Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
The young man who helped me in store was so patient, and pleasant.Lowes Commack had exactly what I wanted, although their website & app said it was not in stock there. This has happened more than twice, please update your systems. Other than that I had a great experience with Lowes as always.
The place it very nice, very clean and 🕯️ the service not the greatest no one asked if I needed help . When I did call someone over they helped and sent me on my merry way. I bought a very large item to heave for me to lift. After waiting for over 20 minutes I finally flagged a passerby who was so kind to load it in my car. He said he worked for a competitor store( read Home Depot). Did not look like there were many employees either.
Employees were very helpful. My husband and I were looking at a bathroom cabinet and sink. The one I liked wasnt in stock. We asked if they would know if it was in stock at another location. The employee we were dealing with said he would call but they dont always pick up. The manager took over the call and I guess he didnt want to wait on hold anymore he told us we can go to the Bay Shore location they have 6 in stocks. It was getting late my husband rushed over to the Bay Shore location and guess what they didnt have any at all! I wanted to go back and ask him why did he have to lie but it was late. Bottom line its sad to say people cannot be trusted! Poor management.
Horrible, rude customer service in the Commack location. I attempted to return, even just for store credit an item which online states 90 days. Prior to returning, I called the location who advised me I could get a store credit. Drove there and a different person, said she was incorrect. What a wasted trip and to be talked to in such a manner, never getting the manager.Customer service in store stating 30 days. I called Lowes direct who informed me that I could not go by what it is written on the website, for they are not fully updated. Please Lowes. It is not fair to post a 90 day return on an item when the store in Commack says 30. Hello HOME DEPOT, GOODBYE Lowes. Yes, I had a receipt along with full packaging.
We just had an excellent experience at this store. The customer representative, Tyrone, in the plumbing department was informative, kind and patient. With his help we purchased a kitchen sink and a faucet. He was the nicest Lowe’s employee I’ve come across in a very long while.
Awesome staff. I was looking for an item that was a bit difficult to find and a bevy of staff were open to helping me out, and did. I can tell that many of the employees and managers really care. I never complain when it comes to retail stores and such but my time at Lowes was certainly easier and more enjoyable than usual!
I ordered a ride-on lawn mower from here. The morning of my scheduled delivery they leave me a message saying that it was inputted as the wrong type of delivery and they werent able to deliver it that day. I was disappointed but was willing to reschedule. I have been calling since Saturday and absolutely no answer. I am giving it a couple of days before canceling my order and taking my business elsewhere.
Take your time Lowes Home Improvement is a big place large orders everyday. Patience is something we all have, time not all of us have time, but we have plenty of patience how much all depends on the quality, before the quantity because if the items is no good with a large amount of quantity were need more patience then we can stands.Lowes get the job done the first time, with the best of Lowes everyday low prices and best products.
A great shopping experience! Tee (a store associate) is the best! He is absolutely incredible and he is really knowledgeable and helped us get everything we needed. He was even there to help us check out. The Lowe’s is pretty standard but Tee is what makes this one really stand out!
I ordered appliances back in November, I understand there have been delays in delivery due to Covid but lowes keeps giving delivery dates then rescheduling the day before. They have rescheduled my delivery 5 times now and are impossible to get a hold of. Every time I call customer service or delivery it just rings out, this has been going on for some time.
Great service, They actually want to help you. Andrew from hardware basically spent a good 20 mins with me, going over the tools and options for my project needs. Saved me hours of online research and video watching. Also another Older Gentleman in Lights section was super helpful. I will be taking all my business here just coz people are so much nicer and actually want to help you. THD is closer to me but talking to anyone there is such a worse experience, so I will drive 5 mins longer.
Had a horrible experience with Lowes. Cashier was giving me an extremely hard time and told me the store did not hold items in the store for customers and had to speak to a manager, who confirmed that they do hold items in the store for up to 7 days. I got my items, purchased them, and set them up for pick up for another time. This turned a quick hour trip into a 3 hour expedition all because staff was not familiar with their store policies regarding holding items in the store. When I went to pick up my items within the given time period, I find that a majority of my items had gone missing and the store re-sold my items to to other customers in the store.
