and even helped me connect my phone to the car and put on my license plates. I shopped around and Brewster gave me the best deal. I would recommend Brewster Honda for anyone looking for a new car!
AMAZING SERVICE.After a traumatic accident, I went to Lia Honda to purchase (well, lease) a new vehicle. The sales associate that helped me, Barry Weiss, was incredible! I know close to zero about cars, but he was able to break everything down in an easy-to-digest way, and streamlined the whole process (much needed after dealing with the ins and out of accident-related nonsense).I honestly couldnt have asked for a better experience.Oh! And they have a super fancy show room now! Very impressive.A+ all-around.
This was a very pleasant visit to Brewster Honda. What happened with my car was scary and Kira Bueti was very helpful explaining what they would do to find the problem and fix it. She was very efficient and knowledgeable. She put me at ease. The car was fixed the next day and I am happy to have it back.
I have leased with Brewster Honda 4 times over the last 13 years and everytime I feel I get the best service and best deal. Rose Romeo has worked with me from the very beginning and she just helped my son into his first car. She and Rocco clearly explained each step of the lease process and the financing end, and theres no question, after searching other dealerships, that Brewster had the best deal and Rose always makes me feel she has my best interests covered and knows all the cars well and shes really nice too.
Multiple promises not kept. Came in for oil change and inspection and was backed into a corner and spent over $800. Received 3 separate emails to speak of experience and I never once received a phone call back. Seems as though they only care about the good reviews and not disappointed customers.No worries, lots of dealers equal driving distance.
Kira Bueti was very professional and caring when I brought my Honda FIT in because of a tire issue. Because of her concern I took her advice and had them check the cause of my tire issue. It was a wise decision as I had picked up a nail and was driving upstate NY, They were able to fix it while I waited and I was soon on my way....not having to worry about my tire!!

Ive bought maybe 15 cars in my life and Ive got to say that my experience with Brewster Honda was a pleasant surprise. No pressure from Will, my sales guy, and no hassles at all. Ive had some difficulties with the blue tooth—all my own fault—and the service guys were extremely accommodating in showing me how to work it, without having an appointment or having to wait for an hour or more until they got to it. Thanks for making the whole process easy!
We are extremely happy with our lease and with the service we received at Brewster Honda. Were particularly please with Patrick, who was courteous, patient and pleasant throughout the whole process. When you deal with Patrick you cant help but feeling you are dealing with someone honest and trustworthy, I would recommend him with no hesitation. Nice job!
Sales Dept:I went here ready to buy a company car. We had very simple needs: we knew the make, model, color, financing requirements, and were flexible with price. The sales staff could not have been worse. Overall, it just felt like they couldnt give us the time of day, like they were just antsy to get to the next customer, when all along we were 100% ready to buy a car immediately.Our salesperson was Jon Saba and his manager was David. We dealt mostly with Jon, who proved himself to be repeatedly unprofessional (answering his phone, What do you want?) and unpredictable (we would make appointments, only to be told in transit that he wasnt ready or we needed to bring something/someone that he previously had told us we would not need). David was no better, and treated us rudely when we escalated our problems with Jon.We have since went to another Honda dealership in the area to make our purchase and have had nothing but a great experience (Ill be sure to review them when our purchase is complete). Instead of 3 weeks of BS at Brewster, our purchase is scheduled to take about 4 business days.Service Dept:I had one prior interaction with them with my personal car. Many Hondas in 2016 had a recall on the airbag, but there were not enough parts to go around so Honda offered rentals until they could fix the problem. I called Brewster Honda to inquire, and they said the parts would be ready in two weeks, so I should just wait. When I called in two weeks, they said the parts would be ready in two weeks, so I should just wait.Smelling bovine excrement, I called Danbury Honda, which happily lent me a car for four months while waiting for the parts to come in to fix my airbag.All I can surmise is that Brewster Hondas service department is a gang of scallywags.
I got a good deal through Costco and John Babu was a nice person to work with but on the afternoon of 03/25, when I went to pick a new Honda Odyssey, I found it was dirty from outside. So I asked for a cleanup / external wash or at least a coupon so that I could get it washed later. I was told that it was washed once a week ago -- money had been spent -- so no more wash. I was supposed to pick the Van a week ago but could not go on that day and instead went on 03/25. My kids were excited about the new Odyssey and I demanded for the car to be cleaned. So John brought his boss who introduced himself as the Sales General Manager. This gentleman was very very rude. His words Your car has been washed once and we are not going to clean this again. Either you drive it home...or here is the paper of your car your are trading in ...means you take the dirty car or get lost. It was so rude -- I immediately decided I was not doing business here. If the Sales Manager is so rude when the Dealership is trying to sell me the car....what kind of after sales service one can expect there. I had never seen this man before ....but his rude behaviour and attitude lost this dealership business with me. My friends planning to get a new car will know this incidence and people reading this review will also now know what kind of service/ attitude to expect at Brewster Honda. People Beware !!!!!

