Life Time in other cities:
I was at the Harrison location today for a tour of the facility. Everyone at the front desk were so polite and courteous. Ann Marie was my tour guide. Thank you Ann Marie for the tour, for answering all my questions, your patience, and for the cup of cold water from the cafe. Ann Marie is an ASSET to this company. I did not feel any pressure to join. This is the MOST BEAUTIFUL fitness place I have ever visited. You can eat off the floors. They have state of the art gym equipment. The real estate here is massive. Everything here just huge - the swimming pools, the workout areas, the basketball court, the tennis court, the locker rooms, the spin cycle room, areas for yoga classes, WOW, WOW, WOW. This place should be on the cover of a magazine. I noticed lots of family with the children. It is a really safe place for the children. Folks, they have swimming pools outside as well with lots of lounge chairs. I am happy that you can be a month on month member with no contract like the other low quality gyms - 24 hour fitness, LA fitness, Equinox etc. The other gyms look like garbage compared to Life Time Fitness. THIS PLACE LOOKS LIKE A PALACE COMPARED TO THE OTHER FITNESS PLACES. This is a nice place to take your significant other - if you really want to impress. Maybe, you can get lucky to meet your future spouse here. If you join for only one month you will get an extra 7 days. There are no shortage of parking spaces here - there are parking all around the facility. You can even get a massage here folks. The only things missing here is a kitchen and a bed for me to stay overnight ..lol. When you are in this place you do not care about what is happening to the stock market, politics or war in other countries. This is the place to de-stress. For the people who reside in Manhattan, you can just hop on the Metro North Train to White Plains or Harrison, and spend a weekend here - you can spend all day at this facility and stay at a nearby hotel. If you prefer, you can pay $50 for the entire day and hop back on the train later in the day. Well worth it for the price of membership. I will sign up very soon. BTW: there is a Wegmans across the street. It is also about a 5 minutes drive to The Westchester Mall and downtown White Plains.
Been to several lifetime gyms in this country...This one is mediocre at best. Alot of very old cardio equipment. 4front treadmills that are old and and not working properly as well as Techno gym treadmills which half of them are broken and are pretty much trash when I comes to high end treadmills... This place is in need of a serious cardio area update fast, or I will be returning to equinox.
I’ve been going to Lifetime Athletic for about 2 years now. The facility is brand new. It’s always being well maintained and is super clean. Highly recommend if you live an active lifestyle in the Westchester County area. Fun fact: I believe you also get access to the Chappaqua location when you sign up at the Harrison club. Check with your membership representative to confirm this is still active!
I joined Lifetime Fitness in March of 2020 And never got a chance to experience much due to COVID19 and the shutdown. They were great and put a hold on my membership until May 1st of this year. I started back and have gone regularly the last 2 weeks. The place is a cross between a huge fitness complex and a Country Club. It’s beautiful and has pretty much everything you may want. Now that the outside pool is opening, I can relax and chill after a workout. This is definitely the nicest “gym” I have ever belonged to. Take a tour and you will agree!
Visited a friend and he brought me here. Im now upset that the nearest one to me is 1 hour away. This place is what you call a gym with amenities. A club! And thanks to (I believe this was his name) Tresh, Pickleball Coordinator, for showing us the game! We had a blast for nearly 3 hours!!!
Best place to be. Especially for families. Worth of money. Only thing I wish they had some lounge TVs show inside kids Academy to see how kids are doing inside. Somehow I don’t see anything how things are working and it makes me feel very much uncomfortable for little ones who doesn’t talk much to explain. I wish as a parent we could have an option to see them from tv while waiting for other kids to finish their swim lessons.
While I have enjoyed Lifetime for a while, I have to say I am very disappointed in the way they have found ways to create additional charges without notice. After the memberships hold due to the pandemic, I recently reactivated my membership and included my family members so they could enjoy the pool. Preparing for back to school, I paused their membership and suddenly my monthly charges went up $30 dollars, just like that! Nobody alerted me of the changes. On top of that there is a service fee for making changes in your account which is basically covers one admin spending less than 5 minutes changing a setting on the account. It seems like Lifetime doesnt value already committed members and it is willing to create bad experiences and losing members instead of maintaining an established loyalty.
