We were in desperate need of a new washing machine and looked everywhere online and read a million reviews. We narrowed it down and called the store first to make sure they were in stock. Patrick was amazing and ran back and forth to let us know the inventory. When we arrived, Patrick answered every single one of my questions. I had a lot because I didn’t want to get stuck with a washer like my old one. He was very knowledgeable and we appreciate the time he took to help us. They helped my husband load it on the truck and I spent a glamorous evening catching up on laundry!We definitely recommend this Lowe’s location!
Placed an online order for counter tops. After 3 hours i get a call saying they are not in stock. I have talked to 4 different people and no one can tell me when they will be back in stock, or if they have ordered them. However they have had no problem telling meI can order custom ones at 4x the cost. Clearly Home Depot is the better route for counter tops and customer service.
I will never go to this location again. Customer service have no idea what theyre talking about, not to mention there is no communication once soever. False advertising on pricing and special financing, as well as over charging on their products (by hundreds of dollars than advertised mind you). Very disappointed as I loved Lowes until moved out of the Buffalo, NY region.
Saw a item marked down. They said it was the last one and it was a unopened box, well there was tape on it that wasnt from the factory so I opened it. Only thing In the box was the sink. Faucet and all accessorys that were supposed to come with it were missing. Nice of them to repackage it and not list major missing items. I was told it was as is and thats why I opened it.
Its a big box, and thats what you get. The employees are focused on inventory & not the customer. I have been here when there was no cashier (self checkout or the return desk). Once a request for help to select & load lumber was denied, which I couldnt believe. They were too busy restocking. They are conveniently located, but not the cheapest, friendliest or easiest to check out.
This specific Lowes is pretty much a glorified Walmart.Staff doesnt know anything; Things posted online as being in-stock are typically missing; unfriendly.Update: Recently ate a $35 loss because the checkers dont know how to use their equipment and I didnt want to waste the gas or time to come back.
I had a frustrating experience with ordering my washing machine from Lowes website. Though the machine was in stock, it didnt actually ship to the warehouse from the distribution center for two weeks. However, the people at this warehouse were awesome! They were happy to answer my questions, and kept me up-to-date on when they expected my machine to arrive (which was far more helpful than the so called order tracker on Lowes website). From the delivery coordinator to the two men who actually delivered my machine, everyone was great. I will definitely do business with this location again!
For the second time I have ordered. something online and waited a week and more past the scheduled delivery date without any help or answer from anyone on the arrival of my item. Today I will be canceling that order and order my $600 item to purchase it from Home Depot. I never again will order from Lowes and only buy if it is in store. Everytime I ask for assistance, all I can get is we have no update from the vendor, which is not the associates fault. But as a company your process and accountability has failed. If someone would like to reach out and help me great, but other wise I will finish this home project with the assistance of Home Depot.
I sat there waiting for someone to help me it the appliances desk found someone to call for the appliances person. Waited then went to the register and was told the appliances guy called in and the manager was in a interview and to find the plumbing guy. The guy said he would look. Couldnt find the product and would find someone to help us. Another guy came to ask if we needed help we told him we were being helped. He went to check on the guy that was originally going to help us and he told us they guy wasnt going to come back. Spent a hour waiting
I normally shop at Home Depot as I have a commercial account but Ill go to Lowes for small items as its close by. My most recent trip was extremely disappointing as I waited in line for 15 minutes to complete my purchase while the cashier fumbled her way through transaction and 4 other people at customer service stood there and did NOTHING to assist her! Also there was a manager and another employee by the entrance who didnt do anything to assist. My other issue is that it can sometimes be hard to find someone to assist you!P.S. If your company is going to offer glass cutting you need to be able to do angled cuts!
I ordered items for curbside pick up. I called the exchange for curbside pick up and after ringing for a minute or two, it would return to the main menu. I tried for about 15 minutes and then tried repeatedly to call the customer service exchange with the same result. I finally had to go into the store to get my order. I understand that there are times a store is busy, but there is NO excuse for a customer to call for a half hour without someone answering and at least giving you an idea of when you’ll get assistance. I am a cancer patient and am trying to limit my exposure. Terrible job Lowe’s! Home Depot has been much more reliable.
This store rarely has anything I need, most of their construction supplies is low cost high sell and selection is absolutely terrible. Their store brand hand tools are slightly above Harbor Freight quality. Employees if you can find one are not knowledgeable. The only employees that know anything about construction work in the window and Door Dept everybody else seems like a stock boy/gal.
