Boardwalk path leads to Burma Road the service road then to beach access path. No crowds , some bathe naked. Go topless, no problem because you are no longer in the State Park
182 steps up isnt really all that bad. My 6 year old princess did like it was nothing. Gorgeous view from the top. Awesome background for selfies also.
Nice place to spend the day. Even though when i went they were working on the lighthouse but they have a museum so you can explore.

2021-12-05We looked at each other and said “Wow! This really feels and seems exactly like the Hamptons!”Fire Island is gorgeous! This was our first time visiting together, and we loved the white sand beach, the beautiful ocean, the lighthouse view behind us, and of course, the beautiful dunes. 2020-07-26As posted in my pervious review, this section is perfect if you want a peaceful and secluded area. There were barely any people on the beach. Was able to sit right by the water! Clean! The water was a bit cold but nothing I couldn’t handle. No lifeguards so definitely go in at your own risk!

2020-10-07Spent the afternoon here with my GF and our puppy. It was a nice cool afternoon and very few people were around. Brought our chairs and some lunch and sat and watched the waves. It was an afternoon well spent.

2019-10-27Nice strawl at the beach, visit the lighthouse or go to the city nearby for a fish platter. Wort a day trip and only 1.5 hours away from NY.
