Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
Halfmoon LowesStore:1740We bought a new fridge on 3/4, delivered on 3/7. Ice machine produced ice for a few days and then stopped. We did all the necessary troubleshooting to ensure it wasn’t a quick fix. It would drop a few cubes here and there over a few days; but it does’t work as it should. Woke up one day last week with a bin full of ice and then it didn’t work again. At the time of purchase we had 30 days to return or exchange. Last week Lowes changed their policy to 15 days from purchase. We wanted to exchange the broken on for a new FROM THEM. We were told we couldn’t because of the policy change that was now in effect. We argued that they should honor the policy based on the date we purchased the appliance. Apparently not. We’ve filed a formal complaint with corporate. The women working at customer service was rude, spoke over and eventually hung up on my husband. The only positive thing I have to say was the MOD was very kind and understanding and the sales associate I worked with as well. Shame on you Lowes Home Improvement —Should we be calling daily to ask if your return policy has changed? We are within the 30 days of sale and you should honor a policy that is on a sticker in front of your cash register.Am I totally off here?
Employees don’t understand policy and rude customer service.I attempted to return a water heater I bought 11 days ago in brand new condition, never opened. My plumber said I needed a “short” model to fit my exhaust setup so had to return. Their posted return policy is 30 days with receipt in new condition for water heaters. The woman at the return counter looked over the box and shook it. It rattled. She gave me a dirty look and said that doesn’t sound good. Gas water heaters have vents on the top and they rattle. They all do it.She ran the return through and claimed it’s a 10 day return window and I’m on day 11. There is nothing she can do. I point to the return policy on her counter that says 30 days. She says sorry nothing I can do. The policy has changed. “You can contact A. O. Smith” (the manufacturer) I am unsure what the manufacturer will do in relation to my return attempt.I walked away and waited for my friend to drive around to reload the water heater back in the truck. I searched the return policy on Lowes website while I waited. Sure enough…30 days new condition with receipt. I meet all those wickets. I proceed to go back and show this to her and she says sorry, new policy says no. I ask for a manager or to get a second opinion. She claims she is the manager of this department. Sorry nothing we can do.I load it up and drive to Saratoga Lowes and returned it in 5 minutes. Warning came up on the register about 10 days and she called someone over and they said I just need to override the code and they did. They stated it’s 30 day return window and they just need to confirm it’s in the original packaging.Bottom line if you’re the manager of returns, you should be aware of your own return policies.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. The customer service at this Lowes is so jarringly horrible. The associates there are rude, unhelpful, seeming bothered by customers, and so unknowledgeable in their responsibilities. I had to go to Lowes almost everyday for weeks during my home bathroom remodel and sadly, every single experience I had there was so negative and made me want to never return.
Store managers do NOTHING at this store. The younger ladies at customer tried to help, made multiple pages but NO manager came up to open the garden gate resister for me to get pellets. They paged almost 5 times, while dealing with a line of customers. Managers should be fired due to their unwillingness to actually help customer service and open a gate (Something that should of taken 5 minutes took an hour.)
I walked into this store to purchase some succulents and found a lot of the plants wind burnt and just mistreated. Why bother buying product from vendors if you cannot properly maintain them for customer to buy them, why do you try to sell dead arrangements? Why did I walk into a garden of succulents and Cacti looking like a grave yard?
The waiting in line was incredibly frustrating.Slow, slow, sllloooooowwwww going.burned up most of the day. Then once my brother in law and I got the Brand new water heater down into the basement.Upon unboxing Lowes long waited for product we very unhappily noticed that it was severely damaged by what appeared to be a fork from a fork truck. WONDERFUL.So we had to immediately return the heater.Only to wait another hr to get another one down off the shelf.wow! ANYWAYS,GOODBYE LOWES.GOODBYE!
Ya gotta love this place and you cant say it doesnt have the kitchen sink either. Only issue is everyone WANTS to help but not everone knows what they are talking about. It tends to side track what you were forcusing on yourself and waste some time as they go through their infomation that if you didnt check 3 times you would be returning what they recommended!
