A young woman named Chloe (i may not have spelled her name correcty) went above and beyond to help me. My wife spoke to her on the phone as I was entering the store and not only was she helpful to me when I talked to her. She spent twenty minutes trying to help me after she had clocked out for the night.That type of customer service is Amazing! Thank you Chloe and Lowes for going the extra mile to help a customer! ☆☆☆☆
I have used lowes for the majority of my home renovation. Never had a noteworthy experience one way or another, until now. I went in to buy plexiglass for a project. Asked for someone to be paged and waited 10 minutes. Asked again, figuring they were busy, and waited another 10 minutes. Asked a thrid time, because I really dont have time to wait around anymore. When an employee was able to help me, he couldnt cut the 4ftx8ft sheets because the saw isnt big enough. Walked out then and there. If you cant cut a product you have available, thats a problem. But at least put up a sign that says you cant, so customers dont have their time wasted.
If I could give it a 0 star, I would. Worst customer service ever !!! Ordered a patio door with the guy in the door department. He sends me to the register to pay. No one knew what a patio door is, or how to cash me out. Three register stations just clueless. Keept sending me to another person. I decide to leav and one of the women who was apparently the one with all the knowledge of how to behave. Tells me I was the one rude for leaving. Gets into a debate with me about me leaving and than calls security lol. Do not go there.... I have never encountered more entitled and useless employees. I would suggest investing into customers service and just go to home depot down the road.
Lowes is located on West Ridge rd in Greece ny, the parking lot is clean and safe.The store interior design is well designed and maintained by the the excellent employees.Every thing I need or want is always in stock ready to take home.I love going to the store and picking out items just right for my home and business.Great job to the employees and owners who help make my life easier.Gerry
Attempted to get some help from 2 women, in the appliance department, and they werent very accommodating nor social. Went further into the store, looking into the second quest. Went to check out storm doors, an employee, Randy, came right over, and proceeded to help me with my quest. He was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a tale of two different stores.
My wife and I just had two bathrooms remodeled. We purchased several items from Lowes and also from the other big box store. We noticed after the remodeling was done that we had an extra faucet set. We could not find the receipt. I went into the Lowes on Ridge Rd West on Thursday, October 21st at 3:45pm. Alyson was at the Customer Service Desk handling returns. I dont recall ever returning anything to Lowes. We know we paid cash but had no evidence. The faucet set was unopened and was still available for purchase in the store. Alyson told me (in a very curt and callous way) that she could not take this as a return. We were willing to take a store credit because we still needed other things. She is very cold and calculated. This is not acceptable. Why would we ever return to Lowes? If a manager reaches out to us with an acceptable response, we will retract this. SOS.
The staff is friendly and nice, but it seems to be understaffed. Also their employees seem to have less “handyman” experience than the employees at Home Depot so you may not get the type of help you are looking for if you need assistance with deciding you want to buy. They currently do not accept apple pay so when I forgot my wallet I was out of luck. They have a good selection of products and 99% of the time I am able to get what I am looking for.
Horrible store employees kept hanging up on me once I finally got them to answer the phone without hanging up on me my sixth time calling. She kept sending me around in circles because she didn’t want me to talk to a manager. Lowes really needs to start hiring better people. I’m canceling my order and will go somewhere else. Can’t believe how rude and nasty these people are.
Store has an illogical layout and the stock is terribly disorganized. I should have just ordered online and had the item shipped as the store employees couldnt find the item or even where they were supposed to be in the store. Online said they had three, store employee said four in stock. This is an example of why brick and mortar stores are disappearing. I miss Chase Pitkin. The CP employees not only knew where the items were but they also were able to provide expert advice if needed. Id sooner ask my hair stylist for home improvement advice than a Lowes employee.
I go here somewhat frequently to get things for my place or if I need to fix something. Haven’t had a bad experience yet.Great place to find stuff for repairs and other home projects and the prices aren’t unreasonable either. Due to the pandemic they are understaffed though, so if you need somebody to help you find something, good luck, but that’s everywhere, not just Lowes.
Most of the time I would give a 5 star rating but today went for something that they said was in stock but of course they were out of stock and 7 in the morning no one in store to help lady up at the register was in her 60s prolly not much help for pipe fittings went to home depot
Overall this is a great store. Love their hours, as you can go before or after work and never worry about not being able to get supplies. Their app is much easier to use online than HD. I love it. This location has a great team of staff members who work there. However, if these few people decide to ever take a lunch break or a day off, it goes a bit downhill. Shoutout to Chuck in paint, and Jim in flooring, as you guys are the reason I come back.
Placed an order online. No response for three days. Called to check on the order and the phone rang and rang. I tried Customer service and the pro desk. No one answered. After calling back 5 times someone from customer service finally answered the phone. I was placed on hold 4 different times and after an hour of holding they hung up on me. I cancelled my order and picked up same materials the next morning from Home Depot. I would not recommend this store!
My husband and I went to Lowe’s the other night to purchase blinds and was greeted by a man name Joe who we believe was a supervisor in the blinds area. Joe was absolutely Amazing. He was so insightful and resourceful. He really made the process as stress free as can be. We really appreciated his help and his patience. Joe is the Best!!!!!!
I wasted an hour in the store trying to find four cabinet knobs. 20 mins waiting for someone to come help. The person was walking towards me finally after they were paged and stopped to do something before coming to me. They walked very slow acting like in was a hassle coming to me. When they finally arrived they seemed to not know the stores knob inventory. I couldnt get a brushed nickel knob to save my life. We walked three different places and spoke with two different people and I still walked out of the store about an hour later with no knobs. The store has no excuse for not carrying brushed nickel knobs. They carry brushed nickel bathroom and kitchen faucets. They didnt even have anything online. Cant be a home improvement store if you dont carry the products. Waste of my time and energy.
