Working with Susan was one of the most amazing experiences ever. I’ve never done a shoot like this before so I was very nervous - but her grace, confidence, beauty and positivity, pushed me to pull my very own out - I had so much fun and felt so empowered. I now have photos to die for (I never knew I was capable of) - that I will cherish and forever remember this very moment in time..as the upmost lifting, powerful and of course, sexy! ❤️
Susan made what could have been an awkward experience absolutely magical! She made my visions come to life in a way I never thought possible. The thought and care behind each and every photo was abundantly clear and her passion shines through in each photo. It was so much more than a photo shoot but a true experience and a lesson in finding myself. It felt like hanging out with someone I’ve known forever, I just happened to be in lingerie and posing for photos. Completely worth it and I absolutely cannot wait to go back!!!
Susan is amazing! I walked into my shoot nervous and self conscious, I left my shoot with a new found confidence and love for myself in a way I never had experienced. This shoot was an anniversary gift for my husband and the way she put the album together really told a story and of course, my husband was beyond impressed! I highly recommend this experience Susan offers it’s more than just surface level. You will glow from the inside out!
This woman is a visionary! No, a photo GENIUS!!! I booked a shoot as a gift for my husband for our one year anniversary. At least, I *thought* it was for my husband. It turned out this shoot was something I needed to do for myself just as much as for him. And his reaction??? Oh boy. I don’t even know if I can write it in a public forum!! LOL. Let’s just say he was BLOWN AWAY!!!And not just with the photo content either. He loved everything about the book too, the leather wrap on the outside, the level of quality of the construction, and mostly how incredibly CLASSY and ELEGANT the photos came out. Don’t get me wrong.. these were not for the faint of heart! But they were taken SO professionally they look like they belong in a magazine. The lighting, posing, and editing can rival anything in Vogue. Seriously they are without a doubt my favorite photos of myself (and that is including my wedding photos!). I look at these photos and I feel like a g-damn rockstar. You get what you pay for and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY.Now that’s the finished product, but I want to talk a bit about the shoot, because I think that’s equally if not more important. Susan is perhaps one of the loveliest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Talk about a judgement free zone!!! I walked in there so nervous (and I am NOT a shy person!) and left there like I could conquer the world. Susan has this innate ability to bring out all the best characteristics of yourself and it really shows in the photos. I always say the sexiest thing a woman can wear is confidence and Susan is able to bring out every ounce of it!! By the end of the shoot I was ROCKING it!!! She is so patient and helps guide you through poses, she shows you photos as you go too which really helps so you can adjust your poses as need be. After I left I felt so silly for ever being nervous. This woman is a PRO!! Also I felt very comfortable knowing they thoroughly clean everything in between shoots!So I guess if you were so sum up my review in a nutshell, there is one boudoir photographer to see, and it is Susan!!!
Susan is one of the most talented photographers I’ve ever seen. She has such an amazing eye for high fashion details with such an elegant and classy aesthetic. The leather photobooks she has made are timeless keepsakes, but what makes her truly special is her overall presence. She can make the most camera shy or insecure person feel like a million bucks. She is the ultimate hype woman and can so naturally put you in all your best poses and angles.She also an option to use her amazing on site hair and makeup stylists. I can’t say enough good things about Susan or her studio.She brought out a confidence in me I didn’t know I had. I can’t wait to go back again sometime.10/10 recommend.
If you ever dreamed of having your own boudoir photo shoot then Susan is your girl!!! I came across Susans business page via a google search, which brought me to her web page. As I went through her web page, I felt very comfortable as if I already knew who this person was. I searched for months for a photographer with a portfolio that was appealing to me. We immediately clicked once we spoke on the phone and I decided to book my shoot right then and there. Susan was very professional and so much fun to work with. I felt like a superstar the entire time. My shoot was during the pandemic and Susan was 100% compliant to all safety precautions. I also paid for my makeup and hair with Susans associate (forgive me I cannot remember her name) She was also very sweet and friendly. My hair/makeup turned out fabulous and I was very happy with the final look. When I received the final album, it was so bittersweet and very empowering to see myself like that. I highly recommend doing this at least once in your life. I cannot wait for my next shoot with Susan. Susan, thank you so much for capturing my beauty in such an eloquent way.
