Lowes was another great place to shop and get lost in all the great things they have! The items I was looking for were all there and a lot more that I thought I might want to have lol! The customer service was knowledgeable and friendly, what more can you ask for! This is a great place for all kinds of awesome tools and hardware with all kinds of materials to use them on! Then there is the appliances and many other things, too many things! lol But go check it out and make sure you price watch!
Lowes has consumer home improvement, its nice but they dont carry everything you need. Ive had issues with their hand tools not being up to snuff.The more often I go, the more I realize I go purely because it is closest. Product quality is sub par, but while that is in manufacturing... Lowes could choose not to carry poor quality
Terrible Terrible customer service. Twice they said that they had a refrigerator in stock amd twice they did not and I had to get my money back because I need a new fridge now not in November. This time 2 weeks ago they said my fridge would be here on Thursday between 2 and 6. I took a half day off of work amd not only did they not show up they didnt even bother to call to say that they werent coming. After calling them I was informed that they made a mistake (once again) and I would have my fridge in November. I CANT WAIT TIL THEN... So I went and got my money returned. It was the next day before I compared receipts and saw that they did not refund the warrenty that I paid for and I had to go back again.NEVER AGAIN LOWES. YOU LOST A CUSTOMER FOR GOOD.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING!!!
I used to only shop at Home Depot but their customer service tanked so I changed to Lowes. I have been happy for the most part. Until now that is. We ordered new kitchen cabinets. My contractor started the install to find that mistakes were made in ordering. We were able to make adjustments for the most part. We needed skins for 2 cabinets. We have been waiting 2 months for them. We call to check on the status to be told the vendor is behind. I called again 2 weeks ago and spoke with a different person in kitchen cabinets. He actually called the vendor to find out that there were errors in the ordering process and they never received the order. I still havent received them. Today I tried to call to speak with a manager. After being hung up on 3 times, I was never able to speak with one because they wouldnt answer the phone. Needless to say after spending 14k on cabinets, getting a little help fixing their mistakes would be nice.
I was arriving early to get before the traffic rush and as I was walking I saw a heavier set employee black hair and glasses and he looked as if he had items under the coat he was wearing and when the employee noticed my gaze he met it with menacing threats and gesture and scurried off to a grey car, figured I’d do my part and let you know
Well let me first start out by saying that all green houses that I went to within the past week, the plants look horrible. Underwatered. Unorganized. And not the best variety available. That being said, Lowes did have the best price on the plans that I was looking for, fairly healthy looking and good color selection. The only drawback for not getting five stars is the checkout was horrific. It wasnt the cashier it was the length of the line and the fact that they only had one cashier. At this time of year you need more than one cashier in the garden department. I did feel sorry for the cashier because everybody was getting a big grumpy and of course theyre going to take it out on her. She did the best she could with the amount of people that were in the line.
I am on my second snowblower in 4 weeks. my father has to drive up from fredonia so we can load it up on his truck, as i do not own a truck. the first snowblower had belt issues, so we brought it back. The second snowblower was missing bolts that kept wires off of the muffler, so i drove back to lowes and picked up the bolts and put them on my self. one week later, the snow shoot has shot off just missing me(assuming the person put it together with zero care, and you guessed it, bolts came off). I called and explained, they said i can rent a truck. I asked if they would waive the fee since i have been there 3 times now the last two because YOUR employees did a sub par job putting it together. of course they said, no, but its only 19$. needless to say, the junk will go back once i have my father drive up from Fredonia. Great job on customer retention. Lets hope home depot is a little better at this. make sure you fully inspect anything they put together.
I would give them 5 stars because they got my appliances super fast for me. But when my dishwasher came in, I called they told me it was there to be picked up. I got to the store (45 min drive) and they didnt have it. Said the truck broke down. So not sure why they said it was there... Anyway other than that they were awesome.
The customer service here is the only reason I wont give a one star rating for this Lowes store. Store staff was exceptional, friendly, and helpful. But the parking lot is a mess, extra traffic from other stores. Inside the store the aisles are packed full of stupid merchandise displays leaving little room to travel, and other shopper traffic makes it a nightmare. A lot of merchandise is damaged and the stock of available wood was of poor quality.
Purchased a ceiling fan and found 2 stripped screws on the motor. Took the motor back and was immediately assisted by a female manager and salesperson. They opened a new box and replaced the motor. I was out in 10 minutes. Excellent customer service! Orchard Park, NY store.