I had heard great things about Brewster Honda and my experience there was no different. The Service Manager, Rick, introduced me to Doug Walsh who was very helpful throughout the whole process. I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted and he was very patient with me (and my 11-year old daughter who was with me the whole time!). He set me up with a Certified Pre-owned Honda Pilot and spent over an hour showing me all the details of the car. I recently had the GREAT pleasure of visiting the beautifully appointed Lia Honda dealership in Brewster, NY.The showroom is open and spacious with a whole lot of glass- a most modern design and yet ALL within were most accommodating and friendly.I was there to look at a (slightly) used car and it proved to be as advertised- IMMACULATE!I was introduced to a wonderfully warm and knowledgeable (a PERFECT 10 to be sure!) salesman by the name of Steve Geraci; we were fast friends.He graciously took me on the journey of investigating the car- from answering my seemingly endless questions to being by my side in a test drive.(As you will learn yourself- the cars of today are just bit different from a few years ago and was grateful he went along for the ride as co-pilot!)Further along in the art of this deal his associate Bryan (equally well informed) stopped by to supplement Steves efforts with the finer points of additional elective option packages. I purchased a used vehicle from Lia Honda Brewster and going in, I knew the price of that vehicle and what I wanted for my trade-in. The Sales Representative, Barry, was very professional and courteous. There was never any pressure to buy, although I knew I wanted the vehicle but I didnt say this going in, and our conversation was like two old friends just talking. When it came time to make the sale, Barry was never pushy and inquired about my interest in the car as opposed to trying to persuade me to purchase it.Next, everyones favorite part, was the trade-in price for my vehicle. I already had a figure in my head based on Edmunds and KBB estimated values. Despite my apprehension that I was going to get a lower offer, they offered almost exactly the estimated value. And yes, I would have walked away if it was too low.Next came finalizing the sale. This is another area where buyers are always pressured to purchase extended warranties and other special coverages. For the first time ever, that isnt what happened. The representative wasnt making any attempts to force these coverages but instead went over them and simply asked if I was interested. When I said no, there was no judgement, but simply an Ok and Thank you and we talked for a little bit longer (not about purchasing anything).Overall, I highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I understand we all have different experiences so I can only speak on mine. I am definitely pleased with the vehicle I purchased and I am pleased with my experience. Barry and the other members of the team are professional and made me feel welcome, as opposed to rushed and pressured. If it comes time to purchase another vehicle, I wont hesitate to go back.

I was considering purchasing the new 2016 H RV. He introduced me to Jon Saba in the Sales dept. He was accommodating and knowledgeable. He took his time and was patient in answering all my questions. He was a gem. I purchased my H RV this week. As a long time customer, I was given the VIP treatment. I highly recommend their Sales and Service dept. I leased a new Civic Touring. Ms. Kathleen Colletti guided me through the leasing procedures and tutored me on all the fascinating new features. The finance manager, Robert,recommended the Honda Centennial plan which extends the factory warranty through the life of the lease. The experience at Brewster was pleasant and rewarding. Ray Paine and his Service Staff are outstanding. I ran into a problem with my car at 3:00 PM,I got to Brewster Honda at 4:15PM, and by 6:00PM my car was fixed and I was on my way. The entire Service Staff is very courteous, professional, and personable. The car was fixed to perfection. Kudos to the Brewster Honda Staff!!

I first called to schedule an appointment to have the car looked at and was assisted by Josephine and Phil who listened to my questions and understood my concerns. The day of the appointment I was met by William Desanctis who immediately made me feel comfortable about the work being done--he called me after the car was looked at and inspected by the mechanic and reported to me that the work we originally discussed was not necessary but there was a different problem that needed to be addressed. He helped me truly solve the problem and I appreciate his honesty. Thanks William, the car runs great!

My experience at Brewster Honda was fabulous. This is my 2nd time going to Brewster Honda for a new car and never seems to amaze me how comfortable they make you feel and how professional they are. They make the signing process a breeze. Toni helped me make my decision on which model to pick, which was very helpful because I didnt know if I wanted to upgrade. I dealt with Michael Lleshaj and he had all answers to my questions and had everything ready when I picked up my new car. I travel from Queens and would never go to another Honda location.
Well the new 2016 Civics arrived and are impressive. I wanted to trade my 2012 civic before too many miles would decrease its value. I went back to Brewster Honda. I was met by Misael Deleon. A devoted sales person that made the experience perfect. We walked the entire inventory, test drove a nice car, and went home that evening with my new car. Again, Misael Deleon was a superb sales person and made this happen.
After getting our 2009 Accord back from getting a new car battery I found the battery connections loose and not properly cleaned and the catch for the hood hold up bar broken . I asked for a new catch to be mailed to us and finally after talking to the General Manager I will receive the new part in a day or so. As of right now we will no longer deal with Lia Honda.What a long 3 weeks.

Shopping for a car can be a difficult process, and many bumps can occur along the way. I am pleased to say that Brewster Honda, salesman Jon and manager Norman in particular, were absolutely fantastic. My wife and I felt that we were treated with kindness and respect during the entire process, and left with our purchas feeling that we had a fair deal made on all ends, including a trade in of my previous Honda. I would recommend this dealer and these two individuals to anyone looking for a new or used car.
I somehow broke an axle on my 2009 Fit (200,000+ mi) and had to be towed in. They fixed the car the next day. I had asked if i should get the other replaced, as in my past experiences, Honda had weak CV joints and if one went, the other was sure to follow shortly. They suggested i did not need one (to the tune of an extra $900) so if they were turning down work i had to believe them. So far they were correct. However, and heres where they got banged some stars, i had picked up on a friday evening and had a long drive ahead of me (5 hours). I didnt check the radio right away, and they had disabled it. The whole trip w/out a radio was not so fun. They didnt answer any of my emails. When i got back i just showed up, and the current service rep fixed it cheerfully. Took him like 2 mins. Too bad it wasnt done correctly the first time. Also thought it was a bit expensive.EDIT: Sure enough, the other axle broke six months later in an extremely inconvenient place. I was stupid in not insisting Lia replace both at the same time as my second rental car cost more than another dealer charged to fix the axle. I had to drop a star for bad advice. And the second dealer was cheaper and more helpful.
I purchased my second Accord from Brewster Honda this past week. My salesman Dan Salamone, was great! He was patient, knowledgeable and low key. However one major negative is the sales area, theyre working out of a trailer, no showroom or delivery area. It was single digits and high winds on the day of delivery. No place to look the car over and understand the features. If you are looking for a Honda ask for Dan and go on a nice day!

