We could not be happier with LI Sound! We got married on 12/28 and are still getting texts and calls from our guests saying that it was the best wedding they have ever been to, mainly because of how much dancing there was. Maybe Im biased, but Chris and Vito kept our guests on the dance floor ALL night! I trusted them completely to keep it going (no matter what kind of music I thought I wanted played), and they did! I would recommend them 100 times over! Im SO glad we had them and wish we could relive this night again!
One of the best wedding planning decisions my husband and I made was having LI Sound DJ our event. The dance floor was non-stop!!! Working with LI Sound from start to finish was a pleasure. They were responsive and receptive to our ideas and requests. Many of our guest raved about the music to us after our wedding. Look no further, LI SOUND is your DJ - or your party isn’t going to be fantastic!
I love LI Sound DJ. I was referred to them by another friend and boy am I glad I chose them to be part of the sound/ lighting venue for my wedding. Chris was my MC and he was super easy and nice to work with. He made sure the wedding went smoothly. I also had a percussionist for my wedding, which I super recommend. Towards the end of the wedding, they even had my husband and I play with the drums a bit in front of the crowd, as an added experience. Also shout out to the lighting guy. Thanks LI Sound for making my wedding a memorable one.
LI Sound was the DJ we used for our wedding in July of 2019. We have nothing but amazing things to say about them. DJ Matt and MC Chris were amazing. All of our guests still talk about how great the DJ at our wedding was to this day. They were also very easy to work with leading up to our wedding. Would give 6 stars if I could!
I cannot say enough about Long Island Sound DJ. They were incredible to work with from start finish. Accommodating with meeting times, helpful when choosing songs, understanding of what we wanted as out vision.I had a very emotional moment during the father daughter dance (i danced with my stepdad as my dad passed away 18 month prior) and the MC recognized how upset I was, called my mom to finish the dance with me, and then turned the fun right back up. I will never forget that moment. Also, everyone raved about how much fun they had. We danced all the way up until the last possible song. I would recommend them over and over again. I am grateful they were available for my wedding 8/23/19
Can’t say enough how incredible Chris (MC) and Rusty (DJ) were. They helped create the magic for every moment from the ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and the reception. As expected, the reception was the highlight of our night and there wasn’t a single moment the dance floor was empty. My wife and I had the time of our lives and our guests felt the same way. Thank you Chris and Rusty for the best party of our lives! Because of you we saw some of our guests dance more than we’ve ever seen them dance before! Highly recommend Long Island Sound for any events!
My husband and I couldnt thank Long Island Sound enough!!!! From beginning to end we had such an easy and amazing experience. We went to several weddings that they did so we were able to see how they preformed and they did an amazing job each time. We want to specially thank Craig for the night of our wedding. Our wedding was on 3/25/17 and we still are having conversations with our guest about how amazing the DJ was. He read our crowd well, and killed it!! We highly recommend Long Island Sound for your next party!Scott was the DJ at our small wedding party in April 2015.First we met with Chris to go over the basics. We conveyed to him our desire to have really meaningful music to us rather than a random assortment of Top 40 hits. We had a very small, informal wedding but it was imperative that everyone danced and had a good time.We spent a good deal of time making our list of preferred songs. Scott was amazing, got our guests up dancing and complemented our music selection with additional songs that fit our style and the mood of the evening.At the end of the night, every guest was on the dance floor with us and we received many compliments on the music! Even the restaurant staff said it was a great party!The staff at Long Island Sound took away the worry and allowed us to enjoy our party! Ours was a simple affair, but it felt incredibly special thanks to them! They are more than capable of much bigger events and offer a great variety of decorating themes and other accompaniments to your musical selection. We had such an amazing experience with LI Sound. Chris, the owner, was super responsive from the start. Their prices are reasonable and they have an awesome studio and great selection (different packages and setups to fit your needs). He was very flexible in terms of our requests. We could not be happier with the end result. Chris is an INCREDIBLE emcee. He has the perfect voice and knows how to get the crowd started and followed all of my directions on the day of the wedding. Planning a wedding during COVID has not been easy, we had 3 date changes, a shift in our desired services and still LI Sound was helpful and accommodating every step of the way! I am beyond impressed with how professional they are and how awesome theyve been with dealing with everything during COVID restrictions. Since we had a small celebration we only had them do the music for our ceremony service but Scott came in and made our unique situation so special. He was such a nice guy, I cant say enough good things about him and this company. Their entertainment capabilities are great but even more importantly they are the most genuine, sweetest people to work with.
My husband and I decided on LI Sound for our wedding this past Sunday 9/1/19. Vito was our MC and Matty T was our DJ. I cannot rave about them enough!Vito was so thorough and careful with reviewing everything before our wedding and also during it which was very important because our wedding was a combined Indian and Italian/Polish wedding, so we threw some curveballs. However, both Vito and Matty T dodged all of them!!Vito was very good about changing up the pace at the wedding, and when there was nothing happening, would suggest to maybe have a certain event happen to keep everyone entertained and focused. He was very good about getting people on the dancefloor and people just enjoyed how he controlled the wedding. Matty T kept a constant flow of different kinds of music. Our guests had so much fun and they loved the variety of music. He also was very good about not blasting the music, so that our guests could actually have a conversation. We got so many compliments about the DJ and our MC from all our guests! I highly recommend this company and this particular duo. You wont regret it.
Let me say, we all know the whole wedding comes down to the music and personalities of the DJ. This whole company knows that and have put a lot of effort into supplying an impeccable service. We had Rusty as our DJ and Tommy as our hype man; these guys are fantastic together. Rusty kept people on the dance floor the whole night dropping jam after jam. Tommy - I HIGHLY recommend as the hype man - people kept asking me about him because he always had a smile on his face and wasnt too over the top like weve seen at some weddings where it starts to be too much talking. He was the perfect balance while Rusty kept the music going; dance floor was packed the whole night. Thanks fellas for making the night special!!!
We went with LI Sound for music, and up lighting and extra cool stuff for our wedding…and are still reeling from what a great find this was!! The music for entire ceremony and cocktail hour was exactly how we requested, no surprises! We used the Print Budii photo machine and it was a hit at our wedding! If anyone had trouble, Scott and his team were right there to help our less tech savvy guests and then they were hooked on printing photos all night long! We were fortunate to book Scott as our MC and couldn’t be happier. He is charismatic, funny, friendly…the list goes on but basically everything you could hope for in an MC and more. The only thing that could top his professionalism was his skill as an MC in keeping the party going and bringing the wedding together. I also have to mention how sincere Scott was and showed genuine care in making our wedding a special day. He gave great and candid advice, suggestions, encouragement which resulted in an amazing production. Our wedding guests are still complimenting us on how much fun they had on the dance floor and the great music selection. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the unique, and personalized entrance video LI Sound created for us! Scott was able to play a full night of great music which kept everyone on the dance floor and matched our taste just knowing a few things about what we were looking for in our playlist. LI Sound did my wedding in 2009. I think Scott was the MC. He was funny, energetic and never lost the attention of my guests. The dance floor was full to the capacity the entire wedding. He even got guests to dance who Ive never seen dance before. Thank you for an unforgettable wedding!!
It was extremely important to have a personalized music experience at our wedding. We have a more unconventional taste and worried about a DJ company executing our particularly customized setlist. My husband and I were so pleased with the experience we had with our DJ Dennis and his crew from LI Sound. They also went out of their way to set me up for a surprise performance playing guitar at the reception. Being musicians themselves, they understood that there is more to music than the usual wedding top 40 and other antiquated formalities. Our fears subsided as every song we heard throughout the night were ones hand picked by us prior to the event, even the dance sets. There was never a missed queue or announcement, our wedding was a dream come true.
They absolutely killed our wedding. The playlist was on point, Leo our MC was able to read the crowd so well and really capped the night off perfectly.All of our guests commented on the DJ/MC and how it made the night.We’re so happy we booked with LI Sound and would recommend them to anyone looking to have a killer wedding!

