Awesome employees! Eugene was very helpful. I did an online order and it was ready within 15 minutes of placing the order. I picked it up from the locker. I was done! But of course I needed something else and thats when I met Eugene. Very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
This location will fail at filling online orders accurately, dont bother using the service. 60% of my orders are damaged or the wrong product. If you need customer service, dont even bother with the counter help, just ask for a manager. Annette, a cs representative is snotty, dismissive, and has no desire to help patrons solve their problems. Ask for a manager, you will get help.Home Depot is around the corner, or go to Lowes Commack, but this one is just a waste of time.
I was there to return extra materials I had and I asked cashier at the returns desk to get my refund in cash she said they don’t have enough cash in the register which don’t make any sense for billion dollar company to have no cash so then I asked her to return it to my debit card as debit so fund will be available in minutes. Then she hands me receipt and told me it’s credited back to my card which funds will be available in 5 business days. Also spoke to the manager and all he had to say was sorry there’s nothing I can do at this point and nobody else wanted solve the mistake they have made.
We decided to go into Lowes to pick up some odds and ins. This Lowes was very organized and neat. The customer service was great. They do price match here to various competitors. We purchase an item and looked online and found it cheaper at another store and they honored the cheaper price with no hesitation. We usually shop at home depot, we will frequent Lowes more often as well.
Purchased shower doors online for pickup. They arrived a couple days early, got notified to pick up. No line at customer service. Waited 55 minutes to get the order. Totally unorganized. Plenty of employees,no service. Home Depot far superior. Where is the option for zero stars?
It was a very informative experience. I initially went to return a light fixture that I never opened but decided I wanted something different. I bought in October, cash. I couldnt find my receipt. The customer service Lady was very curt and said without a receipt they will not take back. 😔So I put in my car but went back in because I have a huge project and despite the unfortunate refusal to take back an unused unopened item, I do like a lot of things.And so I met Regina in blinds she was super helpful. We discussed not only blinds but area rugs and kitchen installations. I signed up for a Lady to come to my home and take measurements because I want things done right and Regina restored my confidence in Lowes.
We never really shopped here until recently during our major home renovation. We are pleasantly surprised at the Quality and prices they provide here. Also the actual employees are very knowledgeable and helpful in their perspective fields. This has and will be moving forward our new home improvement location to shop. Weve had many the nights where weve closed the store down at 10 p.m.:-)
Its a Lowes. What else is there to say. It is well kept and clean. Friendly staff. Can be hard to find help depending on what your looking for. Home Depot can have a better selection. I still prefer Lowes over Home Dept. UPDATE 4/16/22: First time back in a while. They had no registers open except self service. Staff shortage? Other than that, the same
Please, train your employees better far better before placing them on a cashier before they feel empowered to take wrong decisions. Your guy from returns lie to me when saying all returns go back to the credit card purchased even I told I want to buy other item in the store with that money He simply lie!1) its terrible to tell a lie2) employee not even well trained! I had to call on my way back home to talked to a manager as I gelt so frustrated. Manager said it could be converted so I could buy item using this money.What am I going to tell the person who gave me the wrong gift. Give me money?Simple frustration from all aspects!
Lowes always goes above and beyond to help there customers. Fantastic quality products and staff. Store is always clean and organized. They recognize Veterans with a %off if they register and provide special parking for them. Bathrooms are clean and well Stocked. If you need to return anything customer service will do their best to help you. Plants are healthy and fresh. A+ in my book
The absolute worse customer service. She needs 2 pay attention 2 detail, N pay attention 2 1 customer at a time. Something that should have taken less than 5 minutes took 25.. Then she gives me an attitude Smfh. I wont be back. Ill be paying off my Lowes charge and will stick 2 Home Depot!!!
Worst service ever. I actually waited 30 minutes before I left the store without getting any “help” or service. Pressed the “Need help” button countless times, went to customer service where the woman seemed less than pleased to have to help me, and waited and looked for someone to help me in hardware for literally 30 minutes because I kept looking at my phone to see how long it had been. Not sure why no one could help me or the other gentleman who was also waiting in the same aisle as me, but it was NOT busy in the store and there were other employees who said they couldn’t help because it’s not their department, which I understand but they couldn’t find anyone who was supposed to be working that department either. What a shame I wasted my entire lunch break from work waiting for someone to help me that never came. Guess I will no longer get anything for the company I manage at Lowe’s anymore…
My fiancé and I purchased blinds for our new home from the Farmingdale Lowes, and are very thankful for the professional and expert customer service we received from Allison. Thank you Allison from the Home Décor department for all of your assistance throughout the process of purchasing and setting up the install of our custom blinds. The effort, care and expert knowledge you put forth to help us in our selections is truly appreciated!
