Little Park in other cities:
Dont think I would ever go here again. Came here for office lunch...1. Service was terrible. Maybe cause were the only Asian group of women? Prob thought we werent gonna order much etc (even though our total came to $700+..there was 7 of us). Waited soooo long just to be given water and then our waiter disappeared. Cant be cause they were busy, cause every table was tended to accordingly...yes we had THAT much time to observe. If youre hungry, this is not the only venue for you. 2. Every think comes in small portions!!! My scallops...OMG the saddest plate of seafood Ive seen in my life. (Pic below) dont be fooled, theres only 5 TINY scallops there. First thought that came to my head was where is the rest of my food????? Luckily our boss paid, cause I wouldnt have tipped AT ALL. And if they dare chase me down for it, I would say it out loud as to why they dont deserve it. I have the right to refuse.
If you are looking for a great place to have a private event, I highly recommend Little Park Private dining. The private room has a great vibe, candle fireplace, chairs, couches and a private bar. We had canapes passed around during cocktail hour and then a first course, entree and dessert. The food was amazing and we loved that it was served family style. My guests raved about every course as well as the ambiance. The service was top notch. The whole process from organizing the event to the day it actually occurred was so easy. I highly recommend Olga with whom you set up the event. The manager, Reggie and event day staff (Betty and her crew) were accommodating and professional.
If youre looking for a quiet and elegant night out, this is your place for dinner. Ive come here a few times with friends or out of town visitors, and the food is just delicious. Love their brussel sprouts and beets dish. Their fish is full of flavor. I dont like restaurants that are too loud, so I would recommend this spot for business dinners or a date as the service and presentation is on point.
Very nice place. Upscale with warm atmosphere. Service was great. The big eye tuna appetizer and the chicken main course was cooked very well. Even the Brussel Sprouts were cooked and seasoned very well. Expect to pay above average here but its a great place for a special event or even a romantic dinner
It was our first visit to this restaurant and I have to say that after reading such opposite opinionated reviews we were hesitating to try it. Thanks to the positive reviews we did and discovered such a jem of the culinary art.The food is just amazing. Very interesting, creative, tasty beautifully presented and well portioned. We had: Fluke, Kohlrabi, Beet tartar, Mushroom spaghetti, Wheat berry, Duck and Olive Oil Ice Cream for dessert. We liked all of it a lot! They have wide variety of vegetarian dishes, and though we are not vegetarians we enjoyed everything we ordered. Now to the service. Very efficient, right to the point, nice, professional and friendly. The ambiance was nice and cozy, where you feel relaxed and kind of at home. And the value was very adequate to the experience received.Cant wait to repeat this wonderful experience on our next getaway to NY.
The food here is definitely good. However, it is a bit pricey for what you get. I love that it is attached to the Smyth Hotel, because it is so convenient to go back up to your room after dinner and not have to leave the hotel. The decor and ambiance are relaxing. However, it can be hard to get a table so make sure you have a reservation. Their fish dishes are great and they have nice after dinner drinks/desserts.
I gave a four stars because of the waiter we had was excellent. You can tell he enjoyed food and gave awesome description of the food items and recommendation. The duck I ordered was excellent but the steak that my daughter ordered was not as good. For the price they charged it could had been more tasty and tender.
Beautiful interior and very friendly bartenders. Came here with some classmates after school, the drinks themselves were very tasty and surprisingly strong! My classmate ordered food items all of which were delicious. A bit pricey but that is to be expected given the location. The question is does the quality justify the price? The answer here is a strong YES!
Solid place for any party size. Very reliable breakfast. Very nice setting. Very quiet and civilized. Service is always first class.Downsides: over priced, interior is very sterile feeling, breakfast menu hasn’t changed much over the years either.Overall it’s a reliable place but it’s kinda boring. A true 3.5 star in my book. There is no 3.5 rating so downgraded because I had very high expectations. That said I’ve been there at least 10 times...
The little Park is cut above other restaurants. The place has very cool vibe. The attached hotel bar is cozy and warm with an open minimalist space to sip cocktails by the fire. Mid Century furniture and light wood adds to the ambiance creating a very happening feel. The food is better than most restaurants and you get what you pay for. The service is friendly and attentive. Dave, the manager, know what he is doing and is fantastic with patrons. Overall, put this on your top list.
Attractive, mid-century modern interior. Great cocktails. Veggie dishes are creative, attractive, interesting and very flavorful. We had carrots, broccoli, pasta, fish and a cake dessert. All very good but the veggies definitely were the high point on the menu for us. We had trouble deciding on dishes and will be back to try more.
