We recently held our sons Bar Mitzvah at Life and it was the party of a lifetime. We could not have been happier. The whole team at life - Steven, Betty, Miranda, Woo, Nathan, Denise and all else were on target, professional, easy to work with - they provided ideas, timelines, support and guidance every step of the way. From the planning to the extra add-ons to the amazing food, decor, service and presentation - both adults and kids had such an amazing time. And we were thrilled to have been there. MC Sam was a winner too - he also made the party SO fun for all. Good thing this was our oldest and we have another son to celebrate at Life again! Thank you all.

Went here for a birthday party. Place is great, kids get to jump around for a hour or so, then food. The food was bought from the place and it was decent (chicken fingers and chicken parm).
I had my daughters 4th birthday party in one of their rooms and it was AMAZING! I couldnt believe this huge space was reserved for us! It had the jungle gym, a huge open space, couches, our own bathrooms, and a rock climbing wall! Toy cars for the kids to ride on and a section for smaller toddlers/babies! Then, we had a party room for cake and food in a separate room within that humongous room! The staff was great, food was great, and they did a fantastic job with decorations and the owner Steven is so professional to work with! 5-star place and staff! I highly recommend! I would definitely do another party there!
We have already had two parties at LIFE because we organized many families in our grade to have joint Bnai Mitzvah parties rather than individual nighttime parties. In my mind, this is a perfect party venue for so many reasons. I have to start with the people who run LIFE -– Steven, the head of it, and his entire staff. In so many conversations we have had with Steven, from the contract, high-level party approach, food, decor, buses etc.. down to the smallest detail, Steven has always been completely above board, helpful, enthusiastic and willing to accommodate our requests, when at all possible. After we told him our price point, he also made sure that our choices stayed within it. His staff is also extraordinary. Every interaction we had with them, including those that our 13-year-old kids had, were extremely positive and productive. Everyone working at LIFE makes it so clear that they are there for you -- to design and run the best party possible. I have seldom worked with people who get customer service so right, and it makes an enormous difference. The very large venue itself is amazing because it accommodates so many different activities. It has an arcade, laser tag, mini bowling, a great bar area right in the middle of the space, a huge room for either dancing, sports or any other activity you may want, and a good-sized smaller room also. It also has an amazing play structure (that our teens kept wanting to play on but were too big to do so) and a rock wall. LIFE also can decorate their wonderful space in so many different and compelling ways depending on what look and feel you want. The driving distance from Manhattan, too, is totally manageable. I really cannot recommend LIFE more highly for whatever event you are hoping to have.

We had a school graduation party at Life. It was amazing. Steve and the team were well prepared for 150 8th graders. Everyone was safe, happy and entertained. The DJ and MC kept everyone engaged in the party. All over a great experience. I highly recommend this venue.
Fun place. Has arcades for tweens and parents alike (although a bunch need some repairs), a jungle gym thing for little ones, laser tag, mini bowling, ping pong, foosball. Big area for eating and such thats separate from everything which was nice. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to. Very friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend checking it out.

Fun! We had our company party there again this year after being away for 3 years. A much improved party from last year which was at a local hotel.The service was friendly and great. Bars had little wait time. Appetizers were good, although passed hors doeuvres were way hard to locate and run for too short a time. The appetizer stations were nice, I found a fish taco stand and a cheese/crudite table - not sure if there were others. The dinner, although buffet style, was tasty with a lot of meat/fish and veggie options. There was a bit of a delay after the announcement though. Dessert was decent but unannounced. Ice cream was a bit melty/messy and there were no spoons to serve yourself toppings. Passed warm cookies/brownies/donuts were nice though.The MC DJ (owner?) was entertaining and handled the music well. Typically mix of multi generational music, but he could mix and read the crowd pretty well. The arcade area was really popular and the trapeze artist, slight of hand/magician and clown/juggler were a fun touch for our carnival theme.Everyone I knew had a pretty good time.
Was there for an affair and had a so so time. They have a games area that all the kids got a card to use to play them but my niece and others had problems with them saying no money on cards. According to the host they were supposed to be unlimited. And there were a lot if the games that were out of order.The layout for the party was cramped. The kids had the huge play area but the adults had a small room for cocktails and the bar was so small it was hard to get through. I wound up going to the kids area to get a soft drink. Much quicker.The main hall for the reception was nice a large and had more room. The food served was ok but it was buffet style and not a lot of meat was placed on my plate by the server.The place is a bit out of the way and I passed it because it looks like a warehouse and was not clearly lit in the dark.
Went for a family gaming event so my review does not reference a private event, only the play and game areas which were tired, worn and boring. We were a group of about 18 ranging in age from 9 to 75. The video games were old and few. Small air hockey table and the laser tag simple.and boring. The equipment looked as if it were purchased at a bankruptcy auction.
I love LIFE! the place to be. You dream it, they deliver it. Have no dreams of your own, no problem, they have plenty. This space morphs into anything you need- formal, casual, themes. It suits the young (perfectly) and the old(happily). From intimate to enormous. More importantly, this is a family owned business so their hearts are all in. Steve and Sharon Zuckerman are the perfect blend of creative and organized, calming and (just a little) crazy. They are respectful of budgets and deliver way more then you would ever imagine. A one stop shop for everything event. From a first birthday party, to a mitzvah, charity events, even a wedding. Theres nothing they cant do and do well. We hired this dynamic team for our one of a kind bat mitzvah. No matter the ask, the answer was always the same, okay, we got this. As a result, my daughters bat mitzvah is still the highlight of her life and ours. We suspect it will go down as the top three life events along with her wedding and her first child! Do not hesitate. In fact, I just hope you pick a date thats open!!!!
We had our two sons Bar Mitvahs here. It was the most wonderful memorable parties ever. The staff was great and extremely attentive. Everything was easy and stress free.
Run, don’t walk, to sign your contract and host a party at Life if...1/ you want to have a blast,2/ you want to work with professionals who listen,3/ you want to work with a team who truly cares,4/ you want your guests to have the best time,5/ you want to create lifelong, happy memories.Like many mothers, I want things to be as perfect as possible for my children. Therefore, I probably have ridiculous high standards, but somehow Life beat my expectations. My girls shared a B’Not Mitzvah and told me it was the happiest day of their lives.Don’t doubt this place. Owners Steven and Sharon Zuckerman are nothing short of spectacular.