What is going on in that store??? I needed to cans of stain mixed, there were 2 customers in front of me that had been waiting at least 20 minutes no one was even in paint area heard he was in break room. Well they kept paging someone to the area still nothing. Where the hell was management while all this was going on?After 30 minutes left and drove to Brockport Lowes got great service!!!! Even though I live in Charlotte
I ordered online for curbside pickup. I called number on the sign. After 35 rings hung up and tried again. Again no answer. Decided to go inside. I entered pick up line. I waited 10 minutes for an employee walking by asked if I was picking up. I said yes he said to go to checkout 11. So got in line (only 1 person ahead of me already at register). She couldnt find there pickup package. 3 employees later and another 10 minutes finally found the missing package. I go to the register with my receipt and 1 item I picked up while waiting in line. Cashier snaps at me you have to buy that at another register this is pickup only. So I left item on counter as people were lined up behind me. She couldnt find my pickup either. She started to pick up the phone when I told her I see my item from here. I point it out to her and she said I am the only one working pick up I cant be looking for orders. I go over pick up my order and show her the name and number matches my receipt. She glares at me and then says your done. Next person please. I will never buy from Lowes again.
Aside from the greeter greeting the person whom was her co worker in front of me and turning her head to look the other way to avoid saying good morning to me it was a decent experience. I asked a young man for the item I was looking for and he pulled out his pilot and told me what section it was in with no problem. They opened right on the dot at 6am.
Pickup is supposed to be easy, it wasnt.The item was not ready, not in the system, and the service person was very stressed because the computer was frozen.He completed the transaction without giving me a receipt and said it would be emailed to me.There is obviously a severe need for not only hiring more people, but also training the people you have properly.
I always tell people if you want cheap go to home depot but if you want things correct go to Lowes. The staff here are super knowledgeable and they have pretty much any product you may need. Prices are a bit higher so if home depot has the same product Id recommend going there first.
Customer service is rude. They keep changing their return policies, depending who you are talking to. You get different answers. I have bought tons of items at Lowes. Never again. With the pandemic, and staying at home, you think they would be more lenient with people that need to return things. Even store credit. Nope. Shop at Home Depot.
Tonight (December 30,2020) I was receiving NO help. When I first walked in many employees were standing around talking up front but no employees seemed to be around for service. I asked twice and each time I was told an associate would meet me on my aisle. I finally flagged down an employee who was heading in my direction that was very apologetic for the unnecessarily long wait. He helped us out with all we needed and THEN brought us up front for a hefty discount. Turns out it was the store manager! This is the type of higher up service every major store should hope to have. Ended up being an A plus experience !!!!
Lowes has hospitality,most things that ones looking for and I really appreciated the time and effort of arranging the tripute on Memorial day for our fallen men and women . My wife and I took time to take a picture and also took time to reset a flower pot after a car drove over it. Thank you for your service to your local customers and to all us Vetrans out here.
Lowes always gives me good results. I am a long time customer and pretty much know my way around the store. Some employees even recognize me. Most all of the employees offer assistance if I look even a little bit lost. Even with this pandemic, the vast majority of stuff is available. Shortages of building supplies have not lasted long.
I wonder why Google maps actually asks you to rate a place like Lowes, its just like any other Lowes, its there when you need it. Its like rating a McDonalds, oh their cheeseburgers were just a cut above any other McDonalds!. No theyre not, these places are all the same. Theres 30 seconds Ill never get back.
Cant go to Lowes with too much time on your hands. Walk around and check things out and always buy more than I went in for. Especially tools. Anyway, you know, cashiers always thank me for my service when I check out. That has been case at all of the Lowes. If you didnt know this, the employees with camo vest instead of red are Vets
I would like to see Lowe’s enforcing the current state mandate for all shoppers to wear face coverings while in the store. They have very helpful employees who are meeting all the challenges of being in an essential business. I wish that corporate would get with the program and demonstrate respect for their workers by creating policies to protect everyone. This is a great store and outside of shopping at smaller retail businesses, we’ve always chosen Lowes first. Again, corporate, please take note and do what’s right. Protect your employees by letting customers know that they need to obey state mandates.
Ive been shopping at this store for 5 years and today I was disappointed because of great customer service provided by Taylor. She refused to accept return a product wich I bought at this store because she couldnt find it in a system. She even didnt try to find it or ask for help someone else who know more.THANKS to Tristan who helped us to find out what was wrong with the system.....Taylot instead of apologizing how rude she was,, when she said I cant accept a product, without a receipt, which is incorrect information, based on our previous experience returns with Lawes. She refused to apologize and was hiding from us in the store. Her customer service its unprofessional, not sure how she still works at the store, if she has bad attitude and doesnt know how to find a product and return it without a receipt. She definitely need to be retrained.
Every single time I go into this store all the workers are walking around literally at a snails pace. If you need help good luck! I waited in line for a half hour in the pick up lane for them to tell me they completely messed up my order of course. I wanted to call before I went just to make sure my order is all set but you cant even get anyone to answer the phones there. Stick with your local hardware shops the one on lyell Ave across from wegmans is great, they have everything there and great service. Its sad that someone out there is making billions but yet doesnt have a clue how poorly there store is being ran. Again if you can stick to your local family owned stores stop feeding these greedy corporations!
If you want a kitchen appliance go to a reputable store, like Charlotte Appliance. However, if saving $20 is worth wrongly ordered items, misplaced items, lost order information, electrical stove scheduled for gas hookup, and several days figuring out that they forgot you needed a plug to use it ... well, then Lowe’s appliance department is for you! And you have a day free for fun, trying calling them to resolve your problems.