They made the planning process simple, and they were very reasonably priced.At the wedding, they were very accommodating, and helped us out with anything we needed. And at the reception, they absolutely killed it with the music! The dance floor was packed throughout the entire night. We are still getting compliments from our guests about how great the music was. We had our consultation with Chris at Long Island Sound the other day and we immediately were blown away with their offices and equipment. Chris did an amazing job walking us through all of their services without any sense of trying to sell anything rather help achieve what would fit best for our wedding. His professionalism was noticed and we booked shortly after. We even got to sample all of the MCs and DJs to see who had the right feel. There is no doubt our wedding will be off the charts thanks to the guys at Long Island Sounds!

I saw Long Island Sound for the first time at a bridal expo.. from then on me and my wife both knew we wanted them as our DJ and entertainment for our wedding. This past Saturday we got married and I am still getting compliments about Long Island Sound and the amazing job they did. First let me say that everyone is so personable during every meeting Ive gone to leading up to the big day. Theyd answer any questions I had and always made me and my wife feel comfortable. We received so many compliments on the movie mashup... I cant thank you and say enough about Leo (our MC), and the rest of the guys including Keith who played the piano and sung during our cocktail hour. You guys knocked it out of the park.
LI sounds killed it at our wedding!!! We got compliments all night on the MC, Chris and DJ, Rusty! You guys were beyond amazing, I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Im pretty sure everyone can agree...music can either make or break a party. We wanted a DJ that made sure the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night of our wedding--so we went to LI Sound.Chris was our MC and Matty T was our DJ and they were an UNBELIEVABLE pair. During the entire process, Chris was a dream to work with. Any questions I had, he answered promptly. The sheet provided when we first booked, in regards to Must play, Do not play Genres we liked etc., was a saving grace that Matty T followed beyond expectations. We gave a general guideline of music we wanted and he hit the ground running.The only time people got off the dance floor was to wipe their sweat and catch their breath. Weve been told countless of times already that it was the best wedding people have ever been to--and we owe that entirely to the music: Chris, Matty T, and LI Sound.