Make a left at the first traffic signal after the railroad trestle when heading north on RT 110. There is no signage on RT 110. Once you find it, it is a fantastic place. The associates were very helpful. One did say, Not my department then quickly added, Let me go get someone to help you. and they did, quickly. They have a very large assortment of appliances and other home improvement items on display. It makes shopping for them a pleasure instead of a pain. Prices on national brands are pretty much the same all over, but Lowes carries some great bargains as well. I highly recommend this Loews.
Staff was clueless. I was asking about a certain nut I needed and the gentleman keep looking for and showing me bolts. Staff is nasty and disrespectful, I am curently on crutches and they forced me to move out of the way for yhem to walk buy. Hate going there anymore.
Never order from home depot. I had to pay a worker for 4 hours waiting for home depot delivery. I went into levittown store and was yelling. They said theyre time frame is 12 hours. But when I left the store, my sheet rock came in 15 minutes. I will never order special delivery from home depot. I ordered from lowes tiles. Their time frame is 8am to 12 PM (4hours). They delivered it by 10AM. Thank you Lowes
Lowes is so much better than HD. They care about their handicapped customers, unlike their competitor. They always keep their scooters in top notch shape. Thats very important to me, and it keeps me coming back. Store is always neat and well stocked. Kudos to you Lowes.
I was talking to a young lady about ordering blinds, a guy interrupted us asking for a department, ok now back to my order. Another man asks where are the roller blinds she walks away and helps him. I went over just looked at her she said oh Im so sorry. I said you take care of him and walked away..back to home depot for me
Great products selection. The store is every clean, orderly, and well stocked. Their employees are exceptional, very kind, hospitable and knowledgeable. They all go out of their way to ensure that we got what we wanted easily. I especially liked the new hand-held scanners in the self checkout lanes. Strongly recommend!!
I recommend to not trust a manager by the name of Kenny, very very shady, he has people working for him at the very brim, I heard from one of the associates that they are not able to leave the store until they have 0 orders done by the end of the night. It is very saddening to think a manager of this caliber is mistreating his employees to that which remains the question does the actual store manager know anything about this problem?
Went to the store to return six six foot wood posts in exchange for six eight foot wood posts and received no help or assistance from the employees. Im a woman that is 5 foot 1 and of petite build (not that that should make a difference) and another customer, who was a male was kind enough to assist me after struggling. Not one employee offered me any assistance. The customer service is disgusting.
After my experience today, I will never return to Lowes. I ordered a couple of things online, I was emailed the products were ready. I went inside and waited on the short line for online pick up. The cashier took my order number and decided to answer the phone and payed attention to the call than me. I can understand first come first serve, I was first. She took her time with the call. I finally said cancel my order and I proceeded towards the exit. I asked a worker by the check out line for a manager and he said the manager was out and not available. Then I went outside and then worker by the pick up orders was helpful and summoned the manager. The manager came out with my order and defended the cashier who ignored me. I stated I cancelled the and did not need it from his store anyway, I could go elsewhere so I can be treated with respect. I hope I was not charged for this..smh.
I am horrified of the people that Lowes has contracted out their work to. Incompetence does not even begin to explain. We paid in full for a backsplash to be installed and with each passing day there is a new reason why the team cannot do it. An estimator came to the house for I am STILL not sure what reason because when the workers showed up to start the job they were insistent on not being able to complete it due to some of the sheetrock exposing brown paper. We were told the job required Wonderboard going up first. Fine. Why didnt the estimator tell us this so that we would be ready before the workers came? Dont know. Could be because he admitted to us that hes not much of a tile guy. THATS COMFORTING!!! We could have avoided taking a day off from work for nothing to get done. We were these materials would cost an extra $250, along with an extra $200 in labor. Turns out that these boards sell for less than $9 per sheet and we needed THREE of them. After ironing out this issue, because someone clearly failed 3rd grade math, we were told to put extender brackets on our outlets so that the covers line up with the wonderbaord. My husband broke his back to get it done quickly so they would be ready for when the installers come. The morning of, about 15 minutes before the installers were rescheduled to come, we were told one guy called out sick and so no one would be coming!! Again, this would have been another day taken off from work for NO reason. After advocating for ourselves, the project manager had to DO HIS JOB and reorganize his team so that someone could get our project started since we were told that the man who called out sick was out until Monday. The installer finished with the Wonderboard after working for roughly 90 minutes, at about 1pm, and left. Before he left he said he would be back the very next day (Friday) first thing in the morning. Did the project manager even check in or follow up with us? Of course not. We take off a third day only to be told that no one was even coming on Friday!! IF YOU ARE GOING TO CONTRACT OUT TO THESE OUTSIDE COMPANIES, THEN THEY HAVE TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE DOING. IF YOU ARE A PROJECT MANAGER, THEN GUESS WHAT, YOU HAVE TO MANAGE YOUR JOB. Never, ever again will we be using Lowes for the rest of our Home Improvement projects.