I had the extreme pleasure of working with Susan for a photoshoot and let me tell you it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Not only did Susan make me feel comfortable, safe, relaxed (not an easy task) but I left feeling beautiful and confident.I just received my photo album which is STUNNING. The quality is unreal. I dont even know where to begin with how great this experience was. As an anxious, self-conscious woman, there was no other way to describe this experience other than transformative. I walked in, nervous and hesitant, but only after a few minutes of talking with Susan, it was like talking to my best friend of many years. She put me right at ease with her gentle and reassuring style. And after I started to let myself go and truly feel the entire experience, I completely stepped into my power - which has stayed with me long after the photoshoot (I am feeling more confident and more like myself again after years-long-battles with SSRIs!) I felt like a true hollywood glamour model (what I was aiming for) and man, do the photos show it! Susan knows exactly what to do, how to position, and how to instruct to get every woman to highlight their absolute best qualities (personality, too!). I was dying the entire time looking at the photos over zoom, and I am dying now waiting to see the finished product (a gift album for my fiance as a wedding gift!) Susan is more than a photographer, she is an absolute artist and I hope some day to do some even more creative art-inspired shoots with her! I love her, I love this studio, I love her work, this is a MUST DO!!!
This was an amazing experience and that’s all because of Susan. She makes you feel beautiful, sexy and confident. The day of the shoot itself was one of the most fun I’ve ever had, and it was a full day of “all about me.” She listens and you feel comfortable right away. During the lead up, she is super responsive and professional. The studio is amazing and getting my hair and make up done by Kelly was the perfect start. Every woman should experience this!

I’ve been wanting to do a boudoir photography shoot for many years now. This year my husband and I celebrated our nine year anniversary and I wanted to do something special. I found Susan after doing a Google search and fell in love with everything she was offering. I decided to do the full day photo shoot Which comes with full hair and make up.Susan has such a wonderful energy and made me feel at ease. Her attention to detail and talent is extremely rare. We had such a fun time at the photo shoot.I loved the fact that she was so organized and had everything prepared before I even arrived. She had put together each set in the most creative ways by choosing which lingerie I would wear with which jewelry for each set. Susan shoots in a way that really brings out your best self and I loved how powerfully feminine I felt.After choosing the pictures and seeing the results of the final album I was so taken back with how incredible it came out. My husband absolutely loved it and couldn’t believe how perfect everything looked. I could not be happier and I recommend Long Island boudoir photography to anyone who is looking to put a little more sexy in their life.
This was absolutely the best experience I had, to feel special and beautiful throughout the day of the shoot.Susan has the unique ability to truly capture flawless pictures while having fun, built my confidence level up, and definitely getting me out of my comfort zone. I recently worked with Susan and her assistant for a boudoir shoot for my wedding gift to my husband. First off, Susan and her assistant made me feel so comfortable, I felt like they were great friends of mine by the end of the day! Susans creativity and direction were awesome, clearly capturing my vision and helping me every step of the way. The photos were incredible and the she worked so hard to get the album done in a short time, in time for the wedding day. I could not be happier with the finished product. My husband loves it! There are so many things that I want to say about Susan, the experience, and the outcome. First of all, I had the idea to do a boudoir photo shoot for my husband‘s 40th birthday. When I googled, A bunch of different websites came up, but they all had a similar, not so nice look or at least a look I was not going for. They didn’t have what I was looking for until I found Susan‘s website. I knew from that second that I had to use her. After stalking her website for a few weeks LOL I finally gained enough courage, ripped off the Band-Aid so to speak, and submitted my information. Susan called me back very promptly, and after two seconds of speaking with her, it was like we were friends for the longest time. She just has this way of making you feel so comfortable and relaxed. I was so nervous, I am super shy, I’m not someone who likes to be in front of the camera and I told her all of that and she assured me I would be fine and we would have the greatest time. She is truly one of a kind and someone that you just want to be friends with. Now the experience is one that I will never ever forget. I don’t know how I was standing there in lingerie in front of someone and it felt right and felt like so comfortable. We laughed, we had fun, It was one of my favorite days ever. Now, the outcome of this is more than I could ever have imagined. I literally cried when I saw my album because I really could not believe that it was me. The pictures are incredibly elegant, beautiful, the shadowing and everything we’re just done so beautifully. I truly could not be happier with the whole entire experience. Now the best part was my husband‘s reaction. It was a surprise and I knew that he would never ever expect me to do something like this so when he saw it, he was in shock and in awe. And now he’s just completely obsessed with them. This may sound a little odd but I totally am too. I cannot thank Susan enough for this experience, it was incredible and I have the pictures to prove it. And 100% I would do this again and again and again. Susan, you truly are a wonderful person, A joy to work with, And for sure one of a kind. thank you for making me feel and look so beautiful. I will never forget this feeling ❤️