I went in for lumber, their stock was minimal at best, the help & customer service was worse. I had 2 catch up to an employee & ask for his help & he told me that he was helping someone else already & continues walking away from me!! He didnt offer to call or find someone else for me either! Just left me standing there.
Absolutely horrible. I needed rubber washers. Two young men were sitting in the lumber area. I asked where to find them. The one said area 2. I walked all the way to there, only metal washers. Asked another employee where to find them. He said area 16 bay 2. Back across the store, not there either. Gave up from now on Ill go to Valu home center they are much more helpful.
Just a quick thank you to Ken in Appliances. We were looking for a new clothes dryer, and he was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He made sure what we wanted was available with a work ethic rarely seen anymore. With Kens expertise and just a little bit of luck ;-), we got exactly what we needed and wanted.
Returned a 5 gal redeemable water bottle. The machine where they want you to return them is broken. Has been broken for at least a year. They want you to stand at customer service and get a ticket for the return. Busy Saturday, figured I could just skip the line and tell the cashier I returned a bottle and just need a refill. They have a barcode at the register that they can scan. Went to the self check out and explained. Gave me attitude as soon as I asked. Told her to check the cameras if she thinks Im lying. Not my fault that your machine is broken. Why would I need to stand in line for a ticket to by one 5 gallon refill on a $6 purchase. I go to this store multiple times a week and have spent thousands at all the Lowes in the area. Stated that she wouldnt check the camera for a $6 purchase. Then why are you giving me an issue? She did it anyway. Nice customer service.
Fantastic place for dogs!! My dog loves going here and is always given sooo many treats. The workers all love seeing her and they have nice concrete floors so if there’s an accident it’s easy to clean up. Nice selection of products and it’s great that I can shop with my dog! 100% dog friendly
Worked there as an outside vendor, always had a problem. Staff was rude, impossible to work with except the guy in charge of the grills and an older guy who literally runs around the store all day and the store manager. The rest of the staff definitely have the wrong job as they would yell obscenities at me, ignore customers. The biggest instance of this was them ignoring a 9 year old because they didnt want to take two mins to help him. The kid left with his guardian who was waiting in the car for him without the rubber mulch he needed for his playground
Im alittle disappointed and mad !!! My Boyfriend came in and bought a electric fireplace today and asked for a military discount and was told you have to be in the system !!! I Cant Believe That He Was Turned Down 👎. Home Depot ..has no problem giving him his discount !! Like they have it on their driver license...That isnt enough !!! I Think Your Policy Stinks And Pretty Sad To Turn Them Down After All They Did For Us !!! I guess he wont be back to do anymore business !!! Pretty Sad .
If youre in orchard park, go the extra 5 mins to the west seneca home depot. This place has nobody that knows anything everyone is a cashier and the service is trash. Its mainly for elderly people who like to walk around getting their laps in. No knowledge of anything thats in the store or applications of products they sell, consistently just hot garbo.
I waited 20+ minutes in an empty store for help someone came from a different dept was very nice but nothing in stock, went to Orvilles 5 minutes later, was helped immediately, in stock and delivery tomorrow, Orvilles exceeded my expectations, go see Alex at Orvilles, dont waste your time at Lowes
Awful bought a product called gemstone it came without a corner piece I needed to get started this was back in July. Went back to the store waited over an hour for the pro to dig through the warehouse. Of course not there, they assured me they would get it and call me. Well no call and the pro doesnt answer when I call them it is now almost October and 1600.. bucks later stuck!
Unbelievable!! After not being able to scan a case of 2 cycle fuel, the red need assistance light starts blinking... no problem... but, after about 30 seconds I see an employee literally just standing there so I ask do you work here?.. after diana punched in some numbers and couldnt get it to register, for about another 2 minutes shes basically standing there amd staring at the product, no managers coming, nothing.....So I walked out and said Ill come back so e other time
I like Lowes but today the service helpers where not good.It was not that busy and I was picking up a craftsman rolling tool box. I told the guy I have 2 broken toes Im in a boot and have screws in my back and im a very little person female and can not push the big cart especially with the huge tool box on it. It did not matter to him because he told me to get the cart and had me push it up to the front of the store which was very very hard for me. Then I had to help him get it in my suv after me telling him to get another guy. I couldnt get the car seat out to put seat down and told him I would come back with truck. He would not listen. So now my toes and back are very sore. I give Lowes 5 stars but not the worker. It was horrible trying to push and stir that cart
Great store but the employees are lazy and slow. I dont expect them to run but they should move with a purpose and be prompt when doing something. Most employees are friendly and personable though. Dont bother calling to ask because they never answer. Its my favorite store but it could be managed so much better.