A decent event space for cooperate parties. The bar staff has no idea how to make a proper drink (or ours didnt at least, two years in a row) but they pour heavy so that makes up for it.
The staff was really welcoming! We had a work event there and it was great The place is well maintained, and clean. The staff was really helpful and nice. It would make a great venue for a private party.

Used to be very busy but because of the covid not a lot of things we can do . Nice place for birthdays.
Company holiday party held here for the second year in a row. Food was slightly above average and the cash bar was poorly stocked but fairly priced.

2022-02-05We had my son’s 6th birthday party here and the whole team did an amazing job! Everything was taken care of and all we had to do was show up. The high ceilings and spacious venue made us feel really safe as there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Thanks for everything. After no birthday party last year, our son was so happy to have this amazing day with his friends.

2022-03-06I dont know about the place. Was only there to meet the Hastings-on-Hudson Vine Squad for a vine cutting event. I arrived by bike both times I was there. We were cutting invasive vines along the Sawmill River. I know at least one person made use of the parking lot. I only gave it 3 stars originally because this comment had nothing to do with the place itself. Im upping it to 5 stars now knowing that the owner makes the parking lot available to community events. Consequently this review should only be useful to someone or organization that might want to use the parking lot. It would not be helpful to someone interested in the event space other than I can say from experience that the parking lot is quite large and there are other areas nearby that one might park on the off chance the capacious parking lot filled up.

2021-07-15FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!!!!My husband and I decided to throw a last minute wedding on the day of our dogs 10th birthday, so we called up Sharon and Steven and told them all our crazy ideas, despite all our doubts, they told us anything was possible and we got to planning.Even after such a short amount of time, the event was more spectacular than we could have ever dreamed!!! Sharon and Steven listened to every single little detail we mentioned, and then some! The cocktail hour was warm and inviting. The ceremony was amazing (all thanks to Steven who preformed the whole thing!!). They even built this stunning chuppah filled with most gorgeous flowers! The food was awesome, the music was made for us and the staff was so well trained and happy to be there. My husbands (and groomsmen) favorite part was the arcade. Drunk air hockey anyone?! Mine was my bridal assistant, who greeted me right at the door with a (well-needed) mimosa!! She was by my side (and out of sight) the entire night, holding my dress, refilling my glass and listening to my crazy venting! She was amazing!Most brides say they have at least one regret from their wedding night... I HAVE ZERO!! Down to the bathroom decor, everything was absolutely perfect. Choosing Life The Place To Be for our wedding was the best decision my husband and I ever made! Sharon and Steven (and the entire staff) really went above and beyond to throw us the most BEAUTIFUL, FUN and UNFORGETABLE wedding!!THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!

2022-06-12Website: We are open 11a-6pm for family fun visits Saturday and Sunday. Just be sure to check Facebook or Instagram to make sure we are not closed for a private event.Facebook: No post about any private events since May.Call on the Phone to confirm: Message lets you know they only answer the phone Tuesday-Friday (?!?!) but check the website for up-to-date info.Being a Sunday in June, that means they are open, right? Guess again. Private event going on and informed that they arent even ready to be open anyway. Waste of time getting the kids together, driving to Ardsley, then sitting in the car figuring out a new place to go with upset kids in the back seat.

2022-01-23I can say we lucked out. It is empty, we needed a place for our toddler to let loose some of her energy and this was the place. $12.50 for 4 of us to enter for her to play. One other family in the space it was like we had it to our self.

2019-11-02A party venue specializing in kid and teen parties. There is a jungle gym and an arcade. There are several party rooms, and the staff will serve pizza and cake to the kids. There is an DJ and an organizer who will get the kids dancing. The bathrooms are ample and clean.

2021-08-04Beautiful venue for weddings and birthdays especially. Met one of the owners, husband and wife team, who was kind and humble. I thought she was the help when I asked her if she was the owner her demeanor did not change. I appreciated her poise and I will be back to celebrate an upcoming birthday.
