The salesperson that was assigned to me was super nice but while she was helping my wife I couldnt help but notice the intense stares from other sales associates. After I made the purchase and was about to leave thats when I felt even more uncomfortable. It was raining heavily and my wife and kids were waiting in the store for our uber that took about 15 mins to get there. After about 10 mins standing there, what seemed to be the manager came up and said are you guys all done here or can I help with something? There were 2 other persons awaiting their ride but she never approched them. She made it seem as though we are not worthy of being there, that I am done with my purchase so I need to leave now. This is somewhere I expect customer service to be top notch as a purchase costs thousands of dollars but I regret I made my purchase at this location. Train your staff to never judge a book by its cover!
Amazing experience! Our host Vidya was incredible! I can not say enough about her! She even text us to make sure we were happy with our purchase and if we needed anything else. I definitely recommend requesting Vidya she will be worth your wait I promise!!! Thank you so much again Vidya for such a wonderful and amazing experience!!!!!!!
Have a pair of defected shoes. Sent my husband to have them replaced. The manager of the store was so rude. She totally was driven to take the blame off herself. She basically said that I was probably too heavy for the shoes and when I walked I broke them. She doesn’t even know who I am. Mind you I am not heavy and even if I was where is the lv disclaimer that heavyset women cannot wear their shoes?! Cannot believe a bias and unfounded derogatory comment like that came out of a managers mouth. Clearly she had nothing else to say and didn’t want to help me. Mind you the house of lv is not going bankrupt and no harm is done by helping me. Quality is not worth the money but however if they did care and help me imagine the great review I would be giving and the great reputation lv would have? Sorry but this brand is not worth it so dissatisfied and hurt and offended. Which should never happen especially with luxury designer goods. Please live up to a good reputation. Will not be buying lv. This isn’t the first time. I have received bags in the past that came defected broken strapped incomplete paint. Is this my luck or is this a brand who cannot compete ?
Very pleased with the service at this Louis Vuitton location. As a long time customer, I’ve waited over two years to find the pochette accessoires and to my delight there was one available at this location. The phone number fir this location actually goes straight to the store and not a 800 customer service line. My sales rep Gabriela did a fantastic job to help in my purchase of this popular and very hard to find item.The location is beautifully designed and was set up well for clients during COVID 19. I highly recommend contacting this location for a pleasant experience and to locate hard to find Louis Vuitton items.
Finally getting around to write a review for the NYC flagship Louis Vuitton store located on the northern end of 5th Ave. The 5-story store has all the latest items on display, and this particular store has done a really wonderful job displaying the ready-to-wear collections on the upper floors. Most of the staple items are not actually on display, but they are usually available in the stock room and can be brought to you on the floor upon request (if you know what youre looking for). The most frequent floor I visit is actually the top floor, which has the client services counter. Since we are borderline abusive with our LV stuff, its convenient to just drop off and pickup our repair items directly at the store to avoid the hassle of shipping. The lifetime service on all LV items is what keeps us as loyal customers. Oh yeah, the secret VIP area is also on the top floor; I had the rare opportunity to peek at this area while handling a repair order. Customer service is superb as expected with a store of this caliber.
Clean environment. No appointment required.Staff is genuinely serious about our experience (custumers). I enjoyed how everyone was courteous and how there is so much to choose from. I had traveled from CT to NY just to get an Onthegon Bag that was only available at that location. Super happy with my purchased.
Just got home from this LV location today, just before Valentines Day and was super satisfied with the service! I’ve been to multiple LV boutiques around the world, and was really happy with the SA/CA that helped me today, her name is Tammy. She was so sweet, patient and generous with us. I’m only visiting NY, but because of her sweetness, I would definitely come back and make sure to make a purchase with her again before leaving. Thanks for making my night Tammy! ❤️🥰
Worst customer service. They are selling items that don’t last and the only solution is blaming on one and saying they will waive the fee when it’s the product that they sell that is damaged and we have to go home and wait for them to order it and it would take 6-8 weeks. It’s not worth paying sooo much money.
Who trained these employees?! United Airlines? Didn’t offer me water until I agreed to buy something.. also not a huge fan of wasting time. Sales rep couldn’t find what I wanted.. described it perfectly & then I found it in a drawer as it was not displayed. I want the commission for selling it to myself!
Best experience I ever had in any Louis Vuitton store in New York!Even though it was raining cats and dogs outside, the atmosphere inside the store was so heartwarming thanks to Carren who was very attentive to my wishes.Thank you, Carren! You are the best! You made my day!