Frustration and some shady information:Let me preface this by saying I wholly understand that the pandemic has made things difficult to say the least. This review will not be taking that into consideration. My wife and I decided to order our quartz countertops from Lowes. Initially we thought that this was the safe thing to do. After providing the design with dimensions, having the company template for the countertops and waiting the 6 to 8 weeks after template for production, Lowes called with over $800 in changes. This is what we were told...1. There are an additional 5sf2. There is a radius corner fee3. There is a large slab fee1A. When asked where the additional 5sf came from, we were told that we are expected to pay for the waste material.2A. When asked during the design, we had chosen the -no cost- option... so when asked why we are now being charged, we were told this is the smallest radius that could be made.3A. The initial design included full dimensions. When asked why this was not caught at that point, we were not provided with any answer.Moving on, I called the stone top manufacturer to clear up this misinformation.1B. After measuring MANY times, there was NO excuse for that additional 5sf. Paying for the scrap/ waste is NOT a thing and we were eventually told that the additional 5sf was a program error.2B. The manufacturer told me that all corner options are free and that 1/4 is the smallest they can manufacture, NOT 3/8 that Lowes told us.3B. The large slab we decided was fine and would pay the additional $190.XX.A pertinent part of this entire story being that the manufacturer called Lowes about the large slab change on the 13th. Lowes waited till the 19th to make us aware of this information. We then set up a 4:30 pm appointment to finalize the project and pay the additional $190. My wife showed up and the associate assisting did not. After 30 mins of waiting, and MANY Lowes associates not even engaging her, she left.Ultimately this miscommunication, misinformation and overall poor customer service has left us further behind than what would be -pandemic- expected. I would NOT recommend using Lowes for your high end kitchen project. This overall experience has been woefully disappointing.Lowes, I suggest you find a way to improve your communication and contractor information, otherwise it comes across very shady and untrustworthy.
Purchased my Kitchen Cabinets from this Lowes because the customer service is much then the Lowes in Glenville. Jenna was great to deal with, very personable and was also very helpful with assisting us with the kinds of cabinets and accessories that would work in your remodeling job. Would recommend Jenna to anyone looking to purchase Kitchen cabinets. Hoping the cabinets are as good as the service was in purchasing them.
I needed help a few times and I saw employees, but I had to chase them down for help. And the young ones especially move like turtles. I was there for a few hours I bought a washer and a bunch of other stuff and I wanted some plastic and tape for the bundle of straw I bought I didnt want a mess in my new car. I had to hunt for plastic and it must have taken me 20 minutes to get a tape gun and I did it myself while the kids were in awe, like what are you doing, and then the 2 walked away. After I was done tapeing I was speaking to a few customers in line and they were also complaining on the service. I did deal with a few older gentlemen that were helpful but the younger employees it was a joke. No help, no backbone I hope theyre not getting paid too much. I wonder do these companies ever look at the security tapes before people complain to see what the employees are or arent doing? Also, I had back surgery and its hard for me to lift anything and I was told that I would receive help to put the hay or straw whatever you want to call it in my car. Good luck finding that help I didnt.I used to mystery shop and one of my shops was Lowes and the service was never this bad. On the positive side. I like my washer.
If I could give negative stars I would. I contacted our Lowe’s last night to verify they had enough of the carpet we wanted and was advised had way more than I needed and coming today wouldn’t be a issue. We arrived today at the store and I nearly had to beg to get assistance from a older gentleman with glasses (unable to get his name) to tear him away from the computer in the carpet and floor section. I had the piece with the numbers etc.. we went over to the rolls he rudely stated they haven’t had that carpet in the past 2 weeks and offered us others at more than double the price, insulted me on my measurements, threw vinyl flooring that was left from the prior crew across the floor and stomped off stating to let him know if we wanted any of the expensiver carpet that he wasn’t going to wait around. He also advised he didn’t know who I talked to the night before but probably one of the younger workers who didn’t know what they were doing. We walked out right by him not saying a word and went across the street to Home Depot where we were treated with respect and purchased not only our carpet but also vinyl flooring! This person in Lowe’s should not be working with customers. For now on we will be going to Home Depot for our building needs.
It’s Lowe’s, the lifesaver we all flock to! This branch’s experience is comfortable from getting in & out of the parking lot to the layout of the store. I always seem to get what I need, then I’m on my way without thinking much about it. I’m there a LOT more often than I probably realize!
What an incredible experience. Our dishwasher had broken and I needed a new one so we were just going to look at options and they happen to have a very nice one on clearance. They also had a fridge on clearance and I had been wanting to update the one we currently had anyways. We worked with Mark who was great. Not pushy or trying to get us to buy something more expensive. He was so helpful and honest with us I genuinely could not have been happier.
