Have only a small selection of groceries, a small produce selection, bakery, meat department, and frozen sections. Like the small variety of German beers.
Great place to shop for quality imported goods from Europe and the United states. Very well stocked and excellent customer service and staff are very helpful for customers needs.

Lots of good stuff. Really cant do weekly food shopping there because they dont carry a lot of stuff that a regular supermarket does. So if youre willing to make two stops, this should be one of them.
First visit here. I didnt have a lot of time to look at everything but I will head back there once I do. Store was very clean and organized. The clothing and other random items was a bit messy. Overall a good first shop.
Value bargains better than big chain stores
Nice. Brand new store. Helpful staff. Wide aisles. Interesting household products. Good prices. You wont be able to get certain things. I could not get grape jelly, raw sugar, flavored oat milk. And some items have limited selections like cake mixes or hot chocolate. But all in all a good experience.
The prices are often lower than any sale. All their dairy products are significantly cheaper than than any supermarket and the big box stores They do not list per pound prices on many things. The prices are per ounce on many items, so you need to be comfortable multiplying by 16. The layout is odd. It can be a little difficult to finding things.

This is a good location. The produce is excellent at this location.Also , huge selection of nice plants and cut flowers at this location.There is NO self check out at this location and the cashiers are S L O W.The Lidl specials aka the junk section is also well stocked at this location.Lots of parking and they have cart corrals in the parking lot.Bathrooms are at front end and always nice and clean.In closing this a one if the better Lidls only negative is the S L O W checkout process.

I was in the produce section to buy bagged salad almost all the salad was rotten and brown in the bags gross. Saw someone working in that section and told him. He told he would give me 30 percent off a bag. Lol I dont want rotten salad for free....this place is horrible..

My wife and I were thirlled when this Store in Oakdale open.Everytime we visited our children in North Carolina we always visited the one by them.Lately we have been very disapointed. Always out of stock on a lot of items. They only have one register opened.Very poor management!!!

Very filthy store. hardly any items that you would need for company at your Backyard BBQ. poor quality produce, poor choice of cakes and cookies. I worked in a supermarket as a manager for 40 years and I was extremely disappointed about everything with this store.
Clean store and friendly atmosphere! Associates were helpful, especially the Cashier (Reg#1) who processed my order. She was able to help me putting my order on the belt faster than I could because of my disability with my hands.The only thing Ive learned was the store coupon, $10 off with $40 or more purchased. I spent $90+ for Food and None-Food. However, I used my EBT Card for food, 1st. Then I tendered CASH, $30+ for none food and asked if I can use my store coupon. The store coupon didnt work so her supervisor explained why to the Cashier....so I kindly asked if it could be processed, manually, instead. The supervisor had applied the coupon, manually, with no problem.

I want to love this place, but the selection is weird and I know it suppose to be limited. But there are like 14 different kinds of potato chips & very few real bargains. Most fruit / veggie higher than Aldis. Maybe because this store is still less than a month old?
New competition in the grocery field. Interesting sale items besides food. So you can shop for junk food and junk household. Best attraction, nice clean open wide aisles and low prices.
A huge store with barely anything inside of it. The layout of it is so strange, it’s just empty. Walked out with less than half of my grocery list. No seltzer, no frozen vegan options at all, very small selection. Hardly any name brand items and a lot of their stuff aren’t even groceries. How do y’all not have hash browns, but have Barbie dolls, blankets and clothes ?? And isles and isles of different frozen shrimp ? 🤔 weird. I miss best market
Huge store with spacious aisles; variety of selection, vegetarian/Vegan options, bakery, and even miscellaneous items (ranging from clothes and exercise equipment to kids’ toys and home decor). I love shopping here!
When I first visited the lidl in Babylon, it was terrible. But when this took over best yet (formerly known as best market) I was impressed. The arrangement in the store was just perfect and it looked nothing like the old market.

Excellent, best store Ive ever went to!!! And my 3 year old daughter loved the mini carts, IT WAS SO CUTE thank you for adding those, everything was cheap/reasonable price and fresh food, well cleaned and organized.

