Water heater went out Friday late afternoon. We called Long Beach Plumbing and Heating right away and the owner John was able to install a brand new hot water heater first thing Saturday morning. We are very impressed by this company and will definitely use them again in the future. They were responsive, professional and reliable.
Add my name to the list of positive reviews for Long Beach Plumbing & Heating. Even though I knew my hot water heater tank failing wasnt an emergency, it was still nice to call the 24 hour hotline on a Sunday morning and speak to someone who took my information and assured me Id be hearing back. When they showed up Monday morning, Alex took a quick look, gave me a price and by 11:30 Alex and Jonny were putting in a new hot water heater. I asked them to check the safety valve on my boiler that I knew was bad and for a little extra, they were able to fix that too. All by 3PM. The work was very good quality and they were very friendly and helpful.
Jon was excellent. We had a back up that filled the boiler room. We called and he came in 30 minutes. He was extremely friendly. Found the problem immediately and took time to make sure the problem was fixed properly. He spent hours in our home to see through our issue. We have used other plumbers in the past but from now on I will only be calling him.
We recently renovated our bathroom to be handicapped accessible for my parents. Long Beach Plumbing was the company my contractor used to complete the job. John and his crew were efficient, prompt and upon leaving the site, always made sure that the areas they worked on were left clean and in the same condition they found it. Some of the shower trim was on backorder, so he installed what he had and called me several times to follow up to see when the parts were ready. He is extremely pleasant to work with and answered any questions we had completely. I have recommended him to several friends and we are customers for life. Put this company in your contact list!
Extremely happy with my service from Long Beach Plumbing & Heating. From Jon, to the office staff, to the gentlemen out in the field, everyone was professional and knowledgeable. Ive used them for multiple plumbing issues, such as clogged drains, faucet installation, and a gas leak. Never any problems, always punctual and prices are fair!
Called Long Beach Plumbing for an Emergency today (no hot water) and John arrived in 10 minutes. He came very highly recommended by other Moms I know in town. He was friendly , did the work and very affordable. I would highly recommend if you need a Plumber to call him first , you won’t be disappointed!!
We had Alex come most recently - he was great as are all the employees and principles. They very courteous and understanding to your needs. It can be unnerving having someone come to your home in the middle of a pandemic but they were great and clean and very fast! The Work itself is fantastic and Fast , they are responsive and John the owner always makes sure his customers come first. Unfortunately, we live in an old house and Jon and Long Beach Plumbing are regular visitors. Fortunately, Jon and his crew are expert plumbers who are incredibly responsive to frequent problems. Their team does great work, they stand behind their work and they always clean up after completing a job. My family would highly recommend them for complex or basic work.
I called Long Beach Plumbing at 8am last Saturday I had no heat or hot water. Had a call back from John in an hour and had Alex at my house an hour later. Alex diagnosed the problem, needed a new boiler John found a new boiler and Alex and his partner (sorry, cant remember his name) had it installed by 5pm. Highly recommend Long Beach Plumbing & Heating! On more than one occasion Jon has responded to help us in a pinch, answering a call on Christmas Eve and installing a new thermostat (YES they also do HEATING) after hours. His team has also helped us change our whole house filter, and most recently install a new kitchen faucet and toilet bowl. Jon was extremely helpful in his recommendations, actually obtaining the faucet and toilet bowl for us, and of course installation. Service has always been done in a timely manner. Long Beach Plumbing and Heating provided us excellent service. Our heat was out on a Sunday, and they were the first company to get back to us. Mike arrived at the house within an hour or two and diagnosed the problem quickly. After they got the part, John, the owner of the company, came back and replaced it himself. John also helped us identify some additional plumbing issues that other companies failed to rectify previously. Overall, we were very pleased and would recommend their services to both friends and family.