The in store shopping experience is about average. employees tend to be knowledgeable and helpful and focused on the layperson as opposed to the professional or expert which is fine.the online pickup experience is horrifying. combined with the returns counter the wait time can vary a great deal. also depending on your order not everything may be available on your first visit which will require a second trip. orders in a hodge podge mess just out of sight. inventory system doesnt give employees a clear idea of where items may be in the delivery chain.. warehouse truck intake stock shelf or pickup. be prepared to spend 30 minutes if your order is more than one simple item.
Fantastic visit today. I found everything I needed in one visit. The store wasnt too crowded and everyone was following the CDC guidelines on social distancing and facemasks. The store was clean and recently swept. I was asked if I needed any help while in the tool area, I didnt catch her name but she helped me find my purchase right away. The cashier was available with no waiting during this visit. I also observed parking available for those who wish to utilize curb side pick up. I plan to return to this location in the near future.
I like this store but the service here is terrible. Not sure if its the lack of adequate staffing or what.Internet orders placed for pick up often take twice as long to receive as it would take just to walk in, find your items and wait in line to pay. Dont even think about exchanging a propane cylinder here unless you dont mind standing around for 30 minutes and repeatedly going back inside to try to find someone who can unlock the cage.
Went to Lowe’s Halfmoon Ny store last weekend and purchased a dishwasher. I did not have my Lowe’s with me so I ended up cashing out at customer service. The service associate said the dishwasher could be delivered the following day, Sunday. I waited most of the day on Sunday, finally called to check on the status of the delivery and was told there was a problem it didn’t make it onto the truck and will not be delivered on Sunday. I complain to the manager who is assured me that it would be delivered the following day. Waited most of the day Monday for this dishwasher and no delivery. Call the store again and was told the information was never relayed to the delivery people. Since appliances are the same everywhere and the reason we buy from A particular location is for the service I would highly recommend that you buy your Appliances elsewhere because the service has been terrible.
Lowes kitchen remodel... lowes doesnt stand by their work. One problem to another, from incorrectly measuring the kitchen, damaging our newly installed flooring by not laying down floor protection, damaged dented and rusted stove, severely damaged microwave, incorrect hardware holes drilled (had to replace 3 doors...), inexperienced workers not properly supervised, job taking months, molding cut in middle of span which is a total eyesore, Job liaison person who calls once a week and asks the same questions without ever resolving a thing. I paid lowes up front for a 20,000. kitchen, what a mistake. Please go elsewhere. This has been one of the worst experiences. How lowes can continue to work with the contractor that worked on our kitchen is an indication that Lowes doesnt care to back their service.
Made an online order for stone. Order was a week late, and when I went to pickup could not get anyone to help me locate order. An associate I asked on the floor told me he can’t help and kept on moving. Asked prodesk associate was told he can’t help me because I ordered it online and he wouldn’t know what to look for. 🤥 So I went back to service desk and canceled my order. Lowe’s Halfmoon is by far the worst store I’ve shopped at. Dirty and unhelpful employees.
Appliances lady heather and yani will lie to you about inventory, went to purchase a appliance they said had one in stock and so did the Lowes app left the store 5 mins later the item was out of stock most likely employee bought the inventory as they never came from the backroom. Never going to this lowes ever again waste of time. Heather is a bad appliance manager along with the other one that works there very disappointed...
I am a very amateur, aspiring-woodworker getting my garage set up for some beginners woodworking so I went to Lowes in Halfmoon Friday morning. Overwhelmed by the drill bits selection I mustve looked lost because my savior, Lowes employee Nick, noticed I looked lost and asked if he could help with anything. I explained I am just starting out to get tools i need to build things - I explained the specific projects and Nick hooked me up. He didnt bombard me with things i dont need, he was patient and spent what I want to say was a good 30-45 minutes with me, helping me choose drill bits because i had no clue what to look for. he suggested items and explained the difference between an impact driver and a drill (i had no idea). He didnt talk down to me or make me feel like a silly woman doing a mans job kinda way. Nick was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I appreciate his patience and time he spent with me. He kept asking what else could he help me with, until I finally let him go. Thats the way I like to feel as a customer walking into a place. Thank you Nick, youre the man!
Great help locating mower I wanted and getting it down from top shelf, problem with discount the girl at the service desk took care of issue quickly. Im very pleased with this store and the employees I dealt with. This will be the Lowes I shop at from now on. Thank you.
