This place is amazing. I was in the ICU, and then on a medical floor for 10 days. The entire staff genuinely made me feel like I was in very good hands. The nurses were attentive, usually taking care of small things before I asked (such as a refill of my water pitcher, fresh gown, or a bedding change)... and if I did have an urgent need, they were there within 2 minutes (if not less) of pushing the call button. The food was better than expected, and definitely want your typical hospital food. While I dont wish an extended hospital stay on anyone, if you have a choice of where to go..go to LIJ.
Three years ago, my wife had a urinary tract infection and had severe bleeding in her urine. I took her to the emergency room of this hospital. After being treated by doctors and nurses, her symptoms were relieved that night and she was able to go home safely. My wife and I are very grateful for their careful treatment.
My experiences in the ED were quick and efficient. Despite the lack of space, the staff manage the volume very well. I was sent to the intake area and was in and out very quickly. I received my covid swab results via text and email, so I didnt have to stay and wait for them.
Ive been hereAlmost a month the doctors and speacialy the nurses are so nice and wonderful to be with. they go through so much a day but when you need something they are always there with a smile. I love them so much. I recieved all my labor & delivery and post delivery care from here. My experience has been amazing. ESPECIALLY the post delivery ward. The entire staff had been AMAZING! The rooms were clean and the food was good aswell. My entire duration at the hospital was super duper comfortable and satisfactory 👍👍👍
What a amazing experience! I gave birth to my son at this hospital and everything from checking in to leaving was awesome ! The whole staff from front desk to nurses and doctors were all very professional and extremely kind and the room was super comfy and they treated me and my baby with so much care! I will recommend to everyone thank you Northwell
This is a wonderful hospital! Great service, great people great staff. I gave birth to my first child on November 28th 2021. From the moment I walked in I was very well taken care of. The maternity ward, the nurses were great around the clock. My family wants to give upmost gratitude to the maternity nurses specially to Irina Fuzaylova & Devena who were my coaches. They made me feel welcomed, at ease, and went to the extreme to make sure our baby and I were in the best of care. Devena was amazing, she wouldn’t leave until my baby was born and nurse Irina was my mentor of guiding me as a first time mother. I highly recommend this hospital. And once again thank you from Idalia, charles and baby Allyson Grace!
Wonderful delivery room! Amazing staff. Medical staff does their best at making you feel comfortable. I had two babies here and if i had a third I would definitely come back. Food was also delicious and filling. My one complaint was the anesthesiologist. He had no bedside manners and was very rude to the nurse assisting him.
I can’t thank you enough for the fantastic service provided by Forest Hills Food & Nutrition and all the Maternity and Labor Department team. I was already nervous about what to expect for the care of my wife, but everyone in the hospital made us feel at home, cared for, and treated with love and dedication. My family and I are deeply grateful. Johana and Giovanny and our newborn baby, Santiago. Blessings.
When I first came it was around 4:00pm. As soon as I walked in a patient was cursing someone out in the front desk for having terrible bedside manner. So I knew I was in for a run . Now it’s 7:00pm I still haven’t been seen by a nurse or doctor Only by registration. I keep being told I will be seen with attitudes and all. I was strangled my throat is fracture I just wanted to receive help. This is one of the most unprofessional hospital I ever been to. The emergency room was filthy the floors dirty , beds not even changed . I will never come back to this hospital even if my life depends on it .
Very bad experience, my brother went to with broken wrist with pain and they didn’t even bother themselves because he was alone and he was underage(17y.o). he requested patient care before we come but they didn’t approve. Lady in the front was very rude to us. plus we waited almost two hours to be seen by the doctor, they did x ray and the wrist was dislocated and broken it took other one hour to decide what they gonna do. if you have emergency situation never go there even if you go with heart attack they gonna request you to wait in the waiting area until they gonna call you.
I gave birth on May 1st to my beautiful baby girl and it was natural, my experience....I came in because my water broke at 36 weeks and when I arrived I was assisted to L&D and was able to have a variety of kind, devoted and compassionate nurses 💖 and doctors working together to ensure that my labor was successful, less painful and healthy. My baby girl was born weeks early and didnt even need to be in NICU, my sugar and Hypertension was closely monitored and the nurses ensured that I was ok, safe and happy. I am very glad I came to Forest hills for my delivery and I would recommend 👌 anyone else to come if they had an option. I left there with no worries. P.s my forms/discharge papers/ and revised prescriptions were filled out and ready by day 3 and I left knowing my child had a pediatric follow up as well with one of their best doctors.
I went to the emergency room with my mother who was in severe pain today. We were seen by a attending physician named Lau Joe, he was being very dismissive. I did not like his attitude towards us and his responses. He wouldnt even let me finish my sentence and would start talking. As a healthcare worker, like I am myself, I know you are supposed to always put your patients needs first and comfort them. Even if you think there isnt any real issue, you are supposed to respect and listen to your patient. If you cant do that or put your personal problems aside, you shouldnt be in the medical field. Do better Doctor Lau!
Usually have had a decent experience here. However, it has been 4 hours now with my grandmother in the ER and still no doctor has seen her. It is now nearly 2am, I asked if theres a vending machine that I could go to. Receptionist directs me to the main entrance, so I went. When I get there the security guard tells me vending machines are for employees and patients only... how the hell my diabetic 85 y/o grandmother gna get up outta the stretcher walk around the corner in her ER gown to get herself something to eat? How ridiculous is that? Wow, Northwell, wow. How disappointing.
We had our two children at Katz Women but this time we decided to try LIJ Forest Hills and it was probably the best decision. Nurses and doctors were very professional and attentive. They took really good care before and after the delivery. All the staff and nurses made us feel very special. Food was good and Halal options were also available. They also treat with celebration dinner. Overall it was a great experience.Thank you LIJ Forest Hill for making the experience memorable for us.
My wifes water broke at 5 am on Thursday, May 12. Emma was born the next day at noon. After a long labor and our postpartum stay, they checked us out on Sunday at noon. Despite the fact that I consider myself an easy to please person, I also understand that I am an in your face, hands-on and in your feet personality type. The following staff members (Drs-NRs-RNs-PAs-MAs) were not only kind, compassionate, and professional but extremely humane and patient in verbally and physically explaining all the procedures, machines, and processes. (3rd Floor) Thank you Rimarachi, Khokhar, Mary, Irena, Tamara, Sharon, Vidya, Eileen*, Cheryl, and Heather. These are the names our pregnancy-brain remembers, if we forgot your name, we apologize but know we THANK YOU ALL. See you for baby #2!! :)
Its unfortunate that the first encounter you get at this hospital when you are trying to visit a sick loved one you have to deal with RUDE, UNPROFESSIONALISM AND LACK OF EMPATHY. The face of this hospital (security agents) need customer service training. They are rude and have a demeaning tone of voice. This hospital needs to do better.
Front desk clerk and triage nurse were nice, caring, efficient. Inside is a different story. Nurses go by. Not one doctor to be seen. Rooms are beds in a hallway with a curtain. Once patients next to me left, no one came to change the sheets or sanitize the beds. Worse than horrible.
“Everyone was very nice, and it is nice to be treated well since you are the patient in need of help. Caring, smiling and laughing is good atmosphere for patients. I will continue to come here. I was very well taken care of.”. Thanks to RN Ms. Irina, RN Ms. Jissamma, Ms. Divya @Northwell jewish Hospital Forest Hills, Queens, NYC
This hospital charged me with some services I did not receive. They only care about money because they hire debt collector to try to call you everyday to get the money instead of fixing the error. Moreover, the case manager was transferred to other department so I had to wait for them maybe another week to resolve this issue. In the meantime they will probably send 100 mails to me.
Worst service ever. I took my 72 years old mother in law in the ER at 9:30 am and then gave me a number to call them to contact with the Doctor or nurse to get update. It’s 5:20pm and they didn’t have her any food and drink, she was starving. I called them in the number several times but just to connect with someone it took 45 minutes on hold on the line and when I got connected they say we don’t have any update yet to tell you about her..I went again in the front desk to ask and the lady sitting there started shouting on me saying that she can’t give me any information . I should call the number and get the update. I said I can’t get any info from the number and she replied she can’t help with anything, someone will call you..And I’m still waiting outside. No clue what to do? Don’t have any idea what kind of service is that?? Worst hospital experience ever..!!
If you can get Alice as a nurse, God has blessed you. I waited hours for a saline bag of water, and a pitcher of ice while waiting for Covid holding room for hours. The dr in emergency room, Nathaniel Atyalu, Tanesh Singh, Nerraj amalgam, Rishi who worked with nurse Alice, and dr on 4 South ( Dr. Borochov are deserving of all stars. They started Covid treatment in lieu of sending me home. These are heroes! I was sent home previously after being isolated with covid positive patients to wait for Covid status. I am thankful for their care and medical professionalism. Although, it was busy, they performed as medical staff l was fortunate and blessed enough to be supervised by. Thank you!
Worked there for 4 years and was a PT twice. Excellent all around. World class organization. Radiology staff was extremely informative and pleasant. They even expedited a request for me as an inpatient to get scanned quicker without having to wait since surgery was emergent.
Nurse Tamar (I hope I spelled that correctly) was amazing. The woman was juggling a three ring circus in our delivery room and she never skipped a beat Tamar was attentive and caring. She answered every question with patience and made my wife feel very comfortable If we had the means she would be our own private nurse. Thank you Tamar!! We love you!!
If you want to be bullied into having a c section come here. I have well controlled gestational diabetes, was trying for a VBAC (my first son was breech. the c section was a horrible experience). I thought my water broke, (false alarm) 11/8 is my due date was told by the attending that they would only offer a c section, nothing else. They kept telling me about the risks but could not give me a percentage of the risk. They based their medical advice on the risks but not my specific case. My baby is not large (7 lbs) he is position, 21 months has passed between deliveries (18 is the minimum for a Vbac) my sugars are well controlled. They tried to scare me by stressing me out and checking my sugar, it was 77. They sent a first day student to set up a nonstress test, he was having difficulty finding my babies heartbeat. I know my son is fine because though the student could not find his heartbeat he was moving. I was about to relent and accept the c section when I noticed that the non stress test wasn’t recording my baby’s heartbeat (the student asked the PA how to start recording and she told him that it would begin automatically. The attending stated that he would not let me go, so I asked him if he would restrain me. I will never go to any Northwell anything. If I could give zero stars I would!UPDATE: Went to NYU Langone, one of BEST DECÍS I HAVE EVER MADE! They listened and worked with me to make the best medical decisions for myself and my baby. He was born via vaginal delivery, without complications. They allowed my son and I to bond right away, and performed delayed cord clamping. After he was born multiple nurses helped me breastfed so that my son could latch properly. My experience could not have been better.
Dr. Tang is amazing. Kind and compassionate, Also another nurse, petite with long blonde hair was so kind and reassuring. While waiting for a Dr to come, I watched another Dr on his phone for one hour and talking to another man about a million dollar investment. Not sure if he was on a break but he was very unprofessional. He had a beard and with a very short haircut. Thank you again Dr. Tang. You are extremely dedicated. Dr. Tang gets 5 stars from me
Wow! How can I type A M A Z I N G! I have to say what a beautiful & professional experience with all the staff from Doctor Cullota, Nurse Abigail who was so sweet, supportive and attentive. I mean every single nurse I encounter very professional. Clean and beautiful facility amazing food which by the way I never eat but this time it was so delicious. If I can give the staff and hospital a 10+ and beyond I will. Thank you to all the HEROES (staff). I will definitely recommend having your baby here the LABOR AND DELIVERY STAFF ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.Thank you again! 🎊🎉🎊🧸🧸🧸🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Worst Hospital Ever!!!!! My mother got her surgery here 11/04/2021, they first said the appointment was at 9:00 and they did her surgery at 1:30pm. I kept on calling the nurse and they said they can’t tell me the update on my mom because of the hippa rule even though I was authorized to know her condition so was my dad. I came to visit and fully vaccinated. The nurse stated three visitors a day, security card name Jose M said only one person a day. I never heard this thing where one visitor a day even during the pandemic. Staff and nurse was so rude and customer service sucked. The doctor said the surgery was done at 3:30 and the doctor let us know at 7 that her surgery was done at 3:30’pm. I’ll never recommend this hospital. LIJ In manhasset is a lot better then this garbage place
The staff at the maternity ward is very nice, but they are very understaffed.I had my baby in May. I had gone there with contractions and asking for an epidural, was admitted at 2:30am and didnt get it until 10:30am! Throughout the labor I was told I was going to get checked in an hour, and I had to keep calling the nurses to get checked because 2+ hours had passed by.If they would have had more staff working, things would have ran more smoothly and it would have been a better experience for me. Being this my first baby, not sure if I would like to deliver there again.