Great store at 5th Avenue. I felt the hospitality overall could be better. I mean if youre spending a ton of money that can be expected. I mean usually whoever is buying may be accompanied by a spouse or another person who may not be buying anything and it will be either bored to death or tired of standing up. Plus we had a toddler with us. The store wasnt busy, probably more store workers than shoppers and for the 2 hours we were there no one dared strike up a conversation, ask us if I wanted to look at mens collection , despite seeing that I was tired didnt offer to tell me where in the huge store there were chairs or even ask for water. We went to Chanel store and they literally made us feel like they wanted our business. These guys depend on their people skills but were barely average.
If I can, I would give zero star for LV in 5th Avenue for its disgusting and low-efficiency services. They even shipped a pair of different size shoes for me and asked me to ship back without a return label. I cannot imagine what LV did! They made mistakes and asked customers to pay for their mistakes! When I called customer services, they just palter with me. They said they would call back after few minutes but I waited for more than 3 days, I did not receive any absurd ‘callback’. I never met this before when I made a purchase in Gucci, Chanel... Even H&M has a better service than LV!
It is a rarity to meet an individual whose passion for their work allows them to radiate joy. I had the pleasure of working with Farid at LV, who shared his knowledge and passion for fragrance with kindness, courtesy and poetic aplomb. What a breath of fresh air! Thank you Farid for your outstanding level of customer service. I hope LV knows what a gem they have on their hands.

I dropped off a bag in November for repair. It’s now April 20 and I’ve been trying to find out what happened since March. I keep calling and I’m told someone will call me back. They usually do NOT but when they do it’s to say: “ repairs are in progress”.I cannot get a straight answer as to WHEN I will get my bag back and I’m going away next month and wanted to take it with me. I was told that maybe I should go into the 5th Avenue store where it was dropped off, but that’s not been possible for me as I work and live in Brooklyn.Overall customer service experience has been a ZERO and I’m STILL out of a bag for the time being...
Embarrassing experience. I ask the price. Every clerk has to keep looking at his mobile phone. I asked a simple question about perfume. he gave me a long time waiting to look at his mobile phone.l choice going to other store shopping/l was to there last week , they maybe don’t need business , The service is basically written on the face. Don’t ask if you don’t buy it, so I went to another store to buy it….shame
Great customer service.I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner.I got what I want in seconds. The lady (I wish I knew her name because she was really sweet: check your camera on who was happily helped me on 10/03/19 at around 4ish. She is awesome!) I got my dream bag with no hassle.
Its an entire experience when you step through the doors of LV. All of the associates are helpful but you are assigned a personal consultant. Youre never rushed or made to feel unimportant. We traveled to NYC from Texas just to shop at all the major design houses. Our consultant was Josephine. Wonderful and friendly. When you decide to take a trip to LV heres a few things to know. 1. Ask for Josephine. 2. Be prepared to drop some serious money AND YOU SHOULD BECAUSE YOURE WORTH IT. !! AND 3. strut your stuff when you carry your Louis Vuitton bags out.
I came in to look for a bag for my friend. As soon as I walked in the guy at the door asked if “ I was looking for anything in particular “ I said I’m looking for a bag for a friend of mine. Unfortunately he didn’t let me know and made me stand at the door while he went to ask someone if they have the bag I’m looking for instead of letting me in the store to look around and speak with a sale rep. I’m very disappointed with the fact he won’t let me in and just made me stand by the door. He really made me feel as if was going to steal something and threatened by my race. Funny enough I left my phone in the car and my relative came to the LV store to find me there and the same guy at the door let him with no issue. While I understand as company you Covid guidelines and letting certain number of people in the store but to have stand at the door while you look for a bag it’s not Covid related. Over all this was very disappointing experience and will never shop there and won’t recommend this location.
I love their bags but I also love the store. Visiting here is a much better experience all around the scenery the atmosphere and everything else just makes it more than just a quick purchase, it’s a complete experience. The staff is also very helpful and extremely courteous and polite. It’s one place that even if it’s crowded I’ll never mind shopping there.
Rude employees who pretend to be better than their costumers and instead of acting politely they find a way to “humiliate” them. Also they offer this “1:1 service” ( they call it that way) but in reality is a time share high pressure car salesman cheap tactic. No other store on 5th does it but they pretend as if is high end. Tip: when someone goes to a store they wanna buy what they want not what your sales people think is cool. Cheap, degrading, “time share sale- like” experience. I leave nearby but i’ll go elsewhere for my leather products.