The customer service in this Store is unexceptabe...I have called this store 3 days in a row and every associate that answered the phone just kept me waiting and kept transfering me to associates that have absolutely no knowledge of the store. At one point I was waiting on hold for 42 minutes...UNEXCEPTABLE...its about time that people understand what customer service is and how to treat customers. Home depot here I come.
They have one register open for purchases. Only one for returns. And all self checkout closed. Waited for a good bit to get my shades cut to size. Waited on a long line. While my newborn was in the car (with her grandma). I asked multiple times to make sure the shades were the right length as it’s hard getting out of the house with the baby and this location was half hour away. The associate assured me it was. Got home it was INCHES too short. I totally wasted my afternoon. Went back the next day to exchange it and there was a huge line. I ended up just returning it and bringing my business to Home Depot instead, there I was in and out and my shades finally fit!
I needed to purchase a few feet of pipe and was unable to find suitable help. I spoke to an assistant manager, Kenny. He was concerned and sincerely apologetic for my not being able to get help. I truly felt listened to. He then found what I needed and solved my problem. Another employee, Ralph, helped also. They were both very professional and turned my experience around. I’ll go back.
We are been doing a few DIY projects in our home which means daily trips to home improvement stores. We have found our designated store! This Lowe’s store is clean, well organized, easy to navigate, and well lighted.Everyone we have encountered so far has been helpful and displayed great customer service especially the representatives in returns, paint, and window treatments (blinds). But there is one representative who showed exceptional customer service and have left a positive lasting impression on me. A few days ago I met Ralph from Electrical and have nothing but good things to say about him. He demonstrated excellent customer service and product knowledge, was kind and willing to help. He did not point down the isle but actually brought me to the product I was looking for, made helpful suggestions and assisted with other items by finding the representative from that department. Thank you Ralph, you have made this Lowe’s my home store.Belinda
Melissa from customer is a very nasty employee and has no business working in customer service!! I was asking another employee about how to order something online because it wasn’t in the store and she jumped in to tell me if they don’t have it in the store I can’t order it, but it wasn’t what she said but how she said it! VERY unprofessional and needs training before working at a customer service desk!!
Lowes was clean and full of shoppers. I needed help and I quickly found someone in paint department to help me. He recommended the right paint and described how to prepare. They had a register clerk check me out as other home improvement stores have removed cashiers. I like that Lowes still uses people to check out customers. I was happy with my purchase.
Found exactly what I was looking for within mins of entering the store. An associate gave me perfect directions to the requested item and upon getting there I had another associate asking me if I had questions or needed help. One of the best experiences Ive had in a home improvement store.
Dealing with a new house is always fun so Lowes is our new best friend. The only reason we didnt give it five stars is that the online pickup wait is often long and the line to check out can be quite long. Other than that the people are super friendly and they have mostly what you need given the Covid crisis. Theyve actually been much better than Home Depot.
My parents bought a washing machine that was too deep for my petite mother. I called and found we could make an exchange. We waited a bit for service, maybe 15 minutes, but it was well worth the wait! George helped us and he was extremely courteous, kind and helpful. He quickly checked stock on another washer they picked out, made the exchange and had it delivered the next day. THANK YOU SO MUCH LOWES AND GEORGE! I could not bear the thought of my 84 year old mother standing on a stool to do the laundry. Great policy, great customer service!
The contractor we used for the windows was quite reusing waterlogged wood from the old windows to make a new frame. There were some issues with caulking and the front bay window leaks during a storm and the owner of the contractor that Lowes used insisted that we left the window open. He just wasn’t listening and eventually we proved that we didn’t leave the window open and they had to make a change to the installation. Read your card
I have never in my life written a review. But honestly I had to this time. The materials they sell are good and that’s the only good thing. We went their 2 different times and customer service was absolute trash. I was with my uncle and he can’t speak a lot of English and a worker there was really rude to him. There is always a nice way to respond but he was just consistently rude.I let it go cause maybe he was having a bad day. Whatever. Then we had someone come in to check our room size for carpets. The guy that came was soo rude. He walked in and he was nice but after he went upstairs where the rooms were his attitude changed. We are currently renovating our house so have a lot of stuff in our rooms. I was asking him questions and he literally ignored me. Like looked at and decided not to answer type of ignoring. I don’t think I have ever been this disrespectful in my life. As he was leaving he was like “ are we going to rip of the carpets”. I said yeah because someone in the store said they would do it for free. He doesn’t respond. And then he leaves. Overall never been more disappointed in my life. I know for a fact I did not over read the situation because it’s something I don’t do. But this was too much. Worst customer service in my life
Im being very generous with the one star. My first experience this week I was left hanging for 25 minutes in the electrical department. No one ever came. So I left.My second experience was giving them the benefit of the doubt. I stood on line waiting in the self check out watching only one worker working my entire time I was there. For over 45 minutes I waited for someone to come help because the only lady actually working was with a customer helping him with what he needed. And just now, giving them the benefit of the doubt one more time, I watched over 7 Lowes workers standing around. Again, no other registers open except for self check out. Customer service in this place is the worse example Ive ever experienced.