This place is just a huge mess after the long shutdown of the pandemic! They probably lost too much money so now trying to save on everything including customer service and charging your card unethically. Not only their customer service is the worst, you can’t even reach anyone to receive this poor service! They kept charging my card after multiple requests (left by voice messages and not speaking to an actual person, obviously) to cancel my membership. No body ever got back to me, but my card kept getting charged. When I finally received a call back they were willing to cancel my membership but not to refund the money charged since the time I have requested to cancel. They weren’t WILLING to look back to find the messages I left (I can find the exact dates), just repeated “unfortunately we can not help” until I finally got “transferred to corporate” (which is also an automatic message) which was actually done automatically without letting me say anything so Brena from so called “customer service” basically hung up on me.It’s not even about the money, it’s a principle, a place I used to love which basically stole money from me- probably by mistake and lack in staff to get back to me or answer the phone, but by not willing to to anything to resolve this make this literally theft, unethical theft. They used to be AMAZING but this place is nothing like it used to be. Just save your money or go to equinox.
I go here for physical therapy but the facility and grounds are gorgeous. The place is squeaky clean, non- contact temp taken when you walk in. Very large, plenty of spacing. Very friendly staff. Lots of services- manicures, hair salon, shop with gym clothes, cafe where they also sell large containers of protein powder and other health snacks. Were moving out of state, otherwise Id consider getting a job as a personal trainer here.
Great facilities.Staff are pleasant. They have a nice indoor pool which is heated and ideal for winter and little ones. They also have a lap pool for swimmers. They have an outside pool with two slides and an outside Cafe area. They also have tennis, basketball, pilates, zumba, yoga and lots of fitness classes and lots more.Theres a well serviced kids academy which you can use to keep your kids at while you work out which is a huge plus if youre a parent. During the summer they have a summer program for kids and events all year for parents/kids. These events need reservations.Summer camp is a separate fee for members and non members.Theres plenty of free parking.
What an absolute joke!! Overcrowded!! Turn outs they are charging more to swim in the summertime. They built a new pool basically to serve drinks to adults. Nothing ever changes here. Wow! Clearly disingenuously operated from GM to sales. Yes, its a giant gym with high ceilings. It basically specializes in services for kids and families. Yet the question is, is it worth the high fees? For a rather large monthly expense and other up charges there is a small salon, small cafe, untidy lockers, sometimes slippery shower floors, an average tennis program, decent pools. The fitness area is large, as is cardio. Good classes. Nice squash courts and lounge. In the summer, because its so overcrowded, swimming on Saturday, Sunday or Monday mornings is like swimming in a sewer. They do not have a bathing cap rule, plus sun screen, and oils travel in the pool and the filters are not big enough to clean it for the next morning. Its gross. Yes, they have quality babysitting services. The boutique store a very overpriced. The company frowns on bringing guests and charges an exceptional fee. Management is fair at best. Theyre a company with about a 100 plus facilities but only 14 of them are this size. The company was recently purchased in hope that they can turn around their operations. Yes, their intention is good, however, they lack with the little things that are so often needed by a health club of this size! What a shame! Just ripping members off.
Well I called to see how much it cost in Harrison, NY. The guy told me it’s 295 for my child and me. Then there additional fee of 180 per month for the summer. They are crazy. 470 a month for what. I visited there. Not clean. No social distancing parking is ridiculous and life guards always flirting not doing there job.