We had a final dinner among friends here. This is one of Andrew Carmellini’s restaurants in the city, and while I haven’t tried the others, most reviews flag this as probably not his top spot. Nevertheless the place offers a fairly good variety of dishes and wines. As an Italian the choice of something different wasn’t easy, most recipes are fairly close to what I could find in my country, however I ended up choosing the duck and I was pleasantly surprised. The dish was very well presented and perfectly cooked, the side was a surprisingly fitting pairing. The dessert was also nice.Service was nice but felt slightly rushed, most likely because we booked a late in the evening. Prices are also fairly high.
Super quaint. The waiters and hosts are extremely nice and always willing to offer advice on what to order (usually very knowledgeable). The prices are expensive, but the entrees are generally good to share between 2-3 people. With maybe like 2 entrees per person to really get you at least satiated. Plus the bread and butter is really good. Been here twice now and loved it every time. Good drink selection too.
Managed to walk in grab a table for 2 at 9pm on a Tuesday. Fairly strong vegetarian options on the menu which is why we visited. The Morel Ravioli was my dish of the meal as the pasta was made superbly. Was washed down with a glass of there excellent house IPA. Level of service could of been raised a bit but overall i enjoyed our sitting.
This place was excellent! We are visitors from out of town and tried finding some of the best local restaurants in NYC - this is one of them. Each plate was delicious and unique. We would go back in a heartbeat. The brussel sprouts were delicious, flat iron steak was excellent, and we tried two desserts that were both excellent. A must-go if you can!
Amazing food and friendly service. The BBQ watermelon totally challenged my conceptions and tastebuds. The food is very good, however portions are small. We all ordered desert just to feel full. Not the experience you want with a price point so high so only rating 4 stars for that.
My friend made reservations and surprised me with this suggestion because its restaurant week. The menu allowed for a beginner, a continue for $26 and a added a dessert for $10. I had the wonder green salad with vinaigrette which was delish. The continues as roast chicken breast with aioli and mini roasted potatoes. The apple crumb with cinnamon ice cream was so decadent, the best thing I had while there lol. The ambiance was high brow and very clean. The staff was diverse and friendly. My friend had the Brussels sprout salad and she loved it. She wasnt crazy about the trout with seared pears. She said the flavor pairing didnt compliment each other.the latte was delicious and my cocktail that was at a discounted price due to restaurant week was called a tin roof. I loved it because it had a lot of fresh ginger which is my fav. The bathrooms a down a long flight of poorly lit stairs and dim lighting like in the basement. It was spooky and the stalls are unisex that made me uncomfortable because anyone could walk in. What if you forget to lock your stall god forbid. As I went back up the steps the banister was wiggly and thats why I took a star away.
Highlights were chicken and brussel sprouts. Chicken was cooked and seared correctly. Brussels were flavored nicely but on the sweet side. Rubber Halibut. How? Rethink how youre cooking this. Overall bland flavor without anything standing out in memory or share-worthy. Work to be done on the food beyond the great ambiance and service (5/5).
Food was ok, oysters had an interesting mignonette, the beet salad was good, had a very interesting sauce, escarole was not good. The duck was pretty good, fat was seared nicely but the duck breast itself was a bit tough even though cooked correctly, the sausage that came with it was ok nothing memorable. We had to send the halibut back, had a taste of chlorine, to the restaurants credit they took it back without issue and put a rush order on the replacement dish which came out much faster than anything else we ordered so my wife wasnt waiting without food for long as the rest of the table ate. The replacement dish was chicken which was very good, all the flavors went well together with the accompanying ingredients. The drinks were very good, and wine pours were generous. We didnt feel rushed at all which seems rare in NYC restaurants though given everyone was pretty hungry was a bit of a double edged sword in how long it took to get our meals, but definitely not a knock on the restaurant as we were able to enjoy hanging out with our friends. I probably wouldve been more lenient with the rating had the food not been as pricy as it was, but for the price there are much better restaurants.
Great spot! So I walk in after coming from wall street from fighting a parking ticket. So I was famished. Before hitting the train i stop by here and i tell u, the decor is great and relaxing. Takes you away from the stresses of the city. Sat at the bar, i know it is more of a dead time of the day (230-330). I understand how some staff could be inattentive and bored, not this staff, they were full of energy and very welcoming. The bartenders old fashion WAS AN ORIGINAL OLD FASHION, Rye, sugar bitters, orange zest. It was relief after being at countless bars that muddle cherries and whole oranges. 10 stars for the bar! FOOD ordered the burger: amazing!!! Perfectly cooked!!!!! Delicious and juicy, sweet potato crisps were only the perfect complement not over and under valuing the burger. Tuna, amazing! I would recommend this spot for a great stop in for lunch or just a relaxing spot to have a drink, it is a little on the pricey side but understandable for the part of town and honestly in my opinion, worth it!I dont give 5 stars easily, but this place went beyond my expectations!
