Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
This lowes is terrible. I have been there multiple times, giving it fresh opportunities, but it consistently fails. Twice I’ve gone to pick up items that online it says they have dozens, only for them to be nowhere in sight. I’ve tried ordering online for pickup, only for my orders to be canceled. A few weeks ago I went and there were 5/6 staff members standing talking on their phones, and I asked where something was and not one person offered to help. Just ridiculous. I recently moved to Amherst and this is the closest home improvement store, but I’ll be driving the extra distance to Home Depot every time.
Came here to buy a lawn mower and grill and they had great customer service! Lawn mower cuts great, has a included bag which was a plus! The grill was an easy setup and cooks amazingly! Overall, their staff was friendl, answered my questions and were not pushy with the warranty add on! I love my Lowes and always suggest anyone who needs a home improvement item to head on over to their local Lowes!!!!
Terrible customer service.I have spent thousands of dollars at this particular store, and here I am, getting a hard time trying to return a defective $7.90 bird feeder. I didn’t have the original paper receipt, but I had a credit card print out that showed the store number, date of purchase, dollar amount. She went to great length to refuse the return. First she said that card was not used in her store, then maybe it was an older card, then maybe it was a nearby store, etc. When I asked for her manager, she caved in and gave me a credit.
Terrible service staff. I went to purchase a stove and no one even asked could they help me. I finally asked for help and he said he didnt know much about the stoves, so why are you in this department. I spent an hour and 15 minutes leaving with no service. I took pictures of the two stoves and left. Maybe Home Depot or Orvilles can be better.
Every time I go here im always disappointed. This time the store was mobbed, only 2 self checkouts where open and 2 lanes inside. Isles are over crowded with displays making it tough to move around. The website is useless and never up to date with whats in the store or where its located. Staff seem disconnected and not willing to help. This is what happens when corporations run your local hardware stores out of biz.
I needed to contact the Installation Department at Lowes to inquire about a problem with a recent installation. I spoke to Lynette, at the East Amherst, New York location. She was helpful, polite and knowledgeable about all that had occurred and helped me to resolve the problem. I recommend working with Lowes installers, specifically Reality Design.
Last weekend my husband and I entered lowes through their return entrance and the employee working the desk sarcastically said “Are you here to pick something up?” And I said sorry, did we enter through the wrong exit?”. She then rolled her eyes awhile shaking her head and proceeded to help the customer in front of her. Home Depot staff are a lot nicer, which is why we usually shop there.
Lowes supposedly hired a third party to deliver my fridge and the installer broke my screen door.. Lowes wont do anything about it.. its been almost 3 weeks. They blew me off saying it wasnt their issue its the third parties.. they claim they didnt do it. I will never shop at lowes again.
Lowes is a very good store to get all your home projects supplies from. All of their locations are clean and organized, especially this location. I prefer Lowes than Home Depot for things like tile, cabinets, and some light fixtures. Lowes also always have sales and discounted items available. So depending on your project, you can save on some money
Another great visit to Lowes! Always check out the clearance items! Great and knowledge staff. Usually have everything I need. Plus they will order and deliver anything I need. For all sized jobs from construction to home improvement and remodeling. Even have special parking for order pickups.
Always the rudest employees. Every question or just waiting in line (and you do, forever) is like an inconvenience to them. There are always a million staff in the store, but no one can help you with anything, and you wait forever for service, even if youre just picking something you ordered online.
I have visited Lowes numerous times, both pre- and post pandemic. My experience with their staff has always been pleasant. They have all been knowledgeable in their respective areas and eager to help. The reason for the 4 starts instead of 5 is that it can be hard to find a staff member in a department or there can be a long wait. However, as I stated above, when you do get a staff member the service is excellent.
I have had good and bad experiences at this location, but as of late the customer service is less than desirable. I just waited 30 minutes for wood cutting services (with 3 separate calls for assistance) with no employee assistance. Unfortunately, I am not waiting any longer and will just need to visit the Home Depot just up the road.
Staff is always friendly and helpful. However, I ordered a door and their vendor sent the wrong color and it had to be re-ordered. With 50+ day lead times, it is very inconvenient (we were hoping to get the door in before it got too cold). When trying to call to get a status, nobody answered at the store and the 1-800 number customer service hung up on me. A week after the re-order and I dont have a status. Meanwhile, Im waiting to put in new flooring until the door is installed.
Terrible Customer Service from delivery. Delivered washer and dryer with wrong cord. Informed me he’ll be back with next day. Took off work again for nobody to show. Called delivery department an unidentified man because angry and placed me on hold for 30mins. I called again to be told I’m on delivery for the next day. Another day of work missed. Very Very disturbing and disappointed.
Put in and paid for a order for my contractor to pick up. He spent one hour to get it and the door I paid for had a ding in it . He went to look for a better one and they all were bad. I have called the store three times to speak to a manager with no success. It will be a long time before they get my business..
In general, the staff is standoffish and they haven’t restocked sold-out basic items for weeks. Won’t answer their phone and I waited 30 minutes at the pickup desk (no one would help me, despite employees being around everywhere) until they told me they didn’t have my order. This is after I got an email telling me it was ready. The issue is lack of staff: the store is clearly understaffed and can’t function properly without enough employees.
Sorry too say this store is awful went for bathroom vanity 2 on sale called ahead to place order told they would be at service desk they were not I waited at least 10min even looked at me before they asked me if I needed help to busy talking then try to get BP from plumbing department forget it 3guys couldnt figure out were bathroom vanity were even when I explained it handicapped too had me wa)king All over I was very mad very very rude will not go there again
I LOOOVE THIS LOWES THERE IS ONE LADY AT THE PAINT CENTER AND SHE IS SOOO FREAKING NICE AND HELPFUL. I CANT REMEMBER HER NAME BUT SHE IS AN OLDER WOMEN SHORT AND SHOULDER LENGTH DARK HAIR. MY HUBBY AND I ARE HERE AT LEAST 2 A WEEK, TO ITEMS FOR DIY PROJECTS AND THEY ARE ALWAYS SO HELPFUL AT THIS LOWES. GREAT PLACE TO BUY ITEMS AND SHOP FOR TOOLS AND PAINTS.
This is a picture of my trip to Lowes when I needed to get drywall. Now as you can see there is plenty there. The only thing missing is a cart to put them on and good luck finding one of those. The horrible thing is that I have called the customer service line on three separate occasions to make them aware of the lack of construction carts because they never have any there when you need them. The employees use the few carts they do have for orders so its not like there not making money to some more for the people who like to pick up there own stuff. I fixed my problem by going to Home Depot instead. Theres always more carts there then they could ever need how considerate of them!! So a week after my last angry call to Lowes was today when I actually had to go back there with my uncle guess what there was none of again.