They take a long time to see you and once the nurse sees you the dr can take an hour or two or longer to come evaluate you..I dont recommend going there.elmhurst and Jamaica hosp are worse..I go to city MD and they are by far the better choice you are in and out in an hour or two..
Last night I took my 2 kids to the hospital and the service was amazing from the nurse Salin Mathew to the doctor and even the other staff members. Everyone was very accommodating and there to help me while my children got the best care 3am in the morning. As mother of 3 it is refreshing to know that there are amazing people out there that do not care about religion, gender, ethnicity or any other difference that can separate us.It was simple, I was in need of help and they helped me and my children. I really appreciate it and am forever indebted.Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
The labor & delivery & The New life Center unit was amazing ! From the moment I walked in they were so attentive, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I’am a first time mother who did not know what to expect and they eased my anxiety the whole through the process. Everything was clean and the food was delicious. They even had a pediatrician come, check on my daughter & schedule a follow up visit. Also, they have the lactation nurse, the Case workers help you fill out birth certificates & social security card application and WIC Application as well( if need). The recovery room were comfortable, own bathroom, automatic WiFi, cable and every time I ring for the nurse someone showed up promptly. I could definitely go on and on about my wonderful experience but I think pretty much detailed how I felt like I was at 5 start retreat lol . I would definitely recommend soon to be mother’s this hospital for labor and delivery.
My wife had thyroid removal here two days ago and for discharge the same day, and tonight we had to rush to the emergency because she wasn’t feeling good; they got her in and left me waiting for hours without telling me anything and out if nowhere two security guards came to kick me out of the waiting area, in the emergency room, they wanted me to wait on the streets or just leave without knowing anything about my wife... nobody said anything just wanted me to not be thereCalled to the hospital to get any information and the person on the phone was super rude, not helpful at all, didn’t have any information and even I told him I needed information about my wife he asked how was I related to her...what a horrible experience on a critical moment.
Late physician who was a ghost. Laid there in Er for 8 hours with ruptured ovary cysts and blood lingering inside. With a ob/gyn unit I should have been admitted and not discharged(same day) until urinalysis came back as well. Instead, 2 days later I was called with results which revealed infection and bacteria. Cscan revealed more than just ovarian cysts. Even more of a reason to leave with a full plan of care and monitoring as inpatient. More attention given to a mental patient who was there the day before with alzheimers. Will not recommend to anyone in distress or emergency situation at all. The only team member who had the right work ethic and compassion was male nursing manager. Female nurse in my care could care less. She had too many patients on her watch. No pillow offering. No gown. Glad I wore a dress and no undergarments. Maybe if I hollered at the top of my lungs to display my pain staff wouldve took me serious.
I came to this hospital to be scheduled to be induced for labor of my first child, and the admitting triage nurse in the New Life Center at the time was absolutely rude to me and toward others and basically said to me that they are packed with patients and even though I’m scheduled and already at 1 cm on arrival that I should come back in a few days. Then I overheard her tell a trainee nurse that she didn’t want to admit me in that night cause it was overwhelming. (Imagine how I was feeling). My doctor was contacted and had to stress the reasons why I was scheduled for that night to the labor n delivery doctor on call that night. After being told that I needed to be admitted, that triage nurse had a bad attitude with me and basically snapped at me as she showed me my room. Once I had a moment by myself after she left I just cried and wish I went somewhere else. However, from that point forward, every staff member I encountered was remarkably amazing n attentive to me. Wanting to give more stars. Two of my favorites were RN Daniella and RN Blessing. They were my angels. I had to have an emergency c-section because the umbilical cord was wrapped 3 times around baby neck, and even though that is an experience in itself, I felt very secure with the pleasant staff that surrounded me until my discharge 48 hours later. The rooms are 5 stars and seems to be the best compared to other hospitals and would recommend this hospital to anyone. Small on the outside but the hearts of majority of the nurses are huge. The hospital’s COVID-19 precautions and procedures provided for a safe environment for all the patient’s. I am in the process of filing a complaint against the triage nurse that didn’t want to admit me in the beginning. We all have bad days but her negativity and attitude was just unacceptable.
Worst hospital , they don’t care about the patients. I took my 7 years old boy in the mid of night because of diarrhea and vomiting, they just give the IV fluids and nothing else, the problem is still there and the staff and doctor are not bothered by anything.Dont go to this hospital
They give the worse type of help. Yesterday I went to the ER because I had a clogg in my ear and pain and the Doctor said it’s allergies when it’s not that. I am still left with pain and clogged ears and they hurt every second. I would not recommend anyone to go to the ER here because you will not find any type of care. On top of that the nurse and doctors were walking around not even checking up on patients. Shows the lack of human care
I had a great and very fast service experience from Long Island Jewish Forest Hills! Thank you for all staff! We went there with my 8yo son due to his head injury, we walked in ~10.40pm, gave ID and insurance, in 3 minutes we’ve been asked for the initial check up, all took like 10 minutes (they measured blood pressure, height, weight, asked all questions how did the trauma happened. They they told to wait until bed is ready, we were waiting ~ 10 min, after were asked to the main room with beds and we’ve been waiting for a Doctor about 10 min, Everyone was so polite and friendly, wanted to help. Doctor came in, did examined him for ~ 20 min, asked all questions and provided with recommendations. Then we were waiting for our dismissal documents another 10 min and we were dismissed home around 12am! Fast, efficient, caregiving! Thanks again to all staff that I slept well last night:)
Second Emergancy visit for my pregnancy. At 13 weeks I was left in the regular emergency room because they only let you into the prenatal emergency at 20 weeks. I was ignored and had to go looking for staff to get answers and was constantly told sorry we forgot about you. At 29 weeks my next emergency I was allowed upstairs to be left in a room and be talked down by a nurse. When in sono the woman who gave me the sono was rude as well. My doctor is affiliated with this hospital which is why I went there. But she advised at my follow up that I am not her only expecting mom complaining about the care given here.
ER is terrible. Skeleton crew. Very uncaring, not empathetic at all. I was told I needed to be admitted by a nurse. Doctor never spoke to me to explain why. After many hours of poor treatment I felt I was safer going home. The ER finally called left a message last night and said we have a bed if you want to come back. I tried to call back to get a result and why they want to admit me but I kept getting disconnected last night. I called the ER today and specifically spoke to Cheryl T. and asked why they wanted to admit me. Cheryl T. Said I am not going to stop someone to look at your record call during the week. Hopefully I won’t be dead by than. Thanks for charging me and my insurance company for NOTHING!!!
My 93 yo mother was brought to this hospital as an emergency. She was admitted and remained for one week. During that period of time she was treated for congestive heart failure and had excessive fluid in her right lung. She was medically treated with Lasix and a procedure was done to remove excess fluid from her right lung. During this period she praised the hospital, doctors, nurses and the staff. She is home now and states that LIJ hospital is fantastic and has caring nurses that are responsive and friendly. Plus she raved about the food, the quality and the variety. Just plain awesome. thank you LIJ hospital for taking care of my mom.
I have gone to this hospital now several times, always to the ER. I cant say anything bad about anyone, Everyone was always friendly and very helpful. The nurses have a sense of humor. I never have to wait around long or get the run-a-rounds. I like this place and intend to come back here anytime I need something. Special thanks to NP Andrew Neploch and the stuff around him.
DONT COME to this hospital. The ICU here is a death sentence and my father died here after being admitted due to COVID. After asking if shes seen any miracles, a doctor clearly told us not in this ICU. Overall, the ICU doctors were inconsistent and incompetent. Most of them were student residents who were young and not experienced. They shouldnt be handling severe covid cases. They made a series of random errors and blips in communication. In one instance, the attending physician said she heard we spoke to our father. But we hadnt spoken to him that day. She said repeatedly she thought we did because the nurse told her that we spoke for a little bit. This was untrue. At one point, they said they wouldnt give my dad breakfast because they didnt have enough staff at night which didnt make sense.Perhaps the biggest error was claiming that my father was put on the ventilator 3 days ago when he was put on it one day ago. We had spoken to him a day before and the doctors called us for permission. It would literally be impossible for him to be put on the vent earlier without our consent. How does one make such a large error? The attending physician said it was a misunderstanding, but this is certainly a careless and grave one. Finally, a resident doctor named Dr. Ariba Akhund said they did some adjustments on the ventilator because the pressures were high and they didnt want that. They changed it to pressure control to make it more suitable for the patient. I understand that a patients condition rapidly changes, but two doctors previously just hours before claimed that everything was normal and stable. It makes you question the teams capabilities; maybe they arent properly trained to use a ventilator. It is of utmost importance to have trained critical care physicians properly set up the ventilator. My father was on a paralytic to help with proning, but they werent proning him because he was too unstable. Then why would one continue with the paralytic ? This wasnt explained to us beforehand. We were only told a day after that a paralytic was given at all. A doctor (Dr. Akhund) also claimed that there was a little bit of improvement; I was keenly aware that the improvement wasnt much and there was a long way to go. However, when I mentioned this in person to another attending physician, Dr. Akhund looked at him and shook her head in disbelief as if to imply that I was lying.Overall, the doctors would contradict each other. There were several different doctors each week. One doctor said they cant say my fathers blood pressure is stable because hes using two pressers, which indicates that the BP is not stable at all. Another doctor said that his BP is stable now with the pressers and everything was stable. These subtle changes and definitions are confusing and contradictory. On the day of my fathers death, they didnt update us directly. We called them and they told us the situation was grave and that we had to come there as soon as we could. Why didnt someone inform us that the situation had gotten to this point beforehand? How long would we have had to wait to find out if we didnt call at that time? Usually, they tell us to call after 2pm, but my mom just had an inkling and chose to call earlier. It was still the hospitals responsibility to inform us on their own that the situation was grave. They had done this 2 days earlier in the middle of the night.I will mourn my father every day of my life. I am so disappointed, horrified, and shocked by this hospitals ICU unit and conduct.
So, this is our 3rd time having a child and this is our first time having our child here at NSFH. I have to admit we thought we had gotten some great customer service from the L&D dept at the other hospital till now. WOW! I tell you the compassion and dedication that we encountered by every single employee was just extraordinary! Considering all the covid-19 restrictions and precautions they have in place they definitely went above and beyond to bring some normalcy into what is going on in this pandemic world. I honestly have no complaints at all! I wish I would have gotten every single persons name to write a letter of recommendation and applause the administration for how wonderful their staff was.Only word of advise i would give any man planning on being present for the birth and staying at the hospital is the protocols they have in place are solid. So, make sure you pack a bag as well as for the baby and mother to with any essential items you may need as you wont be allowed outside the building for any reason! If you do leave the building you wont be allowed back in.
We arrived at hospital on Tuesday at noon, soon as we walked in we were send on third floor in labor and delivery department. I checked in and 15 min later I was sent in delivery room. There I spent next 8 hours where I was given fluids and I was hooked on a monitor. My first delivery nurse was Cheryl. She was very sweet and attentive. Shift ended at 7pm and the new crew came to the floor. I was fortunate to have Latoya as my nurse during my labor. She was very supportive and professional. When I was getting my epidural I was in a lot of pain and she was there to comfort me. She was checking on me during the night till 7am when shift ended and new crew came along. I feel bad she didn’t get to see my baby boy.Once the new crew came I was getting prepared to deliver. Delivery started around 7:30 and my baby boy was there in 8:07. There were couple of nurses and the doctor there encouraging me during delivery. (I’m sorry I don’t remember anybody’s name, but everyone was super professional and supportive and helpful)Delivery doctor was a true professional and made me feel comfortable and safe. Soon as I deliver my baby boy they wiped him and put him on my chest for an hour or so. After that he was taken for measurements and I was prepared for postpartum wing.Three of us got to our room , it was only us in there and was pretty cozy and comfortable. We met with our nurse Brenda Wilson and she was with us most of the time being there , Brenda was a shining star of the hospital , so professional , informative, comforting, caring ,helpful and loving ! (Thank you Brenda ♥️)We also met with our lactation consultant Lorraine , and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in her field , made us feel so safe and confident.I don’t know any names in a housekeeping department but they all where loving and caring ,we had celebratory dinner and it was delicious, thanks again to kitchen stuff ,Thursday after noon we where discharged , Brenda was with us till we reached our car to make sure we got out ok.Over all experience was a great one and we are definitely coming back if we get lucky again 😊.THANK YOU ALL !