Very disappointed with Lowe’s. I went to Lowe’s on may 3rd to purchase a shed and opened up a business account. The lady at the desk told me there installing my shed on the may 20th come to find out that it’s only a consultation. So I waited to weeks for them to call me to pick shingles and paint. I will never go back and I will have to go look for another shed somewhere else.
Usual Lowes, but its getting harder to return things. It used to be when starting a project I went and purchased everything I would need - or might need. After the project was done, I returned what I didn;t need. Lowes makes that process harder now, and God forbid you get a gift card back with credit - you need to practically provide a passport before you can use the credit.
I like Lowes, its nice and clean well lit, courteous employees and I can find everything I need. Im still not a fan of self checkout, but there have been more cashiers available and its nice to talk to a person than a machine. On the rare occasion I cant find exactly what I need I run over to the orange place, and really feel outta place. Lowes is really the place I love to shop.
Was about to walk out and would have given this location zero stars after two staff would not assist me and kept saying not my area despite me asking them in the next aisle...however.. the 3rd gentleman I asked did assist me and was able to quickly get me the answer to my rather easy question...two open boxes..both missing pieces...he identified what was missing and combined the two so I could achieve my goal.. replacing the mailbox post and I also purchased a new mail box on his recommendation! Thanks
As a child of a veteran going in to purchase an item on Memorial Day I was disgusted with how poorly my husband and I were treated at Lowe’s. My husband waited in line to have a piece of material (wood) cut and after waiting nearly 30 minutes, the associate manning the machine turns to us, says “can’t cut that” and walked away. It was utterly disrespectful, so unprofessional, and I can’t wrap my head around why you would treat a customer that way. We are typically Home Depot shoppers and only went to Lowe’s for a specific product that brought us in and now I know why I’ve never felt compelled to shop there and never will again.
A much better alternative to the Commack store which is much closer to me but as described in my other review the worst store I have ever shopped in.I had an online order to pick up for 2 sink vanity combos. I had the pleasure of being helped at the pick up desk by a very nice young man named Glenn. Very friendly , helped me load them into my vehicle.Very pleased with the price, product and especially the service. They should teach the Commack store how to operate
I had an online order and showed up 5 hours later and it wasnt ready still. I got mostly ignored despite there only being two other customers. I work in customer service and usually have a lot of empathy for people in the position but honestly it felt like they didnt even try. We had to go get the order off the shelves ourselves....... after waiting for about half an hour and getting ignored. Not impressed
Went in there yesterday to pick up an item on my lunch break. Had the worst experience ever. Since there were no cashiers open I used the machine to scan and pay for my items. Some customer service genius decided to help instead of just clear the machine and ends up charging me double. He then tells me to go to customer service where there is a half hour wait!!! Will never shop there again. Never had a problem at Home Depot and I will never step foot in a Lowes again.
Deals are better then Home Depot and the staff know what theyre talking about. Huge parking lot and they sell propane.I deducted a star because their check out is slow even during their busiest times which stinks for the most part. Its usually slow because the cashiers do a lot of side chatting.They have a large selection comparable to home depot but the layout is better, cleaner and easier to navigate.
While I was able to eventually find the items I was looking for, finding employees was a different story. From the time I entered the store to the time I exited, I saw 3 employees the whole time, a returns cashier, a kitchen designer, and a head cashier at the self checkout. I wound up leaving with everything except custom cut steel cable and rope. No one around to cut those. I was at the store on a Thurdsday around 4:30 PM.