Bought a Charbroil 6 burner performance grill at a pretty phenomenal price. After taking it home, it appeared that the regulator wasnt quite connecting as well as it should have and I could tell there was a leak.Spoke with Stephen, one of the managers, who went above and beyond helping me resolve this issue. He exchanged the grill, bought a new tank just to be extra sure, and made sure we were well taken care of. Cannot recommend this Lowes enough. Thank you Stephen.
Drive e all the way out there since Greece didnt have enough of tiles I needed, this store had 402 pieces but different price and management wouldnt match because it was a discontinued item at other locations so it wasnt worth my time gave me a discount of 21 cent where I paid 1.21 a tile before now $2 a tile I only need 14 tile. So not my go to store anymore, I had other poor experiences at Lowes in the last month so chances have been used up.
Its cleaner than other stores, very friendly help, more of a selection. I like this chain better than the other but also miss the small, independent stores. Their panel saws are quite handy for getting some sheet good cut. I wish they would stock some of the more modern home improvement supplies that I read about in magazines. Overall, usually a good experience.
Got the third time my visit to the store was meet with excused got not having enough associates to guide and assist us. This will not be my choice got my personal and business hardware or lumber needs in the future. I suggest if you plan to do Lowes Bribery you set aside an abundant skiing of time got hunting down your interned doing list!
Unless you ask for help you wont receive any. The employees are nice, and friendly but wont ask if you need help. Theres quite a few that stand around and are on their phones or are talking to each other. Sometimes its difficult to actually find someone to help you out, especially in the lumber area. I think the store is nice, however, I miss the days of Chase Pitkin when there were employees hired for specific departments and when someone went into their department they were asked if they needed help and what could they do to help them. I think if more employees took the initiative to help people coming to shop in the store theyre hired to work at it would help people out a lot!
Waited 20 min. In plumbing ,another worker said the person in that dept.was on lunch.So I left n needed to order 48in bath vanity n top n mirror..guess Ill do it myself on line..forget it I went to the greece store they had everything in stock where as brockport I would of had to order.
I had a good experience with purchasing a mower, I used it, and it was failing left and right. I had called a number of times, but with change of management they took a bit to get around to addressing my issues. It was sent for repairs, came back with little fixed (if anything, honestly it was on Wehner Mower and not Lowes...) so I called to complain and the end result was an exchange for a brand new mower. That. Is. Service. I have had small issues here and there, almost left as a LONG TIME Lowes patron ($20,000.00 plus was spent there vs. somewhere else...) and they very well could have saved themselves with this honest and fair decision to right the wrong they helped create. I remain a Loyal Lowes guy...
Have been shopping at a competition for some time due to convenience, but never again.The cleanliness, organization of store, and helpfulness of staff were excellent! I asked a young man questions about items in 4 different departments from one end of store to the other,and was able to not just direct me but give info on my choice of products!Well done and Thank You...Spent almost a grand, and not at all concerned about the need to return anything!
Jeremy from flooring was very helpful and patient, he even helped us to the car with our purchases. The garden center employee was also helpful but the cashier inside was had a bad attitude while cashing us out, it was very off-putting, especially when we were making such a large purchase
We went there to buy some blinds for our newly renovated bathrooms. We had traveled 30 min. to get there to find that there wasnt anyone working in that department today who could help us. We promptly left, went to Home Depot, where we got wonderful service and ordered just what we wanted.
I called lowes to confirm that they had my order and customer service confirmed they had it over the phone. After a 30 minute drive to lowes, I waited well over 30 minutes for an online pick up order that they could not find. Even though 30 minutes prior to they confirmed they had it waiting for me over the phone. The manager offered me a $0.53 discount on an order they could not even find. My one-year-old was with me and enjoyed her time at lowes as much as I did. I thought the point of online pick up was for customer convenience, I guess not. Thank you was wasting almost 2 hours of my weekend. Disappointed, Ill be sticking to Amazon in the future if only Amazon sold lumber I would never have to deal with your incompetence again.
This is my go-to spot! Sometimes you run into staff members that dont know how to answer your project questions but other than that the place is perfect. I have never had any concerns about my returns or anything else. The place is always clean and up-to-date with appliances. This place will have absolutely everything you need for all your home project needs.
Lowes has many good products, and staff try to be helpful. Where they seem to come up short is in organization and follow through. We experienced quite a bit of that buying flooring a year ago. Then recently we bought a dryer and our order somehow never made it into the system. Luckily I called to check when 3 of the 4 hour wait time was up, and they were good, they found a dryer, sent it out, gave a discount for the confusion, but still, would have just liked it if theyd come when they said they were...
Went to match a color of paint that was done in a brand that Lowes no longer carries. They were able to match the color perfectly and very helpful in answering all of our questions. We love their oops paint where else can you get a $50 can of exterior paint for $10. Thank you for the good service and wonderful employees.
