Omg love this place. You dont have to be a home owner to be here. They have lots of this to choose from. If you need cleaning products or bird food or storage items its there even if you are not the type for building something you can browse the store and you are bound to find something to spark your interest. Happy shopping just like me
Purchased a tub this morning turned out to be the wrong one in the box. When I returned it I ran into Jessica who help me the first time. She was fantastic first up she remembered me getting the tub then she helped me return the tub looked up the stock to make sure they had the one I needed then got it for me and walked me over the the checkout and got me a discount for all my troubles. Wanted to write this review to show how much I appreciated all her efforts.THANK JESSICA.
My fiance was sitting at the order pick up line and there is no one available to assist. He tried to do curbside and was told that they would be right out with our order. He waited 10 minutes and still no item was brought out so he called back and the same guy told him it would be helpful if he could just come in and pick up the order because they were too busy. When he got inside the store, he was standing behind another customer at the pick up order desk for about 15 minutes. No one was even over there to assist him so he ended up leaving. He called the store after and the same guy answered the phone and was extremely rude and uncaring that he just wasted our time trying to pick up an order. The next day he received an email from this Lowes saying that the order was cancelled. When we checked online, it was showing 13 of the item in stock at this location. This is a joke, calling corporate on this location. They do not care about their customers, they wasted our time and kept playing games. This is no way to run a business. Ill shop at Home Depot next time I want something done right.
Ya. Next time go to home depot. Self check out sucks and trying to get all your items on the same time suck more. I keep coming in and tried it again and found the next day there was a huge line with only self check out open. The cashier helping the self check didnt know how to fix issues and only 3 out of 4 were working. I will avoid Lowes at all costs.
These people are not customer friendly they accuse for stealing and they are rude and when I try calling the manager and tell him what happened he hanged upLike what I try to purchase was not a damaged or messed around withI was walking around and some lady that worked there asked me what am I looking for and I told her what I was looking for but I found it instead so I walked away and she accused me for stealing like sorry that you couldnt help me to find what I was looking for I found it faster anyways
AMAZING CUSTOMER HELP! Jim in appliances was great, he was super funny and gave us great help. We were looking at 2 washing machines that were on a Black Friday sale and Jim helped us pick the best for us, while adding some jokes in as well. Would highly recommend if you are buying something from this Lowes you have to have Jim help you hes great!
The return policy for anyone who legitimately can’t locate a cash receipt is go scratch yourself. An item in pristine unopened condition has no bearing to them. Consumers have many choices and all I can do at this point is exercise mine and avoid doing anything further with Lowe’s. “Can’t do anything for you” is said too conveniently and without any genuine empathy
The lowes protection plan sucks. My refrigerator stopped working suddenly, I had a 5 year warranty on it. I called and they sent a man to come look at it, he claims there was nothing wrong. I had no refrigerator for about a month because of this place. I do not recommend buying any appliance from lowes.
Terrible. They ripped of my perfect roof of 30 yrs & put on 1 that leaks soo bad it is rotting the support beam. THEY REFUSE TO LOOK AT IT DESPITE A 50 YR WARRANTY ON OWEN CORNING SHINGLES. Cost $10,000 with interest!! Now I have to pay again to have someone fix there shoddy work. Took advantage of single mom senior!! Go elsewhere. A 4 yr old roof should not be leaking so bad the beam is rotting UNLESD THEY DID SOMETHING WRONG!! HAVE CONSUMER COMPLAINT FORM. Pull down my post as often as u like. I will post again so other consumer WILL BE WARNED OF YOUR PRACTICES!!