Do not come here if you plan on using their curbside pickup for anything, called multiple times to get hung up on, then third time transferred to customer service to then have them bring someone’s order who came after me, waited 30 more minutes and still no one came. Got fed up and left this takes the cake for worst curbside pickup.
I wish Lowes had been in our area 15 years ago when we completely rebuild a house wed just bought. They have everything Ive ever needed except a bulb for a 70 year old tractor oil gauge lamp! Lol! You name it, fans, plumbing, tile, appliances, tools, hardware, garden, lumber, paint...ok, Ive never bought Christmas decorations beyond one stocking a battery operated string of lights, but seasonal is on point and really well stocked/organized compared to their competition. Shop with confidence. Returns are no problem! Believe me, we do so many projects and overbuy that they should know me by name at the returns desk. Please note all the return policy and dont get torqued!!! They give you 90 days. Organize those receipts!
Horrendous customer service. Was expecting a new refrigerator today . Never called or texted at all . I called them and after 5 attempts finally was told they would be here between 1-5 . Well it’s after 5 and now they are claiming I wasn’t even on the schedule even though I have the email showing delivery was set for today . No excuse for such incompetence. I don’t care how understaffed you are , a simple phone call or text would have helped . Will take my Buisness elsewhere next time
I went for an air conditioning and received help from Toni. He took the time to explain the difference between a few of the air conditioners and also answered my questions. Not only did he help get it to the front of the store but also had someone help get it into my car. The customer service was awesome and made my shopping experience easy and fast!!
Consistently terrible customer service. If you need to visit a hardware store numerous times a week for your job, avoid LOWES. Their like the casino, you might have a good/lucky experience with them, but in the long run you will eventually realize, and be affected by, the lack of competent service and management. If I knew how to take a short position on their stock, I would.
Never even got my microwave. After pre-paying for item, delivery and installation I never heard a word for a month. No call to say it’s in stock, no call to set up delivery, nothing. After many phone calls the order was finally cancelled. Then today, without warning, 2 guys show up at my door to install it. Lowe’s does not deserve my money and I plan on never shopping there again. Zero stars if I could.
I was in the garden area and needed mulch. The cashier was all by himself but in between cashing people out he still found the time to help me. This young man even help me load the mulch in my truck. He went above and beyond his job I wish I could remember his name to let his manager know helpful he was to me. I was there 3 pm on 9/17/21
We went here to get a certain tool today. We found what we needed, but needed assistance to unlock the underneath to grab the item. After waiting a half hour (at least), with multiple other customers also waiting, no one ever came to help us. We decided to leave. (Without our tool). Also, I asked an employee for some help in the garden center. She gave no eye contact, and was very rude. I wasnt even done asking her my questions before she walked away.... We would have rather gone to home depot
The worst experience in purchasing a washer and dryer ever. Washer was damaged upon delivery so they only delivered dryer on original delivery . They never called me to inform me when the new washer would be coming, had to call them 100 times only to be tramsfered and hung up on 99 of them. Also they never provided the stacking kit which we paid for . I will tell everyone that home depot is better and to never shop with Lows after this . More like Low on customer service. I didnt realize Id be paying for a stressful purchase, I think spending tons of hours trying to get ahold of someone to do what you paid for is a great way to waste time.
Terrible customer service when it comes to installation. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone at this store. When I take the time to visit the store there is always a massive wait to speak to someone especially in appliances. I have been given different explanations and excuses from a manager on duty, an employee in appliances, and a customer service rep as to why an appliance that according to this team is in stock takes over a month to get installed. The service contractor they are working with is HORRIBLE you can never get anyone on the phone to find out the status of your installation and the when I did they said that Lowes says the product is not in stock. What ?!? Save yourself time and headaches, DO NOT purchase appliances here!
No one will answer the phone. Called twice just to see if they carried a product. Both times, someone would pick up and immediately put me on hold. Literally after listening to horrible hold music for five minutes both times, I hung up. Awful awful customer service experience.
I placed a large order for lumber on Wednesday for a Sunday pickup. When I arrived, the pro desk was closed and my order was not ready for pick up.After speaking to three different associates that were Little to no help, I then requested to speak to the store manager.I was met by Nicole, Who was the sales floor supervisor. I explained that I pre-ordered the lumber a few days before and was there to pick it up but the order was not ready .She immediately got to work on making the pickup happen.Nicole went above and beyond to help me in this situation.Connor, a sales associate in the lumber department, shut down the aisles to fork truck the lumber off the top shelf. He perfectly loaded the large amount of lumber onto my trailer with professionalism and ease. After not having any luck with three other associates at the store, it was a pleasant experience working with Nicole and Connor.
Found a good selection of what we were looking for and found one we really liked. When looking for something else we needed to complete our project an associate was extremely helpful in finding exactly what we needed. They also had a good supply of hard to get items due to the pandemic. They had rhem on display first thing when you walked in the door. They also had a good variety to choose from.
Friendly staff and a wide variety!Only reason Im not doing 5 stars is because corporate keeps making the store move stuff around, which is exhausting when youre running in for just 1-2 things... You spend half the time trying to find the new location, and far too often the app doesnt get updated aisle locations - making it frustrating to get in and out quickly.
My first time in Lowes and the experience was great! I had to pick up a window I ordered online and it was a fast and easy process. I also was looking for other things and the sales associates were very helpful and knew exactly where to find the items I needed. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon and they were awesome!!
While flooring my bathroom, we realized the toilet did not meet with the wax ring anymore. At 9pm, everything was closed but lowes. I went here and the woman in plumbing was SUPER helpful. I may start shopping here over Home Depot to be honest just solely on the helpfulness of their employees.
Went in to get a mini fridge for my shop. i went to pay for it with my card and it got declined multiple times, i tried all 3 cards that i had and nothing worked. the lady standing at the self checkout line starred at us the whole time watching us struggle trying to figure out why nothing is working and she did not insist on helping us or asking if we need assistance. she stood there and played on her phone and looked around clueless like she didn’t know how to do her job. anyways after trying multiple times again, my buddy tried his last card and it finally went through. it seems as if the machines there aren’t up to date or are just junk. after driving home and unboxing it, i find a scratch on the top of the fridge. very upset with how everything went down. struggling with the self checkout machine, not getting any help, then finding a scratch. disappointing.
Phil over in Appliances is great! About a month ago I came into the store with questions about my broken dryer belt and Phil encouraged me to repair my dryer on my own and I did! Such a sense of accomplishment and so happy that I can dry my clothes again. All thanks to Phil who followed the Lowe’s mission statement in providing the best service!
