LODED in other cities:
We were excited to try these burgers that looked amazing in the photos online. The food was tasteful and the shakes were very good. The only two issues I had was the price and the Mac and cheese which was a bit watered down for my liking. The balance of waffle and chicken to Mac and cheese was also disproportionate. One corner triangle of waffle which was quite tasty and one chicken tender? All in all, good tasting food but due to the $65 price tag for 2 shakes and 3 burgers I probably will not return.
Amazing comfort food mashed up with American classics like burgers, hot dogs, and fries. Very creative creations, every one Ive tried has been delicious. Highly recommended especially if you are looking for something just a little bit different (and familiar at the same time.) Good customer service and everything was clean and well organized. Great job to the crew!
They food is so good I wish the prices were reasonable. $20 for a good meal isnt unheard of, but Im a 200 pound man and of I pay $20 for a meal I want it to fill me up. Im much more likely to come back if it were a better value. Even a handful of fries to fill out the box would make it worth it. With this kind of price tag I could get a half pound steak and 2 sides. Your business WILL FAIL if you do not correct your prices.
This place was as good as advertised. I know this is a small thing, but some of these juicy burger and smash burger places will just throw stuff together and make it look sloppy. But I really appreciated the way that they created their burgers and didn’t just throw everything on there. You can have a nice juicy burger without It looking like you dumped it out of a bucket
I really like this place. Is it expensive? Yeah, kind of, but this is definitely one of those situations where you get what you pay for. The food is high quality, there are lots of options and the staff seem really friendly! They even have my order done on time every single time I go. I try to hit this place once at week as its just around the corner from where I work. The interior is small but I dig the aesthetic. A solid burger joint all around. Try the mac and cheese! Its awesome! Fries are fantastic as well.
I called ahead and had no idea what to order so after a few words I was on the right track. I wanted what I seen under Google pictures for this place they knew what it was and hooked me up. They then asked me about a drink and I asked about another beverage I had seen and they got it right the food looked just like the picture however the picture do no justice for the taste. 11/10 stars. My next stop will be rise and shine, which came recommend by an employee here. Cant wait.
I dont get the hype. $60 for 3 sandwiches and a fry that are pretty much standard smash burgers and a weird Nashville Hot chicken. Definitely not Nashville Hot at all. Not even close. The sauce was sticky and sweet, more like a hot bbq. It was ok, but def not what I was expecting it to be. The smash burgers werent anything special. However, the atmosphere is great and the service is faster than McDonalds.
I ordered a Smash Burger with SteakCheese with Witz. While my order was made rather quickly and it was exactly how I wanted it, my burger was over salted (noticeably to my taste). Everything looked very delicious and appealing to the eye. However, due to having too much salt on my order I couldnt really taste the other ingredients. I hope this isnt how they normally cook, but my first experience wasnt fully satisfying. Their prices seem to be reasonable considering the portion sizes they serve. I wouldnt mind giving them a try again at some point, but Im not local. Thus Im not sure when Ill be back in town again.
I ordered in from Loded. I ordered the BBQ vegan smash burger and BBQ vegan Mac. Like others have said it’s overpriced for sure. The burger was decent it could use a little freshness like a green or tomato to balance out the saltiness of the burger, fries and fried onions. The Mac n cheese was okay. If it didn’t have the bbq sauce or fries and onions on it, it would have bordered inedible. It lacked flavor on its own and had a weird after taste. If a place is charging $20 for a burger it should be amazing. This was just okay.
So my coworker mentioned eating here so I thought I’d give it a try. Overall the food was delicious. I got the surf and turf burger, bull go gi fries and a vanilla shake. Everything was great, theme was like outrageous diner food. Only things I disliked were the price, waiting time and texture of the shake. They were fairly busy but I waited 20mins past my estimated completion time. Additionally the shake had large chunks of ice. I would totally eat here again but maybe avoid busier times.