8/30/20205:30 pm areaI deserve to be employee of the month as I had to do all the work by myself. Im used to not getting customer service and finding things myself but today I was tired of looking and just wanted a hand saw. I found two employees walking by and asked them where it was. Both didnt know where it was and pointed behind me to a general location, which I already knew as I was standing there. No further help.SECOND- I tried to go through the self checkout. I didnt catch her name because I was so done at this point. A older, short and portly woman with glasses rudly told me not to go through the self checkout with my airstone boxes because I couldnt checkout with them. I asked her why not as there was a checkout gun. She couldnt give me an answer and looked at my flat truck and saw that I had a hand saw. Then told me I couldnt go through because the Handsaw was a security breach. Ok well when the regular cashier scanned it there was no bypass and when I asked her about it she looked at me like i was insane. The third thing the self check out woman told me after I asked her if she could just bypass the hand saw was that I couldnt go through the self checkout because it was cards only. I didnt have cash in my hand??? So why all the excuses??? Weird experience
Rude. Or lazy. Or that was just their nature. Were only a two employees that didnt wanna help. It was quite obvious I needed help. Or maybe it was the stupid mask hiding my confused look?Prices are a lot higher than where Im from. Quite a bit higher.Overall decent, clean store.
Im always grateful for Lowes employees who are ready, willing, and able to help you find an item you are in the store to shop for. This store carries an enormous amount of stock, in a wide variety of departments, so having alot of choices in merchandise is consistently available. I have appreciated the advice of knowledgeable employees in the paints, lighting, lumber and tool areas with hundreds of projects that have gone smoother because of them. Kudos to Lowes for putting people into place that can contribute to the customers good experience here!
My policy is not to shop at Lowes due to their poor policies and customer service. Previously I had good experiences at this location so gave 3 stars to this store. I cannot shop at an unethical store when there are no notices about no returns on Holiday clearance items after 12/26. I purchased lights on 12/26 that did not work. They have signs about 75% off holiday items, but no signs stating no returns. I came back on 12/28 to return the lights with my receipt. They kept pointing to a sign by the returns desk and referring to their policy, but there was nothing near Christmas items that said no returns after 12/26, nor did the cashier state there were no returns after 12/26. So be warned if you purchase any Holiday items on or after 12/26, you will not be able to return them.
I stopped in to lowes orchard park today to get some grout for our bathroom. I dont normally come here but I thought we would give it a try. I couldnt not find any one to help me and the store was not busy. Then when eric finally came to help he was one of the most unfriendly customer service workers I have ever encountered. Then when cashing out the lady at the self check out was so rude to me and my family. I will continue to do my shopping at home depot where they never disappoint.
Two chances- bought sconces from Lowe’s online tried to return them because they were bent and missing parts- all three. I Was literally a couple days past 90 they said they’d call me back, never did, called them and the employees especially the manager was extremely rude. Im out $81 on a defective product over a 90 policy that was enacted AFTER my purchase date that was not the case when I originally bought them it was a new policy. The contractors that I work with were also not aware of this new policy either they’re not telling people. The next was them assuring we could use my disabled grandfathers WWII discount without him there since he’s in a wheelchair- Nope they never mentioned the name on the license had to match last names. They don’t care about customers, the quality of their products, and seeing the disappointed look on a veterans face was enough for me.
Purchased an above range Whirlpool microwave, as a housewarming gift for my son, spent an hour installing it, I then turned on breaker only to find I had just installed a $150 clock. I put a small cup of water in it and tried to heat it , but all that happened was a code flashed on the screen and then nothing. Lowes tells me to contact Whirlpool. I call and Im told the control board is bad, although I never even used the oven. Whirlpool wants me to wait on a service tech to show up on Wednesday between 8 and 4. Not convenient for people who have to work for a living. I removed the oven and brought it back to Lowes. The wierd thing about that was they never offered to exchange. They only said the money would be back on card today. I asked for in store credit so I could go back and pick a different oven but they said they couldnt do that they could only do a refund to my card problem with that was I didnt have the card with me so I couldnt buy another one without going home to retrieve the card, having had enough of Lowes for a lifetime I then went home got my card and went to Home Depot and bought a LG , went back to sons house, installed it and it worked. I understand Big Box Stores items are made cheaper than items you would purchase elsewhere do dont expect them to last as long as they should but if it doesnt work from day one I expect customer service to be a bit more customer friendly.