I had issues with the plumbing in a new house we bought in RVC. Jon and his staff at long beach plumbing handled my problem immediately. There is a reason the online reviews are so good for them. EXCELLENT!! I called and Jon was very attentive. His plumber, Alex, arrived on time and immediately addressed the issue in my bathroom. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I called Jon , the owner of Longbeach Plumbing and Heating at 4:30 pm on November 26. I had a leak in my bathroom stack pipe. John responded almost immediately and said he would send someone within the hour. Fifteen minutes later Mike responded to my home in the pouring rain,. This was my first time dealing with them. Mike assessed the situation in a professional manner and said I had a leak in a cast iron pipe in the wall.This was a best guesstimate. He called Jon and they said they would come the next day at 9 am.Mike came with his assistant at 8:25 am and immediately began working . He cut into the wall behind my refrigerator and located the leak in a cracked cast iron pipe and replaced the pipe. Jon came by and introduced himself . Very professional and courteous service. They were here for 3.5 hours. Very reasonable price for a great job. I would highly recommend this local plumber.
Once upon a time a girl opens a hair salon. One day 3 weeks after opening, while super busy with a bunch of clients with color in their hair the water mysteriously stops working. After freaking out she calls her knight in shining denim, John the plumber. See, John did the plumping when she first opened her salon and was really amazing so she knew we wouldnt let her down. This is my story about literally the best plumber in the world. John dropped everything he was doing, and came to my rescue in 5. No joke, it was actually 5 minutes. John And Mike (who, by the way is also amazing) after checking everything so thoroughly, determined I need a new hot water heater. I wont bore you with too many more details but they come up with a solution so that I can continue to be open and get the color out of my customers hair before there heads melt off, yay! They spend the next hour flushing my hot water heater, totally saving the day. So seriously if you ever need anyone reliable, affordable and trustworthy to handle your plumbing needs. I had no water in my house. Alex was there within an hour! Assesed and repaired a broken pipe and very reasonably priced!! Highly recommend!!Update 4/4/19Today, I had no hot water ... I called Long Beach Plumbing, because I was so impressed with them on their last visit. Again, owner Jon Salli arrived with Kevin in less than an hour. They assessed that I had a clogged pipe that backed up into my Navien system. All systems go in less than 30 minutes!! Prompt and reasonably priced..... and THE nicest guys, ever!
I had an emergency stoppage in a sink drain that was backing up in a few different areas. Looked like a real mess, but they rushed over here and took care of everything. They found/fixed the problem in an hour and left their work areas clean.Easy to deal with, very fair pricing, and did a great job.
Jon and his crew were a pleasure to work with. My hot water heater blew on a Saturday evening while I was hosting a party of 15 people. Within 5 mins of calling Jon he was at my house, showed me what went wrong, how to stop the flooding and ensured that he would get this fixed ASAP. Like clockwork, on Monday morning his crew arrived first thing and had the tank changed before I finished my morning coffee. They were polite, mindful not to make a mess and very professional. Having a multi-unit I inquired about proactively changing the other tank but Jon was honest with me and said to wait, as it would be an unnecessary cost at this time. He could have up sold me on the tank but instead he was truthful and transparent. Finding someone who does good work, is responsive and HONEST is not easy and luckily we got introduced to Jon. It is a no brainier for us when the next tank goes or when other issues arise, Jon will be our ONLY call.
We had a burst pipe emergency on a Sunday! After I made the call Long Beach Plumbing was here within the hour. Pat and his helper were fantastic, they even found a pin hole leak in another pipe and averted another emergency. Fantastic service, reasonably priced, highly recommended.
My wife and I recently purchased a home. A few weeks in, we woke up to leak in our kitchen coming from the bathroom above. In a state of new homeowner panic, I asked around for a plumber that could help us out. I was recommended John at Long Beach Plumbing and when I texted him, he responded back to me in minutes. A few short hours later he was at the doorstep with his crew ready to help. John and his guys fixed our emergency issue ,and also took the time to resolve some other matters that were less pressing. They worked really hard, for very fair pricing, and earned our trust as new homeowners for any future plumbing needs that our bound to occur.

