I had the pleasure of working with Valerie at NY living. She is someone who goes above and beyond at her job. She helped me find the best place for my interests. She was honest about the apartments we toured and gave me useful tips and advice that I wouldnt have otherwise found out about. She saved me a lot of time and stress and turned the notorious apartment hunting in nyc into a simple and quick task. I spoke to Jessica Vega on the phone and then she asked the me details of what type of apartment I was looking , what areas I was interested and budget. Immediately we setup an appointment for the following day. It was Saturday that I met her and she showed me almost 7 apartments and finally I liked the last one. On the last one we almost waited for 30 min to get the keys from Super and Jessica tried constantly to get hold of her. I must say she is determined, patient, knowledgeable, smart, professional and responsive. I definitely recommend Jessica to anyone if youre looking for a place to rent.
While searching for my new NYC apartment, I worked with Anderson and Melanie. They were extremely engaged, helpful, and very responsive. Valerie and Jessica were fantastic to work with. I contacted them to look at one apartment and they set up a whole day of apartments to see in our desired neighborhoods and price range. Jessica showed us ten apartments in one afternoon and we found exactly what we were looking for! I truly expected to be apartment hunting for weeks, but instead we found the right place on our very first day of looking. Valerie was great at making the deal go through with the landlord, including helping us clear all the paperwork hurdles. They were very responsive to our calls and texts, professional and very pleasant.

I had a general idea of the area and the price range I was looking for when started looking for apartments. Valerie was able to use that and on the first day of apartment tours she was able to find us an apartment. I worked with Melanie to sign a lease at my apartment in the LES. Melanie was amazing, and one of the only people I could rely on throughout the process. She was always very fast to respond via text or phone call or email, was always very helpful and tried to do her best to accommodate my many requests, and even handled issues outside of her role as broker to make sure I was well taken care of. Shes very polite and well mannered, while still being down to earth and easy to talk to. Cant say enough about her!

Me and my girlfriend we’re having a hard time apartment hunting. We worked with a few different real estate companies and FINALLY we found Matt! He was very informative. Helped us find the perfect place. Was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend having Matt help out with any real estate needs.
Avoid the property management division – Livingston Management – at all costs. Unresponsive and unprofessional – we had a defective toilet for an entire year, and more than five maintenance requests to fix it were ignored. We also had leaks in both bathrooms, the living room, and the kitchen on more than six occasions, which management never addressed or did anything to fix.
I was looking for an apartment in the Bronx. I never worked with agents before because I thought I can find the right apartment by myself. This was the first time I worked with an agent. I met Roland during the open house and he was really helpful. He explained all the steps needed to rent the apartment and the process went really well. I would recommend Roland and Living NY. I will keep working with him.

We were looking for an apartment in South Harlem and were interested in a building where Living NY had an exclusive agreement to act as the leasing agent. That building didnt have an anything available that fit our needs at the time but the agent, Tanner Beck, promised to follow-up as soon as he heard of anything coming available. And thats exactly what he did. He followed-up several times as an apt that fit our needs was going to be available. We ended up choosing another apartment but I wanted to write this review because I felt that this agent was great.
We worked with Evan and Fanny and had a great experience! We fell in love with the first apartment we saw and Evan ensured that we got to submit our application in a timely fashion. Fanny was incredibly kind and helpful! She answered all of our questions and made herself available at anytime to work with our schedules. Highly recommend!