Ive had a lowes card for over 5 years and do ALL my business there. Ive always boasted of them over depot, but this bathroom renovation has been a nightmare with shopping here. Now after waiting 20 days for our vanity (when it said it would be available for pickup by the 16th) our contractor breaks it out of the box and its all damaged on the front of the vanity! This will be the 2nd trip we paid a contractor to do nothing because of lowes. Now we have to wait another 2 weeks at least for a new vanity, pushing our bathroom remodel out a full month waiting on a vanity. No discount, refund, or upgrade offered by management. Might have to try home depot out again. Very disappointing.
Drove an hour to buy 2 rolls of screening. Prior to leaving, I verified with them that they had 13 in stock. Showed up and they had zero in stock. Sent me another half-hour out of my way to purchase at a different store. Very poor customer service. This is the last straw. Im a contractor and have had lots of issues with Lowes lately. I understand that things have been strained with the Corona Virus, but thats not a good excuse for poor customer service. Im done purchasing from Lowes.
I dont even live near this Lowes but almost always shop there because of great customer service! I ordered something online today and it was unavailable so instead of just canceling my order like has happened to me at other Lowes before I received a call from a nice gentleman named Michael who went out of his way to find another store locally that had the item I needed and personally contacted them to ensure they had the item in stock and available for me. Greatly appreciated his help and the customer service at Halfmoon Lowes.
I have had great employees there that are always helpful. Mary who works in lawn and garden, always gone out of her way. The younger ones as well as a very big man that works in lawn and garden I won’t even ask a question. They seem agitated and unwilling to move. I got 30 bags of mulch, and he couldn’t find his gloves. By the time he found them I had loaded the bags myself. I spend a lot of money there, between appliances and garden supplies.
Ok... not really a big box store fan, for many reasons... first off, support your Mom & Pop stores, buy local, but also, lately the big stores must have problems hanging onto staff, as no one really knows where anything is, and in general seem to be very lost in the store. Quite a few employees not covering properly with masks. If you cant wear one, get a card, if you can, wear it properly, we can beat this!. Aside from that, prices are through the roof on many many items.
The people who work at this store are literally the worst. We ordered 4 major appliances online and sadly this was the fulfilling store. With each purchase our experiences got worse and worse. They took our money and lost most of our order and acted like we were really inconveniencing them when we tried to find out where the appliances that we purchased were. The appliance manager was incredibly rude to me AND the Lowes corporate customer service rep that was on the phone with me. Do yourself a favor, go through any other Lowes besides this one, or go to Home Depot. These people are rude an incompetent and will only cause you problems.
We wanted to find two small items. Asked help from two staff members for two different items. Both were very helpful . They guided us extremely well, not only to find the item but also gave tips on, how we can solve the problem. Wish I had taken their photos or asked their names to write here. Thanks .
Placed an order on 7/14 them having 54 stockade fence panels in stock was supposed to be delivered today 7/23 how nice of them to sell them to someone else. Put you told my money. Now noone can tell me when I will recieve them. Never called to let me know. I called to see what time they would be here. Corporate office can see that when I placed my order they were in stock. Its a shame that Lowes has no respect for customers. Lets see how long before I get my fence pancels
Waited for about 40 minutes with my 2 small children for someone to cut my shades after asking no less than 5 employees for help. I also called them to ask if they had flooring samples in stock (because last time I was there they had absolutely no samples available). When I called, the employee in flooring told me she was very busy and wouldnt be able to put samples out (mind you, this was a week after I originally went when they were out of samples). Apparently theyve been too busy for at least a week to restock. I could go on with many more negative experiences Ive had at this place, but I honestly dont want to waste any more of my time on Lowes.
The management here is terrible. Saturday midday and only 2 out of 10 registers open. Its always like this here, even before covid. You end up spending more time in line making a simple purchase then you do working on your project. If you have a ton of time to waste standing in line, then theyre fine.
I went into this Lowes to return a product that I purchased I did not have my receipt for it. At the time of purchase the item was $95.99. When I returned it they told me that they had went on clearance for $40 and that would be the amount of my refund without a receipt. I told them I would take the item back and see if I can find my receipt for it. The customer service representative said to me well you could have told me that before I started this transaction now I have to void it in my system. I apologize to her and took my item back and she said well your apology doesnt make it any better.I took my product I left the store and I returned it to the Amsterdam store who were very pleasant and accommodating. I should note however when I went into the Amsterdam store at that time I had found my receipt. In any event it does not justify the way I was treated in the Clifton Park location.