Our family can’t say enough amazing things about Long Beach Plumbing and Heating. Whenever we call for anything - the response is incredible. We recently called to inquire about an outdoor shower installation in our LIdo Beach home - something we’ve literally been dreaming about for years.It was installed THE SAME DAY - at a very reasonable price. This is the icing on the cake - my family is extremely big and tall - all between 5’10 and 6’5. All except for my 18 year old daughter who is somehow 5’1. When the owner of LB Plumbing saw how excited my daughter was about the outdoor shower - he followed her to see her reaction. He saw the shower was installed too high for her to reach it comfortably. He immediately had his guys lower the entire shower so she could reach it without a problem. You should have seen her face - it lit up like a Christmas Tree. Its little thoughtful moves like that - that will have me using him for a lifetime. Not only is the service top rate - but they truly care about their customers.

I want to send out a big thank you to Jon S. the owner of Long Beach Plumbing. I live on Shore Rd and he came Saturday night to our building for an emergency. It was actually his birthday night but he still came to the building to assist us. He stopped the leak and he and his crew came back the next morning and repaired the pipe, turned the heat back on and did a great job. They were all very professional and I cant say enough how much we appreciated everything they did. If you have a plumbing issue whether apartment or home, LB Plumbing is the company to call!
Long Beach plumbing is a rip off ! They were recommended to us to repair our Navien boiler, so we scheduled an appointment during normal business hours. Their technician was at my house for less than an hour and changed the mixing value part, which cost $85. He then handed me a bill for $814. I was shocked since the average plumber charges less than $100 per hour. When I called John the owner he said that they charge a flat $750 fee to repair that part since it can sometimes take several hours. This was never told to me prior to the work being done and when I told John the technician as at my house for less than an hour he begrudgingly said the best he could do was reduce the bill to $714. Outrageous to charge $650 for one hour of basic plumbing work. Never use this company unless you want to over pay !
John and his team are responsive, reliable, friendly and great at their work. I had three other heating companies in to unsuccessfully fix an issue on my heating unit and it took these guys 5 minutes and one part to fix the problem finally and completely. They have helped me late at night, early in the morning, on weekends- it is great to have someone like them to depend on for emergencies. No need to call anyone else- I highly recommend this company.
They came out to fix my Navien in October. They had to come back the next day because it was still leaking. They guy claimed there was a simple piece missing he “repaired” it. We left out of state the very next day and came back 3 months later to a pool of water on the floor which leaked to garage. Been apparently leaking since we left. We called them back they came and immediately pointed out that we had the original Navien that was full of flaws and it should be replaced. When I asked why didnt they suggest replacing it in October instead of them taking our money he said he would work with us. They were supposed to come out that Sunday did not show up. They were supposed to come Monday then they never showed. The woman called to apologize twice and said someone was coming. No one ever did come...nor did anyone call us to say anything. We did not pursue it further. Just paid over 7k to have a new system installed by a different company. Very disappointed in how they handled our situation. The system was installed properly and we were taken advantage of during Sandy by our builder with this terrible installation. Now years later these guys “fixed” it twice knowing it should have been replaced. Hard to find reliable companies. Beware.

July, 25 2020I am writing this short letter to compliment and express my gratitude to John Salli from Long Beach Plumbing.My wife and I, both in our 70’s, called Long Beach Plumbing about a main sewer backup with sewer water running onto my basement floor. John himself called me back within an hour, on a Saturday, and immediately came over. He analyzed the problem and repaired it within one hour. My family recently had a disaster flood that led from the upstairs bathroom into the livingroom below. We called Long Beach Plumbing and Heating on a Sunday night and wihin 30 minutes John was knocking on my door. Not only was the problem fixed in record time... (on a SUNDAY NIGHT), but he has the sweetest personality ever... oh and the price was amazing! This is the second time we’ve used his services and will continue to do so. When a company helps your family so quickly during an emergency- and doesn’t take you to the cleaners, that’s something you never forget. Truly 5 star in every way..... from the service and pricing to the response time, uniforms and trucks.... top notch!