Creatively crafted burgers, mac and loded fries, friendly staff and comfortable minimalist atmosphere. A few outdoor tables are available for enjoying your meal in the sunshine.Cons: Mac has the taste and texture of Velveeta instant mack and cheese, a homemade approach would be tastier and more authentic. Drink selection could be better, maybe try offering some specialty sodas like Stewarts or a multi flavor self serve fountain. Overall still a great place to eat
Bul Go Gi burger was fantastic -- totally well-constructed, which is very important for a burger that is stacked with delicious, high-end toppings. I wish the fried pork belly was chopped into pieces, vs being in tough, French-Fry shape, but the onions and cheese and etc were heavenly and it all really worked well together. My wife got the Vegan burger and said that she liked it, but shell order something different next time.
Its been 4 months since I ordered from here and I STILL have weekly conversations about this horrendous meal with my husband. It was that upsetting.we got 2 burgers, some loaded fries, and milkshakes. attempting to eat the burgers was like trying to ingest a dusty readers digest i found in my aunts bathroom, the fries were a swampy soggy mess, and the milkshakes were just....milky liquid that had little to no sugar, let alone flavor. if all that isnt bad enough, it cost us damn near $75 to have this platter of disappointment delivered, neither hot nor fresh, to our door.PS: its not explicitly stated anywhere on GrubHub, but be warned, this is a sister restaurant of Rise n Shine diner. Once we figured that bit out the quality of the food made sense, but I think it should be advertised far and wide. LODED is just yet another establishment that cares more about the way the food looks on their website than how it looks when it reaches the customer.after writing this review, Ill be emailing google directly to ask that they allow reviewers leave 0 stars because my food from LODED was that bad.
Very overpriced and super mediocre food. $28 for a burger, mac n cheese and 2 Sprites. The burger was overcooked and very dry and the mac n cheese was super bland. The website is very misleading and makes this place look much better than it is. Very disappointed. Definitely wont be returning.
The aesthetic was super cool but the food just wasnt very good which was such a bummer! We absolutely love Rise N Shine and go there often so we expected the same amazing flavors and quality. My husband had the poutine burger and I had the Philly cheese steak Mac and cheese and they were just very bland unfortunately. My husbands cheese curds werent soft and the fries on the burger tasted like theyd been sitting out for a while vs fresh. My Mac and cheese was SO insanely greasy/oil covered and my stomach was upset for the rest of the day. Their chicken nuggets and sauces were actually pretty good though! If we went back it would probably just be to get a shake. Its also SUCH a small location too so I feel like it should be more advertised as a to go restaurant since you cant comfortably seat more than maybe 15 people.
This is my new favorite go to for any craving,A very unique menu with all sorts of combinations for burgers, chicken, and my favorite Mac and cheese, the portions are huge even the small is a meal, extremely friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere, you have to check this place out.
Was excited to try this place out. The website and pictures of the food set the expectations high. Unfortunately they did not live up to the hype. The concept and menu are great, they nailed that part. But the flavor was just severely lacking. Im guessing the burgers were pre-cooked since our order of 3 gourmet burgers and sides was done within 5 mins. I was so shocked by the lack of flavor particularly with an Au jus type dip that came with my brothers burger (literally was just water with paprika for color) that I went up to the staff to inform them of it, and suggested they taste it so more customers didnt experience what we did. (Didnt make a scene or do it in front of other customers, I just couldnt in my right mind not let them know just how bad it was) The table next to us also had issues and were not satisfied. Didnt ask for our money back or anything, staff was really friendly. Once again, the menu, descriptions and concepts very on point. The flavor profiles of each topping and ingredient just need to actually have flavor and cook the burgers fresh.
It’s a shame that there are people like Jessica Z who feel the need to lie about their experiences in an attempt to hurt a small business for no reason at all. I was eating lunch there when Jessica threw her food on the counter and said “this isn’t gluten free” and stormed out, without even allowing an employee to offer any alternative even though she was clearly explained the gluten free options available, which did not include the French fries… she got exactly what she ordered (I could literally hear the whole conversation) …by the way- the new chicken nuggets are cooked to perfection & the variety of sauces available are amazing.. Im a sauce lover and they did not disappoint - and the girl who took our order was knowledgeable and super friendly. I will definitely be back!
Mac and cheeses were very bland, the pasta was like we got the bottom of the batch. the pasta itself was very mushy, obviously over cooked, the cheese was separated and the cheesecake milkshake wasn’t worth the price. i had high expectations for this place because of how the food looked but it wasn’t very good.