Would give this location zero stars if possible.1st trip this morning to get carpet they have on the roll. First associate we see yeah I dont work in flooring and just keeps walking. Then finally someone talks with us only to tell us that the ONE flooring associate is on lunch. So we go home..2nd trip 2 hours later. No one is around to assist. Finally find someone and the ONE person in flooring is on their 15 min break. Wait 20 more minutes no one will help us. So we left.I finally call a hour later and speak to a manager named Mitch to confirm that they have in stock what we need and that someone will be there for our THIRD trip in today; he took our name and the measurements we needed.BIG SURPRISE we are here and Mitch cant seem to be found and the carpet inst even in stock.Three trips in 85° heat while 7 months pregnant... super awesome Lowes.
We have had a horrible experience ordering our countertops from here. We have dealt with some nice people along the way, but that is only when we actually speak to someone as it is impossible to get ahold of anyone to help.I am supposed to be issued a refund that I still havent received, people are so lost there and it has been a disaster. Ive tried to use Lowes over Home Depot on multiple occasions due to company values bit it honestly isnt worth it anymore.
Had a delivery set up for between 8am and noon today. Delivery never showed up. Called the store 11 times and was put on hold and then was hung up on each time. Called corp number....guess what.....on hold 40 min so far. No phone calls, text or email about delivery. Driver just called....1 hour and 15 min late. Update - had a conversation with corporate office and they said they would email me back in one hour......lol, over a week later and no email. Stay away from Lowes if you will need any type of customer service.
Lowes provides no support and does not answer phones. If you order something you have no hope of ever contacting customer support unless you wander down to the store and wait in line or try to find an associate to talk to. Curbside pickup is completely useless. I ordered an in stock grill on Monday morning and four days later I am still waiting. Tried calling the store several times for an update and no one answers. Tried contacting corporate and can get no answer. The only communication is with a chat-bot that just says its pending and everyone is busy.
The in-store associates are friendly and shopping in store is fine. But ordering online for pickup is hopeless. Placed an order for pickup of an available item on May 9, it is now May 21 and nothing. Called the 1-800 number and the system malfunctioned and hung up on me as a representative was finally fixing it for me (after being on hold for 20 minutes). Calling the Amherst location just rings and rings forever and no one ever answers.
We ordered a $2k+ cosmo oven to arrive for mothers day, the representatives at this lowes lied amd said they would be delivering it directly. Come to find out it was sent through 3 different freight companies, weeks after we were promised its arrival. We open the box to find that the back of the oven is completely dented and the front lip is bent completely out of shape. Youre probably wondering why i am not just contacting the store, because people dont answer the phones when it gets close to their store closing.
Went to Lowe’s specifically for the $20 cheaper vanity and it wasn’t worth it. Asked three different people about helping me getting the vanity I wanted down. After about 15 minutes no one came and many employees walked by but known to help me. So I had to go find those moving steps and use them to get a vanity off the top shelf, not fun and not light in the weight department. After struggling to get the vanity down to the ground I went to go finally check out. Comes down to I grabbed the wrong number vanity and now I’m not saving money. The customer services desk was nice and was going to help me process the exchange to get my money back. Went back to get right one and once again no one would help me for over 10 minutes. Asked 2 more people and they said okay and then just disappeared. So I just decided to take the vanity I already purchased and leave. Moral of the story is it really seems like no one works there that wants to help you get something difficult down even though it’s there job. Wasted gas and time to go out of my way to not save me. Will probably not be returning for anymore material. Terrible floor personal
Called Lowes today 15 times regarding a delivery that was scheduled for today; they never showed up during scheduled timeframe. All extensions that I chose would transfer then hung up. Someone finally picked up, put me on hold, then transferred me to deliveries then line dropped. Called again and someone picked up, refused to tell me their name and just transferred me again to deliveries. The phone hung up. Unprofessional service and interaction with reps. when someone did answer the phone. I will be canceling my order.
I wish I had the ability to post less than 1 star. I have had 2 of the worst customer service experiences in my life from this company in the past month. I ordered a grill, which included free assembly. 3 weeks after the clerk promised me it would be ready, I picked up my still unassembled grill and put it together myself. We also stopped at the store several times to check to see if it was ready because nobody answers the phones. Oh, and it took 30 minutes for them to bring it out when I picked it up.I also had a dishwasher delivered. I chose Lowes because of free delivery and instillation. When the drivers showed up, 6 weeks after the order was placed, they werent allowed to enter the house. Thats a totally reasonable policy during the pandemic - BUT WHY WASNT THAT MADE CLEAR WHEN I ORDERED, OR DELIVERY WAS CONFIRMED, OR WHEN DELIVERY WAS DELAYED?! I would have bought the one Home Depot had in stock 6 weeks ago.I know the $1300 I spent (just on these 2 purchases) is a drop in the bucket for them, but in the future, Im spending my money elsewhere.
They use the definition of curbside very loosely. Needed something I was going to be installing at an elderly persons house and wanted low to no contact for that reason. Ordered online and arrived at the pre-designated parking area. Per the email I received that my order was ready I called the store to let them know I had arrived. I followed the prompts for curbside which rang a few times and then disconnected, I did this a several more times before deciding to try different departments. Finally I got a hold of customer service who hung up on me. I determined my only option was to walk into the store, I didnt think anyone would even know I was waiting at the spot for my order otherwise. I went in to a bewildered staff who informed me it gets busy and that in order to pick up an online order I needed to press their pickup button. I explained I was actually waiting for curbside and they told me again that in order to get your items the button had to be pressed. Not exactly curbside, I understand things can get busy and I dont mind waiting in my truck for a bit but atleast let me know that you know Im there and someone will be with me eventually.
Ordered a washing machine 2 weeks ago and was supposed to be delivered today. No calls about a time. It took me 90 min to actually speak with a manager after several attempts to reach delivery personnel. They find out item was out of stock with no answer on how this happened. They offer me a different brand which I refused. I cancelled the order and told them this was the worst experience I ever had and their phone service was terrible. Ended up going to another business and got item for same price and have to wait 2 weeks for delivery.
This Lowes was the biggest one Ive been in. Lots of stock, Outdoor garden area really beautiful and good ideas. Clean bathrooms. Best of all, when I asked a staff member where water purifiers lived, I was told the only correct response when you dont know something in retail, she responded I dont know and pointed someone who did. If not a pandemic, I would have hugged her, this is such a rare but vital response instead of fudging some half-truth that leaves me guessing 😶 In the middle of the store!!
Needed a store room lockset.... could not find one. Looked for an employee for 15 min. Could not find one. Used their app to find one. Pointed me to a lockset that was not store room function. Went to hd and passed 8 associates on the way in, thought I’ll see if I can find it. I could not. But their app led me right to it. In and out in 5 min. Lowe’s ...... your understaffed, and your app is terrible. I should have just drive the extra 5 min and gone to Home Depot first.
