Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
Do not hire for kitchens, the person they sent out to measure the kitchen messed up the measurements. Now the contractor is here and everything is off. On day two of trying to get this resolved but cant even get the people in cabinets to call me back. Everything has been a nightmare since the start. They said everything is in stock, but when it was time to deliver they only had half the stuff. Everything came in finally but it took 3 delivers and had to reschedule the work. The one delivery they backed through the grass tearing up the yard. One cabinet is broken after opening the box. Now just stuck without a kitchen and now have to drive in there so I can at least talk to a person.Update - Was told since I did not go with them for the installation, they are not liable for the measuring mistake. Even though I spent 8k on cabinets and appliances off of the measurements they did. They wouldnt even refund the cost of having the measurements done. Time to contact the BBB.
The person who waited on me in the appliance area was very dismissive to my questions, turned his back on me to talk to someone else for several minutes and was downright impolite. I went right back to Orvilles and bought my stove and fridge there. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Lowes in Henrietta.
What a tremendous experience. I found myself in need of a replacement washing machine on relatively short notice. Getting a service call from a previous vendor was going to take three weeks. I wasnt open this and to the lack of interest in them. So, I strolled into Lowes because Ive had previous success purchasing a dishwasher and freezer over the last few years. I was greeted fairly immediately and in a very easy way by one of the appliance team members. Id been looking at a very economical model on an end display and had strolled around to see some of the ongoing regular stock. I was very interested in a general electric machine which was already on for a $85 discount, and with the staffs advice that I would be granted a further $100 discount should I apply for and acquire a Lowes card, I was able to get the general electric washer, with a very large capacity and a high customer service rating for $485, with free delivery in far less time than even a service call offered at the initial vendor I approached, and free removal of my existing machine to the side of the road for removal! It was easy relaxed experience again and a true success for both Lowes and myself.
Worst service ever. Asked 3 different employees where to find the item I needed and none of them could seem to help. Finally find someone to actually help me look and then he gets on the phone and starts assisting some one that isn’t even in the store. I will never shop at lowes Henrietta again
Have order online pick-up items from them 3 times now and if it bigger than a small box their procedures are horrible. Has taken 30+ minutes for them to find the items each time. Once was charged twice and they did nothing to help aside from tell me I had to take it up with my credit card. I am solely a Home Depot customer now
The service here has really gone down hill. They rarely have actual checkouts open forcing people to use self checkouts or if they are open its only 2 and the lines are crazy long. Dont bother asking anyone for help. none of them are knowledgeable on their work area other then where an item might be on a shelf.Post covid staff has seemed to increase, however most seem to be elderly women to work registers.
Clean, and less crowded than home depot but the customer service was nonexistent. No one asked us if we needed anything or help. We come in and immediately looked to the ceiling for direction, dead giveaway we dont know what were doing lol. Nothing, now home depot is excellent about asking their customers for assistance.
Very disappointed with the service provided by the associate at the service desk for pick up, I was there at Lows on a Friday morning at 7:30 to pick up my order (stove), I spokw to the associate and he said it will take few minutes before I could get my order as the stove was staked somewhere behind in the warehouse, so my first question is why did I receive an email that it’s ready for pickup? The answer the associate gave was not sensible at all, then I waited there for 1hour 15 minutes and every time I ask him for an update he just kept on telling me that they are working on getting the item from the warehouse and it’s take time as it’s somewhere in the back, I was still very patient and asked the associate to call someone back there and ask for an update, when he spoke to the person in the back they said no one is working on getting my order yet, he just made me wait for more than an hour, then one of my buddy who came to help me to pick up the order (who was also waiting outside in his truck) spoke with the associate, that’s when the associate went inside by himself and brought the my order in less than 10 minutes, the associate just made us wait for more than an hour and don’t know for what reason for something that could have been done in less than 10 minutes, I don’t buy a word he said as the reasons for the delay, I think he just neglected me as a customer because I’m not an American, not until my American friend who came to help me spoke to him, the associate didn’t even bother to check with his coworkers if anyone was even working on getting my order. Very disappointed with the service!
Its a decent enough Lowes. Everyone there is knowledgeable and helpful. I guess my only critique is consistency. I go in about once or twice a month for various things; never the same stuff twice. Sometimes Ill have a great experience; other times Ill have an encounter with someone who has either lost passion for their work, or never had it in the first place. They have a better selection than [H*** D****] anyway.
While there is a great variety of items, I wish that Lowes would assign a representative to each category of items such as Plumbing, Electrical, Hardware... so that they can keep that area organized, clean and learn about the items that is sold in that department and stay there so that customers like me dont have to waste time looking for assistance (time is money). Many times I know more about the product they sell than their workers do.