I never had to work so hard to spend $500. I checked Lowe’s website for a specific wood pellet grill and it showed the Medford store had 5 in stock. I get to the store go to the garden section and see an associate. I ask him about a grill I saw on display then said, I would like to get the pit boss 820 pellet grill, associate says sorry we have only what’s on display, I said the website showed 5 in stock and showed him the website on my phone and asked if he could check inventory, his response was: I’ve been here two years I know it’s not here. I said ok started walking away and the grill was on the display floor In boxes for sale. Horrible customer service. Then I asked the same associate yo help me load the 200lb box to my car and he says let them know at the register you need help. I go to the register, tell them, the page an associate, ask me if I asked an associate in the department, I told them I did, 15 min later same sales associate came up to help load the grill. Bottom line is the guy is a horrible employee.
Went here recently to buy a brand new door and window. Now, youd think Lowes would be happy to make this sale. We were greeted by a grumpy old curmudgeon of a man who was the only sales person we could find to help us. He basically told us that his shift was over in five minutes and that he did not want to help us. When we told him that it was fine, wed prefer someone else who wasnt in a rush to go home to help us, he basically told us there was no one else. We left and went to Home Depot in Patchogue, where we were greeted by 3 employees willing to help us out and we bought french doors and a window there. I would never go back to this Lowes for anything, even if it is 5 minutes from my home!
There was only one person working in the plumbing when I needed to get a piece for my shower Because it was leaking Then I asked another associate for help and that they said that they could not help me and that I should go to the patch are home depot where I would get actual help very disappointed a new homeowner in the area not a great way to start
This store claims to have price matching but they have many excuses for not doing it. I tried to purchase a paint sprayer and home depot sold it for about 30 dollars cheaper and so did Amazon. Same name brand and description. It even had the same model number. . When they scanned the sticker on the box it came up with their own number and said the number I was looking at was a part number. When I asked to speak to a manager he conveniently just left for a lunch break and might be back in an hour. I would have bought it at home depot but they did not have it in stock.
Worst customer service.... and the manger from the delivery department is Useless... dont buy appliances from them they have no clue on delivery dates just Guesstimate dates....They tell you one thing and it something else... Medford new york location is horrible and unprofessional.....go to Home Depot.... at least they will get it right.....
Hello, is anybody out there? I visited this store on June the 30th for the first time. My initial impression was that it appeared clean, organized, and there was a nice selection of items. I had a list of things I needed so I started with one and asked an employee where I may locate a light cover. He sent me to the electrical section and I looked and looked but could not find what I needed. I then looked for an employee and guess what? I could not find any of those either. I thought maybe it was Hide and Seek hour at Lowes so I said ready or not here I come but still nobody. AND THEN a Lowes employee walked by so I said excuse me, May I ask you a question? But apparently that WAS my question because she replied with (and I kid you not) I just got in but Ill get you someone. Um, so you just got to work but you cant work? Ok, cool. So, she never got me anyone. I looked again and found a young man who said that he would get me someone. Everyone is getting someone, another type of game, like a duck, duck, goose but nobody was it. I said the last person said they were going to get me someone but never did. He said youll hear the page, just listen. I listened and he did what he said BUT guess what (some of you know where Im going with this?) Nobody showed up. He (Anthony) came back to check to see if anyone arrived to assist me and when there wasnt anyone he stepped up and did the right thing. Anthony is a young man with a very good head on his shoulders. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable, bright, and willing to go the extra mile for the customer. He helped me locate all of the items on my list and even found a manager to assist with the item that we could not find. Anthony should lead the team when it comes to providing excellent customer service. He is going to be very successful in all areas of his life. I would give him five stars but the overall experience does not deserve a five star rating. Anthony asked important questions to make sure that I purchased the correct size items. I had mentioned that I was an actor and he was so sweet about it and said he had never met a famous person before. Anthony, when I make it big I will come back with a nice gift for you. I recommend that he teach your customer services classes. And hide and seek is over, you can all come out now.
