I have a storage unit at this location at Amityville since over a year now. Were very satisfied with the service and especially would like to mention the name of Dana who showed her honestly in returning the extra money that was paid to her for my unit. She called at least 3 times and left a note with her colleague that the money should be returned back to me. Thank you again Dana and thank you Life Storage at Amityville 👏👏

I love this storage company! In the past I have stored at the farmingdale location where I was greeted by LaShawn. Here I am again in need of storage. I have since relocated so I came to the Amityville facility where I was happily surprised to once again be greeted by LaShawn. Her professionalism and knowledge of what she does makes moving so much easier. Customer service is extremely important and she goes above and beyond. Sad to say goodbye everyone has been wonderful over the years. I will never store anywhere else. They have so accommodating over the past 7-10 years. Whenever I had a concern about getting an additional unit they always had one available. Great company and the the people that work there.

This is the only place Ill ever store my valuables.I had recently lost my mother and Ive been looking for a place to store her belongings before I give them away to goodwill. I took a chance with Life Storage in amityville and its the best choice Ive ever taken. My valuables are secure and in mint conditions. I dont think I would have trusted anyone else. To top it all off, Leshawn and Douglas made the effort to go above and beyond when they listened to my story about my mother and offered the cheapest available unit for me. So Im spending so little for such a huge sentiment. I am thankful to store here and I will continue to store here as well.Give leshawn and Douglas a promotion they make storing so much easier.Dont store anywhere else but with them
The gal that helped me set up, was sweet, personable, spoke well, professional and really patient.. It was a Sunday afternoon, and my time with her ran way after 4pm closing time... I did not feel rushed... The place was clean.. The hallways wide... Im glad another friend had suggested I use Life Storage...

Ive had 2 diff storage units in diff places on long island, ny.. This ones my FAVE!! The layouts of the units are WAY better and makes accessing ur stuff SO MUCH easier PLUS, they are the LOWEST RATES ive personally came across. I got a HUGE locker 8X10 (at least it seems HUGEEE) and its CHEAPER then the smaller units ive always gotten!! Customer Service was alo TOP NOTCH and theres a special going on... You pay for ur 1st month and the 2nd months COMPLETELY FREE, and they have trucks you can borrow to move your stuff and theyre FREE OF CHARGE to use ZERO DOLLARS... Bye Bye UHauL!! How AWESOME is that??

Need commercial application. Driving on long island, your directions are suited for cars. Some times it tries to put me on roads commercial vehicles arent allowed on.

Nice storage facility I have no complaints
Ive been at this facility for many years, through three changes of ownership. Life Storage seems to have really cleaned the place up and made some key investments. The building is only about ten years old, its clean, climate controlled, and the staff is very courteous (shout out to Nancy and Jeff!) Store with confidence.

2022-03-31Nancy is amazing and should get a raise and/or promotion - her persistence is the only reason the manager called me back when the doors were broken for a month (supply chain). At the bare minimum, please make sure the AC works in the office this summer since the heat has been broken all winter. And don’t worry about the $30 credit I was promised and never received, at least I have my $20 lock.

2022-06-14Just rented a storage unit today. I reserved my unit online and came down to amityville to check out the unit. Ariel was the gentleman who helped me out. He was awesome! Very informative and very helpful considering this was my first time renting a storage unit. He was extremely professional and answered any and all of my questions. I would recommend this storage facility to anyone. Top notch service!!

2019-02-27Where do I begin. I used this storage for six and a half years. Fantastic. I had some of my collectibles here. Comics ect. The best service. The best Units. Access to the facility was always great. For all the I had my things here, I NEVER had an issue. If...fingers crossed, I ever need to use a storage again I would use Life Storage.