For the money, there is a lot of options. They do a nice job of getting good equipment in and keeping it fairly maintained. The trainers are really cool but you can tell they are under a lot of pressure to sell.Everything in there is measured - so you will feel “nickel and dimed” it’s not uncommon - run very very tight from a sales perspective— they have all the angles to monetize just about every square foot of the club figured out. All the programs and pricing are really sharp and calculated for maximum profit. As of late, they’ve had a string of theft both in the locker rooms and parking lot. For all that money, they should invest in cameras in the parking lot.Much of which is included in your membership. For a family, be prepared to spend upward of $500+ every month, plus all the extras - so like well into the $700-$900 (in the summer at the pool). Stay away from the club tab - it gets out of control and hard to balance. The app where the charges are is difficult to navigate and charges can sometimes double up. They even monetize the magazine they send to your house - brilliant! :)Recently they instituted to hit members up for an extra $100 for the pool. And tried to set upan additional Adults Only area for even more money. Many members were talking about this in summer 2019.At the end of the day, if you go to Equinox you’ll pay the same amount for less services. So they have a lot to offer in that regard. The guys who take care of the locker rooms are super nice and accommodating.Try it for a month. Cancel the 30 days in advance on the day you sign up or they’ll hit you for another 30.I think you’ll be happy - if they go back into the public market (I think they will), buy the stock they know how to make $!
The gym itself is nice and is one of the largest gyms in the area. Unfortunately they make sure they get every dime from you and their sales staff is not at all flexible with cancellation. I haven’t used the gym in over a month because it’s far from my home. I called to cancel for this reason and was told I could only cancel by going to the club in person or mailing a letter (only effective cancellation upon receipt). They made me pay for the additional days it took me to be able to get to them gym (again the location is not close to my home and that’s why I cancelled) and when I asked the sales manager whether they could help me out at all with the extra days they charge you for after you cancel he refused without even thinking about it or trying to figure out some way to help (despite me notifying him that I haven’t even used the gym in the past 30 days at least). I have cancelled memberships at other gyms before including equinox and the equinox sales staff was much more willing to not charge me the full cancellation policy. Also, they allow you to cancel by sending a scan of a letter so you don’t have to make an inconvenient trip to cancel. It’s unfortunate that as soon as you cancel your membership lifetime doesn’t care about you. After this experience even if I moved closer I would not come back here. You’re much better off spending the $180 a month on equinox or a boutique gym.
We joined 6 months ago and the place was terrific; however they are expensive and 2 months ago they wanted to raise each member of my family another 25% because I alone use another Lifetime Gym at location by work. I called main office, sales people, other locations GM and no one said they could help. The best they could do was let my kids come off membership for me to be able to afford go to both Gyms. We terminated our memberships. The fine print says they can change rates anytime they want. Rates are different at each location and if you use multiple locations and alternate too much, they will ask you for more money. This is not what they promised when I joined.
BEWARE OF DOUBLE CHARGES and DISCRIMINATION.Its beautiful and flashy, but management is lacking.Money Talks but your skin speaks louder. My personal trainer was amazing. But the DISCRIMINATION from UPPER MANAGEMENT is beyond me.The facilities are beautiful, but beware of double charges. When you reach out to management about anything money related they give you a run around until you dont understand what life is.Everything is great until you run into a problem. Then no one cares about you.The departments do not communicate. I was told I was owed, then I was told I owed. Double charged and refunded all at the same time. WHAT does that even mean?!Be careful with this gym.Good luck!
I rushed to get here early 8:30pm so I can buy what I need to work out at the cafe. Cafe was closed. Cafe closes at 7pm I was told on a Saturday. If the gym closes at 12am why would the cafe close at 7pm at the price I pay as an original member, 5 hours before the gym closes. My membership keeps going up for my convenience 1 out of 10 complaints I have that go unanswered. Then I have to deal with the young kids attitudes that work here on top of it!!!!! Good news is the out dated vending machines working today. Bad news is its not stocked up of course why would it be. Basic management. Now there is no place in this gym at 8:30pm where I can get a bottle of water. I assume this is for my convenience the membership keeps going up? Leave a kid there for beverages only at the very least, very simple Management decision.
