Definitely one of the most thorough mechanics we have been too. Everyone can be “fast and courteous” but that doesn’t mean they are doing a great job. We’ve used 3 mechanics so far since moving here. This one is the best. Plus, never had a place give you a follow up call to make sure their work is holding up. Pretty honorable if you ask me. Thanks Tyler and the Staff at Limitless.
The staff (Tyler & Danielle) went above & beyond to accommodate our needs, dealing w the insurance company & taking the time to walk us through any questions/ concerns we had. Went for trailer hitch install. Very friendly, ordered parts in fast, called to set up install appt. Everything went very quickly and smoothly. Great place to deal with. Definitely will be a return customer! A+++
I dropped my car off to Tyler and his crew for a clutch issue that I couldnt figure out myself. They had it diagnosed the following day by noon and gave me a detailed breakdown of the parts and work required along with a rough estimate for price. All while being backed up. He had the job done 5 days later (including a weekend) and under budget from his estimate. Car is running like new and I couldnt be happier. My advice, dont hesitate to bring your vehicle to Tyler and his crew. I will be returning for more work from him.
This shop is hands down the best I have ever brought a vehicle to have work done. Very professional and polite. The owner and his crew went above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend anyone to have work done here. I’m very happy and will keep coming back!

Tyler and the guys at limitless are very courteous and quick. Pricing is reasonable considering the service and scheduling an appointment is very easy, I had a sick day from work and the guys were able to get me in that day so I didnt need to come back over the weekend. Ill definitely be recommending them in the future.
Ive been taking my car there for over 3 years now, its the only place I trust with my Mercedes s550, When I first when there by recommendation from a friend, I needed an alternator, the dealership in Albany quoted me $1,900. They gave me a honest breakdown of parts and the labor to a total of only 650$. I would never take my car anywhere else. I cant say enough good things about them.
Tyler was very thoughtful and professional. I am new to the area and would highly reccomend this garage. They got me into the garage quickly and prepped me for winter and fixed my brakes. Great business!
Tyler is a great mechanic, i travel from Gloversville to get all the work done on my Saturn. Tyler can find all the parts for my car and get the job done at the best prices. I recommend him to everyone.
Tyler is great! He is honest, very knowledgeable, explains things and will always do his best to fit you into his busy schedule. Dont waste your time with any other mechanics. It is worth the trip, if you are not from the Amsterdam area.

2022-02-14Tyler has always done a great job with my cars throughout the years and the shop is not missing a beat with Jake now working on my vehicle. Quick and painless with the diag and getting the repair done. I’d Highly recommend this to anyone trying to get their repairs done in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable amount of money. Skip the dealer and save yourself some hassle. Easy to communicate with as well, you’re not left wondering what’s going on with your vehicle and why has anyone explained anything yet like at a dealer.

2022-04-01I feel like they are sketchy about warranties simply because Ive heard other stories and now I am getting the runaround. I had a major repair taken care of here one year ago. Fast forward to today and this issue ( power steering) is once again acting up. Receipt from last year states that parts and labor are covered for two years so I called them to make an appointment at which time I was told that unfortunately, they can no longer honor the warranty as the company was now under new management and had a new name. Unfortunately. Really?? This is an expensive repair and the guarantee that I was given is essentially a promise by the business to make good on any repairs done within the time frame of the guarantee. I was never even informed by text( although theyre great about texting to see if your car needs anything done...THAT practice has not changed under new management 🤔), letter or even an email to make me aware of this change. So now I am dangerously driving this car with no power steering simply because I cannot afford to sink another two grand into it for this particular issue. I dont care what kind of an excuse they feed me ; this is a very bad business practice and a poor excuse for customer service . I would never recommend them to anyone. A business that does not take care of their customers is not a business I would want to frequent. Bottom line, I do feel like this is very sketchy and a big part of me does not believe the whole story I was given. I think they just do not want to honor their warranty because it was an expensive repair. Going forward, I will be telling anyone who will listen how I was treated at this establishment and recommend that they stay far away

2021-11-15Best repair place knew exactly how to solve my check engine issue without any hesitation. Brought my truck to other repair shops and the quoted me insane amounts, claiming that I should replace all catalytic converters when limitless got it done in 2 days!

2022-04-06I was passing through Amsterdam on the way to Rochester and my front break caliper failed, they got me right in and got me back on the road.So thankful that they pulled my truck right in and fixed itVery friendly and very helpful

2021-10-25I used my max care warranty. They said I needed new rotars. They replaced them and my car still shakes. After picking up my car my dash still has warning lights that I pointed out. His response was Ill check it next time you come to get new brakes. My steering is still messed up. A week after I picked up my car is when he said I would need new brakes and possibly something for my steering. My warranty would have taken care of these things. Now its too late and Ill have to pay another deductible. After I told them this they went radio silent. This is all happening during covid when ppls pockets are hurting. Very unhappy with service. They did not try and work this out with me. But had the nerve to ask me to write a review on here. So I am.Response to your response:You did not check the service light on my car. You looked at it and said you would check it when I come back to get brakes. What kind of service is that? Says theres a problem with steering yet ypu didnt even take a look at that.

2021-10-04Limitless did repairs to my JAGUAR that everyone else was reluctant to do. They did a wonderful job and I would trust them in every way to be efficient and honest. The work was extensive associated with the cooling system.

2021-05-10I have been going to Limitless Auto for over a year for my Jeep Wrangler. And just recently for a VW. Tyler is highly professional, explains what needs to be done (and what can wait, if I don’t have the finances at the time). He follows up with a text to make sure everything is ok. I have always been able to report that everything seems great!