On February 21st 2022, we purchased a set of four appliances: 2 laundry machines, a Frigidaire fridge, and an Amana Stove. The fridge was set to arrive that first Thursday, and it never did... Delivery claimed to have called and even showed up, but none of that ever happened. After numerous calls (one totaling an hour of wait-time before speaking to someone), I finally got ahold of the Appliances department, and they rescheduled the delivery for later, and took down my number again. Apologies were not forthcoming. The next week, the laundry machines arrived. No complaints. The delivery went off without a hitch, and the machines are flawless. The delivery teams, like every time I meet them for this order, were cordial, professional, and efficient.Once the fridge arrived, however, it did so damaged: There is a considerable black gash inside the freezer, and I noticed it only after the delivery team packed up and left. This was in March.Fast forward to May 19th, when I called again about the stove I was supposed to receive. I had called numerous times again throughout the months of March and April asking about it, yet never received an answer - and in some cases - being outright unable to contact someone. This time I spoke with the (assumed) head of the department, and she confessed that their records not only had the stove just sitting around (likely for months), but that they had not attempted to contact me about the stove at all.At all.At any rate, they delivered it - at last - yesterday, May 26th. However, the plug they sent along with it was the wrong one, and they would have to return to install the right one. And so, we finally arrive to today, the 27th.For the two hours and three minutes, I have been on hold listening to scratchy elevator music. At the hour and thirty four minute-mark, my hopes were dashed when I did hear someone on the other end; telling me to continue holding.I must emphasize we purchased these appliances on February 21st, and it is now May 27th; more than 3 months later. As noted previously with the delivery crews, the fault is on Lowes and Lowes alone.
The locations of items are often not where listed online or in app, and the staff are not always knowledgeable about products, but they are all friendly and try to help. HD has more knowledgeable employees but its very, very hard to find any. Also, if you have a decent credit score, you can get the Lowes charge card, which means 5% off every purchase, including sale items.
I purchased a 5-gallon pail of neutral base deck stain the morning of June 8 and was about to leave the store when the paint department associate approached me as I was leaving the register. He asked if I knew the stain I selected had to be tinted because without it, the finish would be a milky white, which I do not want. He then brought me back to the paint department for me to select a tint. I am very appreciative that he noticed that I was about to leave the store without adding a slight tint for the shade I desired and went out of his way to help me. Thank you very much!
Went here for tile and Josh in flooring went above and beyond trying to find the tile I was looking for going around the whole store and making phone calls until he located all the tile they had and helped me find other tile at other stores (which the other stores employees couldnt help me with). Josh is fantastic!
I came in today for a simple gallon of paint and the girl at the counter was super courteous and efficient. I was able to park in one of the 2 reserved Veterans parking places, and truly appreciate that. As I went to check out, Myles was right there and was so polite, always addressing me as maam during our interaction. That goes a long way. Thank you both for a job well done!
I went in specifically looking for two outdoor lights. We had a hard time finding the correct bin, but when we finally did, we only found one light. The website said there were two in stock and my husband was able to spy the second box way in the back of the row. We had to find an associate who had to actually lie down on the floor to retrieve the box. This is definitely not the way to stock a store... No customer wants to crawl on the floor to get their items!
Simple shopping made for a quick and effortless trip. Only shopped in the lawn and garden area for a Christmas tree. The trees were organized and neatly arranged. I was able to find my tree based on the size I wanted and sorted through a few. The person who worked in the area assisted with putting it in my vehicle.
Excellent customer service in the installation Department. Staff was extremely helpful while multitasking with other customers. All of my needs were attended to, they asked terrific questions regarding my plans and gave great suggestions! I look forward to working with their contractors.
So this Lowes has great selection, the store is always clean and the employees are always nice... The biggest problem Ive had with this location is the checkout times... Ive spent numerous times waiting 10-30 minutes in line at the pro side. And the regular lines are always a 5-20 min wait. But otherwise the store has done well by me. I recommend this location, just be prepared to budget for longer checkout times is all.
Calling the store is a joke, if you plan to invest 15-20 minutes of your time getting bounced around from person to person, then get hung up on. Then go to the store, then it is impossible to find help. Just remember you get what you pay for. Items may be cheaper but you will get HORRIBLE SERVICE! They just are under staffed, and have people who do not want to work. The good workers are just over worked there.
Agree with most of the reviews that the store is clean and excellent quality materials and good selection and almost all items in stock, but the billing person at the garden center messed the whole experience for me. This was aroud 5 pm 06-14-2020, and the billing person was so friendly and nice to the american folks ahead of me, and with me (non American) he was all Sir this and Sir that with a serious face as if he wasnt happy to help me with billing. I stayed back and watched his next interaction and again a very friendly service to next American customer. I hope Lowes reassigns this person to non customer facing job, so that he doesnt spoil the experience of other customers.
I have tried multiple times two days in a row to reach the customer service desk at this store. After half an hour of repetitive messages and phone ringing, the system hangs up on you leaving you to call back and start the process again. What kind of store doesnt have anyone available to answer the phone?
I came here to pick up a curb-side order and I was trying the phone number they provide on the sign but no one answered. I tried a couple times and then I checked in by using app. I waited for more than 45 minutes and no one showed up with my order and I tried calling again and no answer. Someone answered after 5-6 tries. I know they must be busy but my point is Do Not offer any service to customers which you can’t fulfill.