Only LV store i can really and truly see great customer service! They don’t play when it comes to giving customers such a great shopping experience !Everyone is so pleasant and in such a great mood ! And of course ! My SA ! PABLO ! Is so great and most importantly patient ✨definitely recommend him !
Great experience everytime. Social distancing was implemented while be escorted around the store. The shopping experiences very personal and I felt at home. You dont need to physically carry merchandise around the store until youve made your purchase. I love the quality of Louis Vuitton leather products, Looking fashion forward to my next arrival.
Over the years, I have been a really good customer at LV but unfortunately I had this terrible customer service at 57th street.We ordered a Sac Chien 40 MNG through Client advisor Stephanie Villarreal on 9/30/2020. It’s been 17 days and we never receive it. I called customer service a week ago, she informed they were going to check and call me back, nobody called. I called again today, she said there was only an order deposit. Our client advisor never follow up with us about our purchase, giving us a poorly customer service. I would never recommend this store.
My husband took me here for my birthday present. We had a wonderful experience. My sale associate was so patient and helpful to me. I was able to pick out a wallet after looking at 10 different wallets that she brought out. I appreciated. My husband also got his first LV wallet as well. We’re both very happy with our purchases.

Offered me a drink and a seat. Introduced me to other associates. Made me feel welcome and valued. Have never been treated so kindly in a luxury store of this level.
Iconic brand with best in class products, for fashion faithfuls of all ages, taste and creed worldwide. Products on offer are second to none and continue to be a collectors delight. Shop is well laid out with different sections for men and women. Staffs are well equipped in the art of making you appreciate the uniqueness of their products/services/brand. Overall shopping experience is very positive.
I visited to refill my perfume from Louis Vuitton. It was about 10 minutes before store closing but the staffs were welcoming me and super friendly. While waiting for my refilled perfume staffs were eager to helping me test other scents. They were very much well trained to give me full information of the perfumes.
Only the elite and those that can afford it should shop here - Im happy that it excludes the lower end rabble of society. Its one of my favorite places when I need my goat scented parfum for a night out clubbing and dining at high end restaurants. Louie Vitton is the best store to get dressed up to the 9s.
I visited this store on December 8, 2019 with the sole purpose of purchasing the Tambour Horizon smart watch. Upon entering the store I was greeted by an attendant and expressed interest in purchasing the watch. He kindly directed me to the second floor where it was located. I found it a bit odd that I wasnt introduced to a salesperson but I followed instructions and before taking a couple of steps, another attendant intervened and he then introduced to me a salesperson. The salesperson was polite and escorted me to the watch display area. I purchased a watch and the checkout process was reasonable. After a day of trying to charge the watch it was clear the the watch or charger was defective. I returned to the store today to exchange the watch. I explained my situation and was told to wait for a manager and was offered water during the wait. I was later greeted by the manager with a new watch to exchange. After a brief dialogue he mentioned that he had not exchanged the charger. I found it odd and requested that he exchange the charger as well because it was unclear if the watch or charger was defective. I also mentioned that I live 2 hours away and returning to the store a 3rd time would not be an option. He mentioned there is a serial number or sku on the charger and implied it was a process to exchange it. I asked if he can at least test the watch and ensure it charges properly. He agreed, went to the rear of the store and returned with the good news that the watch charges and all seems well. He also agreed to give me his business card so I can have direct access to a manager if I have any further difficulties. He was kind and courteous and I was satisfied with customer service at that point. I decided to purchase sunglasses while he updated my profile and warranty on the new watch. I arrived home a short while ago and unpack-aged the watch only to realize I was given a used watch. The watch does not have the protective plastic, it has signs of wear, and the settings show previous connection to wifi and a cell phone. Additionally, my bag does not contain the managers business card. My anger has now transitioned to disappointment. My experience at this store was absolutely terrible.
Took my never full bag in to have it repaired, was told they would fix a handle that was broken, then I didn’t receive communication about the status of the bag so I came in six weeks later to discover that nothing had been fixed and they refused to repair it entirely due to ‘cracked canvas’ (all of this communicated when I picked up the bag by an associate who was incredibly terse and unapologetic, original associate was kind and confident that the handles at minimum could be repaired). I don’t understand the value of ‘lifetime’ repairs if staff refuse to make said repairs? Now I have a bag that is unusable due to the broken handle (which literally snapped in half as I was walking one day). Incredibly frustrating experience and will keep me from shopping at LV going forward as this is the first time I needed help repairing an item and it spoke volumes as to the true value they place on long-term customers.
