Terrible. Horrible experience with kitchen cabinets where I had to email corporate. We ordered cabinets in March which were delivered in April which were the WRONG CABINETS. Told we would have wait 8-10 MORE WEEKS to get the right ones. We were given a pittance of a discount to keep these. Cabinets were installed (installers were great). Ordered custom countertops to go with cabinets, got a robo text the day of the purchase then nothing after that. Ordered the countertops a week before receiving the wrong cabinets, went through that fiasco, then calling the store to find out whats going on with our countertops no response from store staff for OVER A WEEK. Finally told 4 days after cabinets installed that the countertop fabricator went out of business and we could pick out a different countertop with lead time of 3 MORE WEEKS!! At this point I have no working sink in the kitchen, no stove hooked up or dishwasher, washing dishes in my bathroom sink and youre telling me I have to wait OVER A MONTH to have my kitchen finished??? Oh, and by the way these projects totalling over $10k had to be paid in full up front because thats how Lowes does it and Im paying interest on merchandise I havent received and services that havent been performed??? I wrote to the CEO and I get responded by a corporate customer service rep, the store NEVER responded to multiple calls... just an overall terrible experience. I would think twice before using Lowes for kitchen remodel, especially not the Riverhead, NY location. I could go on and on but believe me I left A LOT more stuff out...
Had everything I was looking for even something I didnt think they would carry: So big kudos for saving me an additional trip to another store. I had the pleasure of meeting Allen tonight. He does the cart returns and helps people load heavier things into their vehicles. Allen and I were chewing the fat while someone else was ringing me up. I didnt know what Allen did at that point and assumes he was upfront just getting ready to close. He walked with me outside and explained he loved keeping the parking lot clean and takes pride in making sure all the carts are away so they arent hazardous to vehicles and people. I loaded my vehicle up and he said he hoped my experience was Great or pleasant and he hoped I would continue to shop here. Allen clearly loves his Job and he put a huge smile on my face. Customer service done Right. I would imagine based on my quick encounter with him he treats every customer this way. I know this is a lowes review but I really cant remember the last time I had such a pleasant interaction like this one. As a matter of fact I had almost the completed opposite experience a couple of weeks ago at this same lowes in the garden center and almost went to home depot tonight instead.
I went to lowes after not finding product at HD since their website said it was in stock (floor police mop) I searched the cleaning section for 10 minutes, about to leave the parking lot and I call, yeah we have it in the as seen on tv area, doesnt tell me in any plain language where that is, I found it anyway, not there, go to customer service, she tells me its there, we both go, not there, 3 isles away in an isle with robotic vacuums and floor cleaning machines...why they wouldnt stock a mop in the mop isle... just the regular bs 4 me
No one is ever in Kitchens. No one answers the phone or responds to messages. Walter never got back to me no matter how many times I tried to contact him to order something from a project last year. Manager Carlos guaranteed me he would after he took my information. Shocker....Walter never did and Carlos never followed up. They all act nice but do nothing. Avoid this place for projects that messed up my project so many times I lost count, a complete and utter nightmare dealing with this store.
I am a regular at this location. I have to give this team praise, I usually come in the early mornings before 8am. Where are you going to find such cheery people at this time of morning. I usually see the same workers and they have great attitudes and always offer help. I feel like Home Depot customer service is spiraling downward so cheers to you Lowe’s !!
Lowes is lowes every where but the people who work here at this Lowes are very nice and pleasant. Not that the others were not nice but them being nice stood out to me and my husband as we were leaving. Every staff we had the pleasure of talking to was so nice. And we bothered about 3 staff and we spoke the the cashier.
They had reasonably priced 1 lb propane tanks for my Buddy Heater and I was able to order them online for same day pickup. Ashley consolidated and had them all ready for me, plus kindly directed me to another aisle for an item I had forgotten to order. All in all, quick and relatively pain-free.
Went there today to purchase a Pit Boss smoker. Got home and had the whole thing assembled and noticed the whole side is dented. Called up, spoke to Ashley and explained that I didn’t want to return it I was happy to keep it but would like a credit. Got a credit! Thank you Lowe’s for the amazing customer service and thank you Ashley for working with me. 😁😁
Supposedly this location is under a new manager who is big on customer service. Well...good luck finding someone to help you. I saw two employees strolling along and chatting. And as usual, they ducked into an aisle when they saw me. Another guy was hiding behind the kitchen displays and on his phone. The guy from lighting finally helped, but I didnt need lighting. It is what it is. I am returning the items I purchased and Im going to HD.