Went for storm door and install. Would like if someone knew what theyre doing. Guy in window and door rung up order gave paperwork to pay upfront. Nothing comes up 3 other person attempt to assist. Told to go back to window and door turns out it was never entered. New guy redoes order. Go to pay cashier says her register keeps taking her back redid order several times via my phone number. I dont understand how what should of been simple turned into a lot of time wasted. Hopeful delivery and install goes smooth.
Wow!! I ordered a countertop online for store pick up. I get the note it’s ready so I go to pick it up the next day. When I get there it’s nowhere to be found so they have to grab it off the shelf. 40 minutes later they bring me one side of the counter. I tell them it’s only half the order, the Lowe’s guy walks off. I tell the girl at the register that it’s only one side. She then disappears. After another 10 minutes I grabbed the other half of the counter myself off the shelf and left. Horrible customer service, cants complete the order picking but doesn’t know how to communicate with people. They’re called words and we speak them to each other to communicate....
Went to Lowes to look for a few things that Depot by me, no Lowes close, and although they did not have what I was looking for in stock, they were very very helpful in trying to find where I could get what I was looking for. The difference in their staff, friendliness and helpful, compared to Depot is like the difference between night and day ! I would always shop Lowes if I had one close to where I live !
Being in the military for 24 yrs, only to find out that my veterans card is not valid. They want veterans to sign up on line and give out their personal information which includes DD-214. I have several from reenlistments. But I dont trust giving up personal information everytime I want to buy something...
Went today to buy a garage door opener. Got help to get one for my size door. It has all the features I want. Now the problem. The guy sold me one for a smaller door. So, I already had it home and assembled to install and discovered it was a foot too short. Ok, back to Lowes for an extension kit. Guess what. They dont carry that part and cant even order it. After a bit of attitude from a guy in the department, he located one at Home Depot. After a 30 minute wait for this information, I went to Home Depot got the part and checked out in about 5 minutes. Question now is why will bother with Lowes any more. They used to be fully staffed and helpful. Too big for their pants?
DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS LOCATION.I placed my order on June 10.On June 12 I called for our expected delivery date.They said July 8! I accepted this but,I called back weekly to see if we could be moved up to no avail.On July 6 I called the store to verify delivery on time. They said yes.On July 7th they call back and say the product is not in stock anymore and closed out my delivery date out and postponed until August 5! They also said the product was not available at any near by locations. This was a lie and an easy search proved the product was at nearby stores. It took multiple calls to get the manager, Phil who was very nice, but does not make up for the fact that I still dont have the materials that I ordered. Now I am waiting for the Springville location to verify a delivery date.
Customer service at lowes in o.p . was horrendous. We were waiting for someone to help us for about 15 minutes. They called for customer service in electric three times and one gentleman called for us on his hand held radio. There were all kind of workers in this store today so this was not an issue. Needless to say we were disgusted and walked out!!!!
Always have what I am looking for and the staff is helpful. I go in and tell them I need a doo hickey like you would use for this or that for my cardmaking sometimes and they can help me figure out what I could possibly put on a handmade greeting card. Love this store I can find lots of things to try with my crafting. That is not all I shop for but theyre great!!
I am completely over Lowes!!!! We spend a lot of money there and every single time we go we either get a rude employee, a ton of employees that are zero help or lengthy hold up to cash out because they need managers to do everything and they are nowhere to be found! Today I had to leave my full cart because there was not a single person around able cash me out for a discounted pot of mums. Get it together Lowes! You just lost a customer and I will spread the word!