2017 - Professional service. Clean store. High value discounts on ready to use items. 8X10 area rug matches our living room perfectly... and we got it 70% off!2020 - removed a star. Went on a Saturday during the COVID crisis. Had to wait in a 30 person line that took about 15 minutes to check out. The local home depot seems to have a higher level of expertise.
I want to thank the store manager, a young woman whose name I do remember, for her assistance with helping me resolve an issue with a trailer title. She was very helpful and courteous and saved me a lot of time. Really made my day, even though I know she did not need to help since I purchase the trailer at another Lowes location. Really good customer service. Kudos to her
Not good. I purchased a washer and dryer (LG WM3700 and DLEX3700) with the promise they were stock, but delivery would be delayed three weeks due due COVID and reasons...fine.Day of delivery (three weeks later) I received a call telling me they have the dryer but not the washer. So, I was either lied to or stolen from, or both. When I talked to the manager, he offered a 10% discount and to look into it, with no firm timing for where my washer wash or when it will be delivered. I took my refund and left. Awful.
I ordered a vanity online, recieved a text stating it was ready for pick up. I went there at 7am and had to wait over an hour for them to find it. I brought it home (it weighted 100 lbs) unloaded it, took the box off and it was destroyed. I had to load it back up and return it. When I went to the return counter the cust serv person said that he was going home for the day and left me standing there for a while until i flagged down someone walking by. This store is poorly managed and the workers do not care about the customers
Very nice store, helpful associates. I am impressed that out of the four associates who helped us, three were identified as veterans by the vests that they wore.Lowes is truly committed to support for veterans, and the knew what was expected of them in the department they were in.
Bruce at the Pro desk is an amazing employee. He was actually done for the day when I came in and needed to place a large orde . Instead of telling me to come back tomorrow he went back to work and helped me place my very large special order. What a great man. I know where I am shopping from now on.
Will never shop at Lowe’s again after tonight. Ordered a grill online for in store pick up, requested it be unassembled so it could fit in the car. The next day we were notified it was ready and drove the half Hour to the store since they didn’t have it in stock at our local store. Upon arrival we had to wait ten minutes for anyone to help us, once they did the woman at the counter processed our order without confirming it was up front ready to be picked up. Twenty minutes later she couldn’t find it. So they called to the back of the store and a man brought out the wrong grill (the floor model) that was assembled. After informing another customer service representative this wasn’t the right grille and showing her our paperwork, she became frazzled and stated they didn’t have this grill in the store and the only thing they could do was refund us. I asked if we could pick it up at another location that had it in stock. She called another store, acted annoyed and did nothing to initiate the pick up at that location, despite my request. Our only option was to get refunded, repurchase the grill from this other location and lose that hour of our lives we’ll never get back. Poor customer service all around from both the corporate brands inventory system to the local chains fulfillment process.
I have said Lowes was my all-time favorite place for tools right up until I moved into this area and went to this Lowes. Ive never once been greeted by anyone and Ive been there a hundred times plus every time I need a specific item they have that entire aisle closed down for some reason plus the inventory is very slim many times not having what I needed looks like Ill be over at Home Depot from now on
They were very responsive after a stock error caused them to give me the wrong color paver stones. (item # was labeled wrong)I was stuck with 72 of the wrong pavers.Ashley was nice and she helped rectify the situation without having me jump through hoops. The right pavers were delivered and the wrong ones were taken back in a timely manner.Mistakes happen, its how the error is corrected that is important! Thanks so much!
I really like Lowes over any of the competition. Knowledgeable staff in each department, always have what I need and they always have enough registers open so youre not waiting 20 minutes to check out. Plus save 10% on your purchases with your Lowes card. Its a no brainer for me. Oh, and dont forget they take care of military with a 10% discount. Thank you Lowes for being a great American company.
Carpet installers damaged my home in multiple places and stole materials I had paid for. From the very beginning both the installer and Lowes tried to avoid responsibility and make poor excuses. After finally agreeing to a discount, months later they never processed the credit that they had promised. I cant believe I have to spend more time out of my day on the phone with them again about this. Incompetant, unethical and criminal. I will never shop at Lowes again.