Stopped in to check it out. Food and service were ok, but way overpriced. About $30 for a burger, soda, and a shake. The burgers and shakes are not substantial as one would think by description given from menu. They are rather small on quantity and quality for the price. Upgrade the quantity and quality, charge half as much, and this would be spot on.
Have had Loded via grubhub twice. First time was excellent, so we ordered again. And it went downhill.Tonight was a mess. The hot dog wit wiz wasnt delivered and we got some hamburger instead. Also, the 12 piece chicken nuggies were half good (literally 6 of them...light brown, tender etc) and the other half were hard as a rock, dark, as if they had been re-cooked in a fryer at the end of the night (our order was toward their closing time) *see pic* Fries were good..but for the price you pay..it would be nice to get what you ordered and, not have part of it so hard you cant bite it. :(I would give them 5 stars for their sauces though. Bummer I cant get those alone lol..wont be trying here again.
Amazing food, chill atmosphere, and friendly, knowledgeable staff!!The surf n turf burger is phenomenal. Juicy burger with fresh shrimp and lobster - the flavor combination is perfect. The fries never disappoint and the desserts are something you’ve never experienced before. I would definitely recommend going there - it is one of my favorites.
We saw this place online, and had to try based on their amazing photos. Did not disappoint at all! The food was SO GOOD. Both of our sandwiches were served piping hot, and both were big portions. My chicken sandwich was crispy and flavourful, with all high quality ingredients. The menu is unique and we both genuinely want to try everything on it. The restaurant itself was super clean with a cool atmosphere (love the lights on the ceiling), and you can tell a lot of care went into creating this space and menu. The staff were also incredibly friendly, from the front end down to the chefs. Well be back for sure.
Food was really not that good, it looks nothing like the pictures they have online. I ordered Nashville hot Mac and cheese. They only put one small cut up chicken tender on the large mac. The cashier condescendingly told the chef that I didn’t think I had enough chicken. After a couple minutes of the employees going back and forth the cashier said he would see if he could get me more… we finished our meal and that never happened. My wife ordered the surf and turf burger. They put two shrimp and one small piece lobster. The board states their burgers are $12 but we were charged $18 for hers… we were really excited to try this place. Such a shame. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back.
Take my advice and GO HUNGRY. This place has amazing food!!!! My family and I went there for an early dinner. We ordered a bunch of different things to kind of share, and taste some of the different dishes. We were super impressed with everything we tried. The portions are giant. There were 2 drawbacks we saw. The location is a bit hard to find, it’s set behind a tire store and there is only 1 really small sign. Also the dining area is a little cramped but it’s not too bad. You won’t be disappointed give Loded a try.
I ordered a milk shake that was above and beyond, a burger I didnt want to end. This is the best food Ive tasted in a while. I think what they have done is amazing. Im in love with this place and will definitely be ordering again and telling all my friends! Great staff and ownership!!!
My burger was amazing..it had steak, cheese wiz, peppers, onions and fried mozzarella on it.. funnel cake fries were bomb...Shake was good but had a lot of seeds in it (berry Cheesecake) could have been a little bigger too for 8 dollars. A little pricey but overall good. Place is cool inside but really small.
Really really great concept but the execution leaves a bit to be desired. 11 dollars for a basic chicken Sandwich with no sides leaves something to be desired. The mac and cheese was also supposed to come with pork belly but had very little meat on it. The portion of mac and cheese was very large though. Also the fries were excellent
Was very excited to try this place the food looked amazing online. Ordered over $100 worth of food for the office for lunch a couple weeks ago. First they forgot a whole order of Mac n cheese (I didnt complain or contact them because I was already back at work and was done dealing with it). The concept of the bulgogi burger was great but it came out a dry burger with no flavor. The Mac n cheese itself has no flavor so when you order a specialty Mac n cheese you get 90% of flavorless noodles while the rest tastes good. Will try again in hopes of a better experience
****Not gluten free**** we had a mom night out and decided to go here because the menu has several gluten-free options. Aside from the gluten-free bun, everything else has gluten. Even their gluten-free fries are fried with gluten filled foods. They didn’t seem to understand really what gluten-free meant. Three of us are sensitive to gluten and we all ended up with explosive diarrhea the next day. 😂 So it’s definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relief to constipation, or a quick way to drop 5 pounds. The food was delicious. But definitely not gluten free.