I wish I could give more stars, Long Island sound is hands down the best people for your special event. My husband and I used them for our wedding and everyone was up dancing the entire time, and were complementing on how fantastic the DJ and MC were.
Was considering using this DJ company for a 2019 wedding after we saw them at a bridal expo. We were even going to book an appointment to meet with them in their office. When we attempted to do that Leo told the person we were speaking to not to give us an appointment. He had us write our names and phone numbers on a piece of paper and assured us hed call us the next day (Wednesday night). I did not get a phone call from him until the next week and that was at 7PM. By then I had already met with a few DJs and was not interested in doing business with this company.
I have never seen a dj mix music like this. Their ability to read a crowd and keep a party moving was incredible. Also, the percussionist made the party! We loved them, they did a great job and we wish our wedding never had to end it was so fun.

Chris the owner was awesome friendly and totally down to earth. He wasnt pushy or try to sell us anything we didnt want or need. I booked LI Sound for my wedding on July 3. First thing I loved was that you can go on their website and watch all the DJ / MC bios and choose the ones that fit your style! Secondly, they are EXTREMELY on top of making sure they play everything you want AND keep your guests on the dance floor! I really can’t say enough good things! We had DJ Russel and MC Tommy and they were phenomenal!

2022-07-14LI sound was a fantastic choice for our wedding day!!! Scott and the whole team were extremely helpful planning the specifics of the day. They were attentive and responded quickly to questions via phone or email. On the actual wedding day, they absolutely rocked it!! The dance floor was packed the entire time and almost all of our guests were up dancing! Scott as the MC and Russell as the DJ were a dream team! They were able to easily read the room and play the music everyone wanted to hear. 100% would recommend - these guys are great!

2022-01-21Long Island Sound was nothing short of amazing leading up to our wedding day and on our actual day. They were always quick and responsive with any questions we had. They actually listened to what we wanted and what we didnt want played and made the most perfect mixes for our wedding day. The dance floor was never empty! Our MC wasnt overbearing and did the job perfectly. I have nothing but good things to tell everyone about Long Island Sound and will continue to recommend them whenever I can! They are THE BEST IN THE BIZ!

2021-10-18Let me start out by saying over a week after my wedding and I am still on cloud nine. I wanted nothing more than to just have the best time dancing with my husband and our loved ones. At no point other than dinner and specialty dances was the dance floor less than full. I am still getting text messages about how amazing our DJ and MC was. Matty was our DJ and Vito was our MC and we will 100 percent recommend them for every event that you want to have a good time. They never let the energy dip and listened to everything we wanted. LI sound was so seamless to work with and helpful in every possible way, answering any questions we had. I am beyond thrilled with every single aspect of LI Sound!

2022-07-14Tommy was the emcee of my wedding this past weekend. The respect he showed to me and my now wife, the energy he brought, all of it, he did an amazing job. My wife and I generally have high expectations and he exceededEvery one of them. I would recommend Long Island sound / Tommy as an emcee and his dj to any of my groomsman or friends who plan on getting married.

Their customer service is superb, their offices modern, clean with tons of lil details to keep it extra clean. 🎤Scott is doing our wedding this coming Saturday 7.17 and has been a pleasure to work with. Theyre traveling 🛣️ to NJ for us too.No matter how many requests for changes weve thrown at them, Scott has taken it in stride with a smile. We had to change our date due to COVID and they made the transition seamless.Cant wait for wedding day! Will update, but have no doubt from their reputation and my interactions with them; our DJ entertainment will be worry free and super duper awesome 😎POST WEDDING Update!We had the time of our lives, and thats was thanks in big part to Scott and the entire crew at Long Island Sound DJ.Scott is the perfect MC, gives great advice in planning the wedding, can get the crowd pumping, but isnt a hype man that takes the attention away from the bride and groom. He is there without being seen, but still manages to get everyone up and dancing.The music selection was great, they went out of their way to help me with a last minute favor, and made the absolute best mash up video (def ask about that Ive been getting compliments from everyone!!)Theyre not going to be the cheapest, but the prices are very competitive and cheap compared to the value delivered. They offer lots of packages with the base DJ and MC at one price then you can add as your budget allows, dry ice was also a big hit!Long Island Sound DJ entertainment is the best wedding day DJ you can ask for. 💯🦸😜And definitely recommend the zap photos, see attached! You get them that night which was awesome so you dont have to wait for photographers!

Every detail was perfectly executed from the photo booth to the video montage. And the fact that they were able to get my Husband to dance was everything and more!! 2021-10-19My wedding was a few days ago and all I can say is AMAZING!!! we had LI sound as our DJ and from the day we first met with them they were amazing! very friendly and amazing customer service! they kept to our playlist and the lighting we picked was amazing! everyone is still talking about it and how much fun they had!