This is my 2nd time having a child but first time here to delivered my daughter in this hospital on june24/2021thursday.i would like to thanks all the staffs from inner core of my heart🙏🙏all the nurses doctors are so nice & friendly.they caring me & my baby alot & the rooms also net & clean..& the food was delicious 😋. I gorget the name of two nurses who taking care of me alot like my parents thank you so much.🙏🙏🙏❤❤.
This hospital is what you call nightmare. The treatment is so poor. The staff and the nurse are disrespectful. They don’t care about your health. I went there for my delivery and received a terrible treatment. The nurses are extremely rude. The have no coordination with doctor and without it they started to treat me. I was a high risk patient but they treat me as regular patient. I had a very bad delivery experience. I would never going back to that place agin and would recommend all who’s reading this review avoid this hospital at any cost. I am so angry that I am thinking to go to a local news paper and media service to share my detail horrible experiences.
If only I could rate this hospital 0 STARS that would be awesome. I guarantee that all the positive reviews are from bots or from super rich people with authority.I came in on DEC 14 to get a cut stitched up. The doctor was acting very weird. He looked super thin and acted very hyper. I dont want to say for sure but it looked like he was on coke.I waited
This hospital needs to pay more DETAILED attention to their patients especially those that are in I.C.U. I had on two occasions seen negligence with my own mother where the nurses nor the doctors pay attention to the most important areas such as making sure the patient has 24 hour access to their Nurses Call Button. My mom was experiencing body convulsions and she was trying to press a button that didnt exist on her breathing tube because the Nurses Call Button was rolled up on the wall behind her bed TWICE!! I went off at the nurse on duty and the doctors. I also made sure they knew who I was and my background. When they found out I was a Med Mal Paralegal and left my card, thing changed real quick. This hospital also comes up with convenient excuses of an emergency that came up that took priority over a procedure my mom needed. HELLO!!!!! Hospitals have emergencies all the time ESPECIALLY with this COVID crisis and you got through it!!I have documented everything, have doctors/nurses/attending physicians/specialists, etc names and numbers along with conversation recordings and photos. I will be filing a med-mal suit should anything happen and as long as I live and breath on Gods green earth, I will make it my business to expose this hospital.Im putting this hospital on OFFICIAL NOTICE!!
My husband was sick and was admitted to the hospital on Monday. I call my husband every day. Doctors, nurses, and everyone who cares for her husband say they are kind. My husband says he feels comfortable in mind and body in the hospital. Then my mind is also relaxed. We sincerely thank everyone who has done their best for treatment and stability. When my husband Woojins health recovers, I want to go to the hospital and say thank you. Thank you to everyone who works in the hospital.
They need extra staff in this ER. They tried to discharge me while running fever with chills and elevated pressure. I had to asked for a COVID test which came back detected abnormal. Thank you for the lady that took me to get my CT scan. She was the only one that made me feel like I wasn’t forgotten.
The food wasn’t good at all but what makes up for it are the nurses and housekeepers in the birth center only. All the nurses were very helpful during my stay there after a c section. Alla and Susan were the best of all! Very kind and caring. The housekeeper Rosa was also very sweet and friendly every time she came to clean. I’m not sure if I can say the same about the doctors and the emergency room. Doctors were all very mean and don’t bother explaining. Admitting office woman made a mistake with my paper and denied even after I had the proof that she was lying. Emergency room was a mess out of all. People were all scattered like homeless and everything was very dirty. Doctors in the emergency were just relaxing and chatting while patients were all waiting for them in pain. People were kept on the stretcher in the hallway but none was being helped. I can tell that someone will sue this hospital one day because of the amount of under qualified doctors and nurses.
Great care! I was scheduled for labor induction and was at the hospital for 2 days in total. The nurses were great, especially RN Nicole that was during the labor assisting Dr.Gaweda. She was very kind and for sure deserves promotion and midwife of the month!!!Same with the nurses on the recovery side, very nice. Thank you!
I been here for few hours already with my mother, she is 92 years old, she fell at home and maybe she is broke her hip.. I been asking for help to change her pampers and they said is not pampers here, the nurse is very rude and not help.. I told her my mom pull the Cable for the blood and she don’t even mentioned to help and she is a registered nurse ... I just ask her for help and she turn out .. worst experience today so sad.
This place is great! My father recently had appendicitis, and their care for him in the hospital was wonderful! All the nurses and doctors were so nice and friendly. Thankfully it wasnt very busy there so they were able to treat him personally very often with his every need. They came in very often to check up on him as well. His laparoscopic surgery went well, I wish we had gone sooner so it wouldnt have burst. He was there about a week and a half. He is now back home happy and healthy! Thank you! IJL FH!!!!
Registration at front desk was nice. They were very nice and pleasant . I assumed that the remainder of my visit in ER would be the same. Drawing blood and starting an IVF took 4hours really? Then MD showed up and really didn’t listen because she ordered oral contrast for my sister who had come in for vomiting. We asked for a basin and it was never brought and my sister ended up vomiting all over the floor. Then was told to try again but slower really?Ct scan was done without contrast after. HoursHer male nurse. JOHN PAUL RN Was the worst. I wasn’t expecting him to smile ,but I was expecting him to be efficient and know what he was doing and keep us updated on delays. I expected him to manage our care and inform us at least once or twice on why we had to wait so long even though the ER was not overly crowded. This hospital is so ghetto. It is horrible. But John Paul RN is the laziest nurse I have ever encountered.
The only 2 things that give this place stars are the nurse who was kind and sweet to me (although the bruise I got on my wrist lasted for 2 weeks from the improper way of inserting the needle and moving it around) and the expedited COVID-19 test results. Thats it... The overall feel of the place is... sad. No staff bothered to help me when I had a question.
I went to the ER Sunday morning with cellulitis in my eye. I waited 2 hours to be seen by an RN for 15 minutes and never once had any communication with a doctor except for what my name is.. I ended up getting a very hefty medical bill despite not needing anything at all (bloodwork, tests, x-ray, etc..) I understand that this is the ER and its expected to be costlier than a doctors office or Urgent Care, but they will destroy you with bills if you dont have insurance, or if you have a high-deductible health insurance plan.
This hospital should close down. The staff is unprofessional, rude, and could care less about the patient. They almost killed my mommy. I transferred herTo St.Francis hospital which is million times better. My mommy’s arms was black and blue. They put a diaper on her and did not attend to her. They lied to me about her diagnosis and did not help me with her transfer. It’s dirty, with a terrible staff.I will report them
This was the WORST hospital to give birth at. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. While in active labor, I was very uncomfortable laying on my back; however, I wasnt allowed to move because the nurse refused to move the contraction belt. When my contractions were three minutes apart (my aunt timed them), that same nurse refused to believe that the baby was coming. I went to use the bathroom, and I felt something wrong. The nurse told me to lay down to examine me, and my baby was coming out. Another thing to note was that my placenta ruptured inside me, and the doctors never told me. My husband had to overhear the doctors and nurses talking. After giving birth:The nurses offered minimal help. I asked for a lactation consultant several times, and they never sent one. I had to put my baby on formula because I didnt receive the right care I needed. When I asked for supplies like pads, creams, diapers, and formula, they would have an attitude and take long to get me the items. They didnt help me use the bathroom or shower (plus the water was ice cold). They also messed up the special dinner, and they dont offer a gift basket (like most hospitals do) with goodies for the baby.
GO TO A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL. This hospital is horrible. No one does their job. Mother was in ER for over 24 hours. Left me standing outside ER entrance for over 4 hours, tried many times to get information. No one comes to check on the patients. Leaving a 91 year old women with dementia and a broken hip, lying in bed confused and disoriented. Never saw one doctor even after asking to. Mothers stay was extended because no one works. Case manager changed everyday. Really bad the Northwell made this hospital part of their network. Hopefully will not need a hospital, if I did, would never go back to this hospital under any circumstances.
Took my husband to ER for gall bladder attack, we waited only 5 minutes until he was checked out. Very attentive nurses & staff. He got a room that night & was scheduled for surgery for next day. Surgeon was excellent .. he was sent to ICU after recovery and had amazing nurses attending to him. Thank you Nurses Joann & Gina for making his stay comfortable. They were so nice they felt like family. When their shift ended it was sad to say goodbye. Everyone from the nurses, Doctors, residents & PCA’s thank you 🙏🏻 for everything you did for my husband Bradley.
The best Hospital I ever been to, these wonderful people saved my life they are great Staff and super kind! Compare to other hospital I’ve been to, they have very healthy and delicious good, they take very good care of you you just need to be patient when it comes to small details like bringing you a cup or spoon or sugar or whatever because they are there to care for your needs according to how you feel not be your maid, I put myself in their shoes sometimes it’s not easy working for hours! These people work very hard, I gave birth to two sons and the delivery were both there at this hospital, and will come to this hospital again if i decide to be pregnant in the future! Highly recommend
Went to the er 6 months pregnant in pain with contractions. I spent about 5 hours in the emergency for them to only do a sonogram and bring me back out the emergency room so the doctor can tell me take Tylenol for pain. This is my second pregnancy never heard of such a thing. I gave birth to my son in Wyckoff hospital and they much more easier and attend u way faster. U don’t have to wait in the er they take u up stairs to labor right away and monitor your contractions etc. do not recommend forest hills as an emergency while pregnant.
My wife had seizures on Sunday - one at home and one at the hospital. She was not administered an anti seizure drug upon arrival and subsequently had an unnecessary seizure. We have been here in the ER since Sunday (now Wednesday) and have yet to speak with a doctor about her condition and to understand her plan of care post ER. We have only spoken to a Neurologist. Thankfully he shared that she had clean MRI and CAT scans. Neurologist said that if it were up to him she could be discharged - however, no doctor has spoken to us. We tried for 6 hours yesterday to speak to a doctor - escalating, asking the nurses for help. We even had a nurse walk different floors of the hospital in search of a doctor. No one seems to know or be able to tell us why we are still here and what the plan is. We are beyond frustrated. Some nursing staff has been wonderful and compassionate, but the doctors have been exceptionally poor. I would absolutely not recommend this hospital.
I had a 5 hour visit today for a rhogam shot for my pregnancy. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The med students were very nice and funny. Kept my spirits high. The Physician Assistant Antoinette was very sweet. She is so friendly and amazing. They all made my visit worth the time spent. I look forward to delivering here.
Well to tell you the truth guys my baby was born in this hospital on July of last year In there it was very nice I had a great experience with my new born recently 2919 my son has fever I went like around 3V00 Am And since i had the worst experience in the ER. I cannot believe the hospitals on the emergency Room are with childrens and adults in the same place thats not possible or cant be ...... To make the story short I left the hospital at 3 oclock in the afternoon not knowing what my child had. They told me that he had a urine infection but they didnt know if the urine infection was because they put the little tube on his private part or because the back was dirty. To be honest I left the ER not knowing A diagnostic for my child.... Im sorry but I will not recommend nobody to this hospital......🤨
I went in with stroke type symptoms. My doctor was amazing and on the spot. All the staff were very good! I just had issues with 2 people.1) The person who did the EKG. I had to use the bathroom. When she came back she was screaming to take my top off. I needed literally 5 seconds to put on the gown. She was screaming in my face when Im already feeling ill. Than was left topless no gown or coverage with the curtains half open for others to see. Few male visitors kept walking by and looking. I was soo embarrassed. She claims there were other patients waiting - 3/4 of the beds were empty.2) I went to the ER 3 am because I thought it was life and death. Thank God it was nothing. They would not leave me until I paid my full co-pay. I told them I didnt bring a wallet I rushed out because I thought it was a stroke. No one Plans ER visit. They had my insurance information. I was allowed to be released. My mom finally gave a $20 cash and said bill them.Unless your other choice is Jamaica Hospital - do not go there. But my doctor was amazing!!!!!Thank you - the stars are for you!
