Well, this is the 2nd time that Louis Vuitton has disappointed me. The first time was last year with my phone case. Within the first 3 months, the case ripped, I was told they could repair it, they returned it to me more damaged and unrepairable.The 2nd time at the White Plains location, I left right after work to return an item that I purchased online using PayPal. I was told I could return it at any store location. I had done it at another location without an issue, so I wasn’t concerned. I arrived at 5:20pm , I was told it was a 15-20 min wait. I waited for a text, but got nothing. I returned at 6:45, the store had closed, but they let me in...only to tell me they couldn’t take the return despite the fact that I confirmed it with Brittany before I even checked in. The manager was rude and dismissive.
Such an inconvenience as I’m walking away from the store while typing this review. I waited on line while the woman at the front had a 20 minute conversation with a man to then tell me they had no more reservations available for the night. It would’ve taken all of a second to excuse yourself and tell us that rather than have us wait. My purchase was a guaranteed sale they had the bag I wanted and I even asked if they could just ring me up and bring the bag out. I’m no longer interested in purchasing the bag.
My family and I ONLY come to this location because we have had a consistent great experience. Miguel is soo patient with my aunt who has a lot of questions (haha) and he is extremely knowledgable. We are always taken care of and never rushed out of the store. Highly recommend coming to LV in The Westchester if youre looking for a gift or something special for yourself - you will not be disappointed!
Walked in the store and were greeted and attended to immediately. Miguel helped me and my lady and was very patient, helpful and understanding. A model sales person which other sales people should aim to be like when wanting to purchase something in a luxury store. I would definitely return with the service I received. The store was very nice and clean and lots of beautiful items.
I would first like to say that I almost never post reviews about places, but how this place made me feel Has lead me to take the time to write this. I am beyond upset. I will walk you through my interaction with this place step by step.I bought two Louis Vuitton bags for my wife for a early birthday because I’m being sent away for over 6 months to the army. I purchased these items on the 5th Avenue store downtown Manhattan (treated great there). I then decided to change one of the items for something better and had my wife accompany me to exchange this item in the white plains Louis Vuitton store. Upon arriving there I was stopped by a lady at the front door telling me that they are not seeing anymore people because they have 2 people on hold and were closing at 7. We arrived there at 6:30 and the store only had 1 customer inside. I expressed to the lady that I traveled all the way over there from the Bronx because this is the only store nearby that I can get to in time.She then said that I can wait on the side to see if she can squeeze me in before they close but was persistently trying to convince me to come another day. What comes next is what really upsets me.Considering what is happening all over the states , I experienced extreme disrespect from the lady at the door towards my wife and I, and to the black people I saw who were oblivious to what just happen to them but I was very visual. I am Puerto Rican and my wife is Belizean. While I waited to get seen a Caucasian lady walked up a few minutes before close wanting to return an item and the same lady that told us that she didn’t have any space for anyone else just told her to wait with no issues. I didn’t think nothing of it and continued waiting with my wife. So now the first person (who were two young Caucasian girls) that were on her list of two showed up and the lady in the front door let them in with no problem. Then the second person in her list comes(white guy) and same lady lets him in. This is when Me and my wife start to get upset. A black lady comes to the store to purchase a bag but the lady in the front did not let her in, instead she brings the product outside In front of everyone to display to the customer. The transaction proceeded and the Lady at the door takes her payment outside in front of everyone. Then a black guy comes to the store to pick up a bag and he was also told he has to wait outside, A male consultant brought out his product and sent him on his way all while being outside the store. After that happens she then takes care of my wife and I under the same limitations of the other black people serviced prior. She brought out the product we were interested in purchasing and displayed it in such a nonchalant demeanor in front of people not a care of how uncomfortable we may be feeling. My wife frustrated just took a quick look at it and said that’s fine to just get out of that situation. So the lady then goes inside and comes back outside to take our payment of the exchange pricing difference.she then takes our payment outside once again in front of people. While she was taking our payment I asked her for the manager and she said she was the manager. I also asked why is it that we are doing this complete transaction outside not inside in a private setting she said that due to the fact that they are booked for the night she was doing us a favor by squeezing us in and assisting us outside. She kept saying that we can be booked for another day to have the full purchasing experience in the store.After i finished my transaction I walked away but continued looking back at the store. As I walk away I noticed that the lady let the white lady who came after me into the store. The lady was just doing a returned but was let in. This is someone who is not purchasing an item like the two black people before me and my wife. This is beyond disrespectful but discrimination clearly. This has given me a bad taste in my mouth that my money and the two black peoples money do not deserve the same treatment as the white people who were taken care of.