Poor Customer Service.Before heading out to the Orchard Park Lowes I spoke with somebody at the store over the phone about price matching from Amazon, as they advertise Price Matching as you walk into the store. I was told that as long as it is sold by Amazon and not a third-party vendor they would honor the price match, no problem. When I was checking out, the manager was called over to approve the price match. I showed the manager the price on Amazon and that it was indeed sold by Amazon, which he verified, and refused to give me the price, after deliberating for a while, stating shipping fees need to be accounted for, of which there were none. I showed him that there were no shipping fees, even for non-Prime members with this item and he still wanted to tack on a rudimentary $10 for shipping for some reason (I wont bother speculating). This item did not need to be shipped to their store--they had it in stock at the store.Decided just to buy it off of Amazon despite having to wait longer for the item than Id hoped and having to push a project back 1-4 weeks, depending on when i actually receive the item. I usually go to Home Depot because of the proximity, however they did not have this particular item I was looking for. I have not had any bad experiences at Lowes before at other locations, however I usually do my shopping at HD and always have a good experience there. I will likely continue to shop there over Lowes whenever possible for the better customer service, among other things.
Not a great experience. I went there for spray paint. They were out of the color I needed. I asked customer service about ordering it and they sent me to the paint department.The paint department told me of three other stores that had it in stock. I asked if they could get it for me, or order me a case (6 cans). They cant order it and said it would be better to drive to Springville, suggesting I call first to make sure theyre 10 can inventory was actually in stock. It was not.It seems every time I shop Lowes I leave empty handed. Lousy customer service. Empty shelves. No help getting me the product I need. Really not impressed with them.
It is a good place to shop but they can be slow and difficult to find an employee to help a lot of times but overall I would recommend them. They also offer a 10% discount for disabled veterans if your setup an account at the service desk. I like them better than Home Depot.
Best Lowes around. Organised, well stocked, helpful employees. Can easily spend a couple hours here. Also they carry a lot of appliances that they deliver and install for a fair price. Recently l had a new dishwasher installed. They were on time and the installation went perfectly.
Kelly is the WORST customer service representative at this location. Doesn’t talk at you but talks down to you. Told me the product we ordered in store wasn’t in stock and there wasn’t anything she could do. When we spoke with a manger, he found the product immediately. Kelly needs to find a new job. If I could give zero stars because of her I would. With the economy the way it is someone is more worthy of her job.
Nick was amazing! He stayed well past the time he should have to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted while ordering doors for our home renovation. Well it’s time to remodel our bathroom!!!the question I had what color is in still gray Beth the salesperson wasgreat spent 2hours with us!suggested the whirlpool bath a lot cheaper than other ones,the tile ,and the floor tile ,not only was she so helpful,she was so nice cause of her, we didn’t go anywhere else thank you 😊 Debbie
Some of the worst customer service ive ever had. Came for curbside pickup during pandemic. Couldnt come inside as my 2 year old son was with me. Delivery came out (cpvc pipe and fittings) i quickly noticed that several fittings were the wrong size, and useless to me. Called back 4 times while sitting in their lot and was told each time they were coming right out with the right fittings. After sitting there for 1 hour, i was told they didnt have them in stock, and i could not be refunded without coming inside, which again i couldnt. Finally after another 10 mins, a manager came out and gave me $6 in cash. So i waited 80 mins to get my $6 back and still dont have what i need to do my project. Never again Lowes. Never again
We went for a 7-piece DeWalt tool set. I will never shop at Lowes again. we are hitting 1 hour and 30 minutes in the store being transferred from one person to another to find the item were looking for after they already charged us the worst experience of my life and the rudest people Ive ever seen
I am so far beyond disappointed in Lowes appliance delivery service. Purchased a washing machine September 9th. I wanted it in white so it was special order. They were supposed to call me when it arrived to schedule delivery. Never received a call. Frustrated with waiting i checked the status online on 10/4 & it said the washer was at the store... Called to arrange delivery. They gave me a window of 8am to noon Saturday. Told me I would get a call the night before to make it a 2 hour window. Never got a call. At 10:30am Saturday I called to find out what time they were going to be here. The lady said between 1pm and 3pm! Are you kidding me?! She then called the delivery guy and he said it would actually be 11:30. Noon comes around and its still not here. Call again. The guy gave me a hard time but eventually called the delivery manager and he said the truck just left the store and I was the first stop so hed be there soon. I live 15 minutes from Lowes and it is now 1pm and no washer in site. Worst experience I have ever had. If they are going to give delivery windows, STICK TO THEM. I need to go into work but instead Im sitting here waiting for something that should have been here hours ago. And I still have no idea when it will actually be here because every time I call, they give me a different lie.
