Honest, thorough, care about getting the diagnosis right and communicate what’s going on in a consistent manner. Lou and his staff are very pleasant to work with. They don’t over charge and they provide loaners so that you can keep your life going while they look at and fix your vehicle.
Lou’s shop is second to none. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient always having the customers best interest in mind. I’ve had numerous friends tell me about Lou’s I’m so glad I chose them and highly recommend them.

I’ve brought my ‘14 BMW 3 series to Lou’s since I bought it as a CPO in 2017. From oil changes, inspections, brake work, body work at Nino’s; you cannot go wrong with Lou’s. The prices are incredibly fair for the workmanship they provide, and their technicians are the most friendly I’ve probably ever worked with - this is coming from somebody who works professionally with hundreds of car dealers across the US. They will always take the time to answer your questions or explain the why behind repairs, which is something I truly appreciate. If you have an import - bring it to Lou’s. I cant thank you enough. Not only is my headlight switch working without tape but my steering wheel is alot better, tighter. I brought my car to Lous to have my rack and pinion replaced and an inspection. After I had already had Pep Boys take a look at it and was going to have them do the repair. But something didnt seem right about it. So I decided to move it to Lous Car Care. They were very honest and thorough. It was exactly as I had expected. The car needed a lot more work than what they were telling me and I could have been in a very dangerous situation with the car at any moment if ai would have jept it on the road. The attention that the service manager gave to me was exactly what I needed to feel more secure about the safety of my vehicle and he was very honest and up front about everything. In the end I ended up buying a new vehicle. I will be a customer for life at Lous and When someone asks me who I would recommend it will be this place. Actually was Nino repair / paint shop next to Lous Car Center we went to. Excellent service and fast turn around and a Stella repair and paint job!! 5 stars all the way around!! Nino is a great guy too, made us feel like a vip customer!! I will always go to Nino for all my vehicles body care!

Bought our car with Lou few weeks ago. It was the most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had. His prices were lowest in 100 miles radius so there was no need to haggle. Plus he is the owner and the finance manager so he can make decisions himself. We were very impressed with his knowledge on cars. There is no sales pressure and you get plenty of time with the cars to yourself to make a decision without hurrying. I would definitely go back there to buy our next car in the future.
I’m not really the type to leave a review (I think this is like the fourth review I’ve ever done) but the experience at Lou’s was so exemplary, I wanted to encourage others to do the same. Buying a car can be so fraught and confusing. We have purchased our family cars from craigslist in the past just to avoid the hassle of anxiety-inducing, over-eager (or downright dishonest) salesman and the price gouging that often occurs at dealerships.From the very beginning, Lou was utterly kind, welcoming, patient, professional and prepared - no detail was overlooked. He went miles above and beyond what I ever expected in a car buying experience - dare I say it was actually enjoyable? In the first draft of this review I started to write some of the many ways that he exceeded our expectations, but the review was beginning to turn into a novel so I had to do some editing.For those looking for a great value, look no further than Lou’s. Not only was the price better than anywhere else we’d seen, the car was in better shape (they immaculately detailed it inside and out TWICE) and had been through more rigorous evaluations in their service department than you would find at any dealership (and certainly any private sale). It was obvious to us that this family business places a much higher value on their place in the community and having happy customers than making a quick buck. They where very helpful and able to get my vehicle in the next day for an oil change and tire rotation. I think the value for the oil change and free tire rotation is great! The link they send to review what the mechanic finds during his inspection is a nice tool.

Over the past couple years, Ive been taking my car to Lous Car Care Center. They are super friendly, provide great service, and are a group of people I can trust. We brought our SUV to lous for work, and are pleased with the work that was done. It is the 1st time for us. Rachel in service did a great job in keeping us informed of the work and in reviewing the invoice and the work which is guaranteed. We were also offered a courtesy car, because of the new years holiday, but did not take it, since we did not need one. This was a nice gesture, because I have not yet encountered a dealer that does this. Thanks for that Lous team. Great job!