My experience of buying a car was very pleasant through Lia Honda of Brewster. Patrick McGrath was my sales rep and he did a stellar job right from the get go. I suggest everyone to go meet him as soon as you enter the place. He is very friendly, polite and very very patient with all the questions. He is not looking to make a few bucks here and there and get you out of the door, like many other car salesman I have seen in my life!I was very delighted to having interacted with him and decided to spend my $$ with this dealership solely based on his behavior.As for the dealership - their finance dept needs to keep pace with the market and offer better rates to get business. They forget the wonderful world of the internet and that people have endless opportunities to find financing if they choose to! The General Manager David is and always will be a pleasure to deal with. He is courteous and respectful and understands the customer needs. Between David (GM) and Patrick Mcgrath (Sales) - I think this dealership has everything going for its success.
I brought my dealer maintained CRV here for a routine NYS safety inspection . After a while the service advisor came to me and told me that my vehicle had A lot going on and proceeded to give me an estimate of around 4 Thousand dollars to make safe again. The one item that raised the red flag for me was the unsafe cracked serpentine belt . I called my service advisor at the dealer that I have it maintained at and he told me the belt was replaced 500 miles ago when the alternator/tensioner/belt was replaced . I brought my car back to my dealer and yes 1 sway bar link was broken NOT all 4 as I was advised Repaired for 150$ not the 800$ I was quoted at this dealer . They try to take advantage of the elderly and infirm STAY AWAY
From the moment I walked into Lia Honda and was greeted by the receptionist to meeting Lidian Nikolla, my sales rep., I was treated with the highest regard of importance. I was actually torn between leasing another car and purchasing a new car. Lidian walked me through my options and listened intently to my concerns and identified with indecisiveness. My decision to purchase a new lease was the right choice for me. Lidian took care of everything and within hours I was driving home a new car. Thanks again for a seemless, no stress and fun day. We just leased another Honda Pilot (our 2nd) last week. Brewster Honda does all they possibly can to accommodate the needs of their buyers. Our salesman, Mike Devine, was fabulous. My husband corresponded with him over a few weeks and Mike kept my husband, Chris, up to date on the best deals and pricing for our needs-- he didnt have to do that. During the sale, Mike returned all phone calls, processed our paper work quickly, and even offered to stay late so I could pick up the car after work. These are examples of how much Brewster Honda cares about having satisfied customers. I will definitely return for future purchases. Strong customer service is a lacking quality these days, but its in abundance at Brewster Honda.
Great service until it got to the finance manager. First he kept us waiting for five hours (yes you read that right. Five hours!!). Then he tried to get us in a high interest rate, mean while i was already quoted for way lower at another bank. We left mad, and then the dealer ship sold the car we had a deposit on. I will never recommend anyone here.
By fare the WORST dealership I have ever dealt with! I have purchased/ leased 6 cars in the past 10 years Customer service is sub par, recpectionist is a total B****, Robert in finance is a total crook! Used this dealer to lease, but then once the lease was over, I decided to buy it out. The deal they got me was terrible, 75 month financing for a 3 year old car who recommends that! Additionally, I was sold a warranty which I really didnt want, but went to sign the paper work and was forced into the warranty as the bank had already financed it. The lease acquisition manager at the time, Laura, a total space cadet! She didnt show up on the day of the buy out and all the paper work (title, registration, etc.) was completely wrong, name, address, all wrong. Worst, Worst, Worst! Get you Honda elsewhere!