This was one of the most amazing, empowering and life changing experiences! I was such a nervous wreck and so self conscious about doing a photo shoot like this, but after meeting with Susan all those fears subsided, and I had a great time. She made me feel comfortable, and we laughed a lot like we were old friends. My photos and album are flawless, and my husbands eyes almost popped out of his head when viewing them. I did a shoot for my husbands wedding gift and I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Susan is and how beautiful her work is. After the first few minutes, I was so comfortable in front of her camera and not nervous at all. The finished product was so gorgeous and special and it was an experience that I will never forget. I really wanted to do something fun and different for my soon to be husband, but didnt know what I should do. After extensive searching, I fell upon the idea of Boudoir Photography. The idea of doing this photo shoot was exciting but also made me really nervous. When I came across Susans page, I got this overwhelming sense of relief. I hadnt even met her yet but I knew right away she was the photographer that I needed. Responsive, professional, fun, exciting, sweet and just amazing describe her. Her work on the other hand - the most gorgeous photos I have ever seen. Her work is bar none top of the top and I am so privileged to have been shot by her. She knew how to make me feel comfortable, and after the long day I swear she made me feel like i deserved to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated. I highly recommend Susan. The experience was amazing and something I can never forget. Oh, and by the way - my husband STILL cant stop looking at the pics!!
When i decided to do a shoot (which i have never done before) for my husband as a gift on our wedding day(just as much as i did it for myself) after i did much research; i found Susans page. After exchanging phone calls and emails between Susan and i; i was so excited! I knew from our first phone call i was comfortable with her. On the day of the shoot naturally still nervous she completely turned that around for me! Her energy is like no other and she has the ability to make you feel comfortable and beautiful in front of a camera and makes it so much fun!! My makeup and hair came out so beautiful there ! Besides the patience and effort that went into it all Im sure , the album was breathtaking. It was honestly more than i could have ever imagined without exaggeration. Shes truly talented at what she does. Pictures to me are memories that you have forever that you can look back on and cherish. You only live once and Ironically having this be my first experience doing this i was lucky enough to have found Susan. She gave me pictures me and my husband will have forever; (That he absolutely loves btw!!!!) but she also gave me such a wonderful experience that i will always remember and be grateful for. I am so happy i did the shoot and went to Susan!! I wouldnt recommend anyone else besides her!! Shes the best and her work definitely shows it!
I loved my experience with Susan. She made my day and experience very special. My shoot was about 2 yrs ago but feels like it was yesterday. As I look at my album that was beautifully made and arrived on a timely manner, I cant help but smile as the photos warm my heart. As a model, I have worked with many photographers. Susan by far is the best there is. She knows exactly what she is doing and her images come out AMAZING. I keep going back to her for more shoots. After a while, you get addicted because the over all experience is so awesome. She has an amazing make up artist that is friendly and warms you up to the shoot and by the time you are on set, you feel relaxed. Susan is GREAT at giving directions during the shoot. Many photographers that Ive worked with just say to me okay what do you want to do next? As the model, its hard to always come up with your own ideas on the spot. But Susan is a creative genius and tells you exactly what works, what pose to do and shes very encouraging. Her overall friendly and warm demeanor makes you feel so comfortable right away. I highly recommend shooting with her to every woman that is looking for good professional, flattering photos and that is looking for empowerment. Its not only photos you walk away with, but the experience of a lifetime as well.
I was very nervous about doing a shoot not having a model body. From my very first conversation with Susan all those fears where put at ease. The constant communication and the attention to every detail during the shoot was so reassuring. I went in thinking I should get 4 or 5 good pictures and walked out with so many good pics that I had a hard time narrowing them down. This is exactly what a boudoir shoot should feel like exciting and empowering!