All the dishes are as tasty as they are colorful. artful, fresh, and creative. very enjoyable meal. extensive wine list with ridiculous prices. when will wine prices be treated as fairly as food prices? none the less, our party of 4 enjoyed dinner with 2 $50 bottles of Nebbiolo. staff was friendly, a bit slow and surprisingly clumsy (2 glasses dropped and shattered, lots of utensils falling during clearing and set up).
This place is a little pricey, but he food was beautifully plated, well executed, and very well seasoned. Portions are average size, which is what youd expect for refined preparation. The decor is nice, but expect to see a lot of people in suits during weekday lunch. For desert, try the cinnamon toast ice cream.
I came here recently with a large party and had a family-style pre-fixe menu. Prior to the dinner, the organizer reached out to the restaurant and shared some dietary restrictions amongst the group. We were told that they absolutely could accommodate for the needs he listed (2 keto and 1 vegetarian). Although there was one or two dishes that actually fit our needs, I was under the impression that the meal would be augmented, so it was disappointing and left me hungry. Of the two dishes I could eat, one was TERRIBLE. It was some bowl of white fish that was the texture of rubber. If I dropped it, it would’ve bounced right back. Everything else was flavorless, aside from the butter that came with the bread. Although the atmosphere was lovely, I would not return for the food.
Lovely. We hadnt been back to eat here in at least a couple of years. The food was even better than the first time. Loved the tuna with the pickled mushrooms and chilies. The black lumarche pasta with shrimp and bottarga was stunning. I will dream about it. The duck breast was beautifully cooked. I did think the cheese platter was overpriced, but selections were delicious.
I stumbled upon this place while walking home. I was impressed by its decor and ambiance. Its got a classy feel to it. They block most of the sunlight, which you may or may not like but I personally liked it. The tomato tagliatelle I got was excellent and the service was pretty good.
Incredible brunch and dinner, have yet to do lunch but impeccable all around. The dishes are seasonal and constantly change. Just trust them, they know what theyre doing. It may be on the pricier side but everything works. A delicious blend of sea, ground and air. The duck was tremendous. Have yet to have a bad experience here.
Farm-to-table dining in a chic atmosphere. We had excellent chicken, trout, and my favorite, the roasted beet (yes, beet) sandwich (with a lovely green salad in lemon dressing - so fresh-tasting). This area lacks really excellent lunch choices, but this is one of my preferred spots for business lunches or catching up with a friend.
Overall: Rich table provides that SF solid staple dining. Food all around is delicious. Definitely make your reservation ahead of time. Theres a nice variety of Vegetarian dishes giving this place bonus points. Dined here on a busy Wednesday night.Food: 5 stars.-Signature Procini donuts - a must. I dont like mushrooms and these are still exquisite.-Crab Tagliatelle - loved. Delicious sauce-Ribeye - Excellent cut served perfect medium rare.Drinks 4 stars:Ordered the Gnome grown. Delicious and not too sweet. *Bonus* over the holiday season they are serving the drink via Gnomes. So cuteSpace/value 4 stars:Like most SF places the restaurant is smaller with market higher prices.Rich Table is definitely worth the wait.
A girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place last night......the best choice we made in restaurants in a very long time. The small plates were so creative, very flavorful, and quite beautiful. The staff from the manager to the waiters and the servers were very helpful and very knowledgeable of all of the dishes, along with the wine pairings. We had the seasonal salad with included avocado with parmesan and peppercorn, the crab vermicelli suck had a kick to it, the seared scallops, & the Peach duck which was so succulent I cant believe the flavors coming out of that dish. Paired with a rosé cider from the Hamptons. For dessert we choose the Lemon Strawberry dish, paired with a delicate sweet dessert wine from the south of France. It really was amazing! And the decor along with the variety of such great music just made our night! I will be returning to this restaurant very soon. 👌👏
If you are in the market for a bland, expensive meal, you are in the right place. We found Little Branch extremely underwhelming for the price. The menu is basically a boring rehash of all your mom’s greatest hits, although she arguably makes it better - regardless of her culinary ability. Thus, this is a pass. One can find a more interesting meal literally any place else in TriBeCa.
Had a lovely dinner here w. My girlfriends. One of them is a server here and we got the best treatment. One lil mishap of finding a hair in my plate of steak but the chef made it up for us w. Extra appetizers and entree and dessert. The servers are friendly and gracious. The wine sommelier that night introduced us tot he best wine. All in all fun lil spot and would come back.