Terrible customer service manager. I purchased a gas leaf blower and a 2 year replacement plan. I was told when I bought the plan that if the blower broke, I could bring it back and get a replacement. Well it broke. So I brought it back. They told me that I had to take it to Sears to get it fixed. I said what about the replacement plan. They said thats for after the manufacturer warranty runs out. Thats not what I was told. The manager pointed to the phone number for Sears and said that there was nothing they could do. I then went to the Medford store. They replaced it. The manager there said Thats why they call it a replacement plan. Went back to the first store and showed them. The manager said that she knows what the policy is and said to have a nice day in a very nasty tone. I wont repeat what I said to her.
Lowes is great! However my phone is asking me now about my experience and my current experience was being broken down outside of Lowes. I wouldve much rather been shopping for smart lights and lumber rather than waiting for a tow. But once I get my car back, I will be back buying smart lights and lumber. 5☆
Lowes is my preferred home improvement store but i have been disappointed by the frequent unavailability of staff on the floor. Last visit I got two associates to find a plumbing associate for me. They did give a call for help TWICE but no help arrived after 20 mins. I pressed an associate from a different dept to help. Only to learn that Lowes only offered a bathroom three of the manufacturers ten colors AND they offered a two month delivery in the item which I subsequently learned is in stock with the manufacturer.
Horrible experience in the flooring department. I ordered carpeting and they came to the house to measure and was to call us in a day or two which never happened. I went to the store to follow up on my order. I waited an hour for the employee to find my order. They found it, placed the order and I paid for it. I never heard back from them. I returned to the store a couple of weeks later only to find out that it was out of stock and needed to be ordered from the vendor and no one notified me. The second time back to the store after no follow up, I spent another hour and was told that it came to the store but they could not physically find it. They then told me they had to reorder it. Furious at the lack of communication and poor customer service, I decided to get my money back and go to a local flooring and carpet store which I now know was the best choice. Do not order flooring or carpeting from Lowes. I will only use Lowes now for small and basic things. Stay away from this store if you want to make a large purchase.When I complained to the manager about the associate in the carpeting department that obviously did not know what they were doing, she did nothing about it.
Good price and selection on tools for projects around the house or garden. They have a decent selection of plants for the garden, and if they are out of something one week, they just might have it the next. I made a quick trip here a few weeks back to pick up some more soil for my garden. Beforehand, I went to see what plants they had, and I found a Sweet Berry strawberry plant that had dark red flowers. This isnt something you see every day, as most strawberry plants have white flowers. They also had a really good price on blueberry bushes right around the same time.
My wife for xmas surprise me with a snowblower !went to lows an purchased an already put together #Ariens path pro item (DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE )!!!!!!!Back to my story we have not have any snow until 2/01/2021 so went to use the machine and realize parts were missing ! NO BIG DEAL figure go back to Lowes and get new one.Was help by two managers Erica and Billy two of the nicer people to want to deal with, went on to worked for me as a costumer against the factory after they WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY !!! and were going to charge me for parts and repairs !!thanks to their fight for me they gave me a full refund .I will continued to shop at Lowes thanks to them, BUT NEVER EVER WILL BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM #ARIENS !!!!!!job well done Erica and Billy you got my respect.thanks
Need more staff. Never enough people around to help. They lost a multi $1,000 appliance sale to me because I couldnt get anyones attention. That inspires no confidence. I went to Best Buy and was immediately helped by their staff, who answered every question and spent nearly the entire day with me. Thats how you treat your customers.
If I could give them a negative rating I would I’ve waited now 5 days to hear back from pro services to set up an installation of my shed and never received a call and when you call the store no one answers then when I did get someone I asked for the general manager and was on hold for 20 mins when they decided to hang up not saying a word. They’re “corporate” number is a joke then to find out after making my order online and giving me a delivery date and confirmation they never processed my order. They are not the home improvement store!
I know it’s a Pandemic and Lowe’s folks are trying hard. Just a warning. Do not order curbside pickup. There is no window provided for your order being completed. Lowe’s as a corporation has stopped answering their customer service phone line. This store also does not answer calls. There is absolutely no way to check on the order status or to make changes to a curbside order. Buyer beware.
I was looking for a vehicle tire compressor and one of the employees very politely asked me if I needed any help with something so I said no but thank you for asking though. Lol and was asked if I was done with everything so I said yeah and he brought me up to the register and I was on my way out. I felt that these guys are really doing a fantastic job on providing the greatest customer service ever, and wouldnt mind to come back shop at this place again. They really have the greatest attitude and they are proud to serve customers everyday.