Lumber department. As we entered the store we inquired about getting our lumber cut. The associate said they absolutely can do that for us today. We pick out the lumber, and a large piece of plywood to be cut, only to find out the saw was broken. We were told how poorly it was constructed and that it was a common problem. We then had to buy our own blade, which added to our bill. In a store that big, how is there only one saw? No back up? And no discount offered since the service was unavailable! !!! Unacceptable!
Lowes Vs. Home Depot is like comparing Target to Walmart.Target is nicer. Target is cleaner. Targets staff is better educated and more willing to help. But Target also costs more and has less stuff. If you are trying to be cheap, want to get everything in one trip and dont need helpful staff, go shop Home depot. Otherwise, try lowes.
They allow online ordering, however my last two online orders had problems. Both took forever to fill. They werent filled until I went to the store! Both times they had employees just standing around, and I had to wait for them to pick my items. If I wanted to be exposed to who knows what, for as long as it took, I would have just shopped in store on my own!Lowes does not have the whole online ordering thing figured out yet!
Something wrong here at Niagara Falls Road and 290 Lowes. I was here Sunday to add a 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 board to my trailer frame and the store manager was yelling at his staff to cut it for me and they were saying that they couldnt because the saw was only for cutting plywood sheets and if they cut anything else it might break and be down for months. A store that sells tools i.e. saws cant do a professional job of cutting wood is puzzling at best. The manager helped me but I come back on Monday and the same problem again! Transit Road store hasnt got a problem with doing cuts so why shouldnt they?
I always like Lowes, I think it is because they have what I want, their employees are knowledgeable and their customer service is service. Today I forgot to use my military discount. I went to customer service and they credited the $16 to my credit card no questions asked. Try them you will like them. And they have locations all over the place.
Really Good selection of hardware like screws and washers, however self check out was incredibly annoying since I was buying a couple different sets of screws and they dont seem to weigh enough to register on the scale.Lowes team- The whole thing was kind of ridiculous period go over to Home Depot and see how its done.
Can’t get a hold of anyone at this store. Was told my recently purchased appliances were in and ready to be delivered, then the morning of delivery was told one wasn’t in stock or was in the wrong warehouse location. A couple days later I called to try and schedule a pickup instead. Phone rang and rang and rang no matter what department I tried calling. Finally got to someone after 30 mins of this, said they’d look into it and would follow up in about an hour. Fast forward 6 hours I’m calling again for it to ring forever. Will not be buying appliances from this Lowe’s in the future. Update: the stovetop that I eventually was able to pick up was broken upon receipt and when I returned it they told me theres nothing they can do but to refund it and wait the estimated 4 months for them to get another one in. They wont call the vendor to try and expedite or anything. By far the worst level of customer service I have ever experienced from top to bottom from Lowes
It was a bit weird to me because I was having a foot issue which made me sort of limpWith that being said, only one person in the store showed respect,he went around me instead of almost thru me. I couldnt reach the item at the very top shelf, twelve men came and took down the same item that I was attempting to reach and none of them helped me, an angel (Female)came and asked her boyfriend to help. Where has the respect gone to? Covid took the good people away. The item I purchased was very satisfactory. Thanks Lowes.
Made an online order and it said it would be available on 4/13. It’s now 4/21 and the product is still not available. Online account says it’s in transit to store (it’s said that for a week now). The payment has shown up on and off my credit card three times now and when I called the store, they said to call back the next day, and they haven’t picked up the phone since. So frustrating.
This location and others, it is clear that Lowe’s no longer has the same mission statement as they did in the past. They are no longer offering the same quality and selection and as far as I can tell, no longer have the same caliber of staff as they once did. They are overall still a good place to go for home improvement but it is no longer the same as it was when they were first established.
This was my first time doing a large delivery order with Lowes. They cancelled a large part of the order last minute without notifying me. When I called in to customer service for help, they were just picking their phones and hanging up, they wouldnt even allow call transfers from their pro desk. Seriously the worst customer service and communication Ive experienced. Id highly recommend giving your local hardware store or lumber company your business. Lowes in my experience couldnt care less.
Ordered the material needed to redo a roof of mine ($700) value and asked for curbside pickup. When i placed the order there was an option for delivery and since it was over $300 in value delivery was listed as free. Due to some time restrictions i tried to switch from pickup to delivery. By try to switch i meanI called customer service for an hour only to be continuously redirected to a dead line. When i asked for a manager i was again continually transfered to a dead line.SoI decide to go to the store and try my luck at the desk. I stood there for 40 minutes while the customer service rep tried to page a manager who seemed to have to come from another zip code. I was then told that they cant do anything and it needs to be canceled and the order replaced online for delivery or they can do it there at the store and charge me $70 to deliver. The customer service station, more the management is absolute garbage and completely unprofessional. I ended up canceling my order and took it to home depot. The manager who was utterly useless and left his employees standing there helpless while the line continued to grow behind me was named Don i believe. Older white genetlmen wearing glasses.Avoid any online handling with this place and may god help you if you have an issue and need to deal with customer service because they wont help.
I have never had a worse experience at a attempt to talk to someone in any department. After a week of trying to speak with someone in the garden department and sale associate department with no luck for 30 plus minutes a day. Now i am on hold with lowes corporate. Job well done guys. Really glad i got a fence installed with you along with other stuff. Thanks for nothing
Great home improvement store. They got everything you need to tackle any home project. If they dont carry an item you need, they can order it. We have placed custom orders here many times, it quick and easy. Employees are helpful and nice to deal with. Returns are simple too. Competitive pricing, and lots of choices.
Bought a washing machine online to he fulfilled by this store. Got a call the day before that the only one they had was damaged, but they could give me the floor model for $150 off. They assured me my Lowes card would be reimbursed that amount.Washer gets delivered, nothing to sign but they assure me my card would be refunded the $150. Never happened. Spent 3 separate days trying to get ahold of someone at the store. I tried every extension. Either no one would pick up and it would ring few until finally disconnecting me or the few times I could actually get someone to answer the phone they would transfer me and Id be hung up on. Im talking about 3 hours if trying to get ahold of someone. This is insanity. How hard is it to pick up the phone?!FINALLY, I actually get someone who says they can help. They email me a new invoice reflecting the $150 difference. They promise me it will show the refund on my card within 24 hours. Still no refund. Now I will be spending my day driving 30 minutes to this location and get this sorted out since I dont feel like spending another 3 hours trying to call. My Lowes card will then be promptly cancelled and they will never receive my business again.
Staff was extremely helpful. Took the time to help me choose the appropriate sander for the job along with accessories. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. Store is clean, well lit and aisles marked clearly. Check out was fast and pleasant. I highly recommend this Lowes.