I almost would swear that Lowes mirrored my online search and set the store up accordingly. As soon as I walked in, things I searched for was right in front. The store is completely stocked even through this pandemic we are still fighting. I am pleased that I found what I was looking for and items others didnt carry Lowes did. A clean store makes a better experience for customers as it made mines worth the trip. Ladders, lighting, tables, gardening equipment and supplies, curbside pickup, online pickups everything you need to build, rebuild, and enhance your home. Lowes is a great place to purchase all of your supplies to get the job done.
I had an issue with a product I bought a year ago at Lowes. I contacted the manager Debra K and she was amazing at handling my issue. She provided excellent service by going above and beyond in resolving my issue. I am very pleased and wish that their were more managers and customer service employees such as Debra. This store is very clean, organized and employees are friendly and helpful. Will do all my home shopping here because I know I will get the support I need if the product I purchase ever fails. Been here several times in the last few weeks. Each time was the worst display of customer service I have ever seen in my life. Today was my last trip here. Had to return a few small items. I was standing on line for 10 mins with 5 people behind the counter. Not one of the acknowledged me or said we will be with you in a moment. After 10mins when the girl came up to me there was no apology or greeting. Just so you have a return. From now on Home depot all the way.
Bill in electrical department is excellent. He is always helpful and knowledgeable and has great customer service skills. He has helped me a number of times. There is also a man in paint that helped me with outdoor house cleaner and he is great. Awesome store all around.
I bought cabinet knobs and caulk several months ago. Didn’t use them and went to return them tonite. The store would not take them back because I didn’t have a receipt. The manager, Pete, treated me as if I were too dense to understand his justification. In fact, a policy of not at least giving store credit for things that are still currently on the shelves is ridiculous.I will never shop at Lowe’s again for two reasons: Pete and the ridiculous policy.
I walked into the returns door to be told Ill be right with you so 2 associates could do one return. After more then 5 minutes (plenty of associates standing around) the lady says next. I step up and she points to a huge line and says the line starts over there. There was No one on that line when I came in. Then I go to pay waiting on another line to find out they never gave me my license back . Not even Im sorry. Home depot Ill be back
Ehhh.....Tough to find people to help you. There are people around to ask questions who are very nice but they call for help in your department if you need to really look for something or get something from inventory up top--help. Even trips to the CS desk are no help. At least thats been my experience. You have to hope you find an associate who will take that extra step to come help you.
I purchased a patio set from this Lowe’s on May 2. They said that all the items were there except for a table and they would get that shipped to me. It was supposed to come a few days later then I got a call and they said that none of it was in stock. Due to the pandemic I just let it go because the shipping and things have been slow. Then another 2 weeks goes by and I didn’t hear from them. I attempted to call the store and was hung up on several times. So I called the corporate office they told me that my patio furniture would not be delivered until June 30th.I then went to the store and the store manager kind of dismissed me he says what he can’t do anything about it and that they probably just gave my items to somebody else. I of course returned my undelivered set of furniture. You know I understand that we’re in a pandemic and we’re trying to keep our economy afloat. But customer service should not go out the window either! I was trying to spend $1300 but I guess Lowes didn’t want that money. Well I called Ashley furniture and guess what my furniture will be delivered this Friday. I will never buy an item in this particular Lowes again. Not sure I’m going buy it at Lowe’s again ever.
I was in the lawn and garden department for 15 min w/no help and there was a gentleman who walked up and ask if he could help, I replied yes and he was very helpful and understanding, very apologetic for my wait. Im sorry I didnt get his name I know he said he assembles all the displays in the back, very knowledgeable that store needs more employees like him and he should be a model of how to interact with people.
The Farmingdale store has been completely unresponsive and difficult to deal with. My wife and I went to the store on a Saturday to order our storm door...spent over a half hour w/the sales person and gave our $35 deposit. We were told we would get a call w/in 24 - 48 hours. After 72 hours, I placed a call to the store and they informed me they had no record of my order, but do see that I paid $35? We then went back to the store and placed the order yet again....was given a delivery and installation date, I sit here writing this 1 star review (which is too good for this store) and still no installation. I was told he tried to contact me this morning to tell me he was running late...never got a call, then was told he had the wrong number. Finally I reached him on the phone and he stated someone would be here w/in the hour...2 hours went by and he will no longer accept my calls. I finally just got a call from him to tell me, hes not coming, its now too late. I will have to wait until Saturday, I told him that was unacceptable, and he laughed at me. Ive contacted the corporate office and am kicking myself for not going to reliable Home Depot. Buyer be ware!