Simply the worst gym and spa We’ve ever joined. They tried to upcharge my wife and daughters to get their hair done at the spa because it took longer than usual. This is after doing their hair with no upcharge for months. We thought that after paying over $1000 a month for memberships (gym, spa, swim classes) for a family of 4 including multiple appointments at the spa for hair care, they would’ve treated us better! Don’t waste your time joining this gym. You may be impressed initially but wait till an issue arises, they’ll disappoint you. Most of the Management Staff are not trained to handle loyal customers. I’d never run a big company like this! Shame!
We like lifetime a lot, it’s very nice sometimes crowded, but that’s understandable, everyone wants to be a member. The manager is always helpful Mike.A lady that works on cleaning department is very nice and always trying to accommodate the members, yesterday she handled a nice worm towels to my kids, and they were so happy. Her name is Jessica - facility operation team.
I have been paying for a $30 freeze for over a year and a half because a staff member accidentally didnt cancel my membership when I moved to the city, and I foolishly did not thoroughly check my credit card statements. Lifetime took no accountability for it which is fine, but now they are asking I pay two more months because that is policy. not fair. Great place to workout, but dont even try and cancel. They make it a nightmare.
I have been a member of Lifetime for over three years now and I have always been a very big fan! Lately however, its taking a turn for the worse. Its following in the footsteps of gyms that were once successful then failed and here is the winning formula...increasing prices while decreasing value. Most recently the gym changed its amenities offering. Might not seem like a big deal but since I shower at the gym every morning having amenities was an important deciding factor for me. They used to have JR Watkins products - shampoo, body wash and conditioner. My sales person was very quick to promote this and point it out when I went on my tour. Within the past few months they changed to a no name and its a body wash/shampoo COMBINED as one. Yes you read that right...this way of healthy living company thinks its appropriate for the same product that washes your skin to wash your hair. The conditioner is well NOT a conditioner. I asked for a list of ingredients (cause the no name brand doesnt have ingredients on the bottles as they did before...) but am still waiting..... For months we have all been complaining to team members at the gym, who have been nothing but kind in their responses, but you can tell it was a corporate decision so they could do nothing. We then took to all calling corporate..and still nothing. Well today I called again...I was SHOCKED by the way I was treated by the two member client relations staff I spoke with. To the point where I asked to speak to someone else that was part of this decision making so they could hear my feedback. To that I was told LITERALLY our executive team does not speak to members. Oh ok...so the executive team can take our money but they cant talk to us?? Maliah and Justin were two of the rudest client member relations staff I have ever spoken with. The lack of customer service and relations at this corporation is shocking! Shame on you LIFETIME. The staff members at Westchester would never treat members this way....you should learn some manners from them! The three stars are ONLY because I love the Westchester staff! Corporate wise this gym is making decisions to increase revenue and decrease value...showing its true colors!
Just received an email saying that my dues are going up. My jacket was stolen from the hangers in the mens room. The club is getting so crowded that you cannot walk or jump rope at times. I get that this is a business, but the company is going in the wrong direction to maintain its projected high-end image. My suggestion is to look for a smaller boutique experience. If you want to use the pools, they are unbelievably crowded in the summer. They increased the costs for summer only members that only want to use the pool, but that has not fixed the overcrowding. They ought to restrict month to month members completely from the summer months, and look at regulate membership to a comfortable level so that members feel they are getting this premium experience that they are selling.
I like the gym very much but I would like to see more Pilates/Barre classes early in the morning (5:30 or 6 am - as they have for other types of classes) and the ladies bathroom is gross. The walls are splattered with whatever - and Ive been to gyms that are able to keep the walls around their toilets very clean and wiped down. Other than that, the energy of the gym is good and friendly. The app is very helpful for planning classes.
My kids take private tennis and swimming lessons at this place. In addition, most of my family members are also members. I tried using a guest pass and was told by a manager or supervisor that I would have to pay $50 FOR the DAY or ENTRY, since i used a prior guess past from another family member the same month.$50.00 to be a guest, a little too much and not worth it. I think that was he point though.I’m sure if i looked a little different this supervisor or manager would have treated us a little differently. But hey, it’s the new TRUMP era...