I needed to find an item that the website said was in stock at this location, but it wasnt on the shelf. I had to chase down an employee for help. They werent familiar about how to find the item displayed on my phone and called for another employee. I waited in the isle and after 10 mins gave up when noone arrived.
I used Lowes curbside delivery option. My order took several hours to be ready which was fine as I was not in a rush. So so would recomnend to plan a head. When I arrived I made contact and a young man brought my order out promptly. He was properly face masked and polite!
Iam very happy with this store, mainly for a top quality manager named Vinney. This gentleman took care of me in a royal way. I ordered 4 Appliances at once, and because of the pandemic, it got a little turbulent as far me getting everything, but Vinney made sure that everything was taken care of, Iam very impressed with this gentleman, he should get a raise. Every manager should take notes from this manager thanks Vinney
I didn’t think I’d shop at Lowe’s but I found in-stock and readily available Legrand electrical parts here. I normally go to Home Depot for everything but I’m starting to go to Lowe’s a lot more now. The selection of lighting is wider than I expected and the styles are a bit nicer too.Great store on selection and variety but I haven’t wondered too far from the electrical aisles. The store is a bit far from me to make it my default store but it’s worth the trip when looking for a specific item.
Had a special order from 3M for furnace filters! Initially told me it would be in by Saturday 10/24. Updated me by email on 10/25. Said items would be in store for curbside by 10/29. Received email 10/27, items were ready for pickup. Were in car 5 minutes after arrival! KUDOS, LOWES!
Purchased a riding mower had a hard time finding help but I did had to go back a few days later because theyre not assembled when I went to pick it up I went to service desk clerk at service desk was nice she called up another girl to service desk told her to get my mower she rolled her eyes and sighed heavy I waited at service desk then I saw her bringing it up front but was stopping and talking to her coworkers I thought what the heck she made it up front finally and said here you go I asked if I could get help getting it loaded in my truck she said I.was on my own I guess thats the thanks I get for a $1400 purchase. I normally shop at home depot and get treated well there but were out of model of mower I.wanted so I went to Lowes and that will be the last time I shop at Lowes
Im very disappointed with the service!!On more than one occasion employees seem not to care about proper customer service. Im not talking about special treatment but just some regular let me do what Im being paid for service.I do not plan to purchase anything else from Lowes ever again! Home-depot will get all my business from now on.
It would be very easy for this store to get a better rating from me. I am here almost weekly and there is NEVER anyone around for help. Staff the place properly and stop worrying about your production numbers so much. This makes your service suck. Even paging a department does nothing. Ive been frustrated enough to walk out and spend the money elsewhere more than once.UPDATE - a year later. Nothing has changed. Bringing back my second water tank from here, hassled. Just like when I brought the last one in that also failed in under a year. They didnt have the same model and I had to pay $200 out of pocket. Now they dont sell whirlpool anymore and I just dragged this thing in here to be told that they cant help me today because they have to contact whirlpool. Unreal. The last time I shop at Lowes is today. Thanks for nothing.
Was directed to the wrong isle twice line was so long had to go to one of the robots of course something didnt scan right so I asked the kid to stick around when it got to the end the computer asked if I was a vet so I said yes only to find out that it doesnt count unless you get on another computer first.screw this
I ordered a grill and 2 fence section on line. They let me know my order was ready. When I showed up at the store the fence sections were no where to be found. Customer service was any but. While standing there I tried calling the store. After spending a long time listening to menus I found the number I needed to press. I gave up after 5 minutes of it ringing I gave up. I asked for the manger. It took him a while to show up. Nobody was even kind enough to move any faster than a slow walk. 45 minutes to pick up an online order is shameful. The manager didnt even apologize for the wait. He acted like he was doing me a favor just helping me.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Good selection, well layed out store. They would have gotten five stars, but when we went to check out, the cashier took a good extra five minutes talking to her friend she was waiting on instead of doing her job. The customer had 5 or 6 items and took 10 minutes to complete her transaction.
Hard to locate help when you do find some they give a quick answer and run off. As I cashed out my info showed up on the screen for my military discount but didnt get it. Says on my receipt I need to update my data. I spent about $250.00. They just lost a customer and they can not pay me enough to walk back into their store
I had an overall bad experience at Lowes in Greece. I went to Lowes for the selection and I liked some of their products better than other home improvement stores but their managers customer service is truly awful! They had a power outage the day I went to pick up my items so I could NOT get my items. When asked if they could deliver them I was told 1 week well my project started in a couple days so I had to spend more money to get another way to pick up my items. The manager Zach told me he would figure something out and call me back neither of which happened! When I tried to get him I was unable to. Then the store calls me a month later asking if I have picked up my items smh I couldnt believe it! I let them know that I did and I am not happy with the service I received there and will never shop there again! The lady on the phone said sorry but really didnt care because she is just clearing tickets from the system not trying to hear me and my concerns which was demonstrated when she hung up on me! I was going to call back to talk to a manager but what good would it do? Obviously no one cares at that store so I decided to leave this message hoping it helps someone else in the future because I certainly will NEVER shop there again!!!!
While many of the people there are very kind, a few made the entire experience unbearable. I will never again be a patron of this location. We had a pick up order that we had to travel to the store 3 separate times for 30 minutes waits as nothing could be located. Incompetence of several employees have ruined our experience. Worth noting the flooring employees were fantastic but all other interactions included rude employees and long waits. If flooring was allowed to handle all aspects of flooring orders I will consider using Lowes again.
As far as home improvement stores you cant do much better. Staff Ive talked to is always happy to help which usually just entails directing me to where the thing Im trying to find is because the organization is difficult for me to get used to. Ive had to return some things and they honored the receipts no issue. Would go here for most needs unless the price at competitors are significantly lower.