This was such an amazing experience! Susan is so, so talented. I decided I wanted to do the shoot as a gift to my husband for our wedding. I thought to myself I must be crazy! I am so not the type of girl to do these things but I am so crazy for my husband that the thought popped into my head and I wanted to see it through.From the moment I spoke to Susan on the phone I was made comfortable. She is super sweet, so upbeat and you can tell that she absolutely loves her job.Upon arriving for my shoot I still had nerves but she quickly settled those for me. I had THE BEST TIME. We laughed throughout the entire morning. She made me feel comfortable and beautiful. She helped me form the most beautiful poses. My album came out GORGEOUS! And my husband absolutely loved it! What made it so special is while I was a bit outside my comfort zone, all the photos aligned with me as a woman. It aligned with my personality and I felt like she maintained everything natural about me. I wasnt overdone with makeup. I got to pick my settings and outfits and from beginning to end this was an awesome experience.Susan is beyond talented and you will not be disappointed with her work or this experience. Abby was also amazing and super sweet!! The two of them work so well together and you can tell just enjoy and love what they do. I really think every woman at some point should do this! I certainly am looking forward to doing it again with her for future life events!!!

I did this for my 40th bday and it was one of the most positive, fun, and empowering experiences I’ve had! Susan makes you feel and look like a goddess and she will take all of your crazy ideas and turn them into pieces of art! I’ve never felt more sexy and beautiful, and a little tempted to show strangers on the street my boudoir pictures! Susan has the best attitude and her enthusiasm is infectious. I had the most amazing time on the day of my shoot. I would recommend a shoot for everyone! It is a MUST!!! Susan makes you feel like a Queen for a day! Women tend to take care of everyone but ourselves, so take a day and make it all about you. Susan has a great personality, she is funny and she makes you feel so comfortable. You will feel like a model for the day. OMG she takes some slamming photos, she has definitely found her calling. I absolutely loved my photos from my shoot!
What an amazing experience this was!!! I found Susan online when I first heard of boudoir. I met with her and we clicked instantly. During our meeting, she was very thorough and descriptive where you felt very comfortable with her and her services. Shes very genuine and very knowledgable. At first this photoshoot was supposed to be just me, but I couldnt keep my mouth shut from surprising my husband, so I contacted Susan when he showed interest in joining. She was very happy and willing to have him join! The day was coming close, she contacted me via email to give directions of what to expect during this day. Being very shy and not open about my body due to my stretch marks, she was very understanding and it seemed like she didnt see the flaws that I saw within myself. Being all dolled up with hair and makeup helped too. They did an awesome job with that also. The photoshoot went very smoothly, she plays music of your choice and also controls the heat/air to make you comfortable. She catches you on beautiful angles that do not catch your flaws as much. Also what helped a ton in this process is that she directs you each and every way to pose for her. That helps when you are super shy and cant follow directions(LOL). During the time of reviewing my pictures, I barely even recognized myself!!! She did an amazing job with the shoot itself that she only had to alter my skin for the stretch marks and not because I looked fat. We received our book and it was the best part!!!!! The book is freaken amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can tell that Susan takes her time when she edits because her work is stunning!!! I didnt even recognize us!!! I would love to recommend Susan and her services to anybody who wants to give this a shot! Its worth EVERY penny!!!!!!
I wanted to do something special for my husbands 50th birthday. I contacted Susan to do a couples shoot. She is awesome. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. The pictures came out beautiful! We could barely narrow them down for our album. There were so many to choose from that we loved. I would absolutely recommend Susan to everyone. My husband said it was his best birthday gift ever!
I don’t exactly know how to address this review properly bc it is such an ineffable experience. Susan captured my moments beautifully and although I thought I’d be nervous, the moment I met her and interacted with her eased all negative thoughts. It was such an empowering experience; I’ve been telling all women that I know they must do this at least once in their life - not only for their significant other but for themselves! I also tell them that only Susan is the one they should entrust to capture their vulnerable moments. I can’t thank Susan enough for such great work and also for just being a confidante for that one day ❤️ I just received my gorgeous photo book - I can’t wait to give it to my husband just in time for Valentine’s Day! Just amazed! I was very nervous to do the shoot the day of and all of my nerves went away when I met Susan! My friend and I were both doing a shoot that day and we both felt so comfortable and relaxed. Susan was so much fun to work with (and Kelly too!). She communicated every step and how the shoot was going to go. Susan was so professional and helped me pose and really made me feel at ease! We were laughing and talking the whole time and it was just a great atmosphere to shoot in. I was so worried that is feel insecure being in lingerie in front of a camera but Susan has a way of just making you feel beautiful and really appreciating yourself for who you are. My friend felt the same way, we are still talking about how much fun we had. And thinking of our next shoot with Susan!