The person (Stan) in hardware was very helpful and went the extra mile to find what I was looking for. He and Jon should be commended for working hard to help me. My problem is the stores inability to have things in stock, even when the computer says they do they do not. Not the clerks fault and like I said they were great. The store needs better inventory control.
Plants were in great condition! Store was super organized and clean. Several associates asked me if I needed help with anything both in gardening and hardware. I found everything I was looking for minus the hammock which I didnt expect to find this late in the season. Prices are a touch higher than Home Depot with certain things..I know products are mass produced specifically for these corporations but I feel as though Lowes still outbeats the competition with higher quality service and product.I usually do business with family owned hardware stores. I decided to give Lowes a try after several stores didnt have what I was seeking, one desperate afternoon. They were one of the only stores that, not only knew what Diotamacious Earth was but carried it too... The best stuff to kill fleas and ticks with, indoors or outdoors.Credit card system was down when I was paying so they gave me a written receipt. The associates handled the challenge very well and got all the customers out of there pretty quickly.Customer Service is 6 STARS here!! Keep up the good job all!!!
I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star for it’s terrible customer service and unprofessionalism. My family decided to renovate my entire kitchen with Lowe’s and paid everything in advance. They messed up our cabinet order not once but 3 times on shipment. Delaying installation and our appliance shipment. And when it was time to finally deliver our appliances, they forgot the fridge and made some bs story on why they didn’t deliver it. So done with this company.
Advertise on their website that a freezer is free home delivery, which was why we came to lowes as dont have a vehicle large enough to transport a chest freezer. Apparently they dont honor their website that says free home delivery and want to charge $85 for a 2 mile delivery. According to Lowes staff at Commack a chest freezer is not a major appliance and therefore the website shouldnt be advertising free delivery because they wont do it. If I was buying a coffee machine I would be fine as thats not a major appliance, but a chest freezer? Buyer beware of Lowes unscrupulous practices.
All 3 stars are for the employees who did a great job with a tremendously shorthanded staff.. long line in garden center and only self check-out register open on the inside . The gentleman at the garden register was polite and courteous and was under tremendous stress . Also the guys who help load the mulch in my car were great as well.
I like lowes... better than home depot ... but the commack store is grossly mismanaged. multiple times, i have placed an order for pick-up - and they have screwed it up ... I NOW DRIVE 20 MINUTES FARTHER TO HICKSVILLE LOWES - THEY KNOW HOW TO MAINTAIN AN ACCURATE INVENTORY - commack does not ... hicksville seems to always have more inventory too.
Sometimes better than advertised. Found better prices in store. Albeit in clearance still couldnt beat the price. Most underrated aspect that nobody seems to acknowledge is how clean the store is kept. This makes it easier to find things and get the correct prices of what youre looking for.
If Zero stars were an option, I would have chosen it. Ive been coming to this lowes since it opened, never really had an issues. Recently we gutted my house and purcahsed most things from lowes. We spent over $15,000 at commack Lowes. Customer service cant even be a laughing joke, because theres no customer service whatsoever. Employees are rude, lazy,. 1 small incident was a paid for a platic bag that ripped almost instantly, asked the cashier for another 1, she refused unless I paid the 5 cents again. I will never give another penny to this store. Ill gladly go to home depot down the block And get treated like a customer.
Simply put the Commack store is a complete cluster f--k. I have never seen a worse run operation in my life.I must say that Barry and Tyron in the plumbing section and Michael in the flooring dept were absolutely great to work with. They were not the problem at all.. Clearly the people who work in their customer disservice dept. are absolutely the worst. They are lazy and have no idea what they are doing nor do they appear to care. I wont be working with this store ever again
I have been waiting over ten days to get a washer and dryer. Been calling customer service, transferred, rescheduled three times. TERRIBLE! It was scheduled for two days after I bought it. I been on the phone with lowes customer service and they couldnt tell me anything. This will be the fourth time I will be rescheduled and I still dont have an answer.
