Excellet product, excellent prices, but HORRIBLE service. The staff is friendly, but the disorganization is unlike anything Ive ever seen. Weve been here multiple times for multiple projects, and always wait an inordinate amount of time. There is never a day theyre not understaffed. This most recent pickup was an utter nightmare. We waited more than 30 minutes to load flooring we had scheduled a pickup for well in advance. There were logistical loading issues that we shouldnt have had given that we brought the largest pickup available on the market. I personally had to get out and instruct the forklift driver how and where to load my flooring and countertop, and we evetually just gave up and had to drive an hour back for a second trip to pick up the countertop. I would say NEVER AGAIN but webuy so much flooring we feel we are stuck with this mess as the prices are good.
Very poor customer service. Needed flooring for rental space quickly and could not help me out. Would not recommend if you are looking for efficient service. Went discount flooring supermart and got everything I needed quickly without being ignored.
We purchase Bellawood flooring from the Albany store which my husband and brother-in-law installed. The salesman handled things efficiently and made sure we knew what we needed for the installation. The product came when scheduled, and the wood is beautiful. We purchased 24 boxes and only found 1 or 2 single boards that were damaged. both ended up being used in places where a board needed to be cut. We are thrilled with the service and the result.
Customer service is great at the point of sale. After that....its a nightmare! Orders not shipped, contractors uncaring, order tracking nonexistent, billing completely disorganized, milling of flooring shoddy at best. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere!
Worst service!!! Guy helping us k ew nothing about the products. Couldnt bother taking the time to help us find laminate with pad attached when we asked him he said its on the wall and they are mixed you have to look. Never will I shop here again. Makes me sorry I spent the money I did before on the flooring I bought a few years ago!!!

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Heidi is absolutely correct - Point of sale is fine, but once they have your money, forget about it.
We had a great experience today. Service was excellent. Dominick was very professional friendly and knowedgable. They had what we needed at low cost.
They do not accept return. When I aksed return, they treated me as if Im soliciting. Will never go there no matter how cheap product they are selling.

Email was sent to this mgr, which he acknowledged, that states my appt was changed to 0900 today from 0900 weds on my delivery here from the Sandston, va. dc. Its 1600 and he refuses to start unloading me.

2021-12-20Very helpful staff at the Albany store. I ordered 250 sq ft of solid Acacia flooring. There were no defects in the entire shipment. Amazing. Nice product.

2020-01-20Recently, we bought flooring from this location. Come to find out, we actually over estimated and didn’t realize it until the end of the construction we were doing. This is where the 5 stars comes in. I called the store and the manager, Dominic, was so very helpful. Even though I was past the 90 day warranty , he was willing to take the 8 boxes back! I will definitely be using Lumber Liquidators again for future projects. Thanks again for your help Dominic!

2018-07-10I worked with Lumber Liq. during a small commercial office build-out. The point of sale was handled really well - they worked with us to get the pricing where we needed; they were very responsive; when they realized they made a mistake on the proposal they took the hit to keep the price at negotiated point; delivery was on time, though they told the delivery guy to leave the materials on the street so that we would have to carry everything upstairs, that was strange but I wasnt there at the time, so I might have made some phone calls to get that mistake resolved differently. We ran into some issues when I need to schedule the install; They couldnt schedule the install before delivery actually took place, but they said that I would be able to schedule something pretty quickly... by the time the delivery happened, the installer was booked out three weeks which didnt work with out the schedule for the rest of our build-out. I managed to schedule with another installer, and LL refunded the install portion, so I was happy with that resolution. Im not saying they are perfect, but they definitely worked with us to resolve issues at they came up.

2018-09-26Update!!I changed my review because the young man did come apologize, which I appreciate.Love the floor! I came to get 1 more box of flooring to complete our project that I already had paid thousands of dollars for. Young sales person made it seem like I came at a bad time when asked if we ordered ahead of time. Was rude and condescending. Told it would take 15 minutes. Still standing here 25 minutes later while they put their truck order away. Went to warehouse door was told to please leave from there(only stood in doorway) made a comment about waiting for 1 box. Same salesman came out raiding his voice they are doing their best. I advised them that I again was only waiting for one box and the last I knew customer service should come first over putting truck away. He didn’t get it. I too am a business owner but I would never speak rudely I would apologize for inconvenience. I asked if they had a garbage bag so I could cover end of box because rain was moving in and he advised he didn’t know. Will never go back !

2021-04-03Despite calling over an hour ahead to pick up my order I was forced to wait half an hour in the rain while the employees searched through pallets for my tile order. Only to come up a box short. They wouldnt ship it to me directly so I had to make the hour long drive back to the store to pick up one box of tile. Huge waste of my time!
