Life can be difficult especially now. But add to this my apartment key getting stuck in my front door. Exasperated and defeated I call the Locksmith For NYC as they came highly recommended to me. Tamir answered the phone after one ring! We set a time and Tamir is prompt. He is mindful of social distancing and is ready to get my front door open so I can be home instead of on the street. He identified the exact problem, had the correct tools, worked efficiently and swiftly. In no time the door and lock were functioning correctly. He acknowledged how difficult life can be. Really appreciate the great and quick service when I was locked out , came right over after a quick 20 minutes of waiting, opened my door and changed my lock, It works perfectly. Affordable and very professional.
Please shop around at least 2-3 places. Otherwise these ppl would rip you off. I didnt do the research when called the locksmith. He charged me 950 to change the lock which other locksmiths are willing to do it for 300 including the lock. And Im not 100% satisfied with the new lock cuz the lock front is not 100% attached to my door. He said it was the fault of my door.

I lost my apartment keys while riding my motorcycle, I called this locksmith around 1:00 a.m. on a weekend. He picked up the phone after only 2 rings and he came to unlock my apartment Door in less than 30 minutes which i believe is a great time!! His fee was extremely reasonable and did not try to take advantage of the situation and overcharge me! I was locked outside my apt around 11pm. I called the locksmith for service, a very nice Gentlemen told me he is in the neighborhood and can arrive quickly. He came after 20m and changed my lock to a brand new lock. Price is decent and service is reliable, highly recommended.
We needed to replace the locks our apartment came with, Tamir was friendly, professional, efficient, fair priced and also improved the performance of our other deadbolt. The weather was also bad outside and I honestly dont know how he came so fast. Anyhow, he let me into my office within minutes. Use this guy! His prices were great! I got locked out of my car on West End Ave this Saturday night. I googled to find a nearby locksmith in the UWS. A nice guy picked up the phone at 1am and said that he was on his way. Since this isn’t the first time it has happened to me, I was sure I’ll have to wait a few hours until a locksmith actually arrives... but not this guy!!! Call them because my main door lock was broken within. I left outside and my wife & kids inside. Locksmith4nyc got my call at 8pm and was in my door at 8:30 pm. Five minutes later I was in my home! Then they fixed the broken cylinder and the total price was much less I afraid it will be.