I was very disappointed by my last visit to this location. I went early on Monday morning to get supplies for a small project that day. While grabbing supplies I browsed the store as I had a bit of extra time. Suddenly asset protection was behind me asking if I needed Help. It was something that completely put me off. I frequent this location and I have never been treated this way. I felt profiled based upon the fact I am 25 year old kid with a backwards hat. THAT MUST MEAN I AM UP TO NO GOOD RIGHT? This store has officially lost my business and the business of any and all that I can share this awful experience with. Shame on this location, good thing the competing store is just a few miles down the road!
Lowes has become our complete resource for all sorts of home improvement projects that we do. Service is great and their selection is pretty awesome. We recently re-did our entire bathroom and got about 75% of the stuff right from Lowes--tile, flooring, paint, pretty much everything except the big stuff. We did order faucets from the store which got totally messed up, but an assistant manager helped out in a major way and even offered a discount if I purchased another set of faucets. Good customer service!
Ordered a washer and dryer online it was set for a Pacific day and time to be dropped off. I had to take off school to make sure that I would be here for when it came. Only to find out that I could have stayed in school because it never came I ended up calling the store the manager who is on call explain to me that the truck driver was just called and he is on his way mind you the store is only 15 minutes down the road from my house so 2 hours later when the washer and dryer still has not been dropped off I call back only this time the manager cannot get ahold of his truck driver. After staying on the phone for 30 minutes I then decided to go down to the store surprise surprise within 30 minutes of me being at the Lowes store the truck pulls up to my house and my roommate lets them into setup. Im rating 3 because when I did go into the store and spoke with the manager she did her best to accommodate me. And I appreciate that thank you
The BEST thing about Lowes Greece is Beverley the delivery driver. She has delivered twice to me out here in Hilton and she is on time, calls beforehand, is courteous and a pleasure to chat with! An excellent employee. If it werent for her I would be getting my deliveries from home Depot! THANK YOU BEVERLEY FOR EVERYTHING!!!
I love Lowes, this specific location is always lacking in cashiers. I would shop here more if I didnt have to wait to checkout every time I came. This is the same story for the online order pick-up. Every time I do a pick-up it takes longer than if I just went in and found the item myself. The staff at the service desk treats you like a problem and is always understaffed.
Very difficult to find someone to answer questions about appliances. The appliance selection was better than Gates home depot but not great service. I also purchased some clearance LED light bulbs and at least one was defective. I don’t live close by so going back to return would have cost more than the product itself. Bummer to find a good buy and then find out later the purchase was a loss.
I tried to return an item that I had just purchased the day before but the cashier who is not able to scan in item properly so she scanned a different item instead so I was not able to return that item. The cashier was too lazy to do her job So now I am stuck with an item I cannot use.
I had a great experience at this Lowes location! I originally went for plant things, but happened to be in the market for a new vacuum cleaner and realized I could pick that up simultaneously. I was standing in the vacuum cleaner aisle but am terribly indecisive and it must have been evident that I was having trouble making up my mind. A young, handsome assistant manager walked up (I think his name was Devin?) and asked if I needed help. He steered me toward a lightweight, affordable, and frankly fantastic vacuum cleaner that fits all my needs; without his help Id probably still be browsing vacuum cleaners! As an added courtesy he pulled it down off the high shelf for me and checked me out himself. Truly top-notch customer service!
Our dryer broke about a month prior to our third baby girl being born. My parents tried to surprise us by buying us a new dryer and having Lowe’s install it. They came to install it, never installed the new vent system (which we purchased as part of the new dryer and installation), and went to turn on the new dryer. Upon turning it on, it caught on fire which travelled up the vent and caught fire to the deck and the house. We had to call 9-1-1 and have the fire department come and put out the fire. We had to evacuate our house. A 4 year old, a sleeping 2 year old, and a 7-day old baby along with myself and my wife who had just had c section surgery. All evacuated while the fire dept rushed into the house to take care of the fire. It’s been over a month, we had to pay for the damages out of our own pocket. The dryer is still on my father’s credit card. We still have no dryer. And every time we call or email about the claim, the specialist refuses to respond. When we call the general claims number we get attitude like it’s a hassle for them to be checking on this. This has been the worst customer experience ever. And we are now over a month later without a dryer and absolutely no sense of urgency from the company that caused the fire and the damage.
All I can say is its been a very frustrating experience so far! First dishwasher was defective with a leak. Lowes placed an order for number 2. They apparently damaged that one. Dishwasher number 3 was supposed to be installed today....and what do you know, a phone call from Lowes. Installer couldnt take it due to damage. I was told that it was damaged at the store! Cant wait...will there be a number 4? Get your act together Lowes!!!
Long lines and staff are not too helpful. Was here twice today, on both occasions had to wait 10 plus minutes at pro checkout. In addition the shelf locations for many items in the store app are wrong. According to the app safety goggles are aisle LW bay 3 or aisle 29 bay 8. Nope, they are aisle 3 all the way on the other side of the store. Not a great experience today but I still prefer it over HD.
Ordered online and paid in advance, went the next day to pick it up and took almost 2 hours to get it once I got to the store. Very unprofessional and disorganized, and I ended up being very late to where I had to go next. I do still prefer Lowes to the Home Depot however, just not the Greece location.
This location is a joke, the customer service is horrendous. Today I stood at the paint desk for close to thirty minutes trying to make a purchase. When I arrived at the paint desk there was no one around. With that said I went ahead and pressed the call button which makes an automated overhead announcement in the store that a customer needs assistance in paint. Well thirty minutes ticked by with multiple overhead announcements made and no one showed! I had employees walk by me, I had multiple employees in view of me at cash registers and at the customer service desk, no one gave a damn. A simple hey we are working on getting someone over to you would of settled my frustration. Instead I was blatantly ignored which pushed me over the edge.This is one of many occasions where employees at this location have failed to simply do their job and satisfy the customer. The poor quality of employees, the horrible attitudes and their inability to put the customer first is inexcusable. Im done giving this garbage company my money. Done.