Worst Lowe’s around. The staff is friendly and willing to help but there’s simply not enough of them. It seems the store is always running with a skeleton crew. I live practically across the street and I’d much rather take a 15 min drive to Home Depot. And the self checkout kiosks are useless.
Went to Lowes to buy a shed. We were directed to a few areas of the store to make the purchase. Leroy (who is so friendly and helpful) attempted to help us even though it was not his department. He was unable to navigate through the software to complete the purchase. He apologized profusely and offered us other options. We thanked him and shopped for some other items in the store. We were so surprised when Leroy came and found us at the far end of the store. He said that he had found another associate who could help us with our purchase. We were impressed that Leroy took the time to find someone who could help and then located us as well. To top it off we had the pleasure of working with Amanda. She really knew her stuff. She explained all of our options clearly and concisely. She had a positive attitude and made the transaction fun.It was clear to us that both Leroy and Amanda make customer service a priority.Lowes in East Patchogue is lucky to employ these two!
I was very disappointed with the service I received when I tried to make a return to this Lowes store location. I had the distinct feeling that I was unwelcome and my presence was unappreciated. The return manager actually told me that she couldn’t help me and told me that I should try to return my online purchased items to a different Lowes store location. Really...she said that to me. Next time I’ll shop at Home Depot where returns aren’t such a hassle.
Worst service ever..My husband and I went into Lowes on 4/27/19 paid for a fence and delivery.The delivery was supposed to be Friday May 3rd, on Wednesday the store called us to inform us the the delivery could not arrive on Thursday, I told the young lady we were supposed to get delivery on Friday..on Thursday evening I get a call from delivery company tell me details of delivery for Friday between 12 and 4..later Friday morning I get another call from Lowes tell me my order was not complete that the salesperson did not secure my order but that she would get the missing parts of my order from another store and delivery will out Saturday morning..I was a bit upset so I called the store and spoke to a manager he apologized and told me he will look into my order and promise to call me back..Within 20 minutes I get a call from delivery company confirming delivery again on Friday so I changed my plans once again this time the schedule time was 3 to 7..When 730 came I called the delivery company and was told my order was not put in the truck by Lowes.Someone isnt doing their job.Now mind you we have a few guys coming tomorrow morning to put up fencing that we dont have yet. .Note to Lowes, your staff were great easy going and the price was on point but did not secure my order ..so at the end of the day Im not a happy customer..My blood pressure has gone up with all this flip flopping with dates.So beware if you place order and pay for delivery ( $85.00 )You may Not get it when promised....
This Lowes is like my second home, with all the projects and stuff that needs to get done I wind up there at least once a week if not more. The staff at this particular location are always friendly and for the most part very knowledgeable about where products are. I do visit other Lowes locations as I need to however they dont seem to be able to stack up to this one
Waste an hour and half waiting for someone to get some information regarding a shed. Since I really like this shed and home Depot didnt have it in stock had no choice to go to Lowes. Finally, another worker and he helped me find the right person.Poor customer service.Then I had to call back to the store to see if the manufacturer had th shed they did. I paid over the phone the person said he will email the receipt never did. I check 3 times. People just dont care to do there job. I tell you if Amazon had the shed I would definitely purchase it on Amazon.Thats why all these businesses is closing.1. Poor customer service2. People have attitude and dont want to work.3. The stores dont carry what youre not looking for.4. Some of the younger generation is lazy and dont want to work.5. People from other countries such as Chinese, Indian and Spanish decent is taking over the jobs.6. Dont get mad because some of the Americans dont want to work and get catered too.Sad the way United States is changing because the younger generation is killing us. In fact, I blamed the parents some giving your children the stupid x box with all those shooting games.May God bless this country and hope it change.
Very large loews the prices are decent. I got rugs installed by their contractors. They did an overall decent job. There was a problem with the rug placed in the stairway. When walking barefoot we actually felt the tack strip on our feet. They didnt punch but you actually felt the tracks. Called Loews and the contractor returned and corrected the problem. I had a better result with Lowes than I did when I dealt with the home depot. I also got custom bathroom vanity with custom top. I was very pleased with the quality. I installed it myself and it looks really good. The prices were fair and staff is friendly and helpful.
I bought a house last year in the village and although I can practically walk to Home Depot, I go out of my way to shop at Lowes. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile; even for a millennial armed with nothing more than DIY videos and perseverance. Because of awesome personnel like Max in plumbing (now electrical), I was able to complete two major renovations with ease. The store is always clean, parking is plentiful, and you dont get as many of the gruff contractor types bulldozing you for sheets of insulation. A+
I usually like going to Lowe’s better than Home Depot because there is always carts inside ready to go in the aisles and I don’t have to hunt the parking lot looking for one, the store is also pretty much the same as any other Lowe’s however I had a bad experience with a staff member, I would recommend Lowe’s just not this specific locations.