Well... I have been using Lowes as my go to for home improvement items for the past 6 years. This is a new, bigger one that opened so I figured I would give them a try.Not my wisest decision... I ordered and paid for my item online for in store pick up. I went with the email that it was ready. I had to go to 3 different lines to pick up my item, I saved ZERO time !Additionally, I saw a good sale on weed n feed so I picked it up. I needed their employee to scan my Lowes membership number and he scanned the fertilizer and--- ripped the bag open, spilling it all over me and the floor and my other items.
Shelves werent correctly stocked and the associates gave me attitude when I asked where the had a specific kind of screw. I have worked in a similar big box hardware store. I do know my way around places like this so before I asked I checked the only 2 places this kind of screw would be and could not find it. The associates didnt want to help me look for it just point me away. I had to ask him to show me but it was as if he had better things to do the help a customer... There was that and when I first walked in I smiled and said good morning to the female associate standing at the door and literally got no response... I should have know from that interaction, what the rest of my visit would be like.
Worst experience ever they are incompadent. I ordered a fridge, dishwasher, and stove after 6 weeks and 4 delivery date still dont have any new appliences. Also there was a problem with my credit card so my bother gave them his the charges came out of his account but every day they keep charging my card twice a day I now have shut my card off so they cant take any more money
Ordered a slow blower online that was delivered to the store. Box was completely destroyed and the snow blower was broken and missing parts. They didnt help facilitate ordering a new snow blower just gave me my money back and sent me on my way. 3 stars because they didnt give me a hard time when I asked for a refund.
First time ever coming to Lowe’s and I will not be coming again. At the time the store was fairly empty. I kindly asked three people for assistance, only two called for assistance for the department. I waited over a half hour and was never assisted. Spoke with manager Carlos, he was polite but was very nonchalant and just gave me excuses.
If I could give negative stars I would. The absolute worse customer service imaginable. The rusty attitude and annoyance from the woman at the pick up counter and the woman that runs the flooring department were soo rude. And even after THEY screwed up my order to begin with then proceeded to make it known on the phone to each other that they did not want to help me and express how annoyed they were at me RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! all because I wanted the correct items I purchased. God awful place truly.
NEVER, EVER, EVER go through Lowe’s for flooring. They contract with a company from NJ who is never available. Been waiting over a month to get the flooring done and between the inept Lowe’s staff and the unavailability of the contractor, cancelled the order and hired a private contractor.
My number one place for anything home or work related. Everything from price to employees trumps everywhere else. And plants and yard needs too. Always a great selection of flowers and bricks, pots, everything garden related with a great staff. home depot is horrendous on that area in comparison. Christmas trees too! Always last 4 to 5 weeks or more! Everything I could ask for!
I was looking for a particular battery item. The computer said the store had 6. I could not find it. A young man in hardware took me all over the store, looking in several places it might be in. He couldnt find it either. He even looked in the overhead area where they keep their stock of batteries.I then had the customer service desk call another store to see if they had the batteries. The girl at customer service spent 25 minutes (I was willing to wait) trying to locate the batteries for me, also to no avail. So, my experience with the staff at Lowes in Farmingdale was excellent. They were VERY helpful. The inventory system, however, leaves a lot to be desired. This was not the first time the computer said they had an item and it was not in the store.Three stars because the item was no where to be found.
Every time I think about shopping here instead of Home Depot, I’m immediately reminded how terrible the customer service is when you compare the two. The customer service culture is severely lacking. It’s like the employees would rather stand around and chat than help you. Today, I needed one piece of oak plywood. I walked in and there were about 15 guys assembling barbecues blocking all the plywood. I went to the front where there was one woman, but she was busy, so I walked next door to where they make the keys. Three guys were standing around chatting and said they’d page someone. No one came. I went back to the lady, who I learned is Mary. She was nice, but I had to sternly express my dissatisfaction and point out again that barbecues were being assembled and there was only one piece of tattered oak plywood. As we went back, another man was angry, because he was told the extra oak would be brought down from above a week prior. Mary took my name and number as well as the measurements for how I need the wood cut. We’ll see how it goes. I’m sure she means well, but based on how this store is managed, I doubt I’ll be hearing from them. So instead, I’ll write this review to tell others to just go to Home Depot.
Every aspect of my experience trying to buy carpeting has been about the worst I have ever experienced.No communication, 15 days and I still dont have a plan or a price, they over measured the first time they came trying to add on 8 yds I didnt need, a message to store manager ignored, 3 different answers regarding padding being mandatory with carpet purchase, endless time on hold whenever calling the store..... I could go on an on.....