Kinda snooty, but nice gym :D. Everyone is COVID crazy so maybe thats the deal. Lots of cool folks but finding it hit or miss: Kwalme at the front desk is super friendly but the pool girl who signs you in for laps is quite unpleasant and antagonistic for no reason. Maybe its stressful dealing with entitled peeps all day so maybe cant blame her.
Lifetime is a first rate gym with so much equipment and so many classes it never feels crowded! It has 2 indoor heated pools, I very large outdoor pool with a slide you might see at a resort in Florida. They have a camp everyday of the year for little ones called kids academy which keeps your little ones busy learning sports, dancing, Legos rock climbing, etc. all while you work out! They also have a pretty good cafe and a spa!
Continuing poor performance by this location. Outdoor [pool frequently closed during the summer, coupled with $100 chair fee, eliminated any benefit of having the outdoor pool. Addition of extra flat screen monitors, gym equipment and holding training classes on the gym floor make the it increasingly unpleasant to simply work out on the machines. On any financial matter involving dues or fees, simply refuses to resolve any monetary dispute. It has not been honoring founding member agreements, which preclude fee increases. It also will do everything it can to avoid having a member place their monthly member fees on hold, even where the member personally went to the gym to do this one month in advance.
If you have money for some luxurious things in your life, this should definitely be one of them. They have everything you need, want and then some. A lot of stuff for kids too. Tons of classes for them where you can drop them off, while you work out. We have our son in swim and tennis classes, which are extra, but both have wonderful teachers. It gets expensive, but definitely worth it.
IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GYM THAT DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE BASED ON APPEARANCE DO NOT COME HERE.I was a member since the day this gym opened and the way I was treated was beyond disappointed. Never in my life did I think I would be discriminated on for having tattoos and loving to work out. I had taken a fitness video at 11:55pm that I posted on my instagram. One of the managers sent me an email banning me from the gym and lied and said an employee took the picture. She went into my personal social media and violated my privacy and used my own post against me. She never shared with me the policies or had a conversation about it. It is unfortunate that people treat other people this way. I have spent several months trying to understand why I would be banned from a place I love going to.I am trying not to let one person represent an entire organization but its hard when no one cares. Does lifetime discriminate against its members and stand by this decision? At this current moment I would like someone with higher power to contact me and address this situation. As of right now I have nothing but terrible things to say about LifeTime and everything it represents and will guide every person away from this gym hoping that no one else has the same experience I did.
Awesome fitness center..Everyone was warm, friendly and helpful. Yoga was wonderful...The indoor and outdoor pools are beautiful as well as having clean fresh towels at your disposal..Loved the sauna, gym and the delicious food in the cafe..So much is offered...Great place to relax and get in shape.
So I dont know who these reviewers have encountered at Lifetime, but I feel that everyone that works there, are really pretty good people. The front desk is attentive (not on their cell phones) and the only time there is a line to check in is because members dont have their cards ready, were all guilty of it.The locker room attendants are always visible, and are nice to you (especially when you acknowledge their presence and smile occasionally, weird I know)I dont do private training sessions, but it hasnt stopped me from being able to speak to them, ask them what they think about a workout, etc.. the group instructors are great, any issue Ive seen with classes (I.e. not enough weights or straps) they have been solved .. Ive seen staff CARRY SPIN BIKES just to accommodate classes. Yes some of them are PACKED. (A sign of a great group fitness program. I think its foolish to expect empty classes at 5:45 on a weekday, or 915 on Saturday.) Im guilty, ive turned away from some, but if you want the workout, youll tell yourself go in and ask the instructor if they can find me space. And they will. Like I said they CARRY BIKES.As for the free weights and machines, Ive never seen one out of service for more than a day. And obviously there will be weights left on racks, anyone who has ever been to a gym knows this. I feel its NOT the gyms issue all the time- on peak hrs, yell at your fellow members, just like wiping down mats, or balls after a group class.I dont have a child, but the kids academy is AWESOME clearly because I never see kiddies running around, unless its under their parents supervision in the cafe. Theyre over there teaching kids Mandarin, Spanish, karate, tennis, and more.. it must be awesome to be a kid at lifetime. The only reasons I wont give 5 stars is because 1. I feel there needs to be adult time for the waterslides and rock wall. Im paying, not these 10 year olds so if its 10am and I want to waterslide, I should be able to without waiting for 3pm.2. After the evening class rush and it gets quiet, the cafe staff slows down also, or I only see one person working, even though their co-workers are visibly taking breaks while there is a line forming, I know its late but dont leave your co-workers out to dry.Members- be great membersGuests- find a lifetime member, ask to be their guest, youll have a good time.