I sought Susan out to give my husband an anniversary gift. We were both blown away by her artistry and professionalism. The day of the shoot I felt like royalty, Susan made me feel at ease, comfortable and beautiful. She was able to capture the essence of who I am in a way that I was never able to see for myself. This was the most empowering thing I have ever done for myself, and I highly recommend that every woman book a shoot for herself at least once in her life! It was not just a gift for my husband, it was a gift to myself as well, and I am forever grateful to Susan for helping me to see myself as a beautiful woman. Her eyes for detail, beauty and feminine lines have truly changed my self-concept and the way I view myself. My husband said that this was the best gift he ever received. We have gone to fancy restaurants, stayed at world-class hotels for birthdays, etc. and he said this gift tops them all. He said its not just about the gift for him, but he was so happy that it was an amazing experience for me. In fact, he told me I should go back every year- I may take him up on that and book a shoot with Susan every year! I adore her and you will too!
Its not everyday I can say that I felt totally comfortable being naked in front of a stranger but during my boudoir session, I felt nothing but comfortable. Susan is great. She has a great overall attitude, makes you feel beautiful, and comes up with some great ideas. She is a talented artist. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my photo shoot and album and am counting down the days until i can give it to my hubby for our 7th wedding anniversary (and 3 kids later!).

What an amazing experience!! Susan is not only a talented photographer but also warm, engaging and now a new friend! If you have any kind of pre-shoot jitters she 100% helps to make you feel as if youre just there hang out and have a great time. I was looking for boudoir photography specifically for a professional studio and not just shot in my own home or in someone elses and she has the real deal. The studio has great natural light, lighting options, furniture props and plenty of privacy. I will forever sing Susans praises!!

Susan is by far the best photographer Ive ever worked with. She was the only photographer who asked me to call her on the phone to discuss exactly why I wanted to engage in a boudoir shoot and what I wanted to get out of it. During the shoot, she made me feel super comfortable, despite feeling total awkward and insecure. I have already recommended her to my friends. I would do 100 more shoots with her. I had the time of my life at Susans studio. I planned this photo shoot for my 50th birthday and wanted to surprise my husband with some boudoir pictures. Two words: DO IT! I could not recommend Susan and her company more! I did a boudoir shoot as a gift for my husband and, at the end of the day, it ended up being a gift for the both of us! Susan is so professional, and also has the unique ability to make the experience exhilarating, fun and comfortable all at the same time...which is important for people who are stepping out of their comfort zone. Her amazing personality is only paralleled by her incredible talent. The finished product came out better than I could have ever imagined (I purchased a book, which my husband and I are equally as obsessed with). The entire experience was one that I think every woman should have and Susan is just the right person for the job. I consider myself so lucky to have found such an incredible person who provided me with an unforgettable experience!

I really cannot even begin to describe how talented Susan is! I was recommended to her by a friend of mine who used her for a boudoir photo book as a gift for her now husband. My friend had showed me some of the pictures from her photo shoot and I knew instantly that I had to use Susan.She makes you feel so comfortable. Ive never done a photo shoot before so I had no idea what I was doing. She helps guide you on different poses and positions and just makes it look natural. The ambiance in itself is just very comfortable and does not make you feel awkward AT ALL.I chose to do all 4 sets (highest option). I got some picture off the internet and Pinterest as to what I was looking for. She took those pictures and created it through her own vision and really exceeded my expectations. You really get what you pay for when using a service like this. Ive seen some girls use the cheaper route and it well.. looks cheap. Everything Susan did was so professional, tasteful, sexy (but not too raunchy) and really just everything I couldve dreamed of.I am soooo excited to give my fiance his book on our wedding day. If you are looking for a boudoir photographer, then Susan is definitely the way to go! :)

I just want to say that Susan was one of the kindness, most professional photographers I have ever worked with. She was extremely flexible and open to every idea I had for my shoot. Did a maternity shoot with susan and had THE BEST experience. Its difficult to make a 7.5 month pregnant woman feel comfortable in her own skin yet Susan managed to do that and more. I never felt more beautiful in my life and Im obsessed with my prints. Cant wait to do an after shoot :)