Not the best lowes, not a lot of decent contractor supplies, had an issue with this one over a washer I bought that got shifted from store to store...Today went there dropped someone off to do a return, they asked for ID , he gave his passport, they didnt know how to accept it... hello? I understand that stores have policies and many set forth to prevent theft which I agree with but a passport is acceptable federal and international ID... if they needed to they could have taken a photo copy... plus the return was for store credit and under 200 bucks. Ugh
If you are interested in protecting yourself from Covid, you may want to pick Runnings, or Tractor Supply or Walmart, because it took me 4 sales people to find one that had their noses covered by their masks. When I spoke to the store manager - Tim, he just listened, essentially just waiting for me to stop speaking with him and said nothing essentially. So if this is what they consider protecting their customers - find another store or drive in to Home Depot. Maybe they know how to wear their masks properly to protect you.
The appliance department has been terrible to work with 2 months later and still have not received our washer and dryer first time they tried to deliver it the day of they realized it was badly damaged. So we waited another month and now the delivery is going to be 2 hrs late no call to let us know that....nothing...we also had a refrigerator and dishwasher delivered by them again sub par service would never go through lowes again.
No one around to help find what we were looking for. Finally found it ourselves. When we cashed out asked if we could get help loading the drywall. No one showed up so had to go back in the store to ask again for help. Much better service at home Depot in Batavia. There someone is always walking by willing to help and offer assistance.
I easily found what I was looking for and staff was available and genuinely informed me if I needed any assistance to let them know. The cashier also helped out with an issue I was having with my card and did not expect that. Lowes also being a large store has a large variety of similar products to choose from. For example I purchased a trimmer this day and there were a wide range to choose from to fit everyones budget.
Today my husband and I went to Brockport Lowes to purchase electrical supplies and had a lot of questions.Luckily, an employee named Vince showed up and assisted us and was able to answer all our questions and get us the right supplies that we needed. What was most impressive about Vince was his knowledge and patience and the fact that he did all this in the most friendliest and caring way! We are glad we encountered him, since he made our experience a pleasant one!!
Not a good experience. We are building a deck and have purchased all supplies from Lowes. Every time we go there to buy more wood we have to look thru at least 10 boards to get a good one!! Also made a $30 return today and the manager gave us a hassle! Not good business.
Place was very busy, but for the first time in quite a while they had enough staff. Staff was helpful and informative. I asked for assistance once. The guy knew right where it was. I was approached twice by 2 of their (younger) staff members which was a welcome change.
Cashiers are constantly full of bad information when I go here. Today I was told they will not price match Amazon but then I get home and the lowes website clearly states they do. Cost me $30 on a dewalt tool. Time before cashiers were trashing customers for being in the store closed to closing and how annoying we were
I have always loved Lowes the people that work there and I emphasize there, are wonderful. I had the worst experience ever with the carpet that the contracters installed, they were not from Lowes, the carpet was. They ruined my doors in the living room by cutting them down the wrong way without tape and the bottom of both wood doors splintered, they set up their boom box in the bathroom as soon as they came in and never asked if it was all right, never introduced themselves, left the leftovers in the garage, never asked me where I wanted it as if I can lift it myself, left the mess on the garage door floor from cutting the doors.. It has taken a week for any one to get back to me from the contract team and I had to call them. Just do not buy carpet from Lowes go to a carpet store.
Needed new window shades so I brought in old ones so they could cut for an exact fit. Well the worker cut them too big. I guess she could not read a tape measure. Called and talk to a so called rude manager named Michael and was told policy was not to return. I said you cut them wrong and I just wanted a refund. Said I would call district manager and he hung up on me. So I called back and said I never experienced a manager acting this way. The funny thing was if he would of been professional about it and apologized I might of let them re cut them. So I just went in and just returned to someone at front counter who had no idea. Sorry mike but I got my refund anyway. I would like to know if this guy was a store manager or a department manager.
I purchased a Pitt Boss pellet grill less than a year ago. The auger and motor failed. I called customer service at the Brockport Lowe’s and after explaining my problem to Alyssa, she put me on a brief hold. I was told to bring it in for a full store credit. Fantastic job. I Remodled my kitchen recently and I purchased all my appliances from that store and will continue to do so. Thank you for the great customer service Lowe’s.
Horrible Customer service. Online ordering, curbside pickup a complete joke. Person picking order for me was nasty to me, wanted to know who told me order was ready. Email confirmation night before Said it was ready. Heard Lowes is going out of business, not surprised. Horrible place.