Our car broke down on 1-90 on our way to Boston from Rochester and we had to be towed and randomly chose Lous Car Care Center. We were very happy with the service and the friendliness of the staff--their personnel couldnt be nicer or more helpful! They made their priority to get us back on the road home as soon as it was possible. They kept us updated during the process (we needed a new alternator and battery). The price was fair and they even checked out the vehicle and let us know some things that need to be addressed in the near future. The price of service and parts was fair. They even lent us a car and recommendeda nearby cafe in town so we could have a late breakfast. Their facility is very large, clean and comfortable (TV, computer, magazines, coffee) and it makes the wait time goes fast. Its a family owned business. Highly recommended!! Mark & Vanessa. Lous Car Care has been a great place to do business. The news about my car last week wasnt good but it was factual and complete with costs so I could make a decision whether it is time to buy something new. And our experience over several years has been that Lous does great work at fair prices.
It was a amazing experience working with Lou. At first I was just thinking of looking at the car but after speaking with Lou, I knew that I was going to buy my car front him. Lou is very honest and he will not try to hide anything from you like other dealership. He took care of all the papers work for me. The only thing I did was to sign the papers. Before I took the car home, he explained every single step on how to use the car. I been to other dealer ships ;but they always try to get every dollar out of you. I dont know how to explain this but if youre thinking of buying a car, just call and ask to speak with Lou.

Our tire blew out on the way home about 4 hours away from home and we needed to purchase a new tire fast...Lou and his staff were very friendly and informative....clear cut and straight to the point. After I moved to Syracuse area, I was looking for a quality car service shop. I did some research myself and I found this Lous car care center. They are always very very friendly and get their job done. When the service is done, they kindly explain details about the service that they performed. Plus, their repair costs and prices are very reasonable. Also, I like the way they write the car repair costs on the bill statement. It clearly separate from parts and labor. Some car repair shops dont do that. Lastly, they dont recommend services that you do not really need. I have to drive about half an hour from where I live to get Lous car care center, but it is worth driving.
What a great first experience! Were getting our Honda Pilot ready for a family road trip and needed some maintenance so we decided to give Lous a try. Their staff treated us like long-time friends. Kind and patient. They gave me a ride to work when I dropped the car off and kept me in the loop throughout the day. This is what local service is supposed to be like.

I went to Lous for a free healthcare worker oil change. I cant express how much I appreciate the free oil but the fact that I was offered to use one of their vehicles so that I didnt have to wait around and in the rain goes above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Lou Jr. is the most accommodating vehicle sales professional that I have ever dealt with. His showroom, shop, and lot are immaculate with plenty of upscale preowned inventory to choose from. We selected a preowned BMW, and we were given an excellent value for our trade. The vehicle has more bells and whistles than we are used to, and Lou sat with us, synchronized our phones, and taught us everything about the features. The service area is very busy with techs that really know these imports. I could not be happier with the overall experience. I was looking to trade in my almost new 2017 Honda Accord and switch to a BMW. I contacted Lou and he facilitated all of my questions and requests promptly and friendly. Over the course of two weeks, Lou and I had about 75 emails between the two of us. They are always willing to communicate and answer questions. Lou was outstanding in preparing my BMW by changing filters, replacing tires, painting calipers and more. He made the transition from a new car to a used one as easy as possible. Ive had my vehicles serviced at Lous for several years so I already knew that they provided top notch service, but the car buying experience was even better. Lou Jr. was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. Lous only sells high end, gently used vehicles and the VW CC I purchased might as well have been brand new. Unlike larger dealers, the car was delivered in spotless condition with a full tank of gas, and Lou Jr. spent time to show me all of the options on the vehicle. In the future all of my vehicle shopping will start at Lous Care Care.

I was stranded off I90 with my wife and 3 big dogs in my 2011 honda, which had no oil since the drain plug fell out. When they towed my car into Lous shop I thoroughly expected to be taken advantage of. These guys really came through for me. In less than 2 hours we were out the door with the car running fine. I cant stress how honest and helpful they were. If you ever break down and need help, I hope its close to lous or someplace as honest and skilled as these guys. Plus, they were really nice to my dogs too.