Literally the worst customer service ever. I ordered a bag for my mom for Christmas on 12/13 and was told it could be shipped to Michigan (where I live) in 3-5 business days. A few days after the bag was supposed to be delivered, I called customer service. The guy told me that he couldnt find the location of it but that the shipping carrier would reach out to me that day. After not hearing back that evening I called again and was told the same thing but that it takes 24-48 hours to hear back. It just didnt seem right that they couldnt locate a $2,000 bag. I called a third time since it was two days before Christmas and this time a lady told me that my order had been cancelled and that she didnt know why the first two people I had talked to that day hadnt known that. What the heck. How could I have not been informed? I still havent been refunded my money and its been two weeks now. Every time I call customer service Im told that a request will be submitted to the store. Ive called and called and emailed and emailed and I get nowhere. Im truly mind blow a company like this would have this kind of customer service. How disappointing. I will keep calling every day until I get my money back.
Had an amazing experience at this store! Although the store was incredibly crowded, my SA was very patient, friendly, personable and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Since I dont live near an LV store, most of my purchases have been through the LV website, so it was so much fun to try on the different styles in person before making a purchase.
So unprofessional!! They sold me a bag that had a missing component so I texted the person who had sold me that bag. He said if I could go back to the store and he said he would let the store know in advance before I got there. When I got to the store, I was approached by their so called “Senior Manager” Martin Hoegan and was treated with disrespect. After making me wait for more than 30 minutes, they basically accused me of stealing? Like what?? LV stores in California and other LV stores in other parts of the world have WAY better customer service.. please take notes New York. Unbelievable.
Use covid as loss prevention method..... smh cant shop with oit a representative.... Placed an order paid for it made an appointment to pick it up arrived couldnt get in the store made me wait for the sales person that sold it to me waited about 1 hour and a half and still to no avail any sales person could of grabbed it bagged it.... I just asked for a refund funny how they were able to find some1 to do the return.
Of course the product is of the highest quality, but the store itself is beautifully put together. The displays are always thoughtful and chic, and the service here is excellent. Never had one nasty sales person approach me even if I was just browsing. Great store and great customer service.
Poor service. Bag was defective after having used it for one month with minimal use. Their so called workshop took 6-8 weeks to analyze my bag and tell me there was nothing they could do to fix it. So they sent it back to me to pick up. Impossible to reach the store’s client services.
Bought a purse and wallet and subsequently had to return the wallet. Everyone in the store was very friendly, offered me water, showed me anything I asked to see, and did not pressure me at all when I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy something. That can be a rare experience in some stores like this, as many sales associates are just looking for a commission.
After much anticipation for many years and at great expense to the sum of more than $2600.00 I am deeply disappointed to say the very least in not just the products but also the service that I and my other half received from the Orlando Mall Of Millenia Louis Vuitton Store provided as they showed little care or concern or value for anything other than our money... We had a sales associate that showed us everything under the sun trying for us to spend thousands of dollars over and above what the original purchase was to be for and than tried to change our mind several times on things we were purchasing at the same time ... Once our purchase was finalized we were promised our things would be monogrammed and ready for pick up the following day only to find out that after 1.5 hours of travel time to the store in rush hour traffic to get to the store before it closed and waiting in the line to get into the store approximately 35 additional minutes after we both were told that we could come right in and pick up our items so not only does this store have very little regard for its customers, they lie about their processes, they disregard your concerns that you have, and the only thing they value is your money and nothing else... I am beyond disgusted and I am beyond frustrated and to be honest would not recommend anyone patronize this location for Louis Vuitton.
I am still in Far East, but somebody asked me to make a comment about this store. It is very good and expensive as any other Louis Vuitton all over the world, but with a small difference. Either in USA or France, there are products made in Europe you will find ONLY in USA OR FRANCE, especially Paris.That’s the catch, there are some products designed only for the American market (about 10%) for the rest you won’t find in America or France, they will be shown in any other country, depending on the season.
Ok so the customer service here is on another level. Although the bag prices are high, the quality is superb! If you dont see a bag you like, you can order it and they can either mail it to you or you can come and pick it up another day. They also do initial names on bags or on tags. Super organized and exclusive. Definitely a place to purchase from.