You really got to see the prices in the store to believe it. Great employees and business model built on efficency without sacrificing quality. The loss in variety does not really have an impact as there is a Variety on things that MATTER, like cheeses, seafood varities etc. You really dont need to choose from 30 different types of ketchup.Thank you Lidl of oakdale

I love shopping at Lidls...prices are great, produce, fresh, meats and poultry fresh and reasonably priced. The Oakdale location is neat, and clean, workers pleasant and helpful.
Didn’t spend much time here after every container of strawberries had either rot or mold on them. Made me not want to get any meat or veggies. This place was supposed to be better than Aldi but they must go to the same distributor for their rotten produce
The layout is odd, there isn’t a customer service desk, there are no employees besides cashiers to ask questions , it’s just a different type of store that I personally think doesn’t fit well for being a Long Island supermarket chain. Waldbaums and best market were better for this location.
I work here. They dont have all the name brand products like other supermarkets and Best Market had. The prices are cheaper than a regular Supermarket now.
It was well organized, a few good prices with the usual LIDL selection, and checkout was very efficient with a friendly cashier. I was one of the only shoppers in the store at that hour. The experience was better here than at their E. Patchogue location where I have experienced a problem every time I have shopped there.
I love Lidl. Cant wait for the new one to open in Islip. Friendly cashiers & great prices. Havent walked into a Stop & Shop in a long time.

Another disappointing store that cant seem to keep everyday items in stock. And when you ask what happened to an item or when will it be coming back, they dont know. I just called the corporate office and asked the same question and was told:They dont tell us why. Thats some corporate policy.

Honestly never been more confused in a store in my life. The middle isles with random junk. It’s like a cross between a grocery store/dollar store (random junk not price)/Costco... couldn’t find several normal groceries.

Went to the new Lidl today...was impressed...great prices on alot of things...loved the bakery area and all the german specialty items...gingerbread cookies and marzipan...what was not so great is limited varieties of certain soups...no diet drinks except diet coke...but using the app was able to save $$ I will go back...still like aldis too...they have alot in this store..check them ot!

Lidl is a German based company that sells a variety of goods. They dont sell a variety of a particular product (name brand) but enough to keep people coming back. Its like the budget version of Walmart

2022-03-27Kind staff, Im disabled and nobody rushed me. Their regular prices were comparable to stop & shops sale prices. Not a one stop shop, but great for produce. Bought some bulbs and cant want to plant them. Im vegan so I cant vouch for the other departments. Their store was clean, the electrical cart was charged (but theres only one). Download the app before you go, I didnt know there was a rewards and sales app until I was leaving the store, which sucked because I spend at least $70 per food run. The vegan croissants are amazing. Great dreads in the frozen section. All around good experience.

2022-06-08It takes a while to get to know Lidl. There are several choices that are usually available and at such great prices at times that it can be quite a surprise. There are very good choices of cheeses and chocolates. The bakery has some tasty choices of fresh baked goods. There are fruits and vegetables that I like so much that I must go there to purchase. Its a great place to browse and look at the merchandise that has very little to do with food! So if you have time, relax and check those out, too. Some other stores play music that makes me want to run out ASAP! But not at Lidl, thank goodness. The music playing in the background is usually relaxing and pleasant which helps me to enjoy this shopping experience as well.

2022-07-18Nothing special about this store. Prices are competitive to other stores of the same type. Only 1 checkout open on a Saturday afternoon. Not many brands I was familiar with, thats why pricing is competitive.

2022-04-18Some things are OK to buy. You really have to look at 🍖 meat section. There was black hamburger meat in case. Bought potatoe pancakes outdated. Like I said there are things you can purchase but look carefully

How am I supposed to earn points if I cant purchase anything???

2021-10-06Love this store. They have an amazing selection of products at unbelievable prices. I just bought a gluten free pizza for $4.97 when they are $9.99 elsewhere. And its a name brand. The associates are super friendly and the store is very clean.