Lowes Medford NY. I try not to shop there when I can avoid it. Im going to have to try harder. They have fired or let go all their qualified staff. Now their hired help must be a full on revolving door of the lowest paid least qualified people. Four associates I spoke with today couldnt help me one bit in finding a simple transition piece. One, an elderly man working there just to collect a minimum wage paycheck apparently, told me it wasnt his area, and Here, here they are as he kept walking back to lumber or wherever he hides.With new Floor and Decor superstores opening up around your tired old Blue Dinosaurs, Lowes, expect to be squeezed out all together. Maybe convert the flooring department into a new Gym. Those are popular now.I remember when Lowes was still trying to complete with Home Depot. Now Lowes stores are mostly empty OF customers, and stand very tired. Like a big old animal at the end of its life, any glory days long long forgotten. Time to put the old boy down.RIP
This store is the best! The staff is so helpful even though they are incredibly busy at this time, which can be very stressful for all of them. They helped me even when a mistake was made. The manager was extremely understanding and so personable. They went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. This is why I continue to be a loyal Lowes customer at this Medford location. You can always find someone in the store in every department to help you and answer any questions you may have. I buy everything from there from appliances to vegetables for my garden. Havent been disappointed yet.
Store is clean, neat, usually well stocked. Associates are polite. My issue with that location is the history of short staffing, especially the customer service and order pickup areas. If you order online and plan to pick it up at the store, dont be surprised if youre waiting a while for assistance. Its happen to me several times the past year or two. One, maybe two associates at the counter; one organizing returned merchandise or some other type of busy work and the other manning phone inquiries. And you wait, and wait...and wait.
This is for Medford Lowe’s. November 19th at 630pm. No one in the store wants to help anyone. They all send you on a wild goose chase to the next person. It says online they have 364 left of the item I need. Literally no one would help. I’m so frustrated. This is not the first time this happened. I had to leave with nothing.
There is NEVER enough ppl behind the counter or to help you with questions. Oh and Nobody cares when your ordering something online for pickup, call Ahead as an FYI and ask them to have the item pulled down off the shelf and on the floor ready to be carried out because I will have my 1year old nice with me in the car along with my 98 year old Nona.
The associate that was helping us was terrible when I didnt want the vanity top that she took out it had a yellow mark in the marble. The associate told me she will open one more If there was anything wrong with it that i didnt like I can take it or leave it she was an opening anymore. Tomorrow I will go to Lowes in Stony Brook maybe the associates on more helpful.
Purchased 10 interior doors and at different times I went to pick them up. Each time the staff tried to hand off at least 1 obvious broken door. The last time I waited for a manager that never showed up. The Rumor is that Lowe’s is the superior product, but I will stick to the Coram Home Depot and the threat of being mugged .
I am extremely displeased, as apparently Lowes no longer accepts wireless payment using Samsung pay, Apple pay, nor Android pay. Samsung pay ALWAYS worked at Lowes! Ive been using it daily for about 5 years now. Its extremely convenient and its accepted by 95% of the credit card terminals I encounter. Im so confident that I usually dont carry plastic with me at all anymore.Apparently Lowes card terminals have been downgraded, and although they recognize the electronic transmission, they no longer complete the process. Its either that or its employees are completely incompetent.Too late to run home for cash, the management at Lowes shrugs at their inability to process my payment and losing my sale.Its 2020 folks. We should be moving forward, not backwards!Two stars for having what I needed. Too bad I couldnt take them home.
Bought a gift card for niece and nephew house warming gift. Card was lost. Was given the run around by first being told by the Medford branch that I could go to any Lowe’s to have Matter taken care of. Went to the Garden city which is closer to my home. They told me I need to call the 800#. That’s was a waste of time. Then I call the 800 # who said they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have the card #. Of course I didn’t have the card #, it’s lost. I did have the receipt, but there system can’t do anything with that. They said I had to go back to the Medford branch. So I drove 50 plus miles to be told that it had a zero balance. But they couldn’t tell me what time or day it was used. They said someone would get back to me. Of course that did not happen. I had to call, only to be hung up on when no one answered the transferred call. Poor customer service. Back to Home Depot it is.