I usually like this place because its closer to my home, but the policy about coupon and gift card using that has to be printed out is very annoying and inconvenient to the customers. Plus some stuffs service are no good either, the young manager, I guess. I will go to farmingdale one instead in the future l.
Been coming here a long time. Not a bad store if you don’t need any help. God forbid you need a salesperson forget it. Even to ask a question. I pressed the button for help, walked around. I called the store while I was in there and no one even answers the phone. Home Depot is sooo much better more people to help there.. store was not busy at all when I was there. After 25 mins I gave up such a waste of time
Had an associate in the light department watch me and my wife wander around looking without offering help. After he left we pressed the help button and waited but nobody came. We answered the questions we had through our smart phones and went to check out. 2 self checkout lanes open with one seemingly broken. The one we used was also incredibly buggy and frustrating to use. Place was an absolute ghost town.
Easy to see right off of Commack Road servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff. We will most likely be going back.
Bought tile here in May. Lowes told me they could hold it until my contractor could pick it up after I paid for it. When my contractor is ready to pick up and install the tile 2 months later he goes to Lowes to pick it up and it is not there. One employee calls me to say it is discontinued and another employee tells me it is not discontinued, just out of stock and they will order it to the store and call me when its ready. 2 weeks go by with no call. I call the store and they tell me its back in stock. My contractor gies to pick it up and they cant find my order. I call up the corporate number because bo one at the store is answering and speak to a manager. Finally they find my order. Too much of a hassle for buying tile. Will be sticking with home depot next time. The only reaso . For 2 stars is they do have a good garden department.
I purchased $7,000 of wall to wall rugs. Post purchase they no longer speak with you and you are transferred to an 800 number organization who is uninformed, and uninterested. They lost my order then weeks late began the installation. However they stopped the installation after ripping up the old rugs, house in shambles, making me pay another $150 over the phone to have the work completed because an additional charge was required. I had paid the $7,000 at purchase and not advised of such. The rug seams are showing and I have to deal directly with the installer to get them hopefully repaired. Again, Lowe’s is not a participant as If I purchased the rugs from the manufacturer.I would never use them again.
My go to for home improvement projects and plants. Only issue its hard to find someone one the floor to help. Home depot has twice the amount of customers service people on the floor. Lowes is losing customers because of that. 75% of the time the customers have questions.
Great service and product knowledge in the appliance section. Home Depot blew my mind with handing them a purchase for a product that a Lowe’s employee help me decide on but only went to HD since they had faster delivery date, but omg the level of customer service there. Stick with Lowe’s, HD is disgusting and employees there act as if you owe them favors. Also this place is well lit and has a great product selection where as Home Depot is like a ghost town.
Customer service is the lost art of traditional retail stores. So with that the lady in blinds once again fails with that. Snide attitude and unable to handle just one extra customer is really poor. Ive spent a lot of money in Lowes and this doesnt help for future needs. Im one who prefers brick and mortar stores but if this is the customer service that were gonna get, then the Amazons of the world will surely win. Lowes needs to step up and make sure their employees understand who really pays the bills.
This is a standard Lowes Store. As usual it is well organized and Usually it is easy to find things, especially with the Lowes app. Some items that show in stock on the app may be hard to find, especially if the inventory database has not been updated to reflect actual location. As is usual for a big box hardware store, knowledgeable employees are in short supply. They all are courteous and as helpful as they can be.
Very bad staff. Rude and lack of knowledge of items carried and about products is absurd. Lowes needs better management here. Commack lowes does not have fork lift drivers during the day. They say if you need something down you have to wait till the following day so the nite crew can bring it down. What a joke lowes.