I ordered thid item online so that I could utilize online pick-up. It took 7 hours to fulfil and when I got there I tried for 5 minutes to reach pickup by phone. No one answered. I went inside to pick-up but there was a line 10 people long not social distancing so I left. I have to make another trip to the store to try curbsides again
I asked an employee the moment I walked in where zip ties were, I was told aisle 4 as he confirmed with another employee that he gave the right answer. I found cable ties in I think aisle 12. I then went to the registers, the first self pay was card only, I asked the cashier at the end, where I could pay in cash, she said either machine, I pointed out one said card only, she said I could use the other one, as soon as I swiped my purchase she took the man that walked up behind me, and I had to wait for her to help him before she could help me with machine. It spit the money I put in on the floor and I didnt notice, she then took another customer who blocked me in with his long wood. If she had helped me in the first place I would have been out in less than a minute. Very poor customer service.
The gent who took care of us was extremely helpful. They didnt have the door I wanted in a right hand swing. He recalled that months ago someone had pulled the wrong door for an order. He searched the back and found it for us. They are phasing out this style so I was very pleased to have it . The extra effort he made was fantastic. I regret not getting his name.
We recently had the opportunity to work with Gilda from the Patchogue store. We cannot state enough what a pleasure she was, after sitting on hold for 2+ hours and being shifted from one department to another. This woman and her team straightened out an order and arranged to have two items delivered at the same time. She took the time to listen to our situation and then proceeded to find a solution. We highly recommend the Patchogue, NY Lowes.....
My experience in the lighting department with an associate by the name of Lenny was far greater than I expected he was kind knowledgeable and he helped me thoroughly. I believe you should be rewarded for the quality of his work and because of him I will come back to the East Patchogue Lowe’s
Self check out is the most frustrating joke. It never goes smoothly. The poor single sales associate standing at the front has to run from register to register to fix things since each system demands you put things in the bagging area. What happens if you have something large that doesn’t fit? You’re stuck until the sales associate is available which happens most of the time. Since they are trying to cut costs and are understaffed, I shop elsewhere. It’s too annoying to deal with this location.
Average...I couldnt find a T-Valve rebuild kit or any of the valve components (valve seats, valve stems, pressure washers, etc.).One would have to purchase a whole New Valve assembly to install, not happy with this option.Just as well, most new valves can not interchange with any old components either.
I avoid it at costs. They are always a bit higher priced then other stores and the registers and staff are very poor. Long lines, untrained staff confused on how thing work. Not enough registers open, and watched ppl drop items on the floor and just walk out. Staff didnt care.
There are many Pros and Cons about this particular Lowe’s but I’m going to have to start off by saying what I hear many coustomers including myself complain about.End of spring to beginning of summer and a couple of weeks in the month of nov and Dec there’s a good amount of employees that will help you. Otherwise, it is a challenge to find an expert in the Isles about your particular project/what you are looking for. Since there’s not enough employees , they probably get asked a ton of questions not related to there knowledge/skill putting some of them in a rotten mood. In my opinion , going into the store very often and seeing how things are going down ,I would recommend a few more Employees and have at least another REGISTER open with a real Person
It is the worse store Ive ever shopped in. Horrible service if you get any I was even returning a socket set that had a missing piece and the costmer service instantly had a smile on her face and blatantly accused me for stealing it and would not take it back until later after yelling going back and forth she finally realized that it had must have fallen off because there are more like it hanging on the rack these are just two examples of how horrific the store is its so bad I just wish it would close down.
I ordered kerosene online to pick up ....now Lindsey brought the can out and placed it on the floor. I had my cart sitting in front of the can 2 men walked over it and once Lindsey concluded the transaction she made no attempt to help me put it in the cart or put it in herself.....now she brought it out. I want to say Brianna is an exceptional employee. She wasnt even helping me ...she was helping someone else but after standing there for 5 mins she grabbed it and asked if I needed help. Good help is hard to find. Brianna you are a gem. Thank you. If I return it will be because of her.
The Patchogue store main checkout is horrible. Also Lowes needs to change their website to resemble home Depot. On the depot site it will tell you exactly where a product is located. Lowes will only tell you if its in stock. Too much time wandering around looking for some items.