Good customer service, well organized, and the staff in each department is knowledgeable. Ive had great luck with their Kobalt tools, with a lifetime guarantee on hand tools you cant beat. Had a screw fall out of a torque screwdriver making it so you could not switch left/right. Went in to get a replacement part to fix mine, within a few minutes I had an entirely new screwdriver!
Great place! I much prefer Lowes to Home Depot (HD is very anti-union and treats their workers terribly), and the Henrietta Lowes is no exception. We had to get some large pieces of MDF cut here, and we werent charged any extra. They also seem to be taking COVID seriously, as I see them wiping down the self-checkouts after every purchase.
During my short visit I saw four people with masks pulled down, well below their noses. In addition, I saw two customers not wearing masks at all. There were two employees with their masks below their noses as well, including the friendly man at the register. I will not be returning until I know that the store has done better training for their employees. Target, Wegmans, Home Depot and others have done a much better job in this regard and I have not felt uncomfortable or unsafe in any of those stores. Lowes has to do better.
I needed to get some screws and something (wood) cut. The employee was super helpful on finding the right screws, as I didnt have a good sizing. Also cut wood quickly. Only issue is thats its hard to find employee to help. Not many when I was there. Cashier was very friendly too.
Really bad experience with customer service today. Usually stear away from bad reviews but making a exception today. In lowes defense, it was busy. That being said the customer service rep was rude and very short with me. Basically said they could not help with my issue and as i was about to ask a follow up question she called the next customer. I didnt even get the question out. Very disappointed. Im a contractor, spend a ton of $ in these places every week. Will be spending more at home depot moving forward.
So today..was a special kind of day. The guy who walked me through the process of liner and rocks, was very patient, knowledgeable and happy. All these things wrapped in one package made my LOWES experience pleasant. Also Kevin and crew who loaded cars were very helpful and happy. Thank you all!!!
Always quick and easy to get in and get what you need. They have a decent number of floor staff and they usually are able to point you in the right direction of whatever you are looking for. The self check out lanes usually seem to work well for me, although sometimes the machines are slower than I am. Even though the rival home improvement store is much closer to me, I find it more crowded (inventory wise) and not as bright.
Waited 10 to 15 minutes for help in the appliance department. The washer died so I planned to purchase. The employee called for help for another family and mine and nobody showed up. At the service desk we asked to speak to a manager. Nearly 5 minutes later he called the desk screening the call to see what we wanted. We left and purchased at Home Depot the same night. They earned the rating I gave. Just a start to over $800 of my money that they wont get.
Online order for curbside pickup. Think to myself awesome I have 2 kids in carseats this will make my life easier! Online order process with minimal issues, but when order placed alert says 3 day wait for it to be ready. Receive email less than 24 hours order ready for pickup. Alright thats a plus. Arrive at store park and call as sign says for curbside pickup. After a very confusing call was placed on hold over 25 min - lowes was looking for the order. Two items in the order were even incorrect. Very confusing and long time consuming process. Will be shopping at the small local hardware store even if I havent to go inside from now on.
My husband and I have had a horrible experience with Lowe’s. Three out of four appliances we purchased from Lowe’s broke within our three year warranty period. The stove fans went out and were replaced. The dishwasher went on the fritz and was repaired. Then our refrigerator broke about three weeks ago and we were told it cannot be fixed. A manager at Henrietta Lowe’s told my husband to call him if we need anything and my husband has called him and another manager at least three times and neither manager has called him back. The Lowe’s appliance warranty is awful. They claimed they tried to contact us but neither of us got a call or an e-mail from the warranty place. They did not replace the refrigerator, and told us they had to approve the loss first. Then they only sent us half of our food allotment and when my husband called this was corrected, at least. They said they sent out a Lowe’s card, but we have not received it. My husband requested a check instead of a Lowe’s card because we decided not to get a refrigerator from Lowe’s, so they voided the card. It could take up to 10 days to get this check. Meanwhile, we have no refrigerator and are not able to get one delivered until after Thanksgiving. We also need our refrigerator removed, but will have to pay for that as well. I would never purchase another appliance at Lowe’s. Hoffman’s Appliance was far more responsive and their warranty is better as well.
If I could give no star I would. I recently just switched from home depot to Lowes and regret it already. I ordered a pressure washer online for curbside pickup, and when I was notified it was ready for pickup I was extremely disappointed and inconvenienced when I went to pick it up and was told uncaringly that my ordered was canceled. I asked why because I didnt cancel it nor was I notified. He said we are out of stock, I asked why was I not contacted he said idk theres nothing I can do. No apology,no attempt to reconcile the issue, nothing. Absolutely disappointed in the service and will be taking my business elsewhere for the rest of my house hold needs and projects.