Dealing with staff on the upper floors was completely different experience than dealing with the staff on the first floor.The first floor was in complete madhouse of people and the sales lady literally elbowed the other sales guy out of the way to get to me... but she ended up seeing a long-time customer and completely ignoring me all within 5 minutes.Upper floors had exceptional staff.

Went there 7 days ago, bought 2 pairs of mens shoes for $1765.00. Then salesman tells me they dont have any boxes for the shoes. Seems kind of ridiculous, but I store my shoes in the boxes and for that much money, kind of feel like they should come in a box. Salseman tells me he will just overnight them with a box and we can expect them on monday. Charges my account. Well, 7 days later, no shoes. Called customer service twice because you cant call this store directly and was told they have no information, no tracking number and they cant do anything, but will have the store reach out to me directly. Never heard from the store. Now am going through my American express to get my money back. Would never shop in this store again. Better off just buying them online.
I always love the 5th Ave store; its one of my favorites in the world. This trip I met a lovely SA names Rachel up in the customer service office on the fourth floor and was so pleased with her help. I brought one bag in for repair, which she took care of promptly, then she helped me make some other selections to add to my collection. My visit during this recent trip to the city was certainly on par with the fabulous service I have always experienced at this store.
In store shopping at Louis Vuitton is a truly unique experience. I recommend making reservation if you plan to make an in-store purchase in order to get the full VIP treatment. They cater to your needs such as offering complimentary libations and fine chocolate and organize and display items. My SA ran behind our appointment but they are real engaging.
Went to the flagship store on 5th avenue this past Friday with my wife and our sales associate ZiXuan Lou went above and beyond to meet our needs . My wife purchased a bag and was having some complications with the lock & Zixuan was readily available to assist her even after hours. Impeccable customer services will definitely stop by anytime we visit NYC.
SA service was very poor compared to other LV stores that I have been to. Lots of SAs standing around chatting and not interested in helping us - we had to go and ask someone to assist us so we could buy things..We bought a bag and a key holder and I will say that the man who hotstamped them (he wasnt an SA, he was in Client Services) was amazing - super friendly and took some time to give us a show of the building and some history of the brand.
The sales associates at this store are super friendly and helpful! I felt very comfortable in this location, unlike some other LV stores Ive visited. With smiles on their faces and a willingness to go out of their way for you as a customer, this is how LV associates SHOULD be!! Great service as well as selection! Im happy :)
You have lost a valuable customer today. Entered the store and was greeted normally like in all of Europes stores. Niceness and pro-activity stopped there. Ascended to the 1st floor as I was interested in purchasing a bagage case and a mens wallet, and no help was given by the floor employees, waited and waited until I gave up. It was like I was invisible. Will take my business elsewhere...!
Extremely bad service. Attitude and ignorance. Refusing to sell me products that I KNOW they sell to others; it’s disgusting. I went to Macy’s instead who were fantastic but these experiences put you off the brand to be honest- would think of Gucci or an alternative in future!
Worst customer service from any luxury brand anywhere! Almost none of the staff said hello,especially this black guy who stands in front of the elevator on the 2nd floor. He gave me a quick backward nod...I am not your homeboy. The sales woman with long black hair on the 2nd floor was one of a few that actually behave like someone who works for high end fashion house, also a gentleman on the 1st floor in fragrance section was very nice. Ive had better experience from TJ Maxx sales reps. Train your staff better!

This store is a JOKE. I got a 1000 dollars shoes as a gift for my birthday a couples days before the actual day so I decided to actually wear it for my special celebration. I put the shoes on around 9 PM and took them off at 1 AM thats it. The shoes look OK but it literally destroyed my feet. There was a very sturdy line on the shoes right below my toes and as I walked it made a cut on both my feet like a real cut Im not kidding. I took pics and sent to my friends the next day showing what happened and I was cool about it no problem. So I went to the store with the receipt showing the shoes were bought only a couples days before and showed them what did to my feet (was wearing sandals because of it). The first reaction of the sales person (she was polish/russian) Oh we cant exchange it! You wear it outside I was like Yeah! Of course I worn it outside lol You could see the shoes were worn once look like new just very little dirt like dust on the bottom. So I asked them to either exchange or give store credit and they refused. So I asked for a manager and apparently she was busy so they send me a manager wanna be African American and very very rude. She told me that they could have my shoes and put on a machine to stretch and then maybe if it didnt work they could think of giving me a refund. So I was like so if it cuts my feet one more time youll think of a refund? Nice! She laughed in my face. So I left the store because I was not in the mood to be discussing this. I tried next day to call Louis Vuitton Client Service. Another joke. After 25 minutes of wait I was said the same thing If I wear it outside they cant grant a return/exchange Yeah Like you will wear it inside only lol I then called the store and asked to spoke to the manager who was always busy and avoided at all costs to talk to me. I left several messages and they never got back to me. I also sent an email to their client services with all the pictures and explaining politely what happened. Received another rude treatment, they started the email saying Louis Vuitton uses the best quality products blah blah meaning it was my fault I guess. After 3 days trying to do it I gave up because I have more important things to do in life then fight for shoes. Remember that all of these interactions were conducted very politely and with respect from my end but I guess I should be more the type who scream at peoples faces that would get me that refund lol. Now I have a pair of shoes I worn once which cost 1000 dollars its hilarious! Till to this day I cannot believe that I got such treatment after getting an expensive pair of shoes. Never came back and refuse to buy anything from LV.
