Lots of selections, great atmosphere, and owner is extremely friendly. Poor selection of DVDs and cds but that is because of streaming. They do have a burner bar to create cds and DVDs

I have been coming to this store since my girls were very small, they are now 31 and 33. They still talk about the presence in this store. As adults they still visit this store.It is truly an oasis. You feel different when here. It is such a quiet piece of heaven. Richard, the owner has always called me by name and treated me like family when there. He has maintained this store and atmosphere, never deviating from kindness and love. I have never experienced this level of service anywhere else. Some have come close but none have ever met this quality. I pray many blessings to this family for all that they give.

The staff wasnt friendly. The store had a decent selection. There were several items on sale. Unfortunately, the atmosphere here was less than ideal. In comparison, whenever Ive gone to LifeWay store to shop I was always greeted with a smile. I felt welcomed and wanted there, but I did not feel that way here. Attentive service and a positive attitude go a long way. This is especially true in the Christian retail community. Hopefully my subsequent visits will be more enjoyable.

This store is literally therapeutic. If you are having a stressful day and need a store where you can browse and have a peaceful experience, come here. I have been buying gifts for others or personal gifts for myself at this store for years. It is so affordable, as well as a very warm and welcoming place.

This store is amazing. They sell Christian books, Bibles, greeting cards, CDs &DVDs, jewelry, home decorations & gift ideas & so much more. They have a great childrens section. Everything is God focused & honoring! Staff very friendly & helpful, too.

When you walk through the doors to this store, you cant help but feel a sense of peace and comfort. I LOVE being able to actually have a book in my hands before purchasing it so I can peruse it to make sure it suits my needs. One of the last great bookstores in this area. There is so much to look at everywhere you turn. The store is beautifully designed and carries the most inspirational books, bible accessories, assortment of versions of the Bible that you can look through at their bible display area, music, movies, specialty gifts, beautiful artwork, mugs, jewelry, and the list goes on and on. Perfect place to find gifts for every occasion. I used to travel to their older store on the few occasions I could travel the distance because of the variety of merchandise, but this location is so much more centrally located that I am able to get there every single time I need a gift or just to purchase a book, music, or decoration for my home to help get me spiritually feed...and keep me that way! This store is such a blessing to hundreds of people. Definitely worth a visit....the staff is incredibly kind, helpful, genuine and definitely has a heart for God. Youll find yourself going back over and over again.

I am so sad I am giving this place 3 stars. But i feel like its for a good reason!So they have so many options, books, bibles, clothes, jewelry, stuff for kids etc.The gentleman at the counter is so sweet and willing to help in anyway possible butIt is absolutely ridiculously priced.Like unreasonable . It may not even be thier fault. But some of their cheapy cash register toys up front were even like $2-$3

Purchased 2 t-shirts, each different sizes, ...same sale price. One was a 2x and one an etra large. The smaller one was a little snug. Took it back, receipt in hand asking for even exchange. Proprietor/cashier seemed fine with even exchange but wanted my credit card again. I had left it in car...so I wouldnt be tempted to buy more.I had spent nearly 50.00, previously. He was waiting on others...so, I patiently waited, picking up something more to buy. . When he got to me, he said it was $4 something more...boasting that all the big sizes are priced higher. He continued to tell me 2xs were always priced higher.I told him to check my receipt and sure enough my sale costs, previously, were the same for xlarge and 2x.Instead of honoring my receipt, he said, I got lucky and got a free gift if thats all I paid. Because, as he repeated several times, unnecessarily, Xs are always more. He really seemed smug about it it and I was clearly embarrassed and upset.I tried to explain that I bought them believing the price tag and had a receipt to show it.His wife and he continued to discuss out loud how xs are more and even though I got away with paying less, and he barked, gloriously, it was her fault (his wifes) for mis-marking them, and my good fortune to be getting a gift... if thats all I paid, a free gift.My receipt showed I paid for all purchases and was not asking or nor tricking anyone.I was embarrassed and asked if they would simply finalize sale and not keep talking about how Xs are more expensive. I said I would not feel good about the t-shirt...and would pray about it.He said, You told me not to talk and you are still getting to talk and not letting me defend myself. (He certainly had plenty of time to defend his self and throw his wife under the bus)Its not about the money, to me. I was hurt, embarrassed and vulnerable...since I was more than friendly both days...talking about recent, painful loss of my Mom. I had, thoughtfully, listened to her (his wife) talk about her sadness in the loss of her father.I felt so good the day before...knowing a kindred spirit. I could cry...just remembering that exchange.He never shared much and directed his wife, primarily, to assist me the day before.Im sure their retail price thing mightve been more expensive for heavy customers.Maybe I did get lucky paying less.But I ask, if this is a CHRISTIAN store, why would this experience ever happen?Would it be the same if I were somebody important enough to make them feel guilty for changing what was clearly described on my receipt?I had picked up a possible purchase...some faith cards. I put them back. Im sure before this sad event, I would have come back. I would have bought more. A happy customer if worth 10.Im sure Im already forgotten. But it will take a lot of prayers to remove the sting of being fat shamed at THE PARABLES.

I enjoy going to Living Word Parable Christian Store. They have gifts, books, cards, and of course Bibles. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great place to shop for all your Christian needs.