Had the worst experience here today with an employee who refused to do more than 2 cuts to a piece of wood because he doesnt need to help people with projects he only cuts the wood to help it fit in your car this is my department he said and I dont need to do that and wont let anyone do that I got the manager and he said that they are there to help people do all the projects they can help with so he fixed the problem but I argued with this employee for a half hour who walked away from my wife and I multiple times and we also had our baby with us. It took us two hours to get what we needed and I even marked the wood and only needed a few cuts. This employees name was Dante. I hope to never see him there again but I will no longer shop here anyway as I have always been treated better at my local Home Depot.
As a chain, youd expect to have a similar experience across locations. At this location in Henrietta, however, multiple employees actually approached me and asked if I needed help. When I did need help, 2 different people stopped what they were working on to help me. Definitely worth any extra travel time you might experience to head to the location, great service and people are knowledgeable.
At first I was not impressed...I always shop at home depot, but I decided to purchase some shades with lowes in Henrietta as they were a better price. After I received them and was home hanging them up I realized they gave me the wrong size for one...I called the store atleast 10 times always had a minimum of 5 min hold and either the call would hang up or id get put back to the main menu, when I all was trying to do was make sure before I drove another 15min they had the right shade in shock. At that point I decided to just drive down and hope...luckily they had in stock! Great! When I got home and took it out of the box it was broken! I called and spoke to the manager named Jake and he immediately offered me a refund and to come get another blind that they had in stock! Fast forward the next day, he called and left me a voice mail stating the girl did not refund the correct amount so he fixed it and will be refunding me the amount we discussed! Jake, you have completely given me a better idea of Lowes and their business. I will be back to shop. Thankyou again Jake you went above and beyond! This gentleman deserves some people! Hahaha
July 2019Updating my review 2 years later. I want to like this store but its got worse. Waited in line for cashier to pay for cart items + 5 bags of mulch from in front of the store. Tells me mulch is in back now. It wasnt. Return and lines have not moved, only gotten 3 times longer. Online pickup cashier is free but will not take store customers. Downgrading my review from 2 to 1 star. Ill be surprised if Lowes stays in business much longer.2 years ago....Love the store layout and what you can get there. BUT why are there employees everywhere at 8:00 am (must be at least 50) but no one that can help you? I went to lumber section. The rude guys on the forklift couldnt wait to get rid of me saying Id have a wait a while until they finished something else before they sped away. Nobody was in the paint department to help with questions. Only one guy at the register stuck on a customer in need of a manager that would not come, to help the guy in front of me.It is impossible to do a quick trip before work if you need any assistance at all. Will try the Home Depot next time.
I had a nice Sunday project I wanted to complete at my home. Placed an order online for in-store pickup. Went to the store 2 hours later and the order is not ready for pickup. It is now 5.5 hours later and my order is still not ready.Went to Home Depot. Bought the items I had ordered and spent less money.Very disappointed in Lowes.
No one call for time of delivery I had to call , i called at 2:00 and the said delivery time was 1:30- to 5 :30 3 calls later with no courtesy Put on hold three times And then finally a lady named Sheila said she would call me back She never called me back Canceled order Will never do business with you people again. ppor way to.do business!!
As a former retail manager, I have mixed feelings about writing this review. As a veteran, however, my feelings are quite clear. For many years I was a very loyal Lowe’s customer, Henrietta being my home store. After receiving deteriorating customer service on nearly every visit over the past 2 years, combined with the “Pro” member benefits, I transitioned primarily to the Home Depot as a customer. Occasionally I stop at Lowe’s, hoping for something to change my mind, but without success.Today, I received an email from Lowe’s saying veterans would recieve a free 3’x5’ American flag with a purchase in honor of Veterans Day. I purchased the flag which has flown above my front porch since the day I closed on my first home over 2 years ago is showing its age and needs to be retired, so I went to Lowe’s and went to check out with some materials for a current project and a 3’x5’ American flag. The cashier (who has never been very pleasant) had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the free flag. Another employee standing nearby advised me that there was a cart by the main registers but they were all gone because the employees were instructed to give one to ANYONE who made a purchase. Why was the 3’x5’ flag in my cart with over $100 of lumber exempt? Why are you tossing American flags in every bag like it’s a weekly ad circular? What happens to the flags your employees sent home with people who couldn’t care less, have never flown a flag, don’t want a flag, and sure aren’t going to turn around to buy a pole and bracket to go home and proudly display it on their home or business?Never again, sorry Lowe’s...
Very disappointed in the Appliance department, and Lowes in general. My wife and I purchased a Samsung dishwasher a few months ago, which has broken 3 times. The claims process with Samsung is horrendous and I will never purchase another Samsung product again. So I reached out to Lowes to see how they can help since they represent and sell the product. They have been no help at all. In fact, when my wife called a second time to see how they can help she was told by an associate you are aware there is a pandemic going on correct?. My wife is very aware, she is a health care worker who is on the front lines of this pandemic and the associates comment was inappropriate and unacceptable. I have been an advocate for Lowes for years and have purchased a lot of product from them. Unfortunately, once this is resolved I will never purchase anything from this company ever again and I will advise any friends, family, and associates I know to do the same.