I first read about Susans work in a Newsday article in 2010 and contacted her for a photoshoot. I then lost my nerve. Then I bugged her again in 2011. Then 3 kids and 7 years happened! I reached out to Susan in the September of 2017 and booked a photoshoot for my 34th birthday. Im a shy person by nature and by no means camera confident but for some reason I felt like Boudoir photos was something I had to cross off my bucket list, and I was kicking myself for not doing it 8 years earlier when I first thought of it. When I finally went I was so nervous I almost canceled- but Susan was so funny, warm, and friendly I was put at ease. From the minute you enter the studio you feel like youre at your best girlfriends house, getting glammed up and playing dress up for the day! Susan is super playful and funny- and even though Im sure I looked like an idiot at times she guided me through the pictures with tips, some hand holding and a whole lot of humor. The photos came out breathtaking- I was blushing at my own self... I cant wait to work with Susan again.... maybe a 40th Bday shoot it in my future. Give me a few more years to hit the gym. Getting photographed is probably one of the most scariest, uncomfortable things I could do. For someone like me, who has had three kids Im not exactly thrilled about my body. That was until Susan came into my life. From the second I walked in I felt amazing inside and out. You have no choice but to feel this way because her energy and excitement is contagious! It was an amazing day that I will never forget. As we did the shoot she complimented on how well I was doing, but it wasnt at all annoying or fake. I felt so comfortable with her, it was amazing!! Not only that, I want to give Susan the proper review she deserves.Short version:This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, because of this woman. If youre going to do this, there is no doubt Susan is the one to choose.Long version :Anyone who knows me would never think I would do something like this. Reserved and quiet. I definitely prefer minimal makeup and work out clothes over false eyelashes and lingerie. Regardless, I got this crazy idea in my head that my husband would love a boudoir album as a first anniversary gift, some professional photos to add to his private collection.The search for a photographer was painful. A hundred and one photographers in Manhattan and not ONE I was willing to trust enough and invest my time, money, and vulnerability in based on their websites and reviews. So I gave up the search for a while.As I continued to look for 1st anniversary ideas I kept this in the back of my head. And then one day I came across Susan. A photographer with 5 stars in every review (only because it was the highest possible rating according to her clients), in the New York area, in a beautiful studio, with a hair and makeup team...this was too good to be true, right? Wrong.Susan is a true gift. If her fun, energetic spirit, and infectious laugh isnt enough to hook you, her professionalism and passion for what she does certainly will. From first contact to post details, Susans got you every step of the way.She quickly responds to initial inquires with a phone call (not an email) so that you are fully informed and will get you booked right away. She follows up on what your vision is for the shoot, asks for inspiration pictures, outfits, tells you how to prepare day of, anything you need to feel comfortable and ready.Within seconds of meeting her theres a bond (I have no idea how she does this, she just does) and you are at ease. Any nerves you have are gone because shes immediately got you hysterically laughing and having fun. She shows you her plans and the sets she designs to match your vision, brings you into the changing room to lay out your stuff, and then the magic happens. She doesnt expect you to know what youre doing, understands how you are feeling, and is incredibly patient. Every pose is demonstrated, every look and move is narrated, she checks to make sure youre comfortable, gives feedback, all while getting to know you and making sure you are enjoying the experience. And then, just when you think this pretzel pose shes got you in cant ever possibly look good, she turns the camera and you are in awe of what you see...not the cellulite on your legs, not the stretch marks you hate, but she captures the true beauty you never thought youd see in yourself. You cant put a price on something like that.She follows up within a week to show you raw images and help you narrow down your favorites and you cant even believe its you that you are looking at. RAW images people and I could hardly narrow down enough to make the album, shes that good. She makes sure you are on the same page on pricing, touch ups, completion dates, etc.This woman is the real deal. I am so grateful for her talent and appreciate what she has given me. This started as a gift for my husband but ended up one of the most incredible experiences of my life. If you are on the fence or unsure if you can do this, I can only tell you that if you take the plunge you MUST do it with Susan!Thank you Susan, for all you do. I gave these pictures to my boyfriend for his birthday June 29th 2018. He was in absolute awe at the beauty of the pictures. They were so tastefully done yet romantic with a bit of spice. So I got married last September and a couple months before my wedding I decided to do a boudoir photo album to give to my husband as a wedding gift. As I am from NJ I did extensive research for a photographer within New Jersey and Manhattan. Unfortunalkey I could not find a photographer. Either their websites looked super