Long time Honda owner. These guys see a lot of customers so they dont really care when it comes to losing your business. This is not a place where youll get good deals, and the sales people will make it seem like its impossible to get what you want/that you wont get what youre looking for anywhere. Went here and was basically told to kick rocks when it came to making a deal on a new car...so I went to Danbury Honda where they actually worked with me to make a good deal. I like staying local when it comes to spending my money, but seriously, after how I was treated/what I was told here, Ill never come back.
I diligently searched the internet for vehicles for a few weeks because I was undecided between manufacturers. I was also undecided whether or not to buy used or lease new, trying to keep my payments reasonable. I ultimately decided on a used, low mileage, Honda Pilot because I felt I was able to get the most for my dollar and Hondas reliability is second to none. I was willing to drive within a two hundred mile radius to get the best deal possible. The biggest complication was my intention of trading-in my Subaru Forester at the same time. I knew that I would be unable to get an answer of trade value over the phone and the deal would hinge upon getting fair market value for my car. Obviously this was a somewhat risky proposition but I was willing to walk away if need be and go home empty handed. Brewster Honda made everything work with ease. They had the best vehicle pricing, a courteous staff, and gave great value for my trade. Rose, who I dealt with over the phone, answered all my questions concerning the internet photos. Steve in sales made things very easy with the whole transaction and also was great with my two boys. Not easy because they are four and eight and had to be with us because of the distance we traveled to make the deal. The vehicle was represented well in the internet photos and add. And Luke in finance was able to get us the best terms possible with our mediocre credit rating. He as well was great with the boys. I didnt need to haggle at all because I was well aware that the deal they were offering was more than competitive and honest. The vehicle I purchased was three years old and had 30,000 miles. They put new tires on, front and rear brakes (rotors and pads), a new battery, all new filters, and serviced all the proper fluids. I certainly have nothing to worry about for quite some time. I very much appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail. The vehicle was immaculate when I received it as well. I highly recommend Brewster Honda to anyone looking for a vehicle. As an ancillary note, I worked in auto repair for nearly twenty years in a family owned business. I know what some dealers are capable of and have seen every shady move possible. Dont go here. I was told I could only have my trade in evaluated between 9-5 on a weekday and had to fight for a Saturday. I walked in with pricing from the Costco Auto Buying program and they tried to not honor it. I had to fight for the price I had already received by email. They also sold the car I had a deposit on. The person my boyfriend spoke to on the phone was also very rude. If I could give 0 stars I would.
After having a car accident and incurring a total loss, we were scrambling to figure out how we were going to get a great car at a decent price within the few days we had to get it done. Our salesman Jorge was extremely understanding to our situation and made this process as easy, stressless and fun as possible. Ryan in the financial dept. also worked with us in a hurry to get us a loan we could afford that wouldnt leave us paying interest for the rest of our lives. The entire experience was amazing, and we plan on staying with Brewster Honda for as long as we are driving. I recently requested a quote for a Honda Pilot through Costco car service and TrueCar. The Costco system pointed me to Brewster Honda and another dealership. I got calls from both dealerships. The Brewster Honda gave me very good price and the other dealer gave the price much higher than the one offered by Brewster Honda. I asked the other dealer whether they can match the price. They told me that they have enough buyers and do not want to lower the price.I had a drive test in Brewster Honda and had pretty good experience to deal with the two ladies in the dealership. In the end, I purchased the car from them. If you want to buy a Honda, do not forget to talk to them before you decide to buy.If you have an old car to trade in, it is not a good place. I wanted to trade my old car in and KBB trade-in price is around $1700 to $2000. They only want to give me $300 for trade-in. In the end, I put my car in Craiglist and I sold the car for $2200!
Called and made an appointment to come test drive a specific car I had my eye on. 2 days later I drive there (I live 45 minutes away) and get told by the salesman the car had already been sold (they never contacted me to let me know but I guess I should have called before I drove over there...live and learn). He showed me one for the same price but with almost 8,000 extra miles on it and I took it for a test drive. Salesman Chris was very nice and professional and did apologize for them not letting me know the car I wanted had sold. They wouldnt negotiate price for the more used car so I walked and got a more competitive deal elsewhere. He was very nice about it though, and didnt try to hold me up when I left...I assume hell sell the car this week anyways.Nice, clean place with professional staff but definitely comes with the sales tactics you would expect from a dealership. Not sure if they dropped the ball not calling me to tell me the car I wanted sold, or they just do that to get people in the lobby.
I have leased 5 hondas and this most recent transaction was one of the best. Blake was personable, straight forward, helpful, and listened to my wants and needs. The transition from lease to lease was timely and smooth, and he kept in communication with me to update me on the status of the process. One of the easiest experiences I have had.

Brewster Honda is absolutely the best Honda Dealership in the New York Metro Area. The Sales Department consistently treat their costumers with respect and offer the lowest possible prices for each Honda model. Personally, I have purchased 10 vehicles there in the past decade and each purchase was handled with professionalism and respect. If you go there, ask for Ardit Shabi or Will Darnell. I assure you that they will get you the best price and give you the most for your trade-in. Nobody Beats Brewster Honda in getting the lowest price and service.

Received a letter from this dealership in the mail offering $6,600 for my car. I called ahead THREE TIMES to make sure they would honor the offer. I took off work for a day and traveled over a hour to the dealership and when I got in the door they said they would only give me $1,100 total for my car. Wasted a day of my time and money between taking off work and gas. My family and I will not be buying or servicing our cars here any more.
We had the pleasure of dealing with the Staff From Brewster Honda for the third time. In this case we turned in a leased Pilot and leased a 2016 CRV along with buying a 2013 Civic. Thru the years, I dreaded The idea of having to buy/lease a car. so, in this case two cars.... whew could have put me off the deep end. However, as I stated above, John Babu our salesman and Will Darnell the sales Manager worked with us to make the experience good. We felt that the pricing was fair and Will addressed a couple of our concerns which made the whole deal happen. We Strongly recommend Leasing/Purchasing a vehicle From Lia Brewster Honda. I purchased my vehicle though Brewster Honda, and the sale was full of flaws.... I had nothing but issues with the salesman, since purchasing the vehicle i decided to have the pilot serviced though them. So last week i brought the car in for an oil change no issues... then Monday the check engine light came on, i brought the car back in and they said there was an update the needed to be done and charged me to diagnose the issue... Seriously???? You charge me to updated the computer cause you didnt get it right the first time. Unreal!! I will not bring my vehicle back.
My time at brewster was amazing. They gave me the best price and tons of options. Jon Saba and luke did a wonderful job in providing me with information in regards to my new 2013 Honda civic ex-l. I am in love with this car and wouldnt of have received the information that I got any where else. Brewster Honda is the number 1 Honda dealership in my eyes and they get a 5 star rating. First visit, test drive, arduous price negotiation, drove a car off the lot the same day. How often does that happen? Never even got a thank you from management. When I asked them why I didnt get so much as a stop by, their reply are you chastising me? They could care less about their clients, return buyers or referrals . When my 2nd car is off lease in 30 days, I wont be returning. I can get their deal anyplace.