Like so many business places, Lowes in Henrietta has all but abandoned the full service checkout registers, replacing them with annoying self-serve checkout stations being overseen by multiple employees (cashiers). My two cents is if the customers are expected to do the employees job, a discount needs to be applied to the purchase.
Plenty of nursery stock and garden supplies at a reasonable price. Check out was a terrible nightmare. Cashier could barely do her job and had a long line of people waiting to check out. She would not use the hand scanner expecting us to unload our cart to her counter including several bags of potting soil. Nice young lady but totally lost in her job.
Dont shop Lowes for anything that you want installed!!!!! Absolutely terrible customer service through there installation team. Spent countless hours on phone with them to no avail. If you want something done right dont use them unless you want disappointment and lots of wasted time on phone calls. They are the worst experiences I have ever had and will NEVER SHOP THEM AGAIN!!!!!!! I bought a garage door opener and install two weeks later installer refused to install it because I needed to fix to brackets on my door. So I replaced them and called lowes to reschedule another appointment for install. After 5 days with no call back from them or an installer I called them back. They said the installer refused to install even after I made the repairs to my door. What kind of business refuses to work with the customer.? Even after I have done whatever they said needed to be repaired do to liability. They are a big box store that contracts installs out and will not work with you. All I can say about them is they dont care how much time is wasted on phone calls and lengthy holds for the customer. Do not expect much from them! I even talked with store manager and he was nice (after 15 min hold) but his hands are tied do to outsourced installer. I have now scheduled install through precision door. Lowes is VERY LOW!
This is regarding the store pick up option at this Lowes. Sometimes they dont understand how to get you the product. It seems like theres no head or tail about where they put the product for pickup and where youre supposed to go to pick it up. once I finally got to the right location in the store for pickup which was at one of the front registers, I was quickly helped and everything was good to go. It just seems to take forever in my opinion
This is definetly NOT the place to go looking for discounts. Tools and building materials are geared around contractor purchases, which are usually bought in bulk and discounted only on yearly tax deductions. Home Depot is geared around home owners doing self improvements with much better deals for essentially the same products.
I will never shop here again. Im a contractor part-time and spend a lot of money at Lowes and Home Depot because of the convenience of most of the things I need in one place. The major difference between the two... customer service. Ive had less then favorable interactions with the staff the last few times Ive been here. Ive never had that happen at Home Depot. In fact, everytime I go there, staff is always asking me if I need help finding something or loading material. They will get my business.
The worst thing about this Lowes is that it is so busy and theres not one self checkout. You would be hard-pressed to get out of there in a decent amount of time when it is just slightly busy. After all the years that it has been there I do not know why they have not put a self-checkout in, is definitely a disservice to the people that shop there. If you have to get in and out really quick for something that you can get at Home Depot I recommend going there.
I bought a Christmas tree that was the last one on display. Because there was no box and no instructions I was given one hundred dollars off. I love this tree and the price reduction was very generous. An added bonus is the fact I know all the lights work because I saw it on display!
Horrible, service is horrendous! Waited 1/2 to talk to a manager and another 15 minutes for them to find my order that they already told me would be waiting for me at the register. Glad my blood pressure is low, otherwise Id probably have a stroke dealing with this store. When I tell u that every aspect of this experience was bad Im not exaggerating! They ordered the wrong size vanity top after I gave them the size of the vanity, forcing me to order a side splash to compensate. That apparently was ordered right but made the wrong size. They never called me when it came in & it sat there for weeks. Had trouble with my orders getting the system to take the payment & said theyd call me when it was fixed & never did. Id advise is u have no alternative but to go to this store, then pray u dont need any assistance.
1 star is even too high a rating. I was treated very rudely by the pro-desk supervisor at the Henrietta, Ny location. Ive been in the hvac trade for 37 years and have never treated so poorly, at ANY supply house. Lowes has just lost my $25k kitchen remodel project, and most likely my business for good. Home Depot sounds pretty good right about now...
I was installing a walk in shower they was purchased at this store. When I asked the plumbing department person about the drain I needed he gave me the wrong one. Now I have to take apart the whole unit that almost ready to be used. Tear up the floor and all. Cost me lots of extra labor. Sucks!!!!
Its a Lowes. Pretty much the same as you would expect, older staff is knowledgeable and helpful, younger staff mostly gets in the way. Watch out for the kids driving the fork lift, they could definitely pay more attention to their surroundings. Like I said, its a Lowes... at least its not a home depot!
Not helpful at all .. looking at appliances, washer and dryer, as my dryer quit working. Was told washer couldnt be delivered for about 2 weeks.... And the dryer up to 10-14 days after that because they have to hire separate installers when theres a gas dryer. Thanked him and went to Home Depot. Both will be delivered and installed this next Monday. Thumbs down to Lowes on this one.