I went to return a resente purchase there was one employee working with customer. Patiently waiting for apx 5 minutes. When another employee came up and walked past me like I was not there. I asked is there anyone else around? The response d was hay I, work in the back. The store was not busy mid Sunday afternoon.after another5-6 minutes had gone by I was asked if I needed help. Lowes seams to be sipping on there customer relationship lately Ive been noticing. I also talked with an employee at there deck planning back in early May 2019. No one has gotten back to me. Yes May of 2019
Went in for mulch, weed killer, and fertilizer. Came out with all that, plus lumber to erect a frame for swing for grandkiddos. Grabbed the lumber this trip out as there was none last year. With everyone home in 2020 due to covid, everyone was doing projects at home.
Walking through the stores looking for items is no longer easy. Employees can see you that you are looking and they rather turn around look the other way walked by you very quickly and dont want to bother. The quality of appliances and many other items are borderline poor. Blazing an order online it is always a gamble because if the item is no longer available no one communicates to you that you will not be getting the item no one calls you not at all. Only when I went out of my way and called the store was when I found out that I was not going to get the item that I ordered online that is says that was available.
I bought a storage shed on Tuesday. They are supposed to deliver it today. For a mere delivery charge of $69! They called yesterday telling me that I was second on their schedule and theyd be here between 8am and noon, and the driver would call when on his way here. I made plans to go out early this afternoon, figuring since I live relatively close to the store and was second on the schedule, theyd be here in the morning. 12:15 when I havent heard from them and no one was here, I called. After getting bounced around their phone system 4 times, I finally talk to someone. Amazingly, the driver is on his way here now, and should be here in about 10-15 minutes. Just about how far away from the store I am. I am one very unhappy customer right now.
Had a rep. come to our home & give us a price on replacing two windows & a door. He gave us a price on the window & said he would get back to us in a day or two....., a week later still no call! I called him and he said he has been off and would have me a price the next day (didnt happen) Got a follow up call a week later wanting to know how everything went, I expressed our dissatisfaction & still nothing!! I wanted to order but Im not going to beg them to take my money!!
Their phone system is the worst, I spent a half hour on hold & getting cut off before I finally had to go back to the store in order to set up the delivery that I had already paid for a week previous. For the extra 70 bucks I spent for delivery I expected much better service. The delivery guy was super nice though.
Ive been in management for years and would love to have a place of business full of employees like the gentleman working your contractor register today, helpful, polite but more importantly, engaging. I believe his name was Ron, around noon at your Orchard Park store on South Western. Great to see .
I had a small vinyl repair job in west falls. It was stock white contractor grade that should be available every where. Home depot on Elmwood in Buffalo was out and two other places. Lenco has it but Lowes was closer to the jobsite. Saved me a drive into the city. Thanks guys. Air-conditioned experience.
Stopped in looking for glass block to replace basement window was suggested by one of the assistants that it would be better for us to do full center block in that particular spot he was very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to what it was we needed thank you Lowes we did not get the same response from Home Depot.and Home Depot does not give any kind of discount
Only two registers open and lines backing up. When cashiers needed help from manager took a long time to get it further delaying the lines and check out. Also they started a new policy where you have to fill out special form online in order to get your veterans discount. The photo ID card from the VA is no longer accepted as proof of your eligibility, thats ridiculous
I stood looking at dishwashers for 10 mm plus while salesmen walked by me back and forth before someone asked if I needed anything. I bought a unit. The automated phone call to set up an installation day is not very nice because I want to talk to a human being not a computer. Then they were supposed to call me the night before and they didnt because my dishwasher was supposedly not in stock. When actually it was in stock but one side of the store in Orchard Park cant communicate with the other side of the store so I wasted A-day off from work and cant get anything else done most of the morning communicating between the store the installer and the Installation department. The only saving grace was the installer called me directly and was a pleasure to talk to. We finally figured it out but I still lost a whole day out of it Ill never buy an appliance from lows again.
I wish I didn’t have to choose 1. The WORST customer service, and so short staffed you would think the few amount of employees you do have on the floor more be knowledge and understand the importance of customer service...but here in Orchard Park that’s a no go. Lost my business- Home Depot it is!