cheesy (like glamour shots), or they werent responsive, or their studios looked small, simple, and even dark. Low and behold my wedding passed and I never got it done but the idea never left my mind. I started my search again in February because I thought it would make a great 1st anniversary gift for my husband...you know, the paper theme. Again I started my search and kept coming up with these same cheesy, amateur websites. Luckily a friend of a friend gave me Susans information. As I am from NJ I didnt think to search in Long Island.The miniute I saw her website I knew she was the one for me. Her website was professional and the pictures were amazing. I contacted her and she responded immediately answering all my questions. We emailed for the few weeks before the shoot discussing my attire and inspiration for the the shoot. When I got there she had an inspiration board made for me with pictures of my lingerie linked to my inspiration photos. This was a brilliant idea as it laid out the game plan for my shoot.Susan had a hair and make up artist waiting for me when I got there. I am very picky about my hair and even more so about my make up but she nailed it. She gave me pointers on shooting with Susan and helped calm my nerves. I am very camera shy but about 5 minutes into the shoot with Susan all that had vanished. She talked me through posing, wehre to put my hand, how to hold my head, to point my toe, where to place my eyes, etc. This is all very important when your trying to look sexy and have no idea what your doing lol. She even picked up on things I did when in front of a camera like tightening up my face muscles and she pointed it out to me and kept reminding me to breath and lose tension in my face. As the shoot went on Susan directed me so well that I was actually getting it and doing everything on my own. She was absolutely amazing, she was climbing on ladders, rolling lights, around, switching cameras, laying on the floor to get the best angle, all while keeping me laughing and feeling comfortable.Her studio was unbelievable, she had every scene in there....the white bed, the plush velvety couches, the romantic make up vanity, the bright open windows, etc....she really used the whole studio to transform different settings. She also provided me with beautiful pearl necklaces and bracelets for a shoot I envisioned. Before I knew it the shoot was over and when I left I called all my friends and couldnt stop talking about it.I just had my meeting with her to go over the proofs and I was ecstatic. I loved all my pictures, I really could not get over how they looked. I thought I was only getting a small album but ended up picking the one with the most pictures because I didnt want to get rid of any. Susan really captured my vision. I wanted this album to be soft yet soultry, sexy but tasteful, and she truly bought my vision to life. Susan really has a gift for this type of photography and it was worth my long journey from Jersey out to Long Island. If any one is considering doing this I say to you that you only get one shot so do it right. This is a timeless gift and You want to look back at these photos one day when you are 80 and think oh my god, I was really beautiful Susan is genuinely gifted and I am so greatful that I found her. I cant wait to see my husbands face when he opens his anniversary gift. Thank you so much Susan!!!!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Susan of Long Island Boudoir photography. I feel like women are 50/50 when it comes to doing a boudoir shoot - women either love it and can’t wait and others want to do it, but are nervous as they don’t think they have what it takes to come out how every other woman does...truth be told, I was one of those on the fence woman and I can say....it was the best thing I did for myself!!! Susan makes you feel so comfortable, helps you pose, and I left there actually having so much fun!!!! She was so patient, didn’t rush me - not during the shoot or during our review session. Words are not enough to describe the amazing experience I had when I decided...finally..after years of making excuses to finally do this. I finally decided to do the shoot for my husbands birthday, but by the end I realized that it was more for me. After following LIBP IG for many months, I finally worked up the courage to just reach out and ask some questions. This is something I have always wanted to do and just never got up the nerve to just go for it. (After what felt like a confidence crushing year prior, I felt I needed a “reset“.)Susan was so quick to respond and call me back. I had a rough pregnancy in 2014. In the end, though my husband and I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Abigail. Our first love. Now you may say what is a “rough pregnancy” for me? Well, let me tell you, I became pregnant after 3 surgeries from fibroid and scar removal, THEN I had SEVERE morning sickness where I had to be put on bed rest for two weeks. During those two weeks a nurse administered an I.V. because I was dangerously dehydrated for three days & a zophran pak inserted in my stomach to assist with nausea for about a week. Originally we were expecting twins, but lost one in my 2 month. Couldn’t become depressed since I had one with a very strong heartbeat. Then when we thought the worst was over, developed placenta acreta (placenta attached to a scar) which lead to an early C-section delivery AND surgery for the placenta acreta. Difficult right? But then………At my 7 month mark because I was having such a difficult time I decided to do a very intimate pregnancy photo shoot and was referred to Susan Eckert and GURL let me say, I am so glad I was referred to this AMAZING artist. She was so personable, loving and open. It was like I known her for years. She made my whole pregnancy feel so amazing. I look at the photos she did about twice a month. It just brings me back to WHY I wanted to bear children. It is definitely a priceless gift that GOD gives to a woman and Susan Eckert just had me embrace the pathway to life caught on film. From the rough time I endured the last 6 and half months, was like it never happened. I will defiantly do more shoots with her in the future. 