I called for a bag I want to buy for my wife and do curbside pick up. I was sent a link to for the bag it was declined then approved to purchase from my bank but kept getting declined. First my name was spelled wrong and I never received a email to purchase then after calling my bank then going back and forth with Jakie supposedly the manager they went on to tell me my address didnt match my card which Ive used numerous times and the address was correct and the funds were available. But still nothing long story short the customer service was horrible and Jakie wasiwas and couldnt make a simple transaction now Im stuck trying find a way to get this bag when the online store does not have it in stock horrible customer service and the associates are clueless good luck I just wasted two days and couldnt even get the bag. Will never shop there again and you shouldnt either.
Absolutely my favorite store . Everyone always extremely helpful and polite . Nicest people . I always shop with Sherma . Shes my girl . But if shes busy I dont mind to waiting for her . Just being in LV store very Zen like for me . I like seeing stores busy and doing business . If we have to wait other sales ppl always bring us some sparkling water to make us feel like we are part of the family :-) . I think this store is the sweetest and super professional one ! My second favorite 5th Ave store but its far for me little .
My 2nd time here only due to convenience. My fiance and myself have purchased 2 bags and 2 wallets and both times weve gotten poor service. Employees are unprofessional slow not welcoming at all especially for the amount of money weve paid. A complete difference from the LV store in Manhattan where you are greeted and offered sparkling water, champagne.. but nope not at the LV at The Westchester. Weve asked for sparkling water after purchasing 2 items and flat tap water in a cup was brought out.. what a joke! Well itll be my last purchase from this location, Ill just go for the longer commute into Manhattan but at least Ill get phenomenal service.
My husband and I visited the White Plains store on September 9, 2018 in search of a birthday gift for myself. From the time we walked into the store we were followed throughout the entire store. Everywhere we browsed, security was an arms length away. My husband eventually became extremely agitated so we left the store. Which unfortunately meant I had to leave my birthday gift that I have wanted for years on the counter. I guess black people will always be the target.
Terrible customer service. No one greets you when you first walk in the store, you have to approach them. The employees dont even know the status of their goods. I was told a bag was discontinued, and when I called the number on the website, they said it was just out of stock at the moment. Another bag they said was discontinued was available for sale on their website. Not very friendly or inviting. I guess they figure people will buy the brand anyway.
Worst experience !!!! I bought a wallet as a Christmas gift, the sales assistant couldn’t have been less helpful or intersted in helping. I figured can’t let it get to me, so dispite my better judgement I went back to this store to buy a bag I had been eyeing. This time the sales assistant was a bit better but when I get home I realize my brand new bag had been shoved in a box that’s clearly to small for the size of the bag & in order to get the box closed it was wrapped tightly with a ribbon. Needless to say I will be going back to get this corrected & won’t be coming back to this store ever. I will be buying my wallet at a different location.
This LV sore is lacking in professionalism, the ladies are a tad bit sour. Its as if youre wasting their time asking a question. I only go to that store to look, if Im going to buy I visit the LV in SAKS on 59th street. Better service and the items are new and not used. LV should only use the showcase items as such, not to sell. Too many hands touching what is supposed to be your personal item. Go to that LV store to look; be careful buying- they are not accommodating with returns or repair.
Came in to the store to get my bag repaired, waited on line for almost 30 min, I used the bag maybe about 4-5 times (55 travel) the snap came off by the shoulder strap, looked like it was improperly installed, was told it would take 6-8 weeks to repair, witch sounded ridiculous but at that time I didnt have any travel plans, about two weeks later my plans changed so I figured I would call and see if I could get it sooner, and was told very quickly that wasnt an option and that they take pride in their merchandise ......thats why a $2000 bag broke after being used handful of times(very disappointing)
I’m reading these reviews and I honestly believe every negative review. They are racist at the loui vutton store in the westchester mall. They treat black people very different from how they treat white people and it’s very noticeable. They make the black people wait for a long period of time to get into the store or they tell you a lie of why they can’t let you in for the day. They follow you around the store very differently form how they may follow a white person. If everyone start recording and posting up on social media, write letters to the corporate office then it will bring awareness to this serious matter. It’s unacceptable. If you are racist, stay out of jobs where you have to interact with people of different nationalities. Simple!