We have wanted a hybrid for years. My husband did the research and decided on the Honda Accord Hybrid. We went to one Honda dealership in our area, and had a very negative experience with a salesman who had no interest whatsoever in selling a hybrid. We then went to the slightly more distant Brewster Honda after seeing online that they had many hybrids available. Our salesman was Horace Earle and he was very knowledgeable about the Accord hybrid. Horace answered all of our questions and made us what we thought was a very reasonable deal regarding price. Its still very early in the owning experience, but we are very happy that we bought a hybrid made by Honda.
I purchased my new Honda recently and I love it. Ashara was my sales lady and she is absolutely knowledgeable and awesome to work with. She listened to our needs and understood what we wanted. I would recommend that when you visit Brewster Honda, ask for Ashara....she really knows how to get the job done! We are so happy right now......
I had a HORRIBLE experience at my last service appointment. The communication was terrible, no one could communicate what was going on with my car. I was told I would be there for an hour service, and two hours later I am running around the waiting area trying to find ANYONE to speak with regarding my vehicle. I find out the service will take at least another hour and my car is up in the air with the wheel off and someone working on the axel. I was late to work and all my things were in the car so they had to lower it and get my into a loaner. So stressful. Then when I called the following day to seeing if the car was done, no one could find my paper work because my service file had been closed. When I finally spoke with a manager, he spouted excuses based on layoffs and the move from the old facility to the new one. I can understand these issues, but it still doesnt make up for the utter lack of communication. I was not offered a car wash, a free oil change, or even an apology for my trouble! I will not be returning, and I think Honda has lost a loyal customer since 2000 since I cant seem to find a decent service center in Fairfield County.
Chris Larson, Barry Weiss and Ryan, the finance guy, were all very knowledgeable, helpful and willing to work with us in a friendly and reasonable manner. They werent pushy and did their best to make sure all our needs were met within our budget. Even though I had to travel almost an hour to get there, it was well worth the trip :-)
Sales staff (Mike)was very helpful and the coffee was great!! The car I wanted was used, obviously by a family. I asked for it to be cleaned (I assumed shampooed) and vacuumed.It was a decent price - fair. I bought the car.Then I went to the business office. I was strongly encouraged to use their loans, not the one from my bank as the rates were slightly lower. My bank is a Credit Union and very stable. I wanted to stay with my bank. A No, thank you was not enough. The pitch for their banks was pretty strong.Then came the pitch for the $1875 warranty which I did not want either. When I say no I mean it and I was frustrated with feeling pushed into spending more money. I buy a Honda for one reason - it is reliable. If I have to spend an extra $1875 to be assured of this cars reliability then something has gone wrong with how they are now making their cars. I drove my 2001 Odyssey for 200,000 mi. with no problems. I want the same experience.Then I went to pick up the car. Still stained , dirty and with candy wrappers. Mike apologized profusely and took the car back to be cleaned. Well when I got home, we STILL found candy wrappers, garbage AND chewed gum stuck to the side of the car door. There is no way that this car was ever shampooed before I got it.Then we drove away with less than half a tank of gas in the car. After spending over $20,000 at this dealership, a full tank of gas would have been nice.These are the little things that make me wonder if I took my car back there for servicing if this dealership is paying attention to the inside of my car the same way they paid attention to the details of my sale and my desires as a customer.I will go back to Moorehead in Newburgh or Friendly in Poughkeepsis. They have always been fabulous.
I had a very good experience working with Kathy. I had been looking for 3 months when I saw a 2009 Honda CR-V advertised at Brewster Honda. I called to ask a few questions and Kathy helped to answer or get the answers for me. I went up from NYC on Sat. and drove it home that day. They took care of all the paper work. I came into Brewster Honda because it was time to upgrade my fred flinstone klunker of a car to something more respectable.My mom had recently upgraded her Honda and she recommended I go see the same person she dealt with. Working with Ashara Perkins was such a delight. I think I held off so long in buying a car because I truly dread the whole car buying process. The experience I had with Ashara was so pleasant. She was very attentive to my needs, very knowledgeable and helpful without being too aggressive (as we all know some sales people can be). I genuinely felt she cared that I walked away happy and totally satisfied, not at all like she was out to get a quick sale. I purchased my 2015 CRV-L from Brewster Honda and the experience was wonderful. Servicing my car here has become a NIGHTMARE.I had been experiencing vibrations within the seat of the vehicle and brought it back to be checked. It took two or three times before one of the counter people said hey I think I just saw an alert notice on this issue forthis car. He hunted for it and found it. Seems like it was a known problem to Honda of America and the repair was to replace motor mounts. This was done to my car and less than 24 hours after picking up my car I brought it back as I could hear this strange noise eminating from the car. It sounded, to me an untrained car professional, like something was loose and rumbling. The service tech validated the noise and said bring it in Monday as they were closing at that point.I did as directed and the car has been back 4 times and I am being told by Honda of America that the vehicle is safe and the noise I hear is standard exhaust noise. Funny it was not there prior to this repair.The service manager Ray on a past visit for this issue had the nerve to ask if I knew how a CRV engine performed and sounded and if I ever drove an SUV. Insulting at best as I had the car approximately 10 months prior to this issue.Today Dave the general manager basically blew me off as well telling me take my car and if the noise persist he will have another Brewster tech look at it. Guess what I started my car the noise is still there.Never service your car at Brewster Honda. If you by a car there NEVER buy the service packages or like me you will spend good money, tie yourself into having to service your car here and get AWFUL servicing and even more you will get an unprofessional, non customer oriented and condescending service manager in Ray at Brewster.Unfortunately the sales department sets the bar too high in customer satisfaction for service to even compare!