I just would like to recognize and thank the Orchard Park location of Lowes for enforcing their store policy to limit individuals to one package of toilet paper or paper towel rolls, And shame on the woman this morning who was trying to load up with multiple packages of each. In case you have been living under acrock, that is the definition of hoarding. And did anyone else notice that Lowes Orchard Park also extended the amount of time that the water runs in their sinks? Thus, we now can properly wash our hands for at least 20 seconds. Thank you!
Have sued this store for a few years. Always have had satisfactory service from the store. Im not sure if management has changes or they are having staffing problems however, my last experience with them has been awful. Miss guided information completely unresponsive. Ive been on the phone for 30min trying to get a hold of someone to check an order for me. Still have not spoken to anyone that could assist me. Im still waiting...
If I could give lower I would have. Had to wait 20 min for assistance just to find out they didnt have an item that said online they had 17. Then when talked to a manager his comment was well I can not make them appear. He offered no assistance in checking other stores or trying to order online. I will not be going back to Lowes. Here I come Home Depot for all of my home improvement needs.
I had two keys made. The gentleman who did the keys was very nice. He had a problem figuring out how to do the machine. It was not working too well. The young lady that was there went to get another man to help the man that was trying to do the keys. He was a young black man who was on his lunch, but he came & helped the man who really was trying. The key I had was from a apartment building 22 years old. But I got my two keys. The three people were all a great help and very helpful. I would give Lowes a ten. Thank you.
Spoke with 3 employees who werent able to help me locate a product line that Lowes carries. Finally found the small display of the products, hidden in the last isle of the store in a lumber isle and was unable to get to them due to the isle being roped off for forklift work. I can imagine you dont sell many of those products which are generally an impulse purchase to begin with. Oh well, your competition sells the same product line. 🤦
I have now stopped in this Lowes location four different times to order Trex decking. After being told time after time there would be someone here tomorrow that could help you. This store should really do away with their pro desk seeing as how there obviously arent any pros that are familiar with the products they sell.
I went in with a unique problem...couldnt get my remote start key fob apart to change the batteries. John in Tools helped me from getting it apart, replacing the batteries, and putting it back together (not an easy thing). I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Thank you, John...it works!!!
I really like Lowes. Thats why I go there they seem to have what I want and a fair price and when you need help from an associate they will walk you right over to what it is youre looking for and if they dont know where it is they will find out for you. So this is one place that does have some customer service.
Went mulching, Lowes has a great selection of mulch for the garden, easy in and out, you can pay at the regular registers so you dont have to migrate to the garden shop if you know what you are after. Keeps the wife out of the flower section and helps leave some money for a beer that you will need when you are done mulching!
Zero stars for Lowes (they only get 1 bc I had to). When you make a comment how the store sucks, the associate should ask what the problem is instead of sarcastically saying have a nice day. Never any flat carts available there, always holding store stock or in the parking lot.
An unusually disappointing shopping trip. The cashier struggled with figuring half of $3.66. Although the worker loaded 11bags of mulch and an interior door for us he walked away when my sister and I were struggling with how to use the straps to secure it. He was also clearly annoyed with having to help put the bags in the truck bed
I use to like going to Lowes to get items especially if there was one near by. I have spend a lot of money at home improvement stores. It seems as they may have changed some of their policies. Things have gotten rediculous and I find myself shopping less and less with them.
This is the perfect store for someone that wants to get in and out without talking to anyone theres literally like 2 employees that know anything about tools home improvement so dont go here if youre not sure what you are looking for prices are ok close to home depot still not at a harbor freight tractor supply level in prices they still got them beat so for a quick in and out this store is good
Went to Lowes to buy a new bathroom sink because the new one we bought else where kept leaking & thought it was due to a small chip where the washer sits on the underside. After talking with an associate we found out that our leak may be caused by the fact that the sink has no overflow holes. He gave us more information and a drain pipe for sinks with no overflow. He could have just said wed have to buy a new sink/vanity combo but didnt!
My father recently went to this location. He shops there frequently for location and good customer service. Last week he went there for a purchase and was denied his veterans discount, although he showed his VA ID card he was denied the discount and told he needed to produce his DD Fm 214. Ridiculous!! He is a 70 year old Vietnam Veteran who does not carry his 214 with him. I am a retired USAF and do not carry mine on me either. This is your average Lowes they have a normal selection of products that Lois usually has we go to this one because it is close to her house. The staff there seems friendly enough and our questions have always been answered. We bought a snow blower here a grill and home improvement various home improvement products. We often comparison shop between this location and the Home Depot on Ridge Road in West Seneca.