Long Beach plumbers were so professional. In the past 2 years I have had terrible experiences with plumbers. Having a new construction and relying on my contractor for plumbing was literally a nightmare for me. They made serious mistakes. Long Beach plumbing came in to my home spotted the issue immediately and took care of it. I have a product called aquatherm which required a special tool. They went above and beyond to have the tool present and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The owner came to my home to check it all out and then his guys took over. Very clean, they wore booties!!I can’t say enough about Long Beach Plumbers

Long Beach Plumbing to the rescue.It was a cold Thanksgiving day this year. We woke up to a freezing cold house. I went to take a shower and no hot water. I immediately went to check our Navien Combo unit, which was displaying an Error code.Mind you, it was 6:30AM when I placed my call to Long Beach Plumbing. John answered the call, I explained to him the problem and the error message on the Navien. John stated Ill be there in 20 minutes. When John arrived, he surveyed the situation and determined that we werent getting any gas to the house. He contacted National Grid and explained to them that their workers, who had just finished running new gas lines to our house had somehow created the problem.We were scheduled to go to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. National Grid explained that they could send a crew to check out the problem but it wouldnt be for several hours.At that point, John really stepped up. He worked it out with National Grid to call his cell phone when they arrived at our site. We gave John keys to our house so that he could get back into the house when National Grid showed up.We left for Massachusetts, leaving Long Beach Plumbing and Heating to get the situation corrected.Several hours later, I received a call from John at Long Beach Plumbing and Heating. He explained that when they ran the new line there must have been some water that managed to get into the gas meter and froze. John explained that National Grid had to replace our Gas meter and once that was done we had heat and hot water again.I truly believe that this service provided by Long Beach Plumbing and Heating went above and beyond your typical service call.I highly recommend Long Beach Plumbing and Heating to anyone that wants a true professional. Long Beach Plumbing and Heating went about and beyond.Thank you John for allowing us to have Thanksgiving Day with our children in Massachusetts.
We woke up to the dreaded phone call that our pipes burst and water was flowing through our property. We called John and he was at the house within 20 minutes. He assessed & addressed all repairs immediately, and even replaced the boiler the same day so that we would not incur any additional damage. I have nothing but positive things to say about John and Long Beach Plumbing & Heating. We had a flooding issue that first started at 7:00pm last night-we initially thought it was a breach in the wall from all of the rain, but soon saw issues with our tenant’s shower drain and realized this was in fact a plumbing/sewer issue. After calling the plumber my family had used for many years and them not being available to come, I reached out to John. He was at my house within minutes. He was so determined to fix what turned out to be a sewage blockage issue. He stayed and worked late and was really quite kind.5 stars for his competence, professionalism and attitude.
Recently we woke up to no heat in our house. I am six months pregnant with two other children in the house. I called Long Beach Plumbing and they came within an hour. Unfortunately the problem with our heater was tricky, but Alex did not leave our house until the heat was fixed. He was there until 8pm that night, but we went to bed with heat!!! Not only did Alex fix our heat, but he was extremely polite the entire time. Never did I feel uncomfortable or have lack of confidence with Alex or any of the Long Beach Plumbing team that came to help assist. This was not the first time we have used Long Beach Plumbing, and will continue to be our first call in the future.