What a terrible experience i just had! Was looking for a back panel to a stand up shower wall, needed some help, when someone finally showed up 15 minutes later he helped someone who just showed up that was an isle over from where we were. After he finds the wall 3 isles away from where it was supposed to be, he does nothing to help me pull it down from the upper shelf it was on. Then I get to the line to cash out, the cashier does nothing to acknowledge me to let me know she can cash me out with my 2 carts full of stuff. Finally i have to order a door frame that shouldve been in stock and was told it wont be in for a week! A week?!? To order an IN STOCK door frame? I can order a crate chevy motor and have it here in two days but it will take me a WEEK to order a product you are supposed to have in stock?!? I will be taking the remainder of my $15,000 renovation purchases to Home Depot.Thanks,Steve
Ordered 1 board and one can of stain at 10 am. For store pickup. Went into the store after 3pm to pick up the 2 items. Nicole at customer service explained how they were really busy. Didnt get my items. Go to lowes on ridge. Had nothing but problems with pure laziness at brockport.
Cannot find anyone with knowledge or for that matter anyone to help inside store. When an employee sees you coming they seem to go the other way. Spots in the store where employees gather to chat about their weekends, why cant they help customers. Worst part is Lowes and HD have put small hardware stores out of business so all we are left to do is wander isles and wonder where things are.
DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM A GAL NAMED MEGHAN. MEGHAN accused me of yelling at her when I wasnt, she called me a name, and then laughed at me. MEGHAN is rude and not very customer friendly. Spoke with her manager and got everything settled without the help of MEGHAN. What led up to this encounter with MEGHAN is a long story that would not have happened if MEGHAN was better able to work with customers.
This may be the best hardware store in the brockport area. I also find myself going out of the way for other Lowes over the orange guys. Im not a professional Carpenter but I am a professional welder. This store feels more geared for my causal Carpenter needs but always has wear my house needs. Price tend to be with on reason of everyone elses. Try your local Lowes today.
Usually I dont do reviews but this time; we ordered a new stove top, we were told it would be in in 4 days. We get a call 2 days later saying that the store actually didnt have any in stock, it was their display that was accounted for in their inventory. Now were told 2 weeks. Another call that it will not be in for 3 more weeks. Almost a month and a half at this point. Finally we get it and its shattered!!!! So we had to wait 2 more weeks, and now its finally in....lets see if this ones cracked.....
Just needed 2 items..a key made and a new push broom. Helpful associate saw us looking at a do it yourself key kiosk, and pointed out a person to make keys was at the hardware desk. That saved time and frustration. That person, in turn, told us where we could find the push brooms. We have difficulty walking, and the helpfulness saved us alot of painful steps.
No one was working in lumber asked three people for help. One girl said I have to make some calls first then I can help. The other two said this is not there department. Then I started. Being a ass then I got help two hours later. it was my order of 38 decking 10 ft and 53 decking 16ft they were up in the air. Everytime its a four hour job great job Lowes.
I went in there with the measurements for the length of wood that I went to the gentleman to cut it. The saw was off by roughly half an inch. It took them 45 minutes to cut 12 foot long 2x4 love of wood and they butchered the other 2 that I wanted. I ended up buying the one 12ft of wood and having to get someone else to fix it.
This Lowes is huge and has great selections, but good luck finding anything or anyone to help you find it. And Im dinging them because they post everything in English and Spanish. I guess Im a racist, but I find that really annoying. I suppose that is capitalism at its finest. They are catering to a big percentage of their patrons. I still find it annoying and go out of my way to go to HD instead.
My husband and I are looking to purchase specific floor tiles and Lowes website says there are over 400 boxes in stock at Brockport. We ordered the tiles and then recieved a phone call to say they cant find the tiles and will not honor sales price to ship the tiles to the store. This is poor customer service and false advertising. Other stores (supposedly) have the tile in stock but it is not on sale. The rep who called us said that if we can nationally find a better price on the tiles THEN they will offer it. We are very disapointed and surprised at the lack of accountability that Lowes is displaying.
Picked up an impact drill from a display that said $99. Went to purchase it, rang up $169. I said that isnt right, she called over Steve from inside garden who told me I must have grabbed the wrong one. Never went to check, so I went and grabbed the giant sign that said $99. No its ok Steve, Ill do your job for you. Guess what Steve, I was right.