Absolutely the worst experience you can ever imagine. We purchased 30 windows for our home and contracted with Lowe’s to have them installed by one of their subcontractors White Glove. The windows were installed incorrectly which Pella the manufacture verified. It took many phone calls, emails, to finally have them reinstalled. Almost two years later and our home is still not complete because of the delay. Because of the delay in the renovations to the house we lost a considerable amount of money. After months of going back and forth with executive office and promises for compensation, we received nothing. They just kept dragging us along hoping we would go away. I just hope no one ever has to endure what we did and would advise you to shop elsewhere, where there are contractors who know how to do home renovations and not have to watch a YouTube video to install doors and windows. Dont make the same mistake we did, ask for references, make sure the contractor you use is licensed insured and has documentation to prove so.
The worst customer service on feedback on items pending delivery, nice people on the phone & they sound like they truly want to help. But bad feedback of items on order of out stock items. I brought a washer and dryer and the washer was not in stock and they ordered it and know its over a month & I call and stopped in to see what going on and they have no clue. It took over 4 hours to process sale because there was no staff in appliances and manger who is not there and I know from buying at Lowes said he would help me and I waited because he gave a discount on dryer because it was a floor model and he was the only one who could Ok lower price, he is no longer at this Lowes he was transferred to Garden City he was not helpful and I waited for him. Until I found a friend of mine who works in plumbing and he helped me, but it wasnt his department and he wasnt familiar with what to do so we waited for help original manager who he called for never came back there to help us. I still do not have washer or dryer and I just called and they said its in but they will check, had no problem charging me for washer and dryer and I paying interest on something I am not using its about a month know I am waiting. They told me in the beginning someone will call me on status of items and no one has called ever I keep calling or stopping in. I asked several times why the delay and they are not really sure and will check into it and I get no call backs. I am ready to cancel and order and buy washer & dryer from Pc Richards. Sad thing they still have items on floor to sell but none in stock and seems like a long time for next delivery.
Good store... I was just there and basically going on a tool spree! Haha... I have a bunch of projects I need to accomplish since the weather is heating up. Anything I can think of I need, they have... With a small margin for not EXACT. But thats with everything these days... Shop around for the super specialty items. Overall I think I scored big time. Got items for guitar setups and painting... Refinishing my old cracking garage doors, metal railings... Etc... Impact tools, spray paint, airbrush, and on and on... I barely shop here because its dangerous when I go look for tools haha... They feed an addiction pretty well...
Kevin Campbell who is a sales rep for Lowes home services is a slimy liar, a thief, and a coward ( I would use other words but keeping this clean) If you are having Lowes do any work to your home do not allow him in your home. He sold us a window for over $5,000 that is broken and looks reciculous. he is the so call expert and if you could see this window you would question Lowes hiring process. How he has a job outside of a paperboy is beyond me. A five yr old could have done better. He emailed me saying they could and would replace the window ( have emails to prove it!) and that he agreed it looked odd. Once you tell him your not satisfied he cuts off all contact with you, this is where he is a coward. Our window has built in blinds that have been broken since it was installed over 2 months ago. I work odd hours at times and my wife is home alone with our infant son with a window which is in the front of my house that is wide open. He is compromising my families safety and privacy. Any man who has a backbone at all would no cower and avoid phone calls and emails. All I can say is if you do a little research and look up other reviews, that were written long before our install, he has a long history of stealing money from multiple families throughout the area. Im just going to say karma is a funny thing and no good can come to anyone who lies and cheats their way through life. Calling any and all news stations till I get this exposed. Please do the research and look into the reviews. Again these reviews are not me they were written long before our install and Im not a coward, I do not hide behind a keyboard like some people.
I recently made TWO large purchases at lowes in Commack and im highly dissatisfied with their overall customer service. A stove and refrigerator are essential & key to a household and are only purchased every 10 years so its so important to have the assistance of a customer service representative, lowes unfortunately didn’t offer that. I would never go back to Lowe’s or purchase anything form them again. I’m still waiting for a manager to call me and they don’t even pick up the phone when I try calling.
Store is big and beautiful. Too bad no one works there - it is impossible to get anyone to service you unless you ask for a manager no one knows what they are doing. I will never buy anything else in there again that I cannot just pick off a shelf myself. Forget trying to buy an appliance. Worse service ever which is why I took the time to write this.