Helping with documentation.Never happened he was late to any appointment we fixed, very patient in answering all our questions.It would have been great if we could have got the discount which was advertised earlier. To make it plain...I walked through the door to view an apartment and instead of a hello...I was greeted with we do not accept co-signers. I am a Black female and I make over six figures annually however, it was my first apartment. Omar Bran and Oliver Peterson would not have known that because, we never got that far into conversation or paperwork. I was not given a proper viewing of the apartment and these men would not even speak to me. I was not taken seriously from the moment that I walked through the door. Neither of these gentlemen answered my emails or phone calls. It was extremely disheartening. Thankfully, I am living well in my beautiful new apartment that had nothing to do with this company.
Cannot recommend Kenneth enough! I moved from Upstate NY to NYC and had done research, but still had a million questions and Kenneth was extremely quick to answer them all and I felt like he was our advocate. He did a lot of hand holding and he did it happily - I never felt like a burden. It was a super pleasant experience and he minimized our stress. 12/10 would recommend!
My boyfriend and I are moving in together. Julia went above and beyond to help us find the right apartment - making sure that our requirements are heard and can still get something within our budget. She followed up consistently and showed great professionalism and courtesy. And we end up with the perfect place! Can’t be more excited to move in!😃
It was a fortune to meet Cristina, she explained that her job is more service than sales. She has thorough knowledge of home construction and the local market. When we viewed an apartment Cristina would give comments on the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. She also led me through multiple rounds of negotiation to get to a price i was comfortable with. In the end I found the place that was perfect for me.
It has been a pleasure working with Evan Osur and Fanny Siow from the agency. These two are some of the nicest people I have come across in the city. They were very helpful, patient and considerate. They helped me find a wonderful apartment that catered to my needs perfectly. I don’t usually rent with brokers, but Kunal was by far the best broker I met. He was really helpful and understanding, Lot of patience with someone that doesn’t know the nyc rentals market. He not only helped me finding an amazing apartment for an incredible price but also helped me finding a moving company, insurance and everything I needed without expecting anything in return. He even helped me finding an accountant since I am new in nyc!! When my lease started I was on holidays and he picked up the keys on my behalf and gave it to me when I return, full service!! Kunal is an amazing person, honest and hard worker. You can tell he loves what he does and he is always trying to help others! I definitely advice to rent with him and I will rent again if I have to move houses!! Thanks Kunal for being the best broker ever!!
***UPDATE***i worked with Evan for a second time, this time as my buying agent when I bought my co-op in NYC and the service was bar none. As a Type-A person, being able to trust someone else to do a good job was challenging at first, but Evan was on top of it, answered all my questions, was extremely communicative and always on. Most importantly, he got me an amazing deal and helped me secure my dream home, which was highly pursued by the market place. I would not be happier and would definitely use Evan again in the future to buy, sell, or rent.----------------------------------------------I recently relocated from Atlanta to NYC and had some pretty specific requirements for the type of apartment I was looking for and the neighborhood I wanted to be in. I was put in touch with Evan Osur and he was excellent to work with! I knew absolutely nothing about NYC Real Estate and how to navigate the market and management companies, but he talked me through everything and made sure I was kept in the loop every step of the way. I honestly could not have found an apartment without his help nor would I have gotten as good of a deal as I did. I highly recommend working with him!

Evan was very helpful in helping my roommate and I find our apartment. After discussing what we wanted on the phone, Evan took us around to multiple apartments over the course of a day, and then Evan ensured that we had everything prepared to apply once we picked our apartment.
Horrible service, i was working with one of their realtors and she was no help what so ever !! she never responded to emails nor text, i felt like i was stalking her, it took me almost 2 weeks to get a answer about an apartment and she didnt even have the decency to let me know if we were approved or not, after finally reaching her she said we were not approved which is weird because SHE NEVER DID A CREDIT CHECK NOR RECIEVED THE MONEY ORDERS in which SHE requested. maybe because we were a young black couple with kids they didnt even seem to acknowledge our concerns. please by pass working with them if your not what they are looking for. now my information is probably just floating in the air somewhere >:0

We were referred to Devin Someck by a friend after having a hard time selling our apartment in Long Island City with other brokers. Well, Devin got the deal DONE!He was quick, organized, and super responsive. He has a real good understanding of the market and very patiently guided us with how we wanted to price the apartment. He marketed our unit through different avenues and made sure our listing was fresh and current. Him and his team were also always considerate about showings, even last minute requests.He educated us through the entire closing process and was very diligent with the paperwork. He also was amazing at handling the buyers last minute requests, etc at the closing. Devin was on our side and looked out for our best interest. Evan Osur was supposed to show me two places. We confirmed the time and location the night before. I emailed him when I got to the first location. He never showed up and I never heard a thing from him. No apology email, no note about running late. We waited outside the building in the rain for ~20 minutes. Clearly disrespectful and not somebody Id EVER recommend or work with again.