Ordered a new front door, a new storm door, and a new fire door from Lowes back in early March. Was a shaky experience shortly after I signed the paperwork and purchased the doors. It was like pulling teeth to get them to call me back throughout the process. I needed to special order a door surround kit and that took me about three trips to the store to complete. Finally came instillation day in Mid April. The installer comes to my home and starts off by telling me that the door surround kit was not in yet and it wouldnt be in for another week. No one from Lowes called to give me this heads up which would of been nice since I took the day off of work to have these doors installed. He offered to put the fire door in and takes it out of its wrapping and the door is dented and damaged. The installer calls Lowes and just my luck they are out of fire doors in the correct size and can do nothing to solve this issue, which leaves me right back where I started with nothing accomplished. Will be heading over to the store today to ask for my refund. Do yourselves a favor and just avoid this place, go to a home improvement store where they take a little bit of pride in doing things right the first time. Lesson learned on my part.
Be waryOn a visit the store yesterday passing the clearance sections grabbed a set of 3 plug in air fresheners marked $1.48 at the register it would not scan cashier Dillan snatches the price off saying someone put the wrong sticker two other employees come over one states we cannot honor that price the other says it’s not in our system we would have to call IT and find out why and then get the price of the item which will take 15-20 mins (then asked if I’d like to wait). The way the situation was handled was very poorly they were acting as though we had done something wrong. As many may know or feel if a place of business has an item set at a price they are suppose to honor the price “they” have listed. I will be very wary of shopping here again and advise others to do the same.
Nice and very clean store,they have very good discounts on home remodeling things.Bought some bathroom accessories with reasonable price.All the aisle are cleanly stocked and east to pick.I want to give 5 stars but the reason is you have to wait long for someone to help you, i believe they are shortage of staff .
The assist store manager (ed I believe) is AMAZING! Parking is ample and u get a nice view of the planes taking off from republic. Selection is good, but the online order person at customer service is pretty bad. Heres just one thing she said to me even if you choose this store online, the internet does whatever the internet wants to do. So Ill let you be the judge on that one. Needless to say ed (ASM) took care of things for me.
The item I was looking for wasnt in stock at home Depot. It wasnt in stock in any home Depot in my area. The three workers I dealt with really had no idea what I was talking about or kept on sending me all around the store on a wild goose chase.I checked Lowes website, two Lowes in my area had them in stock. I went to the store, showed them a picture of what I was looking for they took me right to it. They were very helpful. The store in farmingdale ny is very clean, bright and well stocked.
Been going to this Lowes since the opened 15+/- years ago. I have built 2 of my own houses and my mother’s house, soup to nuts with majority of the purchases from this Lowes. The best part about any of these big box stores is the ease in returning excess material or wrong items, quickly, effortlessly. They simply scan the credit card or issues a store credit with my NYS driver’s license if paid with cash. Amazons and the like, don’t have the brink /mortar functionality. Suddenly, they wouldn’t take back a purchase with my ID. They expect me to type in my phone number at check out with cash ( no… I don’t want more phone call solicitations), or to carry a Lowes card on my keys. ( no thanks… I have enough to carry). I spoke to the manager on duty….( mike, dave, something). Complete DB. He said the store policy has always been no returns or store credit unless you have a receipt, phone number, paid with card or carry that lowes key fob. I explained to him that sometimes I just use cash in a hurry and have been operating like this for years. Also explained that I spend a lot of money with his store ( just spent 1k in deck framing last month) so store credit is fine…. I just spend it here anyway. He firmly said…. No receipt, no returns. I suggested that he help me or I’ll be taking my business going fwd, across the street to Home depot. I haven’t been back since.
The worst Lowes for customer service. Unless you get the checkout lady in the lumber department lanes! But generally the staffing is a bunch of i dont know! Or i cant. Anna in customer service is awful. Patrick that has something to do with visual merchandise is disruptive to customer care. And i have overheard employees bragging about spending extra time in the bathrooms because ...what are they going to do?The appliance gurus sucks. I will never buy appliances at Lowes again. I had issues and they were all shruggy shoulders and rather chat about their internet searches. (Unrelated to customer care)Ill tell you what to do...I actually prefer Lowes to Home Depot but hate to use this particular location unless i go thru the lumber department (cuz of the one can do spirit working the register).