Overcharged for tire rotation and an oil change. $200+.Bought my car there too and the tires didnt make it a year. I drove off the lot and the tire sensor goes. I was told the car had brand new tires as well.Totally untrustworthy and would not recommend. Go to Danbury if you want to go to a Honda dealer.
I love this place. The service staff is friendly and knowlegeable. My favorite is Bill Desanctis. Hes friendly, honest and helpful.This is a great dealer. They gave me a good price when I bought my car in 2011 and I take it there for all my service.I previously had a VW Beetle and my experience with the un-named dealer was quite the opposite.My car uses an unusual oil weight, so I bring it to them because when I took it to my local garage,he charged me for the more expensive oil and I got 10W40 which made my gas mileage plummet.Now I only bring it to Brewster Honda and they are very honest and fair.
My experience with Brewster Honda was nothing less than amazing after dealing with Rose. She listened to what we wanted and what we could afford she was not pushy at all and we enjoyed getting to know her. She took care of us like we where family. We just cant say enough about her! Also Gloria is amazing as well. She made the financial part a breeze and really helped us out! Honestly it is because of Rose and Gloria that we purchased our 2014 CRV. The Brewster Honda Service Department is great. Always welcoming and willing to listen to any concerns or questions I may have. My favorite person at the service desk is William Desanctis (Bill). I visited Brewster Honda on Thursday, June 4 after receiving a letter that I could return my present leased car early (due in September). I had no idea that I would be getting a new 2015 leased car that very day (in a matter of a few hours!!!) Ardit Shabi was the sales representative who waited on me. I cant say enough about what a wonderful experience I had with Ardit. He was so personable and helpful, explaining everything to me and answering every question thoroughly. You should consider yourself very fortunate to have such a wonderful salesman representing Brewster Honda Sales. Ardit is definitely an asset to your organization, and you should be proud to have him working for you.
The dealership tried to rush our deal through. Representative falsely advertised a bumper to bumper warranty.Manager claimed there was a delivery fee, but since we were there through Costco, the preset price already included it and insisted that he was right until we pushed back and he contacted someone.
Leased a 2015 Honda CRV. Transaction went nicely. Sales rep Ashara Perkins was wonderful. The finance manager Charles Schroder was also very courteous and straight forward. Felt no pressure during the entire leasing process. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.
I made an appointment at Lia for an airbag recall Aug 28th. They said repair should take 45 mins. Their first availability was 9/5. Having been left hanging at other repair locations that way under-projected repair times, I concluded to not wait, and asked for a loaner. New date given with loaner availability was 9/12.Arrived on schedule to drop off car and was told there were no loaners available. Excuse provided was: reservation was made by receptionist. Really? Rogue receptionist making unauthorized loaner reservations, without accountability ? Will not bring car here for service. Will try to find a more honorable service department somewhere else.
The car drives ok; it is not nearly as smooth as my 2013 Civic coupe, the seats are harder, and I am disappointed it does not have a CD player. The sound quality from MP3 files, a smartphone, or Bluetooth is just not there like on a CD, and if you do long-distance driving and like to listen to music or audiobooks youll have to get some type of cable to hook up a CD player. Also, the quality of the speaker system is not even close to the superior one in my 2013 Civic--probably because without CDs one doesnt need good speakers.There also is no aux input. Do they think everyone has an iPhone? I was told I could plug in a flash drive loaded with songs.....which knowing me would soon get lost under the seat so no thank you, at least for me......and again so much sound quality and clarity is lost on those thumb drives.The car is very nice and overall I like it.From when I walked in the door to when I drove off in my new car was about 5 hours (1 hour was waiting on my insurance company). The staff were patient and nice, and made a long wait bearable. I got a fair deal. I would definitely recommend this dealer (I have used them since 1998), just dont get this Civic unless you dont need a CD player, and/or an aux port is of no consequence to you.I am rating 4 stars. Three for the car (comparing it to the 2013 coupe), 5 for the dealer.
Nice No obligations and No pressure kind of atmosphere at the service department. The service staff took time to explain me all the issues and helped me take the right decision instead of just asking to shell out more money for unnecessary spares or service.They offer better pricing than Danbury Honda.
I bought Honda CRV 2015 on June 30th 2015. I would like to say that I am very satisfied with the service. I would like to recognize our salesman Ardit Shabi for his excellent service and professionalism he handled our needs. He explained in detail all the car features and was very patient with the negotiation process. It made a big difference for us to acquire this vehicle.
Had a wonderful experience with the Service Department and in particular Dan. He was incredibly helpful, got me right in, calmed my concerns and was communicative every step of the way. It is so wonderful to have someone who actually cares about you and your vehicle. I HIGHLY recommend Dan and the service department.
This is one of the worst dealerships I have ever dealt with! Apparently the only way to get a quote on a lease price for a car is to have to physically sit at the dealership! I have never heard of a more pressured and ridiculous way to do business. Personally I will never consider doing business with them-never.
Took my car to the service department for a fluke thing that happened to my car. Was told Id wait an hour and then get an uodate. Before the hour was up I was told I could get a loner car because they wanted to look at the codes my car was giving out. I really appreciated their ability to judge what they needed to do. I was able to get out fairly quickly and get on with my day and know my car was getting looked at fully. Thank you.