Lowe’s should really train their cashier associates on procedures for ALL forms of payment. Nothing is more frustrating than standing in line and then to get to the register, try to use and e-gift card and be told “we don’t do that”, when I know lowe’s in fact does. Then when telling the associate that, they have no clue what it even is or how to process an e-gift card. Needless to say, I had to go into the store and wait in line again. It’s 2020. If you aren’t going to train your associates on these things then at least give the customer the option to do it at the self check out. Which Lowe’s does not provide this option. #homedepot.
Wanted a Kobalt router table and the website said there were a few available. Went to purchase and quest What? Not a one in the store. Checked another store and that showed 7 in stock. Went and found one on the floor. Picked it up to look closer and set off some green alarm thing on the box. An employee came by and mumbled something about being back to fix but I felt we were bothering her. She finally came back with a reset tool and whacked the green sensor quite hard. Picked the box up again and didnt we set the alarm off again. Another Lowes employee was with us now and he hit the sensor and said they were nothing but trouble and to not pick up the box by the packaging straps. Thanked both and picked up the router table by the box handles and went to the checkouts without any trouble.
Delivery order was short several items , Lowe’s didn’t bother to notify about this apparently expecting no one to notice.Items were paid for as well as the $69 delivery fee.8 days for delivery of one pallet of pavers 2 miles from store.Upon inquiry, delivery department stated that the remaining items would be transferred from another store and delivered next day. Didn’t happen.Telephone at the Niagara Falls Blvd location ring endlessly without being answered.Time for new manager is likely.
I ordered a gas range and a refrigerator online for store pick-up. Their policy is 7 days to pick it up and they had the stove in stock but it was going to be a few days for the fridge. I was trying to call them to hold the stove until the fridge came because the 7 days would be over on the day I go pick them up. They would place me on hold or send me call to a different department until the phone hangs up. Home Depot isn’t all that but their customer service is a 100x better than Lowe’s
Absolutely worst Blowes location in WNY, ordered a patio set and first time it was dropped when the employees were bringing it out and shattered. 2 more came in broken. Tried to buy lumber and the boards were all different widths off my 1-4inches even tho it would be a 1x8 with the same tags. Curbside is useless as they take up to an hour to come out.Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or even Valu.
Went to buy a grill here. They had none in stock of the model I wanted except the floor model. The guy went into the back to double check and was gone for 15 minutes. Another gentleman asked if we were being helped. Asked if I could purchase the floor model and he said I mean, you could. The other guy who went into the back never came back. They had no ambition to sell my anything. Went to home Depot, had exactly what I wanted and even excepted my 10% off coupon I had for Lowes.
Went in to get an air conditioner went to the front to ask for help waited 15 mins someone comes by and helps the white lady behind me I then told him Im the one who called for help he then said he will call some waited another 15 mins nobody came seen a guy walk by he helped got to the front to cash out asked for help to bring it to the car the lady came to help then told me I Parkes on the wrong side that if she gets hit by a car lowes wont pay her like one lady listen I been asking for help for a good 45 mins I just want to go home second off the cashier told me to pull my car up not where to park 3rd off you couldnt even lift my box we had to get a customer to do it smh shouldve just went to Walmart
Bought an LG fridge July 4th weekend. Scheduled delivery for my closing first week of August. They were in stock when I ordered- they ended up selling my fridge and letting me know one day before delivery. They tell me they do not have a date they will be getting more.. nothing they can do.. Offered to put me on a waiting list.. Very Bad service... will not be shopping here any longer. They make up BS excuses.
Horrible customer service at the Niagara Falls Blvd. location.!!We ordered almost 4000 dollars worth of flooring. We had issues with the install, Lowe’s ordered wrong flooring...Could not get a hold of a manager. When I called they picked up the phone and would hang up. Contacted corporate, who were actually really amazing, to cancel my order since it was a lot of money for horrendous service. Corporate couldn’t even reach anyone at the store and apologized profusely saying they will follow up with their own separate complaint regarding the service at this location. Do not spend your money here, go somewhere else! They do not care about you or their product at all.
Loved it! Found great deals on appliances. Especially a floor model fridge that was over 60% off and a dishwasher- plus all the employees I talked to went above and beyond to try to help and help me find what I needed. They were also very Knowledgeable. Overall I had a great experience.
I always enjoy walking through, it gives me plenty of ideas of what I can do around the house.Used Lowes for several home projects, a fence & deck, and both were completed exceptionally. Their contractors were great to work with, and their in store rep., Rodney(W.Amherst,NY), is awesome!
Customer service was horrible! Went to help a friend get mulch. We got 70 bags. They seemed more annoyed then anything. 2 employees helped load some into our vehicles. Another employee came to the garden gate and yelled oh you dont need any help as there are 4 of you. We needed to make two trips and when we got back no one even came out to help or even acknowledge that we were there. Also they dont know how many bags come on a pallet as we were told there was 65. There was 60, good thing we counted ourself. Had to ripe open another pallet as no one was around to assist! Horrible service.
TERRIBLE SERVICE. I’ve had bad customer service experiences both in store and over the phone. In store I made a carpet order which was supposed to be ready for pickup when I arrived 4 hours later. The guy even said it would be done way before then. Wouldn’t you know when I arrived no one knew anything about it. An hour later we found out the guy forgot about it! Speaking of forgetting, you can forget about getting service over the phone. I was redirected 10 times and hung up on when trying to ask someone if they had a washer in stock. They get one star for good prices and selection on certain things. Otherwise I avoid this place.
Kathy in hardware (a former EMT in an ambulance who has only been working here for 6 months) was AWESOME!!! She was a huge help showing me where to find everything, helping me make sure I had enough door knobs and hardware for my project, and was very patient. She even called another Lowes store to help me confirm their exact on-hand inventory. Too bad she doesnt work closer to my home store! 😁
Ordered specialized vanity and they helped me order a granite top. Due to covid, there was construction delay. I now see granite is slightly short. I was on hold 3 times over 45 min with no answer. Finally spoke to assistant manager on 13th and he said he would call back. Today is 23rd.. still waiting. I called yesterday and was told GM was out all week but they would transfer me to different assistant manager. He wasn’t available but I was assured i would get a return call..... still waiting! This will be my last project done using Lowe’s.
Very poor service. Ordered 250 patio pavers online and the order was canceled because they said the item was out of stock. Called the store and they had over 1000 of them!!!! Paid with gift card and credit. Credit card was never charged but the gift card was and they dont put it back on the gift card, they mail you a store merchandise card and it takes 3 to 5 business days to get it. Went into the store and the only thing that they would do was to have me purchase it and then come back when I get the gift card and theyll refund the order and rering it using the gift card 😡 no one could give me a straight answer as to why my order was canceled in the first place. Also called customer service and after sitting on hold for 48 minutes they told me there was nothing they could do and to call another number which did absolutely nothing as well. Also would not give me corporate office number or a district manager name😡 Will definitely not be back!!!!