I went to the medford store 3 times in one day and couldnt place an order because there is not enough people working and the ones that are there are very professional ignoring costumers it is discussing to see that type of atitud in the store its like worse than telling you what the f are you doing here you are not well come when you are going to spend you money there. Wish that space would Close soon.
A change in return policy plus a change in plumbing vendor has resulted in numerous trips to the store, 3 confused Ashleys, and $148 faucet I cannot return. I am back today and Shannon is the most helpful asm we have spoken to since return trip #1. The manager has retired. I will be asking for Shannon if I ever buy anything here again.
Services were not the greatest, I went in to make key copies and they ONLY have a Machine and you have to have proper change otherwise you cant make them yourself plus no access to change...One more thing I got to add is their keys are over expensive: WHAT if YOU DONT make THE proper copy?? YOU would have to go back and get your $$$ back or otherwise get a staff TO help out. NOT Good..I. DONT Recommend.😞
Spend 7k on Therma tru door and lock mechanism broken and door has been tampered with, suspect it was returned and resold to me. In addition contacted them about defective glass in a Pella window about two weeks ago. Still havent heard from them. Aggravated and no resolve as of yet.
Lows vs Home DepotHome Depot is 5 minutes drive while Lowes in Patchogue, so, naturally, I only used Home Depot, until I start noticing there is different. Here are two examples:Example I: There was a serious ant offensive in the house, which required a serious fight. Went to Home Depot, bought EVERYTHING they had against ants - with no success. Went then to Lowes, also bought everything they had, and now ants gone... Its 3 years now, they didnt come back.... I dont know what was it, but it was strong...Example II: needed several carpets, looked in both stores, and picked the Lowes ones.Have many more examples, but I think the point is clear:while Home Depot is OK, Lowes is GOOD.I still mostly go to Home Depot, but usually when a higher-quality something required, its somehow ends in Lowes
Customer service is NOT in this stores vocabulary..... very few staff members on the floor to help customers, and only 2 registers are open, usually the self check out..... when i do find staff.... there usually with several other staff members talking about something NOT work related. When in the electrical section ( i am an Electrician) and i ask for something specific, sometimes i am told by the non electrically informed member working there, that I do not know what i am talking about.
I have always been more of a Home Depot kind of guy maybe Im partial to it because my wife works there but anytime you need something at Home Depot there is no employee to be found I went to Lowes today I was greeted by numerous employees and I was looking for something and three employees came and helped me find what I was looking for hands down the customer service at Lowes surpasses Home Depot I will be returning

2022-05-03It sucked. Looking for some help in the plumbing dept. No one came. This place is going down the tube. And they blame it on that no one wants to work and cant get help. I went to Home Depot and I had what I needed from plumbing in about 5 minutes. Help came rite away. I was pleased with their service

2022-06-28Honestly besides the great help the employees were & the wonderful atmosphere inside the store, I was disappointed that you guys didnt have the particular piece that I was looking for (5/16th x 1-3/4 Concrete Anchor). However every other piece was available. I dont think its an inventory error setting that everything else was available, maybe your store just doesnt carry it but the item was operation specific so Im not going to complain, but I did have to go to another Lowes to get the piece I was looking for.

2022-05-31Better organized than Home Depot. Ended up coming here for my sprinkler Tee fitting as well as tubing. Home Depot was a mess while Lowes has everything organized in its own section.

2022-04-15Lidls are weird places. This is a nicer one but its merchandise is random like crazy. Interesting place to walk around but wouldnt want to rely on anything being there two times in a row

2021-12-04The staff here at Lowes were very nice and made it very easy for me to find everything I needed. And when one person couldnt answer my question another person came right over to help. They worked well as a team. That was great to see. Also this Lowes is very neat I appreciated that. Would recommend that anyone come to this Lowes

2022-03-15What happened to me at Lowes East Patchogue is what customer service IS ALL ABOUT! I need to spotlight Alex Pardos attitude, the BEST around. He didnt think it was extraordinary to give me extraordinary service finding out the status of my shipment. Others were helpful on the phone but they werent able to resolve anything, and when I told Alex Im not sure my item is even in the store to be shipped, he offered to go to the loading dock and check in person. No big deal? Its a VERY big deal. Not a question of how hard it was, or how creative - frankly, not very - the real qeustion is how much difference it made to a customer! Attention Alexs managers George, Tim, Matt and Anthony: give him a high five for me - and let him teach a class in real sevice. At least give him a raise!! Thanks Alex Pardo and thank you Lowes.

2022-05-20I was in the area and stopped in to check out some plants for the yard. They have a large selection of plants and picked up a few for an improvement for the backyard.