A very good hardware store. A do-it-yourselfers dream. Since Commack is blessed with 2 home Depots and a Lowes, I will compare the two retailers. Lowes is neater, cleaner, more organized and better lit than the Home Depot. It has a significantly better selection of most things than HD. More tools, more and better lighting fixture selection, more home decorating, etc. Even with Home Depots of larkfields expansion a few years back, Lowes still has more. HD by comparison seems a little. worn down. Overall, Lowes is a better store than HD. BUT, there are two significant areas that Lowes lacks and home depot is better at. First, Lowes has barely any employees around. I was there on Sunday 5:30pm, a busy shopping time since its a weekend. And there was only 1 cashier! I waited 10 minutes in the hardware eisle looking for screws until a hardware sales guy showed up. All you hear on the loudspeakers is help is needed in the... eisle. Over and over. There was no salesperson at the paint desk. Seems they are skimping on sales staff. Not good. By comparison, HD on Jericho has a dedicated hardware eisle sales person and a paint desk salesperson. They are almost always there. In HD there are tons of employees milling about, asking if you need help. Thats customer service. The second thing, is the checkout experience, of course negatively impacted by there being only 1 cashier. But the self-checkout registers are outdated and there is only a few of them. They still make you put your items on the scale. By contrast, home depot recently revamped the self-checkout machines. All of the registers at HD are self-checkout, easier to operate, the scanners work better and there are at least 3 cashiers even at 10pm on a weekday..9pm
I went to the paint department to purchase Restore 10x for my deck a salesman from the hardware department helped me to the best of his ability while the salesman from the paint department Mr Atilay helped another customer he informed Mr Atilay that I needed assistance as I waited patiently another couple came up that needed assistance as he finished with the first couple he acted like I wasnt even there 10-15 minutes and began to assist the couple that came after me . I then asked am I standing here in need of assistance for 10-15 minutes because Id like to watch other people the young man from the hardware department informed you that I needed assistance and again was ignored as the man looked at me and Mr Atilay expecting Mr Atilay to respond and help me which he did not. The store was due to close soon so there wasnt many people there. I have been a faithful customer and shop often between many locations and have never witnessed such behavior by any sales person. To totally be ignored by someone for that length of time is disgraceful if it wasnt 9:50 pm I would have went down the street to Home Depot. I will never buy any paint products from this store any time soon or as long as Mr Atilay is there I hope he soon learns true customer service I am posting his name in hopes of improvement for this store and its customers.
Ordered online. Delivery time was between 7am and 9pm. Looked online to track order. It was saying it was delivered, it wasnt. Called put on hold for 35 minutes. Told it would be delivered between 2 and 6. I live 20 minutes away. Spent 800 dollars. Never will order online or get something delivered again. Should have went to home Depot. Ordered fencing so I couldnt pick it up. Directions stated to place on side of garage. Drive knocked on the door and told my wife to move the car so he can put it in front of the garage.
I ordered a stove at the Commack store and ask to get it delivered and install in my home.. As soon as the two delivery men arrived they ask for me to sign for delivery without bringing in the item I was caught off guard at the moment and went right ahead and signed.. the stove did not fit through my door and the men were unprepared so I provided the tools necessary for them to remove the door so that the item can fit.. once the stove was inside they mention they were getting something from their car to start installation I waited about 5 mins for them to return when I noticed that they just left without installing the stove or putting my door back in place.. to top this horrible experience off the stove was damaged with a huge dent and chipped on the corners I tried contacting Commack store and they just ignored my call for 45 mins they would pick up and place me on hold and repeat this numerous times without even saying anything.. I am not happy with the customer service and I am requesting a full refund.. Never Again!!
The depictions of deserted big box home improvement stores on TV are accurate. This is a beautiful store; they really should hire some people to work there. I could not find a soul to help me in the tool department here. I asked a cashier to page someone for me, but no one ever came. After 15 minutes of fruitless searching for what I needed, I left. Very disappointing.
I wish I could give negative stars to this store & its customer service we ordered a stove & were promised parts that it comes with & then when we received the order it had a missing attachment I called the store & Samsung I was advised that they will order a replacement & which they did but a wrong part came I called them to tell and the manager DAN who took my order gave me attitude and said to call Samsung when I called them they stated clearly that the store lied and the WOK attachment doesnt come with the stove. I called him back & he said there is nothing he can do about it & said I can return the stove because that is the only choice I have . NEVER EVER GOING TO LOWES AGAIN & WILL COMPLAIN BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ABOUT THEIR LIES
Friendly staff if you need help. Recently stopped in to look for ceramic tile for my basement. Found what we wanted, but they didnt carry enough boxes of it. And others Lowes stores didnt have it.For me, Ill go to pick up things that I dont need in large quantities. For bulk, its hit or miss.