Just left this location after being terribly treated seven days ago at the Transit location in Williamsville and I am furious! I went to return an unused item with the Original receipt & was accused of stealing! The customer service representative refused to call the manager to the front of the store and also flat out told me “no” when I asked for her name and your company’s corporate phone number! The co-worker standing next to her was shocked and embarrassed by her behavior and she ended up giving me the corporate phone number and paging the store manager to come and speak with me. My family is spending thousands of dollars to remodel 2 home bathrooms!! This treatment is unacceptable!! My skin is brown but my money is GREEN!!
Slightly better than Home Depot in most ways for average consumers. I’d recommend Home Depot for large construction projects but anything else I get from Lowe’s. It’s better lit, better website/app, and just more consumer friendly in general. It’s slightly easier to get help here if you need it then the Home Depot down the road too.
Terrible customer service. No status on order after 9 days and was then told to contact my local Lowes store. Each time I called the local store my call was disconnected. Most vendors only charge your account after your item ships. Not Lowes! My credit card was charged immediately. Will never do business with Lowe’s again.
WHY AM I OFFICALLY DONE WITH LOWES AND WHY YOU SHOULD BE TOO.Amherst Lowes has officially brought to me the worst home improvement experience of my life and that is why after I get my refund (for no work completed) Ill be done for good.Flooring Project for a Rental Property that I own in North Buffalo off Colvin Ave. (1 street over from Home Depot) Though I chose to go the extra 20 minutes to Lowes Amherst because I always thought they had a better selection. Little did I know how terrible the overall customer service and install outsourcing to 3rd party companies has destroyed this company from what it used to be.I was let down by their outsourced 3rd party Install Company: SERVICE PROS. Measurement Specialist Confirmed the wrong material would work, material was ordered and delivered to store, then I had to drop off at the house before theyd let me schedule install, they scheduled and then cancelled just before because their local contractor was putting out poor work that continually needed to be fixed. When a new install specialist was hired and showed up, he refused to install the floor as he said it was not compatible and never shouldve been ordered in the first place.I was let down by LOWES Assistant Store Manager, Tim, who was informed of my issues every step of the way and never actually brought me a complete solution. He knew SERVICE PROS kept dropping the ball, he tried to use LOWES National Support Services to help me, I was just pushed back to the store (Not what theyre supposed to do). I needed the material picked back up by them, so to not inconvenience me for their issue as I live 1 hour away, Never happened or followed through as promised. I Ordered a new floor to give them another chance to make it right, 3 weeks later, manufacturer cancelled the order and Im left here now 1st week of October with ABSOLUTELY nothing at all and Tim wont even call me back after asking for him to tell me whats next.2 months after I started to try to work with this company on a Flooring Project, Im officially throwing in the towel. DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME. I have an unhappy tenant and Im an unhappy customer. Thanks for nothing.A.J.
I can get pretty much anything that I need for my home improvement projects here. What I also like about Lowes is that theres other things that I can also get out of the way such as soap/cleaning supplies, batteries, or seasonal items, etc.. The store is clean and all of the employees are friendly and seem to enjoy working there.
Warning: delivery dates stated on your Lowes web order mean Nothing. My shower cabin was supposed to arrive today. I even got an email reminder yesterday. After whole day waiting and 7 phone call inquiries, I was finally informed that they dont have it and it will be at least another week. My mistake was to rely on the provided delivery date and I will pay for it dearly ( I need to cancel rent agreement with tenants).
Ordered our products online for pickup. Ordered our products assembled. 4 days later still nothing. We decided to just pick it up unassembled. Our grill cover was ready and waiting. Told us it would be 15 minutes for someone to pull down our grill. No problem. 45 minutes later still no grill. After waiting in line again were told itll be just a little longer. We tell the young lady well be back in an hour went and got lunch came back still no grill and the young lady who serviced us left for the day and put in the computer that we already picked it up. So now we have to go through this with another woman who was wonderful by the way. But still had to wait another 30 minutes. I understand the times right now but that is probably the worst service Ive ever had. Just give me honest answers. You tell me two hours im cool with that. I wasted a good chunk of my day waiting for my grill that was supposed to be put together and then when we finally got home I got to out it together also. This experience isnt worth the money I spent on my grill. I do wish I could remember the womens name who serviced us the second time because she was again wonderful.
I purchased a fountain pump at lowes today. The original package looked a little beat up but it was the last one on the shelf of the type I needed. When I got home it seemed a good idea to run it briefly before installation. It immediately turned on with a grinding noise that wasn’t normal.I removed the grid cover and found inside a great deal of pond debris jammed in the impeller unit. This was not a new pump....I give Lowes 2 stars only because there was no hassle returning it. It was notable that the clerk who took it wasn’t interested when I tried to explain the problem. I wonder if it’s back on the shelf again....
This the third time I’ve checked the website for inventory count and item location before heading to the store only to get arrive and not be able to find the item. The inventory count is off and items aren’t located where the website says they are. Not enough employees so you end up walking in circles looking for the items. I’ve pointed this issue to the employees and they seem clueless about inventory discrepancy. How could no one is able to know where “54” totes are hidden.
Tell me how this makes sense: Lowe’s won’t load anything into vehicles because they can’t touch “personal” things (even if we open the trunk) yet they can touch the carts, equipment (that aren’t being sanitized) and everything else in the store the rest of the world is touching. And they’re only advertising this on small crumpled up pieces of paper taped to the register. So shout out to the Good Samaritan who helped us load a heavy box into the car since it’s “against CDC guidelines” for Lowe’s to do this.
Unfortunate that this place is starting the same decent as their main competitor (you know who I mean). Maybe this is what happens eventually when a store becomes too big? There are many times I have no real choice if I need certain items for repairs, projects etc. especially large quantities...you just cannot get at a smaller store, and then one just has to put up with the associates who act bored or annoyed when you ask for assistance.
Called curbside pick up three times because my call was hung up on twice at the Niagara Falls Blvd store. Waited a total of 44 minutes before the order was brought out. Watched others waiting at curbside parking get out of their vehicle in frustration and going inside the store to retrieve their order. I patiently waited to see how long it would actually take. It is obvious that Lowes curbside pick up is not customer focused!
Lowe’s in my mind is now just as bad as Home Depot. Yes, these stores tend to be a one stop shop for home repairs but poorly run with horrible customer service. I recently bought a sump pump, I got it home to find out it was a used dirty sump Pump. Apparently they don’t check the boxes of returns, it’s only common sense to do so especially when the box looked like it was tampered with, shame on me for not checking myself at the store. I took it back, the girl running returns was very helpful and tried to get me a discount on a new one and the manager allowed a 10% discount. Thanks for the discount but 10% isn’t worth the 1.5 hrs of my time wasted for incompetence on the front end with not checking returns before putting back on the shelf. I specifically went to Lowe’s as HD is terrible. Fix your internal processes Lowe’s, I’m sure I’m not the only person who’s had this happen to them. I guess Ace is the new place to go where they value customers and want you to have a good experience.