A waste of time to order online and pick up in store. Followed the signs to the pick up cashier and after waiting in line was told she cannot do pick-ups, so I was sent to the customer service counter with 7 customers waiting for service, the cashier who waited on me was friendly but it took a while for her to gather the product, she apologized. While at counter I was able to see how dusty, dirty and disorganized the store is. Check the dust on the black lights above the customer service counter. The store needs higher operational standards and a more involved management presence to set the service level bar as the staff on hand tonight was just going thru to the motions.
I love places like this. Theres so much stuff you can get & dream about improving you home, life & house. If you need plants & everything to plant them, this is the place to be.Parking is always free & ample. Plenty of handicapped parking too. If you know/are a contractor, theres covered parking to load the truck up. Staff is courteous, friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. I always found Lowes to be better at home improvement, than Home Despot.
Bought a washer and dryer in store. They didnt tell me that they will hook up everything but the gas line for the dryer. They men told us when they got to our house they dont do gas lines. Then once they put the washer down it was broken and not working! No fault of the delivery men, but it would have been nice to know they dont do gas lines. I will never shop at Lowes again. This was a terrible experience
Unfortunately not giving a star is an option. This was personally my first time going through an experience with Lowes appliances and delivery and quite frankly will be my last, and Ifthat most definitely is not me blowing smoke. I have to rent a truck and find a few people to help me I will. I purchased a washer and dryer specifically setting up my delivery time, it was in fact the first question I asked because I knew I had severy things coming up and didnt want to miss it. We agreed for 9/8/19 which I was anxiously awaiting for. Here I am and no delivery and even better it has been switched to a later date that I wasnt informed of. That I found out after attempting to be transferred back to the delivery department 3 times before someone answered. Looks like I get to set my time aside again and just maybe cross my fingers that they actually deliver my product.. that is unless it changes again and I have to call and find out. Quite the top notch service . No wonder ecommerce is putting so many stores out of business.
My daughter returned a product for me they put the money on a lowes card I go to purchase something I cant I didnt return the other stuff so now I need my daughters license to purchase the stuff... really its a card not a credit card.... in when I do use my credit card no one ever asks for id... also my husband uses my credit card and only my name on it, they still let him use it with no id.... not happy
I purchased some product at this Lowes on a Thursday, then saw the identical item the next day at Tractor Supply for $20 less. Two managers, Cynthia and Pam, worked with me on a price match refund. They were very helpful, and because of this, Lowes is always my first choice for shopping.
I havent been to Lowes Henrietta in quite a while because of horrible customer service and long waits for any help, and so Henrietta Home Depot has been my fave store. However, Lowes was the only place that had a tool we needed asap, so off I went to purchase it last night. They only had a floor model left, even though their inventory said they still had another one. One employee offered to sell it to me for a discount, assuring me everything was there except the owners manual. I bought it, happy to have the item we needed.Got home and found out that there were quite a few parts missing, several of which we needed to operate the thing. Spent at least 35-40 minutes on the phone (I live an hour away) trying to find out where they had the parts to it. After getting the run around, I finally was told Id have to go to another Lowes.YES, I WILL go to another Lowes, hopefully to get a replacement, and THEN I SWEAR I will NEVER set foot in the Henrietta Lowes EVER again! This has delayed work we needed to accomplish in our business, and now I have to spend time traveling all over kingdom come to hopefully get the correct parts. Thank GOODNESS for Henrietta Home Depot-never have ANY problems there!
This Henrietta store is terrible. EVERY time Im here there is barely any staff. Today, not a single check out line is staffed, there is a line a mile long at Customer service, no chance of getting any help with anything in the store. Its ridiculous, dont even know why I bother, never again. Going to Home Depot from now on.
If I could give negative stars I would. Placed an order online, received confirmation email that it could be picked up before 10pm. Arrived at the store before 9pm to be laughed at by the customer service rep because there was no way to pick it up the same day. Showed her the confirmation email but she rolled her eyes. Asked if I could go get one myself from the rack and she said sure. Nice man who worked there offered to go get one. He came back to tell me there were none in stock. Asked why they had online ordering if it was a failure. Manager came to apologize but since it was after 9:30pm even if another store had it in stock I couldnt get there in time to pick it up. Complete and utter fail.
Switched to Home Depot due to poor customer service. Im . contractor that spends lots of money every month and they just couldnt keep me hppy. From 4/7 doors broken in a delivery that was somehow scheduled for a month later than we ordered it for to taking a literal hour to check an online item that was already paid for out of the store this place is going down hill fast.If in fact you do use this store for long material lists I suggest you steer very clear of John at the pro deskThe list for goes on just go down the road to home Depot
Bout a nail gun on sale. Went to home depot found better nail gun for half the price. Returned nail gun to Lowes. To put money back on my debit card would take up to 15 days. Asked for cash back instead. Waited 20 minutes for cashier to go get enough cash. Bah humbug!