Worked with Jack Malykin.First, we attended an open house which we were lead to believe was just a meeting with him.Second, we let him know we were interested in the apartment right after viewing. He sent us the application and said he was not accepting it until we got him everything from us. Ok, understood. So we asked when he was next available to meet in person and he said Wednesday ( 2 days later)We followed up on Tuesday to confirm when we were meeting and he said he had received another application that Tuesday. After he told us he was not available until the Wednesday??VERY happy we did not give this man any money, but total scumbag of a broker. Not sure how these guys can feel good bout themselves treating people this way.
I am writing this review with regards to an unprofessional attitude of an agent. I had asked him if the listing I was interested in was available and he said yes it was. He encouraged me to put in my application with my new offer and had mentioned that that if the owner may accept my offer, theyll see my credit score and my strong financials. After he received my application, I asked him to whom I should write the certified check to and where I should send it. It took him five days to respond with the information I needed with an information that the particular listing had another application. He asked to give him few days to see what the landlord wanted to do. He never got back to me until I found out from Street Easy that the apartment was already in contract. I confronted him about this and he became defensive with his text messages blaming me for not giving a deposit and for not offering the full ask.I am not mad because I lost the apartment to another client, but I am really upset because this agent wasted my time by being unresponsive and in the end blamed the client for following what he had exactly instructed. New York real estate market may be tough, but it should not be an excuse for an agent to be unprofessional and not owning a responsibility.
Uninformed Real Estate Agent, misinformation. Between Real Estate Company and Building Management, no one knew anything.Real Estate Agent ZACH (LAST NAME OMITTED) stated everything would be ready for move-in date. Would NEVER do business with this man again.Original Post:I reached out to Devin, a principal broker for this company, about a listed 3 bedroom apartment. Not only did he not show up to the meeting, saying I could tell the doorman to let me in, he didnt give me the correct apartment number and the apartment was a 1 BEDROOM! And apparently we were the 3rd group that night to turn up to the building (according to the Doorman), who had not been able to get in touch with him when they too were confused about the apartment only having 1 bedroom.He lied about the listing, wasted my time, was un-responsive when I reached back out, and honestly just doesnt appear to know what hes doing. Apparently he can sell million dollar apartments, but lets be real... those things sell themselves. I wouldnt do business with someone who cant even figure out what number of rooms an apartment has. Go for a better known brokerage if you want someone who will actually work with you.

As anyone in NYC knows, buying an apartment can be a very hard and over whelming process -especially for first time buyers like us. The process for buying an apartment for us was just that. Thankfully we had Evan Osur and the team at Living NY to help us through this process and ultimately make us very happy that we bought an apartment. We hit a lot of obstacles on the way and the deal at one point was pretty much dead, but Evan and his team at Living NY refused to let it fall apart and ultimately got us to a closing and completed the deal. Inquired about a listing, showed up to see the unit and it was not the unit pictured. There were 2 photos of exposed brick in the bedroom for unit 1b, however none of the units shown had brick. When I asked if another unit had the brick, I was told yes. When we went into the units none of them matched the pictures in the listing. I was told Andrea must have mixed up the pictures for another listing. 100% bait and switch, what a huge waste of my time.

2022-05-06Staci Reed is really nice and extremely helpful. She moves very quickly and I can tell she don’t play when it comes to her job, she got the job done!! Two days after meeting with her for the first time, she sent me out on 2 viewings and now I’m waiting for my move in date to my 3 bedroom apartment. I am very appreciative of Staci because of it wasn’t for her I would’ve never found the apartment I been needing so badly. Thank you Staci Reed. You are the absolute best to ever do it!!! We need more people like you in this field of work!

2021-03-18Such a wonderful experience working with Living New York. From the start of my apartment search they were communicative, professional, and helpful. Damien was the broker who showed me the apartments. I was running late to the appointment and he was so patient and understanding and waited for me. He was easy to talk to, kind and knowledgeable. Once I applied for a place, I started working with Melanie who is awesome. She walked me through every step of the application process and helped to answer all of my questions. Thanks to Living New York, Im now living in my dream neighborhood in a really great apartment!

2021-11-30My daughter is a student and renting an apartment from Living New York. On Thanksgiving Day, from all the days, in the middle of the night, a pipe leading from the above apartment broke and a huge water leak start pouring from her ceiling. When the neighbors ran their appliance. The neighbors were not responding to her knocking nor her notes, she knew that she is on her own, in the place where she cannot use her floated bathroom, with murky water dripping everywhere and nothing will be done until Monday. All the hotels were booked, because of holidays and all of her friends were gone, with their families out of state. Not having anyone she could reach out for help in the city, our Thanksgiving holidays started to turn out far from happy.We didnt think that anyone would get back to us and to our surprise, after reaching out to Staci, Jon and Devin, not only we were contacted within hours, but Staci opened her own home to my daughter, treated her with a warm meal and let her to spend the night, after making sure that she is okay, watching a movie and having a popcorn!That is absolutely unheard of! The kindness, human touch and tremendous care from Staci, Jon and Devin is priceless to me as mom, being in California.Their companys values incredible, customers come first, but they exceeded the expectations way beyond the norm, by treating my daughter like a family, no question asked.I am still in Awe, cannot believe that someone would go out of their way to accommodate a complete stranger.Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, to exceptional professionals and incredible caring people at New York Living!You saved our holidays and made one family extremely thankful for your kindness and for going beyond anyones expectations.With gratitude,Klara Coleman

I was surprised that the place was accurately represented by the pictures but it was!