2022-02-24I bought a wallet here this morning, but the service attitude of the shopping guide is very bad. She told me her name is Sherma, Im not sure if its the right name, because the purse I bought had scratches, so I asked to replace it, but she didnt check it and said it was out of stock! When I insisted on changing other styles, I found that there was a wallet of the same style in the store

2022-05-13Well I got here 30 minutes ago. Three people have been let in before me. Maybe I don’t look like I have money. Wrong assumption. I’m still sitting on the chairs outside waiting to be let in. Don’t assume that people of color don’t have money. Very insulted.

2022-01-14Recent policy changes at this store mean you have to have an appointment to get inside, you cant just walk in and you may be turned away, asked to wait for hours, or told to come back another day. When you do get inside, everything they show you is just in and theyre lucky to have it in stock. I dont know if they are trying to instill a sense of fear of missing out: to get people to buy but it is off-putting for me personally. If you MUST buy LV, use the store to see what you like (assuming you can get in) and buy online. At least that way if you need to do a return you can return online and wont have to waste your Saturday begging them to let you in.

2022-03-01I was at the LV store in white plains westchester , the security guard with the suit made me feel uncomfortable by every where I go and he keep follow me . And it isn’t only me in the store , the security guard needs a better training to not make customers feel uncomfortable. I will not go shipping in the store no more .

2021-12-12I drove to the Westchester mall today prepared to spend $4K on the pink coussin bag. I was told I had to wait 25-30 mins to enter the store, meanwhile about 5 people were exiting at this same time. I had dinner plans so could not wait the requested amount of time to which I explained to the door girl. Nothing changed and wait time requested remained the same. Gucci next door were letting people walk in their store without issue. This was very frustrating and solidified my decision to put that money towards the Chanel bag I’ve been wanting to buy instead of another LV. If I’m going to spend thousands of dollars on a bag, I do not expect to be told I have to wait 30 mins to do so. I will take my money elsewhere. I know, #champagneproblems ..but still!!

2021-10-14I wish this review was something pleasant but unfortunately it’s not. I’ve shopped in this store prior and I’m not sure if it’s COVID or just the policies they have enforced but the vibe is definitely not the same. First they ask you at the door what are you there for and then check you in so an associate can escort you in the store. While I was there to pickup a bag that they were unable to repair, which we all know was in the $$$ - they had no other suggestions on how to get it fixed. Secondly I was with my son who has ASD and stimming in his space not bothering anyone and they looked confused. I never fault people for not knowing but at times silence is worse. Finally I was not even asked if I wanted to take a look around the store. I was given my bag that was not repaired and escorted out.I definitely not will be shopping in this location in the future. As a long time invested customer I felt very offended this evening. I will be writing a letter to their corporate office.

2021-09-30Never shopped for a bag before. Bought one for my wifes 40th! Yep I know. She appreciated it, too. Veronica assisted me. I told her the kind of bag my wife had. She showed me some options. They were over my budget but one was so nice. Black leather. I had to get it. She loved it. Everyone here is so nice. Thats great customer service. Which of course you would expect at an LV store. I just wanted to point it out. Oh and she took her birthday money and bought the matching wallet.

2021-06-10I am completely disgusted with the lack of follow up from the manager at this store. I purchased a wallet and bag. The wallet was stamped with the incorrect initials. The sales representative was very nice and apologized for the error. I was informed that a wallet would have to be ordered as this was the last wallet at the store. The gentleman that made the mistake also apologized for the error. I was told that it would take about 3-5 days for the wallet to get to the store. I understand that COVID has caused some shipping delays so I gave it a week and a day before calling the store to follow up. Ive now made 5 calls to client services and NO ONE has returned my call. I have been told repeatedly that the message would be sent to the store manager and that I will receive a call back. Client Services has been unable to reach someone at the store. This is just insane. This lack of follow up and customer service is UNACCEPTABLE.