Went in for a repair on my LED lights and was given the run around to check in my vehicle. Then I was told that I had to find out on my own from the dealer where I purchased my Honda from, what kind of Honda warranty I had in order to fix my LED light. Arent they suppose to inquire about that for me? SEEMS LIKE THEY DIDNT CARE BECAUSE MY CAR INITILALLY WASNT PURCHASED FROM THEM! I only gave it 1 star because the young lady noticed that I was getting the run around and helped me when I alerted her of the additude that I was introduced with!
I can say out of all my new car buying experiences, this was by far the easiest, most pleasant experience.My sales consultant LJ Lombardo ,was patient, curtious, and helpful every step of the way. Answered any and all questions quickly and if he wasnt 100% sure he consulted Some one else who was,, Namely,Robert Schneider, who also gave me a nice buying experience. They both made them selves available at any time that was Convenient to ME.I didnt not feel pressured in any way,( I have walked out of dealerships because of that. )Thank you Lewis(AJ) Lombardo and Robert Schneider for a great car buying experience!!!!
Salesperson good, but not the finance guy.We bought a new accord from them a few years ago. Anthony was our salesperson. Communication by email was very efficient and what was promised by email remained true when we met in person. We trusted our salesman and the whole process was very efficient and enjoyable. HOWEVER, we did NOT trust the person who was tried to sell us the financing deals (we got much better rates at our own bank), security alarm, or extended warranty. And we were right not to. He tried to sell us an extended warranty that was twice the price that we could find from another honda dealer. If you want an extended warranty, turn to bernardi honda. They are in Mass. but doesnt matter. You can still order your warranty online with them.
Daniel Salamone was the sales rep that helped me. He asked what my price range was and worked with it. I got a deal of a lifetime and being that this was my first time ever buying a car from a dealership Im beyond please with this experience and will forever continue to buy cars from here and recommend my friends and family
The sales person told me about how important writing reviews for them is... check other sites most are rated at 2.5 stars or less.After being called suborn by the used sales manager (norm) I almost walked out but the price the the car I purchased kept me there. I later found they lied about everything on the Certified Pre Owned report the car was left with open recalls, I was charged $25 for a free tank of gas My credit card was later charged by them for over $300 for no reason, the car was not cleaned (including a broken umbrella left in the trunk) and there were no floor mats in the car... Most importantly the air filter, break fluid, and steering fluid were not changed costing me $400If it was just an open recall, $25 gas fee along with being uncleaned I would have though the car was worth the money but with everything added in it cost me just as much in the end as it would have to shop at a reputable dealer. Thankfully my awesome credit card company cleared there fraudulent charges.***Check other rating sites you will see brewster workers obviously write there own reviews on here more accurate sites have them rated at 2.5 stars at best***
I had an appointment for an oil change today. I left without my oil change to say the least. The staff is not courteous or friendly, it was my first time thought I would feel as welcome as I do at friendly Honda in poughkeepsie but I felt quite the opposite. No one acknowledged my presence and when they did I was met with poor attitude in return. If I say Im here for an appointment for an oil change, dont respond with yea well everyone has an appointment and shrug your shoulders at me. If youre busy just tell me youll be with me as soon as possible. I will never EVER go back. #fastlaneoilchange
Fourth time Ive put this review up: 26k car, on the lot for 3 years. They wanted a payout of $72K and offered simonization for another 3k. Had to fight to get a $500 deposit back. Never again. And every little pat on their little owners little head gets a major THANKS! For anything negative? Crickets. Cant believe this place is still operating. Oh, t hey are operating. Cant believe they are still in business. If they take it down again Ill put it up again. Look at the likes. 10. Hey there little owner, how about owning up? How about addressing complaints instead of bending over when people osculate your gluteaus maximua? How about that?
Excellent service, what a fantastic New facility. So much thought has gone in to the process of making the the waiting experience is a pleasant and productive one. The car service was speedy and, although it is a bit expensive I know Im getting the best trained people working on my car.
Very pleasant experience due to the assistance and price quote I received over the phone before I even visited them from Rose Romeo.I was then assigned to Horace Earle who is a very low keyed and great salesman. I would give zero stars if I could. Just left the dealer after going in to sign a contract for an out the door price I was previously given in writing. However upon getting ready to sign the contract the price rose $940 dollars ( destination charge.) Sales manager then tried to lecture me on how they price. Just wasted total of about six hours visiting this dealer. Total bait and switch sprinkled with lots of dishonesty. In search of an honest dealer.
Called ahead to see if they had the 2015 car that I was interested in purchasing. They said Yes....we have them in the lot. Drove 1 hour to find that they didnt have ANY! I expressed my frustration to the manager. He tried to cover for the liar. If they lie in the small things...theyll lie in the big things. Ill buy 2 new Hondas this month.....but NOT from BREWSTER HONDA
Purchased a new civic at this dealership. On the night of pickup I started driving the car at the dealer lot and the tire warning light immediately comes on. Unfortunately it was time of closing so their was noone to consult with at the time as everyone scrambled home. Checked tire pressure myself and it was half of what it was supposed to be. I filled it with air and couple days later the air pressure goes down so went in for service and it had a nail in the tire. Explained the situation to dealership that I purchased a new car and not a car with tires that had a nail in it. They did not want to work with me at all.