My wife and her family hired lowes to do their roof and that was the worst experience both of her parents have high blood pressure and I cant believe the treatment they received! This isnt a door or fence being installed this is the roof! 12,000.00 dollars! How can a billion dollar company do this to someones house? The sales person use deceptive tactics please google lowes deceptive tactics theres an article on abc news! And there was a few other lawsuits against this company! They lied about the one year warranty and were using the materials as warranty! They take advantage of people! We requested photos thats they took bas d on our request so a new contractor may see .... They denied that request! They withheld labor warranty and only only provided material warranty! I never knew this until I showed documents to an attorney! I have two cases! I will create a petition! Please beware of the installation team they steal money from you!
Next time you don’t have an item in stock for pick up, don’t waste my time and throw an item that’s not it, to sign me out to then send me to the return line, to get the right item to exchange to just find the item sold out, to then wait in line again to get me refund. Thanks for the waste of time.
Website said they had what I wanted in stock, shelf was empty after finally finding where what I wanted would have been, also waited for help with a BBQ and several employees walked right by after asking customer service for help and them calling for it over the loud speaker...
Been trying to get a screen door and installed.Promised a call in 48 hours.Paid the $35 .Installerfinally called and came one month later after calls to Lowes. They gave him some spurious phone number and he had been calling, neithermy landline nor cell. Now they cant do the door I want.I have been calling the millwork desk for3 days..been on hold I cant even guess how many hours total.the final straw is after waiting over 20 minutes and 6 pagings today, they hung up on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I give this store in Commack a very poor rating because I tried calling the store to speak to certain departments they werent available they didnt answer there is no communicating to this store therefore.. I will never shop in Commack store again. The Bayshore store is a lot better to deal with at least they answer the phone and theyre willing to help you out
Bought a Washing machine from this lowes on 3/8/15. I had it delivered the following Thursday. The first load of laundry the washing machine broke. I go back to lowes that night so that I can get a new one. I find one and place the order for it to be delivered. Everything was good. The washing machine was in stock at the Bayshore and StonyBrook store. On Friday 3/13... Stonybrook left me a message. I call back and they tell me my order has been cancelled??? I call back the commack store where I bought it and they tell me that both the washing machines were damaged. So now I am without a Washing machine and lowes charged me for Both the Broken one and the one I never received when they told me I would not be charged until they delivered the new one and not refunded for the 1st one until it was picked up. Now My account is charged over $1100 and I have nothing!! This was the Worst experience I have ever had and Since the Experience involved not 1 but 3 lowes stores I will never go back for Anything!
Cant talk to anyone on the phone. automated system hangs up on you as soon as you hit the selection for speak to a person, when you try to connect via a department the phone just rings and rings...no matter what department you try, or the person who answers cant answer your questions so they try to get someone on the phone who can...but instead they just hang up on you or put you on hold until you have no choice but to hang up because its been so long.
Major complaint!! All stores should have the people from commack...commack employees are ALWAYS helpful, courteous, friendly...etc..I dont understand why I have to travel 20 miles from home to such a wonderful experience when there are 4 stores within 10 miles of my home....Lowes Commack is the ONLY lowes on long Island as far as Im concerned...BRAVO team leaders and Kathy in the door department..

2022-05-22The customer service workers at the Lowes commack location are extremely helpful. The young ladies named Melissa and Yancy have been nothing but helpful. I was picking up an online order and the room was busy so I asked the associate Yancy if she could get my order and she had no problem with it and Melissa rang me up for some items I wanted to buy. I didn’t have to wait for very long and got out just in time for work!

2022-06-30Turns out they seem to be more organized than Home Depot and a knowledgeable bunch of people working there a lot more so than Home Depot

2022-03-01Didnt realize curbside pickup started at 9am. I showed up at the store at 6:45am. Website doesnt make mention of when curbside starts. Thankfully the guysdidnt turn me way and they loaded my car in less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. Definitely would recommend!

2021-12-09We need it help choosing a security system for our house and the rep. Cant recall his name took the time to help us, he answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the topic. It was a good experience in comparison to the service you sometimes receive at these large stores.