I recently delivered at LIJ Forest Hills and I wouldnt recommend it, to anyone. The staff was pretty friendly, sometimes they joked amongst each other a little too blatantly/unprofessionally but overall they did treat me nicely. They are building a new section to accommodate more women, supposedly there will be private rooms for recovery, which I highly doubt. During my hospital tour we were told that on an average day each recovery room has 2 women, once in a while there is a blue moon and there may be 3 to a room. I guess last week was a blue moon because I had 2 other women with me in my room. If you ask a nurse for something its a 50/50 chance youll get it without having to ask again. I had a natural birth, no epidural, the next day I asked for some Tylenol twice and never received it. The nurse told me she would remove the IV from my hand twice, and never did. It was so uncomfortable I took it out myself because the pulling of the needle was making my hand tender and causing it to bleed. Visiting is 24/7 but between 10pm and 6am they ask that you have 1 visitor and dim your lights. I had a couple of visitors my first night and it was nearing 10pm, so we were literally whispering and making sure not to disturb the other women or their babies in the room and they left maybe 5 minutes past 10. My roommate on the other hand had children running back and forth, 6 or 7 visitors at once making all types of noise as if it wasnt a labor RECOVERY room. The next night when she had her lights on high, kids, and husband in the room close to midnight, not even trying to talk softly, I had to complain to the nurses station (which was across the hall) before anyone said something. I found this hospital too exhausting. A pediatrician comes around to your room and gives you his card and asks if you can bring baby to his office across the street in a couple of days. The nurse even vouched for him. I have a pediatrician for my 7 year old son but am looking for a new pediatrician anyways so I thought, if theyre affiliated with a hospital maybe its a worth a visit. I went yesterday, it was horrible. I cant even go into the horrors of how unprofessional it was, or how I feel about even being sent to that place.
My Mom was taken here by ambulance recently when she became very weak and confused. She spent her time on a gurney in an ER hallway for about 36 hours until they admitted her. The first doctor I spoke with told me she had had a mild stroke. I wasnt able to speak to a doctor again until two days later when a different doctor told me the diagnosis was now a mild heart attack, no stroke.I live over 500 miles away and communicated with my Mom, her local friends, and hospital staff by telephone. When my Mom was admitted, her friends told me they were worried she was a fall risk. I spoke to one of the nurses caring for her and expressed my concerns about her falling, and asked if someone could sit with her. (Apparently some hospitals have sitters for at-risk patients, but this hospital does not.) The nurse explained they have protocols for fall risk patients like my Mom which include a motion monitor which sounds an alarm when the patient begins to move around, and someone would come to my Mom before she would have the chance to fall.THE NEXT MORNING, I RECEIVED A CALL THAT MY MOM HAD FALLEN.I was, after much effort, able to reach the head nurse by telephone, and told her in no uncertain terms that I was assured that my Mom wouldnt fall, yet she fell within 12 hours of that discussion, and I was very annoyed. I asked the head nurse if she understood that. She said, Sir, youre being very rude, you cant talk to people like that. Well, frankly, I believe yes, I can ask the head nurse if she understands that Im very annoyed, and she finally said yes, she understood. I asked her what they were going to do to prevent another fall, and she said that if there were space available, they would try to move her closed to the nurses station. Im not sure if that ever happened.I get the distinct impression that this hospital is overcrowded and the staff overworked. This was backed up by my Moms friends who visited her there before she was eventually discharged to a physical rehab center. If you try to reach someone there by phone, you will be transferred and put on hold in a cycle that seems designed to make you angry. I was transferred and put on hold WHILE I WAS STILL TALKING.The hospital staff were probably trying to take the best care of my Mom that they could. They were, as they told me, hampered by broken diagnostic equipment and overcrowding. I believe these folks were also not the cream of the medical crop. This hospital, with its overcrowding and weary staff, probably does not attract the best medical practitioners. However if you are unlucky enough to live in the Rego-Forest area and become ill enough to require hospitalization, Im not sure what other choice you have. I wish you luck.
Worst experience I have had in the health system. Date March 2017. 7 people were involved in my care, only one introduced themselves. A x-ray result took two hours and there are digital. Which should be an instant result. The woman next to me, who came in a hour after me, had a CT scan and was discharged before I was. The only reason, she was constantly complaining. I never complained until I was discharged. The staff in the Emergency department are unprofessional, and have no empathy for their patients. They were rude to other patients, and the way they spoke down to them, and ignore them was intolerable. Disgusting Hospital.
I have never in my life have such horrible care in an ER like I did at this hospital. I came in with an ambulance had a room. Sent to do an X-ray. Came back and was wheeled in a corner at the end of the hall for no one to even attend to me for over 5 hrs. I saw a nurse pass by I asked can someone assist me to rest room because I feel dizzy. She told me this is not her area let her get someone. I waited 1 hr and saw another lady that said she will help. She unhook the IV and assist me to rest room. She told me when I’m done to press the button she will assist me back to the bed she does not want me to walk alone. The button was pressed it was lit for 2 hrs until a janitor came to clean the restroom and turn the alarm off. The woman never came back to help and so many others walked by seeing me standing there helpless can barely stand trying to get back to the stretcher. Then I have doctors playing the guessing game on what’s wrong with me. I asked them to just discharge me so I can go somewhere else where they can at least try to see what is wrong with me. I spent 8 hrs there not one did anyone offer me a cup of water juice or a piece of bread. Just HORRIBLE. Dr Amato saw me for all of 2 min then told the next shift doctor. I think she is find. I saw no one else until 7 hrs after that’s how long it took for be to get a cat scan. Now here I am the next day with the same issues and nothing has changed. I came in by ambulance from my regular doctor office. With stiff neck, chronic headache, dizzy, nausea, fever. Will def never go there again. I recorder my horrible service and if I would have fell returning from the rest room It would of been an entirely different story.
I know most of the people probably judge by the emergency room and emergency rooms are crazy everywhere. All around the country. I was admitted and had a privilege to be served by some wonderful people. I guess I just wanted to say “thank you”. Thank you Salin (not sure) from emergency room for calling me “a beautiful girl” and singing me her weird songs. Thank you Elsa on the 5 floor for always being available. Thank you Boris Kogen for your jokes and gentle touch. You were all wonderful to me. I promise to take care of myself and hope to never ever go back.❤️
I went last night with severe pain and concern. They triage me and took me straight inside. They put me on a stretcher in the hallway and left me there for 2 hours without a nurse or doctor to see if I was ok. They didnt even know my name. I went twice to the front desk to ask why? The nurses response was we are very busy. I explained I was 18 weeks pregnant and experiencing major pain. The answer was well the doctor has 7 patients including you. I noticed available stretchers around the er. Why was I in the hallway? I left and went to wyckoff hospital. Never going to that er again.
Nice facility, super hard working and friendly staff. Please keep in mind that like in every other hospital everything is very hectic and super fast paced, so please make sure you let your nurse or nurse aide know of any allergies that you may have, or anything else that they should know. I failed to let them know that I cant have a potassium IV and because of that had major water retention for days. Other then that this is a nice hospital.
I would of given them 5 stars, I had my first baby there about a week ago, I was In labor and notice my midwife just left the room, like arent u NOT supposed to do that? Secondly, when I was brought to my recovering room the nurse didnt tell me absolutely anything about what to do or what to use, it was up until Ive over heard other patients coming in and having their nurses explain everything. Other than that it was great but at the same time unprofessional.
Came here for a knee replacement Waited 3 hours from 12:30 Until 2:50 I was told that I was going home that night but now I staying overnight because I have to see the therapist My wife has appointment tomorrow so she can’t pick me up What is so bad and is that no one told me that I was staying overnight I had to a sad k 3 times to eat something and had to ask for some medication for pain
I recently delivered my child here and I cant say enough good things about my experience. My Obgyn Dr Williams is an amazing doctor and made sure my baby and I were cared for from the very beginning. I wouldnt trust anyone else to deliver me. From the nurse Kaitlyn who I met on labor and delivery who stayed with me through out everything to the staff who cared for me post op everything was wonderful. Dora, Rita, and Lorraine were amazing ! Everyone was absolutely wonderful. I wish I could remember everyones names but thank you all!!
Worst hospital ever. Should be closed down immediately. Waited for over 5 hours in the emergency room - no service was even provided. After calling the doctor over and over to come and have a look for a single minute, he kept refusing to even come. At the end of 5 hours they told me that they could not even look at him and did not have time and we could leave without giving us any release documents. Worst, they filled all the paperwork for charging bills. The nurse wanted us to sit on a bed that had recent blood stains and vomit was spilled over and tried to convince us that it was clean. Dr. Metz simply said that he does not even have time to come and have a look.
I took my dad to the emergency with breathing problems and high fever. They took him pretty quick and started doing all the tests immediately. The attendant Dr. and the Dr. that were caring for him were very busy with many patients, but they were both nice and helpful. Dad was then sent to the ICU where all the nurses were super nice. Then he was sent to the 7th floor where they also treated him nice. I was always on top of things because everyone was so busy but us family members need to do our part in helping too. Thank you nurses and Drs. Your job is not easy and we appreciate it when you are nice and caring!
My wife went into labor on 7/7/2020. Originally we were planning to go to Katz women’s hospital but because she was DIA later and 7cm apart we needed to go to forest hills lij which was closer to our home. Upon arrival my wife was taken in rather quickly. Her labor process started with Dr. Hleap who was good and thr nurse I can’t reca ll her name(sorry!). Dr Hleap shift and nurse shift ended and were replaced by Dr. Pericles M. Spyropoulos, nurse Elaine Livingston, and mid-wife sonjie Hamilton. My wife had a bit of a difficult time pushing the baby through after a few hours which is normal at which point Dr. Spyropoulos suggested a c-section which we were not thrilled about, however Thank God for nurse Livingston and mid wife Hamilton as they continued to go above and beyond to help my deliver our baby naturally by Hamilton’s technique of turning my wife over on all sides and giving my wife confidence. Our baby then was delivered successfully after about five hours without a c-section thanks to nurse Livingston and half wife Hamilton....God bless the dynamic duo! After delivery our amazing experience continued with the service and all it’s staff, as well as the food and room! The lactation nurse Lorriane was also great! All and all a surprisingly wonderful and great experience. If your fortunate enough you will also have the same experience especially with the dynamic duo (Hamilton and livingston)!
If I can give this place zero stars I would! Just left the ER after waiting four hours with only the triage nurse coming to us. Sent to the waiting area where only two other patients were seated. After the second hour the staff started bringing in chairs to seat other patients who also had to wait along with us. SLOW service and I mean ridiculously slow! We went up to the nurses station three times and was told the first time that only one patient was ahead of us. The second time we spoke with the Dr directly who told us we would be waiting another 20-30 mins until we could be seen because there were five other patients ahead of us. The third time the nurse told us we just have to wait to be seen. After the fourth hour we just decided to leave without seeing a Dr. Do not go to this ER! The majority of staff (including Drs) were just seated behind computers the entire time!
Consider dying before going here. Doctor ignored all I had to say while disappearing for hours, leaving me in an emergency room. God forbid I had something more serious going on. I left the same way I went in, confused in the same pain. The prompt service was when they got my insurance info and copay. That lady came and left quick. If only they treated this as more of a care facility than a business.
I have a severe allergic reaction. I don’t know to what. I keep asking the nurses for help but all they are doing is putting me on wait. They gave me pills but it hasn’t made me feel any better or at least numb the pain. The nurses are just hanging around their desks. They are more concerned about what health insurance you have or how you are going to pay the hospital bill then your life threatening condition. I HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION! Don’t bring your family here. They’ll only suffer more. Forest hills hospital is a nightmare. My experience here has been nothing but a nightmare. After waiting for 30 mins, they just called me in to sign a paper and now I’m back on the waiting list. There are two other patients sitting next to me who are screaming in pain and no nurse seems to care. This hospital is a living nightmare. I feel bad for who ever takes their loved ones here.(Update) I have just been released and my health problem has not been fixed. You can clearly see I have an allergic reaction on my face and nothing has been done to fix it. Please! If you value your loved ones, don’t bring them here. Let this place go to hell on its own.
Still here after 14...now 16hrs...noticed a young assistant “Amy” mock a patient with a disability as she walked past his bed making coo coo clock sounds. If I could give 0 I would. Horrible service and bedside manner. Not sure who’s posting the reviews about staff being quick and friendly, but those are lies. Patient neglect is a word more fitting. I’ve personally witnessed staff ignore patients asking for simple requests, and wait hours before updating patients on the status of their conditions. I understand this is a hospital, it gets busy. However if you’re in this field you need a level of compassion that does not exist here. If you care about your loved ones don’t send them here. They WILL be thoroughly neglected and possibly mocked for their ailmentsWill update with more information but 2 of the Emergency Room DRs neglecting patient pain complaints go by “John” and “Jamel”. Jamel especially had a stand off attitude towards even his own patients. Giving dirty looks, and rude remarks to me when I inquired about my fiancé’s condition.