2022-02-20I had the smoothest experience Ive ever had at a car dealership here when I bought my new CRV. I worked with Mike via text, got everything set up that day, they detailed the car and worked with me on price and had the paperwork ready to be signed when we arrived. I was able to drive off in it that same hour so I could visit my family and surprise them with our new purchase. It has been the largest purchase Ive ever made as of yet, and I dont regret it one bit!! I love my car, and I am glad I could trust Mike and the good people at Lia Honda to have made this as good of an experience as they did for me. Theres something to be said about the home town vibe vs the chaos that go on in the city when dealing business. Thank you guys, I wont hesitate to do business with you again.

2021-09-04What a great experience! After looking online at cars and finding out that none of the Honda dealerships close to me didn’t have the civic hatchback options I was relieved to find out they had 3. Had a early morning appointment and after we drove over an hour to get there I was relieved to find happy employees that were cracking jokes that early in the morning. After the test drive came the part most dread the finance part BUT even they were amazing recommending warranty package cause they asked me how much I drove the car. It was great that they asked questions and got to know a little more then most places. All around amazing experience and will return even tho it’s a drive but it’s filled with great people that made it a relaxing experience instead of a anxiety attack.

2022-05-26Dishonest to say the least.All the way up to the general manager.This is my 3rd honda but my first one through Lia honda and I will Never lease or buy from them again.If you are, make sure you look at all the numbers first, whip out your calculator and read EVERYTHING! Or save yourself the time and stay away from this particular Honda dealership.I Leased a car that was $25,500 only to find out that they are actually charging me $30,000 after my first bill came in the mail. They never told me they were charging more otherwise I would never have agreed to paying 30k for a civic.Spoke with them and they Won’t do anything about it. Just giving me the run around and insisting that they told me they were going to charge me more.

2021-10-28My initial comment was deleted so here I am warning people again to NEVER GET A CAR FROM LIA HONDA OF BREWSTER! I nearly died driving a defected car that Chris and Norm sold me, claiming it was pre-owned certified so it apparently had various inspections. I am a 27-year-old woman and went in to purchase the car with my mother in August. Neither of us are exactly car experts, and Chris and Norm fully took advantage of this. I bought the used vehicle and picked it up later that week (since we were waiting for plates, etc). As soon as I pulled off the lot, the tire pressure light came on, so I pulled into a gas station and filled the tires. ALL of them had almost no air in them. I let this slide, thinking it was just a minor inconvenience. Later that week, the car wouldnt turn on. I assumed it was the battery so I tried to jump it. It did not jump, so I waited 11 HOURS for Honda Roadside Assistance to tow my car back to Lia Honda so they could fix it, since I JUST got the car. They called me the next day saying the car was fixed and it was just the battery (which seemed sketchy to me since they apparently inspected the car a week before, so I dont know how something like a dead battery could be missed.) I went to pick up the car the next day, and as I was driving down the highway, the car completely shut down. I barely got the car onto the shoulder. I towed the car BACK to Lia Honda and told them I could either sue them under the New York Lemon Law, or they can just give me a full refund and pay for the nearly $900 in tow charges. They FINALLY agreed to give me a full refund, but only after they tried to blame me for the defected car. They refused to pay my tow fees. I am truly blown away, not only by the fact that they knowingly sold me a defected car, but by how they handled it after the fact. I am absolutely disturbed by Chris and Norm at Lia Honda of Brewster. Please beware and do not give them your money. There are plenty of other dealerships in the area who behave in a more professional and humane way. Shame on you, Chris, Norm, and Lia Honda.

2021-02-25I’ve been going to Lia Honda of Brewster for many years! I’ve never had a bad experience. Everyone that I’ve dealt with has been helpful, and courteous. Jon Ayala has been my service rep for as long as I can remember - he has always been straight forward with all my cars needs. He’s never pushed me to do recommended work - he’s pleasant to work with.I highly recommend servicing your Honda at Lia of Brewster. You won’t be disappointed!!!

2020-10-22As a family who is very familiar with the car buying process, we were in need of a new (old) auto, like most folks, we were dreading the in store visit. From the time that we telephoned the store to obtain details about the car, to the interaction when we came into the dealership, our experience was positive. As a result of meeting with Barry Weiss, my outlook on car buying has changed.Barry is amicable, helpful, knowledgeable and all around a nice person to be around. They say one person can make a difference and from my experience at Lia Honda of Brewster, particularly my experience with Barry, I would say that’s right!!!!

2021-02-23I went in to Lia Honda at the end of my lease to see about leading a meeting Honda. I had excess mileage on my old lease and they represented that Honda Finance would absorb half of the excess mileage fee. They asked me to pay my half at the time of lease signing. I did. They then sent in the paperwork to Honda Finance with my excess mileage payment as simply a down payment and left me to deal with Honda Finance for the full amount. I assumed this was a clerical error that Lia Honda would fix and I visited the dealership 3 times in 2 months and the salesperson confirmed to me that he knew the excess mileage payment had been made. I called Honda Finance and they told me what the dealership had to do. I wrote to the General Manager by email and followed up by phone every day. I even found out the General Manager had instructed the salesperson not to deal with me and that “he would handle it.” I guess handling it meant ignoring my calls and emails. DON’T DEAL WITH LIA HONDA. They are not honest and once they get you to sign documents they ignore their customers. I thought that they were honest and straightforward. I was very wrong!

2021-06-01The car buying process from Lia was a perfect, well deserved 5 star rating. AJ Esemplare did a fantastic job from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and options and took the time to explain everything. I got a great deal and feel that I will taken care of in the years to come. I also want to mention the finance part. Frank Cappadora did a great job handling the finance part. He went over all the paper work and warranty options in easy to understand details. This car purchase was the best one I have ever had. Thank You AJ, Frank and Lia Honda of Brewster.