Far expensive than in Europe, ridiculous prices, poor quality goods. I got my keep all few years ago. Not used regularly and almost broken. Check the insides of the keep alls, seems not finished and even a single pocket inside for your belongings. THATS RIDICULOUS! also you can buy it to any black men in any corner of NY... where’s the “luxury”?!
I wish I can give a 0 star.I bought a wallet from here 2.5 months ago and still have not recieved my wallet.So I walked in and purchased a wallet. I often bought product and had no problems so I asked the lady to ship the wallet to my house.After 3 attempts to my house the wallet was never delivered because i wasnt home and someone had to sign for the item. I tried to change the address with the carrier but they would not change it.So after patiently waiting I called Louis Vuitton and asked where my wallet was after a month and they informed me that Cameron signed for it. I told them I do not know a Cameron and the lady at customer service told me never mind that is someone at the store. So I asked her the wallet is at the store? Then she said she is not sure and will email the store because the store does not have a phone number because the store is so busy???? In what world do they not have a store phone number? Then she told me someone will call within 24 hours.. and of course no one called me.. then I called again after a week then something! Was told I would be contacted within 24 hours and never did. So the third time I called after 3 days I was enraged so I asked the customer service lady where my wallet was and she informed me it was at the store or she was pretty sure it was at the store. LOL pretty sure it was there? So last week I went to Louis vuitton back in New York and asked for my wallet. After 30 mins of searching for my wallet and talking to the general manager there they told me they cannot find my wallet and if they cant theyll send me a new one with next day shipping. I even got a text message from my saleswoman saying she will send my wallet next day.. that was supposed to be 4 days ago.. the worst customer service I have experienced in a while. How do you sell a premium product and cant get anything right? Hopefully one day I can get my wallet in the mean time I will be contacting my credit card and reporting that louis Vuitton wrongfully charged my credit card. This is so ridiculous whoever Cameron is my saleswoman and the general manager definitely should be fire.
I was trying to make a return for a lv purse and wallet that I purchased with cash. At first, I tried to return it at the Lv store in Soho, then they told me they dont have $2500 cash in the store and sent me to go the Lv store on 5th Ave. Again, here they told me the same thing. I mean, what in the world is going on. Lv is a luxury brand yet they dont even have enough cash in stores for their costumers to make returns. Doesnt this sound ridiculous? Youre selling thousands of dollars yet you dont have $2500 in store for a refund? I felt so frustrated because I had to come again to make this return which waisted me 5 hrs and not to mention the money spent on the cab from Soho to 5Th ave. Its just the worst experince.
Got my first LV purse with Adam. He was very attenting even though there were a lot of customers waiting for him. I told him I will be looking around and he said no lol that he was with us and he answered all of our questions. Never felt pressured to get a product and showed me whatever I wanted to see. Very friendly atmosphere and gave us plenty of water lol and after our purchase, offered us champagne. I will definitely be back to this boutique. Thank you Adam!!!
If i could give ZERO star i would. Horrible customer service and the rep wouldnt give me the prior persons name who i spoke to and gave me the incorrect information wasting my time and my assistants time. She sound very rude and cocky. I bought a bag here a few years back and it broke badly and needed repair. When item returned thats where everything goes downhill. Finally got the supervisors name Candace and I was informed she is very very busy. I sent my Chanel earring for repair last month and the service was wonderful and this Louis Vuitton store doesnt deserve its clients with all the terrible customer service. Will not buy anything from this store again and prob wont buy anything from Louis Vuitton ever either. There are other many high end luxury brands, this one is not what i see a good brand anymore.