If i could give this place zero stars i would. Took my son to the ER on 2/3/2020 after midnight. Once they gave me the wrist band with my four year olds info they tell us the children area is full so they placed him in a bed on the adult side, after waiting 40 minutes we left to another ER where he was treated immediately. While at LIJ no one bothered to stop by and connect him to a monitor while we waited to see a doctor. I asked a nurse if someone from the children area would come see him or would a doctor from the main area her response was “yes they will come see him” my child was brought in for trouble breathing while sleeping as his pediatrician told us to take him to the ER, you would assume a 4 year old with trouble breathing would have been attended in a timely fashion. Then we didn’t get a call until weds asking us how is David doing? Better no thanks to your facility. I am glad we just up and left. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Had my first kid here and the labor and delivery nurses were fantastic but the confinement was terrible. The midwife delivered my child because the obgyn was busy with twins in the other room. The midwife was very experienced and saved me from needing a csection. The recovery nurses were not great. They put us in a shared room with a couple and did not move us when there were more rooms available even when we asked. They only agreed to move us when we had our obgyn intervene. Our share of the shared room was extremely tiny, about 7x10 feet. A bed, a small table, a small closet, a recliner and the bassinet had to fit in that tiny space. Shared rooms also mean that you share a bathroom. Bathroom is also only to be used by the patient so dads have to use the hallway bathroom. Nurses often leave the door open when they leave and so noise from the corridor is always waking up the baby. We also got stuck in the room near a door with a very loud alarm which went off at least once per 2 hours. Nurses would insist on taking your blood even while youre breastfeeding. Lactation nurse is only available on weekdays. If you are in for the weekend and dont have time with the lactation nurse, you are not allowed to see her after your confinement. I would not recommend delivering here. I stayed here November 2018.
This is the best hospital I ever been too, from admission to my coming discharge . Well cared and everything was done to helped and relieve me. Good doctors, Dr. PERRIN , cardiologist Dr. NABATHIA , nurses Carlo, Elsa, esp Indra , Riley and also Sophia and the rest of the staff , resident Dr. FREDERICK, Dr. ESPARES....IT was like Im going home from another home.Thank you and keep safe
I have no words to express how happy i am with this hospital. I had a c section and i had a great experience, the care and treatment i got from the moment i walk in to check in was simply amazing .. nurse MARIA and nurse ANGELICA ( the russian nurse) were so good to me i have no words to thank them enough, also the nursing expert was such a loving lady . The doctor that did my c section never came to see me which i wasnt too happy about but the nurses made up for that. The room I stayed in was beautiful and everything super clean. Overall it was beyond amazing!!!
Very good hospital the best there is in Queens, the quality of staff are very loving I loved everyone from the 6th floor I want to Thank you very much for the special attention you had with my husband sweet and loving :) He left today after 9 days and received special attention from everyone STEPHANIE GRAY YASHAR ,AVNNET ,JANICE G, ZINA, VANESSA, DANIELLE ,JOHANATAN, EMMIE, KHAADIM, LIYA ,JANICE N ,OLGAand others that I do not remember Thank you !!!!JOSE M & DORIS
Worst experience in my life! I Will never come back neither my friends or relatives. I got to ER after I injured my nose at work. I run onto a glass door. Having my nose badly swollen feeling dizzy and nauseous after work I decided to go for a check up. Long story short I spent 5 hours waiting havent had a chance to speak to a doctor nobody came and check on me I had to ask stuff for a Tylenol it took almost 2 hours to get a simple pill. After complaining they finally sent me to cat scan. Doctor never came to me. I tried to speak to her few times. She refused complaining that its only 2 do doctors. So I was there from 10pm till 3 am. Finally somebody from stuff asked me if I want to leave and handed me papers. Didnt explain to me whats going on. Do I have broken nose? What should I Do? Should I do surgery? When I left still dizzy on a way to my car in a dark I read my nose is not broken just seriously I injured. But I have concoses. DO NOT GO THERE! WORST HOSPITAL!
Very bad customer service. 5th floor is the worse. The floor is nasty/dirty. One room has 3 patient beds. Nurses at the front desk are rude and have no clue when the doctor would be available to speak to the family. When asked was told there was only one doctor servicing the entire hospital after 7 pm. They have an attitude when you ask for assistance. No communication with the family whatsoever on progress. Patients are not looked after. Steer clear of this hospital.
Went here for the birth of my baby. The place was nice especially after the birth. They also helped us learn how to do things that we didn’t no how to do since it was our first baby. Place definitely seemed clean and secure. Only really annoying thing is they need more elevators then they have(1 was out of service too) so I recommend taking the stairs down whenever possible.
Just wanted to share my experience in the emergency room. I was just discharged. Word can’t express the gratitude I want to express while In the care of the doctors and nurses there. Thank you to nurse viviana Stewart and Dr. Auerbach. I couldn’t of been in better hands.Thank youJ. Villar
I had to take my wife to the hospital as soon as we got there no one cared for us until they called her name after 5 hours just to tell us that they will take more time due to busy and Low staff I went to ask for a Doctor or a nurse someone to at least see my wife no one answer me I cant believe a place like this run. I wish we never went there just to remind you this was an emergency room.
I had the choice of going to this hospital, Elmhurst or NY Hospital Queens for ER. I shouldve picked the latter 2. Poorly managed ER. Went there because it was the closest to my home. Had taken my father there and mother as well last year for the same reason, closer to home. Staff curt when you ask questions. Finally found one kind nurse who went to get the doctor to examine me after waiting more than 4 1/2 hours. Doctor spent little time with me, said was coming back after taken an emergency call and never did. Walked right past me to another patient-disorganized. A nurse came by and was ready to take a cholesterol test and other blood work that made no sense based on my reason for visiting. She shouldve checked my bracelet to be sure I was the correct patient. I was the one who questioned her. People in other rooms asking repeatedly for water, etc. getting same response, to wait. Saw staff busy socializing and complaining about co-workers and patients instead of being more focused on patients waiting for care. I get that patients have to be triaged and care given on priority, but a well managed ER has staff doing rounds and coordinating efforts to provide the highest level of care for all. No longer take my parents there will not return myself either if I have a choice.
Worst service I had seen in a hospital history. Staff rude and obnoxious. Doctor seem lost and had us waiting 6 hours before he even came to say hi with no care. Dr. Raza in the emergency room was not only seemed overworked but upon approaching said not sure how long you have to wait by looking at the nurse and not me. I see this place has 2.7 star review that I believe is over exaggerating. This place deserves no star at all.
Deokie Mahadeo- just had a csection 2 days ago. This hospital is the best. This is my third csection and my first time at forest Hills LIJ, wish I had my first 2 babies here. The staff is super friendly and very attentive and the food was excellent, the room clean and relaxing. Felt like we were at a hotel with room service. Vidya Dabydeen and Aretha Campbell especially made our stay their even more enjoyable. Thank you guys
Long story short, My father passed away in this hospital. He came in with a severe cough which was later diagnosed as pneumonia. And with that diagnosis, the doctor gave him false hope when he asked if he would be able to go home as if it wasnt major. He only stayed here 3 days before being found with no pulse in the hospital room. And never, at any point did the doctors or nurses notify us on the severity of his condition. We did not expect him to leave at all when we checked in. I feel he was NOT treated properly because of his Insurance.Because he had actively went to this hospital prior many times with little issues, until his insurance changed and it ended up being fatal. We were told his death was unwitnessed at around 3am in his sleep. Immediate family was NOT notified at ALL until 3 hours later at around 6am, when we had been calling to check on him and unable to reach contact with any staff on updates. With the audacity to send letters in the mail in regards to Grief Counseling with all the other people who have also lost family members in this hospital under their care - no. Myself and my family have zero intent in stepping foot in this hospital ever again with the PTSD we are pushing through. And his favorite pair of glasses he was wearing prior to passing were missing when we went to identify him. Really? Someone really stole from a man who just died?I wrote this review and am sharing the shorter version of my story with aspirations to inform patients who go to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills. Please check in on your family members when they are admitted here.I highly reccemond taking the extra effort to go and send your loved ones to a differrent hospital, one that cares.
The staff is friendly; however, on both visits, my appointment times have not been honored. On one occasion, I waited for an hour and a half, even with an appointment. I had a surgery scheduled for 11 am and it was after 1 pm before going into OR. Because of their lateness, my initial ride had to leave, and I had to figure out an alternative sign-out solution. They also ask the same questions multiple times and on several occasions lost my information and payment. They misinformed me about my surgery and the state that it would leave me in.Lastly, the PA decided that he’d let me know that I shouldnt sell my medicine. To this comment, the RN responded, ”are you seriously saying that.” I felt insulted. He tried to correct himself by explaining the ”opioid crisis,” but his comment was inappropriate and misdirected. My overall experience was not good. My surgery was scheduled for 11, and I left around 5:30p. Id recommend a different location.
Never go here. Save yourself the trouble and take the extra steps to have a visit else where. I went here to be induced for my son and from the moment I went in to the very second I left, they made my experience hell. The first issue: they said they never had my paper work for induction. Fine, no big deal that was an easy fix. Then I was waiting in the waiting room like a lost puppy not knowing where to go or how this was happening. Finally. After 45 minutes I got into a room and got all strapped up with heart monitors and Iv’s, the whole nine yards. This being my first child, I assumed I would get information in the beginning of what to except or who my doctor would be. But nope. So I was thinking maybe as they go I’ll know. Nope. They came in and out whenever they felt never saying much. Then when it was time for my epidural it took about 45 minutes from the time I asked for it to the time the doctor came in. But even then I was thinking okay not bad I’m in pain so it probably seems worse than it is. But every time I asked for more of the epidural, it took a minimum of 15 minutes!!!!! And the doctor would come in yawning or huffing and puffing like I disturbed him form his nap. Finally on day three of my labor, I’m feeling extreme pain and pressure in the middle of the night. I told them it was time, mind you this is my first child so I didn’t know what delivery felt like but I knew it was time. They kept saying I wasn’t ready I wasn’t ready and to quote one of them, they said I’m about to have a baby I need to “man up” WHATTT I then told her to get out of my face because that she as the wrong thing to say to someone I labor. so finally when I absolutely could not take it anymore, about 10 minutes after their last check up, I felt down below because I knew wasn’t right. The heAd was already out!! I was screaming and screaming for someone to go and to quote them again they said “ we are changing shifts you need to wait” my Blood was absolutely boiling. They finally came in 10 minutes later and delivered my baby. I was so annoyed and beyond angry I couldn’t even enjoy the moment like I wanted to. I ripped abnormally because they weren’t there to get him as he was coming out. Then the doctor that was supposed to stitch me up literally, no exaggeration, took 15 minutes to come in. And he smelled like tuna like he just finished his breakfast. It took him 1.5 hours to do it because it was a drama movie in the room. He was telling 3 interns what to do before he did it and he had to kick one out of the room because he wasn’t prepared. After I got into the next room for after delivery they were the least happy or helpful for the mother’s. I didn’t feel welcomed or cared for. They were rude with every question they answered and came when they felt like it . This is a horror story of what birth is like at LIJ. DO NOT COME HERE .
I thought Jamaica was bad, this hospital is second coming. The wait at the emergency is always super long. The nurses and doctors are always talking and never doing what they’re supposed to be doing. They also rush you like if it’s a retail job. I had to call back to get my results, AS the doctor who helped me said, and everyone I called had such an attitude with me. Like either help me or not, I️ don’t need your lip. Seriously unprofessional environment.I was waiting to be seen by a doctor, clearly very fatigued and sick and he just kept talking to random people on the floor. This woman he knew, I’m guessing as friends, happened to also come in the same emergency and they started chatting as if I wasn’t waiting for him for over two hours alongside two other patients. GO to Hollywood & audition for Grey’s Anatomy if you wanna chat your a** away instead of helping people!
This ER is honestly just bad. Doctors running around with no clue as to who their patients are. One doctor complained out loud in front of us (as if we weren’t standing next to her) saying “these people bring patients and don’t even tell me idk who’s patient this is” We went ignored for a while. The ONLY worker who actually gave us amazing service and showed compassion and kindness was Kelsey an RN.
Having dealt with other renouned hospitals that didnt live up to the hype, the care this hospital and their amazing doctors (all depts) provided to my daughter who came into their ER in critical condition was nothing less than astonishing. Immediate care, solved her life threatening issue, and the doctors took the time to explain the results and next steps for her survival. Shes alive because of them! Thank you all for your dedication and hard work and for giving us hope!