Lowe’s has some decent stuff and you can find one in many many towns and this is why they get the two stars I’m giving them. However the customer service is just awful. I have worked retail so I know that people get missed and over looked from time to time so I always give them the Benefit of the doubt. However, for Lowe’s it has been my experience that no matter what time of day or department you are in the customer service is just plain bad. Lumber and paint have to be the two worst offenders. I would skip Lowe’s altogether if not for there being many locations and I don’t always have time to go to Home Depot or better yet a real hardware store with quality tools and supply’s, another thing these larger home improvement stores lack.
Went to lowes in Greece to buy a garden tractor. They had a repaired craftsman for sale and said charged battery and replaced belt. I asked for someone to help me and was told they had to get the manager. The manager sent another employee who had no idea how to start the mower so she called the manager again. The manager then sent another person to try and he didnt know what to do either. I finally asked if they could just get the manager to come out. After another 10 minutes I was told he was busy with another customer and they dont know when he will be available. We were there for over an hour so theres no reason he couldnt come out and help us to sell a 1500 dollar mower. Very disappointed in lowes. Too bad. I used to spend a lot of money there. Not anymore
I’ve shopped there several times, I’ve worked there, and This Lowe’s Blows. It takes incredibly long to get cashed out, there is never enough coverage to help 90% of their customers especially in the evening. The store is dirty, and as an employee, even though they say in orientation that they put family first, they couldn’t let me have every other weekend with my son who is disabled and needs a set routine. The pay is not close enough to make up for all that you have to deal with. Worst experience ever.
I normally dont leave reviews, but after today I felt inclined to. I placed an online order today at noon for my wife to pickup later that day. 5 hours later my wife arrives at the store and absolutely nothing has been pulled for the order. The lady at the desk tells her it been busy and they havent had time to pull it. The last then proceeds to go try to pull it herself, but is called back to the register to help someone else while my wife was there before them and proceeded to give my wife attitude when asked about it. I thought this would be convenient for my wife to pickup, but obviously not. Theres a reason I prefer the local home depot over here. Never again will I place an online lowes order!
Not particularly impressed. I would recommend Home Depot it is a better store. Lowes often is out of what you went there for. If they are not out of it it is damaged goods. There are some things that are an okay deal there. The people that work there are a freak Show. Its close so I go there but if you have a Home Depot I would recommend going there instead.
The Greece Lowes ALWAYS DISAPPOINTS.I swore off this store earlier this year even though it is the closest to my house. After my visit today Im reminded why I decided not to go back, and now I will never return to this location. This store is woefully unorganized, every aisle looks like a kid ran through it and moved everything on every shelf. It is very disorganized, their inventory count is ALWAYS off, and finding someone that knows anything is near to impossible. And its just this location, other Lowes stores are clean, organized and have friendly and knowledgeable associated working there, but this location is just the worst.
I dont usually go shopping at Lowes because the staff always look busy but you can never get anyone to help you. Went there because their site said they had six belts of what we needed got there and there was no belts on the Shelf. The employee working the area said oh yeah they get stolen all the time. Then said they just moved everything to that area. (which I would think they would know what they have now). I didnt really like her response so I got another employee to scan it to see if there were more in the store. She did said there were six, the first employee ran over to see what we were doing however no one even tried to look for the six. Drove there just because of this went to the service desk to ask them if this was appropriate customer service they called the manager after waiting for 3 or 4 minutes one employee said the manager just called and hung up on her and I walked away. I really hate Lowes service its always bad they could have 15 employees up front and it would still be bad I dont understand.
Organized, helpful, and well managed. Worst day of snow this year and they made sure the front door had everything you could think of to that you may need. There is standard retail and then well executed retail with a purpose. This was the latter more than the former! Great location.
Worst buying experience ever. After numerous phone calls and waiting for as long as 15/20 minutes to report an overcharge problem, I was able to talk to a representative in the appliance dept. This representative was busy and was going to call me back... I am still waiting. I sent an email to the Lowes CEO to inform him of the inefficiencies of the associates of this particular store. Will never go to this store again.
Had to return a defective item and while it was a pain to have to go back for an exchange, it was actually a good experience. No argument, just grabbed a new replacement, back to the service counter and on my way. It was on the busy side, but everything was moving right along. Overall decent experience.
Waiting over a half an hour for a tractor that I ordered online 4 days ago and they told me on two different occasions that it was ready for me. And now they say it was never set up and I cant take it. Im paying for trailer that Im renting to take it out of town. Im not very happy with Lowes.
I purchased a screen door this past summer. Last week it broke, I did not have the receipt. The store was very helpful and gave me the parts to fix the door. I am completely satisfied with the service I received from the service manager, Jen S. , and the gentleman named Jeff. Thank you for being so helpful.
Showed up recently to grab a pick up store order. After talking to the desk and them looking for 5 mins we started to look ourselves and found a cart with close to half of our order on it. After shopping and grabbing everything that was supposed to be ready our order of 30 pkgs of final floring could not be found. They decided to pull it from the shelves which took another 30-45 mins to find the appropriate people/supplies. After everything was said and done they didnt have enough of the flooring (that was all ready to be picked up) for us so they threw in 2 damaged boxes of the flooring....for half off (WOW THANKS....). HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I will give someone else are order of close to $3000 next time.