Walking in to this store can be quite nerve racking as your mind automatically thinks that the staff and customer are all judging you, wondering if you can afford the product. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff was here.The only thing I didnt like was that there was A LOT of staff, all watching every move you make. I get that they dont want theft but come on!! Let me shop without feeling like Im on an episode of Big Brother!!
Although I love the brand, I find the staff working here quite arrogant or passive as they don’t really try to accommodate you and you are left alone completely. But as soon as you’re talking about potentially buying it, they start being pushy. Though I can say that almost about any luxury store
I was a regular customer and never take the time to write a bad review, unfortunately you just lost a good customer for a simple exchange from a purchase done 1 day ago. The not acceptable excuse from your store manager was that it had a perfume smell, mind you it was never even worn by me and how many customers walk in your store that use perfume and try the scarf around there neck... Its un acceptable and really upsetting that a store like Louise Vuitton wont exchange for another store item and use such poor judgement. I own a chain of 11 restaurants and every complain is addressed to avoid bad reviews & lose customers. Never in my life have I taken the time to write a bad review but this one well deserved it! Will never be back at any of your stores and will make sure it gets published on all your online marketing along with a report to the Better Business Bureau!
After reading all these feedbacks/Ratings from other customers and been able to experience it myself its sad to say its true Staff here arent courteous as other LV ibe been to like for example the one in Garden State Plaza NJ they are so polite and so cool offer you water ect.... These people would really make you feel like if they are doing you a huge favor but its not all of them. I noticed other ones were actually very nice with there customers like for example it was a rainy day and the gentlement that was taking care of the person next to me, he got them plastica transparent bags to protect bags from rain but mines didint even bye....
Joei Huang is the best. He always gave me 5 star VIP treatment. The shopping experience reminds me of the flagship store on Champs Elysees except for the long line thet have in Paris. Helena Hui and Dominique Waters are also some of my favorite sale associates. Overall best LV store in all NYC mind you I visited all of them. Everyone is nice there. So it’s worth the long commute for the fantastic experience if you don’t live in NYC. Go there on a Sunday less traffic more parkings.
I love I love I love I love I love I love Louis VVVVuiton.I recently bought a tie a suit, shoes and a bag and I paid it all offwith my creditcard. I tried not to smile in front of the cash desk but of course its difficult on those moments. I called my pesonal driver, I was driven by a Ferrari in New York and especcially the bad roads in the city didnt improve the problems with buttocks, but I ordered my driver to aquire the maximum speed on fifth avenue without hitting objects. I was fun. The only problem was I put the suit over the engine in the back of the car and it was totally burned. SHAME ON YOU LOUIS the quality of this suit is worse than the gold plating on my FERRARI!
Update2 years later and still much better than other luxury stores here in NYC very helpful and precise meaning they understand what you want and do the best to help find/buy what you want not push you to buy something you dont like or wantThis is the louis vuitton store you want to visit/make a purchase every one has a smile employees and customers free champagne and soft drinks and designer products are great alone but add awesome employees who actually help you and want to serve you the best
Excellent service and amazing clothing for those who love fashion, since you walk in the store , you feel like a celebrity , no joke , this is one of my favorite brand and locatuon as well, anybody would love to go here , theres nothing better than a excellent service and clothe at the same time , clothes that you would never find somewhere else .

2022-04-19For a weekend the wait to be helped wasnt long. It was about a 45 minute wait, I was asked for my phone number and I received a text when the attendant was almost ready for me. The store is a stones throw away from Central Park so you can easily take a small stroll. The salesperson was very helpful in helping me get exactly what I needed,showed me plenty of options and after the purchase, gave me cleaning instructions and what to do if the product were to ever be damaged. Great experience.

2022-07-25I just wrote a review for the Dior close to this store (it wasnt a good review) and it made me remember how lovely my experience with this store was. Me and my sister came in to ask what the most expensive item was as we spent the day doing so at multiple stores. The worker we talked to was by far the most incredible and kind person we met that day and I think about him often. He told us what the most expensive item was and its history along with some cool people hes met on the job and their items history as well. Im only 16 and I personally couldnt afford anything there but if I had just the right amount of money to buy something that man would have sold me on it with his amazing service. Great store!

