Completely horrendous customer service. I called & spoke to the manager before even driving there and hour away to see if they had Buffalo Trace bourbon in stock. Was told yes, but completely failed to mention that you have to be a rewards member to purchase it. Drove all that way & was denied. Literally the only reason I drove there and walked out empty handed. Will not even consider returning. Infuriating.
Way to let your faithful customers know their points would be expiring!!! Saving points up for a $10 credit? You couldn’t send an email out? Staff is usually rude and I won’t be shopping here anymore. You want to run with a point system? Do it correctly. Half the time I’m not even asked for my phone number.* I was saving points to shop from the case and a measly $10 credit isn’t going to help me shop in there!!! * Ridiculous!! Also to clarify my husband and I do drink bourbon and whiskey, apparently that wasn’t clear…..
Great selection tonight of wine and liquor. Staff is really good with helping on wine selection. Liquor... its hit or miss. They are bi est about not knowing though, which is great. They use a point system to get high end booze with socks, but it keeps the regulars coming in.
Wonderful staff! Great selection of products! Always walking around to see if you need help! I had requested some sweet Greek wines that we like and this specific ouzo we like to drink, the manager was so on top of it, he was able to bring them to me the following week! I appreciated this, so haven’t gone anywhere else since!
This is just an awesome liquor store that, lucky for me is not too far away! I love how its a little bit out of the way... Makes it seem like a great find! I havent been going there for long, but so far, they are always well stocked and everyone is friendly even through the COVID crisis. The part that is most impressive to me is that every time I go in the place there are people stocking things and busy. Awesome place!
Amazing selection! Staff were also super kind and helpful. Specifically Sarah (I believe the manager) went way out of her way to help me. I came in looking for a very tough to get bourbon, it wasnt it stock but she pointed out some great options to me and took my information in case she did find it. Thank you so much!
Liquor World is AMAZING! The staff goes out of their way to help and assist you.They have the best customer service and truly exceed all expectations! Their selections of hard to find NY wines is incredible! So glad I found Liquor World! If you are shopping any place else..you are wasting your time! Go to Liquor World!
If I could give zero stars I would! The customer service is horrible. When you walk in, there are no greetings just blank stares. There is no greeting at the register just constant staring. The lady (dark skinned with long black hair) in there would literally be in the middle of a transaction not paying any attention to the customer in front of her because she’s too busy just staring!!! Keep in mind, my fiancé and I come in the regularly (at least 2 times a week)! She’s very rude and pick and choose who she wants to id. Horrible horrible customer service!! One of the worst in Syracuse!!!
I was followed around the store and then made to show my ID while the customer next to me paid and left. Their cashier literally said, “I was told to ask you for your ID, I don’t know why”... I felt that I was racially profiled, will not shop there again.... Maybe they prefer a different type of clientele... Thanks but NO THANKS!!!✌🏿
Would give no stars if I could. Had the worst experience here. I walked in, my 1st time there, was talking to my fiance on the phone who was on military orders in TN and she was getting ready to come home in a few days. I looked around as I was talking to her about what great selection they had there and how good the prices were and what things I wanted to buy for myself and my brother. So im walking around talking to her explaining all this to her and as I start walking towards the door an employee or owner or whomever, a gentleman, stopped me to ask if I needed any help, another employee also earlier and both times I responded no maam thank you im just looking this is my first time here and in this case no sir thank you though. He starts going off about me talking on my phone and telling prices, I said yes sir Im talking to my fiance about what I want to buy, i said shes in TN and since its both our money i want to make sure she is ok with me picking up a few things. He goes on to tell me I cant talk to her, I cant ask her if its ok and that I need to leave cause and something about shipping things to TN. I again tried to explain what im doing that im not shipping anything, shes just away temporarily on military orders and im just asking her if its ok. He says im not allowed and I stated I do not see a sign that advertises I cant talk on my cell phone, he says he doesnt have to. I even showed him I was talking to my fiance and that I too was in the military and I wasnt doing what he thought I was doing and tried to break it down further what I was doing and why. He didnt seem to care. Horrible place and its sad I was just about to spend a few hundred dollars on whiskeys.
A crazy variety of product and volume at nice prices, however several times ive went it seemed like the shelving employees were following me. one particular time with my girlfriend this was happening. she asked the fellow for wine advice. with out looking he grabbed the grabbed literally the closest bottle with 0 hesitation and whole heartedly endorsed it with no particular reasoning.assured him several times were fine . bought the bottle and left. (wine was vile) its fine if you know what your looking for and dont mind your skin crawling,(after response. yes responsible shelf stocking is what im referring to.thats what makes my skin crawl. ive been in the industry im not an idiot, ive been trained the same way. but too heavyhanded is the point. enjoy your feedback.
I was looking at my phone while trying to decide what to get and an employee came to me accusing me of taking pictures???I was not taking pictures and tried to tell him this but I dont think he belived me and was very rude about the whole ordeal and made me uncomfortable for looking at my phone

2022-09-04Stop here often on the way past Syracuse. Rivals any premier outlet, and has a real friendly staff that are willing to help out when searching for something just right.Beyond the numerous choices, they also have an abundance of size options.

2022-01-26Top Selection and Sweet pricing of liquor,Wine & other such inhibitors as far as a Party goers (or cones ourse) Eyes can see with cordial Employees and Fast FAST Service- that is truly an ease to locate what may ale You & if your seen for a second more than expected looking- they assist you and suddenly your back in route to your next destination void of stress but with added sanity n a smile :) Thank you All!

2022-04-18I went there to purchase two bottles of bourbon that were over $70 each. I had cash in my pocket but they wouldnt sell them to me because I wasnt a member of their loyalty club with 500 points in my account. The only way for me to buy the bottles I wanted was to sign up for their loyalty account and spend $500, only then would they sell them to me. Ive purchased a lot of items here in the past but I wont go back.

2022-05-13Was a member of their loyalty program for the longest time and spent thousands of dollars in order to procure the finest bourbon. When I went to see how much points I had it was maybe a fifth of the money I spent which made me feel cheated. I will be switching to a different store

2022-03-18Good prices. 1 thing that I didnt care about is cashier asked if I wanted a bag so, I purchased 2 bottles so I sId sure. She never said there would be a fee for the small bag..I get home looked at receipt and thats when I seen the fee..

2022-03-25Update:I went to the store and wanted to buy a rare whiskey they had in a cabinet. I was asked if I was a club member. I was told that everything in the cabinet was for this club members only and each one has points you need to acquire before you can buy. You earn 1 point for every dollar spent and its free to join. So I did. Wish I knew about this the 1st time I went, I would have enough points by now. Anyway, look forward to getting points to buy those rare whiskeys. By the way, Im not sure its a club I think its called something else.I ordered on line and picked up in the store. The whole process was very easy. I will be shopping here again. Great selection of liquors. Good prices too.

2022-02-27Rude staff. Great selection, but absolutely ridiculous that you have to be a member in order to buy certain products. Tons of great items restricted to those who are part of their club. I’ll continue to support local liquor stores elsewhere.