Not great food. Not great gluten knowledgeAfter informing the staff on my allergy, she did mention fryers were shared. I then ordered Mexi-fries (as Im usually ok with fries) but she failed to mention the fries themselves were battered! I only noticed after eating the first few that were COVERED with some pretty gross nacho cheese. When I turned in my order I wasnt offered any alternative, so I essentially paid $14 for a bottle of water.
Photos on website are colorful. The food appears to be incredibly adventurous and a dining experience worthy of our 50 mile drive to check it out. We soon realized that the photos on the website were misleading. Venue is very small. Its not a restaurant at all like we imagined. In fact, its more like a sub shop with a few tables to eat your sandwich. You are expected to seat yourself, but with an inside table seating capacity of perhaps 16 people in total, doing so may become a challenge. Our party of five borrowed chairs and squeezed around two tiny tables pushed together. The Food was just OK, at least for others in my party. Presentation for some resembled more of a garbage plate than an inspired culinary creation. One common trait among all meals was that everything fried came out very dark, indicating the oil in the fryers had not been strained properly or replaced in a very long time. In the bright side, the thick milkshakes were excellent and we appreciated that they came with large diameter straws! My own meal was a huge disappointment. Not only was the dish different from what I ordered, the contents was mediocre at best and something I would not recommend, to anyone.I ordered Chipotle French Toast Chicken Bacon Waffle (sounded incredible!) and instead received Nashville Hot N Dilly Dilly Chicken served on a bed of Mac and cheese. I told our server that it was not what I ordered. She asked to see my receipt (apparently to prove me wrong). Since Nashville Hot N Dilly Dilly Chicken was indeed on my receipt, that must have been what I ordered. Naturally, we wont question whether the girl who took my order pressed the wrong button on her register.Fine, I thought. I love Nashville Hot Chicken. I seek it out whenever we go to Nashville. I look for it in restaurants and even made it for my familys traditional Christmas Breakfast. Therefore, I feel confident in stating that Nashville Hot N Dilly Dilly Chicken is no closer to being Nashville Hot Chicken than a bag of Clancys Nashville Hot Chicken flavored potato chips you can buy at Aldis. It was a gross mess of curly mac & cheese topped with a few fried pickle chips and literally no more than 2-3 ounces of over-fried dried-out chicken covered in a thick & spicy breading. If I were to reassemble the tiny bits of chicken, they might have amounted to one (1) whole (albeit small) chicken tender. The Mac and Cheese was hot, but lacked flavor, and the consistency indicated very little natural cheese. In conclusion, I was very disappointed. Primarily because we had high expectations based on what was potrayed by their web site. In the end, it wasnt worth the $80 it cost or the hundred miles we drove. There are so many locally-owned restaurants in Syracuse where management and staff work hard to deliver a truly great experience.Sadly, this is not one of them.
Probably one of the best burger joints in the state. They have awesome creations great prices and they were busy but that just means they have great food. I got the surf n turf burger and it was awesome along with the birthday cake milkshake and it was great as well, I highly recommend this place, it is a hidden gem!!!
I order the Nashville dilly dilly chicken sandwich or whatever it’s called. Don’t get me wrong it was good. It wasn’t amazing by any means. The pictures of all the burgers and sandwiches make you think you need to in hinge your jaw to eat them but this is not the case. My sandwich was very small especially for eleven and not coming with any thing extra. The Nashville was basically the Popeyes chicken sandwich with dill Mayo only much smaller. Listen I know I’m a fat guy and I like to eat but don’t toy with me. If you want a chicken sandwich that is delicious and big try the ranch chicken sandwich from Tully’s. It comes with fries, a pickle and coleslaw for less than eleven dollars. Nice try though Loded
Fantastic food! Shout out to the staff and the one worker Juliana! The menu was confusing but she walked me through it and went out of her way to be so wonderful! I Ordered the doritos chicken sandwich and it was the best sandwich ive ever had! Defintley will be coming back!
