Laura Traudt assisted me to navigate the warranty service from Lia. Laura and the service Manager, Seth, worked with the warranty company, provided transportation to my office, and provided status updates when available. I am more than confident that should any future issues come up......this is the team that I want in my corner looking out for me.
Timothy Frank gave me professional and concerned attention with what turned out to be a need for ignition coil replacement. Also the honesty of the repair shop must be noted. I thought the repair would be TWICE what I actually paid but they were able to see precisely what I needed and charged me most fairly. This car is a 2003 and requires the geriatric attention it got . Thanks to them I can drive it some more .
Lia Hyundai is great. Used them a few times. Only thing is this last time I got my car back and it smells like gasoline in the car…. Hopefully it disipates. I’m assuming the mechanic had it on his shoes. That being said, it may be a good idea to start using those paper mats and the steering wheel covers as a courtesy to the customer.
Timothy Frank helped me out the day I came in. He was great, the checkup I was looking for wasnt entirely necessary but I wanted to bring the car in to check it out anyways and Tim assured me he would have everything inspected. Everything was done faster than he anticipated and I was in and out in no time.
I have been a customer of Lia Hyundai for 20 years. The service has always been excellent and timely. My most recent experience was for 5000 mile service and my service advisor was Laura. She was great. Listened to my needs and respected my Covid concerns. When questions came up, she tracked me down outside and kept things moving. Happy customer.
Brian Secord was very professional and efficient. The NY State Inspection was done promptly and I appreciated the bonus of the coupon for it this time. I find Lia Hyundai always courteous and reasonable to have repairs and maintenance done by their mechanics and service by the staff is always pleasant and timely.
Lia Hyundai and Brian Secord have always been my go to people for service. They are friendly and efficient, and my car is always ready when promised. This is my 2nd Hyundai, waiting for the hybrids to get another, and their service department is while I will continue to do business with Lia.
I had a great experience getting my car serviced on 7/12/22. I was in for an oil change, tire rotation and software update. From the time I pulled into the bay I was comfortable and received great customer service from Tim and Paul (I think). The service was done in a timely manner, everything was gone over thoroughly and the time it took was less than anticipated. I took a walk to Westgate to shop around while my car was being worked on. As I was in the store I could hear the rain coming down hard, I was thinking...I have to walk back in this to get my car, yuck. A few minutes later Tim called and said my car was done but also asked if I wanted someone to pick me up where I was, so I didnt have to walk back in the rain. YES, awesome thank you! When I walked out of the store, waiting right in front with the door held open was Paul (I hope thats right, the super nice shuttle driver) in the Lia Hyundai vehicle to pick me up. This was awesome! Eased my mind before it needed to be...lol Paul even had the door held open for me! It was like I was on the red carpet...ha haI also want to give a shout out the Jenn one of the service teams mangers I believe. I brought a concern to her about my car door handle and had anticipated some out of pocket expense. She listened, she offered a quick simple solution that made me super happy, which in turn made her super happy! Its a win win. Now thats what Im talking about in good customer service.It was really nice being treated like your business is valued. I had such an amazing experience at Lia Hyundai Albany yesterday. I originally had a later appointment and came earlier to see if I would be able to be serviced and thats when I encountered Mike Carpenter at the service desk. He was absolutely wonderful! He was very courteous and professional. He was able to accommodate me and that made me so happy. He demonstrated a level of customer service that was absolutely satisfactory. I was so touched by his demeanor, I spoke with the General Manager, Harris to express my gratitude and highlight Mr. Carpenters exceptional customer service! Thanks again Mike and God bless you!!!😊
Laura Traudt assisted me for my routine service call and also saw to an update on my engine computer in the form of a minor recall order. She was easy to work with and thorough which I appreciated a great deal.Although she reported that they were a little behind that day, the work was done sooner than anticipated and the car was clean and ready when I returned. She was a great help!I hope to see her at my next service appointment.Pat D

Mike Carpenter did an excellent job of guiding me through my vehicles service. He went above and beyond to assist me when my car was having an irregular issue. He kept me very well informed and made sure my vehicle was ready earlier than it needed to be. Thanks Mike!
Laura Traudt has done a wonderful job in assisting me to navigate any issues I have with my vehicle. She has been very knowledgeable and patient with me and sometimes with my family when they come along and always answers my questions while pointing me in the right direction. Very pleased with my service at Lia Hyundai at my last visit. They were quick, had great communication and my service advisor, Brian Secord, went out of his way to help and ensure warranty coverage which was a great help, especially right after the Holidays. Very positive experience all the way around.

Shane Dobert was amazing. He assisted getting us in and communicated directly with my husband for a faster easier fix for my car. He ordered the part and notified us immediately and got us in to get it fixed. I will go back for his customer service alone.