If you are someone who is following state mandates and being careful with the virus, avoid this store. Management/employees do not require face coverings for customers and you will see many without them. Even sore employees will wear them around their chin or under their nose, rendering them useless, and then will approach you to offer help.
It is a Lowes, kinda like the orange competitive store across the street but a little brighter with staff that seem friendlier but sometimes seem to know a little less about the products or way to fix that thing that caused you to come into the store. And while this is not true for all employees as there are some amazing people it just seems like the cleaner and better your store looks the less staff you working the floor. As for prices and selections, they are good they have some brands that HD doesnt but that is also true in reverse. Their garden department does a better job at this lowes of clearing out end of season products and making deals.
Spent 20 minutes waiting for a staff member to come over and help me. Thats after I spent 5 mins waiting to talk to someone up front to send help. Experiences like this have become more and more common at this store. I will be avoiding this store as often as possible from now on and I will be recommending that my family and friends do the same.
Hi my name is Kevin I think Ive had the worst experience at your store that Ive ever had. When in a Memorial Day to buy a lawn mower and a grill after about an hour we finally got somebody to help us. We set up the appointment for them to take and put the grill together it was supposed to be done the next day which would have been Tuesday afternoon We called up on Tuesday and asked if it was ready and it was not they said to call back Im Wednesday we tried after hours of trying to call finally got through to customer service it still wasnt together on Thursday afternoon they called us and said it was done where in the pick it up Saturday for a cook out we were having with its prospective clients the grill was already sold to somebody else and they didnt have any put together told me I had to wait until the following Wednesday further and person that puts them together the show up I asked to speak to store manager and I got the run around. I tried calling the store numerous times to complain about this the growing customer service pick the phone up once I asked to speak to the man system manager will mixer and she hung the phone up on me I dont know if this is what goes on in all your stores but this was a very very badd experience
I paid $7000+ for a window job in May. Here we stand a few days short of September and the job still isn’t complete. The two people who I originally worked with are no longer with the company, and as the customer I am paying the price for it. Every part of hiring Lowe’s was unprofessional and a huge run around. The installers were great, Lowe’s was pitiful. Even worse at the store location.
I purchased an upright freezer from this store, and received an order confirmation email indicating delivery between 8 AM and 8 PM on a particular day. The day of delivery was important, since I was receiving a bulk order of frozen meat. Hoping to confirm, I called before 8 AM on the day of delivery and was repeatedly hung up on, disconnected or recycled through their answering system menu. After over a dozen attempts to reach the correct extension for deliveries, I gave up and started trying any department that would pick up. SAME RESULT. 1 STAR for their phone system!Ultimately, however, their driver called me by 8 AM and indicated delivery between noon and 2 PM. They arrived at 1 PM (with another heads up call) and were very gracious about delivering the freezer to the proper location and setting it up. 5 STARS for the delivery team!
I take my ENTIRE 5 star review back. I thought all issues were resolved, but nope. One screw up after the next, and it’s honestly just the Clifton Park, NY store I’ve had issues with. Almost every single thing I’ve ordered through this store has been shipped to a wrong place, improperly invoiced, arrived damaged or sat forever pending delivery, all of which has required my intervention. The friggin employees in Customer Service know me by name, even one has my number memorized!! It’s a real sh** show in this store. Bathrooms are hideous too. If you want to shop at Lowe’s, go to Saratoga, Niskayuna, Colonie, anywhere but here.
Very disappointed in Lowes. I purchase clearance lighting items on August 4th and was told to pick then up on October 4th because it takes a special team to remove them from the wall. I paid in advance $203 for the total bill. My husband went twice before October 4th to ask about the lights. On his 2nd visit, October 2nd he was told the lights were thrown away. They refunded his money and told him if he purchase more lighting that same day they could only offer him 25% off. He wasnt able to purchase anything because the cost was over $400 for less items he originally purchased. I called and spoke with the assistant manager who said he would call me back and still hasnt. This is really poor customer service, communication and business. Im really upset over this as this was all Lowes fault.
I was shopping online and saw a A/C unit that I wanted to purchase online but I could not get a military discount unless I went to the store. The following day I went there and the price went up $60.00. Adam adjusted the price back with a smile and provided customer service above and beyond what was expected.