Facilities are beautiful and very modern. Unfortunately, customer service is lacking to say the least. I had many many issues last summer with the aquatics team and then later on to put my account on hold. Now I call to cancel my account and they say that I have to do it in person or send a letter through certified mail. I have never had a company make that kind of request. As a customer, I infer that the company is setting up a road block to discourage customers from canceling. When asked, the company said that they need to have a record. Again, I have canceled many accounts and have yet faced a company that made that kind of request. In summary, the facilities are beautiful and its a shame that the customer service does not match those high levels.
The gym and classes are great. The spa however is terrible. On one occasion I went in to have my eyebrows shaped and I walked out lopsided. Another time the colorist Juan became agitated when asked for specifics behind the color used. This facility might be top notch but some of their staff should be replaced. Avoid the spa at all costs.
I’m giving it a 3 because they have a ton of equipment that most gyms don’t have and the hours are great but.... they pull a bait and switch when you sign up. They told me when I joined and I have the handwritten copy of, my membership fee in 2016 was $159. I’m being charged $170.I brought my handwritten copy of my contract in with me and he tells me it’s a typo. Handwritten typo? Really? Hen he shows my my charge on the computer screen rather than showing me a copy of the actual contract that I signed. Which I have. For business practice I give it zero stars!I called the number you gave me because I was charged for July and August 10 days apart rather than a month apart ( thus the term monthly fee). No one would help me. Instead we were treated TERRIBLY!!! After 3 years of membership! I’ve never been treated so terrible by a place of business EVERRRR!!!! Totally disgusted by your business practices!
Not worth $159/month. It is a huge facility with everything under the sun but it is run poorly. And it is CROWDED all the time. They hire young staff and pay them minimum wage and in return the lockers rooms are filthy. Feces and urine on toilet seats even at 5am. Go to Equinox which is spotless and cheaper.
Today I was and the cafeteria with my wife and one year old daughter having breakfast after working out. I decided to bring the car in front of the main door bc it was raining really bad. I went to get the car and the guy today open the door and saw my face. When I came back to get my daughter I didn’t have my membership with me but the guy at the front desk saw my face but he start saying “ sir where is your membership” screaming make me feel I wasn’t a member this guy should get fired make lifetime look really bad.
Wow im always impress with this place I love the location awesome staff Michael Tosca my good friend amazing gentleman Miss Susan mistri awesome lady I always stop by to say hello to her every chance I get and the Life Spa Fitness amazing people there Melissa I dont remember the other ladys name but they all great amazing staff but Tanya she is super amazing she is my personal muscle pain killer lady massager she is the best shes just in top i never had anything like it one session and you just amazingly in heaven I would recommend this lady to anyone who has pain in their muscle Tanya I want you to know Im booking again with you every weekend if possible thank you lifespa for having such a knowledgeable staff and awesome awesome service
Great gym, I have been a member for over 4 years and I love this place, the only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we’re missing a COLD PLUNGE… many other lifetime gyms already have it and the new lifetimes that are being built are coming along with it, membership prices are going up, so I think it would only be fair for us to have one, especially when we have plenty of room there. Here’s an idea, we have two hot tubs, one of them is pretty much always out of service so how about we turn one of them into a cold plunge? If not you could easily intall them on the men’s and women’s locker room/changing areas. There are many benefits when it comes to cold plunges, and even more when you shock your body with a few minutes of sauna beforehand.