It’s my Go to place for for home improvement needs. Prices are a bit higher than Home Depot but the service here is better and it’s more organized and nicer looking. Especially during holidays for their decorations and lights and spring summer time flowers and blooms. They have vinyl fencing also for a good price!
Lets get this out of the way... Were a Home Depot family. Through and through... Which is why I cant bring myself to give the fifth star. But that mulch sale... What a good mulch sale. The people who loaded the mulch were awesome. The lady who took our order for the mulch from the mulch sale was helpful and courteous, especially when it came to the mulch from the mulch sale. Overall, fantastic mulch. Lowes gets a mulch and a half out of mulch. Mulch.
This store is good for home improvement goods, yet customer service at the front desk is lacking. The actual customer service has gone down over the last 2 years and only if I know what I need is at the store then will I go there. In the actual store they are helpful, but customer service does not make it easy. Say you purchased items on 0% financing but need to exchange it... you have to return it and then buy it again. Why is there no exchange... even if you purchase something with cash or card it ends up being the same. If you have a warranty claim that the customer service number, gives you a reference number, the front desk tells you to call them or the manufacturer. Lacking in skills and always somebody new at the desk.
Sell me some tile at 1 store, send me to another store 25 minutes away for the rest of it. I get there and they dont have it. Try to send me to a 3rd store 35 min away and I asked that they just send it to the store. No, we wont do that, you cant speak to a manager and we wont be able to help you unload your first purchase of tile to return for about a half hour. They are the worst!
My friend needed some stuff so we grabbed my dog & went for an adventure. Lowes is dog & human friendly. My friend had a nice employee, high school kid, that did his best to help her figure out which anchors & nails will do the job she needs done. While at checkout I let the person in front of us give my dog some loving. Over all it was a good trip.
Three, maybe two stars... This is lawn and garden season, we purchased mulch about 3 weeks ago. They have been out of stock, today it was in stock. So went up to the customer service desk, where they checked, had me sign and drive around to the yard for pickup. Nobody outside, all Gates and entrances locked except by the register. Asked the cashier if this is the pick-up area, he said no go-to the pick-up desk, I explained I was just at customer service and he said go-to the pick-up desk...walk back through the store talk to the pick-up desk, who scanned my receipt and said youre already checked in go back to lawn and garden. So I went back, only now there was a line of people. Lowes really needs to hire more help, and for the help they do have to make sure they understand the process. This trip took me an extra 45 minutes. Thankfully they had what I needed and finished up in one trip.
Wow, I really like this store, the lay out is nice great selection, everything you need and somethings you didnt know you needed!! The lighting was good, great prices, better than home depot, friendly service, and easy to find when you need help. I would definitely recommend shopping here if you need anything for home.
Not a good experience, went with Lowes instead of home depot because home depot was horrendous for my kitchen remodel now a bathroom remodel dealing with Lowes was worse. Ordered online tub, surround, flooring, vanity ect. We got and email stating everything would be delivered Tuesday well Monday I got a message that lowes was at my house and I wasnt home. I called the store they were calling them to come back Tuesday well later Monday the truck shows up with a quarter of what I ordered so I had to call back to see when the rest was coming finally after talking to several people I was told Tues everything else will be delivered. So Tuesday a truck comes with another quarter of my order again had to call to see when the rest was coming and again spoke to several people and finally was told another truck will be at my house from a different Lowes location well they showed up and didnt have my shower door, had to call again and this time nobody could tell me where my door was and that someone would call me Wednesday morning well nobody called so I called again and couldnt get an answer than a truck with my door shows up out of the blue. So my order took several different times and 3 days to deliver and nobody in the stores had a clue even the managers what they were doing. Very bad experience and my next project Ill have to deal with home depot. My advice is do not order online, go buy everything yourself.
Whatever you do not buy a fridge here I bought a fridge back on May 3 it was gonna get delivered on May 16th to find out they didnt have my fridge in stock went back into the store to to figure out what happend they got my fridge back in stock so I got rescheduled for May 26th went there to make sure I was gonna get the delivery for the next day they said the fridge was still on back order so my delivery day got canceled again employees and managers very rude and to be honest if I could give them a zero Star I would DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!
I dont normally shop at Lowes but they have metal roofing made to order. Called the Lowes in Amherst several times and was stuck listening to hold music and ringing. I did get a human on the line once who then transferred me where I waited again and was sent to the automated system... Again. Nice job losing a sale and the rest of any future business.
This place is joke. Ordered a washing machine and was suppose to have delivered. After calling the morning of my delivery to make sure I was on schedule (Talked to Eric) and he assured me I would have delivered that day - Took the day off work to stay home and wait. At 6:00PM that night I received a recorded phone call that I wasnt getting my delivery and it was pushed to the following afternoon. That day I called the store and asked for Store Manager. Brandon answered the phone and i stated my problem to him took a day off work to wait for delivery and now I had to take another day off work to wait again - He did not care. Then he proceeded to tell me that I was on schedule for delivery of my new washer that day either and couldnt tell me when I was going to get. Brandon is very useless and does not know what he is doing. I cancelled the order and went to Sears and bought a washing machine and had it the same day. If you need appliances just go to Sears and dont waste your time with Lowes. At Sears they are friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating!!!!
February 13, 2020. Ordered dishwasher by phone. Delivered feb 16. Wrong model. Second delivery Feb 18. Charges for both remain on my card. Attempted to call store today, Feb 21, 7 times so far. First call transferred and disconnected, subsequent calls to appliance department not answered. This store appears to be a sick joke.
I travel for a living and use Lowe’s everywhere I go, so I’ve been to hundreds of Lowe’s. I have never experienced authentic customer service as I have at this store. I’ve literally never written a review for anything but I was totally caught off guard at how pleasant the staff is. Kudos!
Customer Service? Custom kitchen countertop? Neither. Apparently the fabricators who work for Lowes are no longer the same company. Waiting for a phone call for a new quote. Its been two days sinceI learned this, and a week has passed since we started. I called to speak to someone about it today, no one answered, so I kept calling, finally after 30 min I then asked to speak to management, I was redirected to a fake line that just rang and rang. Cool, guess Ill give my money to another company.
I was inconvenienced by a scheduled appointment which was cancelled without notification, having driven in inclement weather. However when the appointment did happen some days later, it was very helpful. I had a kitchen design consult with a knowledgeable consultant and was able to finalize my order with confidence in the results.