I go here alot and normally dont have an issue.Today I walked in 20 min before closing, and had to hunt the guy in electrical down to ask a question.After being called to my isle on the loudspeaker, the guy (older guy with facial hair and glasses and a hat) strolled down my isle like he was ona coffee break and barley acknowledged me.I had to ask him if he was called to the isle for me in order for me to receive help from the guy.Then after I asked him a question he stopped me, sarcastically looked at his wrist watch and said and I quote Your asking alot of questions 5 minutes before closing time, I have other customers to helpReally now?!?!I informed the manager before I left.WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE.Dont worry...If you dont want to give me the service I deserve,Ill put you on blast and find a way to get you fired because Im not gonna be tolerating this BS any longer.Ill be your Mother Fukin Hucklebee if nobody else will... 😉
Normally I would shop at Loews because I was under the impression that there was great customer service. There is not. I came to this Loews to make a purchase that I could have made at any other supply store and I’m greatly offended. I stood online for about 5 minutes behind a woman that had many issues at check out. The self check out line was half closed by a gate. So I went to the half that was not closed by a gate. Once I was almost completely checked out, one of the nasty workers came to me and says “can’t you see it’s closed”. Instead of going back and forth with the employee regarding the gate I asked politely if she could ring me up at a register considering there was a woman having issues at check out. The woman walked over to a register and said I’m opening over here. Instead of assisting with my purchase she walked over to a register and spitefully started ringing a long line of people. Shocked I left the cart there and went to Home Depot. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I pass 5-7 Home Depot’s in a day, I was going to Loew’s by choice. I will not be returning to this Loews or any other Loews. If you want to do better as a company please hire better employees. I will be reaching out to the contractors across Long Island regarding this as well.
I like Home Depot better than Lowes! Their moldings only come in shorter lengths than Home Depot. I always use 16 for all of my trim work which Lowes doesnt carry . I only like 1 seam(splice) on any wall for crown or base . And when its a high end job I go to the lumberyard where theres hundreds of profiles to choose from and I can get poplar, pine or mahogany. Lowes is overpriced.
Went to Medford store today for a window screen. Asked a young fellow at the Window And Door desk after not finding any anywhere. Was told they did not carry them. Let me repeat that. Medford did NOT carry them. I was referred to the guy sitting about 8 ft. away so I could order one. He told me he couldn’t order it .... wait a minute, the guy sitting next to him told me... he berates the young guy telling me he doesn’t work in that department. I said can I order one online? He dismisses me with a yes.Neither of these two people who are sitting at the Customer Service desk bothered to tell me another store might have the item and let me think I had to go through ordering one online.One star is too many, but you. Can’t write a review without one.
1) Tried calling customer service for curbside pickup ten times over 30 minutes - no response.2) Tried calling four other departments in hopes of reaching someone over an additional 15 minutes - no response.3) Customers walking out the doors without CDC-recommended masks on - no security nor employees there to ask why they dont have masks on.4) Customers walking in through the doors without CDC-recommended masks on - no security nor employees there to ask why they dont have masks on.5) Employees loading good into customer vehicles while wearing no masks and breaking recommended distancing precautions.6) The order took approximately eight hours from order to notification that it was ready to be picked up (hey... They might be busy or understaffed, I get it). After cancelling my order, Home Depot in Shirley had it ready in less than 20 minutes and I know theyre running reduced staff and are following CDC guidelines.... What else can I say?
I always use the Home Depot down Route 112 but today I was near Lowes and I wanted to check them out. They have basically all the same types of things but just different brands and roughly the same size store. I only gave it 2 stars because while the store is nice, the staff are very lazy and I asked three questions about some electrical things and I had to literally walk back to the 2 guy talking and yawning 6 Isles over 3 times because he wouldnt come over and help me or have someone help me. In Home Depot they always walk you over to where you need and literally grab it off the shelf and hand it to you. Home Depot is much better.