There are never any associates available in any department. When there are, you have to wait 30 mins for them to help you. If you happen to find someone they say oh you need to find someone from that department to help you. Obviously Im trying! Home Depot down the road is much better staffed.
I have been trying to get in touch with the flooring dept. and there is never anyone there. Someone from plumbing ended up helping me when I went there and then told me the wrong amount of boxes to order of flooring. When I went back to order another box, just one more, they were out of stock. I’ve been waiting for over two weeks now to see if they’re in stock yet. And how do i have to check? By calling every day where no one ever answers the phone in the flooring department. Do not buy flooring from Lowe’s.
We purchased a snow blower 2 years ago along with a4 year extended warranty. We were told someone would come to our house to repair the snow blower. When I called I was told my snow blower wasnt covered under this we would have to bring it in. We were told we wouldnt have to pay for repairs another lie. I was told the snow blower was clogged and it wasnt covered. 116.00 later very disappointed. We will never purchase anything from lowes
Trying to do a new bathroom for a client and its very frustrating that they dont have all the items in stock. They wont order the items that you need for you, they want you to drive to their other stores to get what you need. The staff member had a hard time just looking up items in the system. Very disappointed
I went to the farmingdale lowes and I was buying carpeting. While I was in the store someone hit my car, after I saw it at home I called lowes but no one would help me with my issue. I called several times but no one helped. After spending over $300 in the store I now have a car to repair. Beyond disappointed.
My wife and I were looking for kitchen cabinets to match up with Our Kitchen cabinets, we found them on- line at Lowes...But We were ready to get them this weekend .. every location was out of stock .. It Did show that 1 Lazy Susan cabinet was left at the Farmingdale location, When we called to confirm that the cabinet was available. Sheldon answered the phone and checked while we waited on the phone , and promptly said yes it was ..Even Kathy the manager in Paint Department was wonderful and went beyond to Help us ..When we got to the Store ,( We drove from Woodmere to Farmingdale)Sheldon got a forklift and brought the cabinet down for us and also the sink base cabinet for us ..Service was great and i wont argue with the 5% off we got at check out..Besides my Wife being Happy is a Bonus..Thank you Lowes...Phil n. I come here often for my home needs and always have a good experience but today was different. An employee, I believe his name is Joe, helped me cut my wood to fit in my car. My son was with me and he was so kind and friendly to my son I had to write this review. We talked breifly while loading the wood into the cutting frame about how the wood was for my sons new room. Then he was careful to warn my son that the saw would make some noise (my son is 2). After cutting, while we loaded the wood, he was asking my son if he was excited about his new room. It was all about the way he did all this. Smiling and in such a friendly way... I cant express it in words. Thank you Joe for your help and courtesy and thank you lowes for creating an environment where people like Joe can help us all and leave us smiling
I ordered window treatments on 3/31/14 2 pcs and was supposed to be delivered to my house. After like 8 weeks when I did not receive them I called the store and I was told that they have been delivered to my house. I explained to them that if I have received them why would I be calling you guys. I was told that somebody signed for it I asked for the name and the name they gave me, not in my household but a person with that name does not even live in my neighborhood because I have been living in this neighborhood for 15 years and I know everybody.One of the manager named Mike came on the phone and told me that their nothing I can do if Fedex lost the shipment. I told him that I bought from you, you arranged the delivery and you should take care of this because I did not buy this from fedex after lots of argument he told me that he will call later. He called fedex and later on fedex called me and girl named Anna told me that they were sorry and they are going to order another set and will ship it. This conversation took place in May and now it is June and called lowes again and the lowes manager Mike gave me the same story and once again after argument he told me that he will call me back. He called me back and told me that he spoke to Fedex and they told him that this case is closed and we are not doing anything. I told Mike that fine then you have to provide me either refund or order another set and he told me that I can only offer you 50 percent refund and he will reorder the stuff for me.Let me tell you I have spent thousands of dollars at the store and now I will never enter that store again and the best store in the world is Home Depot, they really take care of their customers.Rasheed KhanHuntington Station
We came from a Farmingdale Lowes to Hicksville Lowes located on 920 South Broadway for a patio door which was on clearance for $653 at the Farmingdale location and the Hicksville location would not honor the clearance price, this is total price misrepresentations. Not a good way to do business, a very upset customer.