John is the best in town! Knows exactly what he’s doing and explains it. And always comes through in a pinch! LB Plumbing has helped me out multiple times when I needed some last minute work.
Alex was great in identifying and resolving the issue i had with a leak in pipe and correcting the back pitch in some old piping. The work itself was great. However the response from Jon himself was awful. They bumped me off my scheduled appointment the first day. Was told I get a call with a quote after they finally came to assess the situation and I never got one. I had to track down Jon the next day myself. From there i was bumped again for a bigger job. After alex finished the work he said Jon would call me to follow up on a different issue and put me in touch with a handyman to repain cutouts. Never got a call back.So again the work was good but follow up was terrible. Seems like a 2k job isn’t worth their time.
I call John at 1pm because the 2family house I live in had its trap clogged. He came out within 20 minutes and immediately knew what the problem was and fixed it in about 10 minutes. He was very professional and extremely reasonable and very clean! To be honest, I thought he was going to charge me double what he cost. Such a nice guy, I’m giving all my local friends John’s number. Excellent service!!
Excellent!!!! On time, efficient, honest. Any plumbing issue you have call Jon. I had a stopped up bath tub, his guy Mike came right on time, and within 30 minutes problem was fixed, left the bathroom clean, I have no complaints and will recommend them to anyone asking.
Just wanted to say thank you to John and his crew for a job well done. we recently converted our heating system from oil to gas and were a little nervous about doing a big job like this in the winter. John was patient and professional when explaining the work that would be done....and true to his word, the work was accomplished in the exact time frame he gave and at the quoted price.The workers were friendly ,skilled and worked neatly When they left that day the heat and hot water were working and we are very pleased that we made the commitment .It is important to me to deal with people that have integrity and are good at what they do...thanks again

Had a clogged drain backing up into my basement. From my initial call, the plumber was at my house in 30 mins. Very knowledgeable, was professional and cleared the blockage in no time. Have and will recommend to anyone I know.
First thing and most important...Jon is a handsome devil.Kidding aside...Jon and his guys are great! They are professional and always show up when they say they will. Needing to catch a plane and get a leak fixed on a Sunday, we were introduced by a mutual friend. Johns answer, Let me get out of my flip flops and get my truck. Personable, professional and excellent work!!PS They came back a week later for other work we needed. Finally finding a plumber we were happy with, we gave them our punch list. The same results!! [Would give extra stars if we could.]

I can’t give a rating high enough for these guys! I bought a new house and use it seasonally. They’ve helped me equip it to manage it from a far and are super knowledgeable. I’ve also had a few instances where systems weren’t functioning properly and they are super responsive to any call big or small, and show up on time. They are professional and very helpful in educating you about your home and how best to care for it! Highly recommend!
Called them at 2:00 for a problem with my on demand Navien hot water system. Had a Navien specialist at my house by 4:30 same day. He trouble shot the system, called Navien on my behalf to try and get the issue covered even though it was out of warranty by about a year. Had the part that needed replacing on hand in the truck and had my house up and running with hot water promptly. Very reasonable, professional, friendly and clean. Highly recommend and went above and beyond to improve the efficiency of the boiler by doing some simple yet effective maintenance.
I would highly recommend. John and guys came out at 8:30 on a Saturday night to fix my boiler and a leak. Stayed to 10:30 and did a great job at an extremely fair price. First rate all the way.

For all those in need of a plumber - I just had LB plumbing at my house; final cost - $325 plus tax - why am I open about this?? Just this morning I was quoted $700-$800 from another company for the same job. Mike from LB plumbing was here 2 hours and did a great job explained everything when he was done and even suggested how to move the light in the basement so it doesn’t short out again! Awesome!!

I’ve been here 15 years and worked with many professionals. Long Beach Plumbing & Heating is The Best! Speed and price are outstanding! I give them highest ratings.
They tell me they will call me back with information about replacing shower handles and never do (“it takes weeks to find a part”.. ok). When I call to follow up the woman answering the phone is passive aggressive every time. Charged $270 to come twice to replace a shower head and spout. I understand a service charge, but I am 9 blocks from their office and when a plumber does not spend much time completing a routine service that feels steep. The spout is not aligned to the wall and looks horrible. This is the first review I have ever written, it is not like myself to do this, but the entire experience was like reading a book on how not to run a business.
I had an original toilet removed in my co-op from 1962. The pipe was in the wall LB pluming sent Mike to install a toilet with a tank. They did a great job & the price was very competitive

Came home from vacation with a flood from a broken hot water heater. Within 2 hours Long Beach plumbing had the water removed -replaced the hot water heater and called a service to handle the water damage. Amazing

Diagnosed the problem immediately. Fixed all problems and offered advice on how to get the optimum performance from my navian boiler. Trustworthy, friendly, professional and fast. Will be using Long Beach plumbing and heating for now on.