I not only purchased all I needed for a new bathroom at Lowes in Brockport, but also had them install it. Having used another Brockport contractor in the past with completely miserable results ending in a continuing lawsuit, I was weary of bringing in another contractor to my home. The entire Lowes team was AMAZING from start to finish with the job. They worked with me to create a budget conscious plan and sent a highly competent and friendly independent contractor to do the work. He addressed any question I had with a thoughtful and thorough response and made sure I was completely satisfied. Lowes also sent to my home, the Installation Manager from the store as well as their Regional Manager for all of WNY to check on my project and to make sure I was very satisfied. I was very impressed with this and was even more grateful for the information they provided me about my projects new and old. I would highly recommend their installation services if you feel you are unable to do a specific home remodeling job yourself. Way to go, Lowes! You have my business again and again!
Ive known Gary for quite a bit. He has always helped me with any home improvement projects Ive had. He not only leads you to the exact aisle, but shows you how to use a tool, and listens to any and all of your concerns. He doesnt look down on you as a woman. He is very respectful. He is a major reason why I stop there. The Brockport Lowes is superior in my opinion.
Have yet to order and schedule an install through this Lowes on time. The worst part is if you schedule a day off from work to accommodate the scheduled install, you will then receive a the afternoon prior with a cancellation. The stores response, golly gee sorry. Dont order any contact work through this Lowes.
Third time in a row with poor or NO service at outdoor pickup area for mulch and pavers.First time 30 bags mulch and some pavers ,no help showed up as we had requested.Second time bought 30 bags mulch that was palleted. to save time we looked outdoors first and found a pallet with 36 on it and removed 6. Waited 22 minutes for manager to show up to let forklift driver out!Today another 30 bags mulch. No help showed up for us nor another 80ish year old man. So we loaded both vehicles. He would still be there waiting.
Brockport Lowes is awful. I waited 35 minutes for an employee to bring a door from the back just to realize they grabbed the wrong swinging door. The employee said they would be right back with the correct door, which took another 25 minutes!! Not one person seemed to care that this SIMPLE process took an hr to complete. Lowes has confirmed that I will always be a HOME DEPOT customer from now on
Online ordering is a joke especially when delivery is involved. Customer service is clueless and when you try to reach the delivery department to get information regarding delivery time, nobody answers. Spoke to a manger who said she would call back in 5 minutes. Never happened.
I asked 5 workers for a special item they had me going from one end of the store to another. Finally a young man attempted to help but had no clue what I was looking for. It was a bracket to hang over a fence to hold flower baskets. Just seemed I was bothering them all, not really willing to want to help
I bought a 50a sub panel box, the breaker was bad, I attempted to exchange the breaker by swapping from another kit but the store manager would not allow that, said he needed everything back, it was all hard wired in at that point, he was rude and unprofessional, I ended up buying a new panel, swapping the breaker in the driveway, then returning 5 min later, he showed no understanding of the situation and dismissed me

2021-10-01We went in to look for a new freezer. We glanced through and were going to leave to make our decision when staff member Jarrett, came to assist us. He was very knowledgeable about all of the appliances and very personable. He helped us pick out the perfect freezer for us and arranged for us to receive it in just two days! Great store, great selections and great prices, all with an amazing staff!

2022-06-24Staff friendly but everyone seemed kind of lost. They have their own departments and the wood cutter was not in the lumber dept. like their website states. I asked 2 employees if they knew where the person was. They were unable to locate so they did the best they could to help. I appreciate the effort and time but we got home and our cut piece was 1.5 inches off of what we did ask for. We ended up just cutting it the next day when we went to work. It wasn’t a huge issue just put a delay in things. So make sure to measure on your way out just to be sure! I do thank the staff. They had a sense of humor and I love that!

2022-06-05I just went into the garden factory. Young man helped me get 5 gal buckets from another part of the store and brought to me. He also helped me get soil . Very nice, polite, and friendly. So was the girl that checked me out. Customer service is very important. That made me enjoy shopping there today.

2022-03-27I was supposed to get a deck installed Aug 12 2021 before my wife passes from cancer. Contractor never called Lowes rescheduled for Nov. Never got a call, did not show up. Told them to store my materials over winter and never got a new installation date. Called them middle of march, and they said it was completed. Been waiting for a week now for someone to contact me about an installation date, the phone is still silent, and now my wife will never get the chance to enjoy her deck

2022-02-20Terrible service. The Lowes in BROCKPORT delivered a scratched up refrigerator. They didn’t install my dishwasher and never delivered my stove. 3 weeks later still no stove. They continue giving me the run around and false delivery dates. Their customer service sucks. On the phone or in the store, it’s terrible. I gave them 1 star because that’s the least you can give them. They deserve 0 stars

2022-05-05I wish lowes had employees that were knowledgeable about their departments. Ive asked 3 of their employees a question about a product not one of them even knew that they sold the product . I guess tictoc ING and snap chatting are the only thing they do there ?