I needed paint to paint my basement floors walls and ceiling. I also needed to deal with the mold that grew. Dave informed me of what exactly I need to to do and he was more than knowledgeable on the subject. My experience at Lowes was far better than ever experience Ive ever had at Home Depot. Dave also helped me with plumbing when I needed help with the PEX tubing connections. I highly recommend Dave in the paint department, he is really an asset to that business. If you need help with paint go talk with Dave. He knows his stuff
We purchased laminate flooring for our whole house from Henrietta lowes and had it installed by a 3rd party that lowes hired. After the job was complete we noticed many mistakes so we went to lowes to see how we can fix the issues. At first they seemed liked they were willing to work with us but then we soon noticed they really didnt care about service. The department manager William Brennan gave us the run around for about 3 weeks. He wouldnt email us back or return some of our calls. We then escalated the issues to the store manager Lou acchetta. Once again at first it seemed like everything was going well until he also stopped responding to our emails and always seemed to be in a meeting everytime we went into the store to see him. They finally escalated the issues to corporate where once again we bounched around 3 different managers and the communication got even worse. We wouldnt hear back for a couple weeks sometimes and everytime we spoke to someone it seemed like they didnt know what was going on. After 7 months of phone calls/emails and 2 home inspection they finally gave us 30% of our money. The floors are still messed up and we will have to find a new contractor ourselves to get this all fixed. This has been the worst experience with customers service in my life. I will never do busniess with lowes again. The whole project cost us $9,000 and they gave us back $3,000. We will be spending another $4,000 to get all the issues fixed between labor and material. Thank you lowes for stealing out money and making use live in hell for 7 months.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Hard to find someone tell help me. Sign for Item I bought stated reduced price if bought 10 or more, I bought 12. Register rang up full price. When I inquired about it the cashier looked at me and said I dont know and continued to check me out. One item I was looking for they only had 2 and I wanted 3. An associate tried calling Webster store to see if they had 3. They tried for 20 minutes to only get a busy signal. They even tried a differant # with same results. Probably not there fault but did not say much for webster location if they cant handle calls from one of their own stores.I will be going to Hone Depot from now on.
The houseplant section was in pitiful condition. Little to no indoor houseplant selection, dead leaves galore, overwatered plants. I was so disappointed. YouTube has videos done by plant buyers touring Lowes houseplant depts from all around the U.S. but you certainly cant compete with what Ive seen.
They sold me a product with the promise of next-day delivery. After purchase, it became delivery in eight days. The manager explained that his trucks were full because hed made lots of sales. Congratulations. Get more trucks. Or avoid false advertising, and youll make as few sales as you can handle. Oh, to add insult to injury, when I complained that eight days is too late, the snotty manager offered, I can cancel your order with just a couple of clicks.
Pretty much standard big box home improvement store. But, man, what a mess! Its difficult to get down many of the aisles with all the stuff in them, and not in a good way. Not just displays, which are bad enough, but just carts and/or even just piles of stuff waiting to be reshelved or scrapped. Lumber is often jumbled, making it difficult to find straight boards - I often have to sort through most of the stack.
So happy with our new floors. We purchased our floors from the our local store in Henrietta. We worded with Deshaun in the store who helped us pick out the flooring that best fit our needs. From the day we bought the carpet to the day they were installed only took 8 days. The company that installed the flooring (Service PROs ) was excellent. They contacted us and stayed in touch throughout the job.The carpet looks amazing. We couldnt be happier. The guys who put in the carpet even helped us move our furniture back in place. HAPPY CUSTOMER
Nothing but good things to say about this location. From online order fulfillment to customer service, their team has the customers best interests in mind constantly. Carson went above and beyond to help me with my issue. Would recommend this location to friends and family.
Started project with Lowe’s in March, it’s the end of August now and no one will contact me or complete the job. VERY overpriced for the level of service. I’m am beyond frustrated. It’s the first time using Lowe’s on a house that needs a lot of work and it will be the last.
They dont pick up there phone for curbside pickup, the phone just rang and rang till it times out 3 times, about 7 mins for each go around, had to go inside to pick up items and almost got into a fight with the mouthy black cashier at customer service, Ill never go back, Ill travel 1/4 further to Home depot for now on. Place went down hill after my cousin Lue Bacchetta head store manager left the place.
POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! Ordered an item online, they email me a week later to say THEY incorrectly priced the item and canceled my order. Thanks for wasting my time. This is why I do my business at home depot atleast they own up when they make a mistake and dont make it the customers problem. Thanks alot Blowes
Went to Lowes to buy a Dryer. Arrived in the appliance department tried to ask about gas Dryers. The appliance Lowes rep answered me with attitude. Like I should know they need to order Gas Dryers from the other side of the world. I walk out drove to Charlotte Appliance and bought a gas dryer and had it delivered and installed in two days.
I ordered an appliance from Lowes. They told me I would have it for pick up at the Lowes store Marketplace Dr. Rochester NY 14623. on 8/14. I called yesterday to check on the order and now they are telling me 9/6. I have my kitchen rip apart waiting for this appliance to complete the job. When I ordered it I was told that it was in stock at the vendor. Now they tell me different. All employees at Lowes including corporate have told there is no way to rush the order. I know that if the product is at the vendor it could be ship sooner. It seems no one at Lowes cares.

