Great prices different products not seen in other stores
Best value in town sometimes its hard to find items or they are out of on sale things great for fruit tomatoes milk and eggs

This was generous rating. Awful depressing store. Peppers pack i bought had rotten pepper. I bought a yellow honeydew for i think $2.38. I looked at my bill at home the cashier charged it as a spaghetti squash at .99 pound.Not everything yellow is a spaghetti squash. Cost me $3.43 instead. Awful experience there. Depressing produce section. Nasty looking. I will stick with stop and shop and shoprite which are cleaner and organized.
This is the store that has replaced best Market. It isnt best Market. Basically its a store full of no-name products. The bakery does have all fresh baked product. However beware of what you purchase. For instance the jelly donuts consists of a fresh baked donut with not even a quarter of a teaspoon of jelly inside. Its a convenient place to stop in if youre in a hurry and live close by. I miss best Market.
Fruits and vegetables are the best youll get anywhere. Especially the bananas grapefruits strawberries oranges and peaches.When it was best market I couldnt even eat these ,they were so dry most of the time. But now its like the quality you would get in California or Florida.Thanks Lidl. l!!!!
Strange store, cant do youre weekly shopping there. Things that are in the flyer are often not in stock. Milk, eggs very good pricing. Breads from bakery are good

Worst experience Ive ever experienced in a store. I have to read labels on packing for lifestyle. Employees made me feel terrible about doing that. Never been followed around a store before for reading to see if items are Kosher/ Halal. 2nd time came in employees saw me and avoid me. Posted a review, which never showed up on here. Cultural appropriation needs to be accepting here.
I needed a few basics . Great prices , friendly staffing thats always glad to assist you . Vacuum packed meats are a great value and delish ! Business hours that make shopping trips easy . Covid rules followed & dividers at registers .
Solid store, unfortunately this particular one is tiny and so it just cant have as much stock, but its convenient, clean, and largely very tidy. I recommend using the small cart if you need a cart, the aisles are not big cart friendly!
I’m sad Best is gone. Lidl only carries its own brand so if you like certain food brands (e.g. Wishbone or Ken’s salad dressing, cheeses) you won’t find it here. Only pre-packaged cold cuts. And they don’t bother taking food out of boxes. Disappointed.

Crowded. Didnt take coupons they sent me. Too narrow lanes. Ill drive further to the plainview location. Wilted flowers. Workers not moving when youre in isles. I got a $5 missing a third of it in my change. Of course in the middle she put it. There was frozen food and meats stashed all over the store today. There was chicken shoved in with the lettuces with the lettuce packaging open and browning and slimey. Its always brown when I bring it hone. There was a freezer taken apart withthe tools spread all over the isle. What a mess.
Went in for the weekend specials. 2 lbs of salmon for 4.99 and 1 lbs of walnuts for 3.79. Great store.
Lots of variety at value prices! Store brand products are a healthy alternative to the brand name counterpart at a better value! Recommended.

Had exactly what I wanted - avavados at a reasonable price. Workers were polite, store was clean, checkout efficient.
Store was very empty. 5 pm the where out of stuff bananas for one. Lettuce was expired by a bay cashier did seem to know what she was doing.
Ervy nice and well organized. Place is kept very clean and you get the good deals everyone loves from Lidl.
Definitely a gamble as far as what they have but it was clean enough. Wouldn’t be my first stop.

This is my local go to store. Quick, convenient and a broad selection of basics at a reasonable price.
Minimal name brands, small variety. Who cares if you can save 50 cents on milk if you cannot find everything you are looking for. The Farmingdale will probably be gone in a year.
Store was clean and the items I came for were easy to find. Check out was quick.
One of the things that your produce mgr is doing wrong, he is putting the watermelons outside in the hot weather under the sun. The heat ruins the watermelon.

2022-04-06Almost everything I wanted was in stock. The prices on some things are starting to rise but I guess thats everywhere. I only wish when that followed more of what Best Market offered. I miss the deli and the fresh salads. In a pinch though, this store is fine.

2022-06-09Great place to run in quick and grab something. The milk price is way too low. It expires sooner, so maybe its the milk that distributors had trouble offloading? Idk, but it tastes fine and we go through a gallon a day with 3 boys. They have their own food brands. Theyre also very low prices, but you sacrifice quality. It can also be a roll of the dice whether or not they have what youre looking for. Inventory comes and goes very quickly.

2022-07-16Lidl seems to be somewhat of a supermarket and a bazaar rolled into one. The selection is subpar. Its hard to do one stop shopping at this market. The previous business (best yet/best market) had their entire store dedicated to food. Lidl has since replaced food with knick knacks. While there may be some deals, this store seems like a miniature version of Walmart, and personally Id go to Walmart over lidl.Sales. Sales are decent. Ive gotten a few great deals at this market, for sure. However, their circular is devious. Where as most markets post their sales with a price per pound, lidl uses price per portion, which is typically under a pound. You need to do some math to figure out what you are really paying.Services are missing. This is one of the few markets that there is no butcher, deli, fish monger, bakery, etc. If they dont have what youre looking for, tough. Want a double cut pork chop? No. Want to smell the fish or pick a piece? Nope. Did you want a half pound of Swiss and 3 slices of prosciutto? Sorry.Baking items are limited. Frozen foods is limited, its more prepared frozen foods. Aisles are on the smaller side. Produce section is very small and limited.On the positive side, Ive never seen a long line at lidl. Its been fairly easy to checkout no matter when I go. Parking is ample. Stores are relatively clean and all look new, a dramatic change from what it was before. Check expiration dates for shelf items, especially specialty items.Bottom line, if you want everything under 1 roof, go to wholesale, Walmart or target. If you want all the food on your shopping list, go to any other supermarket. If you want to get 2 things that are on sale in the circular after youve done your math and then go to another market to get the rest of your stuff, lidl is the place for you.

2022-01-29I usually like lidl, their prices are good for some of their things. But I’m really disappointed in this location. Barely stocked, messy and selling outdated food! Went to get romaine lettuce and it was dated last week and it had dead flies in it, and was brown! Not returning to this one.

2022-02-19Some people call Lidl an off brand jewel and depending on your needs and what youre looking for, Id have to agree. Many of the prices beat other grocery stores hands down. Lidl isnt for everyone but if you get a chance to check it out, you will most likely find some things that youll take home.

2022-05-04This place is very disappointing, you cant actually do your weekly food shopping, because the choices are very limited its only good for the occasional sale item. So if you have time and gas money to wast this is your place.