Ordered door online to be picked up at Medford. Recieved a confirmation email. When i went there i was told by a nasty person at the counter that i was supposed to pick up in patchogue. I tried to buy the door there and cancel the patchogue order but they couldnt find it although they supposedly had several in stock. When i got home i double checked the order and it said to pick up at Medford with the store number. I called and a manager said they didnt have it so the pick up was changed to patchogue. I was never notified of the change and i would think they would ship the door to where i ordered it, not have me drive to another store!
The pros desk morning crew are very friendly and helpful. Joanne, Erick, Linda and tony are the best. The guy at the tile and door department are very helpful also when I need materials brought down from the shelves. I can’t say the same about all the other employees, they usually walk around with a nasty attitude and god forbid you ask for guidance.Shoutout to the pro team at the medford Lowe’s.
Im not sure why they cant keep wood decking in stock, but it seems to be an issue with all Long Island locations right now. Anyway, the inventory listed online does not match the inventory listed in the stores system, which also doesnt match the actual inventory in the store. Its especially frustrating when being sent there from the commack location to pickup product, only to find the actual quantity is zero. The staff were generally helpful and apologetic.
Last time I went here we were looking for kitchen faucets and we ask an employee where they would be located. He pointed to the back end of the store and said over there so we had to ask not one but TWO MORE EMPLOYEES where they were until someone with half a brain told us. This specific location is really dirty and unsanitary. Sure they wiped for sanitation purposes but they just smeared the dirt all over. You can even see all the fingerprints on everything now since eventing youd need to touch while checking out is covered in a layer of grime. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they have a better indoor plant selection than home depot.
Very clean store and the customer service is top notch.Update customer service has dropped like a rock from your hand.I waited 10 minutes for someone NOT come into the outdoor equipment area to answer a question. So I walked over to the guy selling roofs at the front door who tried to help but that was a waste of time. I ended up walking out totally disgusted.
My experience at Lowes in Medford New York was unsatisfactory. I brought in two old screens and had them measured to replace with new screens. After waiting 3 weeks I picked them up and one of the screens was the wrong size. To say that the service was unsatisfactory and incompetent is an understatement.
I love coming to this store, I am very well-known at the store, I have to say that the staff there are amazing, the way they take care of the customers it’s outstanding, I have to mention one of your employees, Gerry, She is amazing to talk to, lovely personality, as a Veteran from the US military, not everyone I can relate to, but this woman here Gerry,Treats you with the upmost respect, I want her to know that she is very much appreciated.
The man that helped us could not be more attentive. We just bought two garage doors. Two young men helped me put them into the back of the Yukon.I want to thank Lowes for the parking place. Veterans parking and the discount that is given to Veterans.So a very big Thank you to Lowes and their employees
Prices are ridiculous high. Went to purchase a lawn aerator, they were $50.00 more than Home depot. They state that they will beat any price...Untrue, they matched the price but would not beat it. 16lb of Preen 17.97. Home depot 16.67. I can go on but I wont. If you like spending more of your hard earned money Lowes will gladly take it.
Consistently unreliable delivery and extremely rude.This is the second time I have ordered, via at-home delivery, from this store in which this particular store did not deliver in time. In this particular case, we received a confirmation call that everything is on schedule two days prior to delivery and that we will receive a call the day before delivery with a 2 hour window. That never happened. We were told we have to wait until 9pm before we need to call and request the information they failed to share. So we did and called at 9:05pm. We were shockingly told our order was postponed but no reason noted for the postponement. Thats unprofessional. We called back at 9:30pm to speak with their manager, only to be yelled at as if we were acting as belligerent as she was. We found this unprofessional considering that we were calm on our end regardless of their error. I am betting she was too focused on getting out of the building asap as they were to close in less than 30 minutes from the call. After being mistreated and told they can not correct the schedule back, we asked her to cancel the order. The manager acknowledge she canceled the order and then hung-up in a huff! Needless to say, I called MyLowes (the Lowes online store) and asked to verify that the order was indeed canceled. No surprise...It was not! The friendly and courteous lowes associate helped us properly cancel the order. Furthermore, she helped me file a corporate complaint against the store and the offensive manager. (I am keeping names out of this review for respect of privacy). I took a day off for that shipment only to learn my shipment was not coming. It was too late to restore my working schedule that late in the evening too. If you are ordering large lumber material from Lowes, chances are you are a DIYer who has a busy life not open to any day for delivery at the discretion of the store. Do not trust this store. They are horrible. On the other hand, the Bayshore store has always been friendly and accurate. I recommend you shop at any other Lowes but definitely not the Medford branch. Otherwise, go with the orange store. I find them to be kinder at all branches I have visited so far...unlike Lowes.