No one can pick up the phone for curbside pick up Busy signal one day the next day they told me they were to busy to come out I would have to go in they had only one person doing curbside and they were helping a customer inside. Don’t have a curbside Pickup if you don’t have the staff or the capability to do it. She said I’d have to wait 45 minutes for someone to help me it’s day 3 and I still haven’t got my stuff
Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The cashier was extremely rude multiple times. Unfortunately, I have always been a big fan of Lowe’s, however, I will not be a returning customer. This location could benefit from investing in customer service training for their team.
Hilarious to hear someone whining about a price guarantee. Its American retail. No one price matches anything unless its identical, so stop slamming them when its the nature of retail. Second of all, if you have a legitimate construction company, you have no idea what youre doing if youre buying from a retailer instead of a supplier. Sounds like bs to me.I have no complaints about customer service here, Ive never had problems getting help when I needed it either. Obviously more expensive then a wholesaler but thats to be expected. Prices are good for retail and great for when you have to grab one or two things you needed and need them now. Also never had a problem with returns. I do it a lot with pvc couplings and such in case I didnt grab enough from my supplier. I comfortably buy more and they always take back the left overs.
I ordered lumber last week to be delivered. They scheduled it for Wednesday. It never arrived, no notification. Finally got a hold of the manager and delivery was promised for Friday. Never arrived. Had to call again and wait over 2 hours for them to reply that now its coming on Monday. Im shopping at Home Depot from now on.
Went there to have my paint shaken up and they told me they didnt do that anymore. The gentleman behind the counter was going to do it, but the lady with says we dont do anymore. I asked why and she said we dont know whats in it. I bought the paint last fall and it sat down my basement for the winter. Mind you I had 2 5 gallons of paint, I paid over $250 for it from them. They lost my money at least the Greece store did. Went to Home Depot and they did it, it wasnt a paint the sell. I bought my brushes and rollers too since I was there.
Im a long time commercial account customer with Lowes and now I am past customer! I went to Lowes on 5/9 at 4:30 and waited over 30 mins just for someone to acknowledge my existence. When I was waited on lets say that it didnt go well. If these big box stores are going to continue to under staff themselves Im sure more customers will leave like I just did.
Stopped here at 1230 on Saturday. The parking lot on the garden side was a mess. Pallets broken, piles of junk. The garden area in the store not much better. Dead plants in the sales area not removed. Broken bags of mulch and soil. Areas look like they have never been swept. Long line at register ..only one open.
Ive placed 2 orders now for a riding lawnmower for my mother. The first was a Mothers Day gift, the other was because they never delivered the one on Mothers Day and told me they will cancel my order and to buy it again because it wasnt showing up. I have multiple emails confirming pay, confirming it was ordered and confirming a delivery date. Ive called up the store to find out where my mower was, and Ive contacted them online. Nonstop excuses are given to me over and over again on why its not showing up at my moms door whos grass is currently almost a foot tall because weve been waiting weeks. Terrible service from this location
I went to purchase a toilet. A worker walked right by me and didn’t ask me if I needed assistance. Then, after maneuvering the toilet into the cart, the rude cashier assured me to “just go outside, someone will be out there to help you.” I waited for ten minutes, tried to call from the lot for someone to come out and help me. Luckily, another customer helped me load it into the car. I will never return to this store. Degenerates work there and no one gives a .... about their customers or helping them. No wonder they get paid minimum wage.
Employees dont seem to work as team. Extremely long wait times. Management berated an obviously overwhelmed employee instead of trying to get line moving. Girl in appliance called for assistance in getting microwave down from high shelf. Waited 25 minutes and then had me assist her on ladder. I dont blame the employees here. There is a problem at the top that is very evident to customers.
I went to the garden center two days ago and witnessed almost all employees not wearing a mask. one was walking around with it on his chin. when we asked for help the woman who came over had it on her chin and spoke with us without putting it on her face. upon cashing out, she was sitting in a chair with her mask still not on her face. the cashier she was talking to picked up her mask and put it on only when we were cashing out. disappointed.
We went in to buy a new storm door and front entry door. After the assistance needed in.. overhead page went off about 5-6 times, finally a guy came over and audibly laughed and rolled his eyes at me when I told him I needed to buy two doors. He knew he knew nothing about doors. After bringing the door home and realizing the label was wrong on the door, we had to bring it back. The right door needed to be special ordered. That just came in today (almost a month later) and is the wrong style door!!! There are never enough people working and they know nothing about the areas they are staffed in.
As long as you know what you want and where to find it, you will be ok. There is a lot of variety, and usually its well stocked, but staff... oy. The stores biggest issue is staff - not all, but unfortunately it seems there is always a problem getting good help late afternoon, evenings or weekends. Its either not enough staff or it seems theyre so stretched thin or overworked they dont care, walking around like zombies shuffling their feet.
Bought a Samsung refrigerator from Lowes and it stopped working within one year. Lost all the food in the fridge. Called lowes for service and they came three days later but had to order the part needed. Came in three weeks later and the fridge was fixed. Filed the claim for food spoilage on 9/23/17 was sent a confirming email on 10/3/17 that it would take 21 business days. I sent an email on 11/11/17 inquiring about the claim as it has already been 28 business days. No reply? I called on 11/24/17 and talked with lowes to get an update to find out they have done nothing with the claim. They offered to get it submitted and get back to me in 14 business days? I would not recommend Lowes for anything if this is how they treat a customer. Buyer beware.
I was very disappointed this evening to find there was no assistance in the flooring dept. My self and another couple waited between 45 mins to an hour. I asked multiple employees to call someone to assist. The other couple went to the front of the store to get a manager. After 20 mins I went to see what happened and they were still trying to reach someone to assist. Argh..... really up setting. It was not closing time and the store was not crowded.