2022-02-27Was a member here in the early days, before they were bought out by corporate greed. gym was kept fairly clean and service was okay. At the time the rates were fair and comparable to what the gym offered.Tried resigning here recently with my family but they didn’t let me put my wife & parents on the same membership. Stating only two adults were allowed in 1 membership.I would say okay cool I get it, if I was trying to sign up with my third cousin but don’t call it a family plan if I can’t put my mom, dad & wife under one plan. These people are my literal family…..Greedy policy is greedy policy I guess.2 stars.

2021-11-10I have heard folks rave about Lifetime for years. Today, I decided to visit the club having moved to Westchester some months ago. The place is vast and has superior equipment, tennis courts, climbing walls, and pools inside and out. Everything here is spotless and organized. The managers truly understand the word differentiation. Love the club and can’t wait to work out!u2028u2028Update: Cannot believe it’s been seven months already. Still love Lifetime, and it really has the greatest facilities around. You get what you pay for here, and I give it a 10 out of 10. My only issue is the parking.u2028u202805/05/21: First day back in the gym today in over a year and am so happy. The club have done an exceptional job making sure everything is as safe and clean as it can be. All my fellow members were respectful and sanitize equipment as soon as they finished.11/09/21: To the Senior General Manager Susan Mistir, who moves on to a new challenge, my sincere thanks for the excellent work you have done here in West Harrison. We will miss you!

2021-09-23A cut above the White Plains NY Sports Club. Much better. The outdoor pool is superb especially for lap swimming.

2022-03-19I feel for the cleaning staff here. This is a high volume club and the 2 women who are the cleaners are assigned more than humanely possible.Cleaning between classes in the studios is sub par with mounds of dirt and hair on the floor. As a member of a “luxury club” experience I am cleaning my own equipment and mats. The Women’s locker room is truly run down. The lighted magnifying mirrors at the niches are missing as are the amenities of hair dryers, soap, deodorant, etc. Everyone must share from 2 stations (many don’t like to share at this club)-really not the luxury experience from even 3 years ago. Locks are constantly breaking and not being fixed. The previous general manager made everything a profit center and did not respond to members’ concerns. New guy come on and do better!

2022-04-01I haven’t decided whether I want to join the club yet as I spend most of the week in the city, so I’ve been occasionally using their day passes. Jen, who I met there few times at the reception on Sunday nights, has been the most friendly and delightful person to deal with. She made me feel very welcomed and I consider getting a membership just for that. Oh, and the club itself and amenities are great. I haven’t tried the classes yet.

2022-02-11Was great , but recently it is at an all time low. Hot tub has been out of service for over a month and when you ask about a repair you get a shrugged shoulder. Two days in a row limited towels at 530am. Today no soap in the shower. If you workout Sunday night you will never know what you find. Rates increae and service has diminished; I imagine it is not supposed to work that way.

2021-01-21Emily S from the management showed me around for a tour and I used a guest pass for the workout. Pandemic killed the special aspects of the gym but they have adapted and have safeguards. It is bigger and better than LA Fitness. It feels like a less personalized version of Clubfit in Briarcliff. The club is clean and posh. Wheelchair accessible. People are nice. Friendly staff. Great tennis court and pool area.

2022-05-21I have been a member since 2017. I’ve been there for MANY changes. Some good, lately some consistently bad.. I am very passionate about this place and its people b/c it is my home away from home.. however.. not all feel the same, be that employees or members.

2022-03-06Nice facilities and the staff are great.Sadly the club apparently has a policy of allowing a select number of it’s members to bring dirty laundry to hang (presumably to dry) in the sauna in the mens locker room. Often it smells and presents a disgusting un hygienic sight!