I cannot express enough how impressed and in awe I am of the Clifton Park Lowe’s! Eric and Tom will forever be angels in my book! I went in today looking for donations for a local family who just lost their son to an awful tragedy. The community is coming together to finish the family’s basement in hopes of making their return home a little easier. Tom was able to donate all of the wood and sheetrock we need for the project. The amount of compassion I felt did not go unnoticed and I will forever be a Lowe’s costumer from now on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! This donation is really going to help an amazing family who is going through the unspeakable.
We were looking for two slightly obscure things and no one could help us, but BOY did they try!!! We found one thing on our own and another by accident with the help of a clueless worker. I am sure they know their own departments very well, but I DEFINITELY have to give them 4 stars for customer service!
More than once Ive come here and left disappointed. I am not one to write a poor review however for a nationwide company, I cant help but question certain local decisions. As a supply house, I was informed this evening that as per the district managers decision the Clifton Park Lowes has decided to no longer carry carpet padding, as they only care to sell carpet padding for installation. An associate informed me this was a decision made by the district manager Dave. This is not only frustrating, but also baffling to me why a building material supply store would prefer to sell installation instead of supplies???? I would love to hear an explanation for this ridiculousness. Please and thank you.
I dont think they understand how customer service works. (Angel) the male behind the customer service desk acted like we were a bother when we returned to exchange a keyless deadbolt. He basically went out of his way to avoid helping us, literally he found other things to do while we stood in line to exchange our product.
We always have a great experience at Lowes with the exception of the Latham store. Often they do not have what we are looking for and the service is less than desirable. However, Colonie (by BJs Warehouse) and Clifton Park always get an A+! Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Bruce (Colonie store) in the cabinet department who always is willing to assist and offer ideas and suggestions for us to consider for our kitchen remodel...Thanks Bruce!
I am very disappointed in Lowes. I ordered a dishwasher that was in stock on the 15th and paid for installation. I was told I would hear from the installer within 48 hours. It is now the 20th and Im told by some snotty people at the installation department that it wasnt pulled until the 19th and that the installer was just notified today the 20th (Thursday) and had until Monday to call me. All the time trying to justify why there was nothing wrong with this. They wouldnt even try to make it right by asking the installer to call asap. I have never had to wait more than a day or two. Waiting over a week for a call to set up the installation absolutely unacceptable. Mind you the item was in stock. It takes 4 days to pull something from stock??? I also had to wait 20 minutes at the store before I was even waited on and o purchases 2700 in appliances and they gave the wrong phone number to the installation department.
I bought a bunch of flooring in the Lowes in Clifton Park and I had the pleasure of deaing with Vicky who was very helpful friendly and very patient on 3/15/19 around 430 pm. She made my experience there top notch.I would recommend dealing with Vicky for all flooring needs!!!
Bought a gazebo and patio set on 4/16, was told it would be delivered today on 4/21. Its now 3:45, call the store and somehow delivery is scheduled for 4/28. Waited home all day, Had made arrangements to have people here tomorrow to assemble it and guess what no one is here on the 28th. This is a massive gazebo 6 hours to assemble. Obviously not happy. Reviews complain about damage, obviously wont be here to point that out. GET YOUR DELIVERY DATE IN WRITING!!!
Ehhhh, where to start. Well first off, I got what I went in search for so thats something. However, you could tell they were understaffed and not very knowledgeable about their products. No CULL options, so dont even try it. Save yourself the gas and extra buck and just go to home depot.
ORDERED ONLINE, WAS SUPPOSED TO GET AN EMAIL WHEN THE ORDER WAS READY, WAITED 18 HOURS, COULDNT WAIT ANY LONGER, SHOWED UP AT STORE. TOLD ME SOMEONE WOULD BRING PRODUCT OUT, WAITED 25 MINS EMPLOYEE CAME OUT TO TELL ME THEY WERE SOLD OUT. ONLINE STILL SHOWED THAT THERE WERE PLENTY IN STOCK, IF THEY WERE OUT OF THE PRODUCT, WHY WOULD I NOT BE NOTIFIED? TRY TO GET A CREDIT, WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CREDIT ME AND EMAIL ME IN 30 MINS, 3 HOURS LATER, STILL NO EMAIL OR CREDIT. IF ONLINE ORDERING IS BROKE, WHY OFFER IT.