2021-12-29Super friendly staff! We bring our dog Moose here a few times a week to work on his therapy dog training, and he loves coming. The staff always ask before petting him which we appreciate so much. This is a great place to bring your pup!

2022-01-21We purchase a refrigerator, stove, and over the range microwave from Lowes. The refrigerator arrived first and didnt work. We lost several items. New refrigerator came 2 days later and work (grateful for the extended warranty!) Next, we were on our way to visit family in another state and received a call to tell us the stove was being delivered the next day, which we had no idea. After our return, we were able to request the microwave and stove be delivered at the same time, and they were able to do that. All went well and the group that delivered the stove was really awesome. A couple weeks later, we get a call telling us they were delivering our refrigerator then a week later they wanted to deliver the microwave! The stove came with directions on how to install but not how to operate the functions.I contacted or tried to contact whirlpool but unable. Sent messages, email...no response. Im hoping Lowes can instruct us. Nothing on the internet about it. Pretty frustrating.

2022-02-16I had a small gift card so I went in for some gardening supplies, and I also bought a washer. It was on sale for the lowest price I had seen, just the model I had been watching. All this went very easily and with no issues. If they deliver it and set it up as promised and on time this will be a home run.

2022-03-01Bought an extended warranty on a vacuum. They explained to me that I could exchange it in store for a new one if something happens, that was wrong. Then filed a claim and was advised that I would receive a UPC code and would be able to pick up a new one in store in 3-4 business days. 3 weeks later and no code. Called back and now I have to go through the manufacture because the warranty isn’t active until the manufactures warranty is up. Who’s going to wait around for 3 years in order to use their warranty. I’ve been lied to by 3 different agents and a manager wouldn’t even take the call after asking for one. What a JOKE, do not buy their extended warranties!!!!!

2021-08-13I purchased a 15-amp Siemens arc fault circuit breaker for around $50 from this Lowes location for my pool motor which kept tripping. I had to exchange because it kept tripping and I needed a 20-amp. I’m used to shopping at Home Depot which takes returns without receipts no problems so I did not keep my receipt, purchase was paid for with cash. The item was still in original packaging and worked fine (just the wrong size) - see picture. However at Lowe’s Return clerk would not return item without receipt (even though it states on their policy posted right behind that they do accept returns with no receipt), citing an exception for this item. Note that I have not had to return another item to Lowe’s. Most of us don’t have time to waste with this kind of stuff and recommend you stay away as well. Terrible service.

2022-04-12Big neat stores. They have lots and lots of products on hand. Prices have gone up considerably and Im not convinced that t is always necessary or they are taking a little bit advantage of their customers. I saw a grill with a price on the back side, and on the front side the new price was 100 dollars higher. Obviously that was old stock but they still jacked up the price like30% or something !

2022-03-19This store is a joke. Went to this store 3/19/2022 to buy some aluminum windows screen, some hardware cloth and aluminum material to make a screen. I found the screen as it was marked on the aisle, the frame material was with it, makes sense! I could not find the hardware cloth, 1/4x1/4. The first Lowes guy I asked sent me to the lighting dept, the second sent me to the screen aisle, already had been there and obviously wasnt there. But he did not know what hardware cloth was. The third guy said he was not familiar with the term Hardware Cloth and sent me to the screen aisle. I dumped all that I had found and left for Home Depot. The first young lady I asked at Home Depot directed me to the two locations of the products I was looking for. She even came by as I was making my selection to make sure I was getting what I needed.I sure I was mistaken that Lowes was building supplies and hardware, maybe it was a theater!!!

2022-05-21I purchased almost whole home customized new window treatment from Lowes, the Whole process was unsatisfactory, started unqualified third party window measurement and installation services, the technician took the measurement wrong multiple times, which required multiple installation, installation was very poor quality and not well fitted in my windows, took months to finally finish the process and taking measurements and repeating installation, last window I decided to do a t my sed despite paying for it because I did trust their third party company. Now after about 4 months some of the shades start to fell apart and does not stay open, I called the store today and they said they can bot do anything for me and I have to contact the manufacture Levelor and submit claim. I spent about 2000$ and the whole process was painful and unprofessional. My recommendation stay away from them.

2022-05-04Washer & dryer delivered today & dryer was not installed. Delivery men gave me a line that they didn’t have the clamps. They left me in a mess. I tried calling Lowes Store in Henrietta where the appliance were purchased after being put in hold numerous times, after being passed around, I was told they had contracted a third party to do deliveries & there was nothing they could do, & suggested I call Angies list. I was force to find someone to come & install after contracting w/ Lowes. A nice technician came from Craig Faulks plumbing that same day & said nothing was missing, clamps & piping was all there, the original men from Lowe’s did not want to do the installation.