2022-06-03I purchased a pair of LV Trainers online, and when I tried them on at home I realized that I had definitely ordered the wrong size. I went to the boutique to exchange them for a smaller size, I was helped by Andre, super nice and friendly guy. Exchanging a pair of sneakers for a different size couldn’t have been easier. I got the right size for my trainers and walked out of there completely satisfied with the level of professionalism and the customer service treatment I received from everyone at the store. I will for sure go back to purchase more items. Thank you!

2022-06-27What a disappointing experience at this store! For a luxury brand I expected so much more! The salesperson seemed as if he didn’t want to bother with us, as if asking him to show us a bag was too much trouble for him. He was not knowledgeable about the bags either. I have felt more attended to with salespeople way more knowledgeable at lower end (i.e. less expensive) brand stores. LV… you need to train your salespeople better if you expect someone to want to buy a $2-6k bag and should always make customers feel welcomed in your store. For high end luxury, you should make your customers feel more appreciated!

2022-03-30I was kicked out because I had no intention of buying anything that day.I was not allowed to look (as with any normal shopping, and dont talk to me about a luxury boutique, I was perfectly able to look and move around as I wanted at Gucci).The saleswoman was pushy, rude and looked down on me when she realized I had no intention of buying anything directly.They are snobs and intolerant...I am nevertheless clean on me, well dressed, respectful and I have perfectly the means to buy their products...Disapointed.

2022-06-14On 6/12/22 at around 3:30pm I entered the store to purchase a pair of 1.1 Million sunglasses. The store associate was much less friendly than the usual experience I get at the Charlotte, NC location. When we went to wrap up the purchase she asked if I would be interested in ready to wear. I said I was not and she made a comment asking if I only purchased small accessories. I took this as a fairly insulting comment as it seemed she was implying I only was there to make small purchases. After I made the purchase I went back to where I was staying and tried them on and realized they weren’t going to be the best fit for me.The very next day I went back to the store with all original packaging and receipt. I was assigned a store associate who then unboxed the sunglasses and took a look at them. She then called over what seemed to be a store manager to take a look at them. She was not friendly in the slightest and did not introduce herself. She seemed annoyed I was attempting a return and asked why I didn’t like them. I explained my reasoning and she immediately said they had smudges on the frame. Her and the previous associate had handled them more than I had between them two alone. She did not mention any scratching, nicks, or damage, only smudging. I explained that I had not had the chance to really wear them as it was cloudy the day I purchased them. She then quickly snapped back at me that the sun did indeed come out later in the day. She then proceeded to explain to me that it doesn’t matter the weather, people wear their sunglasses any time. This response was completely unacceptable. I couldn’t believe that she was actually arguing with me over the weather. She essentially called me a liar. She spent the next 10 minutes rubbing the glasses with the case and continually shaking her head and sighing. She then processed the return and handed me the receipt. It was a completely valid return and she knew that.I could understand if the return was after a few weeks, but it had only been 24 hours. It’s absurd to me that a company would sell sunglasses for nearly $1,000 but not stand behind a proper return. This experience has completely turned me off from making future purchases from LV.

2022-06-28Like many others, I had a less than desirable experience at LV. My friends and I were asked if we were looking for anything in particular. We said not really, just that I wanted to look at bags and my friend wanted to look at wallets. (Key word ‘look’) We were told we’d get an associate to help us.The associate started off friendly, we thanked him, and said we would let him know if we needed anything. He proceeded to follow us around (which I didn’t like and found very uncomfortable) but I figured he was staying close in case we needed him.He wasn’t engaging with us and was on his phone, but I didn’t really care, we didn’t need help. After the first two floors we didn’t like anything but wanted to see the rest of the store before leaving. We proceeded upstairs and he immediately began talking with another employee, showing them videos. He then said rather loudly and rudely, “they don’t need my help, thought I’m supposed to be selling stuff.” It was clear shade and unnecessary.I fully understand he is at his job and his role is in fact to sell merchandise. He probably gets commission so he wants to sell items, I totally get it. However, we did not ASK for him to follow us around and we did not say we were going to buy things. I’m not sure if it’s LV’s policy that these associates have to be with you until you leave the store, but we were perfectly fine with him going to help others who in fact might buy something. Our visit was short, and since we had no intention of buying things we looked and we’re on our way so others could go in. As we were leaving he gave us the dirtiest glare and didn’t say goodbye. Did not experience this at any other luxury fashion brand.LV is over priced, overrated, and fits the snotty fashion stereotype. Tip: if you want to trick people into paying thousands for ugly, overvalued items, maybe try being nicer about it…..