Terrible. Can I take away the one star?I went to Northwell urgent care. They told me to go to the hospital. So instead of going to community drive, where I had my surgery last year I came here. Because it was a few blocks away.I brought print outs of my diagnosis and ekgs. They ran the same test again! I purposely went to the northwell urgent care so they can share records. All the staff is very condescending. They dont care and have no bedside manner. The doctors and nurses lie. They never attended to your needs. How is this the same chain as the main campus? The nurse went to take blood. After a painful stick, took a while to draw. She was like Why is it taking so long?. I was thinking maybe because the needle is crooked. Then when removing the needle she pushes it all the way in!! I was like What the hell are you doing?!. No apologies or anything! My roommates wife sat in the nurses chair because there was no other ones and shes a senior citizen. The nurse, who disappeared and left us for a while suddenly reappeared yelling Thats my chair! You cant sit there!. So they took it away, wiped it down with wipes for a few minutes and disappeared again.I finally got my results 7 hours later. Everything was fine. Which is a lie. I have serious palpitations in the heart. Then it took another two hours to get my discharge papers. I kept asking what is taking so long. The doctors and nurses said to wait 10 minutes. Every 20 minutes they gave me the same answer. Then the doctor said he had my discharge papers and flashed a piece of paper at me. It was probably the same blank paper he been carrying around for days. He said he was coming to get me. So I accompanied him to my bed. He went the other way and disappeared for another 45 minutes. They tried to pressure me into paying cash for my co payment. I always get billed. They told me it was a new law. They dont bill anymore. Which is a lie. Because I go to the doctor once a week. I just went to a doctor a few days ago and they billed me.The doctor prescribed tylenol and sent me home. By now its 9pm and my doctor who is at community drive went home until Monday. I thought they will take some test and transport me to my surgeon or release me if nothing is wrong within 30 minutes. This experience is just as bad if not worse than when I went to city hospitals. Northwell should be ashamed of bringing on such a terrible place. But hey, money is money.
My daughter was born here on December 30 2018. To be honest I was very happy with the professionalism, the care and the post partum rooms. They all showed great compassion and maintained a calm environment at all times. Many thanks to all the staff members there for a great experience.
-I was in the Emergency from 02:00 PM o’clock until 07:30 PM on Tuesday, May 21 2019 for nothing.- I should not say sorry.-This hospital the worst hospital I been inStaff taking work as jok, patient come sick need help,They there not to help they there for one thingMake money, Evan doctors they should go backTo school to learn all over again. If I can give this hospital zero stars I would go with 5 Zero stars, mickey mouse doctors no medication just waste of time in the hospital, the Emergency Service Stuff is the worst, the doctors not professional at all they don’t know what they doing, I was in the hospital for more than 8 hours for nothing l feel much worse while I’m in the hospital, even after I left the hospital I feel worse until the second day after I went to my doctor.because of the why the doctor treating me I pass out, my husband starts losing it see me in that situation and the doctor acting dumb, doing nothing saying nothing. this hospital sucks. Stay far away from this hospital.
We arrived at the hospital at around 12 30 am my son having an asthma attack!!! Well we have been sitting here for over an hour waiting for a doctor to come listen to his chest! I had to get up several times to ask if he is going to be seen but a nurse finally came to give another treatment after sitting here an hr to let us know that the dr was busy suturing another patient!! Please correct me if I m wrong but doesn’t asthma outweigh a patient needing sutures? I mean if you don’t breathe you die ?!?!? This is by far the absolute worst experience how pathetic and what a poor excuse of a hospital!!! The nurse cane gave another treatment without listening to his chest again so I guess they just pump u up with drugs and don’t do anything to see if the patient is any better or worse !! Because how will they know if they don’t check that to begin with? At 230 am still waiting for a dr this is absolutely unacceptableUpdate it is currently 438 and we saw the doctor for 2 mins and received 2 more treatments and now on a magnesium drip but and a huge but .......... they haven’t listened to his chest since 230 am and no other treatments other than the two back to back at 230
Yolar is one of the worst ER nurses I have experienced during my 20 years of taking my elderly grandmother to countless ER visits. She was quick to pass us off to some other staff if we need help, but she seemed to enjoy watching my 90 years old grandmother undress in the middle of the ER without even so much of a privacy curtain draw. She kept us in ER for more than 8 hours with her incompetent when we could had gotten out in half of that time. What a waste of resources.Dr Kanon is an awesome ER doctor, give him a better ER staff and you might experience better flow in the ER.
I didnt like the response that I received yesterday via telephone. I called the Interventional Radiology Dept. to make an appointment. First of all, I couldnt get through & received a message to leave a voice message. I called back & informed operator a that I couldnt get through and if she could help me. I got through and the worker on the other end was NOT helpful. After asking me so many questions when she could have checked my information in the computer, she claimed that she did not have the approval letter that I had received dated 9//4/15 and that she had not received any faxed copies. She claimed that information was faxed to her all day and she could not check them now. She requested that I fax her my confirming letter in which I responded that I did not have access to a fax machine. Finally, she stated that after the approval was confirmed, I should contact doctor to make the appointment. Well I dont know who the doctor is and all I wanted was help with obtaining an appointment... At this point, she stated that she had to go because she had other calls and quickly gave me her fax number. Well, Ive decided to visit the hospital today and hopefully obtain better service and my necessary appointment....
Been in the ER for over four hours. My mother is in agony over an abscess in a not so pleseant place. Asked repeatedly for antibiotics and pain meds only to be given a standard iv drip. When the antibiotics did come it was on for less than a half hour, went for a CT scan and they never put it back when she came. Its a combination of the incompetent doctors and nurses . I would not recommend this place if a dog had an ingrown toenail. Oh and the best part one of the nurses said yeast infection . Love it!Only bright spot is Alex in the ER.Day three of my mothers stay and still the same, no one cares, rude staff. No one tells you the truth
I came here to get my surgery with Dr.Tenembaum. He is amazing!! He has been seeing my case for almost 3 years now. I recently decided to go ahead with the surgery and I cant even begin to express how grateful I am to have had such an amazing doctor. He is so knowledgeable, so professional, and best of all, always gives you the best options possible. Thanks to Dr. Tenembaum and his staff I had the best experience possible. The Anesthesiologist was great in assisting and answering any questions possible, the nurses and everyone in the room while the surgery was happening did amazing. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. So glad this is where it all happened!!
They helped save my life a few months back when I came in with an emergency. They took care of the issue and were very supportive. I can understand the long wait times when waiting in the ER since its a first come first serve basis unless you have an emergency, but the place itself has been renovated and updated to be cleaner and better looking than it previously did.
My dad who is 103 years old fell and broke his hip and because he lives in FHills, he was taken to this hospital. They left him in the ER laying in bed for A DAY!!! in excruciating pain until they scheduled the surgery. The nurse/service staff is horrendous to the point of being hostile and not caring. After the hip operation, they wanted to send him to the rehab facility even though he couldnt urinate on his own. He had a blockage and did not care to see what had caused it. When asked what was going on, they got upset. The operation itself was very successful, however the service is almost inhumane.
I had so bad experience with emergency room. Dr Mariya Belyayeva so unprofessional and so mean. She doesn’t care about the patients. She doesn’t know how to talk with people. She has bed manners. When my mom ask her to help me she said to my mom , she is not dying” relax. Then you must die to help you? Don’t go to her she doesn’t know what she is doing really
Worst place. It’s basically just a school for a upcoming doctors. And that’s a scary environment. Do not come here for anything serious like a heart attack or what my boy friend had which was a staph infection and could be extremely dangerous!! The only amazing angel we had when we were on the 5th floor was our nurse Desiree!! During his discharge which took more then 5 hours she came through and helped us out so much!!Thanks again!!
This hospital is ok but the Emergency Service Stuff is the worst . They take more than an hour to check your insurance situation. Meanwhile nobody would come to help you with that pain that brings you there, I wasnt the only one who complained about it. there were 4 more people screaming and looking for doctors to help and the administration lady would only answer that first your insurance situation gotta be checked and that the computer system was very slow
Im writing this while I’m in Long Island Jewish Emergency Hospital (forest hills). 5 days now.1. Regarding cleaness, this hospital is dirty as hellll!!! Housekeeping managers are the irresponsible managers I have ever seen in my life. No one come to clean the bathroom for 5 days and change the bed sheet. I had to ask to call the housekeeping manager he was like All Right All right and No apology. All managers fault.2. In 5 days I was not able to eat anything and to sleep 1 because I was very sick and 2 the lady in the room with me was vomiting🤮 coughing, burping and snoring day night. and talking over the phone very laud all day night!!3.No private room.4. There are 2 nurses that I’m happy with their service and very responsible Mr. Noar (night nurs)and an other lady (day nurs)5. Tbh it really hurts - when you feel like you are not in a good place and paying a lot to get sick more and more by facing these all things. Very Disappointed!!!I know no one thinks Hospital is a good place to go but we have to when we need but somtimes it’s it becomes worse place - these were few things that I had to bring it up to you.please say something if you see something to not let other people to go through all these things. However, Thank you! I’m feeling okay😊Good luck!🍀Diana
My 88 year year old mom was brought in on 6/1/17 after being found by me on her floor of her apartment with severe dehydration. EMS suggested Forest Hills and she was brought there with principal diagnosis of severe dehydration. It took 7 hours to get any IV for fluids and she was in the ER over 30 hours before getting a room.An MRI was ordered on 6/2 and transport came while she was eating lunch so they said they would come back. They did not come back until 72 hours later. In the interim, she was forced to relieve herself in her bed and then wait to be cleaned up because of suspected low back fracture so she was not allowed out of bed or even to use a bedpan. They needed the MRI before allowing her to do that.We saw a doctor one time per day for less than a minute. Despite also giving a history of ulcerative colitis including an attack the evening before this hospitalization they kept attempting to administer colace and laxatives. No one read her chart before coming in and asking the same questions each day. After the MRIs were finally take in the afternoon of 6/5, they advised there was no fracture and she was being discharged. This was in spite of the fact she was 88, bed ridden for 5 days and was now too weak to get out of a chair (mom has always lived alone). There was no time to get an aide because it was 5:30 pm and they could not even provide a wheelchair for me to get her home even though mom was in pain and was limited to a few steps walking. She should have been discharged to rehab but the social worker just sent her home. As expected, mom trying to get out of bed 12 hours and was rushed back to a different hospital. She has been treated appropriately at her current hospital who correctly are working on a discharge to a sub acute short term rehab facility so she gets her strength back and can continue living independently.I never thought I would find a hospital experience worse than Elmhurst but North Shore Forest Hills now takes the award for poor service and improper diagnosis/discharge.
I was in that hospital yesterday, they have the worst service, the employees are unfriendly. The nurse who touched me to take my blood is very heavy and left my arms all purple and black from the punctures she gave me. the one that made me the sonography is super hateful and did not answer my questions. omg I spent all day from 11am to 6pm in emergency, since I went there because I am pregnant with my first baby, I do not recommend that hospital at all, the worst medical service I have received in my entire life.
I had sustained broken ribs, a slight spinal fracture and a punctured lung a few days ago. I was recently discharged from a hospital that I was being treated in. I came to Forest Hills Hospital ER for an evaluation of respiratory difficulties I was having in relationship to my accident. I just needed a confirmation from x-rays and ct-scan that my respiratory difficulties was not a result of a pneumonia or maybe something worse. I received my confirmation hours later (approximately 7 hours later). In that time, I was never offered a stretcher, they offered to do an ekg in a room from which I was kicked out abruptly without an ekg actually being performed. A person with a slight spinal fracture, 9 broken ribs and a punctured lung was forced to sit in a chair for 7 hours all while being yelled at to get out of the way by various nurses looking to maneuver other patients. I work as a paramedic in NYC, so I understand the workload of a busy ER so I didnt want to place any undo pressure on the staff but it appeared that they used my reserve to buy time to tend to other patients while I was in excruciating pain but did not force the issue and tried to be accommodating. In the end of it, they offered to admit me for pain management which I refused as unnecessary, at this point I just wanted to go home - from the beginning I just needed confirmation that my newly developed respiratory ailment was not due to any new and unforeseen complications. So I requested for a discharge summary and had to go and find my discharging doctor on my own after being told that I can leave. After some time I didn’t receive it so instead of waiting for probably what could have been yet another hour, sitting in pain without any regard to my condition, I left without it. I was in the street feeling abandoned and humiliated while in excruciating pain. The pain was amplified when I had to get in and out of the taxi of course. When I got home an ER nurse called my house and stated that my discharge summary was complete and I have to return to the hospital to receive it. I never went back to the hospital I was just in way too much pain. This was my experience in North Shore Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital ER.Remember: 9 confirmed broken ribs, slight spinal fracture, in excruciating pain and a slight punctured lung forced to sit in a chair for 7 hours.
