Awful prices in store. Much more expensive than other Lidl locations in the surrounding area. Milk for example was double the price compared to the East Meadow and Syosset stores. Was excited to have a location closer to my home but not anymore.
Horrible. I came on the first day and walked out - figured it was packed for the grand opening. I just stopped by at 8.30 on a Wednesday - long lines that dont move. I waited about 15 minutes, and gave up. The prices are also higher than other Lidls (milk was $4.19 today, and it is under $2 at other locations)Crossing this one of my list!
The old supermarkets that were here at this location were a-lot bigger with a good store layout. New updated store is alot smaller and very crowded.
I read good and bad reviews. I thought it was the usual Lidl. Well stocked and organized.
Prices seem to be the same now as the East Meadows and Franklin Square locations. Also, they sent out coupons in the mail so be sure to look for them. Coupons comes as a postcard and are usually $10 off $40 or more purchase each week for a month. Some items dont have price tags on the shelves and the price checkers around the store dont work.
Not really worth all the hype. Some items are priced well if they have it. Too crowded. Bakery area is a mess. Bring back Waldbaums.
Disorganized, messy displays; low stock on advertised specials, and what appears to be a Big Lots discount store in the middle of a supermarket. Seriously, why are they selling kiddie pools, power tools, and carpeted cat trees in the middle of the food? the prices are not so great, either, except for a few advertised specials. Very disappointed, will not be back.
This is very cheating. This (Garden city park) store is selling milk for almost 3 times higher than the other nearby lidle stores.
New store and still great prices like all the other Lidl.
I love going to Lidl because of Milk, Egg price is low but Garden city park Lidl price is higher than Franklin square Lidl, very disappointed 😔.
Not worth the price of admission...Poor store layout, all aisles in continual state of chaos, smells of wet cardboard...not really sure how Best Market became Worst Market.
I made a quick stop here while running an errand to quickly purchase a bottled chobani smoothie for my son who was hungry. I waited in line for 15 minutes to pay for this one item. I paid via Apple Pay and it cleared on my phone. I didn’t wait for the receipt and went to the restroom. The man helping me didn’t communicate that the transaction didn’t go through. On my way out of the restroom he informed me the transaction didn’t go through and wanted me to wait in line again to pay for the smoothie since he was helping the woman behind me. I was Pressed for time and needed to leave so I left the smoothie behind. I got to my car and my card was charged $52.49 for the groceries belonging to the woman behind me. How did my card not pay for my $1.66 smoothie but managed to pay for the woman behind me? I called customer service and the woman told me she can’t Cancel the transaction. She took all my information and said I will have to wait for the amount to clear since it is in pending status. I shouldnt have wasted my time and just called my bank without even bothering calling customer service. I will never shop at lidl again.
The store is freezing, it’s a mess with no signs of any employees. Only two checkout lines open. First and last visit.

2022-06-19Just opened so there were heavy crowds when I was there. Good stock despite the crowds and good selection of groceries and non food items you expect from this chain. HOWEVER, BE CAREFUL…the prices on some items are influenced by the neighborhood this store is in. For example: a gallon of milk here was $3.65 while at the Lidl in East Meadow it is around $2. This was the one that caught my eye but a few other items felt higher priced than I was expecting as well. Might be worth the trip to the other location if you are on a tight budget and these days, who isn’t?

2022-07-09Nice new location, but...bring a winter coat. As soon as you walk into the store, the temp goes down 30 degrees. I like it cold but, damn, it is freezing in the first aisle that is the meat section.They didnt have basic items that are usually stocked in the other local Lidl, and items that were on sale were totally gone. I guess this location is just too small, however, they may be expanding the store as there is construction going on. One of the main attractions here WAS the price of milk. It doubled last week to around $3.60 per gallon. Still better then other stores, even BJs, but that sucked. Maybe they could have kept the prices low if they limited quantities for it. Many times, I have seen people with carts full of milk gallons. They must be buying to re-sell in their own stores. That should not be allowed. Lidl has some unique items, and I want to like it, but it just seems to be inconsistent with having things in stock and the limited choices means it cant be relied upon as our go-to supermarket.

2022-07-02Friendly cashier. Great prices on lots of stuff especially compared to stop n shop & Cherry Valley Market. Certain items in my cart where almost 50% less than what Id normally spend at stop n shop. They have an app w coupons n discounts. I didnt download it yet but the cashier told me about it.

2022-06-22Garden city Lidl’s Price is higher than the other 10 minutes away Franklin Square Lidl and east meadow Lidl store for milk, Chicken and Egg, I was expected price should be the same, Milk price Franklin square Lidl $1.61 (red )but same milk price Garden City Park Lidl is $3.65 (red) as of June 15, 2022, price is terrible.

2022-07-027/2/22; Stopped in today to get a few camp chairs that were on sale. The two lines open were getting long so the supervisor jumped in, opened another line, to get people out quicker. I don’t think prices are higher here than other places, the jump in prices more has to do with inflation than prices vs. other Lidl stores. Got what I needed and got out. Thankful to have them in the neighborhood so I don’t have to go far to visit them for my breakfast, lunch and dinner needs!

2022-07-10Good prices on many items, but not on everything. Aisles are narrow, they should have smaller shopping carts so people can pass each other easily. Plus a couple of the aisles had a random pallet sitting there. It felt like a little disorganized with everything just in boxes on shelves.There arent enough check out lines. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and there were only 4 registers open.

2022-07-17Never have been to Lidl before so didn’t know what to expect however I won’t go back. Low quality store with very little options and name brands, seems like a budget grocery store, a lot of past expired items, cheese had mold on it, never going back

2022-06-23My first time shopping at this location. Brand new store?I was hoping for an improved layout at the front end. Plenty of registers but no cashiers. No plans for lines. No guidance for shoppers. No crowd control. There is a free for all at the front and not enough space to maneuver. Aisles get blocked and customers get frustrated.It is like whoever laid out the store has never shopped in one. A Lidl thought would have been nice.9:00 a.m. Thursday morning is probably a slow time.I will NEVER shop here on a weekend.