This was probably my mistake ordering a salad, but I was disappointed with the amount of toppings (paid for individually) compared to the almost comically large amount of lettuce. It came in a pretty deep plastic bowl, but almost the entire thing was small bites of iceberg with a thin layer of some toppings scattered on top. There were a few shrimp, jalapenos and pickled onions and a small scoop of guac, but most of the lettuce was eaten without any toppings left to go with it. Even the dressing packet barely touched all of the lettuce.Like I said, this definitely isnt a salad place and Im sure the other menu offerings are far better. I just like finding healthier options at places that I go to with coworkers so I dont always feel stuck getting something super heavy for lunch if I dont feel like it that day. Mental note taken that healthy options are best found somewhere else, and this will be somewhere I go only when Im craving some a much heavier meal. Ill go back and give something else a try sometime soon.
I was on the fence between 2 or 3. The cashier truly disappointed me. I asked was the shakes from REAL ice cream and would there be REAL strawberries. He said, yeah.Omg... It was the stuff from the bag n NO fresh strawberries (they could have been frozen- chuckes are chuckes frozen or fresh!)I love the Aviance....
If heaven had a burger joint, itd be this one. Give the respect your tastebuds deserve and go here ASAP. The portions are enough to share with your family and all your ancestors. The flavor will have Flavor Flav screaming YEAAAAA BOIIIII!!! Seriously, dont be rude to your tastebuds and stomach and go get LODED!!!!

2022-02-22The food was all delicious and staff was friendly. The portions are huge - there is no way I could eat an entire loded burger or Mac n cheese by myself. The picture I included of the plain Mac n cheese was a small. The shakes are just as tasty as the food.

2022-07-02This place is great! They have so many interesting burgers, chicken, hot dogs and fries. I suggest going to their website and decide what you want before you go there to avoid taking a long time at the counter. Its a small place and doesnt have too much indoor seating. They do have picnic tables outside. Check this place out for sure.

2022-04-02Good food, just don’t eat inside.Saw so many recommendations for this place and decided to check it out. The menu is fun and the food was so good. The prices were a little higher than I expected but you get a lot of food. I would go here again but I do not recommend eating inside. You will leave smelling very strongly of fried food. I had to change my clothes as soon as I got home.

2022-03-21Great prices for great food in large portions. I was absolutely happy with it.As a foodie its worth noting that this is kinda from a different realm, the ingredients are almost all cheap/low quality. They just put them together in such perfect ways that the result is wonderfully delish.Every single item is super instagramable. Ill certainly be back every time Im in Syracuse.

2022-03-29This restaurant is awesome! Im going to say that right off the bat. I took my wife and daughter out for lunch and this was their pick. Having never been here, The website looked fun so we decided to give it a shot. The atmosphere inside is very fun. Aesthetically lots of pleasing colors. The flow of the restaurant was great. The music was a little loud but it fit the environment perfectly. As far as food its another home run, the meals were perfectly sized. All three of us left full and satisfied with the meal. This is exactly what you would want out of a smashburger joint. The menu was very enough so that everybody got a little bit of what they wanted! Also, I have to mention the fries were a standout on their own. Our meals were messy to eat and we wouldnt have had it any other way outstanding work by everybody involved here.My only criticism (And by far not enough to take away a star) Is that the building is tucked behind other buildings and you wouldnt otherwise know it was there unless you were looking for it.

2022-02-24I got a philly burger and small loaded fry. The items offered on the menu is interesting. I like the vibe of this place. I went at noon and I had to wait 20 mins. It seemed like the kitchen prioritized take out orders over dine in so you might want to order To-go if youre in a rush.

2022-04-24Friday afternoon lunch with 2 adults, 1 child. We had smash burgers, chicken nuggets, fries and a canolli shake. Everything was great. FYI, theres a small upcharge if you pay by card instead of cash (maybe 2%?)

2021-11-08This place has an amazing vibe and amazing food! The restaurant is so cool looking. I love the neons! The concept is awesome! I got the bull-go-gi Mac and cheese and it was DELICIOUS. Price was good. Sizes are generous. Staff was lovely and helpful in explaining the menu concept to me. I will come here every time Im in Syracuse 100% great dining experience. Oh and they have vegan options!!