I was told I had to go to the service desk to obtain a gift receipt that was sent to the printer. I wondered why it couldnt be printed at the register. Lo and behold, when I picked the print out,, it was an invoice with the prices I paid; not suitable to give with the Christmas gift. I was told by the service desk rep that Lowes does not have gift receipts. I find it hard to believe that a company of Lowes size doesnt make gift receipts available to its customers.
Sit back boys and girls and let me tell you why I am never going to this (or possibly any) Lowes ever again.First we placed a cabinet order. The store told us to call the day before, and then two hours before we picked up our order. So we call appropriately and they assure us the order will be picked and up front waiting for us to get there. When we show up, alas no cabinets. So we go to the service desk and are told rather snottily that your order is picked and in the back, we couldnt be sure youd actually show up on time and we cant have orders sitting up front all dayStrike one.So a very nice kid goes back to fetch our order and brings it to the front. Lowe (get it?) and behold theres about half of the cabinets we ordered and two obviously mismatched pieces of countertop (one was right, the other wrong).Strike two.Then ensues much cross checking of orders, making lists of what we still need etc. etc. So the associate goes back to find the rest of our things and takes the countertops back. While we are waiting on the cabinets the counters come back with a different associate. This time they do match, but they had picked the wrong one out of the original two, not to mention the cuts were on the wrong side. Sending him off again, we began loading the cabinets which had finally all arrived. That finished I go to check on the countertops and the guy ONCE AGAIN had the wrong color counters on the cart, this time with the cuts on the correct side.It was at this point that he confided he was actually from lawn mowers and didnt really have any experience in cabinets. So I helped him get the right ones on the cart and send them up.Despite this whole fiasco which demonstrated a number of issues (poor customer service, lack of staff, stock database issues etc) we went back a couple days later to get a dryer. That ordering process went pretty smoothly and they told us that delivery will be June 11th, between 8:00 and 12:00 and that wed get a call refining our window to two hours.So, judging by the date and time of this review, can anyone guess how our new dryer is running? Anyone?If you said obviously something went wrong and he doesnt have his dryer YOURE A WINNER! Unfortunately just like Lowes, your prize will never ship and we wont call you to tell you that either.So, needless to say this Lowes is easily the worst commercial establishment I have ever been to from top to bottom. They are understaffed, impolite and struggle with the most basic of logistical issues. Unless youre popping in to grab something off the shelves, save yourself the time and trouble and go ANYWHERE else.
Service was horrendous! Asked 4 people for help and they didnt work in that department. Even asked the manager! Waited 35 minutes for them to get someone to help us. No one ever showed up! Talked to the cashier who said Well its late, its usually like that. Something to keep in mind if youre going shopping there after 7 p.m.
After an exhaustive search for the 60 Pack or RAYOVAC Batteries on sale I went to the Customer Service Deck for Help. A Customer Service Rep (Jessica D.) went with me to search and when we didnt find the item she placed a call to someone (as the computer was showing I believe she said 74 in stock) and a gentleman brought a pack to the CS Counter. It may sound like a small thing but it represented true Customer Service and I left with a very positive impression of the store when it could have been negative. THANK YOU! Jessica D. Well Done!
I moved into a new house so Ive had to run to Lowes quite a few times in the past month. Overall this location has been able to help me with the smaller diy projects I have been attempting, but I did have a funny experience with one of the younger men helping me cut some plywood. Basically he thought that there was 16 inches in a foot and then blamed being new when I told him there was only 12...I made sure to remeasure all the cuts before going home! hahaI would like to give a huge shout out to Anne Marie!! I was checking out and my 15 month old daughter did NOT want to be at the store any longer and was screaming. Anne Marie was a pro and showed my daughter that she was on tv (video surveillance) and gave her a paint brush I just bought to hold on to; my daughter calmed right down and thought it was the coolest thing. She was amazing and I definitely give her five stars!
It used to be when I asked where something was the employee would take me to the item and be sure it was what I was looking for before going back to whatever they were doing. Lately however they just give an isle number and tell you what side. The last few times these directions lead me to an item other than what I needed and I the had to track down another employee and ask again. Meh service gets a meh rating.
The service at this Lowes is very very poor - everyone they hire seems to be 25 (in love with how they look though - I guess someone needs to be) and clueless. The Service contracts are a joke - they have no idea how they operate and they push them on every purchase.After 3 phone calls they figured out I did indeed purchase a service contract for my lawnmower. I brought it in and then they never called when it came back in the store. They didnt even seem to know it was there until I came in and asked for it. Like I said clueless morons. And yes its been sitting in the rain.
I went to this store this morning to get the piece that extends the length of a 4 x 4. Knowing that this would be in the lumber section, I went to that desk in the front corner of the department and asked Maria M. where I might find this. She said, That would be back there. and nodded toward the wall that went the entire side width of the store. I wanted to say, Oh, Im sorry, I thought you WORKED here!. Why wont anyone assist you these days?
Please clean the restrooms, the overall experience was good, but all the stalls were so filthy I just held it till I got home..edit: the next time I went in, they had a cleaning crew cleaning the restrooms, which is good, but im going to maintain my rating, because these kinds of things could be repeat experiences.
Terrible, I had one item & was trying to checkout in the garden Dept. They had 1 cashier on & the line did not move at all for 10 minutes, then it starts moving & now the customer in front of me cashier calls for an over ride.now I wait another 10 minutes finally another cashier shows up now all people behind me go to the other line. Im still waiting another 5 to 10 mins. Still no over ride I go to the other line because no one in it now & guess what the cashier walks away .At this point I leave my stuff on the counter & walk out.I completely wasted over 45 mi s. Between shopping for the item & standing in line. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN !
After 5 PM there is no one available in the lumber department to help load wood. I was there to buy 4 pcs of 3/4 plywood that is hard to move without 2 people. The clerk called for help twice from anyone else in the store but no one showed up. I finally went to the service desk and asked for the manager. He never came out but the service desk clerk finally got someone to help me. The people who helped me were great but the experience was time consuming and miserable. I blame the manager because there is never anyone to help at this store. He should be fired.
Horrible experience in delivery. Has been rescheduled 3 times. Apparently this last time was due to not enough deliveries in our area. Received no phone call to let us know. Didnt realize it would take 5 weeks to receive a washer and dryer. Would have gone to Home Improvement.
The beginning of June 2016 we purchased and had installed pergo flooring by Lowes. They are who we signed the contact with and paid. We have needed repairs, which is under warranty and questioned the quality of the flooring itself as a plastic magnet with a rounded edge fell of the refrigerator and dented the flooring among many other issues. We have yet to have our floor repaired after numerous attempts of contacting Loews. They have switched contractor companies a few times, never placed our order for repairs, had no record of needing repairs. I have called the contractors numbers they have provided and someone came but still never got fixed and never returned calls. This is the 3rd time. Im going to contact the BBB and list the companies and file a complaint against all of them. I dont know what else to do.
Went to this location today for the first time in a while, because I was in the area. The customer service here is HORRIBLE!!!! My fiancé and I were looking around in a certain area where there were three associates. Not one of them greeted us, or asked if we needed help. When we went up to the desk to ask a question, the associate was very rude. I will never go back to this location.
Was at Pro-derive today 6/9/18 and there was a line. One guy working. For some reason he kept walking off and helping people who weren’t in line that was just walking in the store. It’s almost like he didn’t even know the line was there. Horrable service. I was ready to purchase a shed but left and went elsewhere.
This location does have some staffing issues. I went after work around 5:30 I saw a display model that I was interested in. Took 30 minutes or more just to get someone over to get some questions answered. I guess if you know what you need and where it is you will probably be Ok since it seems like they stock most everything. I would try a different location if you need assistance for any reason.
Worst service the third time! Called all day to have a manager call back and person I spoke to never sent message and she gave me a name for herself and she doesnt exist..per store employees. Service desk woman kept hanging up on me and and never called manager. Only person to help was Peter. Called to set up service for frig..been calling foe four months. Im contacting corporate.
Horrible customer service...lady at wood dept was extremely rude and you felt like you were bothering her. Then paint dept, wait forever to ask a question then no one helps you! They pretend they do not see you! I turned around and left, went to Home Depot. Much better experience

2022-04-06Looking to replace the screen door handle and Lowes had a great variety to choose from. Reason for 4 stars was no one k ew where to send me. I was first sent to doors in isle 49, only to be told I needed to go to isle 3...then back to 49 because the worker in row 3 had no idea if the ones i chose would fit.

2022-02-23I needed moulding for around the door and windows in the newly renovated garage. Andy W and Trevor were very helpful. Trevor was very helpful in finding what I needed. He was able to point it right out. Once we realized that they didn’t have enough quantity of the pieces that I needed, Trevor tried to find more. He couldn’t find any and without me asking, he went to get the manager. Andy W was able to help with getting me the right size pieces. I am appreciative of them saving me another trip and got it all done in one night. Thanks a lot guys!!!!

2022-03-25Unprofessional customer services ever. I called 10 times to just make a payment and they couldnt do just that. They kept transferring me to different persons and no one could make a transaction. Only God knows why. What kind of employee is Lowes hiring? I requested to speak to a manager and they wouldnt do that either. Wow, what an experience Lowes gave to their customers. I made an order of grater than $ 1500 and thats the services I received. Never will make a purchase again. So disappointed 😞. Unbelievable. Such a big store offering such services.

2022-04-28Im only giving 2 stars for the receiving and shipping because they always have what we need there, BUT Worst. Workers. Ever. No one (and I mean no one) is available or knowledgeably can help you. My husband just stood there to purchase an $900 door for a client, and all they did was say someone would help and that thats not THEIR job. 45 minutes later and multiple calls to the front desk resulted in nothing. He could hear the phone just ringing. Nobody came. He walked up to the service desk to see three people standing around, doing nothing on their phones. This isnt the first time or the first experience with the awful service that Ive had .My husband is contractor and its actually a running joke with others in the area that if you go to Lowes, make sure you dont have to need anything from anyone there.

2022-06-21I was waiting in line to pay for $20 worth of plants. The guy behind me must have decided he waited long enough & pushed his cart, with what looked like an air conditioner in it, out of the garden area. An employee just watched him leave. In the meantime, as I was leaving, after I PAID for my purchase, my receipt was checked as if I was exiting Fort Knox. I shouldve asked to speak with the manager but really...what good wouldve that done?

2022-04-17Can’t find anyone that works at the Ridge Rd store… bugs the heck out of me. When the gentleman finally came, he said we are out of that. I ended up buying a large quantity of something that I will only ever use a small amount of… I loved the way it used to be when everyone was happy to work there and talk to you about the best or alternative way to fix your issue.

2022-04-19If you are picking up lumber please be careful! Today my mother did curbside pick up and the workers decided to rush the job and smashed the wood into my mothers windshield from the inside leaving a huge crack and now they say it will take a few days for their insurance people to contact her and then she has to wait until usps delivers a check for the damage costs

2022-04-28Appliances: I have to say Lowes customer service for delivery and issues far exceeds that of Home Depot. I have bought a dozen appliances at HD, but they started getting worse and worse with delivery. Lowes guys came through, did an excellent job, and were pleasant. When I had an issue with a new dryer not performing (left clothes damp, even after manufacturer service), Andy W in appliances helped me with a plan for exchange next week.