I asked the guy by the pella doors if he could get someone to help me in plumbing, his reply was no , there hasnt been anyone there in 3 days, I couldnt find what I needed went to customer service, she paged a manager 3 times ,I told her I would go back to aisle 14 and keep looking she told me she would have the Manager meet me there,never did but the clown in doors was complaining about customers bothering him for help in plumbing, he was cursing, that didnt bother me, I guess he needs to know the customers pay his salary, will shop at lowes in bayshore.

Could not get anyone to help me took 40 mins. Then they did not have it called ahead to have it ready at another store ended up getting it myself because the lazy people that were working at the service desk could not be bothered. And I am a contractor that buys alot and I will never go there again.
Got what I needed, or so I thought. When I arrived home the package of 4 had been stolen from and was a package of 2. Its not LOWES fault; its a symptom of the location and its clientele. I like LOWES, but Medford is a dump, Ill travel further out of the way to visit LOWES next time.
My wife and I were at lowes in Medford this afternoon. We were there to purchase an oven, a microwave, and a dish washer. Your employee was showing us each of the items and setting up a delivery date. Another customer come over and asked a question. Your employee stop working with us and went to help the other customer. I was told I would have to wait until he was finished before he could return to us. We purchased a refrigerator from lowes last week, but I dont think I will return to lowes again.
Wednesday - Visited Lowes to schedule a measuring. They said I had to pick out floors before scheduling a measuring, but I can change them later. The associate (Maria) made two suggestions (laminate/carpet) as place holders. There were signs everywhere saying measuring is free, but they could not figure out how to honor the promotion. They had to get management involved and it took them about 45 minutes to figure it out, and they ended up charging $.01 cent because the system wouldnt let them put in the free measuring promotion. Then they could not schedule the measuring because the system was down.Thursday - I called the next day to schedule the measuring, and the person I spoke to told me I cant schedule it because I didnt pay! Ay, yai, yai...he finally found the .01 measuring order and told me to call the contractor (Gemini) directly to schedule the measuring, which I did. The contractor told me to call back after 11, which I did, and then successfully scheduled the measuring.Saturday - The measuring too place without a hitch. Shout out to Vito.Tuesday - I called Gemini to ask for clarification on next steps. They said I would hear from Lowes.Wednesday - I called Lowes to confirm they received the measuring. I was told that even if they did, they have to work it up which they have not done yet and they only have one flooring specialist on staff...and he isnt in today...or tomorrow... I asked if I can have my measurements transferred to another store and they told me no. A second manager (Neil) got involved and told me I can come after 5 and someone with more experience will be able to help me (Maria).Wednesday Evening - I came to the store and they worked up my order based on the placeholder floors that were selected. When the price was obscenely higher than expected, we decided to change some of the rooms to carpet instead of laminate. I was then told it had to be remeasured by Gemini. They promised they would FAX the request to them that night and I should be able to buy flooring the next day once the rework the measurements.Thursday - I called Gemini to confirm they received the remeasure request, and they said they did not. And that they dont even receive faxes at all.Thursday Morning - I called Lowes and talked to Bill. Bill tells me he is not familiar with the system but he will try to figure something out. I said that does not work for me so please connect me with a manager. I held for 5 minutes and talked to a third manager(Lisa). Lisa tells me they will do their best, but 2 of their flooring specialists are out for extended periods of time (pregnancy / surgery). She also could not tell me when Gemini will get the remeasure request. I asked her to call me back either way later today and she said someone would call me back. Sigh... Bill calls me back and says he put it in the system and Gemini will get it...in 24-48 hours. So here we are about 8 days removed from my first visit and still have been unable to even place an order for carpet. I called Gemini and they said even after they get it and rework the measurement, they have to put it back into the system and it can take 24-48 hours for Lowes to get it.I will probably have time to get a second price from another company before my first price comes in, so Ill update this review once the saga comes to an end.