The only associates I saw where working down overhead back stock . Two of the associates in the light bulb asile were partially blocking the asile with a huge ladder and freight. There where numerous shopping carts in the tool area with cardboard, fixtures and fright. The seasonal area wasnt signed or priced well to reflect the clearance pricing. The lumber yard area had pallets of unworked and carts of garbage towards the rear of the department. The overhead PA kept calling for an additional cashier yet there where two young males ringing customers through. Didnt purchase anything and left for the Home Depot.
Called twice to find out if they had a particular item. First time, I spoke to the operator, who transferred me to a line that wasnt picked up after a minute. Second time, I told the operator about this, got transferred to a person who said, I dont know anything about that, maybe a different department. Not impressed.

2022-01-19Same price for similar products against depot. Always a better selection of niche products. They always look cleaner compared to depot but associates never greet or ask if you need help unless you ask for first.

2022-02-07Ive been looking for in line propane fuel filters and theyve been out of stock everywhere for a little while now. Finally found them online at Lowes website and ordered two of them late in the day and got notification early in the morning that my order was ready to pick up. It is the easiest thing to do contact free pickups this way. They give you a scan bar that opens a locker so you just grab your items right at the front door and youre on your way without having to interact with any people or even walk all the way into the store because theyre right there at the front entrance. I intend on doing more of my shopping this way whenever I have the opportunity.

2022-02-25If I could rate it a ZERO I WOULD ! The women in the customer service area were rude, flip, arrogant 😑 and hated the their job there. It was a ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience! Been to many many Lowes stores & never been treated so RUDLY ever in any of them. They literally threw your items in the bag as well. I did a online pick up order & 4 hours later got there and literally self shopped most of my own list. They were out of 3 out of my 8 items that said in stock online when I purchased them. Brought my order out to my vehicle by myself after being there for hours and realized one of the 2x4x8s I had purchased online was not there. I had to go back in and wait another 20 minutes in the customer service line ! 😒 TERRIBLE UNKNOWABLE RUDE SLOW HATE THEIR JOB EMPLOYEES.....BOTTOM OF THE BARREL STORE.....Update after a 1 hour ride home the quart of contact cement that was not purchased on the online order but paid for at the customer service counter was not in my bag. She never put it in ! Receipt in pic

2022-02-14Actually worked here for 3 months before I walked out as they kept forcing me to work in docking area, which is what I never signed up for. Overall the 3 month experience years ago was phenomenal, they even had a training to answer a phone. The company, as I have been told are not risk takers like their competition, home Depot, which is right across the street. They usually wait to see how new products work out at home Depot before they step into that market. The pricing is similar between the 2 stores, unless one of them has a clearance item or a big sale. My visit got me a 50 foot garden hose for $8, which I believe is a phenomenal deal. The staff was really friendly and proactive. I would have given them a 5 star, if not for my experience when I worked there and asking me to do thing I didnt sign up to do.

2022-05-15I love the two girls that work at the self checkout they make every trip wonderful. Now if they could hire some help and teach them a thing or two I would use Lowes for all my home improvement needs. I can never get help in that place. Its brutal..

2022-06-25Great store with great selection of products for any home. Staff were very friendly and courteous in asking what we needed and helping us find them. Staff gave suggestions on what we should do to meet our needs. Highly recommend going here for home improvement needs.

2022-04-08Blonde girl at customer service obviously irritated and inconvenienced. Regarding a cart. I think someone with better people skills should be in that position. Shes over it. And it shows. Im a manager and have been for 20 years in the auto industry. Dont ask for a survey from me today, thats for sure. Level 7 Google Guide review stings doesnt it?

2022-05-04We have had a long ongoing issue with a factory warrantee for a large appliance. When we took the issue to Lowes they helped us above and beyond to help correct the issue that wasn’t even their fault. Mark in appliance and the manager I dealt with Tina were awesome.

2022-06-14Customer service at the manager level is pretty terrible. We had an issue with a tankless water heater that was never received, spoke to 3 different managers, 3 separate times. No communication between them, they always said someone will call back. No call backs, no updates. Now we are out $1100 for a water heater. As a contractor we spend about $8k-10k a month here. After this experience we will be moving all of our business elsewhere.

2022-03-25I asked the clerk at the paint counter about where paint chemicals were shelved. I was looking for quarts of floetrol bc the gallons were out. I was told the quarts would be near the gallons, but they are in completely different areas. It would have been nice to have my question taken seriously and not be told something easy to get rid of me. I eventually found the location by looking it up on my phone.