Despite being quoted more higher by Lou’s we decided to give them a shot due to the 4.9 rating. All we needed was our alternator replaced. The next morning after picking up our car coincidentally the check engine light came on for the first time since we’ve owned the car in less than a year. We took it back to Lou’s & was told “nope not our fault, nothing we did caused this but it looks like a catalytic converter is needed, Pay us $100-200 more & we’ll figure out what’s going on specially.” We picked our car up and went else where. The new shop told us that whoever previously worked on the car forgot to put the radiator cap on which caused all the coolant to boil out and engine to over heat & that the only other thing wrong was an oxygen sensor.Not sure if it was an honest mistake or a hustle but I won’t be taking any of our cars back.
I heard good things about Lous but when I went there my self I was absolutely shocked in a good way at their professionalism and how much they did for me above and beyond the call of duty. They totally have my loyalty and I tell everyone how great they are ! Trust me , you’ll be in good hands here !

I put 74k miles on my 05 Xterra last year so its fair to say that my car requirred some maintenance in that time. Lous mechanics are top notch and only rivaled by thevcustomer service of the front desk. One time a random noise was acting up in my car so I arrived to Lous unannouced. Luigi asked the raddest mechanic (who was actually eating lunch) to help us. Durring his lunch break this mechanic identifyied the issue right in front of me., explained what the problem and the fixes, and he was incredible polite and undetanding with his explanations. When was the last time you received that kind of courtesey? Lous Auto is a great business and theyll have my patronage for years to come.!

I had vehicle repaired here and they were great and professional. Took me step by step on what was wrong with the car and told me the cost. The price was reasonable compared to other shops. Liked the service so much I bought a hyundai elentra at great place. They treat you like youve been their customer for years even though I was first time cusromer there. I would go there to get all my services done.

Brought my 2005 Honda Civic in for my scheduled service and an issue I have experiencing with my transmission. Unfortunately when Lous called I was told I needed a new transmission. However, Lous staff went the extra mile. They found that Honda had actually extended the remaining warranty on my model Honda and told me the repairs will be covered in full by Honda. That would have costed me over $3500. I cant thank then enough for there honesty and great service.

My daughter and her husband were here from SanFrancisco. We went to the Finger Lakes on sunday.On our return the car computer alerted us there was a problem with the electronics and to not proceed with the journey. We continued to drive home as all seemed ok. Early monday I called Lous not really expecting to get in on such short notice. I explained my situation and they suggested I bring it in. They gave us a loner to use so that the day would not be lost as the kids were leaving the next day. They fixed the problem and we were not inconvenienced at all. I just cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a place to repair your car or even buy a used car this is definitely the place to go. I have been a customer for several years and everyone treats you like you were family.
I had a bad experience last week for replacing my car tyre breaks. After driving few miles in the highway, the front tires started making cracking noise that led to tow my car back to shop.

My BMW E90 was serviced by this shop that dont put the effort into learning how to work on German cars. I took out 4 rusted bolts that werent even the right size. You could see on the nut how much is was holding on only by the last 2 threads lol which is a joke. This shop is full of goofs

CONSUMERS beware: I brought my BMW to Lous Care Care in Bville a couple months ago and after $1,750 in Wiring repairs they said I needed a blower motor and wiring which was around $450... I took my car without fixing that particular part and low and behold I take it to another BMW dealer at drivers village to have them look at it and guess what??? The part was a recall... I paid Nothing and now have heat and A/C in my car and didnt pay a dime now Im questioning supposed work they previosuly did....This place is NOT looking out for the consumer just their pockets... I suggest looking elsewhere for your mechanical issues... Reporting this dishonest company to the BBB next.

I even had to pop in once before a long drive to see if they could help with a random issue I was facing and they were able to fix it on the spot! Definitely my go to place for excellent service.

2021-11-27I LOVE this car! Lou was very pleasant and easy to work with. I drove 2 hours to see and drive the advertised car. He was very up front on issues he was aware of and assured me the problems (all minor) identified on our visit would be corrected. The car was on consignment and he worked hard to get the seller to come to an acceptable price. Lou was true to his word and worked diligently to correct all the faults identified. I bought the car and would buy from Lou again.