Dennis at the pro desk is 1 in a 1000. I drive passed 2 home Depots and another Lowes to work with Dennis. He checks all the boxes and always goes beyond. Few go to Lowes more than I do. Or at least spend more in Lowes and Home Depot even if I personally dont show up. This store seems to be well run. I go to Lowes for my lighting and finish type items. I go to Home Depot for my Building type materials. Lowes gets my kitchen cabinet and appliance business whereas I go to Home Depot for plumbing fixtures and bath and tile usually.
Currently trying to order tile.....been hung up on 7 times, called back an 8th time, finally someone picked up and then I guess put the phone down, I got tired of listening to her talk about her personal life for 3 minutes (I guess forgetting Im on the line???) so now Im calling again for the 9th time. Crazy.
My experience with Lowes is always a pleasure, Patrick in outdoor gardens is always very informative and polite, he would go to the extent to let you know how to use the product and the plants you purchase, and not only Patrick,but Angela,at the front desk,Maryann in plumbing and a few other,l cant remember there names.Mohammed, was a excellent manager,l havent seen him there lately?
Never again will I ever step foot inside Lowes, I purchased 10K in kitchen cabinets and it was a disaster once I received the cabinets, most doors were damage the pantry was damage, 6 cabinets came in damage, missing crown and damage toe kicks. Kraft Maid cabinets are far from being high end and quality made. On top of that I purchased 4k in appliances and the refrigerator came in dented in several locations and brand new microwave out of the box was severely damaged a second microwave also came in damage. Lowes management team and store managers did nothing to resolve this matter. Unfortunately Lowes is not doing well and some of the stores are closing. Good for them, because the sick as far as customer service goes.
Arrived late..spent money..one girl was rude..The other was magic..shame..you guys other than her were great..700 bucks spent and I was made to feel like a waste of time....perhaps she needs to work elsewhere..or close the doors earlier so customers dont have to spend money..!!!!!....not good..very unhappy when I tried to return an item..took..30 mins to return an item..then I had to rush to buy more incase I got more looks and wheezes from the lazy I dont care staff..nasty store..and I spend thousands a month..not there any more..nasty nasty.unhelpful..lazy grumpy people...Try working somewhere else...because you useless unhelpful time wasting leaches are dragging a good store down..
Very disappointed, decided to shop for a new kitchen countertop on a rainy Sunday...sales associate replied Oh no I only do baths and you need an appointment for kitchens, rudely also, could have called for assistance for us at least, we just wanted prices on countertop replacement, never dealing with Lowes for any updates, will go to the professionals

2021-12-11I remodeled my kitchen using Lowes in Farmingdale with designer Mark Prince. From June 2021 to Nov. 2021 Mark lived up to his name, he was a Prince, from design changes to installation of my kitchen he was very much involved. I selected Diamond Reflections, and though I had to wait 4-5 months for the product I was very happy. The Diamond cabinets all came in with little to no issues. My contractor also did a great job Jose Construction and the countertop/backsplash through Lowes was also a crowd pleaser. I am very happy with the products and service. I highly recommend working with Mark Prince, he is very customer oriented and very patient.My only other recommendations is to see the stone you select for your countertops and if you go through Lowes ask for Marlin and Sergio to install your countertops they are the best!

We always go there for hone decoration, home furniture and all accessories, we bought washing machines and fridge from there it was nice visit. We always go there and obviously must recommend, because their quality is also good with the price.

2022-06-14Just like any Lowe’s. It was good, they didn’t when I was looking for. I was looking for something specific for my power washer. So I had to order it on Amazon. There’s no fault to the store. It’s a specific part that’s hard to find. Most stores I find don’t have pro stuff that you need in the hardware stores and most likely do but this was a very specific part that I needed. Plus there’s Lowe’s is in a weird location where are you can I don’t know is there there’s no real signage less you cannot looking down the road. But definitely recommend as long as it’s nice it’s big and it has pretty much everything you’re kind of looking for

2022-06-27They have what you need, usually. Ive been to the garden center several times this spring, very good selection but we all see the prices going up, and I usually buy alot. This trip was to see if they had the privacy screens in stock(not just the regular lattice). They have it online but not in the store. I wanted to see how sturdy and how it could be cut for the area I need. Unfortunately, they only have the standard lattice in store.

2022-04-15Always well stock. Workers are very knowledgeable and friendly. My only issue is the directions to get there. If you dont know the area you can easily miss where to turn cause there is no visible sign from off the main street of Rt 110 to let you know. The signs outside does not indicate that Lowes in anywhere in the area.