Brunch food was fine. Good portions. Service was bad. First brought me a mint tea and poured it right the way in the cup. I poured it back in the small teapot to get it brewed for next 5min. Thank you for help, but no thank you. One of the servers brought wrong order and didnt believe that this was not what one of us ordered. My friend specifiacly said that she has gluten alergies and the server still offered bread for the table. In the water we saw black hair. Small things add up. Ill not probaly come back to this place.
What a lovely little bar. I want to come back for brunch some time. I went here on a Friday night on a date and tried a few drinks. Our bartender was really patient, I wanted to try something other than what I usually get so I tried mezcal and swak, a Hungarian drink. It was awful. Although, it might have cured my cold at the time. Its a nice place to enjoy a drink on any night. Ill definitely come back. Its one of the nicer bars Ive been to in NYC, yet it has a casual vibe.
Went there because the head chef used to be head chef of A Voce. Had some great dishes there. The food at Little Park was pretty good but not as good as A Voce. I also found it a little surprising that the family style dishes weren’t served to us, and didn’t have serving spoons.
How did this place get such good reviews? I dont normally post reviews of anything, ever but after seeing how positively this place was reviewed I felt like I had to step in. The food was so overpriced and blah (worst bloody mary ever) that I felt extremely guilty dragging my bf there. I was so looking forward to it (I live in New York and so brunch is serious fare) and was very disappointed by the food and the bill. Perhaps their dinner is better? Save your money and go somewhere else! Just a heads up
So good it hurts.Beetroot risotto, beetroot tartare, crispy brussel sprouts, and celery root pastrami are MUSTS - but what isnt at this place? Also tried the red snapper, scallops, butternut squash (so pretty), heirloom carrots, dry-aged duck, and hangar steak - we ended the meal speechless.Little did we know that it wasnt over! Little Parks amazing pastry sous-chef, Jen Luk, treated us to all six of her INCREDIBLE desserts. The frozen lemon fluff honey?? So much light, creamy, citrus-y goodness. The flavor of the white wine sorbet was so unique and memorable. And who could ever help but to love her grapefruit and tangerine sorbet...I just cant keep going. But I will because its worth it. The ambiance of Little Park is lovely - great for an elegant date (classy, not pretentious) or a dressy occasion with friends. This is definitely a hot spot to watch. I moved from NYC 5 months ago but will absolutely come back next time I visit. Thanks to Jen, the chef, and the staff for an amazing dining experience!!

2020-02-01Elegant atmosphere, fantastic service, and wonderful food.I came here with my wife during restaurant week and we had a great time. Our server was professional, and the food was sophisticated. The restaurant week portions are a bit smaller than you’d like, but we were both full at the end regardless.I had the calamari ravioli for my entree, which I loved. My wife had the chicken which was cooked perfectly and came with a green sauce that complemented it very well. We both had the sticky toffee pudding to finish and it was magnificent. As a note for those making a reservation, the “restaurant” is on the ground floor and is very nice. The “dining room” is a large event style space in the lower level. I would suggest reserving for the restaurant unless you have a giant group.Highly recommend this spot, though it’s a little pricey.

2018-01-22We came here for dinner on a Friday night and enjoyed the creative menu. It appears to change seasonally. The space is cozy and beautiful with many hanging plants, which feels like you are in an oasis. Great service, where they are attentive, but give you the time and space to enjoy the food and ambiance. I liked the appetizers more than than the entree. For dessert, we shared the donut with slushy Irish coffee. It was tasty, but I like my donut fresh and hot, whereas this one came out lukewarm. We came in a little early and got the place to ourselves for a bit. By the time we are leaving, the place is packed and full of people, which is great for people watching.

2019-04-22Little Park is an absolute gem. From the owner of The Dutch and Locanda Verde comes a consistent, romantic Tribeca option. Appetizers and entrees taste as great as they look. The wine selection is spot on and the service is second to none. This restaurant is top of the list for special occasions and business dining. Try the morel dish while the spring menu is still around!

2019-04-18Went there for business lunch they all loved it. Main course was great place is nice for lunch. It is sophisticated enough for business lunch without being too much. Service was good but not a 5* dessert looks amazing check the pavlova but taste wasn’t there. If I didn’t try a dessert I might have give a 5* sorry but there is room for improvement there. Will be back for lunch but will skip dessert

2018-04-24Visited for lunch after following Little Park on Instagram for a few months. Everything ordered came just as pictures but with added benefit of actually being able to taste it. A bit on a pricey side for a lunch date but well worth it once in a while.