Helpful associates and plenty of available choices, but most of the time what was recommended were unneeded and incorrect product choices and wrong items to buy. Aggravating and waste of time and money; violating to a non professional. But wrong recommendations were just made due to their ignorance and not knowing, not fraudulently.
Incompetent!! Do yourself a favor, dont use this location. The manager Jim ( top secret last name) is useless. 4 trips to get an estimate i pre paid for and all they can say is sorry, i dont know how to work the computer system.NEVER AGAIN, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GO TO HOME DEPOT UP THE ROAD.
Well stocked for electric work they have ⬛D panels mostly but have the plug on neutral arc fault system in stock which Ive yet to c in any home depot in ◼D or Eatons c.h. line which is what home depot mostly stocks also they have #6 n #4 green stranded wire for water pipe grounding n ground rods which is another thing I cant find at most home depots .. they alil pricey on e.m.t. n p.v.c. conduit s but their p.v.c. is stocked in sizes up 3,3 1/2 n 4 inch pipe n they also have wide range of fittings for those sizes ... so again it a good stop for electrical materials n their tool section is great n easy to get to right inside the front n right in for of the electric aisle
Ordered a door from commack to be delivered in medford.came to medford to pick it up..woman at customer service asked if I ordered on line..I said I ordered in store.she said if u ordered in commack for medford delivery..they ordered it online...OK..I just want my door...she was extremely rude because I didnt know it was ordered online by a lowes worker in the store....REALLY..is it that serious...to make matters worse..the door was damaged!!!dont think I will do much business here..I will gladly pay extra for good customer service...I look at my credit card statement, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR ANOTHER DOOR!!! never got a refund!! Are you kidding me..
I don’t even know why I come here anymore. Biggest complaint is that they never have any lumber carts. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve came in with a big list of lumber and spent about 10min looking for a cart and there’s none available. Taking my business elsewhere.
Waited 20 minutes for someone to respond to my request for help getting shades cut. No one came after numerous calls over the PA system and a request by the front desk. Finally left without my shades. Will go somewhere else tomorrow. Loews customer service is terrible.

2022-05-02Customer service (5-2-22) without the service:Attempted to purchase three boxes ($8.98) of the product shown in the attached photo - of the actual display … I’ll skip all the drama of what should have been a 5 minute in-n-out trip to Lowes and simply end with the conclusion: The Customer Service representative took the defensive position that their ENTIRE display was mismatched/ mis-marked AND that all the ACTUAL product contained on the shelf was in fact on the shelf with no corresponding price tags.This Route 112 store is in dire need of some qualified assistance. I’m not crying out loud - The customers always right, but the photo speaks to my issue with this organization. Customer Service? What exactly does that mean to the management team of this store???Your interface representative to my problem kept using a hand-held scanner and scanned/rescanned products and display tags, as if waiting for the numbers to magically change.I learned nothing from this trip except walking into the Long Island NY store located on Route 112 was simply a waste of time and supports the argument of why it’s just plain easier to order online …

2022-02-22The delivery experience is mediocre at best. I wasnt able to talk to anyone competent. There were always different answers and I had made a large delivery purchase. They explained that some of the items were out of stock. I explained that was fine but I would need them to at least ship what they had in stock. Despite several times saying yes they can send what they got nothing showed up and the excuses change. I eventually cancelled the order and manually got what I could with my small car. We then re ordered and successfully shipped the few items I desperately needed and that they had in live stock. I like the stores products and selection so I was not happy with this process. I dont understand the communication failure but it would seem the people in the store and the delivery people are two completely different functions and frankly dont speak to each other. Also I found out they all of this that the delivery people are only there in the early morning so if you call in the afternoon there is no way to get a good answer from them.