Went too lowes in hamburg...bought washer last week waited over 30 min for some help...dryer went this week!!!!went back too lowes too purchase the dryer..had 2 in stock of the appliance i wanted too purchase according too the first person i delt with..then second person came over and they said they had none in stock after i waited for 30 min for some help...drove out too orchardpark store..services was awesome and had what i needed..was in and out with my purchase in about 15 min...
Service was a little lax. By this I mean it took me a little while to find someone to help me. A lot of the customers were also rude. As I was waiting my turn to be helped they just barged in. The employees should have told them to wait their turn. I left without purchasing anything.

2022-03-04Terrible. Typically we have no issues with Lowes. Not this time. Buying a large amount of interior doors one day, needed assistance getting one from an upper shelf, pushed the help button. The announcement rings overhead about six times. Then I noticed two employees having a loud personal conversation in the next aisle, I had to go ask them for help and was greeted with attitude by one of them. Didn’t stop there, went to check out and the troll of a cashier Debbie gave us a hard time about using our military discount dictating what method and who was allowed to make the purchase. Then proceeded to scold our family member for something that Lowes gave HER for her military service without notification of their policy change. Absolute terrible service today.

2022-05-21Its one matter to shop there. Buying any professional services for home improvement are problematic, can take many months, misunderstandings with proposals, contractors who will not go the extra mile or fulfill their job duties. Part of problem is they act as a middle man between the contractor and work details can get easily mixed up. In short, not going back for any type of home improvement services. I still like shopping there, that is usually a positive experience.

2021-06-16Have not been to Lowes in some time I frequent the other Big box store I was shocked at Lowes quality selection and help from people staff is extremely knowledgeable I went for the lighting section and was shocked at the thousands of choices I highly recommend someone to visit Lowes if you have any home remodeling needs or wants

2022-06-25This lowes is just so messed up. One online order and Lowes of Orchard Park was the fulfillment store for the order which was a gas grill. After two weeks of waiting, they sent me a very different grill, different model. Already called them over 30 times n spoke to 5 different managers/AMs or associates. Still I dont have my grill. Disgusting and rude management.

2022-06-12Employee not even working in the fence area stopped to help us find what we were looking for. All other employees were busy with other customers. They definitely upped their customer service. Got our fencing, very easy to install. Love how the fence added to our front garden.

2022-03-04Absolutely awful experience. No one responded to the need help bell to get an item off an elevated shelf, and was relegated to hiking around the store, to two employees having a private conversation several isles over, ignoring the paged announcement (that had to be on its 5th+ page). Cashing out at the contractor exit, cashier Debbie awkwardly carries on a conversation with a customer well after hes cashed out, and Im still waiting. Debbie removes the 10% off discount from my order, and demands my disabled veteran sister present herself at the store to the discount (after it was already applied to the order). These items were being purchased for her. She continues to say my sister must be the one to pay for these items--thats not the policy, and Debbie knew it. My sister ended up driving out, and Debbie wasted about 40 minutes of everyones time here. Debbie then goes on to berate my sister that the policy changed 3 years ago. We simply could have purchased online and applied the discount, but Debbie just wants to exert what little power she has in an attempt to make your life miserable. Avoid her checkout line at all costs.

2022-01-20Store opens at 6am but doesnt start receiving until 7am they have the doc blocked with there truck so nobody can pull in. Their works are in the back talking for 30min than when its close to receiving hours thats when they start loading there box trucks and take an 1hr to load their trucks! Home depot is so much better when store opens they start receiving and doesnt stop till about 1 hr before closing! Gonna start refusing to go to lowes until things change! no deliveries means upset customers!

2021-12-24We bought a fridge/freezer from Lowes, as ours took a s*** on us. We were very worried about getting it delivered before Christmas, as many places are backed up for weeks & even months. Then I read some reviews & was extra worried, as several people mentioned their items being promised but not delivered on time or lost, etc...Ours came right on time, as promised, thank goodness! Staff was a great help, delivery guys were awesome & efficient.

2022-05-286 people could not tell me where plumbing was! They moved it had the flag in the wrong spot! If you move thing then at least let your employees know where thing are. Why have associates if they dont know anymore than the customer!