2021-10-19Susan is the most incredible talented and extremely professional photographer I have ever met in my life. not only does she make you feel calm and comfortable she plans everything that you want even when you don’t know exactly what it is that you want. I went into her studio shaking I was so nervous but the second I met her I knew it was gonna be great! starting from the make up to switching outfits and ending up being with her the entire day picking out pictures I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and experience!!! I also had a problem picking out outfits and she had referred me to her friend who helped me pick out every outfit that I needed. whatever I needed and whatever I was nervous about Susan made all my nerves go away and everything perfect!! we connected on many other levels also not only for the shoot and she made me feel so comfortable about everything that was going on in my life. she honestly became sort of a friend that I felt comfortable going to for other things than photography. she’s the most amazing person, mother and photographer and I would refer her to anyone that I know. I can’t wait to go back and do another shoot!! ❤️❤️❤️

It’s not just having your photo taken, but creating and making you feel like a beautiful piece of art. Her warm energy put my anxious mind at ease straight away.I had Kelly do my hair and makeup. She was incredible at bringing out my features that were highlighted in the photos. Truly recommend both.Never thought I’d do something like this, but I loved it so much. When I went to her studio to do the photo shoot it was as if we were old friends from way back! She had everything ready and waiting. She made me feel and look like a million bucks! 2022-02-10I booked a boudoir shoot with Susan as a wedding gift for my fiancé (and for myself ☺️). Oh my gosh! What can I say about Susan that hasn’t been said? To be around her is nourishing. To work with her is magic. To be photographed by Susan transforms you into art, into beauty, into how you’ve always deserved to feel about yourself. I broke into tears on my drive home. I never felt a soul-deep type of beautiful, nor carried such gratitude for my body—but I had and have since that day. Susan is professional yet personable, funny and warm, beyond talented and creative. The entire process, and connection, were seamless. I swear I already have Susan withdrawal! 2021-10-17I’m super late to the game on posting a review. I did a shoot with Susan a few years ago as a surprise for my Husband. Susan is an absolute joy to work with. She’s incredibly personable and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet her. The attention to detail she has is immaculate. Every time I pull out my album like tonight, I’m just in awe. The photos are just amazing and leave me speechless and of course my husband LOVED them. I really would love to do another down the road again maybe a maternity version. Who knows?! But I know when I do that I will have another amazing session because she’s just amazing. 100000million percent recommend.

2021-07-03I had seen Groupon adds during the holiday about boudior photo shoots. I bought the Groupon not knowing what was this was all about. I started researching different photographers and their stories behind their work. I decided to leave an email for Susan because of everything that resonated with me.I had lost myself after my daughter passed away. I needed to find that woman that went away with her daughter.This is more about looks to me. It’s to tap into my inner beauty and light and love.I felt so empowered as woman, a mother and the part of my that I lost.From the moment I spoke to Susan on the phone to talk about what the photo sessions are like, she calmed my nerves and reassured me. This was the best experience for me because I found more of myself that I had lost. These pictures represent strength, inner beauty and the growth in my life. I’m a survivor and Susan, you were placed in my life for a reason.We all go through trials and tribulations … it’s up to us to navigate the vessel. My advice to you ladies - DO IT! Stop putting yourselves last, ladies. Embrace all of our imperfections because that’s what makes you beautiful. Be you and make the appointment ❤️P.S. I never used the Groupon. You can’t measure quality over quantity. Susan is an artist, so creative and talented. Xoxo

2021-09-15Susan is a GIFTED ARTIST and an AMAZING woman!!! We had an instant connection and she made me feel comfortable from the very start! As a woman in my late 40’s this session made me feel Beautiful, Sexy & Empowered!!! Susan captured and interpreted my vision completely!! I am absolutely OBSESSED with my photos.