2022-06-11Went today for outdoor materials. These cashiers they hire really need training in customer service. This isnt burger King where Im laying down $10.Orion the cashier is better suited collecting carts where theres no customer interaction. The one she went to for help who had no name tag, is just as bad. This us why I try to go to the smaller guys.

2022-04-30As a military veteran/current member stick to Home Depot. Apparently showing a valid military ID with my picture is not good enough proof of my service at Lowes. You must register online first and use a registered phone number, and not even show your id to get the discount..... This is a ridiculous rule for the store, and if they can have a policy that who knows what other nonsensical rules they have.Both stores offer the same thing, but when I show a valid military ID with my name and picture to Home Depot I get recognized as a military member. Seems to make too much sense to me.

2022-03-30Hard to find help. Inventory is lacking, compared to the Home Depot. Prices are at least several dollars more than the Home Depot. I only go there because I live nearby. 9 times out of 10 I wind up going to the Home Depot in Coram. Quite dissatisfied with Lowes on a whole. They were great when they opened. Now its totally different. Staff cutbacks and indifference of employees makes it unpleasant to shop there!

2022-05-23Probably the worst retail experience I’ve ever had. Between waiting outside for 30 minutes for the person with keys to the wheel barrow twirls their fingers in the back (paged multiple times) to their shipping fulfillment fiasco where they rescheduled delivery multiple times.If youre a lowes shareholder and wondering why the stock price is doing poorly, this store is the reason why.

2022-02-10Every time I come here and need help everyone acts like they don’t know what they are doing or the higher up positions like the manager can’t be bothered to do a simple task like grab a key for a propane tank case that I already paid for . Very disappointed in the customer service. I also needed a tv bracket that was on sale and couldn’t locate it because the sticker was placed on a random shelf even though there was stock marked on their website. When I asked for help I was gave the run around and told that’s not “their” department.

2022-06-08I’m usually a fan of Lowes, however I usually shop at their East Patchogue location— always find what I need, when I need it, and if I don’t, there’s always someone close by to help me out with whatever I need…not the case in their Medford store. The employees were looking at the same app as I was and couldn’t help me out with more than what I already knew…one employee who I was told could help me out, literally avoided eye contact and pretended to be busy on the phone for more than ten minutes, without ever speaking to anyone, and when I finally was able to ask my question— I got a “nope,” and back to the phone he went. I found what I needed on my own, with no help from anyone that worked there…the only reason I gave them two stars is cause they had some pretty stellar clearance items like my two new black light party bulbs for less than a buck each; solid deal if you ask me…but don’t ask the employees cause apparently they don’t know anyway.

2022-04-15The Medford Lowes is the worst home improvement store I’ve ever been in. Over the past year my experience at this store has been nothing is in the right spot (so no kidding the inventory is always off), when you walk down an isle an see an associate they scatter like cockroaches to avoid helping you (it’s painfully obvious when you see them run), if you are struggling to load plywood into a cart don’t expect a hand that’s when the staff will sadly lose their hearing. And when you do get some help they say “oh we can’t special order items for you, you have to do that online yourself.” But then when you do and wait for your order they will cancel it so you have to start all over again WITH NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY! Judging by their work ethic they just don’t want to have to be bothered.If the Medford Lowes is close to you and you need to grab something that you will not need any help from the staff nor will be disappointed when they don’t have it in stock, then go ahead and shop there. But if you need a help of any kind or REALLY need the part it’s worth driving further away to a different store.
