Little Beet in other cities:
My wife and I enjoyed a delicious and surprisingly affordable gluten free breakfast here during our brief stay in NYC. I had the turkey bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. My only regret is not asking if they had a little hot sauce to add to it. My wife really enjoyed her dragon berry parfait. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean, including the restroom. We will definitely return on our next NY trip.
Delicious, quick and healthy. The pork or beet falafel are excellent lunch choices, and I love the Brussels sprouts. I come here at least once a week and this location always has quick service, even during busy lunch hours, despite its seemingly long lines. Very easy to order online and pick up if you’re in a hurry.
Everything was so fresh and delicious! I ordered on Grubhub today and everything was so fresh and good , like change my life good 🤤I can’t wait to eat a plate from The Little Beet again !I got the Vegan Slaw, the chickpea kale salad, the quinoa and the pickled onions with a really good sauce called Tumeric Tahini YUMOBSESSED
This place is like a combination of something like Digg Inn and a poke bowl place -which makes it perfect for me! Their choice of protein is great and the portion sizes are also very nice compared to other places. Sometimes they add a little too much ginger but everything else is pretty great so far.
The BEST vegan/vegetarian food evurrrr!! Their flavorful flavors just burst in your mouth so welcomingly! I tried a hint of the shredded pork and it was divine too! No, I am not vegan/vegetarian. I am however, trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my diet and this is the place to get it! So get it!
I LOVE THE LITTLE BEET.Ive tried the location at the Westchester in White Plains and its so amazing. A lot more calm thats for sure. Once I was in the city and in desperate need of something quick and fresh I knew I had to try one of these locations. Its just like walking into a chipotle except you first pay and pre order your food and toppings. They take care of adding everything and you just pick it up once its ready. Just make sure to hear your name get called. You may order ahead of time via the little beet app and just pick it up. Of course, this location is swamped during lunch time so Id definitely suggest to order ahead if youre in a rush.Ingredients are so fresh and delicious. Big portions that will have you filled up but with plenty of nutrients. In season produce available as well. Fresh ingredients, delicious food, quick and ready to go.Vegan and vegetarian friendly. All sides are gluten free. What is there not to love about this place?
Poor hygiene. The employees who prepared my food did not wear gloves when they prepare my order, so thats why I am giving one star. I ate over there twice lately and felt kind of sick the next day. The food tasted strange. With so many other healthy options around I would not recommend this spot.
Fool me once, fool me twice…I still might eat here...I want to first say that the quality of the food is superb, and downright 5-star worthy if a review only took that into account…There are two areas where the little beet falls short, experience and execution. I have gone there in person for takeout as well as ordered from them via seamless so I will review both experiences as best I can.In store:The line is generally out-the-door because it is a very trendy place to eat, but that also means you’re going to wait a while. The entire process feels prolonged and I could not help but feel immensely rushed to give my order. That said, if you like waiting in line for 20 minutes for your lunch, and do not mind much if your platter does not quite come out the way you had planned, then great, go for it! I also could not help but notice that the staff has this subtle sense of entitlement, like they eat better than you and they know it.On seamless:First and foremost, if you order on seamless, please note that they DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS. This was told to me by an employee outright, when I called to ensure they saw the special instructions I left for my office group order. “We can’t see the special instructions box. It’s a long and weird story, but I can write that down for you now if you want…..” Ummm…what about all the other orders? All I heard him say was “Food allergy? No problem! What we don’t know can’t hurt us! We have plenty of customers who are just [allergen] intolerant…”Secondly, if you order for more than three entrees (groups) expect something to be wrong when you receive them. Their line is better suited for one-on-one orders and they can’t seem to handle big orders of multiple entrees. They have forgotten the beet in our beet plate, they have mixed up the sides and proteins on us, and they have given us all the same sauce when some of us ordered different condiments.Verdict:I REALLY like their food, but I really don’t like playing musical orders with them or the chaos.Take a walk for lunch, wait in line, and order food, one person at a time…
I stumbled upon The Little Beet from mealpal and was very excited to try this bowl. I got the Miso Chicken brown rice bowl. It came with slaw, romaine lettuce, seaweed (wish there was more), and a healthy douse of miso-ginger glaze. I thought it was really good and flavorful - a tad on the saltier side, but overall I would get this again. Its definitely on the pricier side for lunch, but if its good I dont mind.
First time trying this place. It was after the lunch rush so service was fast. I had the bowl with rice, beets & lentils, and green beans. For protein I had the tofu. I chose the chimichurri sauce. All the parts of the meal were great. I was most pleased by the tofu. It was flavorful and the texture was soft and juicy.

2022-06-22Most amazing manager and human! I love this place and order from the one near my house in Westchester. While at work, I happened to order from the wrong location on my app and the manager at this store honored my order. A true gem!!!

2019-06-01First time eating here. We where looking for something else and stumbled upon the little beet. The ordering was simple and creative, choose your protein base and other add ons and sauces. It’s vegan and boy was this food delicious. I got brown rice with chicken with beans and spicy sauces. It was delicious and I would go back. Fairly inexpensive as well. Service was great.

2017-12-22Had a wonderful lunch here! The food is fresh, real and delicious! Very reasonably priced for the quality you get! Would recommend this place to anybody looking for a healthy delicious meal that is reasonably priced. Think chipotle style ordering and environment but better food. Easy to grab and go or eat there.

2022-04-10My go to east take out! Love the all the possible combinations here. I recently went and they no longer had the bbq jackfruit. I’m not sure if they don’t carry it anymore if it’s just not at this location. Second choice is the beet falafel which is good but dry. The vegetables are always superb!

2022-02-02This chain has gone downhill in a hurry. The food is overly salty (feel free to confirm just how dangerously salty their options are on their website) to the point where it’s not really a healthy lunch option. Places looking less sanitary as well. Their chicken used to be the go-to but now, in an effort to cut costs, is clearly cheaper dark thigh meat and not white. The food is so darn salty; who would have thought that rice, chicken, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes would be over 2000mg of sodium before sauce! That’s more than you allowed daily intake! No thanks, ‘Have a LITTLE high blood pressure with your BEET’…. Clean up your food!

2021-12-09The food here is always so good! Unfortunately, today I saw some unsanitary business happening. The gentleman who was taking an order over the phone had one plastic glove on. He switch the phone back and forth between the gloved hand and the bare hand. I watched as he bypassed the utensils and scooped up lettuce and a sweet potato with his hand. I wanted the lettuce but after I saw that I declined. Please be more mindful of what your doing. This is how people get sick!

2022-01-27Food is good but so many mistakes! I ordered from Uber eats and they forgot my water. The menu said the greens were sautéed and what arrived was basically a cold kale salad. :/

2021-11-09Very fast meal, you can construct your own salad, I chose beets, broccoli, salmon, and topped it all off with some turmeric tahini and a bit of chimichurri on the salmon. Pretty awesome. And they have a lot of toppings too. Its about $16 for a lunch meal - and it will make you full