I called them at 2am to come for emergency service. They called right away and said they can come in the morning at 830. They showed up on time and fixed the problem. They charged me an extra emergency fee . I dont agree with the emergency fee because they did not come right away. They say because its a weekend they charge more. I was disappointed.

Im not one to leave bad reviews but I gotta tell you.I was out of town and was not consulted by my wife that she hired this company for replacing an exhaust pipe that was 3 feet long from hot water tank to chimney from a 3 to 4 inch galvanized pipe took the men 15 mins to to install and ripped us off sorry but I had to vent also

2022-01-02This is by far the most professional and knowledgeable plumber I have ever dealt with. Our Tub was not draining so I called today. The owner John answered and said he would be able to swing by to address my issues. He called shortly after and asked if 2:30 would work. He showed up on time and fixed our tub. He was clean and made sure my tub drained correctly before he left. I will definitely use them if I have issues again. I knew I was in good hands when the actual owner comes and works on issues. Thank you John.

2022-06-07I have called 8 times in a weeks time to try to get service from these guys. They have been fantastic when they came out to my house last summer to fix a water heater, boiler and shower. On call 8, after a week of leaving messages with their message service rep, I was told to find another plumbing service. Is Long Beach Plumbing & Heating, Inc. out of business?

2022-06-01I have used them twice before and they were great and professional. But lately I don’t know what happened but they have changed! I called them for a leaking bathtub sink and the office said they will call me back. A week has passed but no call. Maybe they were soooo busy and my problem is not an emergency but they NEVER called back so I called another plumber. Lately I have another leaking faucet and I said to myself let me call them again . Same thing happened! No call back! They could at least let their office call me back and tell me that they cannot accommodate me so I can look for another plumber! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and INCOSiDERATE!!!!!

2020-05-27I highly recommend! I have used Long Beach Plumbing several times and they are always professional, helpful and reasonably priced. I recently had a large boiler leak late at night, and Jon got here within 15 minutes and stayed for over an hour to get things under control. His guys worked for 12 hours the next day to replace and repair everything and did a great job. Super nice guys, very reasonably priced and always quality work. I wouldnt use anyone else!

2021-05-20Incredible plumbing service! We have used several in the area as well as from other parts of the island. I’ve dealt with rude and unprofessional people as well as insane prices and lies. Long Beach plumbing is anything BUT those things. They offer very fair prices and are HONEST. Completely honest. I have asked their opinions and they always tell me truthfully if something needs repair or not. They are friendly and professional , and always neat! They are true professionals and go out of their way to help you. So happy and impressed with them, they have a customer in us for life.

2020-08-07The BEST of the best!! We had them install our outdoor shower and then we unfortunately needed to replace the boiler / hot water heater. They came immediately to give us quotes, even when it wasnt an emergency, and scheduled the work right away. Everyone on their team is professional, knowledgable and does great work. John (the owner) is very fair with his prices and tries to help you find ways to save money which was greatly appreciated, especially for these unexpected costs. HIGHLY recommend!!

2019-08-02Long Beach Plumbing did a fantastic job for us! They installed our whole house filtration system and drinking water system, as well as repaired some pipe leaks. We are super happy with all of their work. From the minute I called them, I knew that I made the right decision. John responded to me fast and answered all of the questions I had about choosing the right system for our home. The ease with which I was able to schedule the appointment for the work up until the completion of the work was a breeze. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and did a great job. 2020-04-06Water heater went out Friday late afternoon. We called Long Beach Plumbing and Heating right away and the owner John was able to install a brand new hot water heater first thing Saturday morning. We are very impressed by this company and will definitely use them again in the future. They were responsive, professional and reliable.