I give this facility two stars ONLY because the ER was very responsive when my father was brought in and some staff members especially the PCA staff has been very kind and caring. However, communication is awful!!! My fathers transfer to a rehab facility has been full of annoyance. First, my mother was being pressured by the case manager to accept a facility with sub par ratings for my father who is unable to express for himself if something wasnt right. They should have been working on an after care plan from the moment he was admitted, rather than a rush job where a patients family who was not as equipped to advocate as we are would have been forced to accept something less than perfect for a loved one. Terrible case managememt. Now on the night of transfer, my mother has been waiting since 3:30 with my father with no answers. First, they were on their way, then it was they will be here at 7, now she was told at 8:00 that it will be by 10:00. Unacceptable. On a rainy night, my father who hasnt been outdoors in two weeks and has lost five pounds in the last two weeks battling an infection will be moved in the dead of a January night. Whoever makes these decisions should be ashamed of themselves. Please think twice before visiting this hospital for anything that would require extended or after care.
TERRIBLE Every time I go for my heart pain they prescribe me pain medication or say thats what i should take instead of actually helping to fix the problem . Im trying to fix the problem not be numbed by it . Last time they said my EKG had a minor irregularity but if I were older it would mean im having an heart attack . Doesnt make sense when people have heart attacks at younger ages than I was. Also they do not follow HIPPA regulations Im a medical assistant and they were saying information of medication ,peoples identity , and even my medical history in front of people in the waiting room . It was horrible i felt better going to a sauna after than the two hours i was at the hospital. Dont get me wrong there are good employees there just seems like most are not caring whatsoever . Plus there are curtains not really rooms very uncomfortable.
Only person in the triage section of the emergency room I’m triaged immediately then get to the back and sit for two hours without being seen by a doctor they had a staff meeting in the middle of the ER. The doctor that was assigned to my daughter sat on the computer for a half hour they ignored us didn’t come back with answers to our questions. My daughters finger tip was taken off. This hospital is not good at all. Shut it down !!!!!
What a s...show! Arrived at 630pm had me in a ton of pain sitting out in ER waiting area over 90 minutes without saying anything to me and if it wasnt for my wife going into speak with a nurse my paperwork would still be waiting to be printed out! This place USE TO be a solid go to ER but now I see why all the bad reviews have been posted. The desk worker was lost! What a disgrace! I couldve gone to the city been in and out and actually taken care of feeling like I mattered instead of this bs! Oh and by the way still waiting to see a Dr!!!!!! STILL WAITING!!! All I want to do is laydown instead Im still waiting to a Dr! 830pmIt gets better they have no idea whos who. Poor guy was kicked out of a room and told go wait outside after being called in because someone was here before them. So why did you even call him in?! Not organized at all!!! What a joke!!! Everyone working tonight should be fired!!!!I want to give 5 stars to Maria Teresa the Filipino RN who took care of me and demanded a Dr see me due to the pain Im in. This place needs more like her because all the other nurses were laughing joking when the ER is a serious place!
Ive been here since 8:30pm monday, its now 3:53am and Im still here. Nothing for pain, no food, no water. They are currently holding a staff meeting (staff gossip time) right next to my bed (which is in the hallway) instead of attending to the patients. 8 hours for a hairline fracture in my knuckle, absolutely unacceptable
I am so furious at this incompetent hospital. I had my son there and the next day they asked if we would like to circumcise him which we agreed to do. And this was the biggest mistake of my life. Whoever did the circumcision is either stupid or totally incompetent and should not have a medical degree. I noticed the poor job that was done about a month after and now i have to take the boy to another urologist to do a proper circumcision. Its just so painful that my little boy would have to go through such pain again. My advice, flee LIJ forest hills for such sensitive need.
Staff is not compassionate at all. Doctor looks very frustrated and looks like she doesn’t want to work.Very rude and they don’t like their job.Looks like they are only working to get their paycheck. Very rude! Go to another hospital. Save yourself from disappointment.
I went to ER at 330am due to hemorrhaging from miscarriage a week ago. I was left in room without a call bell, had to ask for fluids to run due to dehydrated, asked for rhogam to be order upon entering which was forgotten about causing increased wait time to leave. I was discharge and almost went septic due to remaining tissue left behind which led to need for a D&C a week later. They discharged me saying ultrasound stated no fluid or tissue remaining. I had to walk and hunt my nurse down to request to leave after I was escorted into the hallway so room can be used for new patient. The ultrasound technician was rude and forceful with device. Nurse hide in corner to chart ignoring call bells and left needle on bed for me to remove after drawing blood. The GYN team and head nurse ER were great, kind, knowledgeable. I would be weary of another visit
One of the worst of Northwell hospitals. My mom spent 2 days in the ER because every time they assigned her a room something supposedly happened. Their excuses were as numerous and various as the ones the MTA gives. Also, hope pray you are not admitted over a weekend. One nurse said to me this is a weekend, you really expect there to be a doctor here. We have one resident and she has to take care of the whole hospital. Maybe shell get to this floor before you leave, and may be youll get a chance to talk to her. Unfortunately this is the hospital my parents are closest to, so theyre stuck. My dad died in this hospital, he went in with a fractured hip, but caught C-Diff from the hospital before he died. C-Diff is very contagious and deadly especially to the very young and old.
Im 25 years old and just had my first adult health scare. I hear these horror stories about the service in hospitals and how as a Black woman my concerns would go ignored. My mother (a healthcare professional of 30 years) brought me here, away from our local hospital, to receive the best care. The wait time was very short especially for the eve of Thanksgiving. I saw a total of 3 doctors who listened to every concern and symptom I reported. Unfortunately I did learn my diagnosis of uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts but I felt great just knowing the team here LISTENED AND CARED for me. They didnt brush me off or try to tell me its just period cramps and did 2 sonograms to learn I have a lemon sized tumor on my left ovary. They advised me on follow up care and what I could do to ease my pain in the meantime as I do intend to have it removed. I honestly couldntve felt safer and more cared for. I wish I remembered everyones names individually to thank them but I want to say this will be the only hospital I come to if I can help it. Thank you LIJ!
Where to begin with this hell hole. I came in because I have stomach pains. They tell me that theyll give me a bed as soon as it becomes available. They had me waiting TWO HOURS and giving any available bed to everyone that walked into the ER after me. When a Dr finally decides to bless me with her presence, she tries to examine me in the waiting room. This hospital is also disgusting, the bathrooms are dirty, the hallways are dirty and over filled and the staff is too busy chit chatting with each other to care about how one is doing. Choose another hospital, this hospital is absolutely terrible.
My Mom was brought via EMS with chest pain, shortness of breath and vomiting. She has been in the ED for one hour. She was dropped off by EMS and hasn’t seen a nurse or doctor since arriving. She was placed on a stretcher with someone else’s glass of water on the back and a used nebulizer hanging on the back.
One of the best hospitals. Excellent service Great Doctors friendly & knowledgeable staff. My overall experience was awesome. Dr. Apple White & Dr. Shrim had been very helpful from the beginning of my wifes pregnancy till the day of delivery. After the birth of my child they repeatedly came to visit my wife & ask about her health & the new born baby. The staff is very polite & carrying( its hard to remember names of all but a few to mention are Vidya she took care as a family member & Branda hope I spelled her correctly she was there till the end to give us the brief information about handling & taking care of my child. And how can I forget Lorraine she is very knowledgeable & soft with her words in her session for explaining how to take care, what & what not to do to new moms about them & new born babies.Highly recommended.
94 year old father came in as an emergency, ER doctor was good, nurses there were pleasant, not a bad experience, other times there NG. Surgery by Dr. Rahmani that same day, emergency surgery, Vascular PAs were very knowledgeable, courteous and caring. Dr. Rahmani is an excellent surgeon, all went well. Waiting area we were told to use was next to dialysis and was FILTHY AND SMELLY!! Hospital needs a face lift. Going to recover another fiasco since had to walk thru OR in suits, booties, etc, that should be addressed. Very small hospital in a crowded area of Queens but that wont change I assume. Hospitals ICU area was not as clean as I expected it should have been, one person changes dressings but leaves bloody chucks on bed, NOT my JOB! Everyone should help out, just terrible. Had to find chairs to sit on, as with any hospital some nurses lovely, others do you a favor! Out of ICU to a floor where first encounter with a male nurse was horrific, did not tell my father what he was doing, and he could not understand his English. They moved my dad to another room, on same floor still not sure why to this day. Weekends everything STOPS, PATIENT COULD DIE SO UNDERSTAFFED AND THEN REVIVED ON MONDAY. Scheduling needs to be addressed on weekend, patients STILL THERE AND STILL ILL. PA comes and does one thing, doctor comes and undoes it, people need to be on same page, if we were not there to advocate for my dad who knows what would have happened to him. Weekend, one doctor for many floor, father, who just had blood clot removed and leg cut open had to wait for PAIN PILLS, AND I MEAN WAIT CAUSE ONLY ONE DOCTOR ON WEEKENDS. Discharge papers with instructions never received, dad should have left with something, we met him at Parker Rehab so not sure who signed him out. His coumadin was supposed to be regulated BEFORE HE WAS DISCHARGED THAT DID NOT HAPPEN, GUESS BED WAS NEEDED. We had told bed at Stern not a problem, but no bed there bed at Parker so off we went to another nightmare.
I would give them a 0 star if possible. HORRIBLE staff. I honestly dont know how they managed to get a 3 star rating. For a northshore hospital, this hospital falls well below the expected standards. My aunt was admitted here last night as she was in labor and gave birth last night. For starters, the nurse there, would not help clean the vomit of a pregnant woman in labor. Instead she stood to the side as the husband, my uncle, took his wife to the restroom and cleaned her himself. The nurses did not even offer her a new gown until he reluctantly asked. Secondly, the white elderly nurse there was clearly racist and speaking demeaning towards my mother. My mother has been in the country for 20 years and as a practicing muslim, wears a niqab. Just based on her appearance, the nurse refused to answer my mother, rather gave one answer, I dont understand you, speak english. After the child was born, an hour had passed, and the nurses refused to let the father know the hieght or wieght of the baby. LASTLY, when my uncle arrived there initially, he asked if there was a female attending physician. The staff lied and said yes. At time of delivery, the nurse attempted to do the delivery but eventually they insisted that there was no doctor and if we wanted any, it would be the male doctor. When asked, the nurse replied the doctor doesnt need to do the delivery, i have an idea of it. If any person is in need of professional care, especially from the labor department, you are better off going to the nearby Jamaica Hospital.
A sorry excuse for an emergency room. I was here for 5.5 hours with severe chest pain and wasn’t seen by a doctor. I was left alone without any communication about my condition. I ended up having to get dressed, leave and take a cab to a different ER. This place is the worst. Staff on duty laugh and joke at their desks while you’re struggling to breathe. If my life had been in real danger, I wouldn’t have trusted them with it again. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!
It is 3pm Sunday June 9th and ER nurse assigned to triaging my daughter is dismissive and disrespectful. SMH. Its the year 2019 and they still dont understand that how you treat amd speak to patients AND their family matters. Having a dismissive attitude while working in the medical field is both inappropriate and unacceptable. If you hate what you are doing or refuse (because it is a choice) to treat people with kindness then maybe you need to find yourself a job that doesnt involve you having to deal with people. I should have taken my child somewhere else.
This is by far the worst hospital ER I have ever been to!! Expect to wait for hours and get attitude when you ask for help. The staff in this hospital treat sick patients like criminals and act annoyed when asked what is going on. I just spent 12 hours in this hospital with my husband for absolutely no reason!!! This hospital is a disgrace!!!
The Resident was in a rush to discharge my mother whom came with an ambulance from a referral of a Doctor from an Urgent Care. My mom was having symptoms of a stroke. He tells me the blood , and cat scans are cleared. I come home , see her tests and her glucose is super high & she has her neutrophil up to the sky which means she has an infection and that apparently she’s pre-diabetic. Please don’t go there. They are insensitive & careless
Came in for a cyst had to wait 6 hours to find out my surgery won’t be done until the next day😡😡😡😡😡 waited another 3 hours for a room.. It wasn’t until I got upset They started moving their ass. I know its a hospital but damn communication is important. And I was left in the hall when all this occurred. Disgusting annoyed and in pain
Is the worse hospital. My mother had an emergency and we had to rush to hospital. In the ER The girl behind the counter acted like she was disgusted; she had to get off her phone to check my mother in. Then she proceeded with attitudes receiving my info. My mom sat there for hours in severe pain waiting to get her vitals checked with very few people in the lobby. After vital were taken we had to wait another two hours before an X-Ray was taken if her, as we thought broken leg. Workers are not competent and not compassionate about their patients care. Hospital did nothing to help my mothers medical condition, but everything to charge my mothers insurance as much as they can. They are only friendly if you are smiling and not making any suggestion or request on behalf of yourself or loved one! If you make any suggestions or demands, the staff in hospital will intentionally use all of their powers to torture and humiliate you or your loved one!