Every time I go here there is alway a problem. I finally gave it a another try on 7/9/19 and I was disappointed once again. Trying to find an employee who will help you is a task on its own. Most associates will tell you I dont work in that department.. then tell you to look for someone else as they just hang around. I left the store today after being told by an employee to try another place. Well when I called later in the day after seeing that they do carry what I need it took 15mins to get someone to pick up a phone. Well this ended in me asking for them to go to the shelf and look to make sure that they had the product ( online said they had 10). Guess what they couldnt find any! This store is not well run. I dont understand how employees can be so lazy and their inventory is always incorrect online. Note this is not the first time the online site said multiple items were instock and they had 3 or more. I doubt that the product sold out in the last hr or so.
Every Lowes is pretty much the same; understaffed and overpriced. I wouldnt come here at all if they didnt carry a particular product I need, but even so, I always seem to grab the last gallon of what I need, which makes me nervous because I have to purchase this item about once a month.
Saw some beautiful Christmas lights that were on two discounts asked the employee (woman) to help me to understand the special deal. Unfortunately, she gave me a cold response. I Requested to talk with the manager Hernan. He explained the situation and kindly offered me to an extra discount. Not only did he clarify my confusion but gave me a good deal for the lights. I really found Christmas there.
Im a lowes guy through and through. Unfortunately this location isnt my favorite store to use. The shopping carts need to be replaced. If they arent stuck together at the front door, then youll probably get one with a jacked up wheel. Or...Theres just zero carts at the front door. Stop being cheap, get some new carts!Another issue I have is that I find a lot of items that are obvious returns. Packages stapled together, pieces hanging out of the package. This doesnt give you confidence when you grab a package like this. Not the worst place to go, its better than home Depot any day...but the management needs to take better care of this location. It could be the best store around.
Everything you required for your home improvements available in one location. Free parking and sales occur daily. Call ahead or order on line for store pickup. Staff are friendly and efficient and available to answer your questions in store or on telephone. Credit card accepted and veterans discounts are offered.
Very poor customer service. (Niagara Falls, On Lowes) What a run around when asking an employee for some help. The experience was in the flooring dept where a customer service person promised to help. She was very rude to us when asking her for help. She said it better be a quick question as she was busy granted we were the only customers in the flooring dept at the time. On her shirt I couldnt help but notice the words Customer Service She said she would be right back in a couple of minutes. Over 45 min went by & finally we asked someone from the lumber dept to help. He did so reluctantly & said to ask someone in flooring. The girl in flooring no where in sight. Of the 3 service people we eventually talked to, none were helpful & seemed as though they hated their jobs & had somewhere else they wanted to be. No help at all. We finally just picked up something on sale forgetting what we went in the store for. This experience now into 1 1/2 hrs. We had other things we needed to pick up & opted to do that at Home Depot where the service is much better.

2022-06-07Bought some perennials/potting soil for the garden and plumbers tape that I couldnt find even with with the location indicated on their website. But with the help of an associate who was extremely helpful, we finally found it. Now thats customer service at its best!

2021-12-13This store is located right off the thruway exit, in a plaza with every store you can imagine. Most everything you need for home improvement. Make your own keys available near front registers.

2021-10-20When I arrived at the store I asked a cashier where I would find microwaves. She said appliances. I said well which way are appliances and she said Im not sure. Well I found my way to appliances, and found a microwave that I wanted, but I didnt see a box with the picture that matched the one I liked. So I asked a worker. She went out of her way to look for me, she even went in the back to see if they had any in stock. In the meantime, I discovered that there indeed was a box containing a microwave with numbers matching the the one I wanted. The confusing thing was it just didnt look like the picture. She returned with a couple a box is the same number as the one I wanted, and of course I informed her that I had actually found one. She was wonderful. Very attentive and very personable. Wasnt the least bit put out at looking for something for me. At the checkout, I just wanted to be sure that it was the same one that I really wanted and asked if we could open the box to double check. The girl was very agreeable and did so. So all in all I had a great experience at Lowes at Niagara falls boulevard plaza.

2022-03-18Two employees chatting while assembling something in Tools. I was looking at the various brands of power drivers long enough for them to know I was serious about purchasing one, and obviously had questions. Neither employee asked if I needed help or seemed to notice. I didnt want to interrupt their conversation and task, so left. Will be going to Home Depot to see if they actually want to make a sale. I shop online, but cant hold the drivers for weight and ergonomic aspects on the websites. Store was clean and well-labeled, employees just seem to lack drive to make a sale. Perhaps Lowes needs an employee incentive program, or to revamp one they may have

2021-11-11Just be prepared with someone who can install gas hookups. Lowes will not do this service and unfortunately there is no heads up if you order online. Delivery driver said they would come by to pick it up yesterday after we found someone to hookup the new stove. Come 8pm nobody came and we never heard back. So I’m just looking at our old stove in the dining room while my husband calls customer service. Very disappointed and inconvenienced.

2022-05-27I shop here for my job as well as personal. The people are great and helpful. The folks from the pro desk are awesome and I always stop by to say hello to them. Always be on the lookout for clearance items as you may never know what great things they have. What more can I say.

2022-04-07A corporation that actually cares about the people! As a professional contractor, I have noticed a significant effort toward making the experience of shopping better and easier for professionals. They have great new spending and rewards programs if you do high volumes of sales. They are always making sure you are satisfied and asking for feedback. Contractors shop here!

2022-06-16So. Lowes is Lowes. Mostly I frequent garden center but Ive been known to need stuff for a few projects as well. Decent perennial offering. Interesting dahlias each season but some of them look neglected after a couple weeks waiting for a home so buy early. Nice cashiers. I get my potting soil there every year. I do a lot of pots. I realize you dont care about that and Im OK with it. Lets see. What else? Oh, I know. I got a coreopsis this year at Lowes. I guess thats all for now. You have a good one, OK?

2022-06-21Waited 2 hours at the store for someone to tell me they couldn’t find the chairs I ordered. I get home & open the box that they said was my tent to find out it was the chairs they were looking for. Talked to 2 managers that looked for the chairs that day. Now I call to let them know that I have the chairs and don’t have the tent. They keep “transferring me to a manager” that just rings and rings. Now I call customer service back and they won’t answer. I’ve been respectful and just want to know where the tent is. Was there on Saturday, They also said they would call me Monday and never did. I now don’t have a tent & it’s Tuesday. Will I have to go to the store to waste more time and wait while they now look for a tent they can’t find too? Or would they find it knowing what they’re actually looking for? Seeing as how lowes wont answer the phone. It’s also already paid for.

2021-10-01Hannah and I believe his name was Zale were absolutely fantastic. I came in with a problem about needing a proper license plate screw for my car and they were so helpful. They really cared that we got things right. It has been my experience that the people at Lowe’s go out of their way to make sure you get the right piece of hardware or equipment whereas the people at the big hardware store are not helpful.