We had delivery 6 am. And we did reach 6:20am. They said doctor has left so u have to wait 4 to 5 hours and the doctor came after 14 hours. We had very bad experience there. The hospital employees didnt know anything when doctor would come. They employees dont know how to take blood out they hurt many times while take blood out. My wife didnt eat anything since 21 hours because they said dont eat anything . doctor can come anytime but my wife was feeling very weeknes with hungry. because of that we had to wait 21 hours. We never forget that day.
I took my daughter to the ER for severe abdominal pain. She was seen within five minutes, vitals taken, shown to the ER intake and was seen by Dr. Jody Gerard. He was so kind, forthright and amazingly accurate about her condition. She had an ultrasound and cat scan, blood work to rule out life-threatening possibilities. I just cant say enough about the good service and and follow-up of Dr. Gerard and the whole ER team. We were out in 3 hours with a prescription for pain. Thanks.
ARRIVED AT 3:00 The nurses are super rude. Upon arrival had one nurse send me for the bathroom for urine testing and when done I was left holding my urine sample for 30 mins. When asking around no one even knew I was to be attended. When doctor came he ask a few questions and left; soon after I was told my vitals were ok? What vitals? No one has tested me. Then I waited 1 hour and 30 mins to have a sonogram done. At 6:00 doctor tells me everything is ok and I could go home, needed only IV to be removed its 7:15 now and still waiting for nurse to take out IV... Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention I am 5 months pregnant !
I want to share my great experiences I delivered already my 2nd baby here and it amazing personel and workers here everyone so sweet and nice, then they transfer us to recovery room and nurses are super sweet and nice everyone took such good care of me and my baby , i am especially thankful to nurse Anna, she was there at our last day she are super sweet and nice so i want tell her special thank you!!!!
I think that Leadership needs to step it up major here. A family member was in emergency for 24 hours and I advocated for him...Otherwise, he wouldn’t have gotten the proper meds at the proper time or even food! I believe that the staff is hard-working (they looked real busy); however the place is not run well. There were many who had no advocates and my heart went out to them. I helped some get their blankets, food...come on! Look North?! To what?
At five months pregnant I came in after I got into a car accident. The doctor suggested I get an x ray to see what was wrong with my back. I couldn’t believe I was being told to get an X-ray by A DOCTOR. I asked to be realeased immediately on account of my baby’s life was at risk. Do not come to this hospital! They lack basic knowledge!!
The staff was nice to me doing my stay. When I was in holding Nurse Lisa, and Dana, and the Nurse manager made me comfotable and the pca her name starts with a C they call her Doana Ross. When I moved to room 518. The nurse manager Vicky and Janice made sure I was ok.Nurse Isabella was wonderful and Nurse Amna. But Nurse Desiree was strict and the best with me like the others, but she made me laugh because it was difficult being on fluid restriction. The aid Damien and Jacqueline was especially nice .Damien fix my bed because I am very tall.Iam over six feet tall.My last exprience both case managers I forgot to get the name of the lady who set up my home care she was wonderful.and last case managerLorraine Dawkins handled my other issues I need upon returning home. It was hot in the room but the staff tried to accommodate with a fan that was the only problem. My Doctor DrJohn and the resident very nice and patient. My cardolgist teamDr.Sepideh Nabatian, the best firm strict but kept me laughing,so I wont be scared.I rate four stars instead of five stars because of the heat.🙄Sincerely yours,Sharon Brown-Dash
Everything was fine when I got there. Until I was put in the emergency bed with some else. THIS CLEARLY A violation of the health law. I dont need for a stranger to hear me sickness. Also be showing my personal areas to . I was extremely upset on top of what I was feeling. This needs to change regardless of how short they are in beds or that 3 hospitals close in the area. That is not my people my prognosis should not be heard by someone I dont know.I have been extremely upset about this .Im putting a formal complaint.
Worst medical experience in my life. Each department seemed to have different information if they had any from the emergency room, to admissions to the floor nurses. It was like a group of misfits thrown together - frightening. I was admitted through the emergency room and the evening medical staff was practically non-exhistant. It took two and a half hours to get a motrin for a headache. Never to return.
I just delivered a Premie Baby on May 9, 2018, And my experience was a beautiful one. The hospital staff was great, Caring, Attentive and Efficient. If I decide to have Another Baby this hospital will be my choice again. I would like to thank Nurse Eartha from the Nursery/Nicu/Level 2, She was a Great Help Very Kind and Very Informative. I Would Also Like To Thank Doctor Robinson, Dr Applewhithe and Doctor Leap. They Made Sure That Everything was In Order And Made sure i WAS Well Taken Care Of...Thank You LIJ Forest Hills Hospital For A Great Experience...
Sitting in the ER for the last 4 hrs. Came in at 2 am on April 16 with both my kids because they were throwing up and complained of stomach ache, and now it is 6:36 am and the doctor just walked in. If your child needs immediate medical attention, this is not the hospital for you. There is definitely no pediatrics here.😕
I went there with fractured leg. First I went to MedCity by my house and got my xray done and was told I had my Fibula bone fractured. I didn’t want to wait until next day so I went to this hospital with the cd and th report on my hand. They had me waiting over an hour. They took my xray and took me to the doctor which was a specialist. I told him I had the cd and the report he didn’t care. He said nothing was broken and I just just some fluid around my knee. After taking the fluid out he said I was OK to step on my leg. He insisted I didn’t have anything fractured and I would be ok. Next day I called another Orthopaedic Surgeon. They took another xray and I was told I had a broken Fibula bone and that I should get MRI done. I got my MRI done and I have not 1 but 2 fractured bones. Think twice before you go there
Do not come here if you have Asthma. Waited for an hour only to get my health insurance information and got no treatment. I had to rush to Elmhurst hospital to get treated. Very slow staff and unorganized. Cramming all patients into one room until they get all their information. Never again coming to this hospital
Terrible. Had surgery on July 20th. Got a terrible infection. Had to be readmitted for a second surgery to clear out the infection. Was hospitalized for 6 days. Nurse made a mistake on my antibiotic dose. I noticed it before it was given thank goodness. She would forget to bring my pain medication time after time. I got bit by what I assume were bed bugs and after talking to various floor supervisors nothing was done. Food unedible.
Worst service ever, I had a piece of metal embedded in my right eye and went to this hospital ER; after being ask several times the reason of my visit and filled info docs. 30 minutes later a nurse tried to help me making me read a chart, can you image that, with a metal in my eye and infection, then a doctor showed up to just to tell me there were no opthamologist available to help me and there were no reason for me to be there, wonder what? they charged me $1,389.23 just for telling me they couldnt help me and even though later they communicate with me to get my insurance info which I provided, they are still trying to charge me treating to send me to collection, I tried to get in contact with them and their phone service is worst than the service they provide at ER, nobody is available at all, they have you on the phone for hours and never take the calls. I feel like I was robbed at gun point. Believe me I live few blocks away but next time I will go somewhere else no matter if my emergency requires a fast intervention. DISHONEST HOSPITAL
My husband had Ambulatory surgery for a torn Meniscus. The orthopedic surgeon orders stated member should go home with crutches and the physical therapist was to teach him how to use the crutches. The physical therapist was in rush and told him he only needed a cane and did not even assess him walking. My husband arrived home and had difficulty with just using the cane. I had to return to the hospital the next day to get the crut. I am waiting as I write this survey
I was admitted on 5/29/17 with severe hip an leg pain an numbness. The staff, from John in ER to Nurse Charlene on 6-South were simply AWESOME. Their bedside manners, patient care, sense of humor made you feel like family instead of a patient. For 3 daysNURSE CHARLENE showed an amazing support for all the patients under her care. I would like to say; I hope Im never hospitalized again but if I am I would go back to this hospital. Keep up the incredible work guys!JOHN in ER,NURSE CHARLENE a very big THANK YOU!All the very best,Devine Everett (615A May 29th - May 31st)
My mother in law was admitted yesterday with a very bad rash/sores all over her body. Today I came in & they tell me she will be discharged tomorrow. I ask what does she have, they are not sure. I ask, was a biopsy done. No, they tell me. We do not have that facility available. My mother in law is 94 years old - she never complains. Ur this rash is even in her rectum. She does not walk so its not like I can just take her to a dermatologist for a biopsy. Can someone tell me what I should do. I dont want to take her home this way.
I spent what was my longest stay in a hospital here at fhh. The e.r part was terrible...they seem to be so unorganized. I went to e.r at 7pm and was not in a bed until 5 am the next morning.. i was on the 4th flr. And after that..it was great..the nurses and the pca s were so kind and always so helpful to me starting with Nurse Teress.. Faye... Liz.. pca s punky..carl..marlon and marcelle. I was there for such a long times and 2 surgeries later they were still so attentive and caring. I was so scared mostly and there was a point when i didnt have anyone there but nurse faye.. and she great.. nurse teress went above and beyond to make sure i was ok.. i am home.now recovering and actually miss them
Their labor and delivery is under construction so the recovery rooms are for three patients and their babys. The staff is friendly and helpful but from overhearing they are stretched thin. Its really uncomfortable being in a jammed packed room trying to figure out a newborn.

2022-06-24Had my baby there 2 weeks ago all staff were professional and wonderful I don’t know how they do it every day. Had a really good delivery me and baby were taken care of with every needs. Even though it was over crowded at the time of delivery, the staff were very attentive all the time. All of the meals I had was delicious and fulfilling considering hospital foods in general have a not so good reputation. The room I had was very spacious and I even forgot I was staying in a hospital for a second. My partner was with me for the entire time.

2021-12-19I am doing hand fracture surgery in this hospital. The doctors and nurses here are very patient and give me great spiritual comfort. It made me relieve the pain and pressure after the operation. The ward is very clean and the food is fresh and tasty. Thank you very much to all the staff here. You are the best. 🙏🙏🙏

2022-01-27The ER staff are very experienced and knowledgeable. Front desk clerks are friendly and helpful. When i wanted to order food one of them gave me a phone number to call and order which i did and am thankful to her for that. Apparently vending machines in the main lobby could not be accessed after 7PM and the cafe was closed. There should be a snack shop for those needing it for coffee or tea after the cafe closes. I was impressed by how clean the ER was also. Thanks to our health care professionals for the great job they are doing.

2022-02-11These must be fake reviews on here. This is the worst hospital with the weirdest visitation time. 10am-11:59am then 6pm-7:59pm. All doctors are gone by the last visitation time so families are not able to get any information not a call from a doctor. The nurses have no information to give you either only thing they will say I just started my shift. I paged the nurse practitioner twice over 4hrs after visitation is over someone will come to the room only to repeat the same information. To a patient who is not conscious of what is being said. When you ask questions to the nurse they have an attitude. This hospital fail to realize these patients need to see their family to help speed the healing. Their stuck in a bed alone they have no energy to hold a phone to there ear. At least family can help them be mobile. You need to be fully vaccinated both dose. And yet that doesnt matter. Change your hrs!!! Most hospital have 3pm-7pm. Im so upset the way this hospital treats their patients and family.

2022-01-12Not sure what the big fuss is about, I actually had a great experience. I got to see a nurse, resident, and doctor all within a span of 30-45 minutes. It was a quick ED admit/discharge. I came pretty early so it wasnt too busy, but I can understand that the ED will get busy during peak hours as its a smaller hospital with many local residents. One must have patience as a patient.

2022-05-14So far I can say one of the best hospital ever, I have my baby 8 day ago and the service that I received was excellent since day one, they make me feel so comfy, my OBY Dr wasn’t there but Dr Williams was super nice with me she did my C-section, and the nurses especially symone was super super lovely person she too care of me and my baby during night time and I felt so comfortable and relaxing she was so amazing and kind nurse. I definitely recommend this hospital for prenatal care. The whole team are super amazing persons, I can’t forgot about the nutritional team another amazing team they treat you like home, and the food super delicious. I’m so blessed and happy to have my baby here. God bless the labor & delivery team 🙏🏽❤️

2022-04-14ER is not bad except long wait. If you come thru ambulance they take you right away. The receptionist will try to get all the info out of you even asking your religion.

2022-02-06Some of the clerks and nurses were so rude during the ER visit. A nurse tried to pop the swab into my parents brain instead of nose when doing the covid test, not sure if thats the normal procedure but its definitely painful. Dont expect a good experience there and the two stars are for the doctors only.

2022-02-04My baby was born a week ago in this hospital. All nurses, doctors and staff are very patient, self-sacrificing and caring. Thank you very much for everything. It was a nice experience for me and it was a pleasure to meet you.
